For those unfamiliar, "Plamo" is a shortened form of "plastic model." If it's made of plastic, someone can probably help you here.

Nice.
But yeah, could do with a little bit more panel lining and detailing to give it pop.

Its a little but heavy but props to you for doing some research on damage instead of randomly splattering the kit with silver paint.
A dot filter over this would look really great.

Yeah, I've tried to strip it back a little bit.
The look I was going for was a deserter that just took their MS and ran, having to weather the conditions and various bounty hunters that come after them.
I was planning on getting two or three of the 1/144 vanilla Graze and setting up a diorama.
I started working on the left leg and am just trying to give it a bit more of a natural paint wear right now.
>>19047
Nice.
The Grimgerde already had that knight look going for it but that crest and shield do wonders for its presence.

Any kits still in production that have a backpack like the Gyan Marine? Closest I have is the Gelgoog Cannon, but it would require some cutting and sculpting that I'd rather avoid.

Alright, it's done for now but I'll do a few more touchups once I get all the stuff for the diorama together.
Things like adding some more paint chipping to edges, mud splatter etc.

Ah, good to see you went back and finished the Inner Frame!
While it might be a bit much for my taste, having untouched plastic on the inside was off-putting.
I especially like the metallic wash.

Decided to start my very first kitbash.
It's gonna be a modified Hyakuri to look like a protoype mobile suit for the JSDF.
Gonna be using some junk parts and bits of runners to make Missile pods for the backpack.
Still in the planning phase though, but I got ahead of myself and already did one shoulder thruster.

What tools do you have currently? If you've got a pin vise with a 3mm drill bit, you can save yourself a ton of headache by just drilling 3mm holes and using 3mm runners as the missiles. I can throw together an example piece if you want.

I'll be going on a run to the hobbyshop soon to pick up a few things and was planning exactly to do that for the missiles.
I've got some leftover red runner from another kit the perfect size for the missiles.

Not sure about a kit, but there's probably an effects part or two that fits what you're looking for from some of those toy lines like the Figarts and so forth
Might be some generic "fire effects parts" too

I'm behind on my photos, I've built several kits since my last posting but I've only just gotten to taking pictures of my most recent and biggest pleasant surprise yet. The Zock, this kit was delightful to examine with lots of unseen internal detail and fun bits of design such as the articulated eye cameras that can slide around wherever you want them. The symmetrical front back is unique among kits and the kit itself is a huge solid plastic brick shithouse. You of course can't expect too much pose power from a large green mecha potato but it still manages to have a lovable personality.

Okay, could someone explain why pics 2 and 3 look so much different in terms of reflectivity? I used the same paint, topcoat, and thinned the top coat the same, and applied it using the same airbrush in similar application and conditions and yet they turned out different. Could there be any reason for this? Besides shit luck that is. Also rate the rest of it. I know the yellow parts are pretty poorly painted, especially the attempts to fill in the black areas, but my masking skills are not the greatest. Also the decals could have been applied better (and I completely forgot about the concept of mark setter).

Can anyone recommend a good generic 1/144 shield with visor slot that does NOT have the stupid feddy cross on it and more squarish than the elliptic one the gelgoog has? I'm not too confident in modifying my waff's shield to have a visor and rim and was thinking of getting an alternative shield with some of the work already done.
