A new scandal erupted last week when her brother insinuated Pope John Paul II - a predecessor of Pope Francis - sought out underage girls to molest

Pope Francis weighed into a decades-old Vatican scandal on Sunday, rejecting insinuations that the late Pope John Paul II sought out underage girls to molest.

The Pontiff's comments were in relation to the disappearance of Emanuela Orlandi, a 15-year-old girl who lived in the Vatican and failed to return home on June 22, 1983.

Her disappearance 40 years ago - after a music lesson in Rome - is one of Italy's most enduring mysteries, and entered a new chapter on Tuesday when her brother Pietro Orlandi met with Vatican chief prosecutor Alessandro Diddi - who Francis himself has given free rein to get to the bottom of the case.

After speaking to Diddi for more than eight hours, Pietro appeared on a television programme where he played part of an audio recording with the voice of a man Orlandi said was part of an organised crime group that Italian media have for decades speculated may have been involved in his sister's disappearance.

The voice of the alleged gangster says that more than 40 years ago, girls were brought into the Vatican to be molested - and that Pope John Paul would go out looking for underage girls.

Orlandi then said in his own words on the show: 'They tell me Wojtyla (Pope John Paul II's surname) used to go out in the evenings with two Polish monsignors and it certainly was not to bless houses'.

Leaked US intel suggests Russia likely to capture key Donbass city – Newsweek

The loss of Artyomovsk/Bakhmut would be a ‘psychological blow’ for Kiev, the documents claim, according to the outlet

Newsweek claims to have obtained overfour dozen leaked US intelligencedocuments that suggest Washington is “meticulously following”the fighting around Artyomovsk, known as Bakhmut in Ukraine, and mapping Russian troop positions, individual cell phones and radars.

The intelligence was apparently gathered through extensive surveillance using a myriad of what the FBI has described as “classified sources and methods.”

Most of the documents shared by the outlet are classified as ‘top secret’ and are part of the trove of Pentagon files which were allegedly uploaded to a gaming web forum by a 21-year-old US National Guardsman. The screenshots of what appear to be presentation slides, show a daily overview of the battlefield around Artyomovsk and other parts of Ukraine and detail the positions of both Russian and Ukrainian forces, approximations of their numbers, ammunition usage rates, and territorial gains and losses.

Theintelligence agenciesseem to believe the city of Artyomovsk, which Kiev considers to be a crucial stronghold for its forces in Donbass,will inevitably fall into Russian hands, dealing a “psychological blow” to Kiev. It also noted that the morale of Ukrainian soldiers near Artyomovsk is “low.”

However, according to Newsweek,Washington does not believe the city to be vitalto the overall conflict and is looking to the future, building up Ukraine’s long-anticipated spring counteroffensive, which is reportedly slated for the end of April.

An earlier report from German news outlet Bild suggested that many Ukrainian troops are not convinced Artyomovsk is worth clinging on to, and are “tense and worried” as Russia takes over the city street by street. Freelance journalist Jan Humin described the situation in the city as “hell” and stated that it was only “a matter of time” before the town was completely captured.

On April 2, fighters from the Wagner Group private military company declared that they had captured the city administration building. Wagner leader Yevgeny Prigozhin claimed the fighting in Artyomovsk has “almost destroyed the Ukrainian army.”

The nearly seven-month long battle for Artyomovsk has by many accounts become the bloodiest battlefield amid the ongoing military conflict between Russia and Ukraine, which began in late February of last year.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has vowed to hold the city at all costs, despite warnings from his Western backers that such efforts risk depleting the country’s forces and hindering Ukraine’s spring counteroffensive.

Why is the US military ceding ground to China? As a new DOD report shows, big defense contractors are middlemen whose main purpose is stock buybacks and dividends.

Before I get to that, I have a few announcements. First, there’s some good BIG-related news. Montana Congressman Ryan Zinke is demanding an investigation into Booz Allen’s Recreation.gov contract and the consulting giant’s control over national parks. As you may recall, I broke the story about Recreation.gov late last year, and the Wall Street Journal did a follow-up on it last week. There’s also a class action complaint against Booz Allen. So yay.

