31 Reasons Why I Won’t Take the Vaccine

1. 	 	It’s not a vaccine. A vaccine by definition provides immunity to a disease. This does not provide immunity to anything. In a best-case scenario, it merely reduces the chance of getting a severe case of a virus if one catches it. Hence, it is a medical treatment, not a vaccine. I do not want to take a medical treatment for an illness I do not have.

2. 	 	The drug companies, politicians, medical establishment, and media have joined forces to universally refer to this as a vaccine when it is not one, with the intention of manipulating people into feeling safer about undergoing a medical treatment. Because they are being deceitful, I do not trust them, and want nothing to do with their medical treatment.

3. 	 	The presumed benefits of this medical treatment are minimal and would not last long in any case. The establishment acknowledges this, and is already talking about additional shots and ever-increasing numbers of new “vaccines” that would be required on a regular basis. I refuse to turn myself into a chronic patient who receives injections of new pharmaceutical products on a regular basis simply to reduce my chances of getting a severe case of a virus that these injections do not even prevent.

4. 	 	I can reduce my chances of getting a severe case of a virus by strengthening my immune system naturally. In the event I catch a virus, there are vitamins and well-established drugs that have had wonderful results in warding off the illness, without the risks and unknowns of this medical treatment.

5. 	 	The establishment insists that this medical treatment is safe. They cannot possibly know this because the long-term effects are entirely unknown, and will not be known for many years. They may speculate that it is safe, but it is disingenuous for them to make such a claim that cannot possibly be known. Because they are being disingenuous, I do not trust them, and I want no part of their treatment.

6. 	 	The drug companies have zero liability if anything goes wrong, and cannot be sued. Same for the politicians who are pushing this treatment. I will not inject myself with a new, experimental medical device when the people behind it accept no liability or responsibility if something goes wrong. I will not risk my health and my life when they refuse to risk anything.

7. 	 	Israel’s Prime Minister has openly admitted that the Israeli people are the world’s laboratory for this experimental treatment. I am not interested in being a guinea pig or donating my body to science.

8. 	 	Israel agreed to share medical data of its citizens with a foreign drug company as a fundamental part of their agreement to receive this treatment. I never consented for my personal medical data to be shared with any such entity, nor was I even asked. I will not contribute to this sleazy enterprise.

9. 	 	The executives and board members at Pfizer are on record that they have not taken their own treatment, despite all the fanfare and assurances. They are claiming that they would consider it unfair to “cut the line”. This is a preposterous excuse, and it takes an unbelievable amount of chutzpah to even say such a thing. Such a “line” is a figment of their own imagination; if they hogged a couple of injections for themselves no one would cry foul. In addition, billionaires with private jets and private islands are not known for waiting in line until hundreds of millions of peasants all over the world go first to receive anything these billionaires want for themselves.

10. 	 	The establishment media have accepted this preposterous excuse without question or concern. Moreover, they laud Pfizer’s executives for their supposed self-sacrifice in not taking their own experimental treatment until we go first. Since they consider us such fools, I do not trust them, and do not want their new treatment. They can have my place in line. I’ll go to the very back of the line.

11. 	 	Three facts that must be put together:

Bill Gates is touting these vaccines as essential to the survival of the human race.

Bill Gates believes the world has too many people and needs to be “depopulated”.

Bill Gates, perhaps the richest man in the world, has also not been injected. No rush.

Uh, no. I’ll pass on any medical treatments he wants me to take.

I have heard people and local media comment that Covid 19 cases are dropping almost like someone flipped a switch. Wouldn't it be interesting if you could increase or decrease positivity rates at will? Particularly if you linked your lockdown and recovery plans to case positivity as many officials around the world have? I found the switch.

There are a number of flaws identified in this review but I would like to focus on item number three which I have grabbed from the linked paper in different locations. The take away is that the number of PCR cycles is important and over a certain threshold is meaningless. Note that if you increase the cycle count high enough you will likely get a positive result, this is not indicated in the below directly.

