Kay, I just saw a video that shows on a map Arsareth with 4th esdras chapter 13 on it. from the 1500's I think or I might be wrong. Around the 5 minute mark is where you should start. The channel is Godrules, video is from 5 days ago. He is talking about this as well. Arsareth is located north of Japan. When your reading Chapter 14 verse 40 "crossing the waters to another land" That is near where the Russian-Alaskan land bridge is. Thats it. Thats then crossing the waters to "America"

The US has sought to influence Brazilian politics for decades, including through the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), and has played a role in the country’s current presidential election, independent journalist and geopolitical analyst Pepe Escobar has told RT.

He was speaking after Sunday’s first round of voting, in which right-wing Senator Flavio Bolsonaro, son of former President Jair Bolsonaro, finished ahead of incumbent left-wing President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva. Both fell short of the 50% threshold needed to win outright. The two are set to face each other in a runoff on October 25.

Brazil’s government has previously accused Washington of interference in its internal affairs, while Trump has denounced the prosecution of the former president – who is serving 27 years for plotting a coup – as a “witch hunt.” Brazil’s Federal Police have since opened an investigation into alleged US interference in the election, following a request from the Attorney General’s Office over reported US funding of projects aimed at undermining the country’s Supreme Court.

“The Americans put a lot of money in this election,” Escobar said, calling for a federal investigation into possible foreign influence.

He singled out Brazil’s influential evangelical churches, claiming that the CIA had spent “decades” funding efforts to cultivate them and that this was now “paying off.”

Escobar’s remarks come as US involvement in Brazilian politics has already become a point of contention between Brasilia and Washington. Flavio Bolsonaro met US President Donald Trump at the White House in May, while his brother Eduardo has lived in the US since 2025. Eduardo was sentenced by Brazil’s Supreme Court in June to four years and two months in prison for coercion after the court found that he had sought US pressure on Brazilian authorities in an effort to interfere with proceedings against his father.

Escobar also claimed that two days before the vote, the CIA already knew Bolsonaro was ahead, even as Brazilian opinion polls showed Lula leading. He attributed Bolsonaro’s strong showing in part to the influence of evangelical voters, who now comprise some 27% of the country’s populations, a historical high from the 15% in 2000.

The runoff is widely seen as a highly polarized contest over Brazil’s political direction. Lula has sought to strengthen the country’s role in BRICS and deepen ties with China and other Global South powers, while Bolsonaro has advocated closer relations with Washington.

Lula previously served two terms as president from 2003 to 2010 before returning to office for a third term in 2023, following the annulment of corruption convictions that had prevented him from running in 2018.

A Bolsonaro victory could also have major implications for Brazil’s foreign policy, according to Escobar. He predicted a “complete reversal” toward closer alignment with Washington and the Trump administration.

Such a shift could diminish Brazil’s role in BRICS, Escobar argued, saying the country could become a “bystander” within the group. Brazil is a founding member of BRICS alongside Russia, India, and China.

The Socialist Party government of Spain has collapsed, and Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has called a snap election. Why has Sanchez’s leftist government collapsed, how did Spain get here, and what is likely to happen next?

Last week, Spain’s Congress of Deputies, the country’s equivalent of the United States House of Representatives, voted on two emergency housing policy decrees. The measures included extended protections against evictions, regulating temporary and room-by-room rentals, tenants’ rights, and measures to curb speculative pressures. The emergency decrees aimed to combat the country’s housing crisis, caused by rising costs and dwindling supply amid surging immigration.Both decrees were defeated in the Congress of Deputies after Junts, a center-left party that supports independence for Catalonia, in northeast Spain, voted with the opposition against the government. Junts is one of several parliamentary parties whose support Sánchez needed to pass legislation. Following the 2023 Spanish general election, Sanchez’s party, the left-wing Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party (PSOE), did not secure enough seats to govern alone. As a result, Sánchez struck deals with Junts, the far-left Sumar coalition, and several minor regional parties, allowing him to form a minority government. This allowed PSOE to enter government even though the People’s Party (PP), Spain’s establishment center-right party, won the largest number of seats at the last election.

The Many Failures and Scandals of the Sánchez Government.