Second, I’ll now be sending occasional shorter missives to paid subscribers. On Wednesday, I sent out a shorter quick read on how Wall Street expects action against drug middlemen. On the eve of Germany’s invasion of Poland in 1939, America was woefully unprepared for a conflict that everyone thought would come. Most strategists knew the nation that could produce more with its industrial base would probably win, and yet even so, the American business world was oblivious. 85% of U.S. factory machinery dated from the 1920s or earlier, and some predated the Civil War.

And the deeper one looked the worse the situation seemed. The next war would be fought at the cutting edge of technology, which is to say, with airplanes. And an air force required the technological marvel of aluminum, which you could only get from the longest-lasting industrial monopoly in U.S. history, the Aluminum Company of America, or Alcoa. Aluminum, light and strong, was also immensely energy-intensive to create, and Alcoa organized production of 100% of it.

The President of Alcoa, Arthur Davis, a hoarder of talent, tools, and inputs like bauxite, wasn’t worried. He had promised there would be no shortage, that Alcoa, modern and sophisticated as it was, could fulfill all military and civilian demand, and then some. Yet even before the entry of America into the war, Davis was proven wrong. Aerospace firms just couldn’t get their hands on enough of the wonder metal.

After America joined the fight, the shortage got worse. “Prime Minister Churchill said of the Royal Air Force that never in history did so many owe so much to so few,” wrote investigative journalist I. F. Stone. “It might be said of us that never did a people do so little with so much,” he added. Politicians were furious at Alcoa, as were military leaders. FDR demanded 50,000 airplanes a year, and the U.S. delivered that, and more. But to do so, the national security apparatus, which has always lurked in the background of monopoly power questions, had to help break Alcoa’s power, through a mammoth antitrust suit, as well as industrial strategy in the form of subsidies to nascent rivals.

Britain’s former PM struck Iraq in 1998 toplease Bill Clinton, according to files published by an investigative website

Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair ordered the 1998 bombing of Iraq despite repeated warnings that such a move was unlawful, according to documents published by Declassified UK on Monday. Blair would follow the same template – insisting that illegal military action was legal – when the UK invaded Iraq in 2003.

The US and UK launched a four-day bombing campaign against Iraq in December 1998, after then-US President Bill Clinton accused Saddam Hussein of breaching commitments to the UN and developing weapons of mass destruction. As many as =•1,400 Iraqi soldiers were killed in strikes== on around 100 military facilities.

In the runup to the bombings,Blair was repeatedly told by his advisersthat using force against Iraqwould be illegalwithout a resolution from the UN Security Council, according to documents from the National Archives cited by Declassified UK, an investigative outlet that focuses on Britain’s military and intelligence agencies.

Attorney General John Morris reportedly told Blair in November 1997 that obtaining a statement from the Security Council would be “an essential precondition” to military action, while Blair’s private secretary, John Holmes, told the prime minister that British law officers and Foreign Secretary Robin Cook had a “serious problem about using force unless the Security Council declares that Iraq is in ‘material breach’ of previous resolutions.”

When the law officers refused to authorize the military to draw up targeting plans, Blair reportedly wrote to Holmes, stating that he found their argument “unconvincing.”

Blair continuously received warnings throughout 1998, the report alleged, with Cook’s private secretary writing to Holmes that February to warn that “the negative implications for international support if we resort to military action without a new resolution would be serious.”

When Blair announced military action to Parliament in November, he declared: “I have no doubt that we have the proper legal authority, as it is contained in successive Security Council resolution documents.” British officials claimed that a 1990 resolution authorizing UN members to force Hussein’s army out of Kuwait gave them permission to intervene again in Iraq, an argument that only the US, Japan, and Portugal supported.

According to the documents,Blair saw bombing Iraq as essentialto maintaining hisclose relationship with Clinton. In a meeting with advisers in November, he supposedly said that failing to intervene would cause “extreme damage” to US-UK relations. That same day, even as his own aides maintained that intervention was illegal, Blair told Clinton that the US “could count on our support.”

