Hillary & CIA Director Panetta Illegally Wiretapped, Spied on Americans Seeking Reward on Osama bin Laden
During the international manhunt for terror king Osama bin Laden, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and CIA Director Leon Panetta were running a sweet side Op that involved illegally wiretapping and surveillance of U.S. citizens, according to shocking details in the new Deep State book PAINE: How We Dismantled the FBI in Our Pajamas.
Clinton, running the State Dept. at the time, and Panetta again running the CIA. A formidable Democratic duo. Generals of the Deep State, no doubt. Enter the little-known Rewards for Justice Program where anyone can submit tips to help capture America’s most wanted terrorists and receive a hefty cash reward if they are arrested. Or at least that’s how it is supposed to operate.
The price on bin Laden’s head was $25 million.
But according to revelations in the new Deep State book PAINE: How We Dismantled the FBI in Our Pajamas:
American citizens or retired federal agents who were hunting Osama bin Laden became government targets. If their tips and Intel were credible – at least under Hillary Clinton – their submissions became a license for surveillance. That included any information filtering into the program about bin Laden living or being spotted in Iran.
“Any information about Iran was handled by the people at the very top of the State Department,” one intelligence insider with knowledge of the program’s working said.
Another intelligence official went even further, alleging credible tips pinpointing bin Laden in Iran were not only NOT paid because they were never followed up – but the whistleblowers were wiretapped, spied on and monitored to see what they were doing with the information.
“There was a concern about leaking details to the press or having people rail against the government for ignoring their ticket to a $25 million reward,” one insider said.
Instead of using the information to seek bin Laden, State Dept. and CIA resources were being expended to keep a close eye on the whistleblowers who dared to try and collect a public reward for bin Laden’s capture. A status report on each such person and entity was being forwarded to State Dept. brass on a “weekly” basis, one insider confirmed.
The intelligence program was operating like a counterintelligence program, with the Obama administration – Clinton and Panetta – pulling strings to safeguard and kill any information regarding bin Laden in Iran. A sophisticated cruel misinformation campaign dreamt up and implemented by sinister actors.

Actor warns ‘blood in the streets’ if Dems don’t win midterms: ‘We will have a revolution for real’
James Cromwell, political activist and leftist actor, has issued a dire warning for the United States should Democrats not win November’s midterm elections.
During Sunday’s Carney Awards in Santa Monica, California, Cromwell said that if Democrats don’t win the midterms, there will be “blood in the streets.”
What did he say?
Cromwell, 78, told Variety that the current state of affairs in the U.S. is “nascent fascism.”
“We always had a turnkey, totalitarian state — all we needed was an excuse, and all the institutions were in place to turn this into pure fascism,” Cromwell explained. “If we don’t stop [President Trump] now, then we will have a revolution for real. Then, there will be blood in the streets.”
Cromwell, who was honored at the event for his work as a character actor, made similar remarks in a speech at the event.
“We’re living in very curious times,” he said, “and something is coming up which is desperately important to this country and to this planet.”
“That,” Cromwell added, “is an election, in which we hopefully, in some measure, we are going to take back our democracy. We will have a government that represents us and not the donor class. We will cut through the corruption, [and] we won’t have to do what comes next, which is either a non-violent revolution, or a violent one, because this has got to end.”

Cromwell is no stranger to issuing a call-to-arms over politics — and especially targeting Hollywood to be more vocal in their activism.
Cromwell served a seven-day jail sentence in 2017 for refusing to pay a fine and community service in connection with his actions at a 2015 protest in Wawayanda, New York.
Also in 2017, the activist actor told the Daily Mail, “This community has got to get more engaged. This community has got to get more political. More than our survival as an industry, our appropriateness is at stake. What’s really at stake is our humanity and all sentient life.”