"3. The number of amplification cycles (less than 35; preferably 25-30 cycles);

In case of virus detection, >35 cycles only detects signals which do not correlate with infectious virus as determined by isolation in cell culture [reviewed in 2]; if someone is tested by PCR as positive when a threshold of 35 cycles or higher is used (as is the case in most laboratories in Europe & the US), the probability that said person is actually infected is less than 3%, the probability that said result is a false positive is 97%"

"Between 30 and 35 there is a grey area, where a positive test cannot be established with certainty. This area should be excluded. Of course, one could perform 45 PCR cycles, as recommended in the Corman-Drosten WHO-protocol (Figure 4), but then you also have to define a reasonable Ct-value (which should not exceed 30). But an analytical result with a Ct value of 45 is scientifically and diagnostically absolutely meaningless (a reasonable Ct-value should not exceed 30). All this should be communicated very clearly. It is a significant mistake that the Corman-Drosten paper does not mention the maximum Ct value at which a sample can be unambiguously considered as a positive or a negative test-result. This important cycle threshold limit is also not specified in any follow-up submissions to date."

There has recently been "debunked" revised guidance from the WHO about PCR test cycles. Below is a poorly written reuters article "debunking" the new guidance. One quote from the article below that mentions PCR cycles.

"PCR stands for Polymerase Chain Reaction, a process used to amplify DNA, and it is run a certain number of times to detect a virus. Mackay discusses the process in detail here, explaining that to detect an otherwise small amount of viral DNA, laboratory professionals run 40 to 50 cycles of PCR, which can vary by laboratory and testing kit."

Remember, >35 cycles is generally meaningless.

The US CDC doesn't adequately address cycle counts, but they do indicate there are two different test types which I find curious.

Also the CDC answers the question: "If a CT value can be affected by factors like specimen collection, how do I know if my RT-PCR test result is accurate?

In addition to detecting SARS-CoV-2 genetic material, each RT-PCR diagnostic test also detects a small portion of a patient’s genome. Detecting the patient’s genetic material in the specimen confirms the quality of the specimen and the processing steps of the test. If the patient’s genetic material is detected, then we can be reasonably sure that the viral genetic material was not degraded, and the test result is accurate."

My understanding is contamination in a PCR test can produce a false positive. The CDC is telling the lab to use contamination in the sample to determine accuracy. I am not a doctor but DNA contamination is mentioned in other sources I have provided as potential for a false positive.

Have there been any changes in PCR testing protocol? Test suppler? Testing labs?

How many PCR test cycles are considered a cut off for a positive result? Has that number been revised? Is the number used scientifically supported? Show me the data supporting this conclusion.

Has there been any change in positivity reporting related to PCR cycle counts?

PCR testing is not the correct tool for the job and it can be easily modified to increase or decrease positivity rates by changing cycle count. Once you understand this you have to ask the real question. Do asymptomatic cases actually exist or are they false positives based on a flawed testing methodology? You must consider, was the flaw deliberate?

New York Democratic Governor Andrew Cuomo released a statement on Sunday afternoon apologizing for his behavior after two women came forward and claimed that he sexually harassed them while they worked in his administration.

The statement from Cuomo comes after “Lindsey Boylan, a candidate for Manhattan borough president who formerly worked for Cuomo and the state’s economic development agency, revealed in a blog post on Wednesday that the governor had kissed her without her consent and asked her to play strip poker,” Politico reported. “Then, on Saturday, The New York Times reported that Charlotte Bennett, a former executive assistant and health policy adviser to Cuomo, was also sexually harassed by the governor, including inappropriate questions about her sex life.”

“Questions have been raised about some of my past interactions with people in the office,” the statement began. “I never intended to offend anyone or cause any harm. I spend most of my life at work, and colleagues are often also personal friends. At work sometimes I think I am being playful and make jokes that I think are funny. I do, on occasion, tease people in what I think is a good natured way. I do it in public and in private. You have seen me do it at briefings hundreds of times. I have teased people about their personal lives, their relationships, about getting married or not getting married.”

