Fuel trucks explode in western Iran amid mysterious spate of fires and explosions across the country

Six fuel trucks erupted in flames in the western Iranian province of Kermanshah on Tuesday. It is the latest in a series of unusual fires and explosions across the Islamic Republic, some of which have hit sensitive sites.

Approximately 100 firefighters were required to battle the blazes, which occurred in a parking lot in the Dolat Abad industrial area. Video footage from the scene shows enormous columns of black smoke spilling into the air as emergency services struggled to bring the situation under control.

“Some 100 firefighters are trying to contain the fire in the area. There were no casualties but some people were injured,” Keyvan Maleki of Kermanshah’s fire department told Iran’s Student News Agency.

The spokesman said that as many as seven people, including three firefighters, were injured as a result of the explosions. He added that authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the incident.

HOLLINGER INTERNATIONAL

Hollinger Inc. was the parent company of Chicago-based Hollinger International, whose primary holdings included a group of Chicago newspapers. Its flagship paper was the Chicago Sun-Times. Hollinger also owned The Jerusalem Post and interests in Australian and Canadian newspaper chains. Hollinger's non-Canadian papers were sold to Hollinger International in 1996. Hollinger became a holding company for stakes in various companies, including its controlling stake in Hollinger International.

Ravelston Corporation, a private corporation owned by Thatcherite Conrad Black and Neo-conservative David Radler controlled their former newspaper empire. Ravelston owned Argus Corporation which in turn controlled Chicago-based Hollinger International via Hollinger Inc.

The ownership structure of Hollinger and other related companies was described as "complex" and "convoluted."

Hollinger International Inc—and its shareholders—lent money to an entity controlled by Conrad Black, paid massive management fees to entities controlled by Black, sold assets to companies controlled by Black, and maintained a condominium for Black in New York. The board of directors approved every step of the way. It wasn’t until this Monday—when a special committee of outsiders, formed at the urging of shareholder activist Tweedy Browne, disclosed $32 million in unreported or improperly reported compensation to Black and other executives—that he was forced to step down.

Reason for Black's Empire

Hollinger didn't only exist as an operation to steal for investors. It existed to serve the interests of Conrad Black and David Radler which they shared with the networks operated by the oligarchy, corporations and military industrial complex establishment. The goal was to shape public thought into supporting their agendas.

Zionism

Black's notably rightwing brand of Zionism which tends to regard the Palestinians, like their leader Yasser Arafat (to quote from an article he wrote in the Post in 1993,) as "vile and primitive".

As a result, uniquely among British papers, the foreign pages of the Daily and Sunday Telegraphs have contained a notable absence of clear, critical reporting of Israel's deadly methods of suppressing Palestinian dissent. Their comment pages have been even more extreme.

Edward Luttwack, a former Israeli tank commander and friend of Black, writing to celebrate the election of Sharon whom he praised as "a master of outwitting his opponents", and a "raging bull who is really a matador" - as if he were some sort of jolly sporting hero rather than the man who failed to stop the single most gruesome massacre in the entire Arab-Israeli conflict. Then there are the regular appearances of Black's wife, Barbara Amiel, who recently concluded a two-page spread in the Telegraph by comparing the Palestinians to "animals".

It was against this background that a major row erupted three weeks ago when the Spectator columnist Taki (familiar to Guardian readers from his frequent appearances as a runaway waiter in Matthew Norman's diary) broke the unspoken ban on criticising Israel in a Black paper by writing a piece which Black described, in an emotional 3,000-word retort, as "almost worthy of Goebbels".

Since then the Spectator letters page has been like a war zone, with Black flinging increasingly hysterical accusations at anyone who dissents from his views. Lord Gilmour, who had written to defend Taki, was accused of "seeming like a common or garden Jew baiter". In a second letter in the same letters page, more than half of which was filled by Black himself, Piers Paul Read, AN Wilson, Charles Glass and I - all Spectator writers who had written to protest at the skewed coverage of Israel-Palestine in Black's papers - were denounced by Black as representative of "the depths of the problem of anti-semitism in the British media".

Sarah Bloom Raskin

Sarah Bloom Raskin (born April 15, 1961) is an American attorney and regulator, who was formerly a member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System and a former United States Deputy Secretary of the Treasury. Previously, she served as Maryland Commissioner of Financial Regulation and as a Managing Director at the Promontory Financial Group.[1] She is currently a Rubenstein Fellow at Duke University.

