At any rate that looks pretty good to me. You got all that landmark anatomy going, I see the trapezius, triceps, biceps, lats, delts, quads (at least the vastus medialis, nigga), obliques, glutes, the brachio-motherfuckin'-radialus and extensor carpi radialus longus-the scapula and that whole structure with the teres muscles and infraspinatus or whatever the heck is a little subtle but it works. No erector spinae either but its addition is almost always pretty unnecessary in a cartoon drawing for fug's sake, and a simple shaded area like that works just fine.

Since your reference is a blurry shit but you seem to want to draw a non-blurred drawing, you should study water more. It has a lot of factors affecting how it looks but you're kind of naively drawing cartoon waves in different colors.
Firstly the horizon should be flat or else you're dealing with tsunami-tier waves. Similarly the waves near the horizon should be tiny or even disappear.
The side of the wave that faces the camera is most transparent and shows the "color of the water" (green/blue), and the rest will reflect the sky. Water doesn't actually sparkle as much as you'd think except for around under where the sun is, instead it mostly reflects the color of the sky or trees or clouds or whatever is behind it. Additionally the shallower the water, the more transparent the 'color of the water' is and you can see through it to the sand (and the light rays reflected onto the sand).
As for the "color of the water" itself, water on beaches sometimes has a green&cyan tint, AFAIK it's caused by some element or microbe that's in the water or something. Distant things are blue (painting 101), and that effect is amplified by water, thus deeper water is bluer. Less light reaches out from the depths thus it's also darker.
Using solid/paint brushes or a single layer is an exercise in painting technique, but it's terrible for learning how to color things. Especially water since water is a transparent volume rather than a surface. Real life is largely made up of subtle gradients, but if you don't learn those gradients and what they're made from it's very hard to represent them with a solid brush without throwing colors around randomly and hope it works out. IMO a good way to approach drawing water is to draw the color of the water/sand/etc first, and then render waves by using reflections and foam/whatever. You can more or less just pick colors from the sky/background to paint the reflections. The splashing foam is the hardest to draw I think, it's like paint on top of the waves while the front bursts into snow.

Look at some feet bones and think more about how they're constructed and then think about how they'd fit on the board. I'm not sure what that muscle extending from his latissimus dorsi to his humerus is supposed to be. Remember that there's a little area of tendon buried in the center of the trapezius where the traps kind of bunch up around the 7th cervical vertebrae. Nonetheless, this looks like you had fun drawing it, keep it up.

Deleter has a great white out that conceals just about all inks without issue tho if you want a quick answer. if you want a portable solution, the uni signo whites work pretty well on most anything save uni signo black…not sure how, but there's next to nothing that properly conceals their black. Most of the time as well you'll need to wait a day minimum to let the ink fully dry before applying a white over it. otherwise, you'll just reactivate the black, and it'll mix with the white.
I'm curious tho about your working size. How big is that paper, as your lines that are off seem microscopic. I'm a faggot, and rarely draw bigger than a5 size, so it always throws me for a loop when I realize someone is using a much bigger size than I.

I've been in the habit of using an old, yellow stack of 7.5 x 8.5 paper for these, even though I keep telling myself to stop, as the paper doesn't hold up well at all to pencil/erase passes. Normally I use plain letter sized (8.5 x 11) printer paper.

If you live in Freedom, the best print sized paper for art on the cheap is by far the georgia pacific card stock paper. You can pick up 150 pages for less than 5 bucks at wally-world, and it handles any inking from any brand except maybe dip pen nibs and has little to no ghosting, so both sides of the paper are viable for studies. Erases well, but with enough force, you'll pulp the paper. You can also use light washes on it without issue as well. Great introductory paper for grinding IMO.

I made the shoulder smaller twice, so I tried to fix it by having a small female head, I guess that's why it's fucked up.
That's what I get for using myself as reference.
Also, the entire area above the breasts looks a little fucked up for me, looks like either the head/neck is too far back or the trapezius is oto big.

