Both, farmers like it but it has always been problematic to make. Farmers always are looking to make a buck, like most small business owners. But the places they make it mess with the water table. Anyone looking to survive in farming will take $$ where they can get it, but the smaller farmers who actually live where farm are more cautious about the long term consequences of their actions.

“I don’t understand the FBI’s behavior. Why would search warrants be sealed at this point in time? The project is over,” Cluck told Fox News on Tuesday.
“I have no idea what motivation the FBI would have for hiding gold if in fact it was there,” he added. “There is no logical explanation except their behavior is suspicious.”
The treasure hunters and Getler said they had an agreement with the FBI to watch the excavation. Officers instead confined them to their car — out of sight of the wooded hillside where a backhoe was digging — for six hours that first day before they were finally allowed up the hill. The digging proceeded for another hour before an agent called an abrupt halt at 3 p.m., saying the team was cold, tired and hungry and it would be getting dark soon. They were just 3 feet from the target.
In May, Cluck filed a Freedom of Information Act request for documents on the FBI's investigation into the legendary gold. The agency demurred, claiming it had no files it could share. Cluck appealed to Republican U.S. Sen. Pat Toomey for help, and, a few weeks ago, the Justice Department ordered the FBI to do a more thorough review. If the bureau determines there are documents it can turn over after all, it could still take months or years to reach that point.

It was Wednesday, July 18, and Gomes was addressing a team of Google employees who were working on a secretive project to develop a censored search engine for China, which would blacklist phrases like “human rights,” “student protest,” and “Nobel Prize.”
“You have taken on something extremely important to the company,” Gomes declared, according to a transcript of his comments obtained by The Intercept. “I have to admit it has been a difficult journey. But I do think a very important and worthwhile one. And I wish ourselves the best of luck in actually reaching our destination as soon as possible.”
Gomes joked about the unpredictability of President Donald Trump and groaned about the ongoing trade war between the U.S. and China, which has slowed down Google’s negotiations with Communist Party officials in Beijing, whose approval Google requires to launch the censored search engine.
Gomes, who joined Google in 1999 and is one of the key engineers behind the company’s search engine, said he hoped the censored Chinese version of the platform could be launched within six and nine months, but it could be sooner. “This is a world none of us have ever lived in before,” he said. “So I feel like we shouldn’t put too much definite into the timeline.”
It has been two months since The Intercept first revealed details about the censored search engine, code-named Dragonfly. Since then, the project has faced a wave of criticism from human rights groups, Google employees, U.S. senators, and even Vice President Mike Pence, who on Thursday last week called on Google to “immediately end development of the Dragonfly app that will strengthen the Communist Party’s censorship and compromise the privacy of Chinese customers.”
Google has refused to answer questions or concerns about Dragonfly. On Sept. 26, a Google executive faced public questions on the censorship plan for the first time. Keith Enright told the Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee that there “is a Project Dragonfly,” but said “we are not close to launching a product in China.” When pressed to give specific details, Enright refused, saying that he was “not clear on the contours of what is in scope or out of scope for that project.”
Senior executives at Google directly involved in building the censorship system have largely avoided any public scrutiny. But on Sept. 23, Gomes briefly addressed Dragonfly when confronted by a BBC reporter at an event celebrating Google’s 20th anniversary.
“Right now, all we’ve done is some exploration,” Gomes told the reporter, “but since we don’t have any plans to launch something, there’s nothing much I can say about it.”
Gomes’ statement kept with the company’s official line. But it flatly contradicted what he had privately told Google employees who were working on Dragonfly — which disturbed some of them. One Google source told The Intercept Gomes’s comments to the BBC were “bullshit.”

'How would Trump accomplish that? By lifting restrictions on ethanol so it can be sold all the way through the summer at every pump available, and causing everyone's lawn mower to blow up. Small engines do not have radiators, all their heat is expelled straight through the engine body and ethanol will overwhelm them and melt them down, as well as eat the carburetors in many of them. 2 cycle engines will really bite the dust.
Trump may have cut the grass when he was a kid, before all this ethanol crap was out there, but he certainly has never done it in the last 40 years and he's probably clueless on the topic. Additionally, the only way ethanol can be cheaper than normal gas is to subsidize it, and he should be cutting the subsidies out. All he's going to do is cause people to profiteer by collecting the subsidy, burning up lawn mowers they won't care about, and they will also ship that crap to Mexico at America's expense.

