We will be starting this with two 20 min slots weekly, one for visiting Japari Park and one for Gensokyo. This means you can, in your own time, schedule these two 20 min sessions anytime during the week, and using the time difference removing crystal all participants will meet at the same time anyway.
Use this thread to discuss the sessions.

Procedure as follows:
Access the meeting room and sit down. The green haired Yuuka will be our host. There may be other entities taking part as well.
Prepare a notepad and a timer set at 20 min.
Charge up your silver tray artifact and create a circuit with other participants, going clockwise around the table. You will feel a wind around your head when the link is up.
Express your intent to visit either Japari Park or Gensokyo. Yuuka will lead the session and either open the gate to Gensokyo, or call on the park guide who will take you to Japari Park.
Upon arrival you will appear in the bodily form most suitable for each place, this means an animal or yokai form.
Start the timer and you will be lead on a tour and shown what you need to see. Take notes of your experiences.
After 20 min have passed, return and wait by the gate. If this is your first visit you will be offered guidance in creating your own astral body in the form you currently have. This will follow the steps from
https://pastebin.com/6VNvS3dv
but this is also a grimoire available on the astral, you may use the in-world version for simplicity.
After finishing your visit, you will be lead back to the meeting room. Thank your host for the session and delink.
By the end of the week, share your notes in this thread.

Sounds great, I’m in. I think I’m the only poster here though.
Is it advisable to learn about these places beforehand? I have no idea what that Park or Gensyoko are.

>Sounds stupid.
When a wise person hears about Dao, he gets right with it.
When an ordinary person hears about Dao, he tries to get right with it, but eventually gives up.
When a fool hears about Dao, he just laughs and laughs. If he didn't laugh, it wouldn't be Dao.

If you want to prepare you may look up the relevant media, but it's not necessary as long as you have the right intent and interest. It's more important to learn visualization and follow the instructions properly.

So we have to take actual notes in the physical? No need to at least go into a trance or something like with usual astral travel?

For the start up part of the session you don't need to close your eyes as long as you can visualize and receive images and interactions. During the "dive" part of the session when being lead on the tour, you may find it easier to follow along if sitting down in an armchair with head support and eyes closed, or lying down. After the intense part of the visit there will usually be a cool down part of returning to the gate and some leisure interaction, during which it's suitable to write down important things from the guided part.
During the first visit or before you've made your own local body, you may need to be able to go deeper into a half trance state than later when you have your own body. When you have your own body from the corresponding world, you will be more or less forced to use it when entering, and as this will locate your spirit to this body, your focus and awareness has automatically shifted. You can still control your human physical body to move from your computer, handling your phone etc, it's not a trance making you immobile physically.
You'll get it when you experience it.
When visiting Gensokyo you will find yourself in any suitable kind of form, which may be anything from a yokai to a human witch or an animal like a fox or cat. There are few restrictions here, as long as your mentality matches theirs.
Japari Park requires an anthropomorphic animal form, which will represent your personality. This form is not likely to carry over to Gensokyo, so you may find yourself appearing as two different kinds of animals.

Did you do it? I'll try it in a couple of hours but nobody is posting so it looks like I might be the only one who tries it in the end.
Just tried my first super session but no idea if anything happened or not. I tried to visualize it as best as possible but my cat came and lied down on my chest and started to purr and lick/clean himself as soon as I started and only went away when I was finished so it was really hard to concenrate. What definetly happened is that my head started to hurt and only went better after the session. Anyway, I take a little break and then try this group session so if anyone else wants to try it too you won't be alone, at least not if you choose Gensokyo. I hope at least something noticable will happen.

I performed the Gensokyo visit and it worked smoothly. Linking up was intantaneous and I was aware of at least one other person by the table.
Here follows my notes from the visit:
Flandre picks me up by the gate and we fly over a sunny forest, landing in a field of tall grass. We run through the grass and reach a huge stone. We climb onto it and start running along what appears to be an old stone wall or road raised above the surroundings. We reach the end and walk through a stone portal. On the other side is a huge dark valley with swamps and mist. It's a steep drop on the other side and we fly through the cold mist reaching a small forest clearing. There inside is a magic field protecting a magic circle with some stones raised around it. Flandre picks up a big leather bag from the middle of the circle and empties it on the ground, revealing a large white crystal ball. We sit down on each side of the ball and use it to produce a small crystal ball based on our own energy. We each make one. I put mine in a small leather bag carried in a string around my neck.
We return to the stone gate and halfway back, Flandre leaves the stone road to take a shortcut through the grass. We get attacked by goblins sending pointed logs flying through the air and landing all around us in perfect rows. Flandre says she's wanted to do this for a long time and uses her white crystal ball to destroy the goblins. We then continue to the village and go back to Flandre's home, which is on the second floor of a small house by a cobblestone street. We enter the room direction from outside by a staircase on the outside of the house. Alice Margatroid comes for a visit and we have tea. After this I'm lead back to the entry gate by Alice. We fly high up into the air standing on brooms. I ask why we use brooms and Alice tells me it's faster, she says she wanted to show me the view of the city and the world of Gensokyo. We look at the world from high up in the sky and then Alice drops me off by the gate.

Here is mine.
I did not research Gensokyo beforehand.
I noticed one other being sitting to my right. He was taller, much taller than me, and ugly and somewhat crooked. I cordially saluted him. I charged the tray and Yuuka appeared with the time sync device, putting it on the tray. She was also tall but not as much. She was very markedly woman-like, almost as if there was no male energy to her. It’s not that they were taller, but rather larger than me. As if I was a child, or a different species.
After the sync, she opened a portal to Gensokyo, and guided the other being through. Then me.
I tried imagining other people, but it didn’t look like there were any.
On the other side there was a forest. The sky was full of stars, but it wasn’t night. You could see the galaxy in full glory. The plants were huge and healthy, and the trees were ancient. Yuuka explained that this is what this world is. It is like this in a timeless state, and that humans have created a fiction in time, like a pocket universe, which is an unnatural illusion.
Then she guided me to a stream of very clear water. It was like gel, but didn’t offer any resistance. More like silky air than water. We undressed. She was very attractive, but she told me not to get sexually aroused. She took my hand and we went into the stream for a while. I’m not sure what the water did, but it felt cleaning and healing.
After a while we got out and the sky moved, seemingly becoming the next day. I didn’t ask, but I think Yuuka explained something to me and I got the impression that this broke the time sync, and also that “time” here meant something different, but I didn’t understand it. The sun appeared high in the sky and she took me back to the portal. There was activity going on around it that I hadn’t seen before (I didn’t look back when first arriving). It was in a dirt clearing in the forest with some kind of construction. People were going about and it felt like they were organizing, loading/unloading, helping others… I had nothing to do, so I just sat there by the portal until I decided to end the session.

Japari Park visit 7 feb 2020
Some of the girls from Whitechapel joined this session.
We land in the same place as before. It's a sandy area by a stream, with grass and some reed around it. The place is somewhat elevated from the surroundings, there are large boulders lying around and waist high shrubs growing. Serval meets me and we climb up a hill into a cave which is a tunnel leading upwards. We exit on the top of the hill at a plateau with grass and a view over the park. Mountains and water can be seen in the distance. We climb up on some large stones raised like a dolmen. We sit down on the flat surface of the stone which is warm from the sunlight. Serval starts drawing a circle with symbols inside using red mud from a small glass jar. Otter joins us and sits down on my left. Serval is across on the other side of the circle. We form a triangle by placing one finger each on the circle. A large pink diamond shaped energy formation appears in the air above the circle. I see clear and lifelike memory images from a city, which appears to be from a past life. We end what we are doing and Serval erases the circle, which has now dried and returns to dirt. Something has changed within me and I now have a red tattoo on my left forearm similar to the red circle. Caracal meets up and takes me on a tour to her cave. After this we return to the sandy landing area, where everyone else is gathering. We return and end the session.