Since 2019, she has been touted as a potential future Secretary of the Treasury.[2]

Career

Raskin worked as an associate at Arnold & Porter and as counsel for the U.S. Senate Banking Committee.[8] Prior to serving as Commissioner, she was a Managing Director at the Promontory Financial Group. Raskin also served as chief financial regulator for Maryland.[9]

President Obama nominated Raskin to the Federal Reserve Board along with fellow nominees Dr. Janet Yellen, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology economics professor Peter A. Diamond.[6] Raskin and Yellen were unanimously confirmed as Federal Reserve Board governors by the United States Senate on September 30, 2010.[10] On October 4, 2010, both were sworn in by Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke.[11] As a member of the Federal Reserve Board, Raskin gained a reputation as someone focused on consumer protection and income inequality.[9]

On July 31, 2013, President Barack Obama announced that he would nominate Raskin to the second-in-command position of Deputy Secretary at the United States Department of the Treasury.[12] She was confirmed to the position on March 12, 2014 by a voice vote.[13] Upon confirmation, Raskin became the highest-ranked woman in the history of the Treasury Department.[9] Raskin was sworn in on March 19, 2014.[14] Upon her confirmation as Deputy Secretary she resigned as a Member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System on March 13, 2014.[15]

Personal life

Raskin is married to Jamie Raskin, a member of the U.S. House of Representativesfrom Maryland's 8th congressional district.[16] They have three adult children and currently live in Takoma Park, Maryland.[17]

The former Chair of Harvard University’s Chemistry and Chemical Biology Department was charged today in a superseding indictment with tax offenses for failing to report income he received from Wuhan University of Technology (WUT) in Wuhan, China.

Dr. Charles Lieber, 61, was indicted by a federal grand jury in Boston on two counts of making and subscribing a false income tax return and two counts of failing to file reports of foreign bank and financial accounts (FBAR) with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). In June 2020, Lieber was indicted on two counts of making false statements to federal authorities. Lieber was arrested on Jan. 28, 2020.

The superseding indictment alleges that Lieber served as the Principal Investigator of the Lieber Research Group at Harvard University, which received more than $15 million in federal research grants between 2008 and 2019. Unbeknownst to his employer, Harvard University, Lieber allegedly became a “Strategic Scientist” at WUT and, later, a contractual participant in China’s Thousand Talents Plan from at least 2012 through 2015. China’s Thousand Talents Plan is one of the most prominent Chinese talent recruitment plans designed to attract, recruit and cultivate high-level scientific talent in furtherance of China’s scientific development, economic prosperity and national security.

Under the terms of Lieber’s three-year Thousand Talents contract, WUT allegedly paid Lieber a salary of up to $50,000 per month, living expenses of up to $150,000 and awarded him more than $1.5 million to establish a research lab at WUT. It is alleged that in 2018 and 2019, Lieber lied to federal authorities about his involvement in the Thousand Talents Plan and his affiliation with WUT.

According to the superseding indictment, in tax years 2013 and 2014, Lieber earned income from WUT in the form of salary and other payments made to him pursuant to the Strategic Scientist and Thousand Talents Contracts, which he did not disclose to the IRS on his federal income tax returns. The superseding indictment also alleges that Lieber, together with WUT officials, opened a bank account at a Chinese bank during a trip to Wuhan in 2012. Thereafter, between at least 2013 and 2015, WUT periodically deposited portions of Lieber’s salary into that account. U.S. taxpayers are required to report the existence of any foreign bank account that holds more than $10,000 at any time during a given year by the filing an FBAR with the IRS. Lieber allegedly failed to file FBARs for the years 2014 and 2015.

The charge of making false statements provides for a sentence of up to five years in prison, three years of supervised release and a fine of $250,000. The charge of making and subscribing false income tax returns provides for a sentence of up to three years in prison, one year of supervised release and a $100,000 fine. The charge of failing to file an FBAR provides for a sentence of up to five years in prison, three years of supervised release and a fine of $250,000. Sentences are imposed by a federal district court judge based upon the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.

A Michigan elderly patient, who was beaten on more than one occasion by a 20-year-old man who was staying at the same healthcare facility, passed away on Monday after his health reportedly took a turn for the worse after the brutal assaults, according to his nephew.

In mid May, viral videos showing Jaden Hayden from Ypsilanti beat 75-year-old Norman Bledsoe led to the young man’s arrest. Haden was placed in the nursing home after Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer apparently adopted a policy similar to the one employed in New York, and began sending COVID-19 positive patients to nursing homes.

