Ex-Tesla president sold stock worth $274 million since June 10 -SEC filing

Long-time Tesla Inc executive and president Jerome Guillen, who left the company earlier in June, has sold an estimated $274 million worth of shares after exercising stock options since June 10, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

The filing, which was submitted to the SEC on Tuesday, said that Guillen expected to sell 215,718 shares for $129 million that day, and that he offloaded 145,289 shares worth $89.6 million on June 14, and 90,111 shares worth $55 million on June 10. Guillen, a former Mercedes engineer who was with Tesla since 2010, oversaw the company’s entire vehicles business before being named president of the Tesla Heavy Trucking unit in March. He left the company on June 3. The departure of Guillen, one of Tesla’s top four leaders, including Chief Executive Elon Musk, has sparked market concerns about Tesla’s future vehicle programs like the Semi electric truck and new batteries called 4680 cells.

Gordon Johnson, an analyst at GLJ Research, estimated that Guillen has cut his exposure to Tesla from 1.3 million shares a weak ago to about 150,000 as of Friday. “Should TSLA be on the verge of technological and autonomous breakthroughs and breakout 2Q21E deliveries/earnings, as well as EV domination, why has what many assumed was the second most important person at the company (i.e., Jerome Guillen) sold $274mn worth of TSLA stock,” he said in a report. “It could raise some eyebrows for investors,” Wedbush Securities analyst Daniel Ives said, adding that investors are going to watch closely to see if he sells more. Stock options give employees and executives the right to buy their company’s stock at a specified price for a certain period of time. When share prices rise above the exercise price, they can buy the stocks at discounted prices.

It was not immediately known how much Guillen paid to exercise the options.

Although in August 1939 the Soviet Union and Germany had signed a nonaggression treaty, Germany’s June 1941 invasion of the USSR brought their alliance to an end, forcing the Soviets to confront the Nazis as enemies. One of the important goals that was determined upfront in the spring of 2001 before any of these studies started was to have all three protocols vetted outside the CDC prior to the start of the analyses so that consumer advocates could not claim that we were presenting analyses that suited our own goals and biases.

We hypothesized that if we found statistically significant effects at either 18- or 36-month thresholds, we would conclude that vaccinating children early with MMR vaccine could lead to autism-like characteristics or features.

We all met and finalized the study protocol and analysis plan. The goal was to not deviate from the analysis plan to avoid the debacle that occurred with the Verstraeten Thimerosal study published in Pediatrics in 2003.

At the September 5 meeting, we discussed in detail how to code race for both the sample and the birth certificate sample. At the bottom of table 7, it also shows that for the

nonbirth certificate sample, the adjusted race effect statistical significance was huge.

All the authors and I met and decided sometime between August and September 2002not to report any race effects for the paper. Sometime soon after the meeting, where we decided to exclude reporting any race effects, the coauthors scheduled a meeting to destroy documents related to the study.

The remaining four coauthors all met and brought a big garbage can into the meeting room and reviewed and went through all the hard copy documents that we had thought we should discard and put them in a huge garbage can.

However, because I assumed it was illegal and would violate both FOIA and DOJ requests, I kept hard copies of all documents in my office, and I retained all associated computer files.

I believe we intentionally withheld controversial findings from the final draft of the Pediatrics paper.

The National Security Agency (NSA) has agreed to release records on the FBI’s improper spying on thousands of Americans, the secretive agency disclosed in a recent letter.

The agreement may signal a rift between the NSA and the FBI, according to attorney Ty Clevenger.

Clevenger last year filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request on behalf of The Transparency Project, a Texas nonprofit, seeking information on the FBI’s improper searches of intelligence databases for information on 16,000 Americans.

The searches violated rules governing how to use the U.S. government’s foreign intelligence information trove, U.S. District Judge James Boasberg, an Obama nominee who currently presides over the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, wrote in a 2019 memorandum and order that was declassified last year.

The FBI insisted that the queries for all 16,000 people “were reasonably likely to return foreign-intelligence information or evidence of a crime because [redacted],” Boasberg wrote. But the judge found that position “unsupportable,” apart from searches on just seven of the people.