It does, even after a quick paint fix. I usually draw the nose too to the right, this time I over corrected it and drew everything around it wrong.

I actually just do it accidentally. I draw something, then I create a new layer to trace around it, but I still keep it in case I ever need to check it again. I never fucking use anything more than the top 5 layers, but I'm too autistic to delete the other ones because of all the times that fucked me over when editing pics on gimp.

Paint Tool SAI froze while saving the image file and deleted all my layers, so making some adjustments will be a bit more harder and less effective now, I guess.

The head/rib-cage ratio looks good to me for a petite woman. The jawline is high, giving her a round face, which works here for cute points, but if you were trying to make the head smaller (to make the body bigger), more chin and face below the base circle of the skull would be needed.
What was really throwing you off I think, was the tiny shoulders and the arm stub. The redline I did more for myself to see what was off, so I didn't try to change the proportions. The only major adjustments were the shoulders and bringing the waist in at the back to accentuate the butt & hips.

Those volumes look too choppy between the pencils. Try not to put any additional force onto a pencil mark to make it darker like you might have when you were using a 2B alone, rather try and use the pencils for what shade they're intended for and use a light touch with all.

I've used different pencil grades before though not much. Are you talking about the labelled swatches? I was surprised myself; I kept pressure consistent then smudged a little. I think these are just on the harder side with less variance between grades. Can still get a range of values but I'm sure my local mystery/no name 4b is darker than the castel 8 b, for example.
I should add I overdid the drawing and maybe did press too hard sometimes since I was experimenting with the paper too.

I have a learning plan that should yield some improvements with a few months of study/practice but one thing that surprised me was that I struggled to fit the marks for the face details in, even when I used my mechanical pencil. I did that drawing at A4 size. Do I need to go larger for a full body drawing or is it just practice needed for drawing in small details?

Consider using a hard round brush rather than a soft round/airbrush for the great majority of your work because it makes everything look blurry. You should use the soft round when you want to add a gradation of value or color to a specific area rather than using it over the entire piece.

I'm no expert, but in my experience both with traditional and digital mediums a large area to hammer in the details is useful, because you're always limited by the minimum size of the tool (for example with some textured brushes in digital media if the brush itself is made to be less than 10 pixels its texture is obscured and the brush loses its utility). If you look at a well drawn piece of digital art it's not uncommon for the actual working resolution to be 2, 3 even 4 times the size of the resolution the piece is eventually displayed at.
Similarly-but not exactly, many highly detailed fine art paintings you might see online take on a whole new context when you see how large their canvas is in person. That said, some are capable of fairly detailed work on common office paper.

This sort of stuff is good practice for perspective. You should really try and nail your converging lines and then make sure that everything is relative to them. even just drawing everything as simple boxes and then to have fun start putting in details would be a pretty good exercise I think.

Don't give up. Just start simple, and then gradually increase complexity as you get comfortable. Ultimately, simple geometric shapes are foundation of most objects, especially buildings.

Sweet character design. I can see the feminine influences, but it's an easy fix.
As a general rule, male torsos are more rectangular or inverted triangle-shaped (depends on muscular and skeletal structure). Hips are typically flush with the abdomen, with a small taper separating the abdomen, pelvis, and thighs. Thighs are rectangular as well, with any curves originating from the middle or bottom near the knee (compared to females, whose curves ate most prominent near the waist) due to muscle.
Clothes tend to drape over the chest and shoulders, so unlike with females, there is little form-fitting on any area but these, barring protruding stomachs and the like.
The second picture is more along the lines of what you should follow and build upon.

Tried for a future advertisement type deal. Amazon carves their logo into that little crater spot on bottom left of moon and uses crater for the O. Changed logo to have their O as the moon and instead of a to z arrow, its a to the moon to reflect space deliveries to moon colonoies etc.