Five years later, Blair would find himself in the same situation, when he falsely claimed that Hussein was harboring weapons of mass destruction and invoked earlier Security Council resolutions to justify invading Iraq. Again, Blair was warned by his attorney general that military action would defy international law, and again he pressed ahead regardless.

More than a decade later, a public inquiry found that the legal case for the invasion was “far from satisfactory,” while then-UN Secretary General Kofi Annan maintained from the outset that the war was “illegal.”

NEW YORK (AP) — Two men were arrested Monday on charges that they helped establish a secret police station in New York City on behalf of the Chinese government, and about three dozen officers with China’s national police force were charged with using social media to harass dissidents inside the United States, authorities said Monday.

The cases, taken together, are part of a series of Justice Department prosecutions in recent years aimed at disrupting Chinese government efforts to locate in America pro-democracy activists and others who are openly critical of Beijing’s policies and to suppress their speech.

One of three cases announced Monday concerns a local branch of the Chinese Ministry of Public Security that had operated inside an office building in Manhattan’s Chinatown neighborhood before closing last fall amid an FBI investigation. The two men who were arrested were acting under the direction and control of a Chinese government official and deleted communication with that official from their phones after learning of the FBI’s probe, according to the Justice Department.

“This is a blatant violation of our national sovereignty,” Michael Driscoll, the head of New York’s FBI field office said at a news conference.

The men, identified as “Harry” Lu Jianwang, 61, of the Bronx, and Chen Jinping, 59, of Manhattan, both U.S. citizens, were arrested at their homes on Monday morning.

Attorney Deirdre Vondornum, representing Lu, declined to comment. An email message seeking comment was left with a lawyer for Chen.

At no point did the men register with the Justice Department as agents of a foreign government, U.S. law enforcement officials said. And though the secret police station did perform some basic services, such as helping Chinese citizens renew their Chinese driver’s licenses, it also served a more “sinister” function, including helping the Chinese government locate a pro-democracy activist of Chinese descent living in California, officials said.

Vetter, a manufacturing equipment engineer by trade, understands the critical value of timely and accurate information. “At work, all decisions are data-driven,” he said. “If my source data is not accurate, my company could waste millions of dollars per hour. It’s better to have no data than to have wrong data.”

When asked to describe the importance of accurate election data, Vetter replied, “We citizens have one tool for expressing our voice in this representative government of ours. We have our vote. Asking me the value of my vote is like asking me the value of my freedom.”

As Joe Biden settles back in at the White House after his trip last week to Ireland, investigations by the US Attorney of Delaware and the U.S. House continue on with recent revelations of transactions flagged as SARs, or Suspicious Activity Reports, regarding Hunter Biden’s business dealings with Chinese energy firm CEFC.

Hunter Biden, ironically, accompanied his father on his trip to Ireland this past week. “Ironically”? Why do you say that? Well, it’s not the first time Joe and Hunter traveled to Ireland together nor is it the most interesting.

In March 2022, the Washington Post published an article titled “Inside Hunter Biden’s Multimillion-dollar Deals with a Chinese Energy Company.” The article, surprisingly, was a fair assessment of the evidence that has recently been unearthed from emails contained in Hunter’s now-infamous laptop.

The WaPo article mentions the Chinese Energy conglomerate, CEFC, paying entities controlled by Hunter and his uncle, James Biden, $4.8 million over the course of 14 months.

They mention Hunter adding the names “The Biden Foundation and Hudson West (CEFC-US)” to the office space leased by Hunter’s company, Rosemont Seneca, at the House of Sweden in Washington DC. Hunter also requested keys be made for Gongwen Dong (Chairman Ye CEFC emissary) and Joe, Jill and Jim Biden.

The article even references tense email exchanges between Hunter and his landlords regarding Hunter violating office policies by bringing visitors in through the side entrance and skipping the sign-in policy of the office building. Hunter, of course, cried “racism” after explaining one of the “visitors” was a homeless woman that “he could vouch for”. Another side door visitor was reportedly Lunden Roberts, who would later prove she is the mother to his out-of-wedlock child.