Still, Boasberg allowed the data collection to continue, prompting Elizabeth Goitein, co-director of the Liberty and National Security Program at the Brennan Center for Justice, to lament that court’s decision on the data collection program, authorized by Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), “is even more inexplicable given that the opinion was issued shortly after the government reported submitting FISA applications riddled with errors and omissions in the Carter Page investigation.”

Page was a campaign associate of then-candidate Donald Trump who was illegally surveilled by the FBI.

After the judge’s order was made public, Clevenger filed FOIA requests for information on the improper searches with both the FBI and the NSA.

The FBI rejected the request. In a February letter (pdf), an official told Clevenger that the letter he wrote “does not contain enough descriptive information to permit a search of our records.”

The NSA initially declined the request as well, but later granted an appeal of the decision, Linda Kiyosaki, an NSA official, said in a letter (pdf) this month.

“You had requested all documents, records, and other tangible evidence reflecting the improper surveillance of 16,000 individuals described in a 6 December, 2019, FISC Opinion,” Kiyosaki wrote.

Clevenger believes the NSA’s new position signals a rift between the two agencies, potentially because the FBI has repeatedly abused rules governing searches of the intelligence databases while the NSA has largely not.

…On behalf of The Transparency Project, and as authorized by the Freedom of Information Act, I write to request all documents, records and other tangible evidence reflecting improper surveillance of the [16,000] individuals described above. This request includes, but is not limited to, records reflecting the names and addresses of each such individual, the dates of each improper data search or surveillance, and the search terms employed. This request further includes, but is not limited to, records identifying (1) each and every person involved in improper searches / surveillance of each of the roughly 16,000 individuals, and (2) the public or private entities who employed the persons conducting the searches or surveillance.

On behalf of The Transparency Project, I further request the opportunity to view all documents, records, and other tangible evidence reflecting whether information from the searches / surveillance of the foregoing 16,000 individuals was shared with any persons or entities outside of the FBI, CIA, NSA or ODNI. If, for example, the search results were shared with private contractors, members of Congress, or foreign governments, then records reflecting that should be produced.

As you may recall, Admiral Mike Rogers tried to shut down FBI access to the NSA database in 2016 (while he was serving as NSA director) after learning that FBI contractors were illegally searching the database. Over at The Conservative Treehouse, Sundance has built a solid case that FBI contractors were exploiting the NSA database for opposition research on political enemies (also see here and here and here). One of the contractors with access to the NSA database, for example, appears to be Fusion GPS, which helped Christopher Steele produce the infamous “Russian collusion” dossier. In fact, it appears that one of the mistakes in Steele’s report, i.e., that President Trump’s personnel attorney Michael Cohen made a trip to Prague, was the result of an illegal search of the NSA database (which produced travel records for the wrong “Michael Cohen”).

Given the history of animosity between the FBI and NSA over misuse of the database, I cannot help but wonder whether the NSA is taking a shot at the FBI by preemptively producing the records that the FBI refused to produce, i.e., records of the FBI’s ongoing illegal surveillance of U.S. citizens. The FBI is downright dangerous, and perhaps some patriots at the NSA recognize that. Consider, for example, the growing evidence that the FBI not only infiltrated but helped orchestrate the January 6, 2021 “insurrection” at the U.S. Capitol.

In a separate FOIA request, I have asked for records of illegal surveillance dating back to the beginning of the Obama Administration. It is widely known that the Obama Administration used government resources to spy on the Trump campaign, but sources have told me for several years that Obama & Co. were spying on every candidate in the 2016 election, from Ted Cruz to Bernie Sanders, all for the purpose of helping Hillary Clinton. If you go all the way back to 2008, the number of Americans illegally surveilled could be far higher than 16,000.

A LONG HISTORY OF DIRTY TRICKS

Former FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover was infamous for controlling politicians — including presidents — because he maintained blackmail on most of official Washington. His successors now have access to far more information than Hoover could have imagined, and that potentially gives them leverage over thousands of Americans. I’m particularly curious about whether the FBI has been illegally surveilling federal judges. Imagine, for example, if one or more U.S. district judges in Washington, D.C. were having extramarital affairs, taking money under the table, or hanging around with Jeffrey Epstein. The NSA would have intercepted any incriminating communications, and the FBI would have access to all of them.