My initial reaction to Q's ethanol post was outrage. Then I realize that what I really object to is govt interference in the market and subsidies. As long as no one is being mandated to use E-15, then it will be used if it makes sense and won't be if it doesn't. I can live with that even though I think it's insane to burn food.
So, if POTUS is simply rolling back an EPA reg that's in the way of letting the market do its job, then I'm on-board . . . although, long term, we should also be doing away with most, if not all farm subsidies.

Gasoline won't mix with water, and anything with steel in the fuel lines, tank, filter, or carburetor/injector parts rusts when ethanol allows water/humidity to blend into the fuel. It has ruined countless small engines in addition to the damage to cars.

The numerous allegations of sexual harassment levied against him mean President Trump is a reprehensible monster, according to Hillary Clinton, but when it comes to similar claims made about her husband, former President Bill Clinton, it's a different story.
That's what Hillary Clinton told CNN’s Christiane Amanpour during an interview Tuesday when Amanpour prodded her about the allegations facing her husband and how she squares supporting him with her criticisms of men like Trump and Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
The difference-maker, according to Clinton, is the fact that the allegations facing her husband were thoroughly investigated by a federal prosecutor.
Of course, her response completely glosses over the fact that not only were the claims against Kavanaugh investigated by the FBI during last week's follow-up background check probe - but Kavanaugh has faced numerous background check investigations over the years before taking jobs in the White House and then, more recently, as a federal judge.
"Well, there’s a very significant difference and that is the intense, long-lasting, partisan investigation that was conducted in the 90s," Clinton said. "If the Republicans, starting with President Trump on down want a comparison, they should welcome such an investigation themselves."
But that's not entirely true. While Clinton's sexual misconduct involving Monica Lewinsky and Paula Jones was investigated back in the 1990s, Juanita Broaddrick's claim that Clinton raped her back when he was serving as attorney general of Arkansas has never been closely examined.
Still, Clinton insisted that her husband's ability to "survive" these allegations through multiple political races is a testament to how Democrats must be "tough" in the face of Republican opposition.
"Bill had to be incredibly strong, first to be elected, then to be reelected, and to survive," Clinton told CNN. "He really believes Democrats have to be tougher and have to stand up to the bullying and intimidation."
And Democrats need to be do a better job of combating Republicans - even if it means destroying the life of an innocent man - because there's no point being "civil" with a political party that "wants to destroy everything that you stand for," Clinton said.
"You cannot be civil with a political party that wants to destroy what you stand for, what you care about. That’s why I believe if we are fortunate enough to win back the House and/or the Senate, that’s when civility can start again. But until then, the only thing that the Republicans seem to recognize and respect is strength."

The problem with gasoline is the amount of additives in it. To get gasoline that is good for the engine all that crap needs to be removed. Those additives were put there to stop things like the Pogue Carburettor from working, or allowing the fuel to be vaporized like in Tom Ogle's car.
A cheap and simple way to make gasoline really effective and more fuel efficient is to use carbon activated charcoal to remove all the shit in gasoline and to preheat the fuel and only run the engine on the vapors. It is not the gasoline liquid that makes engines work but the vapors of the gasoline - that is why the more efficient the engine , the tinier the droplets of fuel being injected into the engine. Additives stopped the vaporization process. Try it and you will find out it is true. There are youtube videos even of how to distill gasoline and remove all the shit from it.