But one statement in the WaPo article is a bit concerning:

In September 2017, Joe Biden traveled to Ireland as a civilian. According to the following emails obtained by MarcoPolo, Joe left on September 11, 2017 on American Airlines Flight 776. Hunter, James, and Jamie Biden would also be on that very same flight, although their itinerary was sent in a separate email.

On August 21, 2017, prior to their planned departure for Ireland, former assistant to the Vice President (VP) Kathy Chung sent an email titled “Memo on Ireland FP Options” to “Jimmy Biden” and “Hunter Biden”. In it, she stated:

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Monday charged cryptocurrency exchange Bittrex Inc and its former CEO William Shihara with operating an unregistered national securities exchange, broker and clearing agency. The SEC alleged in its complaint, which was filed in a U.S. district court in Washington, that Shihara coordinated with crypto asset issuers seeking to make their tokens available for trading on Bittrex's platform to delete public statements that Shihara believed would lead regulators to investigate those token offerings as securities. The SEC also charged Bittrex's foreign affiliate, Bittrex Global GmbH, for failing to register as a national securities exchange in connection with its operation of a single shared order book along with Bittrex. Shihara declined to respond to a request for comment.Bittrex Inc said in a statement that securities were not offered or traded on its platform and that it did not offer products that were investment contracts.

In a separate statement, Bittrex Global said it has no U.S. customers and plans to "vigorously defend" the SEC's allegations in court. Seattle-based Bittrex had previously announced it would shutter its U.S. operations effective April 30 due to "continued regulatory uncertainty." The company's non-U.S. operations are based in Liechtenstein.

The SEC's complaint also alleged that Bittrex from 2017 to 2022 earned at least $1.3 billion in revenues from transaction fees from investors, among other things, while servicing them as a broker, exchange and clearing agency, but failed to register those activities with the SEC. "Today's action, yet again, makes plain that the crypto markets suffer from a lack of regulatory compliance, not a lack of regulatory clarity," SEC Chair Gary Gensler said in a statement. Gensler has previously said that companies that help facilitate transactions in the cryptocurrency market should register with the SEC like other market intermediaries.

Bittrex in October agreed to pay $29 million in fines to the U.S. Treasury Department for "apparent violations" of sanctions on certain countries and anti-money laundering law.

It’s hard to know if the gormless editors at The New York Times suffer from a severe lack of self-awareness — or just an overabundance of chutzpah.

“Will there be a price to pay for profiting from the spread of misinformation?” a Times front-page “news analysis story” asked of Monday’s trial pitting Dominion Voting Systems against Fox News, over claims the network’s reporting and commentary on Trumpist claims of election fraud are defamatory.

That’s beyond rich: Not only does the paper spread muck and bunk; misinformation has been a big commercial winner for the paper of record.

From the get-go (with Paul Krugman’s July 2016 “Siberian Candidate” column days after Trump’s nomination), the Times has been among the worst spreaders of false, shoddily sourced claims about Trump and his supposed Russia-connected misdeeds — including the totally fabricated Steele Dossier.

The paper even shamelessly shared a Pulitzer for coverage of nonexistent Russian interference in the 2016 election.

And it’s not just its endless Russia, Russia, Russia stories. Consider the outlet’s effort to discredit, along similar lines, The Post’s scoop about the 100%-authentic contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop, a story whose willful suppression may have helped swing the election.

On COVID, the paper pushed for the most anti-science policies imaginable, like cruel school closures and universal masking, long after data suggested they weren’t effective.

Recall its now-infamous 1619 Project, a multi-platform, Pulitzer-winning disinfo push hawking the factually inaccurate idea that the American Revolution was undertaken primarily to preserve the slaveholding rights of southern colonies.

How many internal emails from the Times’ own newsroom would express private concerns over coverage, even as bogus stories are rushed into print to juice subscription revenues?