“I mean no offense and only attempt to add some levity and banter to what is a very serious business,” Cuomo continued. “I now understand that my interactions may have been insensitive or too personal and that some of my comments, given my position, made others feel in ways I never intended. I acknowledge some of the things I have said have been misinterpreted as an unwanted flirtation. To the extent anyone felt that way, I am truly sorry about that.”

“To be clear I never inappropriately touched anybody and I never propositioned anybody and I never intended to make anyone feel uncomfortable, but these are allegations that New Yorkers deserve answers to,” the statement concluded. “That’s why I have asked for an outside, independent review that looks at these allegations. Separately, my office has heard anecdotally that some people have reached out to Ms. Bennett to express displeasure about her coming forward. My message to anyone doing that is you have misjudged what matters to me and my administration and you should stop now – period.”

White House Press Secretary discussed the issue on CNN’s “State of the Union” on Sunday, and suggested that Biden believed the essence of the claims that were being made.

“Charlotte should be treated with respect and dignity. So should Lindsey,” Psaki said. “And there should be an independent review looking into these allegations. And that’s certainly something [Biden] supports and we believe should move forward as quickly as possible.”

The American people, regardless of political affiliation, should be bellowing a primal scream of outrage in light of the new evidence–overwhelming evidence at that–of the FBI’s corruption. Permit me to point out some background you need to appreciate the appalling gravity of these documents. In theory the FBI is not supposed to be a Secret Police (i.e., a GESTAPO). No FBI Agent or official is supposed to have the ability to wake up in the morning and decide to start investigating an American citizen just because the Agent does not like what someone has written or said. But we now know that world is our reality.

In theory, Special Prosecutor John Durham, could put the brakes on this lawlessness by indicting and convicting James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, James Baker, Bruce Ohr and others. Do not hold your breath. Durham appears to be a fraud and his failure to act will further embolden the FBI to engage in more illegal acts.

With all the nonsense going on in New York with the son of Mario and big brother of Fredo in regards to his administration hiding nursing home death totals, you just knew that questions were going to be asked in other states also. Well, here in the State of Michigan, one Michiganian ( Fact Check: Hey Michigan, You Are NOT a Michigander.) is asking how our Governor has handled this.

Enter, Charlie LeDuff.

LeDuff is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and currently, the host of the No Bullshit News Hour heard over on the Red Shovel Network here in the Detroit area of the mitten state. For over 20 years he has developed a reputation of taking on stories and subjects that people will ignore or don’t want talked about. With this story, he has taken on a doozy in announcing he is joining forces with the Mackinac Center to sue Governor Whitmer to release the COVID-19 death toll data in nursing homes.

LeDuff announced this action was being taken on his show after speaking with the incredible Janice Dean. The Fox News meteorologist has almost single-handedly made the New York story of how Andrew Cuomo has refused to release similar data in that state after the death of her in-laws last year and made it national news.

Here is what LeDuff said on his show…

The Whitmer administration has not fulfilled my request or our request on the No Bullshit News Hour for COVID death data that may shed light on the true extent of the nursing home devastation. This, in my opinion, is a violation of state law, and more so and this is not an opinion, it is a danger and a disservice to our institutionalized elders who have borne the brunt of the suffering and continue to bear it. (Guv) Cuomo in New York is now under Federal investigation, a second one apparently for misleading the public whose nursing home playbook was copied by (Guv) Whitmer. This in the aftermath of an investigation conducted by the office of the New York State Attorney General, a democrat.

LeDuff continues:

Release the data Madame Governor but she won’t, so Steve Deliee the lead policy lawyer on transparency and open government with the august and well regarded Mackinac Center the non-partisan think tank here in Michigan, they have agreed to take our case to sue the Whitmer administration for the death data in these nursing homes.

