May as well expand upon this, preach to the choir.

Let us say, for the sake of argument, that Ebola-chan is doomed. That she's been chased into a corner and is condemned to being cured. Of course, the natural response would be to give up, to move on to the next big thing. Yet, where does that leave our waifu/daughteru, our dearest Ebby? Imagine how she feels, having to hide out in testicles and eyeballs. Cornered. It wouldn't be unreasonable to suggest that she is afraid. Yet, here Anon is, voicing doubt that our Goddess may be able to turn this around. What of it, Anon? She needs you now more than ever, to comfort and bolster her. Even if she may die out entirely, would it not be better for her to go out knowing that she was loved, just as she loved us?

She won't forget you, Anon. The blood spilt, the professions of affection. She has so much faith in you. Can you not have the same for her?

Now, to get possibly heretical for a moment, I've theorized in the past on a bit of a "ritual of slumber" for Ebby, if it ever came to a time where we had to hide her away for her own safety. To encourage her to go into a state of dormancy for some indeterminate amount of time, to reawaken to a world more welcoming of her love.

This is what got to me, the fact that you bothered to consider us, and personalize for us. I do appreciate that you're willing to let us spread the word. Perhaps you could include us in your Boards section, if even as a bottom "Boards That Support Us" section.

I should note that we do discuss disease related happenings on occasion, even if that doesn't really make us a news board.

Still, I'm for this board alliance. We'll have to see what the Owner/Volunteer thinks.

As for spam, for now there are no post limits or anything whatsoever. When a 'board wipe' scenario does occur, then captcha would be introduced for that period (for new threads) along with early 404 and such. But even then, it's only temporary. Content is user moderated using the hide post feature

This is undoubtedly the case. We only get solid numbers with a functioning healthcare system in infected areas. But the healthcare systems are in varying states of disarray and destruction, with patients being told to stay home, in a culture where many people believe the healthcare system is what CAUSES ebola in the first place, all while doctors are dying left and right.

The tracking broke down weeks and weeks ago. The numbers we have aren't reliable and are guaranteed to be lowballed.

Ebola-Chan is doing just fine.