The paper’s been doing land-office business since 2016 in large part because it’s been telling its deep-blue audience exactly the histrionic nonsense it wants to hear.

Shall we ask the Times to share its internal exchanges between reporters, editors and the data analysts in its “audience development” department?

Those would probably reveal how these analysts are ordering up stories on liberal hot-button issues, not because of pure, high journalism intent, but to convert users into subscribers — even if they clearly haven’t got 100% proof or indisputably believe what they are reporting is fact.

Add to that a breed of journo at the Times, imbued with feverish ideological zeal that could easily, in a courtroom, be categorized as “actual malice” against conservative personalities (not just Trump) and institutions.

So when Maureen Dowd said in her rant, sorry, column this weekend that Fox “isn’t a news organization” but “a greedy business” trafficking in falsehoods, she could have been talking about her own employer.

Remember, too, that the Times won a crucial legal victory for US media at the Supreme Court in Times v. Sullivan.

That decision strictly limited the extent to which papers can be sued for defamation of public figures.

Now the same paper cheers on the tearing-down of that standard, just because it sees Fox as a champion of an alternative viewpoint, which it despises.

The Times and the liberal media complex should be careful what they wish for. We wonder whether the Times will like the result if Dominion prevails: namely, its own inevitable comeuppance for publishing newsworthy claims that offend powerful people.

Here’s What A Children’s Hospital Quietly Scrubbed From The Internet Amid Public Backlash Over Gender Transitions

The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) purged its website of numerous videos and documents related to its pediatric gender clinic following public outrage over gender transition procedures being offered to minors there.

Clinic staff encouraged school employees to keep children’s gender identity secret from parents and promoted biomedical interventions for young children in some of the since-removed online resources, which have been saved in online archives.

“In research conducted with colleagues at CHOP, we examined the experience of chest dysphoria and top (masculinizing chest) surgery in transmasculine youth ages 13–21 … Top surgery can vastly improve the lives of transmasculine youth and is critical to their health and well-being,” one document read.

The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), which operates a gender clinic, removed numerous videos and posts discussing childhood gender transitions, including irreversible surgeries, from its website amid public backlash, the Daily Caller News Foundation has learned.

The CHOP Gender and Sexuality Development Program came under scrutiny in September 2022 after some of its training videos on childhood gender transitions were circulated online, and the clinic said it was tightening its security that October due to threats. Resources including videos in which clinic staff promoted cross-sex medical interventions for minors and advised school workers to keep children’s gender identity secret from their families have since disappeared from CHOP’s website; these pages are saved in online archives, but their links either redirect to error pages or go to pages that have been heavily altered with certain links removed.

A CHOP webpage linking to a document that promoted “gender-affirming care” for youth, including mastectomies for girls as young as 13, was saved to online archives in June 2022, but that page had been removed from public view by November. The document was produced by CHOP’s PolicyLab, which conducts research and makes public policy recommendations on health care issues.

“Many transmasculine youth … experience chest dysphoria, which is physical and emotional distress caused by the presence of unwanted breast tissue,” the document read. “In research conducted with colleagues at CHOP, we examined the experience of chest dysphoria and top (masculinizing chest) surgery in transmasculine youth ages 13–21 … Top surgery can vastly improve the lives of transmasculine youth and is critical to their health and well-being.”

The CHOP website also removed the public’s ability to download annual reports on the clinic’s achievements in medicine, outreach and advocacy, which were publicly available as of June 2022 but needed to be requested by email as of January 2023, according to online archives. One such report previously obtained by the DCNF revealed that the clinic had hired a social worker to help minors access “gender-affirming” surgeries by gathering letters of support and requesting that insurance companies cover the procedure.

This is getting censored INSTANTLY. Google, Yandex and Duck Duck have this topic TOTALLY censored. I found several references to this topic via BING on Wordpress, Facebook, Twitter, ALL of the major players, and every last one when clicked went to "account deleted" which left others that found this and posted it in forums hanging high and dry. I then successfully hunted down the original document that was posted to Mozfiles.com (careful, it's huge and could have a virus) but it could also be huge simply because the scans are very detailed. To get it all more manageable, I captured some of the scans and posted them in a quality that is high enough to remain relevant.

