How To Start An OP

This document provides simple guidleines on creating an operation (OP). If you have any questions after reading through the guide, ask in general thread.

It is highly recommended that you read all the way through this guide at least once before you start following the steps to create your op.

First things first, check to see if the op you want to start has already been created by someone else or if there's an op with a similar enough topic that you can discuss merging your op with that existing one. After all, there's really no need for 14 different ops all trying to do the same thing, when there could be one thread with all those people working together and getting much more accomplished. If you don't know how to find a list of ops look in warroom section of dough.

Checklist

Before you move forward with the idea, there are few things you should take into consideration:

-What is the purpose of the op? What are you trying to accomplish? What kind of message are you trying to spread? Make sure that the operation has a foundation that has been thoroughly thought out so that the op doesn't have to suffer later because of poor planning.

-Why should people care about the op? The op is nothing if no one cares about it. Clearly, you care about it so you had better be able to tell the rest of us why we should also care. While we encourage ops, it should also be said that not every grievance and/or government wrongdoing is a reason to rally an op.

-What are the relevant/vital pieces of information relating to the op? Assume nobody else but you know anything about the topic of the op. Gather the more important information that will get people up to speed quickly. (memes and intel)

-How will you communicate the op to the public? Whether you are going to use Facebook, Twitter, videos, press releases, etc. have a solid plan on how to execute and spread the op.

Press Release

Once you have gone through the checklist, it may be a good idea to prepare a Thread that consolidates the information/data you have collected. This way, you can link people to a single document about your op that will help them get started.

There are also many other services you can use to host the press release, some of the more popular being pastebin and Riseup pad. Note that if you use an etherpad, such as Riseup pad or Titanpad, anyone who has the link to the pad can edit it, meaning that your press release can easily be edited or even deleted entirely (in other words, beware of trolls). On the other hand, etherpads are a very good tool to use to collaborate on press releases, as several people can contribute at once, whereas most paste services (such as pastebin) do not allow edits to be made.

The general format of an operation press release is as follows:

Title: Hopefully this is pretty self-explanatory, much as your title should be. Aim for a short, easy to understand title. You don't want your readers getting bored before they even get past the title!

Mission statement: This is the "Greetings, citizens of the world" section. There are two methods typically used to write this part of a press release (some brave writers choose to try both):

The first is an open letter to your target, letting them know that you mean business. An example of this type of letter can be found here: http://pastebin.com/nA2t8ind

No matter how you choose to write your mission statement, make sure that it very clearly explains both the background of your operation and your goals for the operation.

How you can help: Make sure that you give people who want to participate clear directions on how they can help - direct them to your thread, explain what actions are needed, and consider providing a list of any links that may be useful, e.g. social media accounts, tutorials, or news stories.

Pay particular attention to how you are wording your press release. Many ops have failed to attract people simply because of terribly-written press releases. This is not the place to rant about how if X person is elected president, a genocide will occur and volcanoes will explode and night will never end. In other words, present your point of view in a clear, level-headed manner. Hyperbole and sheer ridiculousness will serve only to drive people away from your op - not to draw them in.

Seth Rich Case in DC is Reminiscent of Other Big Deep State Related Cases – Information Comes Very Slowly As if a Cover Up

It seems like nearly every week more evidence is released that indicates the Seth Rich story has some merit.

Attorneys in a Washington DC court claim that despite numerous requests for information, individuals related to their Seth Rich case are not providing evidence requested. Overall, there appears to be a massive coverup reminiscent of other Deep State cases in the news these past few years.

Attorney Eden Quainton sent a letter dated March 27, 2020, to Judge Richard Leon, where his client is being sued by Seth Rich’s brother, Aaron Rich. In the bizarre case, Seth Rich’s brother is suing Ed Butowsky for making statements that he claims are false.

According the court filing, Aaron must establish that it would be false to state or suggest that Aaron (I) participated in leaking emails to Wikileaks, (2) received funds in exchange for leaking or participating in leaking emails to Wikileaks, (3) interfered with “investigations,” ( 4) “knew the hit was coming” and/or warned Seth that he was in danger and (5) engaged in an altercation with Donna Brazile before Seth Rich’s murder.

