most of the bakers know if I speak up i use d'oh or gb which is ghost baker-because that is how all the notetaker stuff started.

the best thing to do when that habbens is just don't-if that makes sense. I stay out of trouble by not reacting to it any longer. You are comfortable with who you are and that, imo, is all anyone needs.
people will bitch and moan about many things. I stay out of it now..not so earlier.
Been around here for about the same time as you, at the switch-over from half but I never posted anything on half or /pol when I waded in there in 2017.

imma spill the beans
one morning I got on the board to find no baker but notetaker
I always give dues so when the bake was done I did a big shout out to the , ready for it, SuperFantabulous Notetaker Exstroadinaire, hence shortened to SFTlous
it wasn't till later I learned he was d'oh, I'm never on in the mornings, I never needed a notetaker
from then on we buds, we chat and I still say morning SFTlous

the wizard shows up to give hints no improvements and praise, nothing more, he's just there, powers that be know I visual cue, he knows too
go back to that thread, I was told to stay out of it, stand down were my words
all I did was offer to bake so the new baker could learn the ways of things, whatever is messed up in the dough I can fix, mistakes don't bother me, I'm not OCD, I never thought the baker had more of a problem than a bunch of attackers and I pushed back at them, I thought I was in trouble for being "militant" keks, not usually my style past a "fuck off"

The wizard has also been a great support here, and usually appears when you’re under extreme pressure, baking through flaming hot crazy breads or engaging a shill.
He’s only ever given me a little praise, encouragement, through a crazy hot bread and in the case of shills, a rare advice to ‘not go there’, or ‘don’t let them trigger you, baker’.
The wizard sees all, possibly from an experienced baker’s perspective. He’s on our side and I very much appreciate the extremely rare occasions he makes an appearance.
