Camila Turns Against Raniere – Child Sex Abuse Victim Expected to Come From Mexico to Condemn Raniere at Sentencing

Camila, the first DOS slave, has turned against her Vanguard, Keith Alan Raniere, according to a letter filed by the prosecution on Friday.

She filed a victim impact statement with the court and is expected to come from Mexico to Brooklyn to speak at Raniere’s sentencing on October 27.

Camila is now 30 years old, but the feds found nude pictures of her when she was 15 years old on a hard drive belonging to Raniere.

He was charged with possession of child porn and sexual exploitation of a minor in a superseding indictment.

In 2018 and 2019, Raniere and five co-defendants were indicted for racketeering, racketeering conspiracy and related crimes, including sex trafficking, forced labor, alien smuggling, identity theft and extortion. On June 19, 2019, Raniere was convicted of all seven counts (and all eleven racketeering acts) submitted to the jury including sexual exploitation of Camila.

We learn from the government’s letter that Raniere, then 45, had sex with the 15 year old girl before he took her nude pictures.

Here is the pertinent portion of the letter that Assistant US Attorney Tanya Hajjar filed with the court,

Dear Judge Garaufis:

The government respectfully submits this letter in response to Raniere’s sentencing memorandum filed on September 18, 2020…. The claims and arguments set forth in Raniere’s memorandum are, without exception, inconsistent with the evidence presented at trial. The jury has already rejected them. For the reasons set forth in the government’s sentencing memorandum… the Court should also reject them.

With respect to Raniere’s contentions with respect to Camila (Raniere Mem. at 68-73), the government encloses under separate cover a victim impact statement it has received from Camila. This statement provides further support of Raniere’s sexual abuse of Camila in the months prior to the production of child pornography images.

The government expects that Camila will attend Raniere’s sentencing on October 27, 2020 and may wish to address the Court further at that time….”

President Trump on Saturday held his first public event since recovering from Covid at the White House.

Approximately 300 to 400 Trump supporters attended the “peaceful protest” and wore matching hats and t-shirts as President Trump delivered a speech from the White House balcony.

Candace Owens was in attendance as well as the group she founded, “Blexit” – Black conservatives who support President Trump.

President Trump spoke for about 18 minutes and said he is “feeling great.”

“We’re starting very big with our rallies … because we cannot allow our country to become a socialist country,” Trump said to cheers.

Of course the fake news media immediately attacked President Trump for holding a rally at the White House and ran cover for Joe Biden.

CBS News said President Trump “falsely” claimed Biden is a Socialist.

Nothing inspires confidence in the sanctity of the franchise during this most contentious of elections than a candidate who steals the identities of nursing home residents and hijacks their ballots. This story begins our first weekly wrap up Ballot Shenanigans.

Meet Zul Mirza Mohamed, which may be hard because when he’s not standing guard at the top of a high-rise in New York City waiting for the Ghostbusters or running for mayor of Carrollton, Texas, he’s in jail for “25 counts of Unlawful Possession of Ballot/Ballot Envelope w/o Request of Voter, and 84 counts of Fraudulent Use of Mail Ballot Application.”

The Denton County Sheriff’s Department got a tip and waited for Mohamed to pick up the ballots at a local postal store, where the hijacked mail-in ballots had been sent. Mohamed insisted on curbside service and when an undercover deputy brought out the box of ballots, he busted him.

Sheriff Tracy Murphree wondered how many times this has gone on undetected in the Dallas suburb.

The fact that we caught it this time, doesn’t mean it hasn’t happened in elections past. I’m sure it has. Just people are paying more attention. I think election officials are paying more attention. I think they’re keeping a closer eye on it. I personally believe voting by mail is a dangerous thing

What’s in those tumbleweeds in Texas, anyway? Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden’s Texas political director was recently accused in a lawsuit of engaging in an illegal ballot harvesting scheme.