The horrific incident garnered tens of thousands of engagements shortly after the news broke with President Trump commenting on the videos, tweetin: “Is this even possible to believe? Can this be for real? Where is this nursing home, how is the victim doing?”

Due to the beatings, Bledsoe suffered four broken fingers, a broken jaw, and broken ribs. The elderly patient’s appetite and mood collapsed after the attacks, according to his nephew, Kevin Bledsoe.

Kevin said that “His eating habits went downhill after [the alleged assault], and he lost quite a bit of weight,” reported The Detroit News.

“We finally were able to see him last week,” Kevin added, referring to coronavirus restrictions. “He wasn’t doing very good. I guess there just wasn’t anything else they could do for him,” he said.

When Hayden was arrested, it was revealed that he had also used Bledsoe’s credit cards. As a result the 20 year old faces “two counts of assault with intent to do great bodily harm, theft, and two counts of credit card theft.”

Hayden is awaiting a hearing on July 30 to determine whether he is mentally fit to stand trial.

Investigators discovered Hayden’s YouTube channel where he allegedly assaulted other people, espoused black supremacist views, and accused female celebrities of being men.

The victim’s family has signaled their intent to sue the Westwood Nursing Center.

Royal Bank of Canada (RY.TO) said on Tuesday it reached a mutual agreement to end all sponsorships with and donations to Canada’s WE Charity, which has been drawn into controversy surrounding an ethics inquiry into Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Canada’s ethics commissioner launched an inquiry into Trudeau’s participation in a Cabinet decision to use the charity, with which his family has ties, to administer a multi-million-dollar student grant program. RBC said it had conducted a review of the partnership. The charity said it had mutually decided with its Canadian partners to suspend partnerships out of concern for their reputation and investment commitments, and had also suspended formal agreements with its school board partners.

WE Charity disclosed earlier this month that it paid speaking fees of C$250,000 to Trudeau’s mother, Margaret, in recent years, and about C$32,000 to his brother, Alexandre. But WE Charity founders Craig and Marc Kielburger defended their efforts to set up the grant program before a parliamentary committee. The charity said it would no longer manage the program about a week after it had been announced.

“WE Charity agreed to implement the Canada Student Service Grant not to be helped by government, but to help government – and to help young people across Canada,” Craig Kielburger said, adding that “there was no financial benefit for the charity.” Trudeau and his wife, Sophie Gregoire Trudeau, have also participated in the charity’s events. “We regret that we didn’t recognize how this decision would be perceived,” Craig Kielburger said. “As we see the organization today, the fallout now from this political process has resulted in serious challenges that risk the entire organization and 25 years of work.”

Declassified Senate Report Details ‘Bitter Argument’ Between CIA And FBI Over Steele Dossier

Documents declassified on Tuesday detail an intense debate between the CIA and FBI in late 2016 over the handling of information from Christopher Steele, with one CIA official telling the Senate Intelligence Committee that the former British spy’s allegations about Trump-Russia collusion were “very unvetted.”

Despite the CIA’s concerns about Steele’s allegations, the FBI successfully lobbied to include his information in an Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) regarding Russian interference in the 2016 election. The bureau also continued using information from Steele to conduct surveillance against former Trump campaign aide Carter Page.

Investigators have since debunked several of Steele’s allegations.

The newly declassified information is from a Senate Intelligence Committee report released on April 21 that detailed the creation of an ICA released on Jan. 6, 2017.

According to the Senate report, FBI investigators informed CIA analysts on Dec. 20, 2016 that the bureau wanted to include information from Steele in the ICA.

James Comey and Andrew McCabe, the FBI director and deputy director, respectively, negotiated with their counterparts at the CIA and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence to include Steele’s information, saying that it was relevant to the question of Russian interference in the 2016 election.

But CIA officials and analysts told the Senate panel that they had deep reservations about the dossier, according to the newly declassified materials.

Fed Extends Emergency Programs on Eve of July Policy Announcement

WASHINGTON — The Federal Reserve extended its emergency lending programs on Tuesday through the end of 2020, a three-month addition that, while not surprising, signaled how lasting the economic damage from the coronavirus is proving.

The decision came as officials gathered remotely for a two-day policy meeting that will conclude on Wednesday, when the Fed releases a statement at 2 p.m.

That meeting is likely to yield little action — rates are already at near-zero and are almost certain to stay there for an extended period — but it could provide a fresh read on how Fed officials are thinking about the economic outlook, and hints about their plans for the future.