Armed Migrants in Caravan Opened Fire on Mexican Cops, Say Authorities
Mexican authorities arrested two Hondurans who allegedly shot at federal police officers escorting the migrant caravan across the southern state of Chiapas. The attack follows shortly after government warnings about Molotov cocktail attacks around a second caravan near the border with Guatemala.
The attack took place near Ignacio Zaragoza, Chiapas, when members of Mexico’s Federal Police were escorting the migrant caravan as part of “Operativo Caminante” or “Operation Walker” across the southern border state. According to Mexico’s Interior Secretariat, two men identified only as 22-year-old “Jerson” and 17-year-old “Carlos” spotted the group of police officers guarding the caravan and began firing at them.

Ex-Valeant, Philidor executives get prison for fraud
A former executive at Valeant Pharmaceuticals International Inc and the former head of a start-up mail-order pharmacy were sentenced to one year in prison on Tuesday after being convicted of defrauding the drugmaker through a secret kickback scheme. Gary Tanner, 41, the former Valeant executive, and Andrew Davenport, 50, the former chief executive of Philidor Rx Services LLC, were also ordered to forfeit $9.7 million, representing the alleged kickbacks. The sentences were imposed by U.S. District Judge Loretta Preska in Manhattan. Both defendants had been convicted in May on four charges, including honest services wire fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering. Prosecutors had recommended prison terms of between 2-1/2 and 10 years for Tanner, and 2-1/2 and eight years for Davenport. The defendants said no prison time was justified. Lawyers for Tanner and Davenport did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The case was the first criminal prosecution arising from multiple probes into Valeant’s business practices, including its ties to the now-defunct Philidor. Those ties began drawing scrutiny in October 2015, when investors learned that Valeant had in 2014 acquired an option to buy Philidor, and was suspected of using it to boost sales. The revelations contributed to a steep fall in Valeant’s share price that was compounded by the probes and the Laval, Quebec-based company’s heavy debt load. Management was overhauled, and Valeant changed its name to Bausch Health Cos in July, taken from the name of its Bausch & Lomb eye care unit. Tanner had managed Valeant’s relationship with Philidor as well as Valeant’s “alternative fulfillment” program, through which the drugmaker sought to increase prescriptions for its own drugs instead of generic substitutes.
Prosecutors accused Tanner of steering Valeant business to Philidor, while concealing a $9.7 million kickback from Davenport that came from the roughly $50 million Davenport received when Valeant acquired the option to buy his company. “I deeply regret giving money to Gary Tanner,” Davenport told Preska. Prosecutors said that to keep the scheme secret, Tanner often used an email account with the name “Brian Wilson” to communicate with Davenport and sabotage potential business with rival pharmacies. “Tanner was entrusted to manage Valeant’s relationship with Davenport’s company,” U.S. Attorney Geoffrey Berman said in a statement. “Instead, they devised a scheme to pillage Valeant and share the proceeds.” The case is U.S. v Tanner et al, U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York, No. 17-cr-00061.

A controversial adviser to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has issued a sobering warning to Greece, saying it “will end up in a catastrophe” within hours if it decides to wage war on Ankara.
Perhaps having some ‘insight’, known only to the adviser, Yigit Bulut stated: “Greece will end up in a catastrophe within three to four hours if it wages a war against Turkey.” Notably, the suggestion comes from someone who once said Greece is not a challenge to Turkey as “it would be like a fly picking a fight with a giant.”
Bulut's boastful remarks – made recently on local TV – came amid another round of tensions between Turkey and Greece.
Earlier in October, Turkey slammed Athens for using a military frigate to intercept the Turkish search and exploration vessel Barbaros Hayreddin Pasa, in the Mediterranean. The Greek warship asked the vessel to withdraw, claiming it lacked authorization to explore the Greek continental shelf. Amid the confrontation, the Turkish Naval Forces, active in the area, reportedly rushed to protect the ship, leading to diplomatic sparring between the neighbors following the encounter.
Relations between Athens and Ankara have been strained since Ottoman times, and from time to time, both sides accuse each other of provocations, but nothing indicates that any government would actually plot an all-out war. In 1952, both nations joined NATO, making a military conflict even more unlikely.
Bulut, meanwhile, is a rather controversial figure in Turkish politics. He was named senior adviser to Erdogan in 2013, and later became chief adviser on the economy. A former journalist and TV presenter, Bulut is no stranger to crass language. He once claimed that Erdogan’s enemies planned to kill the leader “with telekenisis.”
The politician has also baffled the public with bizarre conspiracy theories, for example that German airline Lufthansa secretly stoked anti-government protests in Turkey in hopes of diverting traffic from Istanbul airport, or that foreign chefs appearing on cooking shows on Turkish TV are, in fact, undercover spies.
He has never been shy about striking a belligerent tone either. In 2015, Bulut declared that he is “ready to die” for Erdogan. “I have two licensed pistols and I have collected hundreds of bullets over the years thanks to my legal rights,” the president’s adviser stated at the time.