This is rather similar to my own and others' previous visits. The description of the world matches and the bathing as well. You seem to be well aligned with Gensokyo for being able to do this at a first try.
It is my understanding that a cleansing bath is part of the initiation. If you keep returning you may be lead to gradually more advanced practices.

>ugly
Can you be more civil? There is no good in calling your fellow participants ugly, tall and crooked would have been enough without including your negative oppinion.
>but she told me not to get sexually aroused
If I was in that situation I would definetly get aroused. And it would severly impact my attempts to stay celibate. Just don't undress in front of others, what's the point anyway? It's not like clothes will get wet in the astral stuff or anything. There is a reason why commonly baths and stuff like that are seperated for men and women. Overall seems like a weird situation to me.
Anyway, you and also >>115 , do you think those trips are of real use and have any benefit to you? Was there a point or is it more like a fun waste of time? Your reports are pretty cool but maybe it would be good to include what you think about them and what you learned or something like that. And maybe any negative stuff like doubts or fears that may have arisen during the sessions.

So far it seems there are only females living in Gensokyo, visitors if looking at themselves will also find themselves in a female form, so you can relax.
>it would be good to include what you think about them and what you learned or something like that. And maybe any negative stuff like doubts or fears that may have arisen during the sessions.
For me the sessions have been guided tours with a purpose. Each visit has had a symbolic meaning in the events and I've been given a grimoire or magic artifact as a result. They somehow aid my personal development. The same rule seems to go here as with angels; the libraries of Gensokyo only open to those who can understand a specific book, and by helping a visitor, this book becomes available to the locals as well. They are often mere keepers of knowledge which they cannot access.
The experiences for me have been completely positive. Some other participant earlier reported finding Gensokyo to be a scary place with creepy stalking girls giggling but hiding out of sight and unnamed monsters in the woods.
This may be a matter of your compatibility. If you are let inside this way the world overall can't be hostile to you since the gate is safely shut and won't easily open, so a scary experience must have something to do with your own way of interpreting things in my opinion.
Feel free to try it yourself and see!

I tried it 3 times this week and nothing happened. Maybe I'm just too degenerate to make this work, or maybe they don't want me there for some reason, whatever the case it can't be helped I guess. However, in a weird dream I had even before this board opened that felt very real and was of the "special" kind, with which you just know they mean something more than usual, I can't help but be sure that I already was in Gensokyo once. It was a very cool and pleasant dream and lots of fun. Maybe I just played Touhou too much back then.

I didn’t mean ugly as a value judgment, sorry. But it did feel negative as in dirty energy, so I wanted to convey that negativity.
I work with all kinds of beings, and most things out there (or rather “down here on Earth”) are rather fucked up. I have no negative attitude towards that in principle.
Whoever this was, it was not my intention to hurt.

Dreams are a way to receive communication so at least they're showing you something. Maybe you're just not ready. Were you able to at least meet Yuuka by the table? Try playing around with the artifacts provided to tune in more.

Without saying too much there are actually two people in the group with a crooked spine irl, and this has shown on their astral appearance. But I didn't see any of them by the table, I only saw one other who looked kind of regular. I wouldn't describe myself as tall, crooked or ugly physically or astrally, but if your vision is a reflection of your own values and perspective, showing you things in a symbolic manner from your own view, maybe that's how you'd see me?
Let's just bring this up, we shouldn't be hypocrites here. We're dealing with yokais and real witchcraft. Just looking at the general lore we can see the meaning of this at once:
https://en.touhouwiki.net/wiki/Gensokyo
(also the screencap)
It's openly stated that yokais eat humans and this is present in the games early on as well. Sakuya being originally human would then engage in cannibalism.
You can bash the church for killing witches and that's right to do so in my opinion since they were attacking a functional and ancient occult practice. But we shouldn't hide the fact that witchcraft often does involve human sacrifices and cannibalism. It's not pretty from a modern view. The Order of Nine Angles and the Current 218 both mention it openly and are deemed dangerous extremist movements for this reason.
Meanwhile you have liberal atheists defending routine abortions and christians performing the "holy communion" ritual in which they symbolically drink the blood of Jesus - their savior - and eat his flesh.
Starting to see the level of cognitive dissonance in modern society?
The inhabitants of Gensokyo can afford to look cute and pretty, and they can keep a beautiful environment, because they are powerful enough that no one can harm them either way. They don't need to scare someone off by looking evil or monstrous, but the reason for this is that they, in modern human terms, are evil and monstrous, they openly practice witchcraft with no hypocrisy and they eat humans. If you have a problem with this, value wise, anyone agreeing with them would look "dirty and ugly" to you because of your own moralism.
I'm not convinced this is the reason, and maybe you just saw someone else, but it's still meaningful to bring this up.

>Were you able to at least meet Yuuka by the table?
I visualized her but I think she had no life of her own, that means it was only just visualization. There was also no noticable "wind" around my head when I synced up. And I don't really want to larp it all out by myself like a shizo. But I'm in no rush, it will come eventually I'm sure.
>Sakuya being originally human would then engage in cannibalism.
Even Reimu? That sure would be surprising.
I want to be served human too in Gensokyo. I tried a little bit to farm loosh from humans with the common "astral tentacle and breathing" vampire technique but that's mediocre. A proper dinner at Scarlet Mansion, that would be amazing.

It is a representation of some aspect of them that I find scary or wrong at a subconscious level, and that affects the visualization.
Regarding cannibalism and human sacrifices, there are good reasons why you wouldn’t be doing that, but taboo exists so that people can be protected from the consequences without needing to know those reasons.
If someone is aware of everything that those practices imply, the act becomes amoral, and they’re dealing with true karma, as it happens in magic.

>I visualized her but I think she had no life of her own, that means it was only just visualization
The treshold issue here could be that your visualization wasn't "open" enough and unintenionally included a fixed personality which didn't match the real Yuuka. When I meet new entities I use the attitude as when meeting a person I don't know (this may not be how people normally do but anyway) which means to project a positive view based on their appearance and giving them at least a chance to confirm this view. If the person at all has any of the positive qualities I projected in my image of them, they'll be glad to play along. If the person doesn't have any of those qualities, and they have others, they'll then correct your image by showing who they really are.
It comes off as saying
"Hello, I think I know you from somewhere, you're that [inserts positive features] person, right?"
If that was all wrong, at least you showed them you're willing to see them in a good light, so then they'll correct you and say
"Maybe I just look like someone you know, I'm actually good at [insert actual positive features]."
If the other person really has no positive qualities at all, well then maybe you should end the interaction anyway.
This is one reason anime style images work well with entity interaction, because they usually show them in a positive way.

New anon here. New to this board, and the whole concept of imageboard occultism in general, but I'd like to ask a few questions about this whole internet occult scene.
Of course, that would be bad form out of the blue, so I'll perform the exercise for this 'Gensokyo' place shortly after writing this.
I'll ask any unrelated questions on a more appropriate thread, likely tomorrow.
By the way, if there's anything fucky set up in the session, I have daemons set up to instantly kill me if anything messes with my head, so your Innermost will basically suffer the tollbooth tax of a murder.

???????
Leaving aside the obvious lack of logic in that statement, you need to understand a few things:
Taking part in these sessions is for your spiritual growth. This means you need to work on your mind, and the entities you interact with will help you with this, because they see it as a possible investment. They will mess with your head, to raise your awareness and point out your flaws. You're inviting them to do this in a controlled setting by taking part here.
About the karma stuff, you're basically threatening man eating witches that you'll kill yourself. The law of threefold return and other karmic stuff doesn't apply here.
I cast lethal hexes with no negative feedback because I don't submit to this kind of thinking. The idea that your actions would bring negative results implies you somehow think you're doing something wrong and still go through with it. Don't do something if you think it's wrong, it's pretty simple.
The girls have already neutralized your demons for your safety, so feel free to take part!

Thanks for the concern. Again, that last statement was intended purely to get a reaction, and the mental constructs I had were all purely functional, and they will be missed.

