I like the bones, and the style reminds me of early 20th century ink illustrations, the shapes of the legs especially.
I drew a doggo too. It's a dog I didn't know who came into my yard and let himself be pet and even carried. This trust touched me.
He was filthy like he'd spent three days outside. He left quickly however, and then later I saw him with a lady which reassured me because it meant he wasn't lost.

So today I had some kind of spasm in my hand and accidentally closed a picture I hadn't saved yet (what are the odds of clicking exactly on the x-button?). There was of course a prompt asking whether I want to save, but my tired-ass brain decided to interpret this as "Do you want to close?", responded with "what the fuck, no", and sealed my fate within a fraction of a second from the dialogue appearing. Lost about an hours work.
But on the flip side it allowed me to really channel my feelings into art for the first time and make this, so I guess it's not all bad.
I might actually redo this properly, I kind of like it.

If you're using a newer version of photoshop with an autosave feature you can probably find the pic saved somewhere, even if you clicked "don't save", as long as you don't open too many new images.
Find this manually or type in whatever photoshop version and user name you have and the file may be there until it's saved over.

I was using Krita. I actually looked for something like what you described, since it has a recovery feature for crashes I figured it might be possible, but couldn't find anything. I'll have to take another look at that.
Thanks anyway, I wasn't sure whether you could actually do that.

I started listening to some of Feng Zhu's videos and one that stood out to me was his video titled "Just Draw!". He gives some subjects to draw that students at his school do and so, I started this week trying to get 10 drawings a day, 20 minutes each and to get at least get 2-3 hours committed since I've been slacking off drawing. This week's subject: rocks.

Thanks lad, I've learn a lot so far; and it ain't a canvas, it's MDF, wich is cheap, i'll recomend it for studies or more casual works, because it doesn't hold good against time unless you take good care of it and keep it away from humidity; and it's all torn apart because it was a non-conventional format exercise, I really recommend trying it out al least once; you can make some interesting things when you're working on a canvas that ain't geometric shaped.

Well, I'm kinda new here and planning on sticking around, dumping my last sketches.
Damn, fellas, the last two years have been really shitty, the desire to draw has completely disappeared and any meaning of life along with it. Sucks 2 be me a lower class scum from a 3rd world shithole. At least it seems that I got in my city a girl lusting over my cock and sending me kinky stuff, but God dammit I miss my first LDR love so much and the pain doesn't go away even after 7 months.
I will try to convey the suffering in my works.

>oh fug, i'm not getting enough attention from females
>i'm so depressed guys
Are you literally a female in disguise.
Stop identifying yourself as depressed, and creating art to express that identity if you want to stop suffering. Like what the fuck, your subconscious takes in what you believe, and place some happy belief on a goal, that isn't as unstable as the attention of a female.

It's impressive how expressive this drawing is, especially taking into accounta that's a sketch. I personally love the guy's face and the beast's fur.

Pretty nice job with the color palette. I don't know why, but there's something kind of classy about this drawing. It reminds me of some of cartoon illustrations.

Looks great bud. There's this sort of artificial, automatically-generated looking lighting gradient most visible on the legs that I kind of feel detracts from the suggestion of "form" a bit, though. It's so subtle in some ways I think it would just look better as a flat color-or one thing you could try if you're using photoshop is you could use the warp mesh tool and kind of mould it to the form a little more. I don't know, it's looking damn good though, reminds me of those shamefully sexy Minerva Mink segments from Animaniacs.

Thanks a lot.
Well, I really like that kind of desing. Like old time cartoons or something like that. If I want to create a character like this, I like to do it with this kind of style.
>>14702
Thanks bro. Yeah, there is something with that gradient that can be fixed a little bit. I was trying to emulate something like pic related (Ref).
>reminds me of those shamefully sexy Minerva Mink segments from Animaniacs.
In fact, to drawing her head, I used characters like Minerva to do so. The rest is a little bit generic I guess.
Now I'm going to start with another project. I'm gonna do a paint practice.