The chair, Jerome H. Powell, who will hold a remote news conference at 2:30 p.m., is sure to field questions on the newly extended emergency lending programs, which have been introduced to try to keep markets functioning and credit flowing. Seven of the nine programs were set to expire on or around the end of September, but they have now been extended through the end of the year. Two others — one that buys municipal debt and another that smooths over the market for short-term business funding — already had later end dates.

Providing credit has been one facet of the Fed’s policy response as the coronavirus has closed businesses, cost jobs, and kept millions of Americans in their homes and away from malls, planes and movie theaters. The central bank also cut interest rates to near-zero in March, a bid to shore up lending and spending and cushion the blow to economic activity. It has been buying vast amounts of government-backed debt in an effort to keep bond markets functioning normally.

Officials are now debating what comes next, and economists are expecting some discussion of the possibilities after Wednesday’s meeting.

While officials have made it clear that interest rates will be low for a long time, central bankers must decide how to signal just how patient they plan to be. They could commit to low rates by promising not to raise them until after a given date, or by tying near-zero rates to a certain inflation or unemployment threshold.

Barr Reveals Separate Probe Into Flynn Unmasking, But Sources Worry Americans Will Be Left In The Dark If Investigations Are Kept Secret Until After Election

Department of Justice Attorney General William Barr revealed during Tuesday’s House Judiciary Committee hearing that there is a separate investigation into the questionable unmasking of former national security advisor Michael Flynn being headed by an outside U.S. Attorney. This investigation is separate but in conjunction with another investigation being headed by U.S. Attorney John Durham into the origination of the FBI’s now-debunked case that President Donald Trump’s campaign colluded with Russia.

But sources familiar and vested in Barr’s investigation say there is serious concern as to whether or not the Justice Department can accomplish a full investigation into the Flynn unmasking and the origin of the FBI’s probe into before the November election. Durham’s investigation has been ongoing for more than a year and he has yet to indict any suspects or issue a full report.

Barr did not state whether or not the results of those investigations would be released prior to the November elections but did reiterate to lawmakers that he was aware of the Justice Department rules to not release information that may interfere in an election.

“The American people deserve the truth and there should be no games here, what-so-ever,” said a former senior Intelligence official, who is aware of the ongoing circumstances with the issues being investigated. “Democrats, as well as some Rhino anti-Trump Republicans will push against any report being published before November but that is unacceptable. The Trump administration has spent four years being tarnished and the American people divided.”

“People need the truth and they need it now,” stated the official, who spoke on background due to the continued nature of their work.

Barr told lawmakers Tuesday that with regard to Flynn, he appointed U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Texas John Bash. He wants Bash to investigate the numerous unmasking requests made by former Obama administration officials into Flynn.

The retired three star general’s name and the contents of a top secret conversations in December, 2016 with former Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak were leaked to The Washington Post. Columnist David Ignatius said in his column that multiple U.S. officials had verified that Flynn had spoken to Kislyak and that those conversations regarded then sanctions the Obama administration had taken on Russia.

Barr said that Bash’s probe of the Flynn leak will be independent of the criminal probe being conducted by Durham.

“A number of people, including former special agent (Peter) Strzok and (Joe) Pientka have been interviewed by Durham,” said a source familiar with with Durham’s ongoing probe. “The investigation is certain to bring indictments but how many and who is certainly not being verified by anyone inside the DOJ but If I was (Former FBI Director James) Comey I’d be very concerned.”

Barr told the panel of lawmakers about Bash after being asked by ranking Ohio Republican Rep. Jim Jordan.

Rep. Banks blows whistle on state governments helping China spy in the U.S.

An increasing number of local and state law enforcement authorities are using Chinese-made drones that the federal government warns are Communist Party espionage tools, prompting Congress to petition local governments to end their reliance on the technology.

Rep. Jim Banks (R., Ind.), a member of the House Armed Services Committee and Congress’s China Task Force, is blowing the whistle on his state’s use of drones produced by Dà-Jiāng Innovations (DJI), which is controlled by the Chinese government and known to service its police state. Dà-Jiāng and other Communist Party drone makers earlier this year donated more than 100 drones to U.S. authorities in 22 states to help them conduct surveillance during the coronavirus pandemic. While the Defense Department and other federal agencies have banned the use of these drones, local governments have failed to do the same.

Banks, in a letter sent last week and obtained Tuesday by the Washington Free Beacon, warned Indiana officials that their use of these Chinese drones could be helping the Communist Party collect sensitive data about Americans and their local governments.

