House Speaker J.D. Mesnard (R-17) today announced that Peoria resident Chuck Fitzgerald has been named Sergeant-At-Arms of the Arizona House of Representatives.

Fitzgerald most recently served as executive director of Vineyard Community Charities. He previously served as director of the Governor’s Office of Faith and Community Partnerships from 2014 to 2015 and director of the Department of Economic Security’s Office of Faith and Community from 2007 to 2014. Prior to taking on duties in state government, Fitzgerald enjoyed a long career in the private sector, especially in technology-related businesses. He also served in the United States Marine Corps from 1974 to 1978.

“Chuck Fitzgerald has a reputation for civility and cooperation, and I’m excited to welcome him to the House team as our new Sergeant-At-Arms,” said Speaker Mesnard. “Chuck has some big shoes to fill, but I know that he will do a great job for the House.”

Fitzgerald succeeds Bob Robles, who died in September, as the House’s Sergeant-At-Arms. Fitzgerald started his new position Nov. 20.

Maricopa County Announces They Will No Longer Use the 2020 Voting Machines – GOP Senator Wendy Rogers Chimes In: “Ban ALL fraud machines!”

Maricopa County officials announced on Monday they will not use fraudulent voting equipment again. “The County will never use equipment that could pose a risk to free and fair elections.”

On Monday, woke local Arizona journalist Jen Fifield shared some good news for a change.

Maricopa County will no longer use “compromised” voting machines. This announcement comes after Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobb’s May 20, 2021 letter, to the County, blaming the Arizona Senate for compromising the machines.

If we want free and fair elections, we should just go back to paper ballots.

Unlike machines, paper cannot be compromised without one’s knowledge.

We know the machines were compromised long before the Senate took hold of them. If fraud occurred in November, voting machines do need to be replaced.

If the machines were so secure, cyber ninjas would not be able to compromise the machines, and Dominion, with total access, could correct any issues.

The Arizona Senate still has not received Dominion routers or passwords.

Arizona State Senator Wendy Rogers wants ALL fraudulent voting machines replaced.

Fifield: Breaking: Maricopa County announces it will not use any of the voting equipment that has been in the hands of Cyber Ninjas again. County was required under subpoenas to give most of the $6 million in equipment it leases from Dominion to the Senate for the audit.

It appears that Katie Hobbs and the county are trying to destroy the evidence before the final report comes out likely in August.

FDA Adds Heart Inflammation Warning to Pfizer, Moderna COVID Vaccines as Some Experts Call for Full Approval

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration added a warning to fact sheets — as advised by the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices — for Pfizer and Moderna COVID vaccines indicating an increased risk of myocarditis and pericarditis following vaccination.

The FDA’s update followed a review of information and discussion by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) meeting on June 23 where the committee acknowledged 1,200 cases of heart inflammation in 16- to 24-year-olds and said mRNA COVID vaccines should carry a warning statement.

“The data presented at this meeting reinforced the FDA’s decision to revise the fact sheets and further informed the specific revisions,” the FDA said in a statement.

Health officials said the benefits of receiving a COVID vaccine still outweigh any risks. Physicians and other public commenters accused the CDC during the meeting of exaggerating the risk to young people of COVID, and minimizing the risk of the vaccines.

Dr. Meryl Nass, an internal medicine physician, pointed out several flaws in the data used during the ACIP’s presentation:

“As of now, two major ways the rate of myocarditis were minimized [during the presentation] was to lump people from age 39 and down — even though the highest rates [of myocarditis] are in the youngest kids. This waters down the rate. The other method was to only include a very narrow window of time after vaccinations started in the 12-15 age group, thus omitting the vast majority of second doses, which is when about 75% or more of the myocarditis cases occur. Also, the genders were sometimes mixed. And rates in girls are much lower than boys.”....

During the CDC’s presentation, Dr. Megan Wallance stated the overall efficacy of Pfizer’s COVID vaccine in the 12 to 15 age group is 100% and Moderna’s was comparable. Wallace then did a risk/benefit analysis comparing myocarditis cases versus hospitalization rates for COVID in people between the ages of 12 and 29....

According to The Hill, calls are rising from some experts for the FDA to fully approve COVID vaccines, as some unvaccinated people view current Emergency Use Authorizations for vaccines as an indicator they are experimental and not fully tested.....

Full approval of COVID vaccines will likely lead to more employee mandates. Boston Herald, a major hospital in Boston, announced June 24 it would require more than 80,000 Mass General Brigham employees be vaccinated against COVID once one of the three vaccines gain approval from the FDA.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the city of San Francisco announced last week it would require its 35,000 employees to get vaccinated against COVID or risk losing their jobs. ....

'False positive' Covid tests created by schoolchildren using fruit juice

PARENTS are being warned after children are reportedly using fruit juice to create "false positives" on COVID-19 tests.

Kids have taken to social media channels, including TikTok, to demonstrate how the acid breaks the test and produces a positive result. It is believed children at schools across the country have used drinks like orange juice to make it appear they have the deadly virus.

Gateacre School in Belle Vale, Liverpool, asked pupils in years 7, 8, 9 and 10 not to attend this week as some students tested positive, but there is no evidence they used fruit juice to create the "false positive".