In the filing, the defendants note that they have identified 5 email accounts related to Seth Rich. One account was registered after Seth Rich’s death. The defendants also note that Aaron rich received some funds that have not been verified with a reasonable explanation for the reason behind his receipt of these funds.

The defendant is requesting additional information in this case which the plaintiff, Aaron Rich, has not yet provided, like his correspondence with certain redacted email accounts, and numerous other items. Seth Rich’s girl friend and roommates have been identified and some items have been provided, but some not. The DC police department has not provided items to date in the case.

Seth Rich’s work mates at the DNC have been subpeoned to provide evidence, much of which in not yet provided. Michael Issikof, of Steele dossier fame, has been served but refuses to produce documents. Donna Brazile has been served and is providing some documents.

The FBI, the DNC and Crowdstrike (the firm that claims Russia hacked the DNC and provided emails to WikiLeaks) will be served soon. Journalist Sy Hersh, has been served but has not produced documents even though, according to the filing Hersh claimed that an FBI source read him portions of a report that said Seth Rich provided emails to WikiLeaks and requested money in return.

As hundreds of lockdown protesters converged Tuesday upon Raleigh, North Carolina, demanding that Democratic Gov. Roy Cooper reopen the state's economy and lift his stay at home order, four of the protesters were arrested, the News & Observer reported.

The demonstrators were handcuffed after they stepped upon the sidewalk outside the governor's mansion in violation of police instructions, the paper said.

ReOpenNC leader Ashley Smith was among the arrestees, the News & Observer reported. As she was being handcuffed, the 33-year-old yelled that officers were "dishonoring the flag" and that her "tax dollars" paid for the sidewalk she was standing upon.

"This is how Nazi Germany started," her husband, Adam Smith, remarked, according to the paper. Smith used a bullhorn to call each officer outside the governor's mansion a "little piggie," the News & Observer said, adding that other protesters handed him bail money.

Before her arrest, Ashley Smith stood in a pickup truck and delivered a speech, the paper said: "We'll all go to church, we'll open our businesses, and we'll buy what we want. We will not go down gently. … If you feel the need to stay home, it is your God-given right to do so. But we want to live!"

The other arrestees were Wendy Kath Macasieb, 53; Lisa Marks Todd, 55; and Jonathan Warren, 35, the News & Observer said. All four arrestees were charged with violation of the executive order and resisting a public officer, the paper said, adding that Warren also was charged with injury to real property.

What did the governor have to say?

During a Tuesday news conference, Cooper said he understands it's "frustrating to be at home so much" and knows "people with families that are hanging by a thread," the paper said, adding that despite the difficulties the time to reopen hasn't arrived.

"The thing we have to put first and foremost is the public health and safety of North Carolinians," Cooper added, according to the News & Observer. "We have to make sure that things are safe. I'm very eager to move into our phases of reopening. We have a way to look at the indicators to tell us how fast we are going to get there. I hope we move through these as quickly as possible."

Cooper announced an extension of his stay-home order until May 8, the papers said, adding that he also established benchmarks that the state must meet in order to begin relaxing the restrictions.

The pandemic lockdowns are creating a global depression that’s likely to be the worst in history. We can’t go back to what passed for normal; we need to be courageous and take radical measures to reboot our economies.

Desperate times require desperate measures and a global depression is going to be desperate – which is why we need an open and honest debate about the problem, before rushing to apparent solutions that would be worse than the cure.

There can be no question that the economic impact of the Covid-19 crisis is going to be immense. The second-quarter forecasts suggest we are experiencing the deepest, fastest drop in economic activity since governments began calculating their nation’s GDP on a quarterly basis. An economic tsunami is about to hit with a number of huge waves straight ahead.

But using the metaphor of a devastating natural disaster to describe the toll that the pandemic will take on the global economy is dangerous. Why? Because it suggests that this acute health crisis and the measures taken to combat it are the cause of our economic woes. In reality, Covid-19 infected an already chronically diseased economy, which remains undiagnosed and untreated.