Chinese-made drones are one of many technologies the U.S. government has cracked down on in recent months over concerns the Communist Party is using them to conduct espionage operations in America. All of the data collected by these unmanned vehicles would be accessible to the Chinese government due to its strict oversight of the tech sector. Congressional and Trump administration officials have issued multiple warnings about the risks associated with Chinese technology, including popular social media applications such as TikTok, which could soon find itself banned in America due to China’s abuse of users’ private information.

"The federal government has become wise to the Chinese Communist Party’s infiltration, but state and local governments have not uniformly become as vigilant," Banks told the Free Beacon.

In his letter, addressed to Indiana governor Eric Holcomb (R.), Banks outlines the many concerns surrounding DJI and other Chinese drone makers. Holcomb was labeled by a Chinese think tank as a "friendly" U.S. official last year after he led a trade mission to the country.

Banks is pressuring Holcomb to implement a statewide executive order "prohibiting DJI drones and other drone companies with significant ties to the Chinese Communist Party from being used in support of state or local government operations," according to the letter.

China is seeking increased contact with U.S. state and local officials in a bid to bolster its standing in America. This effort has become all the more important as the Trump administration cracks down on the federal government’s contacts with Beijing as a result of the coronavirus and subsequent Communist Party disinformation campaign.

As a member of the China Task Force in Congress, Banks is "regularly briefed on the grave dangers of using drones and other surveillance technologies that may be sharing data with the Chinese Communist Party," the letter states.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo also warned the nation’s governors of this danger during a February meeting with the National Governors Association.

Further, its actions thus far should just be the first step in disrupting the organized violence aimed at intimidating public officials, injuring law enforcement officers, destroying public and private property and making our streets less safe.

Letu2019s be clear. We are not talking about u201cpeaceful protests.u201d What is going on in Portland, as well as Seattle and some other is an array of criminal activity: rioting, looting, arson, assaulting law enforcement officers and more. This is flat out criminal activity.

And it is not all spontaneous. This is organized criminal activity.

For starters, the rioters are targeting cities where public officials have created a more permissive environment. They have restricted the actions of local and state law enforcement. When rioters are arrested, they release them quickly, refusing to prosecute.

Moreover, these officials refuse to cooperate with federal law enforcement. In sum, they have turned their cities into u201csoft targetsu201d for criminals.

Further, it is clear that many of the crimes committed are premeditated. Rioters show up armed with commercial fireworks, chain saws, crowbars, frozen water bottles, laser pointers (that have already injured the eyesight of several law enforcement personnel), leaf blowers (to disperse tear gas) and metal spikes (to incapacitate the tires of law enforcement vehicles).

In a move likely to irk Beijing, the U.S. and Australia look to build a "network of alliances" to secure the Indo-Pacific under efforts discussed at a two-day meeting that wrapped up Tuesday. The topic of China dominated the "two plus two" dialogue, where U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Defense Secretary Mark Esper hosted Australian Foreign Minister Marise Payne and Defense Minister Linda Reynolds. Their gathering in Washington was the 30th edition of the Australia-United States Ministerial Consultations, or AUSMIN. As Sino-American tensions rise, Washington successfully brought Australia to its side of the superpower tug of war, with Canberra vowing to make better use of current alliances and build new groupings to counter Beijing. "We'll work more closely with existing partnerships," Payne told a news conference after the meeting, "such as the Five Eyes, ASEAN, the Quad, the Trilateral Infrastructure Partnership, the East Asia Summit," name-checking a list of multilateral Asian alliances, collectives and organizations. "We will build new groupings, cementing friendships, improving our security through a network of nations that share our vision of an open, prosperous and secure Indo-Pacific," she said. The Five Eyes intelligence alliance comprises the U.S., U.K., Australia, Canada and New Zealand. The Quad, or Quadrilateral Strategic Dialogue, is a framework formed by the U.S., Japan, India and Australia. The Trilateral Infrastructure Partnership is a grouping of development finance institutions of the U.S., Japan and Australia.

A joint statement issued after the event also vowed to cooperate with ASEAN and Five Eyes but added South Korea and made special mention of Vietnam the current chair of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations lauding its leadership in combating the COVID-19 pandemic. Esper said the recent trilateral exercises in the Philippine Sea by the U.S., Australia and Japan aimed to send China a message. "Last week, five Australian ships joined the USS Ronald Reagan aircraft carrier strike group and a Japanese destroyer in conducting trilateral naval exercises," he said. "These exercises not only bolster interoperability, but also send a clear signal to Beijing, that that we will fly, we will sail and we will operate wherever international law allows," Esper said. Reynolds, his Australian counterpart, said the two countries agreed to further deepen cooperation in defense, science, technology and industry. "This includes hypersonics, electronic warfare and space-based capabilities," she said.

