Is getting an AR-15 or a similar weapon still possible in Canada? How about other countries outside the USA? How about fully automatic firearms? How?

What's your current project? Are you addicted to building? How many have you done?

Currently working on: Glock 20

Ordered: Glock 19

Issues: Glock 20 SF parts needed to be bought because I started with a non-SF parts kit.

Wants to build in the future: AR-15, AR-10.

getting closer?

I've made attempts to put the lower parts kit into the frame. Know what I had trouble with? The locking block.

Actually that's not true – The big trigger hole was directed by the jig, and the hole and the locking block don't line up. Or didn't. Since I could get an undersized steel punch through, I squeezed the drill bit back through, and both polished the inside of the 'block, and removed more plastic. Pin fits, all seems to be well. Probably.

I ordered a spring. It says it's for the 17, 17lbs. It … sits in the slide. I'm mostly assuming that's because they somehow shipped me an RSA for the glock 19?

If GET this running, I'll probably build a glock-32 also. But if I don't … I'm going to give up on Poly 80 and the whole glock franchise.

It is indicative of every metropolitan zone on the west coast, which is where everyone lives and where all the jobs are. The only reason to move here and stay here is for the job market. Sure some backwater house in the desert will be relatively cheap but that would be pointless as you could just find some place even cheaper and better quality out of state.

>Had the Roman’s not fought against the Chinese Empire at one point?

No idea about that, but I know for a fact that Hellenes did go in contact with the Chinese. Speaking about Kingdom of Baktria in particular. Heard about the famous terracota army of Qin dynasty? Yes, it was inspired by the design of Greek sculptures. I guess Alexander and his succesors were true badasses rivaling Romans in their prime, in the ancient times Hellenic culture went everywhere as far as India and China; Baktrians ended up basically taking over northern India at some point and massively influencing the Gandhara culture. Who knows how the world would look like without shitlamic conquests that turned the East into the smoldering ruins of civilization they continue to be today.

I own a polymer pair made in America out of thick, nearly indestructible plastic. They do not break but they do scuff. They hurt my hand though when I punch metal or wood. I weigh about 140 and have skinny ass arms. I also have a metal pair that is make out of some type of fucking copper pot metal alloy chinknalium tier shit that scuffs with dings when I hit a cinder block. However, it hurts less to hit wood and metal. I have sap gloves too and when I wear the metal knuckles over them, I can destroy wood, ceramics, etc. but still can't break a thick glass bottle or a cinder block.

Is there a reason for this shit happening? Am I just weak?

Have you ever been hit by brass knuckles? Were they effective in fucking you up?

Does the material and weight make the difference? I want to get real 2 pound brass knuckles from Weapons Universe

How do you use them effectively? Where do I hit?

Can you suggest some good knuckles and sap gloves and some links? BKC ripped me off.

Last question. Is there a weapon that combines the concept of sap gloves with brass knuckles? Like a modern day caestus or a gauntlet that just devastates without you feeling a thing?

practice more and more and eventually your body will become stronger. It's the same principle behind martial artists and their body strength. The people who can put their hand through cinderblocks build up their hands to be stronger and stronger so they don't hurt it when they karate chop it. Just practice and feel the pain, because the pain means you are getting stronger.

As for the effectiveness of brass knuckles, I've never been attacked with them but my friend did, and he got rocked hard (part of that is due to the surprise but the knuckles did break his nose) and the weight matters too.

It's just metal – grind it off to match the device you've chosen, if that's a plausible route for you.

But the tradition of the thing is combloc ammo has 14x1LH muzzle devices, so you will confuse future purchasers, if you sell that rifle.

So with regards to the "Networking" section outlined by OP, there are no groups near me on zeemaps that are not multiple years out of date. The only militia groups I can find are one sanctioned by the government that has the blessing of the govenor and those pathetic larps the III%ers (boomer fucks who take themselves too seriously but are all about 600 pounds. You could probably find a few vids of them on youtube. Faggots.)

Does anyone have advice on finding a group for me?

