Anons, I started digging on Gretchen Whitmer governor of Michigan and WOW this chick was born into it. Her step father Donald Riesig is very interesting. Check out the Ukraine connection.

In 1976, Donald entered private practice with the law firm of Sinas, Dramis, Brake, Boughton, McIntyre and Reisig; however his public service was not over. Between 1988/9 he served as President of the State Bar of Michigan. In 1989 he was asked by then Governor James Blanchard to serve as Michigan Director of Drug Agencies. In 1995, upon the fall of the Iron Curtain, at the request of the American Bar Association, he served as a legal liaison to the former Soviet countries of Ukraine and Georgia to assist in converting the legal systems of those newly independent states to the rule of law.

In 1996, Donald again left retirement to become Director of Legal Affairs for the Central Michigan Legal Services Agency, serving to meet the needs of the indigent in obtaining essential legal services. Thereafter, he was asked by the Judges of the 30th Judicial Circuit to serve as administrator of the newly created Juvenile Division of the court which included responsibilities as Friend of the Court where he served until 2007.

Donald is survived by his wife, Carol Ann Keyes Reisig; three children, Chris Ward Reisig (Rory) of Williamston, Deborah Engstrom (Mark) of Okemos, and Charles Reisig of Tucson, AZ; four grandchildren, Daniel Viaches (Laura) of Indianapolis, IN, Matthew Viaches (Lisa) of Carmel, IN, Kristi Viaches of New York City and Dalton Reisig of Tucson, AZ; stepchildren, Gretchen Whitmer of East Lansing, Elizabeth Geraghty of New York, Richard Whitmer Jr. of Lansing, Kristin M. Democrat Governor Pritzker Says Citizens in Illinois Could be Ordered to Socially Distance, Wear Masks Indefinitely (VIDEO)

Illinois Governor J. B. Pritzker has the state in lockdown and businesses shut down until the end of May.

On Sunday, the crazed Democrat governor told CNN’s “State of the Union” host Jake Tapper that the citizens of Illinois could be ordered to socially distance and wear masks indefinitely.

There is no end in sight.

In fact, Priztker believes all people living in Illinois should obey his authoritarian orders until the Coronavirus is ‘eradicated.’

The Coronavirus will always exist so Pritzker wants his state living in fear with people ‘socially distancing’ (Marxism) and wearing masks forever.

“Phase IV is just the phase before we would have a vaccine, assuming we maybe never get a vaccine, we’ll have to deal with hopefully a treatment that will come along that will be very effective, but even without that, everyone’s going to have to wear a mask,” said Pritzker. “We’re still going to have to socially distance. The truth is that Coronavirus is still out there.”

“It hasn’t gone anywhere. And so we all are going to have to change the way we do things until we’re able to eradicate it. If the Chicago Tribune thinks everything will go back to complete normal without us having an effective treatment or a vaccine, they’re just dead wrong,” Pritzker concluded.

Billionaire Governor Pritzker recently sent his wife and kids to Florida during the state stay-at-home orders.

Pritzker is the latest Democrat leader to get caught breaking the very rules he set for the people of his state.

When confronted on his family’s Florida trip, Pritzker told the reporter, “In politics it used to be we kept our families out of it. Yeah, my official duties have nothing to do with my family. So, I’m just not going to answer that question.”

The manipulation of the Flynn 302 took place a couple weeks after the initial interview.

The Special Agent notes that Flynn wasn’t sure he spoke to Kislyak on the UN vote.

The 302 says different.

Grenell announces creation of intelligence community 'cyber executive'

Acting Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Richard Grenell on Friday announced the creation of an intelligence community (IC) “cyber executive” as part of other organizational changes.

According to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), the new position will “provide a single ODNI focus point for the cyber mission, which will strengthen the IC’s cyber posture to better defend U.S. national security interests.”

The cyber executive position will oversee four consolidated, previously separate ODNI cyber-focused organizations.

The ODNI did not immediately respond to The Hill’s request for comment on which four organizations would be combined, or whether an individual had been selected to fill the position.

The creation of the IC cyber executive comes after more than a year of staff and leadership review of organizational changes, according to the ODNI.

Other changes announced by Grenell on Friday included the establishment of the “Director’s Advisor for Military Affairs” position. This individual will serve as Grenell’s principal adviser for defense issues, and is intended to boost the ODNI’s efforts to collaborate with the Department of Defense.

