Flávio Bolsonaro has fled Brazil for the United States, which has confirmed it will grant him and his family entry visas.

It comes a day after Mr Bolsonaro vowed to remain in the South American nation to lead the political opposition against Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, known as Lula.

But over a three-day period, the senator's exact whereabouts and exit path out of Brazil have become shrouded in mystery.

The idea of Senator Bolsonaro fleeing Brazil if he lost the presidential election was first raised by his brother, Eduardo, on a podcast. Eduardo suggested his brother was fearful of political persecution in Brazil amid ongoing corruption and money laundering investigations.

7pm, local Brazilian time, Sunday, October 25 (8am Monday AEST):

Polls closed across Brazil after a two-hour voting extension was granted by Supreme Court Justice Cristiano Zanin, following a request from President Lula's campaign.

Senator Bolsonaro missed the court deadline to turn in his passports — which were then cancelled — to federal police, according to police sources who spoke with Reuters. Local media and the AFP news agency reported the senator had not been seen at his residence in Brasilia throughout the morning.

1:45pm, Tuesday, October 27:

The leadership of President Lula's Workers' Party in Brazil's lower house confirmed a preventative detention order has been filed and a request made for an INTERPOL red notice arrest alert to be issued worldwide for Senator Bolsonaro.

2:15pm, Tuesday, October 27:

While Argentine officials denied Senator Bolsonaro entered the country from Brazil, local media reported a pilot confirmed a private jet was flown from Buenos Aires to the border town of Puerto Iguazú. The pilot said he believed the jet was to pick up four passengers, including the senator. No confirmation was made that the aircraft then departed Argentina.

2:30pm, Tuesday, October 27:

Mauricio Marcon, the deputy leader of Senator Bolsonaro's Liberal Party, also said he believed Senator Bolsonaro had fled "into exile" in the US.

6:15pm, Tuesday, October 27:

Re-elected President Lula described Senator Bolsonaro's departure as "shameful" during his 81st birthday celebration in Brasilia. He said the senator treated Brazil as his "second country", behind "licking American boots".

The US will issue Flávio Bolsonaro and his family visas to enter the country following his election defeat, a senior official says.

A senior official with the US State Department confirmed to the ABC that it would "issue visas to Flavio Bolsonaro and his family and allow them entry into the United States".

Media outlets including CNN, The Washington Post and the BBC independently reported Senator Bolsonaro had landed in the US, quoting unnamed sources. The BBC reported he arrived in Florida, where he met his brother Eduardo.

There remains no official confirmation of Senator Bolsonaro's arrival in the US, his location or the path he took to flee Brazil. Local authorities continue to say there is no record of him crossing the border from Brazil into Argentina, and The Washington Post has also reported an anonymous Brazilian foreign ministry claim he may have passed through Venezuela.

Lula's reelection was confirmed with 51.79% of the vote to Bolsonaro's 48.21% — a margin of roughly 4.43 million votes — the trigger for everything that followed; the 11 a.m. Tuesday deadline to surrender his passports passed without compliance, and Bolsonaro has since arrived in the United States.

While publicly vowing on camera to hand over his passports and stay in Brazil, Flávio Bolsonaro had already been quietly weighing an exit plan — one discussed with a tight, undisclosed group of allies that most of his own campaign staff knew nothing about until it was done.

A wing of his closest allies was actively urging him to depart immediately for the United States — the only country with the political will, via the Trump administration, to receive him without conditions. The recommendation was made in the direct context of his election defeat and mounting judicial exposure. Bolsonaro, according to those who spoke with him that day, still wasn't giving a definitive answer.

Tuesday Morning: Silence Where There Shouldn't Have Been Any

By early Tuesday, something was wrong — or deliberately quiet. Guards posted outside Flávio's Brasília residence since 7 a.m. reported no movement inside the property. Campaign staff who tried to reach the senator got nothing. Political allies across his party fielded calls asking for his whereabouts and had no answers to give.

During the morning, people who had been with Bolsonaro on Monday were still flatly denying any possibility of departure. One campaign team member told Jovem Pan that leaving the country had never been raised as an option. Yet the news — first broken by journalist Monica Bergamo of Folha de S.Paulo and confirmed by Jovem Pan through sources in the Federal Police and inside the Bolsonaro family circle — was already spreading: Flávio had left Brazil. Jovem Pan reported that only members of his innermost core, the so-called núcleo duro, had any advance knowledge of the movement; a large part of his allies were caught entirely by surprise.

Senior figures within the PL began pressing for Bolsonaro to release at least a video or statement explaining where he was, warning internally that his unexplained absence was making a political crisis worse. Rogério Marinho, Bolsonaro's general campaign coordinator, said he would only address the departure publicly after Flávio himself chose to speak. The expected meeting with his lawyers to process the passport handover never took place.

At 11 a.m., the court deadline expired with no passports delivered. Shortly after, Federal Police officially cancelled his documents.

The Argentine Question Nobody Could Answer

Argentine outlet Infobae reported that Bolsonaro had crossed into Puerto Iguazú using only his national ID card and boarded a Gulfstream G400 — registration LV-JQW, operated by Baires Fly S.A. — carrying four passengers and three crew, with a 2 a.m. departure set for Miami. Argentina's government responded on multiple fronts: the national migration directorate said no entry record existed; presidential spokesman Fabián Fernández denied any matching records; and a second spokesman, Adrián Ravier, confirmed Bolsonaro had not requested political asylum. A senior Brazilian Federal Police official confirmed he had not passed through any official migration checkpoint when leaving Brazilian territory.