This is a point that needs stressing again and again. The looming depression is not a Covid-19 one. This confuses a symptom with an underlying cause. Global growth and, especially, advanced-economy growth were already dismal before Covid-19. And they have been for years. Economic forecasts for this year were already pretty downbeat before most people were aware of the word coronavirus.

Yes, the Covid-19 crisis has resulted in unprecedented government actions. In the UK, the Treasury now expects to borrow an extra £150 billion ($186 billion), the equivalent of one-and-a-half infrastructural projects like the HS2 rail project, in four months. That’s more than the country has ever borrowed, and more than in wartime. And given that a return to pre-Covid-19 normality remains uncertain, this might just be the start.

This is why there has recently been talk about imposing a one-off wealth tax. The idea is that everyone – households and businesses, rich and poor – has to pay a sum equivalent to a chunk of their net assets. This would reverse taxation regimes across the world which tax income far more than the taxation of wealth.

Emails Show Extensive Communications Between Senior Defense Official and Columnist Who Published Leaked Info on Flynn Calls with Russian Ambassador

(Washington, DC) Judicial Watch released 143 pages of new records today from the U.S. Department of Defense, showing extensive communications between the Pentagon’s Director of the Office of Net Assessment James Baker and Washington Post reporter David Ignatius.

Lawyers for Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn alleged in a November 1, 2019, court filing that Baker “is believed to be the person who illegally leaked” to Ignatius the transcripts of Flynn’s December 29, 2016, telephone calls with Russian Ambassador Sergei Kislyak. The Washington Post published Ignatius’ account of the calls on January 12, 2017, setting in motion a chain of events that lead to Flynn’s February 13, 2017, firing as National Security Advisor and subsequent prosecution for making false statements to the FBI about the calls. U.S. Attorney John Durham is reportedly investigating the leak of information targeting Flynn.

Citing “the government’s bad faith, vindictiveness and breach of the plea agreement,” in January 2020 Flynn’s attorney, Sidney Powell, moved to withdraw Flynn’s 2017 guilty plea during the Mueller investigation. Flynn claims he felt forced to plead guilty “when his son was threatened with prosecution and he exhausted his financial resources.” Last week, prosecutors provided Flynn’s defense team with documentation of this threat, according to additional papers Flynn’s lawyers filed April 24, 2020, in support of the motion to withdraw.

Judicial Watch obtained the records in a November 2019 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit filed after the DOD failed to respond to a September 2019 request (Judicial Watch v. Department of Defense (No. 1:19-cv-03564)). Judicial Watch seeks:

All calendar entries of Director James Baker of the Office of Net Assessment.

All records of communications between ONA Director James Baker and reporter David Ignatius.

The time frame for the requested records was May 2015 through September 25, 2019.

The records include an exchange on February 16, 2016, with the subject line “Ignatius,” in which Baker tells Pentagon colleague Zachary Mears, then-deputy chief of staff to Obama Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter, that he has “a long history with David” and talks with him regularly.

In an email exchange on October 1, 2018, in a discussion about artificial intelligence, Baker tells Ignatius: “David, please, as always, our discussions are completely off the record. If any of my observations strike you as worthy of mixing or folding into your own thinking, that is as usual fine.” Ignatius replies, “Understood. Thanks for talking with me.”

Ignatius and Baker’s email exchanges per year are summarized below:

In 2015, Ignatius and Baker had a total of seven email conversations to set up meetings or calls, two simply to compliment one another and one exchange where Ignatius invited Baker to speak at the Aspen Strategy Group conference.

In 2016, Ignatius and Baker had a total of 10 email exchanges to set up meetings or calls and two to compliment each other.

In 2017, Ignatius and Baker had a total of 10 email exchanges to set up meetings, one exchange where Ignatius forwarded one of his articles, and one exchange where Ignatius asks Baker for his thoughts on the JCPOA (the Iran nuclear deal), because Baker wasn’t available on the phone.