This is the first time this info hit a major web site where it can't be censored, ARCHIVE AND POST!!!

Here is what I know from what I have:

There are secret detention centers set up inside various corporations where kids as young as 3 years old are tortured and harvested en masse for adrenochrome. They are called "detention centers" so they can masquarade as juvenile detention centers to the public eye, but you don't detain 3 year olds in such centers, nor do you harvest adrenochrome in legit detention centers. As I always expected, it is unproductive to kill the kids just to harvest this stuff, instead they are obviously repeatedly tortured and then harvested, while being allowed to live. The average age is 9 - 10 years.

Obviously, for satanic services they probably kill the kids for each harvest, but on an industrial scale that's not practical.

OK now, let's go over this:

(on the first 12 pages, posted above, In order, from left to right, the columns give first name, last name, birthday, age, blood type, how long they have been in custody (being harvested), the quality of the adrenochrome, what detention center they are in, the expected year they will be disposed of, if there was a suicide attempt, I don't understand what the next two columns are actually referring to, (probably what country they are being held in and how much adrenochrome they produce each session) and the last column is inmate number. inmate NUMBER. THAT'S RIGHT, THEY HAVE THREE YEAR OLD "inmateS".

page 21 above shows the location of the detention centers, how many kids they have there, and the average age of the kids at each location.

Oh, but this is fake, RIGHT? NOPE.

There is damning emperical evidence here that proves this is legit. Look below page 12 at the top. You can see below the clear print that the scanner scanned through the page to the next page behind it. It's not readable entirely, but if you enhance that section you can clearly see it is a totally separate sheet of paper that does not line up with page 12. This was not hoaxed with "fade". Here is the enhancement of that section:

UPDATE: I also discovered, once I found the original PDF, that the pages that have the retail locations all have the page before them reflected faintly in reverse from when the scanner picked it up through the paper. That is complete confirmation no one hoaxed this, it's a legit scan of the actual document.

LOOK AT THE AGES ABOVE. As you can see, Wooten, Rashad V, has "been in custody" at the "detention center" since he was THREE YEARS AND THREE MONTHS OLD.

HERE IS WHAT IS GOING ON, OBVIOUSLY: The state is stealing these kids via CPS, Hiding what they are doing by calling where they are going "youth detention facilities", - after all, you can't go to one if you're three years old) and then, under the cover of "caring for kids" they are being used to produce adrenochrome until they are finally used up and disposed of. So THERE IT IS.

Anheuser-Busch, the maker of Bud Light, is being accused of discriminatory practices related to a program aimed at providing opportunities to minorities and women.

American First Legal, a conservative legal group set up by former Trump adviser Stephen Miller, filed a federal civil rights lawsuit against the brewing company and sent a letter to the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission alleging it has engaged in discriminatory hiring practices.

West Virginia Lawmaker Elliott Pritt is Fourth Democrat to Switch to Republican Party in Two Months

Just a week ago, Louisiana State Rep. Jeremy LaCombe switched from the Democrat party to Republican.

Now a lawmaker named Elliott Pritt of West Virginia is doing the same. This makes Pritt the fourth Democrat to leave the party and become a Republican in just two months.

Does anyone at the Democrat party ever stop for a moment and ask themselves why this keeps happening?

The Republican supermajority in West Virginia’s House of Delegates grew bigger on Monday after first-term Del. Elliott Pritt switched to the Republican Party, making him the fourth Democrat to change parties nationwide in less than two months.

West Virginia Republican Party broke the news by releasing a statement from the state party chair, Elaine McArdle, saying Pritt will register as a Republican.

“I want to welcome Delegate Elliott Pritt to the Republican Party. Like so many West Virginians, Delegate Pritt has recognized that the Democratic Party of today is not the Democratic Party that our parents grew up with,” McArdle stated.