The school did warn parents to be "vigilant" though, after becoming aware of the trend nationally.

The email, which was seen by Liverpool Echo, read: "Nationally, some school students have discovered that placing droplets of orange juice or other fruit juice on an LFD test gets a false 'positive' result.

"In light of this, can you be extra vigilant when your child is doing their LFD tests. Also, remind them that a positive LFD test must be followed by a confirmatory PCR test."

S&P/Case-Shiller released the monthly Home Price Indices for April ("April" is a 3 month average of February, March and April prices). This release includes prices for 20 individual cities, two composite indices (for 10 cities and 20 cities) and the monthly National index.

U.S. single-family home prices in 20 key urban markets rose in April from a year earlier by the most in over 15 years, a closely watched survey said on Tuesday. The S&P/Case Shiller composite index of 20 metropolitan areas gained 14.9% through the 12 months ended in April, the largest annual price increase since December 2005. A Reuters poll of economists had forecast a 14.5% increase. On month-to-month basis, the 20-city composite index rose 1.6% from March. Economists polled by Reuters had been expecting a 1.7% increase. Home prices have surged nationwide in large part due to limited supply.

Last week, the Commerce Department reported that sales of new U.S. single-family homes fell to one-year low in May as expensive raw materials such as lumber continue to increase prices of newly constructed houses. read more Also, the National Association of Realtors said sales of previously owned homes fell for a fourth consecutive month in May.

An adviser to the Pentagon’s Counter-Extremism Working Group (CEWG) is warning the Biden administration’s efforts to purge the military of “extremists” could violate individual First Amendment rights.

Mike Berry, general counsel for First Liberty Institute and Marine Corps reservist, first sounded the alarm in a recent op-ed that said the CEWG is looking to formulate a new definition of extremism that could include constitutionally protected speech.

He wrote in the Washington Examiner on June 19:

Instead of monitoring external threats, the Pentagon is on a mission to identify and remove whomever it labels as extremists from America’s armed forces. Ironically, the CEWG has yet to define what it means by ‘extremism.’ Extremism is usually defined as the threat or use of violence to achieve an ideological agenda. But the Pentagon is now poised to expand upon that definition to include constitutionally protected speech. In other words, sticks and stones may break our bones, but words are the biggest threat.

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin set up the Counter-Extremism Working Group (CEWG) in April after vowing to root out extremists and ordering the entire military force to spend a day discussing “extremism.” Since there is no Pentagon definition for “extremism,” Austin tasked the CEWG, led by Bishop Garrison, to come up with a definition and to define activities that would be considered “extremist.”

Berry, who is part of an outside group of experts appointed to help the CEWG, told Breitbart News in a recent phone interview some of the things the group discussed on a recent hour-long conference call were “eyebrow raising or alarming.” He said members of the advisory group are bound by “Chatham House rules” in where they can discuss what was said on the call, but not who said it.

Berry said he asked the CEWG how it intended to define “extremism” and the answer he got was something to the effect of: “We’re still working on that, we’ll probably take the existing definition and expand it.” Berry said that response was “problematic.”

“The existing definition — which has been around for years and has developed really through a law enforcement perspective — it seems to be pretty adequate,” he said. “It sufficiently captures what needs to be captured. And if they want to expand it, they’re really going to expand it to things that have been traditionally protected by the Constitution.”

As Breitbart News recently reported, a senior Biden administration official said on a background conference call with reporters that the Pentagon was working “quite hard” to come up with a definition that “ratchets up the protections but also respects expression and association protections.”

Berry said he was also alarmed by what sounds like a plan to monitor service members’ social media accounts for signs of extremism — which he feels crosses the line between defining extremism by one’sactions— which the Pentagon has said it would stick to — and defining extremism by one’s “thoughts or beliefs.”

“I just don’t know how you can reconcile the Constitution with trying to criminalize someone’s thoughts and beliefs,” he said. Berry added questions were raised about it and there was no adequate answer.

“When somebody asked how does DOD intend to reconcile the social media monitoring with First Amendment issues, the response was, ‘Yeah, we need to figure that out, it’s really complicated.’ So then why are you looking to do it when you haven’t even figured it out, the legality of it?” Berry said.

He said he does not know about any current effort to monitor social media posts and that the group just discussed future plans to do so.

The Intercept recently reported the Pentagon was considering using private contractors to monitor service members’ social media accounts to circumvent First Amendment concerns, but the Pentagon denied the report was true.

In addition, Berry said monitoring social media accounts sounds like an “intelligence collection type activity,” which is problematic since the Defense Department cannot conduct intelligence collection on U.S. citizens.

He revealed one hypothetical discussed on the call for how social media information could be used — if a service member was found to have an “88” tattoo — which could potentially stand for “Heil Hitler,” since “h” is the 8th letter of the alphabet, or refer to something benign, such as someone’s birth year.

Participants speculated that if the service member denied it was linked to white supremacy, social media could be used to “cross-reference” the claim. Berry said the notion that a service member would have to effectively prove his or her innocence was odd.

“The social media monitoring thing really reminds me of what China does with its social credit system,” he said. ......
