The court ruled 5-0 Tuesday in favor of The Hartford Courant and state Freedom of Information Commission, whose order to police to release shooter Adam Lanza’s belongings was overturned by a lower court judge. It wasn’t immediately clear when the items will be released.
The 20-year-old Lanza fatally shot 20 first-graders and six educators at Sandy Hook Elementary School in 2012 and killed himself as police arrived.

Dublin (AFP) - Ireland's government on Tuesday approved the full excavation of a mass grave of infant and children's remains on the site of a former Catholic home for unmarried mothers.
Significant quantities of baby remains were discovered in an apparent makeshift crypt in the town of Tuam in western Ireland during test excavations between 2016 and 2017.

Many demonstrators carried infant shoes at events during the Pope's weekend-long visit in a bid to evoke the grave and a silent vigil was held in the town.
In addition to uncovering and re-interring child remains, the investigation will attempt to identify those buried at the Bon Secours Mother and Baby Home and make provisions for their memorialisation and conservation of the site.
Initial investigations will focus on remains found in at least 17 of the 20 chambers examined so far.
Eight separate areas warranting further investigation have also been identified, the government said in a statement.
"It has taken us more time than first anticipated to examine the unprecedented technical and legal issues which arise in seeking to appropriately respond to the tragic discovery," Zappone added in her statement.
The government-sanctioned commission was set up following research by a local historian, Catherine Corless, who found that 796 babies and children died at the home between 1925 and 1961 but there were no burial records for them.

This is partially true but contains one glaring error. It's not the "dominant male hierarchy" that did this. It's the Cabal. It was done purposely to denigrate the traditional roles of childbearing and childraising – critical to the continuation of society – and move the role of childraising to the state for indoctrination of the young. And it was done to create an economic climate whereby families had to have two fulltime wage earners to get by. (Used to be that just one primary wage earner could support himself plus his wife plus a 3-kid family.) It was done on purpose to destroy society all right, but it wasn't the "dominant male hierarchy" that did it. It was all cabal. And to make women feel they had no worth unless they were doing full-time work outside the home. And then to continually foment those feelings in women telling them they were becoming "empowered" the more they turned away from childbearing and childrearing, and into a stress-filled jobs in stress-filled workplaces.
Once so indoctrinated, it is difficult for women to relinquish these beliefs.
Return to traditional male and female roles, and an economy that permits this, would do wonders to heal our country/world.

'Classical News' is either true or false. It can be encoded in a bit. If the Allies win at Waterloo, encode it as a zero. If Napoleon wins, it's a one. This 'bit of information' is, at some point, true or false *about the present*. There comes a point where the issue is resolved, and now the information can be propagated. HONG KONG — China officially opened the world’s longest sea bridge on Tuesday after China’s leader, Xi Jinping, and local officials inaugurated the 34-mile structure, which crosses the Pearl River Delta to link Hong Kong with Macau and the mainland Chinese city of Zhuhai.
The project, which includes sections of bridge and artificial islands linked by a four-mile tunnel west of Hong Kong’s airport, went billions of dollars over budget and was delayed by two years. Chinese officials expect the bridge to significantly cut driving time between the two sides of the Pearl River, helping to achieve their vision of a Greater Bay Area, as China calls the effort to knit the region’s cities more closely.
Plans for the opening ceremony were announced just days beforehand, apparently timed to coincide with Mr. Xi’s first trip to the southern province of Guangdong in nearly six years. Mr. Xi’s contribution to the opening event, on an artificial island holding Zhuhai’s port facilities, was modest.

Went to early vote. They still had the computerized voting machines, but I noticed that this time, instead of some big square key thing that they would insert into the machine, an access code was generated and printed out and given to you to personally enter.
Two thoughts.
One, that access code can be tied to you very easily and so it could be possible to know exactly how you voted.

The Texas Democrat party is working overtime to reach out to their voter base–dead people and illegal aliens.
Last week the Texas Democrat party got caught asking non-citizens to register vote and even went as far as sending them applications with the citizenship box pre-checked.
Now dead people are receiving voter registration forms – one Dallas woman has been dead for 29 years.
One woman received voter registrations forms for three of her deceased family members.
CBS DFW reported:
Official voter registration applications have been showing up in the mailboxes of thousands of Texans.
The problem is some applications were sent to people who have been dead for decades.
“I just said this can’t be real,” said Ola Allen of Dallas.
Allen received a voter registration application in the mail addressed to her husband, Eroy. He died nearly three years ago.
She also received an application for her mother who died two years ago.
Allen initially chalked it up to an honest mistake, but then she received another voter registration application. This one Allen said was inexcusable and hurtful. It was addressed to her daughter Karen.
“I just set it down because I lost it. I really lost it,” Allen explained.
Karen is Allen’s youngest daughter. She died when she was 21 years old in 1989.
“My daughter has been gone 20-plus years and this doesn’t do a thing but open up an old wound for me,” Allen said.
Texas Democrat Party Deputy Executive Director Manny Garcia said dead people are receiving voter registration forms because of an honest mistake–the Dem party purchased data sets to reach out to unregistered voters and the data is imperfect.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott said there will be an investigation into the Texas Democrat party after they were caught sending illegal aliens voter registration forms.
“This is being investigated,” said Governor Abbott last Thursday evening, adding there will be “serious consequences” if it turns out to be true.

Anybody looked at the weather for those Central Americans planning to invade America?
As I looked at Hurricane Willa, I thought about the Ten Commandments, and all the bad things that hit the Egyptians as King Ramses challenged the will of God.
The Leftist heathens now make the same mistake, as they put thousands of people potentially in harm’s way.
According to CNN,
Hurricane Willa is nearing the Pacific coast of Mexico as a potentially catastrophic Category 5 storm, after experiencing what the National Hurricane Center called “explosive” strengthening over the past 48 hours.
Willa’s maximum sustained winds, as of Monday morning, were 160 mph, making it a top-of-the-scale hurricane. Its current intensity is slightly more than Hurricane Michael’s when it made landfall in Florida’s Panhandle less than two weeks ago.
The storm has supercharged at an incredible rate since it formed over the weekend. From Sunday morning to Monday morning, Hurricane Willa strengthened 80 mph in only 24 hours, and went from forming into a tropical storm on Saturday morning to a Category 5 in less than 48 hours.