The changes will also eliminate the ODNI’s Directorate of National Security Partnerships and transfer its functions to other ODNI offices. The group was tasked with coordinating IC and defense intelligence operations, among other duties.

The new changes come more than a month after Grenell appointed new leaders for the National Counterterrorism Center, and the same week the Senate confirmed William Evanina as director of the National Counterterrorism and Security Center.

Grenell, who was appointed to the position of acting DNI in February by President Trump after the resignation of former acting DNI Joseph Maguire, has faced pushback during his leadership for changes made.

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) sharply rebuked Grenell’s changes in an April letter, taking issue with the fact that many organizational changes were made without consulting Congress, among several other concerns. Grenell later pushed back against Schiff’s concerns.

A House Intelligence Committee official told The Hill on Friday that the committee is "assessing the proposed changes" from Grenell, and "will be examining both the operational and budgetary impact of any such changes."

"The Senate and House Intelligence Committees both requested that ODNI consult with the Committees before making any significant organizational changes like those announced today," the official said. "This is particularly important as there are no Senate confirmed personnel running the ODNI and the acting Director lacks relevant experience."

"That the current leadership at ODNI would choose to do so anyway, and at a time when the President has nominated a new Director, demonstrates both a lack of confidence in the nominee and contempt for the oversight process," the official added.

It is unclear how long Grenell will continue to lead the ODNI. Trump nominated Rep. John Ratcliffe (R-Texas) for the DNI position in February, and the Senate Intelligence Committee held a nomination hearing for Ratcliffe earlier this week.

The Military Commission convened for the first time on May 8 in a newly-created courtroom on the third floor of the Old Arsenal Penitentiary in Washington. The rules of the Commission made the position of the defendants even more grave: conviction could come on a simple majority vote and a majority of two-thirds could impose the death sentence. Over the course of the next seven weeks, the Commission would hear from 371 witnesses. After the brief clip aired, Todd remarked that he was "struck by the cynicism of the answer - it's a correct answer, but he's the attorney general. He didn't make the case that he was upholding the rule of law. He was almost admitting that, yeah, this was a political job."

In the full clip, which the NBC show did not air, Barr immediately went on to state explicitly that, in fact, he felt the Flynn decision upheld the rule of law.

"I think a fair history would say it was a good decision because it upheld the rule of law," Barr said. "It upheld the standards of the Department of Justice, and it undid what was an injustice."

The Daily Caller's Greg Price had called out the edit earlier Sunday.

"Very disappointed by the deceptive editing/commentary by @ChuckTodd on @MeetThePress on AG Barr’s CBS interview," DOJ spokeswoman Kerri Kupec wrote. "Compare the two transcripts below. Not only did the AG make the case in the VERY answer Chuck says he didn’t, he also did so multiple times throughout the interview."

In response, the "Meet the Press" Twitter account posted: "You’re correct. Earlier today, we inadvertently and inaccurately cut short a video clip of an interview with AG Barr before offering commentary and analysis. The remaining clip included important remarks from the attorney general that we missed, and we regret the error."

"'Inadvertently strikes again!'" tweeted independent journalist Mike Cernovich.

But, the show did not say it would apologize on-air. NBC News did not respond to Fox News' request for information about an on-air apology, either.

"A tweet in no way covers the error," wrote The Federalist's Mollie Hemingway. "A lot of people are rightly angry at @chucktodd for willfully lying about AG Barr’s comments on rule of law — but @JoeNBC also did it days ago. These intentional lies in service of false narratives have gone on for years. Infuriating." (That was a reference, in part, to NBC's Joe Scarborough sharing a debunked, deceptively edited clip of Vice President Mike Pence handling boxes of PPE.)

Blogger Jim Treacher and journalist Tim Pool were among many other influential commentators explicitly seeking an on-air apology.

On the recommendation of U.S. Attorney Jeff Jensen, who served as an FBI agent for more than a decade, the Justice Department on Thursday moved to drop its case against Flynn. The stunning development came after internal memos were released raising serious questions about the nature of the investigation that led to Flynn’s late 2017 guilty plea of lying to the FBI as his legal fees mounted.