The defeat of the Spanish government’s proposed emergency decrees follows a series of high-profile controversies and policy failures. The first major controversy revolved around PSOE’s decision to grant amnesty to Catalan activists prosecuted for organizing an unconstitutional secession referendum and declaring independence in 2017. The decision was one of the concessions offered in exchange for support in the Congress of Deputies, leading many Spaniards to view PSOE as surrendering to forces intent on breaking apart the Spanish state just to preserve its own power.Despite the deal between PSOE and smaller parties, Sánchez’s government has failed to pass a new national budget since the 2023 budget was approved in late 2022.The Sánchez government has also been hit by a series of corruption scandals, including allegations surrounding pandemic-era procurement. Koldo García, an adviser and close associate of former Transport Minister José Luis Ábalos, was investigated over alleged kickbacks linked to Covid-era contracts for masks and medical equipment.The investigation subsequently expanded to include senior PSOE figures, including Santos Cerdán, PSOE’s former organizational secretary and one of Sánchez’s closest allies and key parliamentary negotiators. Israeli forces killed at least 10 Palestinians in Gaza over the past three days, according to numbers from Gaza’s Health Ministry, as the IDF continues its constant violations of the US-backed ceasefire deal.

In that same time, at least five Palestinians died of wounds sustained by previous Israeli attacks, and one body was recovered from the rubble, bringing the number of fatalities added to the death toll over three days to 16.

Among those killed in recent days were Maysa Abu Daoud and her daughter Mary al-Najjar, two Christian women, who died when an Israeli airstrike hit an apartment in Gaza City early Saturday morning. A funeral was held for them at the St. Porphyrius Orthodox Church in Gaza City, one of the two churches in the area where Gaza’s tiny Christian community is based.

An atom interferometer allows for the manipulation of atoms in a vacuum, crucial for precision measurements.

The objective was to develop a vacuum chamber that would use laser-cooled rubidium atoms, known for their unique optical resonances. These atoms are critical for atom interferometry and creating a controlled vacuum environment is essential.

The initial plan was to create an entire atom source, producing and cooling the atoms, and launching them into an experiment chamber. Eventually the project was streamlined to focus on developing the 3D magneto-optical trap (3D MOT), the initial stage for cooling and launching atoms.. Such vacuum chambers already exist in laboratories around the world but none were developed specifically to work in the space environment. RAL Space set up a facility that combined both space and quantum engineering expertise to address this challenge.

Leone elaborated on the significance of the project: "What makes this activity unique is its focus on the 'physics package,' which is the heart of the atom interferometry experiment.

This package needs to function seamlessly in the harsh space environment, including the vacuum of space and resistance to radiation. It has never been done before for space missions."

The potential applications of this technology are immense. A future gravity mission could benefit from this breakthrough as it would significantly enhance the precision and longevity of the mission.

By achieving drift-free measurements, this technology would eliminate the need for continuous recalibration in space, ensuring accurate results.

"So in quantum sensing we've been developing a lot of technology, mainly in lasers, because you need a lot of lasers to manipulate atoms,” Leone continues.

“For one of these activities in particular we’re looking at high-stability laser electronics, the electronics driving the lasers, which are unique in the sense that it's the first one at ESA that's been developing electronics specifically for space to drive those lasers and this one is the only one that's really looking at what we call the physics package for the actual physical implementation where the atom interferometry experiment is going to take place.

The second activity centred around the development of a High Stability Laser. Given that lasers play a pivotal role in cooling atoms and enabling various quantum manipulations, stability and precision are of the utmost importance.

The challenge was to create a laser system capable of autonomously finding and locking onto the correct frequency while operating in the harsh conditions of space.

Developing lasers for quantum technologies—such as a laser-cooled atom interferometry—will make it possible to conduct ever more precise measurements.

In particular, measurements related to the Earth's gravity field and fundamental physics. This heightened accuracy can lead to more exact geophysical measurements, which can benefit fields like geology, seismology and resource exploration.

At the same time, developing these lasers can improve the stability and precision of various measurement tools, contributing to advancements in fields like manufacturing, materials science and telecommunications.

The third activity involved the creation of an alignment system, with a specific focus on Quantum Key Distribution (QKD).

QKD technologies will help to develop more secure communications, which in turn can be implemented to improve terrestrial data security.

QKD offers unbreakable encryption, protecting sensitive information for fields such as finance, healthcare and government communications. The technology could help safeguard data against cyber threats and security breaches.

Optical links from satellites are a promising option for sharing quantum encryption keys for the purpose of secure quantum communication.​

Demonstrating these links from small satellites is important because of the fast development lifecycle of quantum sources and the potential for networks of quantum key generating satellites.

