God this is depressing.

The sudden news, the panicked scramble to save as much as possible, waking up the next day to see that it wasn't some bad dream or a joke and the site's actually gone...it's just depressing. All that work, those artists, all that rare shit that just didn't exist outside of Exhentai. It's all gone now. I know some faggot will go "hurr durr just fap to something else" but it's not about that. I can beat my meat to a fucking Victoria's Secret catalogue and do fine but the fact that this huge site, this massive archive that's existed for my entire life on the internet and has been the closest thing to a landmark on the internet just fucking died in a night.

People compare it to losing the Library of Alexandria and I feel like that's a bit too impersonal. It's like watching as the mall you've always visited, where the stores were familiar and you knew the layout by heart, just suddenly went up in flames. Losing that familiar place that had served you for years, maybe even decades, in such a instant and unstoppable way hurts. It hurts a lot more than it should.

I know we've got another six months until e-h goes down as well, and I know that someone's going to try and find a new host or create a successor, but for me it feels like a friend's been diagnosed with cancer. I'm going to try and make some last good memories, and hope that it somehow overcomes this, but I just don't fucking know man.

Someone please save this site. I don't want to say goodbye to another friend so soon.

Tried a few Japanese terms that would likely equate to the name, but got no results for them. Resorted to just punching in a few terms in a general search engine and found somewhere I haven't used before and found one "Infatuation" by Igumox. Time frame for when I'd favorited it prior syncs reasonably well with the scanlation release date on Team Koinaka's website too, so I'm thinking that was it. Think I figured out why I couldn't find anything for it either, as it seems it was only the second chapter in a larger anthology called "Boku dake no Yuuyami", so single chapter uploads that might have been around are likely replaced now.

I'll have to keep that possible factor more in mind going forward.

Say I want to fap to a character – so long as the character is ANYWHERE in the picture, including, say, a tiny speck in the background, you can bet it will be tagged and I will see a basically unrealted image.