These are seen as key capabilities in penetrating China's anti-access/area denial, or A2/AD, strategy – which combines ships, missiles and sensors to prevent adversaries from approaching the Chinese mainland. Hypersonic missiles, for instance, can travel five times the speed of sound at high altitudes, making them difficult to intercept and ideal for targeting Chinese aircraft carriers. Electronic warfare and space capabilities are seen as crucial in denying China satellite communications and access its Beidou global navigation system.

"My biggest takeaway is that the U.S. and Australia are very much on the same page when it comes to dealing with China," said Derek Grossman, senior defense analyst at the California-based Rand Corp. "We shouldn't take that for granted because Australia in the past has been hesitant to push China too far." Grossman said that "since perhaps as early as the publication of Canberra's last defense white paper in 2016, and certainly within the last few months as punctuated by the 2020 defense strategy and force posture update, Australian policymakers have appeared more willing to support the U.S. in great-power competition against China." However, Foreign Minister Payne towed a line of caution because of Australia's economic dependence on and geographic proximity to China. The "relationship with China is important ... we don't want to injure it," she said. Reynolds did not commit to freedom-of-navigation operations closer to the disputed island chains in the South China Sea when asked by a reporter, stating instead that those operations will remain "consistent" with what the country has been doing. "There probably is some wiggle room in Australian policy to keep the relationship with Beijing on an even keel," Grossman observed. "China is Australia's No. 1 trade partner, and so I think they will be more reluctant to 'decouple,' so to speak, from Beijing.

Dr Stella Immanuel, one of the doctors filmed touting hydroxychloroquine as a “cure” for Covid-19, has a history of unorthodox statements about health – including that visits from demons in our dreams can cause fertility issues.

It was only a matter of time before a mainstream media outlet did a deep dive on the doctor involved in the much-shared video claiming masks are not needed to stop the spread of coronavirus because HCQ is the “cure.” The drug has been promoted by the US president, but has yet to produce anything but varied results in research.

Left-wing media outlet The Daily Beast led the charge, running a report only hours after the footage, originally streamed by Breitbart, was labeled “misinformation” on various social media platforms – including Twitter, where the US president’s eldest son Donald Trump Jr was locked out of his account for sharing the video and endorsing its message.

Immanuel, a licensed pediatrician in Texas who claims to have treated many Covid-19 patients with HCQ, is also the head of the Fire Power Ministries Christian Resource Center. Some of her previous speeches tied to this ministry present some rather odd views.

In one video, she claims “demonic sex after demon dream sex” can cause “gynecological problems.” According to Immanuel, people can be visited by “spirit wives” and “spirit husbands” in their dreams, and then suffer medical issues afterward.

“We call them all kinds of names – endometriosis, we call them molar pregnancies, we call them fibroids, we call them cysts, but most of them are evil deposits from the spirit husband,” she said in 2013. “They are responsible for miscarriages, impotence – men that can’t get it up.”

This act, Immanuel claims, is how demons continuously reproduce themselves.

“They turn into a woman and then they sleep with the man and collect his sperm,” she said. “Then they turn into the man and they sleep with a man and deposit the sperm and reproduce more of themselves.”

Her beliefs go beyond the spirit world, though. Immanuel has also spoken of alien DNA being used in modern medicine, as well as toys, like the magic 8-ball, being used to seduce people into “witchcraft.”

FDA List of Potentially Dangerous Hand Sanitizers with Methanol Expands

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has added a dozen potentially dangerous hand sanitizers to its recall list due to the presence of methanol.

As of Tuesday, 87 of the products have tested positive for methanol, a substance that can be poisonous if it comes into contact with the skin or potentially fatal if ingested, the FDA said in a press release.

The majority of the hand sanitizers appear to be made in Mexico, with recalls issued by the distributor or manufacturer.

The FDA is urging consumers not to use products from listed manufacturers even if that specific product is not on the recall list, “since some manufacturers are recalling only certain — but not all — of their hand sanitizer products,” the FDA said.

Australian Border Force officers have seized a large number of lifelike child sex dolls favoured by paedophiles, ordered online and sent via the post.

Data obtained by news.com.au shows the purchase of the sinister products by Australians continues, with 31 packages intercepted at international mail centres in the first six months of 2020 alone.

In the 12 months to June 30, a total of 86 childlike sex dolls were seized at international mail centres, it can be revealed.

