No matter what country we are from, we are all the same. Those in power make wars if not against each other than against “we the people” to further their power. Those who are against the people always pretend we are too stupid to understand what is best. The definition of tyranny was once limited to the power being concentrated in the hands of one person. These are the real fools today for they think they are in control, but they have been manipulated and cannot see the future they are supporting. The tyranny today is embodied in an unfounded idea of climate change caused by people and the population must be reduced and racism prevails to reduce the races they see as inferior.

History will repeat. Just look at Athens and the rise of democracy which was against people. After losing the Peloponnesian War, Sparta imposed an oligarchy that ruled Athens as a virtual occupying government. Thirty commissioners were appointed to the oligarchy, which was extremists led by Critias. Their oppressive regime fostered a bloody purge, in which perhaps 1,500 residents were killed. Anyone who disagreed with their decrees was arrested just like today for protesting or not wearing a mask. Many moderates fled the city just as we once again are witnessing as people are fleeing New York City and California — i.e., Goldman Sachs moving to Florida & Elon Musk leaving California for Texas. The flight from California promises that the last non-leftist should turn out the lights. Those who fled gathered a force and returned with a vengeance to defeat the tyrants’ forces in a battle at Piraeus in 403 BC. The 30 fled and were killed off over the next few years.

Tyranny is still the cruel, unreasonable, or arbitrary use of power or control, be it in the hands of one or a group of tyrants who see themselves as better than everyone else. These tyrants of today should look to history. They will find themselves chased from their lofty seats of power and will be lucky if they retain their heads.

THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT of Defense has reportedly notified the Central Intelligence Agency that it plans to terminate most of the military support it provides for the spy agency’s counterterrorism operations. Some of these changes may occur as early as January, according to reports published on Thursday in several US news outlets. After the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, the CIA incorporated an increasingly expansive counterterrorist mission into its list of activities. But it has relied on Pentagon resources to support many of these activities, for things like transportation, physical security, logistics, and even execution. The Pentagon’s role in these activities tends to be crucial, given that they usually take place in active combat zones or other dangerous locations around the world. They therefore require heavy military protection.

However, President Trump has been implementing his plan to withdraw American military forces from warzones such as Somalia, Afghanistan and Iraq. These troops provide logistical and material support to CIA missions in some of the world’s most dangerous regions. Additionally, the Department of Defense has been signaling for quite some time its intention to focus less on counterterrorism and more on what experts refer to as “near-peer competitors” —namely China and Russia. According to reports, Acting Defense Secretary Christopher Miller sent a letter to CIA Director Gina Haspel, in which he informs her of the Pentagon’s decision to make drastic changes to its support for the spy agency’s counterterrorism operations. It is believed that some of these changes will take place as early as January 5, 2021. It has also been reported that this decision marks the culmination of a so-called “pet project” of Acting Under-Secretary of Defense for Intelligence Ezra Cohen-Watnick, a Trump political appointee, who was placed in his current position by the president following November’s election.

Observers shoveled abuse upon the unfortunate spectacle, rivaling each other to come up with the most appropriate epithets to describe the appalling scene.

“Mummified Mary,” “Weeble Jesus” (after the ovate children’s toys launched by Hasbro in the 1970s), “Martians,” “toilet paper rolls,” and “astronauts” were some of the comparisons made to the cylindrical figures meant to represent the Holy Family, the Magi, and the shepherds at Bethlehem.

Others saw in one ominous figure the helmeted image of “the Mountain” from the Game of Thrones television series, while another conjured up memories of the Robot from Lost in Space:

As one irate Italian wrote on social media of the Vatican manger scene, “Ugliness is the first thing you notice, followed by a lack of familial warmth and the distancing guaranteed by the cylindrical figures. If you wish to judge harshly, the cylinders call to mind the sacred poles of Satanic cults condemned in the Bible.”

Traditionally, a manger scene is intended to evoke feelings of piety and devotion — not pity and revulsion — over the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem, and thus this particularly regrettable work offends not only aesthetic sensibilities, but also the religious reverence of the faithful.