Last month, a drone flew around New York City and instructed people to practice proper social distancing guidelines. Drones have been used by police departments in San Diego and Connecticut to warn people of the dangers of the novel coronavirus. State and local entities around the country are using drones manufactured and donated by Chinese company DJI for coronavirus distancing enforcement. In Singapore, they have a four-legged, dog-like robot equipped with cameras that patrols a park during the COVID-19 pandemic to remind people to social distance.

A robot named "Spot" is patrolling Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park to tell people to practice social distancing by broadcasting a recorded message. The robot is equipped with sensors and cameras, plus it features 3D-mapping and video analytics developed by GovTech that allow it to estimate the number of visitors in the park. Singapore said that the cameras on the robot would not track people or use facial recognition.

Spot is controlled remotely and can walk on paths as well as in the grass. Spot can venture in wooded areas that flying drones might have difficulty operating in.

All have used the pandemic as a pretext for curtailing constitutional rights

Abraham Lincoln is frequently credited with the following aphorism: “Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man’s character, give him power.” These words may well have been misattributed to the Great Emancipator, but their wisdom is difficult to dispute. Indeed, during the past two months, the nation’s Democratic governors have clearly demonstrated that the temporary possession of emergency powers can unmask the hidden tyrant in even the most unremarkable politician. Virtually all have overreached their legitimate mandates, and few show any inclination to relinquish their newfound authority. This has not only produced widespread protests but has also led to dozens of constitutional lawsuits.

These governors behave as if they recognize no legal boundaries. Consequently, the voters have sought to correct them. New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy (D), for example, is the defendant in at least two federal lawsuits, including a challenge to his prohibition of religious services in the Garden State. Rabbi Yisrael A. Knopfler of Lakewood has joined Rev. Kevin Robinson in a lawsuit that points out the obvious fact that “churches and synagogues can easily accommodate the kind of social distancing that keeps some commercial businesses open.” Murphy doesn’t care. Indeed, he refuses to provide the voters with a target date for lifting his “indefinite” lockdown.

This high-handed attitude is not limited to Gov. Murphy, of course. Nor is he alone in being sued pursuant to interference with religious services. A federal lawsuit was filed against Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) by Brooklyn lawyer Lee Nigen, who vehemently objects to Cuomo’s threat to use law enforcement personnel to coerce compliance with his ban on large gatherings — including religious congregations. As Nigen’s attorney told the New York Post, “Clearly, there is a grave public health emergency.… But lawful process matters and emergency orders of this sort, if left unchallenged, will evolve into precedents with horrifying consequences.”

The lockdown order issued by Gov. Walz isn’t limited to violations of the First and Fourteenth Amendment rights of the plaintiffs — it’s utterly incoherent.

Nor are such infringements limited to lockdowns in the Northeast. Further down the coast, in Virginia, one such incident was so egregious that the Department of Justice (DOJ) has filed papers in the Fourth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in support of Pastor Kevin Wilson of the Lighthouse Fellowship Church on Chincoteague Island. Pastor Wilson was served a summons for holding a Palm Sunday service on April 5 and has been threatened with jail and a $2,500 fine. He subsequently filed a federal lawsuit against Gov. Ralph Northam (D). The DOJ’s submission noted, “There is no pandemic exception to the Constitution and its Bill of Rights.” This point was evidently overlooked by Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D), who has been sued by a coalition of religious and secular organizations:

Worshipers across Minnesota have been prohibited from assembling to celebrate Easter and the Passover, while liquor stores have remained open. Target, Walmart, Walgreens, and CVS are open, while local Hallmark stores are closed. Golf courses and bait shops are open, but indoor amusement facilities are shut. Nobody can legally get a haircut, but dogs may now be groomed. Businesses in Minnesota have been forced to carry rent obligations … without income.

All have used the pandemic as a pretext for curtailing constitutional rights

Perhaps it was the same substance that inspired California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) to suddenly order Orange County beaches closed on May 2, despite a very low COVID-19 fatality rate. As the Mayor of Newport Beach, Orange County, wrote, “Gov. Newsom decided to substitute his will for our judgment.” Similarly capricious nonsense is why Newsom is the defendant in several federal and state lawsuits.