But we’re not done with the Lone Star state just yet. In their zeal to turn Texas blue, the Democrats have even taken to running candidates who don’t actually live in Texas.

Take Helane Seikaly – please. The Roseville, Calif, resident, UC Davis adjunct professor, Sacramento law firm member and erstwhile deputy city attorney of Atwater, Calif., is running for a congressional seat in Texas, where her parents still live. Seikaly votes in Texas, using her parents’ address as her own while she lives and works in California. She only recently returned to Texas. I guess it makes sense. After all, Democrats don’t think you should have to be a citizen of the United States of America to vote, either.

Speaking of California residents, 2,100 ballots sent to people living in Los Angeles didn’t include the presidential contest on them. Apparently, elections officials don’t think it’s much of a contest and didn’t bother to waste the ink. Secretary of State Alex Padilla says he’s looking into it and new ballots are being printed.

The White House press corps, the never-Trumper Lincoln Project, and Rachel Maddow of MSNBC thought they’d had their “we’ve got him now!” moment when President Trump’s story of Wisconsin ballots dumped in a creek turned out to be ballots and other mail dumped in a ditch. It was later learned that there were no Wisconsin ballots found in that ditch. Well then, good day, sir!

While the president may not be able to recite exact names, dates, times, and locations of ballot shenanigans, he’s not wrong about the fact that they exist.

After spending multiple column inches calling President Trump a liar for mistaking a creek for a ditch, this news broke from New Jersey. A New Jersey postal worker is charged with dumping a bunch of mail – including ballots for this year’s election – into a dumpster.

Approximately 1,875 pieces of mail – including 627 pieces of first class, 873 pieces of standard class, two pieces of certified mail, 99 general election ballots destined for residents in West Orange, and 276 campaign flyers from local candidates for West Orange Town Council and Board of Education – were recovered from dumpsters in North Arlington and West Orange on Oct. 2, 2020, and Oct. 5, 2020. The mail had been scheduled to be delivered on Sept. 28, Oct. 1, and Oct. 2, 2020, to addresses on certain postal routes in Orange and West Orange. On the delivery dates for which mail was recovered, Beauchene was the only mail carrier assigned to deliver mail to the addresses on the recovered mail

Nine military ballots were found dumped in the battleground state of Pennsylvania. Seven of the ballots were marked for President Trump. The Secretary of State, a Democrat, said it was a mistake of training, not intentional fraud.

RT correspondent Igor Zhdanov said alert sirens were heard in Stepankert, the capital of the breakaway Nagorno-Karabakh region, late on Saturday. Several explosions – both in the air and on the land – were observed in the city, he added.

Senate Republicans rip new White House coronavirus proposal

Senate Republicans on Saturday offered fierce pushback against the administration's latest coronavirus relief proposal during a call with Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and White House chief of staff Mark Meadows.

Senate Republicans raised concerns about the $1.8 trillion price tag of the White House's latest offer to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), multiple sources familiar with the call told The Hill.

One source familiar with the call said that there were "significant concerns raised with the price tag."

"There’s an openness to continue negotiating, but the current topline is an obstacle," the source added.

Concerns about the White House's offer came from across the conference, underscoring the work the White House and Trump face to get any potential deal across the finish line in the GOP-controlled Senate even as the president has publicly urged negotiators to "go big."

Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.), who chairs the Senate's Health Committee, told Meadows and Mnuchin that there was "no appetite" within the Senate Republican conference for a $1.8 trillion bill, a second person briefed on the call told The Hill. Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) warned that it could be a "death knell" for the party in November and Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) told Meadows and Mnuchin "I don't get it."

Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah), who recently tested positive for the coronavirus, also expressed concern that it would cost the party support in the election and would take the focus off of the caucus's top priority: confirming Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court.

In response to the GOP criticism, Meadows told Republicans that "you all will have to come to my funeral" once he delivered their concerns to Trump, who has appeared eager in recent days for a large deal on coronavirus relief, a GOP aide confirmed to The Hill.