The Vatican said the Nativity scene exhibited in St. Peter’s Square was created by the students and faculty of the FA Grue Art Institute, a state-run high school for design, which in the decade of 1965-1975 devoted its scholastic activity to the theme of Christmas.

“We believe that this year’s experience of a Nativity scene donated by an Artistic High School is really a powerful summons for everyone to invest more in the training of the new generations both at the level of middle and high schools and for the university world,” said Bishop Lorenzo Leuzzi in a statement guaranteed to garner broad consensus.

Elizabeth Lev, an American art historian living and teaching in Rome, told Breitbart News she thinks the choice was a poor one.

“The Nativity celebrates the Incarnation, God who comes into the world as flesh, not in a totemic form,” Dr. Lev declared. “At the end of this extremely difficult year people are looking for beauty, for something to elevate, inspire, and unite them, and the scene offered in Saint Peter’s Square gives them something else altogether.”

“The misshapen figures in the Nativity scene lack all the grace, proportion, vulnerability, and luminosity that one looks for in the manger scene,” she said. “The entire point of this holiday is the second person of the Holy Trinity taking human form, born as a baby of flesh and blood, and there is nothing particularly human about the forms we see before us.”

“Context is also important and these works are surrounded by Bernini’s majestic colonnade, capped with the monumental figures of the saints, with Saint Peter’s Basilica in the background containing a thousand years of beautiful statuary,” Lev continued.

“It has been a dark year and many have had their faith challenged. Perhaps it would have been better to give them a symbol to rally round rather than an object of mockery,” she said. “This scene leads people to heap derision upon an icon representing the Holy Family. It is unfortunate we couldn’t find something to inspire at least tenderness if not full-on reverence.”

Moreover, Lev concluded, “In the context of last year’s polemics over the Pachamama statue, it seems ill considered to use images that will confuse people and further a sense of division.”

Artist Plans Display Filled with Human Blood to ‘Confront’ Trump Supporters

The display will be erected in Washington, D.C., according to a report by The Hill.

“The use of human blood is required to interrogate the existing political system,” said Andrei Molodkin. “I have questions about why people have to give their blood for an ideology so I say, if you have to give your blood, give it to art or to something that you’re free to choose.”

The artist’s piece, however, may seem bizarre to many Trump supporters, as the president has never gotten the United States involved in a war, unlike his predecessors.

Molodkin, nonetheless, will erect the piece, which features a video of blood pouring through a clear acrylic model of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., and it will be projected onto the windows of CulturalDC’s Source Theater in Washington, D.C.

The gory display reportedly contains real blood from Americans who volunteered to donate to the piece at a church in France.

The so-called artwork, which seeks to confront “the the 73 million Americans who voted to reelect Donald Trump and the ‘blood-soaked system’ of American political power,” is expected to be unveiled on January 1.

I did not connect the dots—until now. Trump has flanked the enemy with the most sophisticated air power on earth.

The Chi-coms move an inch toward America, he can light them up from behind.

When President Trump authorised one million ‘reservists’ to be called up last Spring, we thought it was to send Democrat/Soros/Antifa fascists a message that domestic violence would not be tolerated—but those troops weren’t ordered to report.

Perhaps the ‘call up’ was for something more serious than Momma’s basement-dwelling suburban sleaze who spent too much time at college learning Critical Theory rather than Critical Thinking.

Maybe it was a message to Joe Biden’s handler, Xi Xinping, instead, that Trump does not want to see China rise like the Democrats do—and will see to it that they don’t on his watch.

The UK Navy is preparing to mobilize armed ships against French fishermen if negotiators can't strike a Brexit deal

Four armed ships from the UK Royal Navy are on standby to protect British fisheries from French fishermen, in the event of a no-deal Brexit, according to multiple reports.

The four ships would be authorized to board and impound any French or European fishing vessel within 200 miles of the British shore, according to Reuters.

"The MOD has conducted extensive planning and preparation to ensure that Defense is ready for a range of scenarios at the end of the transition period," a UK government rep said Saturday, according to reports from Reuters and CNN.