Three California churches have jointly filed a federal lawsuit claiming that the Golden State governor’s shelter-in-place order violates their First Amendment religious protections. At least seven small businesses have also sued Newsom on the basis that the orders violate their civil liberties. This pattern is repeated over and over again in states with Democratic governors. Innumerable lawsuits have been filed against Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers, North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper, Illinois Gov. J. B. Pritzker, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont, Washington Gov. Jay Inslee, Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak, Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear, Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards, ad nauseam.

All of these defendants have four things in common: They are Democratic governors, they have used the COVID-19 pandemic as a pretext to arrogate illegitimate authority, none will voluntarily relinquish their newfound power, and all have committed multiple violations of the Constitution. By the standards of the above-quoted aphorism, all have been found sorely wanting in the kind of character intrinsic to genuine leaders. All deserve the utter contempt of the voters who elected them to office.

The claim was tailor-made for President Donald Trump’s most steadfast backers: Federal guidelines are coaching doctors to mark COVID-19 as the cause of death even when it is not, inflating the pandemic’s death toll.

That the claim came from a doctor, Scott Jensen, who also happens to be a Republican state senator in Minnesota, made it all the more alluring to the president’s allies. Never mind the experts who said that, if anything, the death toll was being vastly undercounted.

“SHOCKING,” tweeted Chris Berg, a conservative television show host on KX4, a Fox affiliate in Fargo, North Dakota, after interviewing Jensen last month. Soon after, Laura Ingraham, the Fox News host, invited Jensen onto her show. His assertions were picked up by Infowars, the conspiracy-oriented website founded by Alex Jones. They were shared by followers of Qanon, who subscribe to a web of vague, baseless theories that a secret cabal in the government is trying to take down the president.

“What is the primary benefit to keep public in mass-hysteria re: COVID-19? Think voting. Are you awake yet?” a Qanon follower known as John the White wrote on Twitter, saying the pandemic was being used to manipulate the electorate.

The likes of John the White may view the world through the most conspiratorial of lenses, but they are hardly the only people weighing the political impact of the virus’s death toll. With implications for how quickly businesses and their employees return to something like normalcy, the fight to shape the official record is adding a grim new front to the presidential campaign.

Most Wanted Fugitive Captured in Mexico, Brought Back to Texas

Jeffrey Winston Forrest (CAPTURE)Washington, DC - The manhunt for a U.S. Marshals 15 Most Wanted fugitive ended Friday with the arrest in Mexico of Jeffrey Winston Forrest, 47, wanted by the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department in Abilene, Texas, for two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child, bail jumping, and failure to appear.

According to a Zapopan police release, Forrest was arrested Friday afternoon by members of the State Attorney’s Office, Zapopan Police Department, and the National Institute of Immigration (INM). He was located in a drive-through store in Zapopan, Jalisco, after his presence and identity were confirmed with the existing alert in the U.S.

Forrest was deported today and brought back to the Northern District of Texas, where he will answer the charges against him.

Forrest’s capture in Mexico is a direct result of information that was developed from a tip that was provided to “In Pursuit with John Walsh” on Investigation Discovery after the show profiled the case.

In 2015, charges were filed against Forrest when four victims came forward and accused him of sexually assaulting them. The victims stated Forrest repeatedly assaulted them from the ages of 8 to 15. Investigators believe he used his position as a youth minister at several different churches to gain access and groom his victims. On April 2, 2015, Forrest was arrested on two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child. Following his arrest, Forrest was released on bond and a trial date was set for Aug. 29, 2016. Unfortunately, he failed to appear for his trial, and after an investigation into his disappearance, authorities determined he never intended to.

While investigators found credible evidence of his travel to Mexico, his trail had grown cold due to his use and knowledge of the dark web and communication software such as Tor to mask his digital footprint.

NEW YORK — Marketing-savvy New York City drug dealers have seized on the COVID-19 pandemic, selling heroin in glassine packets stamped with the word “coronavirus” next to a biohazard symbol.

Authorities busted a Bronx heroin/fentanyl packaging mill they say produced more than $1 million worth of individual dose envelopes stamped “coronavirus,” “24 Black Mamba,” “Hiroshima,” “Isis,” “Antrax” and “95.”