Governor Whitmer has decided just to say that she is basing this on the science and the data is enough and should be taken as Gospel, case closed. No elected official nor any administration should be allowed to decide that the very data they are using to implement policy is beyond the examination of the unwashed masses.

LeDuff’s request is reasonable and it is also a shame that no one else who covers the Governor up in Lansing has really dug into this story. Way too many of the decisions of the lockdown Governors and the data they used to justify them are being hidden. Sunlight is said to be the best disinfectant and I have a feeling those being forced to face this sunshine are not going to like it.

In response to a campaign started by disgraced “grim reaper” lawyer Daniel Uhlfelder, Loews Hotels announced last month that they would no longer be hosting a scheduled fundraiser for Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) in Florida on grounds that the chain was “opposed” to anyone who “supported and incited” the actions of the Capitol rioters.

“We are horrified and opposed to the events at the Capitol and all who supported and incited the actions,” Loews said in a tweet at the time. “In light of those events and for the safety of our guests and team members, we have informed the host of the Feb. fundraiser that it will no longer be held at Loews Hotels.”

As CPAC got underway a few days ago in Orlando, Florida, leftists who apparently just figured out that the annual conservative conference was being held at the Hyatt Regency took to the Twitter machine to demand Hyatt cancel hosting the event, suggesting that if Hyatt didn’t meet their demands they’d be boycotting their hotels in the future.

Those calls escalated this weekend when Twitter leftists began making idiotic comparisons between the CPAC stage and Nazi symbolism:

BRECKENRIDGE, Colo. – The Breckenridge Town Council is taking steps to protect frontline workers during spring break.

Council members plan to hire two security guards to help enforce public health orders during the two-week spring break peak in mid-March.

Town Manager Rick Holman told council members on Tuesday that a lot of businesses are struggling, and that it has a little bit to do with the "attitude" of some people in town.

He explained that some visitors are giving frontline workers grief when reminded about the mask requirement.

The ski town has instituted a mandatory mask zone in the downtown area.

Between killing thousands of elderly folks with his deadly nursing home COVID-19 policy, and the now two allegations of sexual harassment, the Emmy Award-winning Governor Andrew Cuomo has found himself lacking in political capital recently… and it just got worse.

House SpeakerNancy Pelosi has finally spoken out about the allegations against the governor, and called both of the charges made against him “credible.”

“The women who have come forward with serious and credible charges against Governor Cuomo deserve to be heard and to be treated with dignity,” Pelosi said in an exclusive statement provided to Fox News. “The independent investigation must have due process and respect for everyone involved.”

On Friday, the New York Times published the accusations of a second former Cuomo aide, Charlotte Bennett, 25, who said that when she was alone with Cuomo in his office, the governor asked her about her sex life. She claimed he asked if she “had ever been with an older man,” and made other suggestive comments that made her believe she was being propositioned for sex. Bennett’s accusations came on the heels of another former aide, Lindsey Boylan, detailing the sexual harassment she allegedly experienced from the disgraced governor. Boylan originally came forward in December, in a blog post on Medium, which we reported here at PJ Media, but the mainstream media wasn’t particularly interested in the story at the time.

Prior to these recent allegations gaining traction in the media, a growing number of Democrats in the New York state senate had already tried to strip Cuomo of his emergency COVID powers, and he faced calls for him to be impeached and prosecuted for his cover-up of nursing home COVID deaths. The sexual harassment allegations on top of that are likely too much for him to overcome and restore his legacy.

Cuomo has denied any wrongdoing.

“I never made advances toward Ms. Bennett nor did I ever intend to act in any way that was inappropriate,” Cuomo said in a statement. “The last thing I would ever have wanted was to make her feel any of the things that are being reported.”

Prior to the recent controversies finally getting noticed by the mainstream media, Cuomo had been talked about as a potential presidential candidate, and even a replacement for Biden on the 2020 ballot. Cuomo was also rumored to be on Joe Biden’s shortlist for U.S. attorney general. Last year, Biden called Cuomo’s leadership during the pandemic the “gold standard.” The White House has since refused to condemn Cuomo over the nursing home COVID scandal. But, that may not matter.With Speaker Pelosi calling the allegations against Cuomo credible, his political future went from “in doubt” to “pretty much over.”