Take it one step further. A lot of attorneys have expressed dismay that the once-respected U.S. District Judge Emmett Sullivan went on such a crazy jihad against Gen. Michael Flynn, the first victim of the whole “Russian collusion” scam. Was the FBI pulling Judge Sullivan’s strings? And why do Judge Boasberg and other D.C. judges keep authorizing data intercepts when they know that they FBI is systematically and illegally misusing that data? Better yet, why are so many federal judges in D.C. holding people without bail and in solitary confinement for the misdemeanor offense of illegally entering the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021? Even hard-core leftists like Senators Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren have expressed concern about the draconian treatment of protestors who were not violent and had no previous criminal record. So what is motivating otherwise liberal judges to suddenly behave like Stalinist apparatchiks?

I’m not alleging that the FBI is blackmailing the federal judiciary, but I am saying that possibility needs to be investigated thoroughly. Judicial Watch founder Larry Klayman recently reminded me of his initial success in getting a temporary restraining order in 2013 that barred the NSA’s mass data collection on Fourth Amendment grounds. The U.S. Court of Appeals reversed the temporary restraining order but sent the case back to Judge Leon for further proceedings. Thereafter, according to Larry, Judge Leon made a 180-degree turn and was very hostile to the same arguments that he previously found so compelling. Larry said he asked Judge Leon pointblank whether he had been contacted ex parte by any intelligence agencies, but Judge Leon refused to answer the question. (Incidentally, Judge Leon is a long-time friend of Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager, John Podesta, and Judge Leon has run interference to protect the FBI’s narrative about the 2016 publication of Clinton’s emails by Wikileaks).

Speaking of FBI chicanery, read today’s post in The Gateway Pundit about the FBI’s attempts to hide documents related to the Wikileaks fiasco. And consider this recent court filing about the FBI’s ongoing attempts to hide records about murdered DNC employee Seth Rich (the FBI has gone so far as to lie to federal courts). Tucker Carlson is right about the FBI: it’s dirty, dirty, dirty, and it may be the single greatest threat to our individual liberties.

An article published in the British Medical Journal by Dr. Peter Doshi titled “Covid-19 Vaccines: In The Rush for Regulatory Approval, Do We Need More Data?” raises concerns regarding COVID-19 vaccine rollout, and one of them is the bio-distribution of the vaccine. This refers to the examination and study of where the vaccine and its ingredients go once injected into the body. Having sped up the approval process of these vaccines, it has been claimed that no compromises in the process of examining their safety were made. But the fact that no study for tracking the distribution of the vaccine within the human body was conducted for any of the authorized vaccines, we cannot say this is true.

Dr. Doshi points out that such bio-distribution studies are a standard practice of drug safety testing but “are usually not required for vaccines.” This in itself is concerning. Research regarding the bio-distribution of aluminum containing vaccines, for example, have raised concerns about injected aluminum crossing the blood brain barrier and being distributed throughout the body where it can be detected years after injection. This is important, because vaccines are a different method of delivery than say, ingested aluminum, which the body does a great job of getting rid of through digestion.

Bio-distribution studies weren’t performed for COVID vaccines because data from past studies performed with related, and “mostly unapproved compounds that use the same platform technology” were used to bypass them.

Dr. Doshi points out that,

“Pfizer and Moderna did not respond to The BMJ’s questions regarding why no biodistribution studies were conducted on their novel mRNA products, and none of the companies, nor the FDA, would say whether new biodistribution studies will be required prior to licensure.”

In his article, Dr. Doshi also references a report that Pfizer provided to the Japanese government. In the report there is a table containing lipid nanoparticle bio-distribution data.

This table shows where their surrogate “vaccine” (i.e. represented in the laboratory test by little bubbles of surrogate fat containing an analytical detection marker) ended up in the body of immunized rats, used in the laboratory as surrogates for humans…I would like to highlight some observations. First…a lot of the surrogate vaccine dose remained at the injection site, as one would expect. Remarkably, however, most of the vaccine dose had gone elsewhere….50-75% of the vaccine dose failed to remain at the site of injection. The big question is, where did it go? Looking at the other tissues shows some of the paces it went and accumulated…The surrogate vaccine was circulating in the blood. There is also evidence that a substantial amount of the vaccine went to places like the spleen, liver, ovaries, adrenal glands, and bone marrow. The vaccine went to other places as well, such as testes, lungs, intestines, kidneys, thyroid glands, pituitary gland, uterus, etc. The surrogate vaccine tested in a laboratory setting was widely distributed throughout the laboratory animal’s bodies. – Dr. Byram W. NSA Sullivan: 90-Day COVID Origin Review ‘Will Give Us Some More Clarity’ – Need to Continue ‘Public Pressure’ for Transparency from China