The British Royal Navy reportedly has put four of its armed ships on standby to protect its coastal waters from French fishermen, as Brexit talks between the UK and EU continue to focus on territorial rights to the sea between the two countries.

"The MOD has conducted extensive planning and preparation to ensure that Defence is ready for a range of scenarios at the end of the transition period," a representative said Saturday, according to reports from Reuters and CNN.

The rep added: "This preparation includes a standby package of 14,000 personnel to ensure that we are ready to support other government departments and authorities over the winter period, including with the EU transition, Covid-19 and potential severe weather events."

The UK is due to finish its transition out of the EU at the end of the year, with or without a new trade deal. The dispute over fishing areas has been one of three "critical" issues on which EU and UK Brexit negotiators haven't been able to agree, according to a joint statement last weekend from the prime minister, Boris Johnson, and Ursula von der Leyen, European Commission president.

Warsaw and Budapest have denounced the provision as a witch hunt aimed at their socially conservative governments.

- Small batches of votes gratuitously and algorithmically being added to Biden in chosen strongly Democrat precincts, on early and absentee totals only, using a biased number generation out of a small number, which results in many perfect ratios that favor Biden, which occurs more heavily 80% of the way through the count of absentee ballots.

Other likely methods of fraud include:

- Vote fractionalisation, certainly with absentee ballots

- Early/advanced voter ballot stuffing; mixing fake ballots with real ballots resulting in unusual numbers of 90% clusters for Biden.

I have been warning that those in Washington DO NOT like outsiders. Only 106 republicans out of 196 joined Texas demonstrating that behind the curtain, nearly 50% of republican politicians prefer Trump to leave because he is not one of them. The Supreme Court avoided ruling claiming Texas had no standing which is completely false. Not giving a decision, either way, will propel civil unrest as each side claims they are right. Already people in Texas are talking about secession might be the answer for pro-Trump states. This time, we are approaching the break up of the United States and it may indeed be the only solution. No side has the right to oppress the other and the Supreme Court will NOT defend the people or the Constitution. The rule of law was the foundation of civilization, and refusing to comply with that duty condemns the nation to oblivion.

The Supreme Court has NO DISCRETION whatsoever to deny the petition and I do not say that as being supportive of the action. The only way to settle this dispute is to rule then both sides would have no choice but to settle down. This way, the election will always be in dispute. Biden got more votes in each of these swing states than Hillary or Obama which was NOT the case in any other state. This is indicative of fraud and it should have been addressed yes or no. This election was STOLEN not be Biden, but by an international agenda which has taken over the entire West and they needed Trump removed. Just look at the Agenda 2030 coming from Klaus Schwab and you will see the real future we face. This is the man who is destroying the future of civilization, will fail in his Marxist dreams, and will leave the West in shambles as the financial capital migrates to China….

I think in the dissent the two justices pointed out there is case precedence for people in those states to bring suit but not Texas.

This tied with the fact that the court shifted assignments as to who is in charge of which judges control which states and if cases can be brought to the SCOTUS.

Look who controls the major states in play and if thing start to go for the case of 45 I have no doubt that Kagen who is in charge of AZ will admit their petition too.

Learned and thoughtful, John Adams was more remarkable as a political philosopher than as a politician.“People and nations are forged in the fires of adversity,” he said,doubtless thinking of his own as well as the American experience.

Adams was born in the Massachusetts Bay Colony in 1735. A Harvard-educated lawyer,he early became identified with the patriot cause; a delegate to the First and Second Continental Congresses, he led in the movement for independence.

During the Revolutionary War he served in France and Holland in diplomatic roles, and helped negotiatethe treaty of peace.From 1785 to 1788 he was minister to the Court of St. James’s, returning to be elected Vice President under George Washington.

Adams’ two terms as Vice President were frustrating experiences for a man of his vigor, intellect, and vanity. He complained to his wife Abigail, “My country has in its wisdom contrived for me the most insignificant office that ever the invention of man contrived or his imagination conceived.”