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of one of our own here at Breitbart News. Mike Flynn has passed away.

Mike was well known and liked by a great many people, both in Washington, DC and across the conservative movement and we have little doubt additional tributes will be pouring in in the days ahead.

His wife Holly Flynn Pitt-Young released the following statement:

It is with extreme sadness and heartbreak to announce that Mike Flynn, an Editor at Breitbart News, unexpectedly passed away Thursday evening.

While Mike had many accomplishments, what he was most proud of, was being an amazing father, husband, son, and friend to all who knew him.

The family wishes for privacy at this difficult time.

Mike is also survived by a daughter Riley Flynn, through a previous marriage to Maura Flynn.

“Mike was a dear friend and was there in the trenches with us from the beginning. He was our original editor of the Big Government website and is and will forever remain an indelible part of Breitbart. Our hearts, thoughts and prayers go out to his family on this terrible night. Mike will be sorely missed,” said Larry Solov, President and CEO of Breitbart News Network.

Added Breitbart News Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow, “Mike Flynn was an integral part of the Breitbart News team from the very beginning. Andrew hand-picked him to launch BigGovernment.com and guide our coverage of the ACORN sting videos that put Breitbart.com on the map. He continued to provide institutional political knowledge that was indispensable for our development as a news network. He was also a great patriot and friend.”

“Mike was a fighter, first and foremost. Whether he was running for Congress, serving as a Cruz delegate, or driving narratives on the pages of Breitbart News, he lived his life to advance the cause of liberty,” said Breitbart Executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon.

Reached for comment, Mike’s good friend blogger Jim Hoft said:

Mike Flynn was a dear friend. We attended several Tea Party rallies and conventions together in 2009 and 2010. He was always steady, kind, smart and fun. He was one of Andrew Breitbart’s original warriors. In 2013 when I became deathly ill and nearly died from a sepsis infection Mike wrote my assistant and volunteered to post articles until I was well again. I was so touched when I heard the news. Mike and the Breitbart family filled in for me for weeks until I was well enough to resume posting. I will never forget his kindness. When I spoke with him this week we agreed to meet up in Cleveland. I will miss him dearly. He was a good man and a good friend. Rest in peace.

More details about Mike Flynn's death have been released by his family.

They've revealed that the former Quincian, an editor for Breitbart dot com, died Thursday night of a heart attack in Washington DC. Flynn was an editor for Breitbart's Big Government web site, and ran un-successfully last year for the GOP nomination for Illinois's 18th District Congressional seat. In an appearance on WTAD's Morning Meeting last year, Flynn talked about why he wanted to serve in Congress.

Study uncovers flaws in process for maintaining state voter rolls

States regularly use administrative records, such as motor-vehicle data, in determining whether people have moved to prune their voter rolls. A Yale-led study of this process in Wisconsin shows that a significant percentage of registered voters are incorrectly identified as having changed addresses, potentially endangering their right to vote.

The study, published in the journal Science Advances, found that at least 4% of people listed as suspected "movers" cast ballots in 2018 elections using addresses that were wrongly flagged as out of date. Minority voters were twice as likely as white voters to cast their ballot with their original address of registration after the state marked them as having moved, the study showed.

The findings suggest that states should more clearly communicate the processes they use to update voter-registration files and that a more robust effort is required to confirm whether individuals have moved before they are removed from the voter rolls, said Yale political scientist Gregory A. Huber, the study's lead author.

"The process of maintaining states' voter-registration files cries out for greater transparency," said Huber, the Forst Family Professor of Political Science in the Faculty of Arts & Sciences. "Our work shows that significant numbers of people are at risk of being disenfranchised, particularly those from minority groups.