Police Officer in Charge of Security for Charlie Hebdo Boss Allegedly Linked to Islamic Radicalism
A French police officer in charge of security for Charlie Hebdo managing editor Riss has been relieved of duty after investigators found he had viewed radical Islamic material and feared he may have become radicalised himself.
The officer, who was a member of the Service de la protection (SDLP) which protects high-profile dignitaries, was suspected of radicalisation following concerns from the Directorate General of Internal Security (DGSI), France’s domestic intelligence agency, BFMTV reports.
The DGSI found that the officer, who is a Muslim, had viewed and interacted with known Islamist websites and said that the officer’s colleagues had reported a change in his behaviour which they labelled as “disturbing”.
A source from within the police said that the evidence proved that the policeman was “incompatible” with the task of protecting the Charlie Hebdo writer who, along with his colleagues, was targetted for death by radical Islamic terrorists in January 2015.
Riss had been shot in the shoulder while 12 others were killed, the majority of whom being the staff of the satirical newspaper.
The officer is planning to appeal the decision to remove him from his assignment, according to the officer’s lawyer who said that a formal complaint had been filed.
The officer previously protected imam of Drancy Hassen Chalghoumi who was targetted in 2010 by radicals over his support for banning the full-face Islamic veil which was proposed and passed by former French President Nicolas Sarkozy.
The issue of the Islamic veil ban was recently brought back into public debate in France following a United Nations (UN) Human Rights Committee report which denounced it as a violation of human rights. The UN has given France six months to revise the ban which has been in place since 2010.

Uber defended its business model at the Court of Appeal on Tuesday in the latest stage of a long-running battle over the classification of its drivers as self-employed, a designation that entitles them to few workplace rights in Britain. The Silicon Valley-based company, which could be valued at $120 billion in a flotation, has faced protests, regulator crackdowns and license losses around the world as it challenges existing competitors and rapidly expands.
In 2016, two British drivers successfully argued at a tribunal that Uber exerted significant control over them to provide an on-demand taxi service and that they should be given workers’ rights, which include the minimum wage. Unions argue that the gig economy - where people often work for various firms at the same time without fixed contracts - is exploitative, whilst Uber says its drivers enjoy the flexibility and on average earn much more than the minimum wage. It says its practices have been widely used for decades in Britain by minicabs, private hire vehicles which cannot be hailed in the street like traditional black taxis. “Many mini-cab companies operate a business model under which drivers are self-employed, own their own cars, and bear the risk of their own expenses,” the firm said in a court document. But co-claimant in the case and chair of the drivers’ branch of The Independent Workers Union of Great Britain James Farrar criticized the company. “It’s two years since we beat Uber at the Employment Tribunal, yet minicab drivers all over the UK are still waiting for justice, while Uber exhausts endless appeals,” he said ahead of the hearing.
In Britain, the self-employed are entitled to only basic protections such as health and safety but workers receive the minimum wage, paid holidays and rest breaks. Uber has introduced a number of benefits for drivers in recent months. The U.S. firm is embroiled in legal action around the world where courts have taken differing approaches to the issue of workplace rights. The matter has risen up the political agenda in many countries as more people work for companies without fixed hours or a guaranteed income. A march backed by several trade unions and involving cleaners, receptionists and security officers was held in central London last Tuesday. The government launched a review into working practices last year but has yet to respond after a consultation closed in the summer. A reply is due in “due course,” according to a business ministry spokeswoman.