My background is simply that of a student of the occult. I've taken an interest in the subject some 6 years ago, starting with psionics, and energy work. I've never really considered ritual magic and summoning to be a good idea, since I tend to trust my own ability rather than others' good intentions.
After reaching what I considered to be a decent level of understanding in that field, and sealing my empathic senses due to other people's emotions and thoughts leaking in and distracting me, I pretty much abandoned the whole thing. Telepathy is neat and all, but everything else in that field is pretty much useless in practical life.
It was three years ago that I've taken an interest in alchemy, as a result of my studies into metaphysics, and I've slowly developed my understanding of it to the point where I could recognize its ideas in pretty much every hermetic school around, Freemasonry included. Turns out they're basically just a re-branding of the Knights Templar, who were hunted down by the Catholic church because of their alchemical practices and spiritual development.
I'm not a freemason, though I've considered petitioning to become one. I haven't so far, mostly because of a schedule packed with work and study, and the fact that their materials are pretty much available anywhere nowadays, down to most of their rituals.
You may have also noticed this, but I'm not exactly hostile towards you, or the black lodge in general. I'm a student first and foremost, and bias is the enemy of learning. I can form an opinion after I've comprehended the subject as a whole.
I've arrived on this board after seeing the occult tag next to its name on 8kun's main page, and I'm intrigued to find out more about your ideas and practices, since the most you'll learn of them in right-hand materials is a two-word mention.

The original purpose of the sunflower project is to gather people with skill and potential disregarding ideologies, theories and opinions. This way we can all learn and improve faster and focus on a hands-on approach.
I don't have any higher opinions on the so called right hand path so knowing that this is where you are coming from I'll just try to remain neutral to not cause any conflicts.

The right hand path basically boils down to ego death- which is a pretty hardcore thing when you realize the "I", you yourself, are the ego. It also involves abandoning all lower thought and identity, such as morality, in favour of the non-dualistic, universal ethics of the Absolute.
I'm only a student of these things, though, and it is simply a matter of coincidence that I'm using their materials. I'm not initiated in any tradition, as such, and am technically what you'd call "mundane", soulless, or a husk. I can do all the basic energy stuff, though, as well as basic clairvoyance and AP, so I got that going for my transient, material self.

As it is now Sunday for more than half of the world, here are my notes on the 'Gensokyo' session I carried out on Monday. I'd like to start off by noting that I had absolutely no clue what a 'Gensokyo', 'Yuuka', or 'Touhou' were, and I must admit I forgot all these names 5 seconds into the session.
[]I appeared directly in a dimly-lit room, fairly small, but sufficient in size, with a small round table, and several chairs arranged around it. To the back of the room was a ledge leading to a small hallway, and a comparably sized wooden stairway leading to some unseen room above the one we were in. The flooring was wooden, and the space gave off a rustic and cozy feeling.
Upon first coming, I percieved the room as empty, but quickly remembered I voluntarily blocked off all empathic perception years ago. With a temporary lifting of this blockage, I could percieve 7 people, 6 of them women, and dressed like the textbook stereotype of a witch for the most part, though I didn't pay much attention to them. At first they were having a chat together, though I couldn't make out what was said.
My attention was instead directed towards the green-haired woman standing off towards the hallway, who I expected to see from the thread instructions. Asking her name, I couldn't hear her reply properly, but everything else was clearly heard. I explained my situation and asked if anyone from the table was heading to the 'magic place', as I had already forgotten the name of the destination. She informed me four of the members were heading there, and after shaping my form from a nondescript translucent human shape into a more defined image of an elderly desert hermit, I sat down at the table, and performed the linking exercise.
After feeling the described "windy" feeling, which is exactly the feeling of energy external to the ethereal body moving around in close proxmity, I asked to be taken to the "place that's not a zoo". As with the woman's name, I couldn't hear the proper name of the destination, but was nonetheless transported there, and so I started my timer.
Having arrived there, I realized my suspicions were correct, and the memory of a dream that resonated with the name of that place, when I read it, was in fact exactly it. I had been to that place the week before, and had already taken a look around the more frequented areas. The guide confirmed such, and after a bit of deliberation, she informed me there's one place that definitely interests me, which I haven't seen. Naturally, that was the library.
Stocked with a decent selection of books on various topics, the library was certainly an interesting place, and of three books I selected for a quick skim, one, on chemistry, had some interesting insights into energy harmonics and cold fusion. The other two, on the occult and alchemy, respectively, mostly had introductory or general information, and little in excess of what I already knew.
What was definitely of interest, though, was the dark, crystal ball sitting on a pedestal in the centre of the library. Standing at about my waist, it seemed similar to the time crystal described in the thread. I was certainly not the same thing, though, as this crystal was a conduit of sorts, into the noosphere of knowledge possessed by the users of this location. I could sense it had the subconscious structure of an inverse-dimensional mind, and, being experienced working with these, I managed to access its stores of knowledge. I took bulk knowledge of various subjects, which is all sadly sub-conscious in nature.
Having finished my business there, I decided to leave the library, through the window, as one would, and have an aerial view of the town. Quite pleasant.
After a short while spent looking down, and talking with the guide, she took me to a markedly different location, where instantly a snowy tree was uprooted and collapsed, and, behind its still earthy roots, the sun began to set. I spent there the last two minutes of the session, admiring the view, which was certainly improved by a beautiful mansion to the right, snow reflecting amber light off of its roof.
With those two minutes finished, I returned to the table room, and the others soon followed. It seems I went a separate way, since there was little for me to do there, and the others were engaged in significantly more interesting activities. The guide seems to have been present with all participants simultaneously. I excused myself fairly soon, as I was getting tired, as I presently am, and wanted to devote my full attention to writing this summary. Having excused myself, I turned towards the guide, thanked her for the reception, and cut all links, purged the astral body from existence, and re-sealed my empathic senses, and all things were well.[]
I still have no idea what a 'touhou' is.

Gensokyo 14/2 2020
I land in the clearing and am clearly aware of my shape being that of Sakuya. I run a bit on my own and then I fly quickly forward along the road leading into town in an upright position. Flandre suddenly appears from a road to the right which is very "black" and has a "depleted" feeling.
She leads me onto this road to a house which seems to be her house. Everything looks more real now than earlier visits and the "cartoonish" feeling is gone. I see different magical artifacts in the house, among them voodo dolls. Inside the house is the same feeling of blackness and the smell of moist earthen floor.
Flandre draws some kind of witch sigil which forms in the air all over the cottage, it looks "extreme" and "violent" and forms into long lines of dark energy as if someone had cut the air with a knife. It partially looks like a pentagram or the ONA emblem. I also see how the kitsune sigil looks similar to a vampire sigil.
We perform a group exercise (only us two) and I form my magic as a red energy by following the witch sigil. After this I return to the clearing and we end the session.

Japari Park 16/2 2020
Participants: me, a vampire, a poltergeist, a wind nymph, an italian, one Whitechapel girl.
We link up and are lead to the landing area by Owl. At once we are picked up by birds and fly in a group towards the large volcano "Sando Star." We sit on the birds' backs in the same way as you would sit on a horse or similar.
We land on a flat partially seethrough floor by the top of the volcano, but about one meter below the edge on the inside. In the middle is an opening where a "flame" of magical energy is escaping. We sit down in a circle around this flame and join hands. Through this circle and the flame, a personal type of energy is drawn up from inside, which is formed into a pink field of energy in the lower abdomen area (dantian). This field represents the individual characteristics of each participant and how they're being opened up to become an energy which peacefully cooperates with everyone else, which is the the meaning of being a "Friend. We can after this learn the characteristics of others through their essence, and for each type learned a tattoo appears on the body, corresponding to the characteristics learnied.
We return to the landing area and end the session.