The top Republican on the House Intelligence Committee said the FBI's original interview summary with retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn is "missing." California Rep. Devin Nunes said top FBI officials and other sources told lawmakers behind closed doors that the bureau did not believe Flynn lied when interviewed by two agents in January 2017. "The original report that was used to brief the United States Congress, that report is missing. It's gone, poof, we can't find it," Nunes told Fox Business anchor Maria Bartiromo on Fox News's Sunday Morning Futures. Nunes said he was shocked to learn later that leaks to the media saying Flynn was "being busted" for lying about his contacts with a Russian envoy during the presidential transition period.

Flynn, who briefly served as President Trump's first national security adviser, pleaded guilty in 2017 to lying to the FBI about his conversations with Russia’s ambassador to the United States but later declared his innocence and argued he was set up by the FBI. The Justice Department filed to dismiss its criminal case against Flynn on Thursday, leaving it up to a federal judge overseeing the case to make the final determination on whether to dismiss it. The Justice Department said in a court filing that after reviewing newly disclosed materials, it agreed with Flynn’s attorneys that his interview with the FBI should never have taken place because his conversations with the Russian diplomat were "entirely appropriate." Sidney Powell, Flynn's lead attorney, said later on Sunday Morning Futures that the defense team has the raw notes from Flynn's interview but not the FBI summary, known as a "302," which was what Nunes said is nowhere to be found. Both Nunes and Powell also noted that text messages between former FBI officials Peter Strzok, one of the agents who interviewed Flynn, and former FBI lawyer Lisa Page show they "doctored" the summary.

A spokesperson on Sunday denied Vice President Pence is in "quarantine" just days after a member of his team tested positive for the coronavirus. Joseph Lengyel, the chief of the National Guard Bureau, "tested positive for COVID Saturday afternoon but a subsequent test Saturday was negative. He will undergo a third test on Monday morning to confirm his negative status."

Abstract

The novel SARS coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 pandemic may be particularly deleterious to patients with underlying cardiovascular disease (CVD). The mechanism for SARS-CoV-2 infection is the requisite binding of the virus to the membrane-bound form of angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) and internalization of the complex by the host cell. Recognition that ACE2 is the coreceptor for the coronavirus has prompted new therapeutic approaches to block the enzyme or reduce its expression to prevent the cellular entry and SARS-CoV-2 infection in tissues that express ACE2 including lung, heart, kidney, brain, and gut. ACE2, however, is a key enzymatic component of the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system (RAAS); ACE2 degrades ANG II, a peptide with multiple actions that promote CVD, and generates Ang-(1-7), which antagonizes the effects of ANG II. Moreover, experimental evidence suggests that RAAS blockade by ACE inhibitors, ANG II type 1 receptor antagonists, and mineralocorticoid antagonists, as well as statins, enhance ACE2 which, in part, contributes to the benefit of these regimens. In lieu of the fact that many older patients with hypertension or other CVDs are routinely treated with RAAS blockers and statins, new clinical concerns have developed regarding whether these patients are at greater risk for SARS-CoV-2 infection, whether RAAS and statin therapy should be discontinued, and the potential consequences of RAAS blockade to COVID-19-related pathologies such as acute and chronic respiratory disease. The current perspective critically examines the evidence for ACE2 regulation by RAAS blockade and statins, the cardiovascular benefits of ACE2, and whether ACE2 blockade is a viable approach to attenuate COVID-19.

Eleven years after Bill Gates and Barack Obama began forcing schools around the country to adopt Common Core, students are now recording results lower than previously thought possible, with staggering declines in average math and reading scores.

Teachers have been coming forward with results for years to prove the controversial teaching method is a failure, and significantly less effective than traditional teaching methods.

Now the new international study by the Pioneer Institute backs them up. Released in late April, the study reveals huge drops in math and reading scores since Common Core was fully enacted in 2013. This was after decades of consistent growth in both categories.

“Breaking with decades of slow improvement, U.S. reading and math scores on the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) and other assessments have seen historic declines since most states implemented national Common Core English and math curriculum standards six years ago,” a statement on the Pioneer Institute’s website read.

“While Common Core was promoted as improving the international competitiveness of U.S. students in math, our international standing has remained low while the skills of average and lower performing American students have dropped in reading,” it said.

How bad have things become? Only 10 percent of eighth-grade American students now score at an “advanced” level in math, according to the international study.

While we’re technically in the middle rank of countries worldwide, we are now closer to the lower end of the scale (Turkey’s 6% and the United Arab Emirates‘ 5%) than to the top nations (Singapore at 54%, South Korea at 43%).