The election, which occurred seven weeks ago, saw major gains for the populist, anti-mass migration Sweden Democrats and despite a majority of Moderate Party politicians being open to talks with the party, Kristersson has resisted calls to work with them.
Sweden Democrat leader Jimmie Åkesson has also put his name forward saying that he could attempt to form a government. Åkesson said that he would reach out to the Moderates and the Christian Democrats for support, if given the chance, but added that he was also open to talking to the Liberals and Centre Party, as well.

Local law enforcement officials, the media, and some colleagues criticized Mueller and the FBI for what they believed was the bureau’s role in covering up for the FBI’s longtime dealings with mobster and informant James “Whitey” Bulger.
Bulger was a kingpin and a confidential informant for the FBI from the 1970s in the bureau’s efforts to take down the Italian mafia in Boston. But Bulger’s relationship with his FBI handler Special Agent John Connolly became toxic. It was later discovered that Connolly went out of his way to protect Bulger and aided the crime boss against investigations being conducted by the Boston PD and the Massachusetts State Police. According to reports at the time, Connolly would inform Bulger of wiretaps and surveillance being conducted by law enforcement.
Journalist Kevin Cullen wrote extensively about the FBI’s involvement with Bulger and raised concerns about the old case in a 2011 article in Boston.com after Obama asked Congress to make an exception to allow Mueller to stay on two-extra years beyond the mandated 10 year limit as FBI director.
Cullen said in his story that Mueller who was first an assistant US attorney, “then as the acting US attorney in Boston” had written “letters to the parole and pardons board throughout the 1980s opposing clemency for the four men framed by FBI lies. Of course, Mueller was also in that position while Whitey Bulger was helping the FBI cart off his criminal competitors even as he buried bodies in shallow graves along the Neponset.”
In 2001, those four men, who were convicted in 1965 of Teddy Deegan’s murder were exonerated by the courts. It was discovered that the FBI withheld evidence from the court to protect their informant that would have cleared the men, according to reports. At the time, the bureau buried the truth to protect Vincent “Jimmy” Flemmi, their informant, who was the brother of Stevie Flemmi, a partner of Bulger.

Schoen noted for these reasons alone there should be concern about Mueller’s special counsel.
“As I have mentioned before, under Mueller’s watch in Boston, the second most corrupt relationship between an FBI agent (John Connolly, now in prison for murder-related charges) and his information (Whitey Bulger) unfolded,” said Schoen. “Mueller was neck deep in it and has never answered the questions that the media asked rhetorically, but that should have been asked by a grand jury of Congressional Committee. Even such dubious sources as the NY Times, Boston Globe, and Huffington Post have demanded answers. Many have suggested he should never have been FBI Director.”

“This system basically allows surveillance cameras to talk to the public through their individual phones,” Purdue Univeristy doctoral student Siyuan Cao said.

Purdue University's SIMBA Labs has developed a camera-to-human surveillance program called PHADE otherwise known as Private Human Addressing. The name of this new program, seems appropriate as everyone's privacy will soon phade fade away. (Pun intended.)
Before I discuss PHADE I would like to point out a few important facts.
Purdue University is also known as "Purdue Homeland University (PHU)." PHU's mission is to "enhance Homeland Security.and validate Homeland Security technology."
DHS/PHU also has an entire section devoted to giving threat assessments of K-12 grade students, "we have created a threat assessment tool that schools can use for an all-hazards approach." You cannot make this stuff up.
PHADE's effect on everyone's privacy cannot be understated.
Forget Facebook and Twitter's massive surveillance program, PHADE will make those programs look trivial due to its shear size. With the number of cellphone users expected to reach 4.68 billion by next year, PHADE will allow governments to pry into people's lives like never before.
Purdue University's newsroom claims PHADE will protect everyone's privacy by blurring "partial details." But contradicts itself by boasting that "government agencies can use PHADE to enhance public safety."