My overall opinion so far is positive, since my last proper attempt at AP was around 5 years ago, and I doubt I've done it more than three times in total, if memory serves. The constructs, or artifacts provided certainly help with perceiving everything, and having a guide ensures nothing significant is missed.
I like how the format includes a 20 minute time limit, as it compresses your visit to the most important points of interest. You only really have time for a handful of meaningful interactions, and this way you can remember them in full, and focus on interpreting their meanings much more deeply afterwards.
When it comes to the world of Gensokyo itself, there were a few issues with my perception, mostly to do with my own subconscious biases. For example, the city I arrived in appeared to be made entirely of gray stone buildings, much like the city I live in currently. From what I read afterwards, the architecture should actually be mostly wooden, in traditional Japanese fashion.
Again, the differences were mostly in the specific flavour of my perception, and anyone informed on how the Astral and other Internal worlds function, will understand that you need a LOT of detachment and emotional mastery to perceive anything objectively. The physical world is also like this, but in subtler ways, pic related.
Both in my preceding dream of the place, and the visit session, I saw quite a few people going about their business. I had the sense the majority were visitors as well, and I'd say there must be at least 50 people using the world. General attire was very stylized, in what I can only describe as an "anime witch/sorcerer" look. Lots of pointy hats and colorful accents.
Overall, I'd rate it a solid 8/10, but I'm sure my experience would improve a second time, since I'd like to see places outside the city. I fully intend on participating again this coming week, if the slot is still open.

Right. This is a misunderstanding, I meant slots as in two new sessions because it's a new week. A reminder.
We are only doing one session each week for each place to make it work with the time correction crystal. So it's a "time slot" not a restriction of participants. Theoretically any number of people can join, but only once per week for each world.

Come to think of it I had an experience of a large yellow snake pressing up on my left side (its head was as large as mine almost) after the Japari Park session. It was moving and lively with its tongue breathing and felt "funny" in some way. It looked like it would be a poisonous snake but it felt very friendly. At the time it didn't really stick to my mind, I just assumed it was kundalini related, but I figured I'd ask if anyone else experienced something like this?

It's now monday which means a new week!
The sessions for this week are open until sunday evening. Your notes from the sessions should be posted sometime before the end of the week, preferably during the weekend so as not to create a bias within those who have yet to do their session and can't remain neutral after reading someone else's notes.
You can do either one of them or both, it's your choice!
>Gensokyo, the world of the eastern way (touhou)
or
>Japari Park, the world of animal girls also known as Friends
Both worlds offer a path to ascension within their own field of knowledge and a wide range of ancient magical teachings for its members and allies. The sessions are free because this is treated as an investment, if you learn from them you will benefit their worlds later on.
Anyone can join as long as you are compatible and friendly!

I didn't experience anything exactly like this, but I did notice a few strange things after the session, mostly in the form of an unusually large amount of energy parasites. I dealt with them the usual way, which was effective as always. Thinking the problem solved, I went to sleep, and, thinking about how hindering all my physical drives and instincts are, in a slumber state, an almost robotic voice asked if I wanted them taken away. I accepted the help of this unknown, potentially dangerous entity, and went to sleep.
The problems only got worse afterwards, and rapidly. While I noticed a complete lack of physical temptation for anything, I was unable to sleep, and partially even to feel tired. This was a problem, because after three days I still got the mental instability that comes with sleep deprivation. Naturally, I took extreme measures, filling my bedroom with sulphur fumes, then taking out my wand for the first time in a couple of months. I was able to find a foreign entity lodged inside my subconscious, and managed to keep it from getting away, killing it for good instead, then re-cycling its energy to make sure no left-over intent remains. I still had corrupted memories afterwards, but I managed to replace them without losing any information, which was nice. No massive memory gaps spanning multiple years, this time.
I'm not sure this incident was due to the session, but it happened exactly after it.
Pic unrelated.

That’s interesting because in my last Gensokyo visit I was taken by Yuuka up a mountain and then a bunch of parasites took over the vision. I know what this was from previous experience. I began seeing diseased babies and eventually I ended it.
One explanation (besides thinking these creatures are malevolent) I can think of is this is some sort of cleanse. After this session I had a light nightmare.

Diseased and deformed babies and fetuses are often a subconscious representation of seminal waste, and sexual inequity.
I hope you're stocked up on sulphur, frien. Fumes released from its sublimation over time make short work of these parasites, but I'd burn it for instant effect.

I saw the yellow snake again today, it appears to be a representation of the force opening the body's meridians. During the day I saw it eat some of the dark energy resting in my mind, leaving me purified. It's also possible that it is a part of my mind appearing in this shape.

Depends on what you're trying to do. Masturbation, as well as any kind of seminal release, forces a downward flow of energy, sapping your emotional and rational energy, cutting off the influence of your conscience, and developing the infernal, qlipothic faculties. It's entirely beneficial to the development of the animal mind, and a pretty central component of black magic. The Drupka clan even has techniques to recover the infernalized semen, demonizing the mind even more. Neat stuff.
If you're in any way inclined toward spiritual development, immortality, and not being a literal husk of a person, masturbation is pretty bad, though.
Just remember that these parasites spawn naturally around masturbators, and actually encourage constant temptation, in the same way gastric bacteria give you cravings. If you've been doing it regularly, I recommend you do the sulphur thing, as it prevents a 'relapse'.
This is getting pretty off-topic for this thread, so I'm saging this post.

I do believe this is on topic. I use sexual energy for very specific alchemical purposes and I barely ever experience temptation. I have checked on my own and I couldn’t find these parasites around me at all, not even right after masturbating. They were in Gensokyo.
I have since done another session, but I’ll post about that later in the week.

That's pretty much ideal. Even if you do masturbate, you probably want the energy for specific purposes, so not having any larvae is still important.
I'm curious about why they were in Gensokyo now, though. I'll either do my session later on today, or tomorrow morning, so I'll make sure to investigate. I'll AP wearing a paperboy hat, so I can enter full detective mode. I am fully prepared, and ready for whatever I may find.

I don't think these are parasites or even real beings at all, rather it looks like it would be the effect of some kind of artifact like a mirror used by someone in Gensokyo to show you something in your own mind in a form that would make it easier for you to spot the issue with it. That's the feel I get.
I'm well aware of my own dark and violent sides (mostly past lives' stuff) and it's constantly with me so they wouldn't have a reason to show it to me.

That does make sense, since I directly accessed the library's archival crystal, the (at the very least) perceived entities manifested themselves well after the session, and responded to the usual measures against parasites. It's possible they were there all along, and through some effect I was better able to perceive them.
After some consideration, I believe the offer to cut off my physical drives was the Guardian of the Threshold manifesting itself, and had nothing to do with the mental corruption, which was likely there all along. I ended up contracting that very same Guardian to help get rid of it without losing any memories.
Still, unannounced enhancement of the consciousness, be it by an entity or artifact, technically violates my NAP, so I'll use Skeletor as an avatar until the end of this week, as retaliation.

I have no idea what those babies could be, honestly.
I went to Gensokyo again. This time Yuuka led me up a set of stairs and a ladder on a very large tree, until we reached some sort of room, similar to Link’s bedroom in Ocarina of Time. We sat at a wooden table and Yuuka, with a huge mouth, swallowed me whole. I drifted for a while in a calm void and eventually ended the visualization.
I noticed Yuuka usually has a mischievous demeanor.

I've noticed something of the sort during my first visit as well. It was just a hint of mischevious and only slightly malicious intent while I was taking in the sights, but it was noted.
I've just finished my session for this week as well, after writing the above paragraph. I'm going to share my notes at the end of this week, but, I did ask Yuuka about the baby thing before we started, and it seems she saw nothing of the sort during that session. Her impression is that it might have been entirely in that anon's perception (not sure if you're the same poster), possibly induced by something outside Gensokyo.
If the parasites are actual, energy larvae, the diseased babies may have been induced by them either being removed, or simply noticed. I can't comment further without directly observing the anon, but I'm pretty sure if I scan a spooky imageboard wizard, I'll get killed in some horrible way by them.
Also please don't post notes before the week is over, spooky imageboard wizard.