Jovem Pan confirmed Bolsonaro was aboard a plane to the United States — but declined to assert that the aircraft described by Argentine press was the one he used, as the route remained unverified.

Washington's Door Was Already Open

The U.S. State Department told CNN it would issue visas to Bolsonaro and his family and allow them into the country. One source close to the family went further, telling Reuters that the Trump administration had extended asylum to Bolsonaro's immediate circle. Neither the U.S. Embassy in Brasília nor Bolsonaro's attorney confirmed that arrangement publicly.

As of Tuesday evening, Bolsonaro had not responded to any of Jovem Pan's contact attempts — nor had he issued any public statement explaining his departure to the country he had pledged, just 24 hours earlier, not to leave.

Let me break down the Flavio Bolsonaro situation and why he is in the United States just hours after the election…

First, they imprisoned his father. They sentenced Jair Bolsonaro to 27 years and placed him under house arrest after he challenged the 2022 results and was accused of plotting to overturn the election.

In this recent election, Bolsonaro was ahead. Lula and his thugs, including his former corruption lawyer, who now sits on Brazil’s Supreme Court, requested a two-hour extension that miraculously produced enough votes for Lula to win. That extension added only about 35,000 votes, roughly 0.03 percent of the total, which is nowhere near enough to explain Lula’s final margin of roughly 4.4 million votes.

Bolsonaro immediately challenged the election because anyone who is not a communist and has a brain could see that the election was stolen from him if they actually paid attention to what was happening. President Trump called the outcome a rigged election and said it looked very bad.

Hours later, they accused him of trying to overturn the election, EXACTLY as they did to his father, and accused him of inciting “violence” in the streets. Then they prohibited him from leaving the country, even though he had committed no crime, and canceled his passport to make sure he could not leave.

Fortunately, Bolsonaro had been working with the United States. They extracted him in an undisclosed operation before the authorities could throw him in prison just like his father.

Meanwhile, while ALL of this is unfolding, Lula’s little tranny lover, Erika Hilton, who is a “Congresswoman,” is publicly calling for the Brazilian government to seize Bolsonaro’s and his wife’s assets and freeze ALL their bank accounts.

DOES THAT SOUND NORMAL TO YOU? A man challenges an election, and suddenly the Brazilian government is coming after him for doing exactly that.

THIS IS COMMUNISM.

So while you see Democrats across our country congratulating Lula on his victory, including Alex Soros, the biggest demon of them all, understand exactly what you are looking at. These are the people cheering on a government that is targeting its political opposition. McLaughlin: Strong Majority Backs Trump in Stopping Iran's Nuclear Ambitions

A newly completed national survey of likely voters shows strong support for President Donald Trump’s decision to use military force to stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons.

Even more striking, when voters are reminded of Iran's long record of hostility toward the United States, support grows significantly – with 57% backing military action.

A clear majority believes decisive action is justified — and an even stronger majority of 59% said President Trump should finish the job to ensure Iran never acquires nuclear weapons.

The findings also reveal a significant gap between the views of the American electorate and the tone of much of the left-of-center media coverage, which has largely portrayed the public as skeptical or opposed to military action.

Our data suggests otherwise.

Our latest national survey of 1,000 likely voters was conducted between March 2 and March 9 and carries a margin of error of +/-3.1% at a 95% confidence interval.

When voters were asked whether they approved of President Trump using the U.S. military to eliminate Iran’s nuclear missile program and its support for terrorism — given Iran's refusal to negotiate an end to its nuclear weapons and missile development — 51% approved, while 41% disapproved.

Support was overwhelming among Republicans, with 86% approving of the action. But backing was not limited to the Republican base. 25% of Democrats also approved of military action, demonstrating that concern over Iran's nuclear ambitions crosses party lines.

Looking at voters by their 2024 presidential vote choice shows a similar pattern.

86% of Trump voters supported the action, but notably 18% of those who voted for Kamala Harris also expressed approval.

Media consumption habits also played a role in shaping attitudes.

Among voters who primarily watch right-of-center cable news, support for military action was overwhelming at 82% approval to just 12% disapproval.

In contrast, viewers of left-of-center cable news were far more skeptical, with 72% disapproving.

Among voters who do not watch cable news at all, 54% disapproved of the military action.

However, when voters are reminded of Iran's decades-long hostility toward the United States, support for action becomes even stronger.

In questions sponsored by the Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund, voters were first reminded that Iran has been a rogue nation for 47 years, responsible for killing Americans and taking Americans hostage, including the deaths of U.S. soldiers in Jordan in 2024.

After hearing that context, voters were asked whether they agreed with the statement:

"The United States military actions against Iran and the leadership of the Iranian regime were necessary and warranted to protect American lives today and in the future."

A clear majority — 57% of likely voters — agreed, while only 33% disagreed.

Support was particularly strong among voters planning to support Republican candidates for Congress, where agreement reached 87%, compared with just 7% who disagreed.