Kazakhstan (15%) and Hungary (12%) are also beating us in that category.

Since Common Core’s full implementation in 2013, “average scores have generally declined and remain at a level that is statistically significantly lower than before Common Core,” the Pioneer Institute found in the study.

“Nationally, fourth- and eighth-grade NAEP math scores were rising gradually in the years before Common Core was implemented (2003-2013). Post-Common Core, scores at both grades have fallen, eighth grade at nearly the same rate as it was previously increasing,” the group said in its news release.

Parents and teachers across the nation have been urging schools to dump the toxic Common Core curriculum, arguing that it deliberately dumbs down children and creates unnecessary and complicated methods for working out relatively simple problems.

“The declines are most acute for the lowest-achieving students, increasing inequality,” the Pioneer Institute found.

“Scores for students at the 90th percentile have mostly continued their pre-Common Core trend of gradual improvement. But the farther behind students were, the more substantial the declines, with the biggest drops occurring for those at the 25th and 10th percentiles.”

It’s a similar story when it comes to reading.

“U.S. students fare better in reading than they do in math when compared to international competitors, but U.S. reading trends are similar to those seen in math, with gradual pre-Common Core improvement replaced by declines after Common Core was implemented,” the news release read.

“From 2003 to 2013, national fourth- and eighth-grade reading scores were increasing at an average of about half of a point each year. Since 2013, fourth-grade reading scores have been falling by less than half of a point each year, while eighth-grade scores have dropped by nearly a full point a year.”

“The sustained decline we’re now seeing, especially among our most vulnerable students, simply cannot be allowed to continue,” Theodor Rebarber, author of the study, said.

“Several of us allied with Pioneer Institute have been pointing out, ever since it was introduced, the deeply flawed educational assumptions that permeate the Common Core and the many ways in which it is at odds with curriculum standards in top-achieving countries.”

Part of this, the news release says, “is a product of the misguided progressive pedagogies and biases of the education establishment that developed it.”

And this is the problem with Common Core: There was always a political element to it.

As the Pioneer Institute study said, “the design of the Common Core math standards assumed and promoted certain flawed progressive instructional assumptions and dogmas. Since the math standards generally rejected the proven approach of high-achieving Asian countries, the final Common Core standards no longer claimed to be ‘internationally benchmarked’ and indicated instead that they were merely ‘internationally informed.’”

English standards were even more problematic.

“The Common Core English standards also incorporated key progressive elements, such as a reduction in challenging, classic literary content and its replacement with simpler informational text supposedly intended to align with a student’s future activities in the workforce,” the study found.

This is Common Core, folks. Thanks to Bill Gates and the Obama administration’s insistence on a national set of standards — which, of course, had progressive elements baked into them — we’ve seen math and reading scores collapse through the floor.

The more Big Government gets involved in education, forcing flawed progressive assumptions and dogmas into the curriculum, the worse the outcome for our children.

The scary thing for American parents shouldn’t be Common Core, though. It should be whatever ends up replacing it.

Instead of apologizing, Bill Gates is already working with the state of New York to radically change the post-coronavirus future of education in the state.

It’s going to take a lot more than acknowledging Common Core’s failure to make up for the years of classroom chaos that the Gates/Obama curriculum inflicted on many teachers and students without their consent.

After the devastating failure of Common Core, it is hard to accept that Bill Gates should be given the opportunity to have any say in the way our children are educated in the future.

A direct apology and a promise to stay away from our kids and their education in the future would be a start.

Joseph Alsop (b. 1910),and his younger brother Stewart Alsop (b.1914) were both known for their work as political journalists for the New York Herald Tribune, the Saturday Evening Post, and Newsweek. Their mother, Corinne Robinson Alsop, was Eleanor Roosevelt's first cousin, and the Alsops maintained a relationship with the first lady until her death in 1962, despite sometimes breaking with her publicly over political issues. After graduating from Harvard, Joseph joined the New York Herald Tribune's Washington bureau as a reporter where he remained through the war. His brother, on the other hand, worked in publishing following the completion of his studies at Yale and in 1944 joined the Office of Strategic Services. Joseph and Stewart partnered after the war to produce their famous "Matter of Fact" column, which they wrote jointly from 1946 to 1958. It was during this period that the Alsop brothers earned the recognition and level of circulation (at one point their column was the most heavily syndicated in the United States) that made them, alongside other notables like Walter Lippmann, two of the most important political newspapermen of the twentieth century. Although Stewart left the New York Herald Tribune for the more liberal Saturday Evening Post and then for Newsweek, his brother continued to produce the syndicated opinion column. While Stewart was more liberal than Joseph, he nonetheless characterized both himself and his brother as "New Deal liberals," despite Joseph's affiliation with the Republican party and his support for conservative foreign policies, including the war in Vietnam.