We define this kind of problem as Private Human Addressing and develop a real-time end-to-end system called PHADE to solve it. Unlike traditional data transmission protocols that need to first learn the destination’s address, our cameras rely on viewing user’s motion patterns, and use the uniqueness of these patterns as the address for communication. Once receiving the wireless broadcast from the cameras, the user’s phone can locally compare the motion address of the packet against its own motion sensor data, and accept the packet upon a good match."
This is truly frightening, PHADE allows CCTV cameras to identify people in real-time even if they don't know the cellphones IP/MAC address.
"Without knowing users’ smartphone addresses, PHADE is able to communicate with them relying on the motion patterns captured by cameras and using these patterns as destination addresses."
The paper goes onto to warn people that PHADE can identify people by how they walk and what they are looking at in real-time.

1) Pray that the satanists and witches would not be successful in recruiting people into satanism and witchcraft through the Halloween parties and recruitment goings-on during this time.
2) Pray that God would protect children from being spiritually harmed by eating candy that has been prayed over and cursed by satanists. (Some companies produce their own cursed candy and other candy is cursed by witches and satanists before they hand it out to Trick-or-Treaters.)
3) Pray that Christians would heed the Holy Spirit’s conviction and understand that Halloween is not of God, and that they would understand that they are courting the God-sent delusion if they do not turn from this willful fellowship with devils. Pray they would repent of participating in Halloween and all occult-related activities.
4) Have everyone in the group renounce out loud the times they participated in Halloween or any other occult related things, such as using tarot cards, ouija boards, reading occult-themed books, watching occult related movies, etc. All Christians need to do this as soon as possible after they are saved. Every bit of place (permission to afflict their lives) they gave Satan before and after they were saved needs to be taken away. They need to renounce all works of darkness (all the place they gave to the devil through touching the unclean thing) in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
5) Pray that God would arrange circumstances so that people who are being prepared for ritual human sacrifice would escape. Pray that Satan’s followers would fall asleep so the people can escape. Pray that God would work and perform miracles so they can get away. He is willing to do this and has done this mightily in the past in response to the prayers of his saints. God is against this evil and he does act if His people will believe and pray.
6) Pray that traffic accidents, fires, and all manner of planned disasters would not be fulfilled as a result of curses on this dark night. Satan’s followers conjure demons to work destruction on this night especially. Also pray that the spells, curses and various incantations would be cancelled rather than fulfilled on Halloween night.
7) Pray that the people who escape would surrender their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ and continue to grow in their knowledge and faithfulness to him.
8) Pray that satanists defect from satanism and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ and help the victims who are being held escape so they won’t be sacrificed. (Many witches and satanists who were conceived and reared for this purpose are being held for human sacrifice. Pray that they will escape as well.) God has done this before and will do it again. Pray that God would cover witch and satanist escapees with his divine protection so they would not be found and killed. Pray that they would soon be born again and protected from being killed in retaliation if they come forward and speak out about these atrocities.
9) Pray that God would intervene and create circumstances that will prevent the ceremonial sacrifices from taking place.

Steve Schmidt: President Donald Trump Is 'Stoking And Inciting' Worst Among Us
MSNBC contributor Steve Schmidt says conservative radio hosts like Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin have “blood on their hands” for mass shootings and other crimes perpetrated by “crazy people.”
The Republican strategist told “All In” host Chris Hayes this week that a recent mail bomb threat to prominent Democrats, along with the Tree of Life synagogue massacre that claimed 11 lives, were partially incited by well-known conservative men and ideologically aligned organizations.
“Mark Levin, and Rush Limbaugh, and Breitbart, and NewsBusters, and Judicial Watch, and all the rest of them, have blood on their hands for the incitements that they have made that have triggered and radicalized these crazy people,” Mr. Schmidt said Monday.
The media watchdog NewsBusters responded late Monday by blasting the “faux Republican strategist” and his “vile” claims.
“This was just another one of Schmidt’s fact-free, rage-fueled pontifications against the right that he has become known for,” the nonprofit organization wrote.
Mr. Schmidt also went on to call President Trump’s rhetoric on thousands of migrants marching to the U.S. in a giant caravan a “Reichstag fire” akin to terrorist propaganda.
“What we are seeing, just as we saw young, displaced, evil or sick or just plain losers be radicalized by ISIS, we are seeing the same thing in the United States right now,” he said. “These two losers, these two sick people, these two evil people, three evil people, being radicalized by this right-wing propaganda industry, and that’s exactly what it is.”