“Child-like sex dolls and other child abuse material are symptomatic of the broader global threat posed by child sexual abuse, that’s why the ABF works with its law enforcement and intelligence partners to further investigate these imports,” a spokesman for the agency said.

“ABF officers at our air cargo and mail facilities are actively targeting these dolls, which are a prohibited import and are considered child abuse material.

“The ABF has a zero tolerance approach to child abuse material, including childlike sex dolls, and we use all powers available to us to protect Australians from anyone associated with these sickening activities.”

Earlier this month, news.com.au revealed that one of the world’s largest online marketplaces, Alibaba, contained a number of listings for replica child dolls, including infants and toddlers.

One of the sellers even provided a sickening video of an anatomically correct baby doll, demonstrating how it could be “used”.

Advocacy group Collective Shout conducted an investigation that exposed a number of listings, despite previous commitments from the company to ban the sale of the dolls.

“I’ve been an activist with Collective Shout for 10 years and this is the most disturbing content I’ve seen,” campaigner Melinda Liszewski said. “It is deeply distressing to view.”

‘Invasion Of Personal Privacy’: NYPD Refuses To Release 1996 Complaint Filed Against Ghislaine Maxwell

The New York Police Department will not release a 1996 complaint filed against convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s cohort Ghislaine Maxwell.

The NYPD denied the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for the complaint, filed under New York’s Freedom of Information Law, saying “such information, if disclosed, would constitute an unwarranted invasion of personal privacy.”

Painter Maria Farmer said in a August 2019 interview with The New York Times that she told the FBI and the NYPD in 1996 that Epstein and Maxwell had sexually molested both her and her sister. She also said that after she fled from Epstein’s home, Maxwell called her and threatened to destroy Farmer’s artwork.

Farmer claimed the NYPD referred her to the FBI regarding her allegations of assault but took a report on Maxwell’s alleged threats. According to NYPD spokeswoman Sergeant Mary Frances O’Donnell, Farmer’s complaint was filed for aggravated harassment and not for assault.

FBI Had 12-Page File On George Carlin Because He Made Jokes About Government

Comedian George Carlin is known as one of the most controversial and outspoken entertainers of his time, and as far as the government is concerned, he could have possibly been a terrorist.

Carlin was not a violent or criminal person in any way, but he said things during his routines that struck at the root of the problems in our society. He went into great detail about corruption in government and business.

During the 1978 Supreme Court case, FCC v Pacifica Foundation, the government cited Carlin’s work as an example of profanity. They used his “Seven Dirty Words” segment to show the type of language that was being used in records and broadcasts. However, the government’s interest in his work did not stop there.

Just after his 1969 appearance on the Jackie Gleason show, Carlin caught the attention of the FBI because he made jokes about then-FBI chief J. Edgar Hoover. According to the government, Carlin had “referred to the Bureau and the Director in a satirical vein.”

They added that his act was “considered to be in very poor taste” and “it was obvious that he was using the prestige of the Bureau and Mr. Hoover to enhance his performance.”

The identity of the “legendary” Israeli spy who is slated to receive the official commendation has not been revealed and has only been referred to as “Aleph”; said to be in his forties and well-known both in Israeli and American intelligence circles. He is described as a “phenomenon” of the cyber field who turned down a lucrative career in the tech industry in order to serve the national interest. The mystery-man was credited with creating a “significant part” of the work in Israeli cybersecurity by an unnamed acquaintance.

Toxic chemicals were present in the smoke from the amphibious assault ship Bonhamme Richard fire in San Diego, according to a new report.

The San Diego County Air Pollution Control District determined the smoke contained substances including benzene, chloromethane and acetonitrile after conducting an air sampling, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune. However, the fire primarily emitted pollutants caused from normal activities like driving a car.

(CNN)The Pennsylvania Department of Health issued a report Tuesday that found the Brighton Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Beaver provided 205 patients with hydroxychloroquine without receiving prior DOH approval.

The department said in its report that hydroxychloroquine is not an approved medication to prevent Covid-19 and noted its possible side effects, some of which are unknown but could include "sickness, permanent injuries, and/or death."

The Department of Health completed their survey June 16 but reports do not appear on its website until at least 41 days after their completion date, the report says.

Lindy Cameron begins the role amid tensions around the Russia report

A civil servant who has served in conflict zones including Afghanistan and Iraq, and has worked in the international development field, will be taking over as the head of one of Britain’s cyber intelligence agencies.