When Adams became President, the war between the French and British was causing great difficulties for the United States on the high seas and intense partisanship among contending factions within the Nation.

His administration focused on France, where the Directory, the ruling group, had refused to receive the American envoy and had suspended commercial relations.

Adams sent three commissioners to France, but in the spring of 1798 word arrived that the French Foreign Minister Talleyrand and the Directory had refused to negotiate with them unless they would first pay a substantial bribe. Adams reported the insult to Congress, and the Senate printed the correspondence, in which the Frenchmen were referred to only as “X, Y, and Z.”

The Nation broke out into what Jefferson called “theX. Y. Z.fever,” increased in intensity by Adams’s exhortations. The populace cheered itself hoarse wherever the President appeared. Never had the Federalists been so popular.

Congress appropriated money to complete three new frigates and to build additional ships, and authorized the raising of a provisional army. It also passedthe Alien and Sedition Acts, intended to frighten foreign agents out of the countryand to stifle the attacks of Republican editors.

President Adams did not call for a declaration of war, but hostilities began at sea. At first, American shipping was almost defenseless against French privateers, but by 1800 armed merchantmen and U.S. warships were clearing the sea-lanes.

Despite several brilliant naval victories, war fever subsided. Word came to Adams that France also had no stomach for war and would receive an envoy with respect. Long negotiations ended the quasi war.

Sending a peace mission to France brought the full fury of the Hamiltonians against Adams. In the campaign of 1800 the Republicans were united and effective, the Federalists badly divided. Nevertheless, Adams polled only a few less electoral votes than Jefferson, who became President.

On November 1, 1800, just before the election, Adams arrived in the new Capital City to take up his residence in theWhite House.On his second evening in its damp, unfinished rooms, he wrote his wife, “Before I end my letter,I pray Heaven to bestow the best of Blessings on this House and all that shall hereafter inhabit it. May none but honest and wise Men ever rule under this roof.”

Adams retired to his farm in Quincy. Here he penned his elaborate letters to Thomas Jefferson. Here on July 4, 1826, he whispered his last words: “Thomas Jefferson survives.” But Jefferson had died at Monticello a few hours earlier.

The platform also removed the retweet count, so that people cannot see how many times it has been shared.

When Wirecard collapsed back in June and and investors suddenly realized that all of those reports about widespread accounting fraud were accurate - and not a ploy cooked up by some desperate short-seller, as BaFin, Germany's market regulator, had suggested - investors turned to the German government, and they were all asking the same question.

How did regulators let this happen? It seemed almost unbelievable that the German government would so brazenly protect an unprofitable fraud, saying nothing even when the company took Commersbank's place on the DAX, or when a hoped-for merger with fellow German champion Deutsche Bank fell apart for reasons that were unclear (though that soon changed). As with all frauds, reality cannot be forestalled forever. And so with Wirecard, the truth was finally exposed when a special audit exposed a $2BN hole in Wirecard's balance sheet.

As German lawmakers investigate regulators' failings, they've discovered that a top official with Germany's top audit watchdog traded in Wirecard shares in the months before the company's collapse, behavior that "smacks of insider trading".

Ralf Bose, a former senior partner at Big Four auditor KPMG, who has headed Apas since 2016, told the parliamentary inquiry into the accounting scandal on Thursday evening that he purchased Wirecard shares in April and sold them - at a loss - the following month. At that time, Apas was in confidential talks with Germany’s financial regulator BaFin over Wirecard.

Calling the admission “disconcerting”, German economy minister Peter Altmaier said Mr Bose’s share deals would be investigated. “We will discuss the matter with the people involved,” he told reporters on Friday.

"This smacks of insider trading," said Cansel Kiziltepe, the Social Democrat MP who asked Mr Bose about his share deals at the committee hearing.

Bose revealed the trade during testimony before the parliament on Thursday, though he declined to close the size of his trades, other than claiming that he lost money on them. German economy minister Peter Altmaier, speaking to the FT, said "We will discuss the matter with the people involved," Altmaier said.