There are many documented false flag attacks, where a government carries out a terror attack … and then falsely blames its enemy for political purposes.
In the following 53 instances, officials in the government which carried out the attack (or seriously proposed an attack) admits to it, either orally or in writing:
(1) Japanese troops set off a small explosion on a train track in 1931, and falsely blamed it on China in order to justify an invasion of Manchuria. (2) A major with the Nazi SS admitted at the Nuremberg trials that – under orders from the chief of the Gestapo – he and some other Nazi operatives faked attacks on their own people and resources which they blamed on the Poles, to justify the invasion of Poland.
(3) Nazi general Franz Halder also testified at the Nuremberg trials that Nazi leader Hermann Goering admitted to setting fire to the German parliament building in 1933, and then falsely blaming the communists for the arson.
(4) Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev admitted in writing that the Soviet Union’s Red Army shelled the Russian village of Mainila in 1939 – while blaming the attack on Finland – as a basis for launching the “Winter War” against Finland. Russian president Boris Yeltsin agreed that Russia had been the aggressor in the Winter War.
(5) The Russian Parliament, current Russian president Putin and former Soviet leader Gorbachev all admit that Soviet leader Joseph Stalin ordered his secret police to execute 22,000 Polish army officers and civilians in 1940, and falsely blame it on the Nazis.
(6) The British government admits that – between 1946 and 1948 – it bombed 5 ships carrying Jews attempting to flee the Holocaust to seek safety in Palestine, set up a fake group called “Defenders of Arab Palestine”, and then had the psuedo-group falsely claim responsibility for the bombings (and see this, this and this).
(7) Israel admits that in 1954, an Israeli terrorist cell operating in Egypt planted bombs in several buildings, including U.S. diplomatic facilities, then left behind “evidence” implicating the Arabs as the culprits (one of the bombs detonated prematurely, allowing the Egyptians to identify the bombers, and several of the Israelis later confessed) (and see this and this).
(8) The CIA admits that it hired Iranians in the 1950′s to pose as Communists and stage bombings in Iran in order to turn the country against its democratically-elected prime minister.
(9) The Turkish Prime Minister admitted that the Turkish government carried out the 1955 bombing on a Turkish consulate in Greece – also damaging the nearby birthplace of the founder of modern Turkey – and blamed it on Greece, for the purpose of inciting and justifying anti-Greek violence.
(10) The British Prime Minister admitted to his defense secretary that he and American president Dwight Eisenhower approved a plan in 1957 to carry out attacks in Syria and blame it on the Syrian government as a way to effect regime change.

A Campbell Soup Company executive who tweeted about conspiracy theories involving former hedge fund manager George Soros is no longer with the company, a spokesperson confirmed to Gizmodo. Campbell’s vice president of government affairs Kelly Johnston tweeted Monday that Soros’ Open Society Foundations was providing aid to a migrant caravan currently making its way to the Mexican border, a claim Open Society says is baseless.
Tweeting from an account that’s no longer active, Johnston claimed that Soros’ organization was the puppet master behind “troop carriers” and “rail cars taking [the migrants] north.” Without any apparent evidence for his claims, Johnston also tweeted that Open Society “planned and is executing this, including where they defecate.” The since-deleted tweet was shared by the New York Times’ Kenneth Vogel.
The company told CNN last week that Johnston’s remarks on Twitter did not reflect the position of the company. A spokesperson for Campbell’s told Gizmodo in a statement by email that Johnston’s last day with the company was Thursday.
“Mr. Johnston and the company discussed in August that he would transition out of his role with his departure scheduled for early November,” the spokesperson said. “In the last few days, the company and Mr. Johnston agreed that under the current circumstances it would be best to accelerate the timing of his departure.”
Responding to Johnston’s remarks in a tweet on Tuesday, Open Society said that “neither Mr. Soros nor Open Society is funding this effort,” adding that it does, however, “support the historic U.S. commitment to welcoming people fleeing oppression and violence in their homelands.”

