Michael Feinberg, former FBI Assistant Special Agent in Charge, said Todd Blanche targeted Comey with lawfare to silence a Trump critic.

Alabama man denied bond after being charged with cyberstalking Trump DOJ official

MORGAN CO., Ala. (WAFF) - A Trinity man accused of cyberstalking federal officials appeared in federal court Wednesday morning on charges related to targeting a Department of Justice official who works for President Donald Trump.

Jonathan Cagle told FBI agents he spent the last four years and 14-hour days trying to expose corruption in the government, according to prosecutors. They say he began posting to X about Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon.

In an interview played in court, Cagle told FBI agents that leaders at many federal agencies are bad actors.

FBI agents testified that Cagle had multiple X accounts where he would post antisemitic and anti-government comments.

In a chat room on X that was played in court, Cagle said “They are trying to genocide the white race” when talking about immigrants. He also said government officials need to be “terrified to come into the office.”

He then accused Dhillon of working for the Israeli government and posted threatening messages to X.

The post included Dhillon’s address and used an acronym for a federal public policy group, followed by antisemitic comments and blamed the group for the murder of Charlie Kirk.

POTUS’s statement creates room for an off-ramp in which we avoid a return to fighting and eliminate the need for a formal settlement.

We can withdraw and use sanctions as our blockade. By removing our troops and ships, we deny Iran military targets they can use as leverage, forcing them to engage us diplomatically—Iran would then be inclined to make quiet concessions because they urgently need sanctions relief. This gives us strong leverage on the nuclear issue.

Both Iran and POTUS can tell their domestic audiences they won, saving face and preventing further senseless bloodshed.

UK Government Raises National Terrorism Threat Level to “SEVERE”

The United Kingdom has raised its national terrorism threat level from “substantial” (an attack is likely) to “severe” (an attack is highly likely). This is the second-highest level on the scale and the first time it has reached “severe” in over four years.

In the threat level notice, MI5, the United Kingdom’s domestic counter-intelligence and security agency, referenced the recent stabbing of two Jewish men in North London.

The Gateway Pundit reported the two men were stabbed by a Muslim extremist in front of a Synagogue in London.

"The career FBI agents, the career Secret Service agents that investigated this case, didn't just look at the Instagram post and walk away," he added.

Blanche declined to elaborate on the matter.

Former CNN anchor Jim Acosta has called for the network to fire conservative commentator Scott Jennings following his expletive-filled showdown with a fellow panelist.

“It’s appalling and it’s a fireable offense. I think he should be fired. I’ve been saying for some time he should be fired,” the long-time journalist said on Friday’s (May 1) edition of The Jim Acosta Show, per Fox News Digital.

Acosta was referring to Thursday’s (April 30) episode of CNN NewsNight with Abby Phillip, during which Jennings clashed with MeidasTouch commentator Adam Mockler over President Donald Trump‘s war with Iran. The debate became heated as Mockler pressed Jennings to name “one political concession” the U.S. had received from Iran.

“We all know that Scott Jennings is more than happy to defend a war with a country that starts with letters ‘I-r-a’ that we are currently failing, that is going to put us trillions and trillions of dollars more in debt,” Mockler said. “I was only a few years old while you were in the administration defending prior endless wars. Now this war is failing.”

“Eight weeks is endless to you?” Jennings fired back. “You have the attention span of a gnat?”

Mockler retorted, saying, “Now you’re making condescending remarks because you can’t defend the fact that this war is not going your way.”

As the 23-year-old progressive commentator continued to press for an answer, gesturing with his hands to emphasize his point, Jennings snapped, telling Mockler, “Get your f** hand out of my face!”

Mockler later shared a video of the debate on X, writing, “Scott Jennings claimed I got in his face. Watch what actually happened in the full CNN segment. He throws a personal jab… then folds the second he gets pressed. Scott loves to dish it but can’t take it.”

Acosta, who worked at CNN alongside Jennings for eight years before exiting the network in 2025, praised Phillip for helping calm tensions in the studio. He also reiterated that Jennings’ behavior should result in immediate termination.

“He’s been getting away with this crap for so long,” Acosta stated. “I mean, they should just hand him his boxes today and tell him to get the hell out.” (Oh Costa, just like happened to you that has to make a podcast to fund your family?)