Powell has been closely linked to the Clintons, especially through her time at Goldman Sachs, where she returned to work after departing the White House last year.
Below, in no particular order, are seven significant ties between Powell and the Clintons:
1 – When she served as president of the Goldman Sachs Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Wall Street giant, Powell repeatedly partnered with the Clinton Global Initiative for a globalist women’s project that served as the centerpiece of Goldman’s foundation.
Powell served as president of the Goldman Sachs Foundation, where she ran the foundation’s projects after Goldman Sachs was implicated in the 2007-2008 financial crisis and sought to resurrect its shattered image.
The Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) was founded by Bill Clinton in 2005 as a part of the controversial Clinton Foundation. CGI was co-founded by Doug Band, co-founder and president of Teneo Holdings. Powell’s now ex-husband, Richard C. Powell, is president of Teneo Strategy, an arm of Band’s Teneo Holdings.
Powell, an Egyptian-American, reportedly received a salary of $2 million per year from Goldman Sachs. Her financial disclosure form from last year revealed salary, benefits, cash bonuses and equity from Goldman Sachs totaling $6,128,950.
As head of the Goldman Sachs Foundation, she specifically oversaw two major charitable initiatives, one called 10,000 Women and another named 10,000 Small Businesses. 10,000 Women aims to provide at least that number of women around the world with a business and management education to further economic opportunities and global financial growth. 10,000 Businesses, according to Powell’s Goldman bio, “provides small business owners in the US and UK with business education and access to capital.”
The projects were widely viewed as Goldman’s efforts to resurrect its tarnished image after the firm was accused of unsound practices that allegedly helped precipitate the financial crisis. “Engaging wasn’t just the right thing, it was necessary, especially in the wake of the financial crisis when people said we weren’t doing enough,” John F.W. Rogers, Goldman Sachs’ chief of staff, told the New York Times of the company’s charitable efforts.
Goldman would later agree to pay a $5 billion settlement to the Justice Department for its alleged role in the financial crisis. “This resolution holds Goldman Sachs accountable for its serious misconduct in falsely assuring investors that securities it sold were backed by sound mortgages, when it knew that they were full of mortgages that were likely to fail,” acting associate attorney general Stuart Delery announced in a statement when the settlement was finalized.
In September 2013, Powell’s 10,000 Women was a main sponsoring partner of that year’s Clinton Global Initiative conference, hosting numerous events including a panel moderated by Chelsea Clinton. Goldman reportedly paid the Clinton Global Initiative $375,000 for the hosting rights.
In 2014 again, 10,000 Women hosted the Clinton Global Initiative annual event. Hillary Clinton spoke at the CGI event and singled out 10,000 Women for its work. “Thanks to Goldman Sachs and thanks to 10,000 Women for really shining a bright spotlight on what is possible if you believe in and you provide support to women,” Clinton said.

Was Clinton in the kitchen baking cookies like Tammy Wynette when it was revealed that Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein had Ford’s letter for well over a month prior to its 11th-hour leak to the media, which smelled badly of an attempt to either delay or derail Kavanaugh’s confirmation?
Was Clinton binge-watching her 2016 campaign speeches when Kavanaugh was questioned in front of the planet about beer, flatulence, and high school yearbook entries? Who again was doing the demeaning?
And while she was lamenting the so-called attacks endured by Ford, did Clinton plum forget that multiple women not only accused her husband of sexual assault but also that she famously brushed off such allegations as “bimbo eruptions”? Believe all women, eh?

Agreed. Even farmers have older trucks, lawn mowers, small engines that run pumps, etc. Farmers run lots of equipment until it just literally wears out. This kind of mandate only helps the extremely large farmers who play the extreme debt game and constantly trade equipment and vehicles, run themselves bankrupt and then do it all over again. It hurts the ones who are trying to be frugal and make the most of what they've got in the most honest, forthright way. We drive to the next town over to get ethanol free gas for our small engines. And guess what, we are row crop farmers. However, I can say for sure, some farmers are for it. Some are against it. I'd expect the Iowa crowd tonight to like it, based on past experience with various agricultural stories that come out of that state. Lots of "progressive" ideas pushed there. Yes coconut oil is great for ingesting in terms of health, only you can't really fry or saute with it because it smokes/burns at a low temperature, even lower than olive oil.
So we are getting our most of our coconut oil quotient from rubbing it on soles of feet etc.
Very pleasant and frankly I don't see any reason to return to things I used to use.