Stewart Alsop, the son of Joseph Wright Alsop (1876–1953) and his wife Corinne Douglas Robinson (1886–1971), was born in Avon, Connecticut, on 17th May, 1914. His older brother was Joseph Alsop. He attended Groton School and Harvard University. After leaving university he moved to New York City where he worked as an editor for the publishing house of Doubleday.

After the United States entered the Second World War Alsop was rejected by the United States Army because of high blood pressure. Desperate to play his part he went to England and joined the British Army. While serving in the army he met and married Patricia Hankey. Alsop eventually joined the Special Operations Executive (SOE).

In July 1944, and Thomas Braden went to work with Allen Dulles at the Office of Strategic Services (OSS). Soon afterwards he was parachuted into the Périgord region of France to aid the French Resistance. Alsop later recalled: "Going behind enemy lines, according to the rules of warfare, is not a task which one man can command another to do. Perhaps one tenth of the men who were in OSS saw service behind the lines, but all of them who did so volunteered to do so, and the volunteers knew no bounds of money or political belief." In 1953 the brothers helped out Edward Lansdale and the CIA in the Philippines: "Wisner actively courted the Alsops, along with a few other newsmen he regarded as suitable outlets. When Lansdale was manipulating electoral politics in the Philippines in 1953, Wisner asked Joe Alsop to write some columns warning the Filipinos not to steal the election from Magsaysay. A Westpac spokesperson said a tech team was working urgently to fix the issue and apologised for the inconvenience.

The issue was identified shortly before 2pm on Monday.

President Trump on Sunday intensified his criticism of former President Obama by tying him to the Michael Flynn investigation and blasting his predecessor's recent criticism aimed at his administration's coronavirus response.

Last week, Attorney General William Barr’s Justice Department dismissed the case against Flynn, Trump's first national security adviser, which was seen as the key prosecution from Robert Mueller’s investigation into the Trump campaign.

Trump, along with other Republicans, seized on the decision and framed it as an example of a Democrat-manufactured plot to remove him from office.

Trump retweeted Eli Lake, a columnist at Bloomberg, who said he has been reviewing the interview transcripts that were recently released in the collusion investigation. Lake wrote, “It’s now clear why every Republican on [Rep. Adam Schiff’s] committee in 2019 called for his resignation. He knew the closed door witnesses didn’t support his innuendo and fakery on Russia collusion.”

Sidney Powell, one of Flynn’s lawyers, told Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures,” that FBI agents did their best to hide their investigation and attempted to entrap Flynn. She mentioned a meeting on Jan. 5, 2017 at the White House that included Obama, then-FBI Director James Comey, then-Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and former CIA Director John Brennan.

Powell said the “whole thing was orchestrated and set up within the FBI, Clapper, Brennan and in the Oval Office meeting that day with President Obama,” she told Maria Bartiromo, the anchor.

Bartiromo asked Powell if she believed the scandal reached up to Obama, and Powell responded, “Absolutely.”

“The evidence against General Flynn is overwhelming. He pleaded guilty to lying to investigators. And now a politicized and thoroughly corrupt Department of Justice is going to let the president’s crony simply walk away,” he said in a statement.

Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about two separate contacts he had with a former Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak.

Rep. Jim Jordan, the ranking member of the House Oversight Committee, told Fox News last week that Comey displayed “arrogance” and “ego” with the way he spoke about the Flynn case. The department said its continued prosecution of Flynn would “not serve the interests of justice.”

Trump said that Flynn was innocent and was targeted in an attempt to take down his presidency. He told reporters that he was unaware that the DOJ was going to drop its case.

“I felt it was going to happen just by watching and seeing, like everybody else does. He was an innocent man. He is a great gentleman. He was targeted by the Obama administration and he was targeted in order to try and take down a president,” he said.