Mr. Burkman made waves last year by leading a call to pass legislation banning gay athletes from taking jobs with National Football League teams, in the wake of Michael Sam trying to join an NFL squad.

"I'll be the first to admit our current political climate makes that easier said than done, but necessity is the mother of invention, and eventually, it will be done," he said. Billions missing from frozen Gaddafi accounts in Belgium - reports
Prosecutors are investigating whether Belgian banks paid out interest and dividends on accounts frozen under UN sanctions in 2011 after the ouster of the Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi.
Up to €5 billion ($5.7 billion) could have been disbursed to people controlling Libyan accounts, including militia groups in the country which stand accused of human rights abuses, according to a report by public broadcaster RTBF which cited an unidentified source.
RTBF said that when the UN agreed to freeze deposits held by Gaddafi’s administration abroad, Belgium had done so but had not halted payments of interest and dividends.
With NATO’s intervention in 2011, the UN introduced sanctions against the Libyan government’s assets, effectively seizing roughly $67 billion from the Libyan Investment Authority (LIA), held across Europe and North America. In the EU, national governments froze only the original amounts, while the interest and dividends earned after 2011 remained a liquid asset.
Belgian Foreign Minister Didier Reynders told reporters on Tuesday he had not been involved in the decision to unblock interest on deposits.
“This [decision to unblock funds] is the responsibility of the Finance Ministry. I have not headed it since December 6, 2011, and have not made any decisions on this matter," Reynders said, recalling that the permission to partially unfreeze Libyan accounts was issued by the kingdom's treasury in October 2012, when the Finance Ministry was headed by Steven Vanackere.
The United Nations is also investigating the alleged embezzlement of billions of euro that disappeared from the Gaddafi accounts, according to Belgian MP Georges Gilkinet.
“UN documents confirm that Belgium failed to comply with a UN resolution on freezing Libyan assets,” Gilkinet told RTBF, adding that he had only received fragmentary information from Belgian authorities. The politician said it is necessary “to clarify the situation, which may lead to a big scandal, because hundreds of millions of euros were sent to unknown individuals in Libya."
An investigation, by Brussels-based European affairs weekly Politico, discovered in February “big, regular outflows of stock dividends, bond income and interest payments,” from the Gaddafi-linked funds kept in Belgium, suggesting a “loophole in the sanctions regime.”

The port city is the last major hub allowing Anslar Allah to receive supplies, including food and medicine, for the part of the country controlled by the movement. If the port city is captured by the coalition, the already existing humanitarian crisis in northwestern Yemen will become even worse.

Prosecutors are investigating whether Belgian banks paid out interest and dividends on accounts frozen under UN sanctions in 2011 after the ouster of the Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi.