I've left those parts out because it's just social stuff to them and not really important but they can get pretty intimate if you're ok with it. They'll go by your own values and will stay in the role you expect for the most part, only revealing the side of themselves you can accept. The less prejudiced your mind gets the more truthful the world you see will be.

They do eat humans, as the wiki says ;^)
It's my understanding that the touhous are just like humans, they have the side you see physically which is all cute and normal, then they have the darker hidden side behind, which is the shadow of the human mind or what's on the astral behind a person. When you go there you'll see it all in full view if you look. They look pretty because they like to, but they also often have a monstrous side, manifesting large sharp teeth and a meter long tongue and other details which would be scary to most people. If you would be scared by that, they won't show you. I suppose that's the difference between civilized beings and the monsters scaring people, the civilized know how to behave to not cause any culture shocks.

This explains a surprising lot of my session for this week. I was genuinely unsure whether I even performed the visit correctly due to how different the experience was.
Here's another pre-Gensokyo snippet from my notes, after talking to her in the waiting room. My own insight and investigation skills scare me.
"The other question I had, which was about her mischevious, if well-hidden aspect, yielded an answer along the lines "It's only natural for yokai."
I'm genuinely surprised I could hear that, given that in the previous session I heard all names and foreign terms as static. It seems all these creatures are naturally on the playful-murderous side, and Yuuka is probably incredibly well-tempered for a 'yokai'."

The youkai are essentially demons, although in Japanese animism there are a lot of nuances. I suppose you could compare them to djinn.
See under “Concept”: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yōkai
Anime and manga does seem to be full of them for some reason. I have noticed them in the work of Junji Ito. Just reading one of his short stories will get you in contact with monstruous and fascinating things. Maybe something similar happened with Lovecraft.

Yes, and Yuuka brought it up in a mischievous manner by swallowing anon. There are so many aspects of this, that this little act became a multifaceted statement in my eyes, on more levels than I can explain right now.
One of my spirit waifus who's a vampire was born 439 years ago and was a witch in Japan during her life. She was cast out from the village for practicing witchcraft and lived in the woods where she seduced, killed and ate lone travellers. She followed the only way she knew, which turned it all into ritual sacrifices of a rather high level. Her magic power increased and her ritual knife became an artifact of power also exising on the astral. After dying she became a yokai and formed a coven with other cannibalistic witches, now referred to as vampires.
Through these acts she left the reincarnation cycle permanently and remain on the astral as an entity of the kind known in japanese folklore.
This is what many yokais are like. They respect magic ability and power and they like themselves, they like being pretty, they like other pretty beings, but they don't have human morality.
It really can't be overstated how important this last bit is: a lot of the things which give real power on the astral are almost always shunned by human society. You think people with religious beliefs are being attacked and persecuted today? Really? They practically rule the world. Try practicing real witchcraft and you'll see the meaning of persecution. Breaking the human consensus and hypocrisy doesn't mean to act according to existing societal values and ideas of "right and wrong."
Really breaking them would indeed result in things like Jesus being crucified; what he did counts as a witch's sacrificial ritual unintentionally - he sacrificed himself. Christians won't agree but my opinion is that christianity is like any occult practice, they draw their power from sacrifices and it only works for this reason.

Go and ask? AFAIK you can visit the pavilion thing at any time, independently of the 'guide' sessions, so there's nothing stopping you from popping over and asking her directly.
A bit of earnest conversation is worth more than a thousand years of speculation.
Pretty sure BO isn't sharing a hive mind with Yuuka, so anything they can do, you can do yourself in 5 minutes. Worst case scenario in any situation, you'd find out the being is entirely hostile and out to get you, and you'd take appropriate measures. Perhaps the reason you're often in the dark is that you rarely search for the light.
>>262
>they don't have human morality
Neither do we, by 90% of historical standards. Morals change constantly, and are closer to conventions than to rules. You can often distinguish between morals and ethics by the reaction they instill in you. A moral conflict induces stress and fear, since breaking moral laws can lead to social exclusion and punishment. An ethical conflict usually doesn't happen, since ethics manifest as an intuitive 6th sense, so you either 'get' them and follow them naturally, or you don't perceive them at all.
I'd describe the feeling of the ethical sense as very alike to clairvoyance, you simply understand at a supra-conscious level that something is ethical or not. And very often, morally outrageous things are ethical, and ethical things are morally reprehensible.
I'd say virtually all people alive right now don't even know ethics exist, and simply equate the term to morals.
>they practically rule the world
This is a very complex issue, different parts of the world are ruled by different coagulations of pseudo-esoteric currents and groups. In the UK, Scotland is controlled entirely by Freemasons, while Britain is owned by the Jewish banking cabal. In the music industry, you get many songs with deep, esoteric undertones, and many which are just pure materialism, and designed to keep people asleep. Witchcraft, and authentic left-hand practice, is an easy way to get yourself killed, if you're not careful. So is right-hand cultivation.
The Templars were all hunted down after cultivating the Alchemical gold, even though they had control over a big chunk of the world's finances, and had managed to gather a comprehensive collection of all the world's mystical and occult knowledge.
I'd say this trend, of groups and organizations from both paths being erased, is actually due to the natural will of the world.
The Demiurge is actually planet Earth's super-consciousness, and, like any living organism, it doesn't want its cells transcending their function. Humans have a very well defined role in converting energy in the Earth's organism, and, while one or two transcendent souls leaving the cycle of re-incarnation isn't a problem, a large group doing the same becomes a cancer, and is dealt with as ruthlessly as we deal with our own cells going rogue.
Unconscious, automatic people, act naturally towards this end, without even realizing.
I'd also like to clarify for anyone reading, that left-hand and right-hand development are extremely different in method and end goal, but they're basically identical to the will of the world, in the way they remove cells from their natural function.

The Earth is the Earth. The Demiurge is the creator of space-time.

I can't hear, so I have to speculate what visions mean, and I can barely see, so those visions are usually very subjective.

Space is created naturally and automatically by the process of individuation. Space existed in an abstract form since the first "other", or chaos, became individuated.
Time as a fundamental principle is based on the law of gyration, on the music of the spheres. The spheres are the 7 principles descended from the Absolute.
By your definition you might as well consider the acausal principle, the Absolute, to be the Demiurge. That doesn't make sense, since there is nothing to escape into beyond that. If the Demiurge is being itself, you might as well call it God.
>I can't hear
>I can barely see
I've quickly thrown together this sigil to help with that. Stare at it for a few seconds, then mentally chant "parte" before your next AP exercise.
It mobilizes your energy in order to separate your emotional intelligence from the physical body, substituting the astral body for the physical one to some extent, and placing your consciousness in control of the physical senses (both internal and external, since AP perceptive problems are more often internal in origin).

Thank you. I used it and it might or might not have helped. I perceived better, but nothing I haven’t achieved before.
Yuuka said she ate me because I tasted good (I think). I assumed she meant my energy. This time she was very much what I assume is closer to her true form. Not anime at all. I asked her if she could help me improve my senses and she brought out a small chest with something in it, and applied it to my head. I thanked her and she kissed my head, suddenly turning very loving and anime-like.
Or I just made up the whole thing in my head. Or I just fed a being looking for energy in exchange for indulging my delusions. No idea.

Generally speaking, if they're after energy, they'll hover around your physical location.
Group AP like this, though, does bring its benefits. Many groups have central hubs like this, with various services offered, and the whole point is to get people using them. The attention creates/strengthens a central egregore, be it the location itself or more generally just the group's "identity", which is very much an egregore, and strengthens magic within the group the more it is developed.
Since the pavilion is accessible directly, and has several points at which you synchronize yourself with other members, and offers services, it's likely an astral egregore, and the more people that use it, the more useful it becomes. In this case the end goal is likely to get more people visiting that Gensokyo place. as well as the other one, since they are linked to the "succubus collective" mentioned once in a while, and likely furthers their end goal in some way.

