Tomorrow morning, the SpaceX test flight of the Crew Dragon spacecraft is expected to splash down near 8:45 am ET in the Atlantic Ocean offshore Cape Canaveral. The re-entry track comes in from the northwest, crossing the Pacific coastline near Vancouver, then passing over the continental United States. Spacecraft re-entries can be very visible, as the spacecraft dissipates kinetic energy in the atmosphere. But since this is the first time a Dragon has come in over the US, no one really knows what to expect, or how visible and bright it may become. Reports are that the best visibility may be in the Carolinas, but if you're anywhere near the groundtrack, you may want to give this a shot.
The attached images show a discussion on the Seesat satellite tracking message forum, an article from space.com, and the approximate groundtrack across the United States. The maps show the track of the space station; this doesn't exactly match the capsule (as it will be separating hours before, lowering orbit for re-entry, etc) but it's pretty close as a general concept.
Q relevance: Q and POTUS have both hinted strongly that there's something important going on with space. Also there is interest in where SpaceX falls into the big picture presently. Don't know if Dragon specfically is important to follow, but this is an opportunity to see the spacecraft with your own eyes. First-hand evidence is a good thing …

Those living in parts of the Ohio and Tennessee valleys, the Piedmont region and the southeastern coast of the U.S. may be able to catch a glimpse of the SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule Friday morning as it re-enters Earth's atmosphere with a fiery trail that will end over the Atlantic Ocean a few hundred miles east of Florida.
According to NASA's press kit, "Crew Dragon will autonomously undock from the International Space Station on Friday, March 8, at approximately 2:30 a.m. EST [0730 GMT]. About five hours after Dragon departs the space station it will conduct its deorbit burn, which lasts up to 15 minutes. It takes about 35 to 40 minutes for Dragon to re-enter the Earth's atmosphere and splash down in the Atlantic Ocean, which is currently targeted for approximately 8:45 a.m. EST [1345 GMT]."
There has been a lively discussion on the satellite observer Seesat Internet List about spotting the bright plasma trail created by the Dragon capsule as it rushes through the atmosphere, quite possibly becoming bright enough to be seen even through the light of day.
Dragon's final ground track runs across North America, from approximately just north of Vancouver Island on the Pacific Coast; southeast to Charleston, South Carolina, on the East Coast; and out to sea over the open waters of the Atlantic.
Because this is the first time this re-entry vehicle has traveled this particular course, there is some uncertainty about what might be seen. It appears that the best odds of seeing a possible fireball caused by the Dragon capsule will be for those within about 100 miles (160 kilometers) of a line extending from central Kentucky to the South Carolina coast, near Charleston, from about 8:42 to 8:44 a.m. EST.
Observers might even be able to hear the re-entering Dragon by virtue of a sonic boom, which would create a distinct "thump" as the vehicle speeds by. The best chances to hear a boom for this to happen will likely be near the South Carolina coast.
If you live farther to the northwest — from roughly central Iowa, to central Illinois and southern Indiana — it's worth a try to spot the beginning of the Dragon re-entry. In the Central time zone, cast your gaze upward between about 7:34 and 7:37 a.m.
The Dragon capsule weighs approximately 10 tons (9 metric tons). In his book "Observing Earth Satellites" (Van Nostrand Reinhold Co., 1983), author Desmond King-Hele wrote:
"When a two-ton satellite enters the atmosphere, usually at a speed close to 8 km (5 miles) per second, it possesses prodigious energy of motion, roughly equal to that of 50,000 cars all traveling at 100 km (62 miles) per hour. Nearly all that energy is converted to heat and light as the satellite plunges into the thicker air. It usually begins to glow at a height of about 90 km (55 miles) and continues its firework display down to a height of 30 km (20 miles). By then it has lost most of its initial velocity, and any remaining fragments begin to fall at a steep angle. People who have seen a satellite burn up all agree that it is a spectacular sight."
Sadly, as of this writing, the latest weather forecasts suggest rather cloudy skies across much of the potential visibility zone on Friday morning.

4. Antibiotic resistant pathogens are infiltrating our hospitals every day due to the out of control illegal and legal immigration going on in this country with Trump supporting more.
5. America's Doctors are getting burned out and we are doing nothing about it.
6. We are still putting our youngsters into huge school loan debt with no end or plans to fix for many a substandard education.
7. The ivy league schools still only accept the well connected.
8. No banks have paid for the issues they caused in 2008.
9. We have millions of poor and unhealthy elderly Americans that need a hell of a lot more help than the sick immigrants at the border.