In 2018, Ignatius and Baker had a total of nine email exchanges to set up meetings, four where Ignatius forwarded articles and one where Ignatius asks Baker for tips on what to say at a quantum computing conference where he was speaking.

“These records confirm that Mr. Baker was an anonymous source for Mr. Ignatius,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “Mr. Baker should be directly questioned about any and all leaks to his friend at the Washington Post.”

"Holy God. We're About To Lose Everything" - Pandemic Crushes Overleveraged Airbnb Superhosts

"History doesn't repeat itself, but it often rhymes," as Mark Twain is often reputed to have said. Before the 2007-2008 GFC, people built real estate portfolios based around renters. We all know what happened there; once consumers got pinched in the GFC, rent payments couldn't be made, and it rippled down the chain and resulted in landlords foreclosing on properties. Now a similar event is underway, that is, overleveraged Airbnb Superhosts, who own portfolios of rental properties built on debt, are now starting to blow up after the pandemic has left them incomeless for months and unable to service mortgage debt.

We have described the financial troubles that were ahead for Superhosts in late March after noticing nationwide lockdowns led to a crash not just in the tourism and hospitality industries, but also a plunge in Airbnb bookings. It was to our surprise that Airbnb's management understood many of their Superhosts were overleveraged and insolvent, which forced the company to quickly erect a bailout fund for Superhosts that would cover part of their mortgage payments in April.

The Wall Street Journal has done the groundwork by interviewing Superhosts that are seeing their mini-empires of short-term rental properties built on debt implode as the "magic money" dries up.

Cheryl Dopp,54, has a small portfolio of Airbnb properties with monthly mortgage payments totaling around $22,000. She said the increasing rental income of adding properties to the portfolio would offset the growing debt. When the pandemic struck, she said $10,000 in rental income evaporated overnight.

"I made a bargain with the devil," she said while referring to her financial misery of being overleveraged and incomeless.

Dopp said when the pandemic lockdowns began, "I thought, 'Holy God. We're about to lose everything.'"

Market-research firm AirDNA LLC said $1.5 billion in bookings have vanished since mid-March. Airbnb gave all hosts a refund, along with Superhosts, a bailout (in Airbnb terms they called it a "grant").

"Hosts should've always been prepared for this income to go away," said Gina Marotta, a principal at Argentia Group Inc., which does credit analysis on real estate loans. "Instead, they built an expensive lifestyle feeding off of it."

We noted that last month, "Of the four million Airbnb hosts across the world, 10% are considered "Superhosts," and many have taken out mortgages to accumulate properties to build rental portfolios."

Airbnb spokesman Nick Papas said the decline in bookings and slump in the tourism and travel industry is "temporary: Travel will bounce back and Airbnb hosts—the vast majority of whom have just one listing—will continue to welcome guests and generate income."

Papas' optimism about a V-shaped recovery has certainly not been echoed in the petroleum and aviation industry. Boeing CEO Dave Calhoun warned on Tuesday that air travel growth might not return to pre-corona levels for years. Fewer people traveling is more bad news for Airbnb hosts that a slump could persist for years, leading to the eventual deleveraging of properties.

Last Wednesday, during the daily UK Government Coronavirus livestream, the head of the British Army, General Sir Nick Carter, bragged:

We’ve been involved with the Cabinet Office Rapid Response Unit, with our 77th Brigade helping to quash rumours from misinformation, but also to counter disinformation. Between three and four thousand of our people have been involved, with around twenty thousand available the whole time at high readiness.

To understand the implications of this statement, we have to go back to 2018, when Carter gave a speech to the Royal United Services Institute.

“In our 77th Brigade,” he said, “… we have got some remarkable talent when it comes to social media, production design, and indeed Arabic poetry. Those sorts of skills we can’t afford to retain in the Regular component but they are the means of us delivering capability in a much more imaginative way than we might have been able to do in the past.”

Previously known as the ‘Security Assistance Group’, 77th Brigade was stood up in 2015 as part of ‘Army 2020’. The Security Assistance Group had been established following the amalgamation of the Media Operations Group, 15 Psychological Operations Group, Security Capacity Building Team, and the Military Stabilisation and Support Group.