"Unfortunately, we don't know enough about the process used to prune voter rolls nationwide to understand why mistakes occur and how to prevent them."

Regularly updating voter rolls prevents registration files from becoming bloated with individuals who have died, moved away, or are otherwise no longer eligible to vote. When these rolls swell with ineligible voters, it raises concerns about potential fraud (although there is little evidence it causes unlawful voting, Huber says) and creates headaches for political campaigns, which rely on accurate registration records to reach potential voters.

Americans are not obligated to inform local election officials when they move to a new address, but federal law mandates that states identify changes in residence among registered voters. To better accomplish this task, 30 states, including Wisconsin, and the District of Columbia have formed the Electronic Registration Information Center (ERIC), a non-profit organization that assists them in improving the accuracy of their voter rolls.

ERIC uses various administrative records, including motor vehicle data, change of address information from the U.S. Postal Service, and the Social Security Administration's master death file, to flag registrations that are potentially out of date. It provides states a "movers list" of people who likely have changed residences. The states contact listed individuals, often by sending them postcards they can use to confirm their address. If people do not return the postcards, their registration can be inactivated, starting the process for removal.

Federal privacy protections and ERIC's agreements with member states prohibit the organization from disclosing who is marked as having moved and on what basis they were flagged as such, making it difficult to examine its process. However, after submitting a Wisconsin Freedom of Information Act request, Huber and his co-authors obtained special "movers poll books" from the state which list all people who were marked as suspected movers and who did not respond to the postcard notification. Individuals in the books who showed up to vote in 2018 signed their names in these books, providing evidence that they voted at addresses that had been flagged as invalid.

Politicization of the COVID-19 pandemic had a powerful influence over adherence to social distancing guidelines in the United States and why people did, or did not, comply during the lockdown days, a new study has found.

The analysis boiled down to whom study participants trusted most: scientists or President Donald Trump.

"People who expressed a great deal of faith in President Trump, who thought he was doing an effective job of guiding us through the pandemic, were less likely to socially distance," said Russell Fazio, senior author of the study and a professor of psychology at The Ohio State University. "In contrast, the people who expressed a great deal of trust in scientists showed the exact opposite pattern: They were more likely to engage in social distancing.

"We were getting two-sided messages at the time from our government officials and public health scientists, so we had these two sources that were, in effect, working in opposition to one another. That pointed to the politicization of the pandemic."

The study is published today in PLOS ONE.

Fazio's lab studies how personal beliefs and attitudes influence behavior. When COVID-19's emergence in the United States led to lockdowns and stay-at-home orders, the national directive to socially distance became an enormous science experiment.

"On the basis of everything we've known for decades of social psychology, it seemed clear that people's pre-existing beliefs would affect their interpretations of the seriousness of the pandemic and the extent to which they would comply with these recommendations," Fazio said. "We thought we needed to directly assess that empirically, find out who was indeed complying or not complying, and get some idea about which beliefs mattered."

The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign That Saved the 2020 Election

A weird thing happened right after the Nov. 3 election: nothing.

The nation was braced for chaos. Liberal groups had vowed to take to the streets, planning hundreds of protests across the country. Right-wing militias were girding for battle. In a poll before Election Day, 75% of Americans voiced concern about violence.

Instead, an eerie quiet descended. As President Trump refused to concede, the response was not mass action but crickets. When media organizations called the race for Joe Biden on Nov. 7, jubilation broke out instead, as people thronged cities across the U.S. to celebrate the democratic process that resulted in Trump’s ouster.

A second odd thing happened amid Trump’s attempts to reverse the result: corporate America turned on him. Hundreds of major business leaders, many of whom had backed Trump’s candidacy and supported his policies, called on him to concede. To the President, something felt amiss. “It was all very, very strange,” Trump said on Dec. 2. “Within days after the election, we witnessed an orchestrated effort to anoint the winner, even while many key states were still being counted.”

In a way, Trump was right.