With NATO’s intervention in 2011, the UN introduced sanctions against the Libyan government’s assets, effectively seizing roughly $67 billion from the Libyan Investment Authority (LIA), held across Europe and North America. In the EU, national governments froze only the original amounts, while the interest and dividends earned after 2011 remained a liquid asset.
Belgian Foreign Minister Didier Reynders told reporters on Tuesday he had not been involved in the decision to unblock interest on deposits.
“This [decision to unblock funds] is the responsibility of the Finance Ministry. I have not headed it since December 6, 2011, and have not made any decisions on this matter," Reynders said, recalling that the permission to partially unfreeze Libyan accounts was issued by the kingdom's treasury in October 2012, when the Finance Ministry was headed by Steven Vanackere.
The United Nations is also investigating the alleged embezzlement of billions of euro that disappeared from the Gaddafi accounts, according to Belgian MP Georges Gilkinet.
“UN documents confirm that Belgium failed to comply with a UN resolution on freezing Libyan assets,” Gilkinet told RTBF, adding that he had only received fragmentary information from Belgian authorities. The politician said it is necessary “to clarify the situation, which may lead to a big scandal, because hundreds of millions of euros were sent to unknown individuals in Libya."
An investigation, by Brussels-based European affairs weekly Politico, discovered in February “big, regular outflows of stock dividends, bond income and interest payments,” from the Gaddafi-linked funds kept in Belgium, suggesting a “loophole in the sanctions regime.”

I sent a physical check to two different companies. Handwritten checks.

MITCHELL was a member of BMB. On June 22, 2014, MITCHELL and other members of BMB attended a birthday party in the backyard of a residence on East 232nd Street in the Bronx. MITCHELL obtained a gun from fellow BMB member Donque Tyrell, a/k/a “Polo Rell,” then used that gun to shoot and kill Potterfield as he ran from the BMB members. “We have a bad habit of not being able to stop the pendulum in the middle,” said retired Col. Joe Collins, a professor at the National War College. That context has some observers — including the general arguably most associated with the Iraq and Afghanistan wars — cautioning that as the Army gears up for war on the European plains, it must not forget the lessons it has paid such a high price in blood to learn.

STATSCAN SCOOPED UP 15 YEARS OF PERSONAL FINANCIAL DATA FROM CANADIAN CREDIT BUREAU (BASTARDS MOVING ON COMPLETE SURVEILLANCE)
As Statistics Canada plans to build a massive new personal information bank with the real-time financial transaction data of hundreds of thousands of Canadians, Global News has learned the agency has scooped up 15 years’ worth of credit rating information from a major international credit bureau which could include millions of Canadians. The data harvest was done without the consent or knowledge of those Canadians whose credit history was passed on Statistics Canada.
Statistics Canada, which has broad powers to compel any organization to turn over data that organization collects, directed the credit bureau TransUnion of Canada Inc., based in Burlington, Ont., to provide social insurance numbers, names, addresses, dates-of-birth and detailed credit information, including balances owed, balances overdue, and more than 30 other fields or categories of data.
Statistics Canada could not immediately say how many records were retrieved from TransUnion. TransUnion confirmed the data transfer but would not say how many records were transferred, but implied it was not its entire Canadian consumer data set.
Canada’s privacy commissioner, Daniel Therrien, noted in his recent annual report to Parliament that Statistics Canada is increasingly using its statutory powers to obtain detailed data about Canadians from their mobile phone companies, utility providers and credit bureaus.
“Federal Conservative Party leader Andrew Scheer said Tuesday there are “legitimate privacy concerns”
“It caught many, many Canadians by surprise,” Scheer said while speaking at the Toronto Real Estate Board’s annual meeting. “We have a government entity that is not just going to get a snapshots of the population, but specific transactional data about where you’ve been spending your money, what you’ve been putting on your credit card. I believe that is unacceptable.”
“It just never occurred to me that [Statistics Canada] would go directly to our banks and seek our sensitive financial data without at the very least any notification to me let alone getting my consent,” said Ann Cavoukian, a former Ontario privacy commissioner, in an interview Monday. “So that lack of Transparency, I think, is very problematic.”
The Canadian Bankers’ Association, which represents the country’s largest financial institutions, has indicated that it has concerns about the project and expected more discussion before Statistics Canada proceeded with the project.
On its Twitter account Tuesday, one of Canada’s largest banks, The Royal Bank of Canada, tried to assure a customer nervous about the project by saying, “we’ll only use [collected data] for the purposes listed in our client agreements. Before using info for a purpose not listed, we first obtain consent. No customer transaction data or other personal info has been transferred to Stats Canada.”