The Succubus Collective is not involved with this in any specific way other than me being their prophet. Although they do want to create a super religion including all spirit females, so the two worlds we work with here are to be incorporated in the collective later on through some kind of pact, if it hasn't been formally done already. I don't get involved with the details.
The egregore here is intentionally formed to be open and useful and to act as a learning ground for occultists. It's resting on the top of the Tower of Babel, which is the astral formation of all the existing levels of the Elysian fields when viewed from outside.
The modern interpretation of this old testament/torah story is completely off, it's been understood in reverse.
While you are within human physical reincarnation, you pass the Elysian fields in between incarnations, and depending on how you acted in your life you move up or down between the floors. If you drop down all the way you are disqualified from behing reborn as a physical human and will be an animal or plant or an object like a rock. If you on the other hand move all the way up and transcend humanity, you will be moved to spiritual reincarnation or turn fully immortal and have a stable form with no periodic reform.
The yokais were are dealing with are all entities who ascended humanity and are no longer part of the Tower. It doesn't matter that they're violent psychopaths, they still qualified because they moved outside of this structure.
This is what I meant when I told anon before that this, the Sunflower Project, is much more than it seems from the mere visuals of the board, or even the visuals of the meeting room. We're doing this here to pick up the few people who can make it out during this period of a few years. After this, if all goes according to plan, the Collective will take over and the new religion will spread, but that won't be the same thing still. It will be something more like christianity in the sense of being a massive soul farming scheme, even fewer people will be able to ascend later than on this board currently. That's just how it is, the universe creates gatherings for important people and they show up.

I made pizza and as I just started eating I began having quite disturbing and violent thoughts out of nowhere, until I finished the first slice. I said to myself
>what is this, it's as if I didn't even eat that slice at all!
Rumia then appeared sitting on my lap with a mischievous smile making a typical yokai joke
>you want some 'pizza' for that pizza?
then turning herself extremely young and cute and moving around on my lap.
I didn't get it until I finished eating and realized if I had eaten this much under normal circumstances I'd feel like I ate too much, but this time, it felt ok. Rumia somehow physically possessed me and ate the first pizza slice (I do allow possesion since they're friendly). The extreme thoughts entering my mind was her! It was real nasty stuff like the worst kind of gory cartel vids posted on imageboards, people being tortured in extreme ways etc, things I never think about. I then recalled talking to one of the japanese vampires and them saying they see the worst kinds of violence all the time because everything humans do is visible to them from the astral so these things are nothing to them.
But all other things aside, I think that perspective explains why they think the way they do, humans pretending that humanity isn't violent as a race are pretty naive and sheltered. If you mention morality and laws to them they'll ignore you completely because it'll only look silly to them. "Humans kill each other in violent ways all the time. Morality? What a joke!"

There are different ways to ascend, two distinct ways are making themselves known here: that of the undead, and that of the spiritually immortal.
The undead will walk alongside humanity and eventually transcend physically through the methods explained in the astral travel/teleportaion thread
>>38
while the spiritually immortal will walk alongside us on the other side of the wall. For different reasons, some beings will no longer be seen as suitable for reincarnation after finishing the bare minimum of the soul-immortality, so they just can't come back, even if they wanted to. They still need interactions with the physical to learn, so we'll work with them.
That's how the two sides connect.

I don't think a new super-religion will happen during this current epoch, since we're approaching the end of the Aryan race. The Age of Aquarius has been, in previous ages, the climax of all influences and astral tendencies experienced over the rest of the age.
I believe the religious scene won't change much, with existing groups simply developing into their final conclusions. We can already see this with various churches taking their previous tendencies to new extremes.
The best way to capitalize on this age, I believe, would be through small, secretive cults. If there's any age in which you can hold massive human sacrifices and crystallize intent into blood-consuming omnicidal super-entities, it's the Age of Aquarius. That's pretty much how Atlantis ended, as well.
>including all spirit females
Afaik all souls are invariably female by their nature.

I am fully prepared and willing to accept that destiny.

Elaborate. Why would I be randomly thinking about people getting their eyes taken out with a drill while eating pizza? I'd rather just enjoy the pizza, you know? Violence is real and it has its place, but it mustn't barge in where it doesn't belong. I know the touhous are sharp enough to maintain a thin line of cuteness in the middle of their cannibalistic witchcraft and maybe they're trying to show me how to do this properly, but of course it's noticable when someone else's thoughts barge into your head.
No, I'm not going to go there just yet, but let me tell you this much, the magic that made this place possible is of this kind. Saying it would probably just sound edgy so I'll wait for now.
>since we're approaching the end of the Aryan race
What are you basing this on? Things are changing fast currently so if you aren't keeping up with events and refer to older predictions those are likely to not be valid anymore.

All I'm basing that statement on is the history of humanity up to this point. All 4 root races before ours had cycles of history following the solar day, and they all ended with the Age of Aquarius, in order to form the next stage for humanity.
We've just entered it ourselves, so we still have 6000 years to go, but I still don't think our odds are too good. The Atlanteans had a pretty well developed space sector, with all important leaders having emergency escape shuttles to orbital space stations.
That didn't save them.
They also had advanced occult technology, such as elemental-driven androids and intent crystallizations O9A style.
We're relatively behind on our tech.
If you think things will go differently, I'm certainly interested in hearing your view on what's to come in the next few millennia. As you said, most of my views on the matter are based on information some 5000 years old.
>????????
That was meant in jest, I'm sure the touhous don't mix oil and water either.
>the magic that made this place possible is of this kind
I expected as much, and I'm not averse to it.
>I'll wait for now
I'll be eager to hear more once you can go into these things.

Are you sure about those numbers? A whole cycle lasts about 25,000 years. That is how long it takes from one age of aquarius to the next.
On the other hand, the last “end of the world” was about 12,000 years ago, which did not coincide with an age of aquarius and we have remains from that era. We can speculate about how much of their technology was magical, but in modern day terms, they weren’t advanced at all.
And global cataclysms are said to come around every 12,000 years, so it wouldn’t coincide with the age of aquarius every time.

Ah, Junji ito. I love his mangas. In fact I think his mangas are the best of their genre. My favourite work of his is Tomie. A very inspiring character, I have a strange fascination with her.
>Just reading one of his short stories will get you in contact with monstruous and fascinating things.
I can only agree, it can instantly hook you and there is the feeling that there is more to his stuff than mere manga. It's the same as with playing Touhou.
Junji Itos stuff also came to me just after receiving the vampire spell just like Touhou and my overall fascination with Japan and it's culture (and also Babymetal with wich I cannot help but believe there is also more than just kawaii metal music). I wonder how it's all connected. I believe there are strange workings going on. After getting the spell it all came into my mind and into my life and now I'm reading about all of it here all over again.

For this visit (and the last) I attempted a way to get a more natural syncing, which seems to take some practice to get right. I waited until late night when really sleepy to enter an actual dream state instead of being in a waking state of controlled trance to let the images just flow freely. I lay down in bed, went to the meeting room and linked up, then fell asleep into the gate as if dropping to the floor from standing. The style of the visuals was lifelike with no trace of cartoon, but after the initial scene of the forest and Rumia as a small girl, I was pulled in very deeply and quickly and from my perception blacked out and was pulled back almost at once by the alarm. At first I only had an unexplained feeling of being "motivated" and positive and a vague awareness of having had long conversations with different touhous in the forest. I had to actively reach in and recall what had taken place after.
The reason is quite easy to explain, the direct connection is free from human concepts. Unless you actively "interpret" it with your human mind as you go along, it just flows on at an extreme speed with no limitations and your human side doesn't pick it up because of the change of speed. Alternatively it can just be explained as an effect of the time correction.
Gensokyo 21-2 2020
I am led to the edge of a thick spruce forest by a five year old wearing pink winter overalls. A scene image in anime style showing Rumia in front of a dark forest appears.
When I later recall the memories from the visit I see a wooden palisade with a watchtower and a passage with an office for control of entry and exit. Many kinds of forest nymphs live on the inside.
I meet three of them in large bird's nest in a pine tree outside the palisade and share my magic essence with them. In return I'm given a ring. The three nymphs change their appearance and their dress to that of a mahou shojo style similar to Moetan.