Lindy Cameron will replace Ciaran Martin as the Chief Executive Officer of the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), a part of GCHQ, at a time of ongoing controversy over the performance of the intelligence agencies in countering cyber campaigns by hostile states.

A recent report by the Commons Intelligence and Security Committee (ISC) strongly criticised the failure of the government and the security and intelligence services for a failure to combat Russian propaganda offensives during the last general election and the Brexit and Scottish independence referendums.

GCHQ and the NCSC told the Committee that Russia had targeted critical national infrastructure and government departments and posed an “immediate and urgent threat” in cyberspace. Yet, the MPs found, as late as 2016, the time of the Brexit vote, GCHQ only devoted just 10 per cent of its resources to Russia. There has been a significant rise in those resources since then.

Ms Cameron’s new post will also include dealing with the fallout from the decision to bar Huawei from the UK’s 5G network by 2027. The move, a volte-face by Boris Johnson’s government, came after a review was carried out by the NCSC following the impositions of new sanctions by the US on the Chinese telecommunications multinational.

QAnon, Plandemic, And Right-Wing Media’s Conspiracy Spiral

The rot runs deep in the right-wing media. Just look at what happened over the last week.

On Wednesday, Sinclair Broadcast Group released a segment featuring coronavirus conspiracy theorist Judy Mikovits, who alleged that top U.S. infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci had "manufactured" the virus. The pro-Trump cable news network OAN aired a segment Thursday defending as "widely accepted" and "the new mainstream" the QAnon movement, whose adherents claim President Donald Trump is fighting a cabal of Satan-worshiping politicians and celebrities who control the world and run a child sex trafficking ring.

Friday saw Fox News hosts Jesse Watters and Greg Gutfeld name Mike Cernovich a far-right troll who has trumpeted the "Pizzagate" theory that Democratic pedophiles were trafficking and sexually abusing children in a Washington, D.C., pizzeria as their favorite follow on Twitter. On Saturday night, Watters used his Fox show to hype the "great stuff" that the QAnon movement has purportedly uncovered "when it comes to the deep state."

He writes in his forthcoming book, Undaunted: My Fight Against America’s Enemies, at Home and Abroad, that after months of "haggling" he discovered the CIA was abiding by the directive Trump gave in August 2018 "that purportedly forbids anyone in the intelligence community from sharing classified information with me."

The White House confirmed the directive was being enforced, which is news considering the New York Times reported in May of last year that the president never revoked Brennan's security clearance.

“The President has constitutional authority to control access to classified information, which he exercised here in view of Mr. Brennan’s erratic behavior and the President’s belief that access to classified information should be solely for the benefit of the government and the American people,” White House spokesman Judd Deere said.

Last night I had a weird dream. I normally don't dream of things like this. Sat here for a bit wondering if I should even say anything but here it is.

I dreamed I received a large package in the mail from China out of the blue. Inside, was a cooked torso of a male human with head, arms and legs skin area nicely tucked to make the whole thing look like a big turkey breast. In my dream I wanted to call the FBI but I live too close to Portland, OR and didn't trust any FBI being sent from there so tried to call the NSA in DC. Wondering what to do about this packaged disturbed me so much it woke me up around 4:30 am PST. Never went back to sleep.

Whelp, that was it. I never dream of crap like this but then I get my coffee, sat down to read some twitter posts and see this article.

U.S. Warns Against Planting Mystery Seeds From China

U.S. federal agencies are investigating suspicious and unsolicited packages of seeds that have been arriving at addresses across America and appear to come from China.

Anyone who receives the shipments should hold onto the seeds and packaging and immediately contact officials, the U.S. Department of Agriculture said in a statement.

The USDA doesn’t have any evidence to indicate this is something other than a “brushing scam,” where a seller sends unsolicited packages so they can post false customer reviews online and boost sales, it said.

Authorities in Canada also said there have been reports of its citizens receiving unsolicited seed packages, echoing the USDA’s warning not to plant them.

“Unauthorized seeds could be the seeds of invasive plants, or carry plant pests, which can be harmful when introduced into Canada,” the Canadian Food Inspection Agency said in a statement. “These species can invade agricultural and natural areas, causing serious damage to our plant resources.”

China’s foreign ministry on Tuesday said that the problem parcels are forged and not from the Asian nation. China Post has strictly followed regulations that ban the sending and receiving of seeds, and has talked to its U.S. counterparts about returning parcels to the Asian nation so it can investigate further, Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said.

The USDA is collecting the seed packages and will test their contents for anything that could be of concern to U.S. agriculture or the environment, it said.