On Friday’s “CBS This Morning,” National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan stated that the 90-day intelligence review on the origins of COVID-19 ordered by President Joe Biden will provide “some more clarity” and we ultimately need access to China, which requires us “to continue to raise the public pressure and do so in a concerted way with allies and partners.”

Sullivan said, “Well, there are two facets to this. One facet is the intelligence community analysis that President Biden asked our intelligence experts to undertake, that’s a 90-day review where we are scrubbing everything we have in terms of our intelligence and where we’re reaching out to allies and partners around the world. That will give us some more clarity. The second facet is what you’re describing, which is ultimately, we need access and the international community needs access to China to be able to get that initial data that will tell us the most about where this virus came from and how it entered into the world. And you’re right, so far China has said, no, we won’t allow that. But we just can’t take the no lying down. We have to continue to raise the public pressure and do so in a concerted way with allies and partners. And that’s why it was so important that at the G7 the world’s democracies came together to insist on a phase-two investigation in China of the origins of COVID-19.”

Iran 'Elects' Mass Murdering Cleric As President

Ebrahim Raisi, the fanatical head of Iran’s judiciary, was elected president in a landslide on Friday — at least, among those who voted.

Many Iranians did not. Less fanatical groups called for a boycott of the election and turnout was down compared to the last presidential election in 2017.

But the election of Raisi was a foregone conclusion. The all-powerful Guardian Council had disqualified any candidate that had the potential to challenge Raisi. Since the Guardian Council is hand-picked by Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, Raisi was obviously his choice all along.

Iran certainly has had some colorful characters as president. The urbane, but doomed, first president was Abolhassan Banisadr, who became a fixture on American television during the hostage crisis. Another character was Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, president from 1989-97. He was reportedly one of the richest men in the world at the time, having stolen billions from the Iranian people.

But President Raisi is the most interesting. No other Iranian president has entered office under sanction by the United States. No other Iranian president has been accused of carrying out mass murder.

Amnesty International wants an official investigation of Raisi to determine his culpability in the extra-judicial executions of thousands of prisoners in the 1980s.

Amnesty International on Saturday renewed a call for Iranian president-elect Ebrahim Raisi to be investigated for his role in what Washington and rights groups have called the extrajudicial executions of thousands of political prisoners in 1988.

Iran has never acknowledged the mass executions and Raisi has never publicly addressed allegations about his role. Some clerics have said the trials were fair, praising the “eliminating” of armed opposition in the early years of the 1979 Islamic revolution.

“The circumstances surrounding the fate of the victims and the whereabouts of their bodies are, to this day, systematically concealed by the Iranian authorities, amounting to ongoing crimes against humanity,” Amnesty Secretary-General Agnès Callamard said in a statement.

It’s not expected that his election will impede Joe Biden’s effort to negotiate a way back into the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran, but you can forget any deals on Iran’s missile program or their support for terrorists. What the U.S. can expect is unrelenting hostility.

To his supporters, Mr. Raisi’s close identification with the supreme leader, and by extension with the Islamic Revolution that brought Iran’s clerical leaders to power in 1979, is part of his appeal. Campaign posters showed Mr. Raisi’s face alongside those of Mr. Khamenei and his predecessor, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, or Maj. Gen. Qassim Suleimani, the Iranian commander whose death in an American airstrike last year prompted an outpouring of grief and anger among Iranians.

Raisi couldn’t end the corruption even if he wasn’t benefitting from it. The Iranian clerical fascists have been robbing the people blind for 40 years. It is they, backed by the powerful Revolutionary Guard Corps, that run the most profitable industries and companies. And if they don’t run them, they take a cut from those who do.

It’s a nice little protection racket that Iran’s religious leaders have going for them. And the only way it will end is when they are overthrown.