I personally want to know whether or not any current militia groups would even be worth joining. I don't want to risk being put on a watch list. At the same time, a decent group of people could be incredibly useful come SHTF provided they're actually decent and they don't stab me in the back.

You have ham groups, which are chatty, but still are just a bunch of dumb, judaizing boomers. One tactic I recommend if you're truly all alone is to make a throwaway jewtube with a generic name like "x county (state name) survivor group" and just make short low resolution videos discussing survival topics like comms, targets of opportunity, self reliance, et cetera. I've been redpilling boomers lately by showing them that cops will not do their job if it means they will still be paid, so that any plan they come up with has to include cops potentially being targets themselves. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if you just searched for this yourself and didn't find a similar thing already up and running. If you only get 10 subscribers, you will have sympathetic people near you that you can shitpost with in the comments section, to then move to having nets on CB or freeband, to then meeting irl if you feel like you can trust them. Best of luck, intel says chance of emp/internet blackout stateside this month.

>muh 30 years of wear and tear

It's funny how the M60 is the only modern GPMG that seems to have such severe problems. Meanwhile Britain and Germany have no such issues with their equally beat-up MAGs and MG3s (I wouldn't be surprised if the Bundeswehr is still using a few WW2-production receivers to this day), and Britain had a hard time even getting the MAG adopted because their Vickers guns were still working fine after 40 years and >100k rounds.

Besides which, most of the complaints about the M60's durability started in Vietnam, then died off in the 70s and 80s as sturdier replacement parts were phased into service.

And there's no excusing the retarded barrel-change mechanism. There's no good reason why you should need to replace the bipod and half of the gas system with every spare barrel, it just adds a ton of extra weight and complexity.

>and half of the gas system with every spare barrel

Changing the gas block and tube seems like it would be smart on a MG since they'll get just as hot as the barrel (they're connected to and take gas from the barrel after all) since they too can be effected by heat and are an item that can dump some of the heat from the previous barrel into the new cool one.

I've always questioned why you'd even bother trying to make MGs anything other than recoil operated. Since they aren't really THAT concerned with accuracy to start with (though recoil operated MGs don't look to be hurting for it from everything I've seen) there's fewer parts to break, and it avoids heating up more parts than needed.

>It's funny how the M60 is the only modern GPMG that seems to have such severe problems

Mostly caused by way US military usually procures machine guns. US usually buys their machine guns fast and closes production few years later, then uses those guns until those fall apart. Happened with M60 and M249.

>Britain had a hard time even getting the MAG adopted because their Vickers guns were still working fine after 40 years and >100k rounds.

Vickers like most of other early machine guns were over engineered and practically indestructible. 100k rd is nothing to Vickers, just another day in the office.

<In 1963 in Yorkshire, a class of British Army armorers put one Vickers gun through probably the most strenuous test ever given to an individual gun. The base had a stockpile of approximately 5 million rounds of Mk VII ammunition which was no longer approved for military use. They took a newly rebuilt Vickers gun, and proceeded to fire the entire stock of ammo through it over the course of seven days. They worked in pairs, switching off at 30 minute intervals, with a third man shoveling away spent brass. The gun was fired in 250-round solid bursts, and the worn out barrels were changed every hour and a half. At the end of the five million rounds, the gun was taken back into the shop for inspection. It was found to be within service spec in every dimension.

There is a fuck ton of firearms blueprints on the net, but there seems to be few complete blueprints. So lets start a thread for Anons to post complete blueprints in.

Lets start with the Browning 1919A4 Machine gun.

Please note that there are 26 sets of blueprints for this weapon, not including the 11 different sets of blueprints for the M2 .30 cal tripod.

This will take a while to upload due to the anti-flooding feature.

The M3A1 is a pretty easy firearm to manufacture by yourself like the Luty, but I would imagine that the M3A1 would be a bit better. That's the reason why it was so cheap. The troops who were using it though the same, too. They didn't trust it until they started using it. Amateur submachine guns aren't that much different in quality than professionally made submachine guns.

