In the past, he has happily exploited the Omar case to accuse the Trump administration of targeting her for "political intimidation." This ignores the fact that the original investigation of the congresswoman began under Joe Biden’s presidency.

Are Omar and her ex-husband genetically proven siblings? Is Omar the person she purports to be? She is identified as someone else with a different surname in recent court filings by the U.S. attorney in Washington.

Platforming Hasan Piker at a campaign event tells you everything you need to know about extremist Democrats who have infected the party like a modern plague.

Sponsoring his appearance implicitly condones his loathsome opinions. Judging him by his ugly rhetoric, this is a guy who is virulently antisemitic and a purveyor of hate.

Yet, there was Ilhan Omar. She appeared all too happy to sit alongside him. Does she share the incendiary and bigoted views that Piker routinely spews? She did not disagree with him when he condemned Republicans as un-American "terrorists."

Nor has Omar ever denounced Piker’s other grotesque statements. He said that America deserved 9/11 but later apologized for the word "deserved" amid a severe backlash. But he has never retracted — and apparently does not regret — the dehumanizing insults that he has hurled at Jews and Israel. They are too disgusting to repeat here.

Other prominent Minnesota Democrats have castigated Piker. But not Omar. Sen. Amy Klobuchar, who is running for governor, characterized his sickening statements as "reckless and unacceptable." Rep. Angie Craig called Piker’s demagoguery "polarizing and dangerous."

Piker deserves to be ostracized, not embraced.

Since Ilhan Omar has made little effort to distance herself from his beliefs, one can reasonably conclude that she countenances them. She reveals her true self, relishing his disdain for all things American.

Perhaps it is true that a person is known by the company they keep.

How exactly did the congresswoman and her current husband, political consultant Tim Mynett, go from almost no assets to as much as $30 million in a single year?

When the information on her congressional disclosure became public and alarming questions arose, Omar revised the figures to reflect what could be a negative net worth. That’s quite the financial whiplash. She blamed it on an accounting mistake. Just a goof. But tens of millions of dollars is hardly a simple rounding error. In the annals of financial slip-ups, it’s a whopper. If you or I did that, government auditors would be knocking at the door.

Omar continually dismisses the controversy as nothing more than politically motivated attacks. But that dubious deflection conveniently ignores that it was the Biden administration that initiated the investigation.

Of course, Omar enjoys the presumption of innocence should any charges arise. But there are unsettling aspects to the story she tells.

In a recent television interview on MS NOW, she was asked if she married her brother. Her reply was jaw-dropping, albeit revealing. "Not to my knowledge," she said.

Wait, she didn’t say "no" or "absolutely not?"

Think for a moment about her response. It is not an unqualified denial, but a bewildering equivocation that could mean, "If he is my brother, I don’t really know it." It’s called the ignorance defense. It creates the prospect that she may, indeed, have unknowingly married her brother.

It appears that Omar was coached by a lawyer to avoid a direct false statement by waffling instead. But that will not protect her if it can be shown that she did have knowledge. It places her in legal jeopardy, as noted above.

Persistent rumors about a sham marriage for immigration benefits also connect to questions about the congresswoman’s identity. Fox News reported that Ilhan Omar is not her real name, according to two people familiar with the ongoing investigation, including a law enforcement source.

Her real name is identified in a new court filing by the U.S. attorney in D.C. It refers to her as "Congresswoman Ilhan Nur Said Elmi, a/k/a Ilhan Abdullahi Omar." This indicates that the government believes that "Omar" has been living her life under an alias and that her real birth name has the same surname as her alleged brother-husband.

Perhaps there’s an explanation. Maybe Omar adopted the surname of her former husband, Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, when she married him in 2009. That seems reasonable except that Omar’s late father also went by the name Nur Said Elmi, according to an examination of documents by the New York Post.

Establishing Omar’s true identity and whether she might have once married her brother probably explains why investigators were so interested in obtaining DNA. Genetic science is the closest thing we have to absolute certainty. It’s the ultimate eyewitness. It doesn’t lie.

There is a popular biological proverb that seems felicitous in the Ilhan Omar case: "You can hide your past, you can alter your name, but your DNA will always whisper the truth of who you are."

The plot thickens when Clinton’s smear is discovered by CIA Director John Brennan, who rushed to the White House to alert then-President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, FBI Director James Comey and others. Handwritten notes from the participants at two successive meetings confirm what happened.

There was nothing remotely objective, neutral or fair about the FBI’s probe. It was a rigged witch hunt. In one "smoking gun" communication, Strzok assured Page that the investigation itself and its incendiary impact would serve as an "insurance policy" to bring down Trump. Strzok seemed to view himself as the noble savior of the Republic.

"Trick or Treat" rounds out the third episode as Trump’s enemies race the countdown clock to Election Day, seeking a secret, albeit legally flawed, warrant to spy. They also pursued a screwball allegation that Trump communicated with Moscow through a hidden computer server in the basement of his eponymous tower in Manhattan.

Like so many of the other deceitful accusations, it was conjured up from the rich imagination of Clinton sycophants determined to do anything to stop Trump. Data and documents were misrepresented to suggest wrongdoing where none actually existed.

Along the way, the CIA, FBI and other intel agencies followed orders from the outgoing president to significantly alter key intelligence before Inauguration Day in a diabolical effort to implicate his successor as a Russian stooge.

Vince Edgar Chavez was arrested in Oregon City, Ore. on Wednesday, Oct. 28, in connection with the alleged abduction of a 10-year-old earlier that day from nearby Canby, Ore., the U.S. Marshals said in a statement.

At a press conference streamed online by KPTV, police alleged Chavez entered the home of the children around 1:40 a.m. on Wednesday and hit the 12-year-old before taking the 10-year-old.

A police source said the suspect hit the 12-year-old with a hammer, The Oregonian reported. She was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Police tracked Chavez to a home in Oregon City where they allegedly found the child “tied up in a closet,” USMS said in its statement. She was duct-taped and inside a duffel bag, according to the source who spoke with The Oregonian.

Grassley's question, however, was broader than whether Smith personally met Brennan, and the newly declassified records show prosecutors working directly under Smith met with the former CIA director as they prepared the government's case against Trump.

"This meeting occurred during Jack Smith’s time as Special Counsel and constitutes ‘consultation or counsel’ from John Brennan to Smith and his team," Grassley told Fox News Digital. "Smith’s response before the Senate Judiciary Committee was highly evasive and misleading, at minimum."

During the hearing, Grassley later returned to the issue, asking Smith whether he had ever had a conversation with Brennan.

"I have no recollection of having a conversation with John Brennan," Smith responded.

In addition to the memo outlining the 2023 Brennan meeting, the declassified release also included two pages of notes bearing CIA headquarters headers where lines of text beneath Brennan's name are blacked out by government redactions, leaving the remainder of the ruled pages blank.

Brennan was not serving as CIA director during the period covered by Smith's classified-documents case, and the released records do not indicate he had firsthand knowledge of Trump's alleged handling of the documents.

Grassley, as well as other GOP lawmakers and critics, have accused the former special counsel of investigative overreach and political bias, including pointing to records showing his Arctic Frost investigation obtained financial information involving thousands of Trump donors and phone records of Republican lawmakers, among other investigative steps. Grassley has separately raised questions about the origins and conduct of Smith's classified-documents prosecution.

Smith, meanwhile, has rejected allegations that his investigations were politically motivated and has maintained that his decisions were driven by the evidence and defending the work of prosecutors and investigators on his team.