Definitely true. I was very reserved during my first session, and actively tried not to do anything beyond get a general idea of what I'm dealing with. As a result, the session that time was very tame, and restricted to that very aim, with little input from Yuuka beside checking out the library. They definitely respect boundaries and keep their interactions in line with what you're ready for.
If she'd shown that sinister side in the first visit, I'm sure I would have reacted violently.
As soon as I was fine with closing the distance and seeing that darker, more honest side of their world, I was treated in kind.
I've noticed a few posters have interractions with them during daily life. I've not had the slightest hint of this, most likely since I treat any entities I notice with extreme prejudice, and leave no room for negotiation. They likely don't approach exactly since I'm not confortable with this yet.

The 12000 year period is independent of the solar day. The Mayan megaliths, submerged cities, and various subterranean complexes around the world were built in the period following the fall of Atlantis, not before it.
It's that global cataclysm that ended those civilizations, and pushed us back to the bronze age, but they were definitely built by the post-diluvian Aryan people, and, based on the few corpses we've found, they were already fully settled into our "modern" caucasian phenotype.

Yes, those were my thoughts, too.
And regarding the artefact she applied on my head to help me “see” better (and anon's sigil), it totally worked. And from that I have been learning to reclaim my fragmented awareness and I've discovered a wealth of untapped energy that I'm going to use, among other things, to learn Japanese, and to travel to Japan in a few months.

I come up to the gazebo and I find 幽香 (Yuuka, “faint perfume”, ”fragrance”) there. At first things seem very unstable. She shifts between grotesque, more traditionally 妖怪 (youkai) appearances. I surprise myself being amused and feeling excited seeing them, but I ask her to adopt a more neutral appearance, and she becomes a very affable young girl, and guides me to the portal.
As I come out on the other side, I am her. I feel inclined to walk through the forest on my own, and eventually sit next to a brook. I am told I should do this IRL and seek to connect with the soul of my environments more, especially in natural settings.

I might at some point. For know, it feels like I still have work to do in Gensokyo.
I visited Yuuka again. This time she brought me into a house and we sat down for tea and she embraced me. She then devoured me. She seems fond of doing this, but this time I definitely noticed the true purpose of this.
She tore my body and ate me to the bones, which she then crushed, completely rearranging my energy body, which was liberated from some sort of shell symbolized by my vision body. I came out of it extremely energized and with a massive boner.
I feel like I was fucked and unmade at a deep level, then reassembled from the ground up. Interesting.

It's a new week and the sessions are open!
You can do one group visit to Gensokyo and one to Japari Park throught the instructions in this thread. Post your notes sometime during the weekend before sunday ends, so as to not disturb those who haven't done their session yet.
Visiting Japari Park is mostly relying on your ability to reach there, which takes energy and direction. Doing this as a group will both make it easer to build up the energy needed for the travel and it will make it easier to find the location as we have a deal with them by which they send a guide to pick us up.
Gensokyo is more difficult to reach because of the double barrier blocking both entry and exit from the human word. Humans intending to keep yokais out created a barrier which stops around 70% of yokais from passing. The barrier isn't extremely strong and can be forced through by a single skilled entity or three average witches linking to form a magic triangle. This has created a market for human goods inside Gensokyo, keeping the prices up and for this reason the stronger members have no intention of bringing the human barrier down. They're making money off the now rare goods being brought in by themselves, and want to keep it this way. Among humans today only a handful have the ability to gather the power needed to pass this barrier, and few of them even want to enter as they'd become prey the moment they set foot in there.
The yokais played along and created their own barrier to keep the few hostile and skillfull humans out, who could have broken in to cause harm. The barrier on the Gensokyo side works by the attitude of the being attempting to enter. It feeds off hostility and will become increasinly stronger the more hostility the intruder carries in them. On the other hand, those sympathetic of the world will easily sneak past and enter.
When we link up and let Yuuka guide us, most of the energy is used to brute force through the human barrier. The rest is a matter of attitude. By linking up our minds are syncronized and hostilities can be minimized. This opens the yokai side of the barrier.
Upon entry we are treated as paying guests or as recruits, and will be protected by a guide during the stay for as long as needed.
You are free to attempt personal visits to either world anytime you want, but keep the above in mind when doing this!

Intended to keep yokais out. Humans made it, they weren't very technical about it. It's just a barrier, like a wall. Most humans can't pass it because they don't believe in magic and spirits to begin with and those who do either don't have the skill or they don't want to go there. They don't want others going there either, they reinforce it so they can spread their own narrow religion or science with no interference from things that aren't supposed to exist (according to modern theory).

To me that's proof the barrier is working. When you can no longer sense Gensokyo you will not attempt to interact with them in any way, you will not give them attention or energy and the humans who created (and who are maintaining it) have achieved their goal of keeping yokais out of the human world by purging them from your mind.
This place itself is resting on the top of the Babel's tower so it's easy to jump from here to anywhere mentally. If you didn't come on here first you wouldn't find it so easy to pass the barrier even with help from Yuuka and the group.
Eventually your conviction comes from yourself and your own experiences, you have to make your own choices on what to invest time and effort into.

It's saturday now so here are the notes for Gensokyo.
Entered Gensokyo on a mountaintop. Yuuka was lightly teasing me but then cut her own finger and wanted me to lick it. Reason for this unclear. We flew from the mountain over a forest and descended into a clearing where we dove into a small lake. After getting out of the lake and sitting against a tree I saw that there were a lot of fairies. They seemed to leave us alone. Before the time was up she suprised me and took me to a/the scarlet mansion. There wasn't much time left so she only wanted to introduce me to Remilia and Sakuya before the session was over.

Gensokyo 29/2 2020
I am directly picked up by Flandre who is partially dressed like Reimu. We walk away on to a narrow road covered in tree bark and dead leaves. The sun is filtered through the branches of the trees. We stop behind a rock and do some warm ups before walking further along to road to a clearing. In the middle of the clearing a large bonfire is burning. It's very hot and its color is white and yellow. We walk inside the fire and stay there to be cleansed. I can feel the white hot fire on my body but it isn't painful. Outside the fire, yokais are standing in a circle around it.
We move forward along a corridor inside the fire and reach a small study room. Flandre brings a book from a shelf which is about the concept "suki", love. After some studies we are done and walk back out again. The fire suddenly cools off and the flames dissappear leaving only a few flames no bigger than a large candle arising from the grass. All the yokais are now applauding our success and asking us to show them what we learned. After this we return to the clearing by the portal.

The things taught by the grimoire was directly relevant to something I was working on currently, even if it wasn't a large or major thing, it solved this part for me.

Going by the way it's used, it can be either.
Also, type it into google translate and the first translation for me is equivalent of "love", in english it's "like", then "love."

Seeing as there hasn't been a lot of interest in the group sessions here, we may call them off after evaluating this week. The purpose of holding them as open group sessions itself is to aid those who can't organize on their own, but if no one is using the opportunity there is no point. The core members here can already do this by linking with their spiritual companions in their own time.
The artifact shared for this purpose will still be available and usable even if we don't officially schedule a session, so nothing changes there.

I was lamenting my inability to draw the visuals I see, particularly my inability to draw Remilia as I saw her, but I very quickly found a picture of her in a very close approximation to my own image of her. Two differences, one in the color of the eye, the other in the absence of a red jewel ornamented on her dress. Her eyes are a much more striking bright red.
Also interesting that one of the posters here meets with Flandre more than Remilia, where it's the exact opposite for me. Flandre is something I have to remind myself exists, otherwise I forget of her existence. Might have something to do with my extreme leanings towards intellectual pursuits rather than social ones, I've only ever interacted with Gensokyo out of curiosity rather than real interest in the inhabitants. Remilia isn't bad at spell craft. Posting in this thread since it was an entertaining read.