Optical beams used in QKD require precise pointing, to send the data back to Earth but the pointing required for these optical links is much more precise than current attitude control systems are able to achieve. ​

An active alignment system, based on steering from a fine steering mirror could be used to enable quantum communication links from small satellites.​

The third activity successfully designed and assembled an alignment system using both commercially available, off-the-shelf and custom components.

A closed-loop control algorithm was implemented to reach the precision needed and to quickly recognise and account for disturbances.

Altogether the three activities covered three very different, albeit related, areas of quantum technologies, showcasing the expertise RAL Space can provide to support ESA quantum technologies ambitions.

The Path Forward: A Quantum Strategy for the Future

The UK Space Agency and ESA have been at the forefront of integrating quantum technologies into space missions, but this journey is just beginning for both space agencies.

As the possibilities of quantum technologies in space expand it's clear that collaboration, vision and strategic planning will be key to redefining our understanding of gravity, enhancing secure communication and opening new horizons in space exploration.

While these three activities have yielded remarkable progress in quantum technologies for space, the future remains uncertain.

Leone emphasizes that presently, there is no cohesive plan to harness the UK quantum expertise and know how within the ESA and wider space context opening a space for a quantum technologies strategy between both.

Quantum technology, a burgeoning field, offers vast potential for innovation and advancement. The three activities that were borne out of the collaboration between GSTP and RAL Space are a testament to the potential of quantum technologies in space.

These innovations hold the key to revolutionising our understanding of gravity, precision measurements and secure communication in the cosmos.

One of the big lessons that the United States took from World War II was the need for national transportation infrastructure back at home. A system of interconnected highways, bridges, and roads was critical for national defense and would also provide much needed economic prosperity following the war. In 1956, the government began to build the National System of Interstate and Defense Highways, an infrastructure project larger than anything the country had seen since the railroads a century earlier—and paid for entirely with taxpayer money.

The buildout of America’s modern transportation system transformed the U.S. economy and way of life, creating countless new businesses and jobs, and connecting communities in ways that reshaped how Americans lived and worked. Seventy years later, we’re in the midst of the largest infrastructure buildout since the highways—our digital infrastructure. The rapid adoption of the Internet starting in the late 1990s, and then cloud computing in the mid-2000s, changed the way we interact with information and services, and substantially lowered barriers for entrepreneurs, companies, and governments to provide new customer experiences. Today, virtually everything we do each day—shopping, banking, stock trading, ride hailing, booking travel, receiving healthcare, streaming entertainment, as well as critical research in everything from preventing and curing disease to finding ways to use less energy and natural resources—is digitally driven and enabled by data centers, which manage the computing, storage, and access necessary for these activities. In the last few years, there’s been a rapid acceleration of data center construction across the country with the advent of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

It’s still very early, yet AI is already transforming businesses, industries, and customer experiences in ways we couldn’t have imagined just a few years ago. AI will power the next generation of businesses, hospitals, schools, and other critical public services, as well as critical defense systems, intelligence analysis, cyber defense, and satellite operations—and new kinds of skilled jobs will be created to help make it all possible. Just like the national highway system, our country’s economy, national security, and everyday lives stand to benefit immensely. And, unlike the railroads and highways, this buildout is being financed without taxpayer money because private industry is picking up the tab.

There is urgency to this data center buildout because we aren’t the only country that sees the benefits of AI for the economy and national security, and the countries that lead in AI will shape it and get the most from it in the short and long run. The choices we make today will determine that outcome, and a lapse in our nation’s focus or resolve could put us behind, and potentially irreparably so.

With any change, there will be important questions raised, but there will also be misinformation and outright lies, and in the age of social media and 24/7 news, myths take hold faster than ever before. In fact, this build out is so important geopolitically that there are widespread reports of various countries intentionally seeding misinformation in the U.S. about data centers to trick us into slowing down. Right now there are over 100 data center moratoriums being considered across the country. If these measures are enacted, the U.S. could be writing its own losing ticket to this race, and the consequences would last generations. As a country, we can’t afford to find ourselves in that position.

There are clearly areas in which the technology and energy industries can be doing better (along with their government partners) but just like in the past when the country has banded together to accomplish something that’s critical for our national security and economic prosperity—we should approach this as a long-term mission that the private and public sectors pursue together.

Let’s start with some of the myths floating around, and then I’ll share a new commitment to build responsibly, and a new set of programs to benefit our data center communities.