77th Brigade is described on their website as being about ‘information and outreach’. But what does that mean? General Carter again:

We also, though, need to continue to improve our ability to fight on this new battlefield, and I think it’s important that we build on the excellent foundation we’ve created for Information Warfare through our 77th Brigade, which is now giving us the capability to compete in the war of narratives at the tactical level. [Emphasis mine]

It is in this context, then, that Carter’s words from last week’s livestream should be viewed. Carter has acknowledged that the British military is waging war on a section of its own population.

‘Rapid Response Unit’

Carter mentioned working with the Cabinet Office’s ‘Rapid Response Unit’. Established in April 2018 and also known as the ‘fake news unit’, the Rapid Response Unit was given an initial six months’ funding. It brought together a “team of analysts, data scientists and media and digital experts,” armed with cutting-edge software, to “work round the clock to monitor online breaking news stories and social media discussion.”

According to the RRU’s head, Alex Aiken:

The unit’s round the clock monitoring service has identified several stories of concern during the pilot, ranging from the chemical weapons attack in Syria to domestic stories relating to the NHS and crime.

As Social Media Giants Continue Their Conservative Bias and Purge – AG Barr Holds Workshop to Discuss How to Best Address Tech Tyranny and Censorship

More and more conservative thought is being destroyed by the social media giants and the fake news media. Americans was protection for their free speech rights but the Mainstream Media (MSM) and social media giants don’t. It’s time for action and AG Barr is aware of this issue. On February 19, 2020, AG Bill Barr held a workshop regarding the current environment related to free speech in the media. In remarks for delivery to the workshop, the AG shared three observations:

First, civil tort law can act as an important complement to our law enforcement efforts. Federal criminal prosecution is a powerful, but necessarily limited tool that addresses only the most serious conduct. The threat of civil liability, however, can create industry-wide pressure and incentives to promote safer environments. In fact, Congress has enacted civil laws specifically to supplement criminal enforcement. For example, the Anti-Terrorism Act provides civil redress for victims of terrorist attacks on top of the criminal terrorism laws, yet judicial construction of Section 230 has severely diminished the reach of this civil tool. Civil liability can work hand-in-hand with the department’s law enforcement efforts to promote a safer environment, both online and in the physical world.

Second, broad Section 230 immunity can pose challenges for the department and other federal agencies in certain civil enforcement matters. Actions brought in the public interest by the federal government do not raise the same concerns of mass liability for private speech torts that were at the core of Congress’s concerns when it enacted Section 230. It is questionable whether Section 230 was intended to allow companies to invoke the statute’s immunity against the federal government acting to protect American citizens.

Finally, and importantly, Section 230 immunity is relevant to our efforts to combat lawless spaces online. We are concerned that internet services, under the guise of Section 230, can not only block access to law enforcement — even when officials have secured a court-authorized warrant — but also prevent victims from civil recovery. This would leave victims of child exploitation, terrorism, human trafficking, and other predatory conduct without any legal recourse. Giving broad immunity to platforms that purposefully blind themselves – and law enforcers – to illegal conduct on their services does not create incentives to make the online world safer for children. In fact, it may do just the opposite.

One of US Special Operations Command's Newest Spy Planes Is Hunting Terrorists In Libya

With two other mysterious spy planes now retired, U.S. Special Operations Command appears to have fully transitioned to using newer, modified de Havilland Canada Dash-8s for certain discreet persistent surveillance missions. At least one of these planes is already becoming a regular feature over Libya, where American special operators continue a secretive hunt for terrorists, including individuals with links to the infamous Benghazi attack.

According to the U.S. military’s latest budget request for the 2019 fiscal year, which it released in February 2018, U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM) operates at least two of the twin engine Dash-8s as part of a fleet of aircraft known as SOCOM Tactical Airborne Multi-Sensor Platforms, or STAMP. That program also oversees at least three smaller twin engine Beachcraft King Air B300s.We don’t know the exact configuration of these Dash-8s. Federal Aviation Administration records only shows SOCOM as having registered one aircraft of this type, which carries the U.S. civil registration code N8200L, so the exact status of the other plane is unclear.