Can we talk SHTF rations, /k/? The standard meme prepper go-to is MRE's or canned goods but these have their own flaws. Are they decent options with downsides, or is there something far more versatile and worthwhile for SHTF?

If you don't have subterranean temperatures low enough, then cooling your food is a potential area of interest.

Since keeping your food cool then involves as little invasion of heat as possible, then that presents you with another challenge: insulation.

Thus, finding the most element-resistant and cost-effective and thermally resistant method of insulation becomes important. Just throwing thick layers of foam around something is the most no-brainer method.

Cooling it to a desired temperature range and keeping it there will very in cost depending on how efficient it is and how well-insulated your storage is.

None of this is that difficult. You just have to balance your cost of rotating your rations at a much lower rate due to just-above-freezing temperature of storage, or rotating them more quickly if their storage temps are higher.

Archive of previous thread- Anon's uncle provided a bunch of info, very well worth reviewing.

https://archive.fo/6A38N

There are three stories from Northern Nevada, two within rather close proximity of one another. I've done some digging and I think I've narrowed it down quite a bit.

Based on the description, we should be able to find a few abandoned mine shafts on the eastern side of the Ruby mountains.

>Per one UNR source, there should be two abandoned shafts in the vicinity of, both for tungsten.

>Cross-referencing that against their database for documents involving tungsten mines/claims in Elko county produced quite a few results.

>One definite tungsten mine location is by Battle Creek. The Battle Creek location is ~20 miles south of where we were looking, but it does have the crook in the road as described E Zed. The trees are there as described, but I can't see a structure or a giant rock. The topography isn't an exact match either.

>A website that tracks mining claims, places 4 potential entrances within a few hundred yards, but not at the particular location that E Zed indicated.

> There is also a second hook in the road on the other side, but it doesn't exactly match the description either.

If OP wasn't 100% accurate in his recollection, I would argue this would be a good place to start. The Northern location has proved much harder to locate, which will be addressed in the next post.

Bring a buffalo gun and a camera with you. Spooks really hate cameras for some reason, seeing as how they've never been captured on one.

If you are attacked, be it by a spook or not, a buffalo gun will always prove itself indispensable.

In other news, I've devised a way in which to defeat a supernatural creature of almost any sort. The answer is drugs and a lack of clothes. A good number of these alleged beings seem to depend on fright, and what's a better way to combat fright than taking 10mgs of oxycodone? Pain suppression is an added benefit to that as well. Then you have the matter if whether these creatures are sapient, generally upwardly intelligent or similar; if they are, being stark naked and high will certainly catch them off guard, and seeing as how armor or clothes does very little at warding off whatever sort of attacks they have, such things matter little and you're better off taking the gamble of being naked. Provided that it isn't extremely cold, striping naked can only provide benefit. The flaw with this idea is that oxycodone takes a half hour to kick in, and thus I would recommend something like a very high dosage of xanax in lieu if you are caught unawares. Two benefits that oxycodone doesn't have: nearly instant effect, and at high dosages, complete memory loss combined with extremely erratic behavior. Downside is a lack of higher mental facilities, but I can't see bumrushing a skinwalker requiring much of that. In fact, that might even be a positive in some scenarios, but I would recommend against having firearms within any manner of accessible distance in such a case; if you do fight off your attacker, you may be down a hand and bleed out. I suppose the decision depends on whether or not you're hunting them, or if you've found yourself out in the woods and being hunted. Regardless, what's a better way to go out than going apeshit attacking a spook while naked and high? Can guarantee you almost any afterlife will let you in with that.

Nevada anon here, went camping with some buddies out in this area probably close to a month ago now. Drove around on some trails, didn't find any old buildings like in thread pic.

Two spooky things happened, one of our guys saw something 'larger than a deer and black in color' run through some trees probably 50 yards away from our campfire. We walked around but didn't see anything. Later that night I couldn't sleep for a while, sometime past midnight I heard what sounded like a deer or cow (there was a cattle farm semi nearby) screaming, kind of yelled on an off for 20 odd minutes before getting quiet. May go back (live near Yerington) sometime soon to explore some other possible areas.