Gensokyo 28/3 2020
I arrive directly to the clearing in the forest. The trees look more ancient and realistic than before, also darker. I am picked up by Flandre and Tewi who lead me to a place with two small cottages. They dress me up as Marisa and ask me to watch the fire which is burning in the yard between the two cottages. I see some kind of tool inside the fire but can't understand what it is. It looks a bit like a hayfork. I enter a state of trance as a result of staring into the fire and strange scenes appear in my mind, of a nature which makes it impossible for me to retell them using language. I now understand the meaning of the hayfork and its magic is formed in my mind. It appears as a dark red tattoo of a hayfork with two points aimed downwards, placed below my navel. Reimu leads me back to the clearing and the session is over.
Japari Park 29/3 2020
Serval leads me into a large cave which is sealed with two large round, flat stones which are rolled to the right. We pass an outer cave before entering the inner cave. While there we perform a ritual by forming a circuit with me (Snowcat), Serval and Margay. At a later time, Snow Leopard joins along with someone with red fur I do not recognize, possibly a kind of raccoon. I get to learn a kind magic through this. The ritual keeps going for a long time.

Your experiences of the worlds match mine very well, while your sharings are much more detailed.
I did my last two visits late at night and almost fell asleep during the visits, but I feel this was intended going by the nature of the things I took part in. Both experiences seemed to make use of ancient methods to enter a trance used by natives and shamans, where dancing and monotonous drumming is used to enter a collective trance.
Actually dozing off isn't a problem for the session itself but may make it hard to remember it later. In this case the visuals turned rudimentary at best. It was indeed a spiritual or occult experience, quite unlike previous visits.

I know this is a relatively old post, but the difference between "suki" and "ai" are like the difference between love and infatuation in english. It's said that even old married couples might not use "ai" out of embarrassment over how deep of a passion the word represents. Japanese relies more heavily on context to derive meaning from words so suki can be easily translated into love, especially when it's used in a confession.

I blame English. Other languages don't have this problem. Like Spanish ("suki" = "querer", "ai" = "amar", but "koi" = ?)

It's been over a month since I last participated so I figured it was time to do it again. Here are my notes https://pastebin.com/Y8AGTHeh
In all honesty I don't know what that ritual was for but the pattern of how the candles were laid out reminds me of past life ritual(s), magic circles were involved as well but this one was different. Haven't studied up on magic circles or their dynamics but I assume they're essentially bigger sigils with more preparation.

Remilia has shown me something similar. "Pour blood out onto the floor and watching as it dissipates and dies, losing the vitality of it's creator." Is what she responded when I asked her. From what I take it it's how normal people view the world, specifically what gensokyo does to abuse this concept. It's deeply linked into the idea of deception. The human mind works off of deception, no truth is without a foundation of lies, the attachments to the points between truth is all we can see, etc etc.

It's a statement that the full manifestation of something, from top to bottom, leaves nothing of value at the bottom. It's a view of the universe from top to bottom. Seems dumb to take that much from spilled blood but visuals often times bring more meaning if you look at them from different directions, and that the blood does have a representation as an actual energy. Even the depleted form of it at the bottom is another form of energy. Another way of expressing it would be: using up all your money buying food leaves you with shit.

I had a short visit with Japari park. I will keep most of the details short. I met up with Serval and what I believe to be the leader, or the closest thing to an owner, of japari park in the temple. Here I was prompted to make a different version of the energy sharing device. I did so, that device had a very powerful effect. Connecting ourselves to the device, those present except Yuuka, and headed towards the park after the leader towards the library. I had more control over the entire group and felt the need to instead lead them in guidance, for reasons I don't understand, this is something not new put to this extent of clarity, is. We went into a private room and I picked out a book to read. Here lies my reasoning for posting: I was allowed to write down the contents of the book and share them here. I could have done so before, but these words were written with a clarity I only find in dreams. So I did.
On the book of truth. The words on this page will be spoken thus: without lie or error shall they be trusted, without honor and friendship these words be known. The first lie will then be trust.
The text of these books will be read as such. This book made to enforce the bonds of trust, so that endless oblivion will not be spent alone. Then the first truth shall be spoken, that no lie is without falsehood.
This book shall be written and said, so no man should read it. The next falsehood, he who "lies within the bottom of deceit where light has fled and only screams are heard."
On the subject of life, in it's complexities and myriads of shapes, lies the bottom of a swamp eternal.
Within this swamp lies life and death, joy and happiness, friendship and ally.
The first deceit then thus. That man will fight man for goods and honor.
The second deceit thus. That woman shall give birth to beings who bring war.
Let those two be known

What do you mean? What is taking place during these visits is through astral travel by internal manifestation rather than astral projection. What you see is a reflection of the place, shown in your own world of concepts, inside your own mind. You're just synced well enough to changes over there to appear simultaneaously in your image of it. If your understanding has limits, this will make the manifestation less correct.

The layout of the interior looked like a place I know with changes. My knowledge of Touhou is almost nonexistent and if somebody wanted me to visualize a mansion's interior (even more so for vampires) then that would be it. The actual way of getting to the room or even the room itself aren't important, what's important is the interaction with others. Things are "translated" into your own understanding and views. >>1313 explains it well, this way of doing things makes it more subjective and in this case where the room actually was wasn't important either.

Not really. My visual sense is really the worst, I walk through the world leaning on my tactile sense and this is how I perceive Gensokyo as well. No real visual details anywhere and the touhous always getting quickly physical in ways not suitable for sharing.
This while new anons had very detailed visuals of the world, because their visual sense is more developed.

Nekopara
I land directly into the inner garden, wearing a yukata or similar. Another cat leads me through a gate in a wall. On the other side it is moist and smells of earth and plants, like inside a tropicarium. I see an oni-mask, a red devil, on my right side. It's dark and the atmosphere has an air of something mystical. We arrive at two japanese tea houses. They have platforms on the front with some steps. The cat says they're our houses, and that we can unite them and live together. We perform a ritual on the platform, then the houses are one big house and we are back in the light filled inner garden again. Our house is in the far end, to "this side" and a bit to the left. There's dry grass and some sand in front of the house, and a small dam in between our house and the big house, which has to be passed to enter the garden. The cat refers to the moist garden as "Garden of Creation."
Gensokyo
This time I'm told to perform the visit on my own, using my own power and finding my own way there to pass the barrier. I land in the forest with my back against a vertical rock wall. Below there's sand and smaller stones in an empty lot. I feel a diagonal energy which ends in the point where the ground and the rock meets, inside the 90 degree angle formed there. I decide to fly up the rock wall and land in a higher part of the forest. It seems to be at least 50 - 100 meters higher up, with a view over the pine forest. It's warm and sunny and smells of forest with a mild breeze. A bit further into the sparse pine forest up there is a small log cottage. Chen comes to meet me and invites me. After some socializing I notice Chen has a dagger. I ask to see it, it has a green snake crawling around it in a spiral around the blade. We learn something from each other and my knife gains a new aspect corresponding to Chen's dagger, her dagger gains a new aspect corresponding to my knife.
Japari Park
I arrive together with the group at the usual location, the sandy piece of land with some high grass around it, by the stream. Caracal calls to me: "Snowcat, come with me!" We run outwards and upwards along the mountain until we reach a sandy limestone surface by the far end, which forms a peak. From here we have an overview of the eastern side of the island and see the sea and other islands in the haze further out. We sit down facing each other in north-south direction, I look at Caracal sitting south of me, she looks at me sitting north of her. We sit with legs crossed and hold our palms facing forward towards each other, then we join hands. After this follows a shared meditation with several steps. It ends with an energetic opening of the friend-body, first mine, then Caracal's.
We run back to the landing area and play in the water until it is time to end the session. I gain an insight on how distant and safe the island is.