But we do know that N8200L’s previous owner was Dynamic Aviation, a contractor that had operated the plane as a surveillance platform on contract to the U.S. Army. Dynamic flew a number of Dash-8s for the Army in two configurations, known by their program names Desert Owl and Saturn Arch.Desert Owl’s primary sensor was a PedRad 7 synthetic aperture radar capable of creating images across an area nearly two miles wide depending on the aircraft’s altitude. It also had a sensor turret with electro-optical and infrared cameras.

The Saturn Arch aircraft carried a “Mission Sensor System,” as well as another sensor called “Big Green.” We don’t know exactly what these pieces of equipment did, but at least one of them could have been a laser imaging system.

Those aircraft also carried a secondary camera turret, as well as another hyperspectral camera, which could create pictures based on an object’s electromagnetic signature, and compact wide-area optical camera system.

It is possible that the Desert Owl planes had additional sensor suites, as well. All of the aircraft, which looked similar externally regardless of configuration, featured satellite data links to transmit information back to ground exploitation stations or share it with troops on the ground in near real time.

US ‘prepared to recognize’ Israeli annexation of parts of West Bank if it restarts talks with Palestine

Israel resuming talks with Palestine is the US' condition for recognizing the former's annexation of parts of the West Bank, the State Department said. Palestinians argue, in that case, there'd be nothing left to negotiate.

“As we have made consistently clear, we are prepared to recognize Israeli actions to extend Israeli sovereignty and the application of Israeli law to areas of the West Bank that the vision foresees as being part of the State of Israel,” a US State Department spokesperson told the Times of Israel paper. However, they specified that it would require Israel “agreeing to negotiate with the Palestinians along the lines set forth in President [Donald] Trump's vision.”

The new Israeli unity government – which formed a week ago after lengthy negotiations between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his rival Benny Gantz of the Blue and White alliance – must give the Palestinians an offer “to achieve statehood based upon specific terms, conditions, territorial dimensions and generous economic support.”

Annexing Palestinian lands was Netanyahu's election promise, but – according to his deal with Gantz – he can't move on with the plan without Washington's blessing.

The State Department spokesperson insisted that the US offer was an “unprecedented and highly beneficial opportunity for the Palestinians,” despite them earlier outright rejecting Trump's so-called ‘deal of the century’ which recognized Israeli rights in those areas.

The US official's comments drew an angry reaction from Palestine, with its foreign ministry branding them “a flagrant coup against… the peace process, the principle of a two-state solution and the relevant United Nations resolutions.”

The Palestinian diplomats accused Washington of “bias” in favor of Israeli occupation of its land. The ministry “wondered what will be left to negotiate about after Israel annexes the occupied Jordan Valley and northern Dead Sea and enforces Israeli law on the illegal settlements spread throughout the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem,” Wafa news agency reported.

Over the weekend, Netanyahu said he was “confident” that Trump would allow him to claim the lands in the West Bank “a couple of months from now.”

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo insisted last week that the annexation was “ultimately… an Israeli decision,” but promised that the Americans will work closely with the Israeli authorities “to share our views of this in a private setting.”

YouTube: California Doctors’ Comments on Reopening the Country Are ‘Misinformation’

YouTube has released a statement on its decision to censor a video of two doctors in Bakersfield, California, making the case for an end to Chinese virus lockdowns.

In a statement provided to 23ABC, the local Bakersfield news station that uploaded censored video, the Google-owned platform said:

We quickly remove flagged content that violate our Community Guidelines, including content that explicitly disputes the efficacy of local healthy authority recommended guidance on social distancing that may lead others to act against that guidance.

However, content that provides sufficient educational, documentary, scientific or artistic (EDSA) context is allowed — for example, news coverage of this interview with additional context. From the very beginning of the pandemic, we’ve had clear policies against COVID-19 misinformation and are committed to continue providing timely and helpful information at this critical time.

