My commitment to transparency of moderation remains absolute. As I've said before, even if the logs do not show the board staff in a positive light, they will still be posted. The board has already seen these logs anyway, it's more for the benefit of the bibanon that appeared in the IRC channel a few days ago. It seems that /qa/ is looking into the ACK issue and screenshots of the meta thread at the time of the ACK incident are being posted on 4chan. I have no concern about anons from 4chan seeing how this board is moderated.

A couple of anons and a BV with BO access are having a giggle before the thread goes down.

We were all of the mind of taking the thread down anyway. And now it's just people having fun cause someone made some OC and we decided to post it to the board for laughs.

I think the board deserves an explanation for what has been going on.

It's already known that I don't have the enthusiasm to do this anymore. That's not the reason for my absence though, there has been events IRL that I've needed to deal with. A few days ago I returned to the IRC channel to discuss finding another BO for the board. The result of this was a member of the scanlation team potentially putting themselves forward. I gave them access to the BO account. Because I was absent I also gave access to the first BV. What happened in the /upol/ thread was a result of this and the continuing tension between the first and second BV. I have covered the reasons for this in a previous meta post. I will be switching the board log to show a full list of moderator names, so the board can see exactly what went on.

I am now opening up the search for my replacement to the board. For anyone who is interested, I recommended coming and speaking to me in the IRC channel. I will not be making the same mistake as I did with the previous person that tried to replace me. I'll remain in the IRC channel and on the board to offer support and guidance as to exactly how this board runs.

All I can do is apologise for what has happened. I just don't have it in me anymore to be the BO that this board deserves.

I decided to take BO because after a long discussion yesterday I came to the conclusion that it may solve a few problems and differences. Anything's better than the stagnation and hang-ups that's been going on for a year and longer.

The status quo will be exactly the same and I won't do anything that you won't want me to do, which is why it's important to communicate with me.

The course of action is streams (I'll advertise them with my Twitter), spreading the board to the relevant users, and finding a translator to do the work that was stagnated on. The entire mod team needs to be on IRC. No communication barriers or private chats. Thank you.

The 'discord group' is literally one person and it has nothing to do with the board and it isn't a group it's one guy who is my friend and it's not even on discord.

Kolo accused me of being a transgender after he admitted to being underage. The reason we don't like Kolovrat is because he posted black dick and obvious communist propaganda all over the board for years. And we'd tell him to stop and then he'd do it again later. The BO and all of the mods all wanted to fire Kolo and couldn't and over the last year every single one has tried to resign multiple times.

How does it make sense to have a drawthread when the board is specifically for Japanese content? Making the, most likely correct, assumption that the vast majority of this board's population, if not all of it, is not-Japanese.

It seems like this board should lean more toward caring about and appreciating the content of a work than where it comes from. I wouldn't mind getting to see what works from other backgrounds are like. If this leads to the board rapidly going down like some are suggesting I'm obviously against it though as there's no point in ruining the board what's left of it just to include some things. Being able to discuss high-quality imitation yuri would be nice but if it prevents the boards primary focus I can do without.