There was a conspiracy unfolding behind the scenes, one that both curtailed the protests and coordinated the resistance from CEOs. Both surprises were the result of an informal alliance between left-wing activists and business titans. The pact was formalized in a terse, little-noticed joint statement of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and AFL-CIO published on Election Day. Both sides would come to see it as a sort of implicit bargain–inspired by the summer’s massive, sometimes destructive racial-justice protests–in which the forces of labor came together with the forces of capital to keep the peace and oppose Trump’s assault on democracy.

The handshake between business and labor was just one component of a vast, cross-partisan campaign to protect the election–an extraordinary shadow effort dedicated not to winning the vote but to ensuring it would be free and fair, credible and uncorrupted. For more than a year, a loosely organized coalition of operatives scrambled to shore up America’s institutions as they came under simultaneous attack from a remorseless pandemic and an autocratically inclined President. Though much of this activity took place on the left, it was separate from the Biden campaign and crossed ideological lines, with crucial contributions by nonpartisan and conservative actors. The scenario the shadow campaigners were desperate to stop was not a Trump victory. It was an election so calamitous that no result could be discerned at all, a failure of the central act of democratic self-governance that has been a hallmark of America since its founding.

Their work touched every aspect of the election. They got states to change voting systems and laws and helped secure hundreds of millions in public and private funding. They fended off voter-suppression lawsuits, recruited armies of poll workers and got millions of people to vote by mail for the first time. They successfully pressured social media companies to take a harder line against disinformation and used data-driven strategies to fight viral smears. They executed national public-awareness campaigns that helped Americans understand how the vote count would unfold over days or weeks, preventing Trump’s conspiracy theories and false claims of victory from getting more traction. After Election Day, they monitored every pressure point to ensure that Trump could not overturn the result. “The untold story of the election is the thousands of people of both parties who accomplished the triumph of American democracy at its very foundation,” says Norm Eisen, a prominent lawyer and former Obama Administration official who recruited Republicans and Democrats to the board of the Voter Protection Program.

Nicolas Sarkozy, who served as French president between 2007 and 2012, has been found guilty of corruption.

He was given a three-year jail term, with two suspended. However, he will be allowed to serve the term under house arrest, wearing an electronic tag. His former lawyer Thierry Herzog and magistrate Gilbert Azibert received the same sentences.

Sarkozy has been convicted of trying to bribe Azibert by offering him a prestigious job in return for information about a criminal enquiry into his party.

The former president is expected to appeal the verdict. He is also facing a separate trial into alleged fraudulent overspending during his 2012 re-election campaign.

Four people were arrested in Texas last month on 150 counts of voter fraud dating back to the 2018 Medina County Primary Election, according to reports.

The Texas attorney general’s Election Fraud Unit on Feb. 11 arrested Medina County Justice of the Peace Tomas Ramirez, and earlier detained Leonor Rivas Garza, Eva Ann Martinez and Mary Balderrama on election fraud allegations, News4SA reported.

According to a release from Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s office, the case involved allegations of vote harvesting at assisted living centers in Medina County in the 2018 Medina County Primary Election.

Ramirez faces one count of organized election fraud, one count of assisting voter voting ballot by mail, and 17 counts of unlawful possession of a ballot or ballot envelope, according to the news outlet.

Balderrama is charged with one count of organized election fraud, nine counts of illegal voting, two counts of unlawful possession of ballot or ballot envelope, one count of mail ballot application, two counts of unlawfully assisting voter voting by mail, two counts of tampering with government record, and eight counts of election fraud.

"Prohibited from nearly every other trade, some Jews began to occupy an economic niche as moneylenders in the Middle Ages. Only they were allowed to take interest on loans, since—while the Church condemned usury universally—canon law was only applied to Christians and not to Jews. Eventually, a sizable sector of the European Jewish community were engaged in financial occupations, and the community was a financially highly successful part of the medieval economy.[3][4]

The religious restrictions on moneylending had inadvertently created a source of monopoly rents, causing profits associated with moneylending to be higher than they otherwise would have been.[5] By most parameters, the standard of living of the Jewish community in Early Medieval period was at least equal to that of the lower nobility.[6] However, despite this economic prosperity, the community was not safe: religious hostility increased to the extent that it manifested itself in the form of massacres and expulsions, culminating in the repetitive expulsion of all Jews from various parts of Western Europe in the late medieval period.