YouTube has used the pandemic to increase its censorship and control over the flow of news. It recently introduced “fact check” labels next to videos, and its CEO has warned that any information that contradicts World Health Organization guidelines will be removed from the platform. Over the weekend, the platform took down a video explaining UV light treatment from a life sciences company that has partnered with Cedars-Sinai hospital in L.A.

The video of the Bakersfield doctors’ press conference can still be found on other video-hosting platforms, and the first part remains hosted on other YouTube channels.

Arguing that the Chinese virus has proven less deadly than previously believed, the doctors argued for a speedy reopening of the country.

“We have 39.5 million people, if we just take a basic calculation and extrapolate that out, that equates to about 4.7 million cases throughout the state of California,” said Dr. Erickson. “Which means this thing is widespread, that’s the good news. We’ve seen 1,227 deaths in the state of California with a possible incidents or prevalence of 4.7 million. That means you have a 0.03 chance of dying from COVID-19 in the state of California.”

Sky News: 95% Of England’s Covid Victims Had Underlying Conditions

Recent data from England’s National Health Services (NHS) reveals that 95% of the people diagnosed with COVID-19 who died had serious underlying health issues, findings that roughly align with the data out of New York City, the epicenter of the virus in the United States.

“Ninety-five percent of people who have died with COVID-19 in hospitals in England had underlying health issues,” Sky News reported Tuesday citing data obtained by the outlet.

“The data provided by NHS England shows that, as of 5pm on 26 April, 18,749 people had died in hospital with the virus,” Sky News reports. “In a small number of cases, it was not possible to confirm if a patient did or did not have an underlying health condition. But for those where it was, 95% were found to have serious pre-existing issues. In patients over 80-years-old this figure was 96%, 60-79-years-old 95%, 40-59-years-old 88% and 20-39-years-old 82%.”

Sky News notes that breakdowns for victims under the age of 20 are not possible because it “cannot be disclosed as the sample is so small it would breach patient confidentiality rules to distinguish between those with or without pre-existing conditions.” The data also excludes “hospital deaths in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, in the community or in care homes.”

In a separate report breaking down the demographics of those who have died in connection to the virus, BBC reported Tuesday that “fewer than one in 10 of those who have died have been under the age of 60,” while “more than half of deaths have been among people aged over 80.”

The notably high percentage of underlying condition-connected deaths in England is roughly mirrored in New York City, where an overwhelming percentage of those who have died in America’s hardest-hit city have likewise been confirmed to have head a serious pre-existing condition, which the city specifies as including “diabetes, lung disease, cancer, immunodeficiency, heart disease, hypertension, asthma, kidney disease, GI/liver disease, and obesity.”

University Refuses To Share Terms Of Agreement With Biden To Keep His Senate Records Secret, Report Says

The University of Delaware is reportedly not answering questions about the terms of an agreement that they have with Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden to keep his Senate records secret until he retires from public life.

“These Senate documents are housed by the University of Delaware Library and cover a wide swath of Biden’s political career, but are being kept secret until he ‘retires from public life,’ spokeswoman Andrea Boyle Tippett told The Washington Post in July 2019,” The Daily Caller reported. “Tippett told the DCNF on Tuesday that the University of Delaware would not share the terms of the agreement between the university and Biden detailing why the Senate records may not be released.”

The Associated Press reported in mid-April that Tara Reade, who accused Biden of sexually assaulting her in 1993, said she filed a written report with the Senate’s personnel office “but she didn’t receive a copy of it and has been unable to obtain one since because, she says, Biden’s Senate files are currently at the University of Delaware, which has not yet made them public.”

In an interview with The Daily Caller, Reade called on Biden to release the records, saying, “Joe Biden, I want you to release all the personnel records from 1973 to 2009 and be transparent about your office practices. I would like to hold you accountable for what happened to me, to how your staff protected you and enabled you, bullied me multiple times into silence.”

“You ended my career,” Reade continued. “You ended my job after you assaulted me. You claim to be the champion of women’s rights, but your public persona does not match your personal actions. I want this brought to light and I want you to admit it in public. I want a public apology for calling me a Russian agent and having other people try to smear my character in order to cover your crimes.”