Trump continued, “What they’ve done is a disgrace and I hope a big price is going to be paid. A big price should be paid. There’s never been anything like this in the history of our country. What they did, what the Obama administration did, is unprecedented. It’s never happened. Never happened. A thing like this has never happened.”

Andrew McCarthy, a former federal prosecutor, told Fox News’ “The Next Revolution” Sunday that the FBI likely feared that Flynn would uncover illegitimacies surrounding the origin of the Russia probe.

"I think the best way to look at this is what the FBI and the Obama Administration wanted to do here was really audacious if you think about it in terms of the idea of trying to continue an investigation after a new president has come into power and is in a position to shut down the investigation - when the president ultimately is the target of the investigation," McCarthy said.

Obama told 3,000 members of the Obama Alumni Association that the Trump administration was woefully inept in dealing with the coronavirus outbreak.

“It would have been bad even with the best of governments. It has been an absolute chaotic disaster when that mindset — of ‘what’s in it for me’ and ‘to heck with everybody else’ — when that mindset is operationalized in our government,” he said.

Trump has insisted that his administration was correct in banning flights from China early on in the outbreak, despite being condemned in some segments of the media.

Larry Kudlow, his national economic council director, told ABC News’ “This Week with George Stephanopolous” that he did not want to engage in a political back and forth with the former president, but said Trump has worked well in incorporating the private sector and parts of the government in the response.

“I don’t understand what President Obama is saying. It just sounds so darn political to me. Look, what we have done may not be 100 percent perfect. These things happen once every 100 years,” Kudlow said.

German Intel: China Told WHO to Hide Human-to-Human Coronavirus Transmission in Jan

The Chinese Communist Party forced the World Health Organization (WHO) to refrain from notifying the world about human-to-human transmission of the novel coronavirus, causing a “four to six-week delay in fighting” the virus, according to Germany’s Federal Intelligence Service.

The recently-released report corroborates the Trump administration’s narrative that China purposely withheld this critical information, delaying the world’s ability to respond: “According to the BND, China has urged the World Health Organization (WHO) to delay a global warning after the outbreak of the virus at the highest level. It’s also the latest proof of WHO’s subservience to the CCP, sacrificing global health by acquiescing to Beijing’s demands.

Roughly one week after WHO assisted in the CCP-led cover up, they praised China’s “transparency” in a now-debunked statement from the body’s director, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus:

“We appreciate the seriousness with which China is taking this outbreak, especially the commitment from top leadership, and the transparency they have demonstrated, including sharing data and genetic sequence of the virus. WHO is working closely with the government on measures to understand the virus and limit transmission. WHO will keep working side-by-side with China and all other countries to protect health and keep people safe.”

And Dr. Tedros is a repeat offender when it comes to covering up infectious disease outbreaks.

Even The New York Times wrote in 2017 that he helped with “covering up three cholera epidemics in his home country, Ethiopia, when he was health minister — a charge that could seriously undermine his campaign to run the agency.”

His actions were straight from Beijing’s playbook: “China denied for months in 2003 that it had a serious outbreak of lethal respiratory disease in its southern cities. That outbreak ultimately became known as SARS, for severe acute respiratory syndrome, and spread to several other countries, including Canada,” the article also noted.

While establishment media outlets have covered Germany’s findings, they’ve willfully ignored this incriminating discovery. Unsurprisingly, they’ve amplified the only portion of the report that conflicts with the US intelligence, the theory that coronavirus originated in a Wuhan laboratory.

POTUS declared a NATIONAL EMERGENCY after ALL 50 states had declared a state of emergency.

Typically, initial treatment consists of high doses of aspirin and immunoglobulin.[1] Usually, with treatment, fever resolves within 24 hours and full recovery occurs.[1] If the coronary arteries are involved, ongoing treatment or surgery may occasionally be required.[1] Without treatment, coronary artery aneurysms occur in up to 25% and about 1% die.[3][7] With treatment, the risk of death is reduced to 0.17%.[7]

Kawasaki disease is rare.[1] It affects between 8 and 67 per 100,000 people under the age of five except in Japan, where it affects 124 per 100,000.[5] Boys are more commonly affected than girls.[1] The disorder was first described in 1967 by Tomisaku Kawasaki in Japan.[5][8]