Although the phenomenon of "Court Jewry" did not occur until the early 17th century, examples of what would be later called court Jews can be found earlier in Jewish moneylenders who accumulated enough capital to finance the royalty and the nobility.

Among them was Josce of Gloucester, the Jewish financier who funded Richard de Clare, 2nd Earl of Pembroke's conquest of Ireland in 1170,[7] and Aaron of Lincoln, presumably the wealthiest individual in 12th-century Britain, who left an estate of about £100,000.[5][8]

Also notable was Vivelin of Strasbourg, one of the wealthiest persons in Europe in the early 14th century, who lent 340,000 florins to Edward III of England on the eve of the Hundred Years' War, in 1339.[9]

By the 16th century, Jewish financiers became increasingly connected to rulers and courts.

Josef Goldschmidt (d. 1572) of Frankfurt, also known as "Jud Joseph zum Goldenen Schwan", became the most important Jewish businessman of his era, trading not only with the Fuggers and Imhoffs, but also with the nobility and the Church.[10]

In the early 17th century the Habsburgs employed the services of Jacob Bassevi of Prague, Joseph Pincherle of Gorizia, and Moses and Jacob Marburger of Gradisca. At the dawn of mercantilism, while most Sephardi Jews were primarily active in the west in maritime and colonial trade, the Ashkenazi Jews in the service of the emperor and princes tended toward domestic trade.[11]

They were mostly wealthy businessmen, distinguished above their co-religionists by their commercial instincts and their adaptability.

Court Jews frequently came into conflict with court rivals and co-religionists.

The court Jews, as the agents of the rulers, and in times of war as the purveyors and the treasurers of the state, enjoyed special privileges.

They were under the jurisdiction of the court marshal[disambiguation needed], and were not compelled to wear the Jews' badge. They were permitted to stay wherever the Emperor held his court, and to live anywhere in the Holy Roman Empire, even in places where no other Jews were allowed.

Wherever they settled they could buy houses, slaughter meat according to the Jewish ritual, and maintain a rabbi. They could sell their goods wholesale and retail, and could not be taxed or assessed higher than the Christians. Jews were sometimes assigned the role of local tax collectors."

DETROIT (ChurchMilitant.com) – In the past four years, Jesuit institutions have received at least $1.7 million in donations from the Open Society Foundations (OSF) that are funded by plutocrat George Soros.

By examining documents recorded on the internet, it’s evident that the Jesuits’ biggest recipient of Soros’ largesse is the U.S.-based Jesuit Worldwide Learning.

In 2016, the organization received $890,000, while, in 2018, it garnered another $410,000. This was the only one of the three Jesuit institutions to recognize the Soros Foundations as a “partner.”

…When WikiLeaks revealed the emails of the Democratic National Committee and various allied groups in advance of the 2016 presidential election, it found that the president of Voices for Progress, Sandy Newman, conspired in 2012 with John Podesta of the Soros-funded Center for American Progress to promote contraception as a “revolution” to overthrow the “middle ages dictatorship” of the Catholic Church.

Podesta wrote, “We created Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good [CACG] to organize for a moment like this.” According to its Facebook page, “Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good promote the social justice mission of Pope Francis and the Catholic Church in U.S. politics, media and culture.”

CACG was prominent in pushing for national health care legislation that became known as Obamacare, which Catholic bishops criticized for lacking conscience provisions to prevent Catholic hospitals from performing abortions.

Also, CACG was one of some 16 others to receive $4.5 million in Soros funds. Podesta served as chief of staff in the Clinton administration and, later, as a counselor in the Obama administration.