On Thursday evening, Judge T.S. Ellis rejected Mueller’s “excessive” recommendation that Paul Manafort serve 19.5 to 24.5 years in prison after a Virginia jury convicted Manafort on 8 counts of bank and tax fraud.
The Reagan-appointed judge sentenced Manafort to 47 months in prison.
In another blow to Mueller, Judge T.S. Ellis also wants Paul Manafort to be given credit for the 9 months he has already served in jail.
If this happens, Manafort will only have to serve 38 months (just over 3 years) in jail.
“Judge wants Paul Manafort to be given credit for the nine months he’s spent in jail, after a different judge revoked his bond last June. If that happens, Manafort’s time in prison from now on would total a little more than three years,” crime reporter Shimon Prokupecz tweeted on Thursday evening.
Paul Manafort was seated in a wheelchair and green prison jumpsuit during Thursday’s hearing and pleaded with the judge to have some compassion, reported CNBC.
“The last two years have been the most difficult for my family and I,” Manafort said in his plea.
“To say I have been humiliated and ashamed would be a gross understatement,” he said.
Judge Ellis rejected Mueller’s “excessive” recommendation and gave Manafort a much lighter sentence.
Manafort faces sentencing in a separate case in a DC court next week.
A couple weeks ago, Mueller released his redacted sentencing memo on Paul Manafort in the Washington D.C. case where Manafort was on trial for his Ukrainian lobbying.
Mueller accused Manafort of “repeatedly and brazenly” breaking the law — recall, Mueller gave Tony Podesta immunity in this case even though just like Manafort, he failed to file a FARA form in a timely manner.
Corrupt Obama-appointed Judge Amy Berman Jackson is assigned to Paul Manafort’s DC case where he was charged with two felony counts and will be sentenced next week by Jackson.
Mueller did not disclose how many years he recommended Manafort serve in the DC case, however, under the law Manafort faces 10 years maximum prison time for two felony counts.
President Trump should take a blowtorch to Mueller and pardon Manafort after his second round of sentencing next week.

World Jewish Congress: Democrats Watered Down Resolution on Antisemitism
World Jewish Congress president Ronald S. Lauder criticized the U.S. House of Representatives for “watering down” a resolution on antisemitism Thursday that House Democrats broadened to include a variety of other groups.
The resolution, which passed 407-23, was prompted by the recent antisemitic remarks of Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN). However, Democratic Party leaders ensured that the resolution did not actually mention Omar, and did not focus on antisemitism, but also included a variety of other groups that have been targets of discrimination in other contexts.

“Instead, the House has regrettably chosen to water down the resolution, thus sanctioning Representative Ilhan Omar’s remarks, which put the loyalty of American Jewry into question. A leading Russian opposition politician, former Deputy Prime Minister Boris Nemtsov, has been shot dead in Moscow, Russian officials say.
An unidentified attacker in a car shot Mr Nemtsov four times in the back as he crossed a bridge in view of the Kremlin, police say.
He died hours after appealing for support for a march on Sunday in Moscow against the war in Ukraine.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has condemned the murder, the Kremlin says.
President Putin has assumed "personal control" of the investigation into the killing, said his spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
Investigators said the murder could have been "a provocation aimed at destabilising the country".
The investigative committee said in a statement that several motives for the killing were being considered including "Islamic extremism".
US President Barack Obama condemned the "brutal murder" and called on the Russian government to conduct a "prompt, impartial and transparent investigation".
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko described Mr Nemtsov as a "bridge between Ukraine and Russia".
"The murderers' shot has destroyed it. I think it is not by accident," he said in a statement published on his administration's Facebook page.
In a recent interview, Mr Nemtsov had said he feared Mr Putin would have him killed because of his opposition to the war in Ukraine.
Mr Nemtsov, 55, served as first deputy prime minister under President Boris Yeltsin in the 1990s.
He had earned a reputation as an economic reformer while governor of one of Russia's biggest cities, Nizhny Novgorod.
Falling out of favour with Yeltsin's successor, Mr Putin, he became an outspoken opposition politician.

I usually make butt plugs to insult dictators, homophobes and politicians. When I heard Donald Trump's remarks about Mexicans and Latinos from South America I was especially angry. You see, I was born and raised in Mexico and moved to United States when I was 11 years old. So I don't approve of what Donald Trump, Ted cruz and much of the Republican Party have to say about us hard working Americans.
When Donald Trump announced he was running for presidenthe decided to use Latinos as a scapegoat and blame us for everything that is ailing America. Many republican politicians have done this before but never in such an overt and offensive way.
I’ve seen people blaming us for taking "their" jobs instead of blaming the corporations and Republicans that give tax incentivesto corporations that outsource American jobs. I’ve seen Klans men blaming us for infectious diseases instead of blaming the lack of healthcare and vaccinations. I’ve seen people label us as drug muleseven though America sends their guns and their drug money to South America while American Banks Laundry the drug money. Even though I’m pretty familiar with racist lies, this new talking point about Mexico sending their rapists to the United States was a new low. Latinos and immigrants have become the sacrificial goat that republicans love to pick on because even though there are millions of we don't come out and vote. So this is why Republicans like to beat us down in order to get ratings and votes from their racist base voters.
However, this is what the Republican party has evolved into. A bunch of racist Orangutans throwing shit at the wall and seeing what sticks or puts them on TV.
Donald Trump is not a dumb man. He might have been born with a silver spoon and declared bankruptcy 4 or 5 times but he is not stupid. He decided to attack immigrants and specially Mexicans because he thinks we have no power. If you haven't read his comments here they are.

I came here with my family thanks to my step father who is also and Immigrant, but from Finland, so he doesn’t face the racism that immigrants from South American do. We came here looking for the American Dream and my parents worked their butts off so my brothers and I could go to college and serve in the armed forces, which my brother did.