The call with Republicans comes after Trump has yo-yo'd this week about what he would accept in a fifth coronavirus relief package, from cutting off the negotiations at the start of the week to suggesting he wanted to go even higher than Democrats, who are sticking with their $2.2 trillion price tag.

The Norwegian Nobel Committee awarded the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) its annual Peace Prize for 2020 on Friday, overlooking a history of corruption, mismanagement, and sexual assault among its ranks.

In its statement announcing the decision, the Committee expressed mounting concern about lack of access to food globally, particularly in light of repressive government lockdowns to prevent the spread of the Chinese coronavirus. The WFP, it said, won the award “for its efforts to combat hunger, for its contribution to bettering conditions for peace in conflict-affected areas and for acting as a driving force in efforts to prevent the use of hunger as a weapon of war and conflict.”

According to the Nobel Committee, the WFP was responsible for aiding “100 million people in 88 countries” throughout 2019. It asserted that the Chinese coronavirus pandemic “has contributed to a strong upsurge in the number of victims of hunger in the world” and applauded the WFP’s “impressive ability to intensify its efforts” given the current situation.

“The world is in danger of experiencing a hunger crisis of inconceivable proportions if the World Food Programme and other food assistance organisations do not receive the financial support they have requested,” the committee insisted.

David Beasley, the executive director of the U.N. agency, described the award as a “humbling, moving recognition of the world of the WFP staff who lay their lives on the line every day to bring food and assistance for close to 100 million hungry children, women and men across the world.”

“Every one of the 690 million hungry people in the world today has the right to live peacefully and without hunger. Today, the Norwegian Nobel Committee has turned the global spotlight on them and on the devastating consequences of conflict,” Beasley said.

The international recognition for the world’s biggest aid organization bookends a decade otherwise marred by a variety of scandals, from concerns about corruption and theft of aid to struggles internally to contain sexual assault and rape, and at least one incident where WFP food aid poisoned and killed people.

Internally, an independent review of workplace culture in the WFP revealed a year ago that over two dozen people at the agency had experienced rape or sexual assault while on the job. The number of reported incidents of sexual assault more generally was significantly higher.

Bill Gates Blasts US COVID-19 Response, Warns Nation Will See ‘Lots of Additional Deaths’

In April, the billionaire tech entrepreneur warned that the US could see a “nightmare scenario” with the coronavirus pandemic, but stressed that following social distancing guidelines would limit the spread of the disease. At that moment, the US general infection tally is over 7.7 million cases, while the death toll has risen above 214,000.

The US will see “lots of additional” coronavirus-related deaths if the nation does not “get our act together” amid the ongoing pandemic, according to Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates during an upcoming interview on NBC's ‘Meet the Press’, set to be aired on Sunday.

The tech leader blasted the COVID-19 response by the Trump administration as “the worst” program in the world, due to prolonged waiting times for results and “in terms of who gets access to it”.

“There are lots of additional deaths coming if we don’t get our act together,” Gates told anchor Chuck Todd. “We are running the worst testing system, in terms of who gets access to it, of any country.”

Gates suggested that the Trump administration “admit that you haven’t done a good job”, and called on them to “make some straightforward changes”. Gates noted that many of Trump's mistakes are “not that hard to fix” at the current stage of the pandemic.

“You do have to admit that you haven’t done a good job, and make some straightforward changes,” Gates said. “In that case, just the way the reimbursement is done is crazy. So there is an ability to, in terms of leadership that helps with the right behaviors, to protect people. We can still do a lot better.”

“If we do the social distancing properly, we should be able to get out of this with the death number well short of that,” Gates said. “This is a nightmare scenario because human-to-human transmittal respiratory viruses can grow exponentially.”

As of Saturday, the US has registered over 7.7 million COVID-19 infection cases, along with at least 214,120 deaths, according to data collated by the Johns Hopkins University.
