Trump Border Czar Tom Homan recently appeared on CBS News and schooled a journalist who was using comments from Florida Republican Maria Salazar to push liberal talking points about ICE, illegal immigration and deportation.

Moments like this show beyond a reasonable doubt that Democrats and members of the media do not want illegal immigrants deported. Their words make it so clear.

The best part however, is seeing Homan calmly and rationally school this journalist with the plain facts.

As the Trump administration’s sweeping illegal immigration crackdown draws pushback from some Republican lawmakers, White House border czar Tom Homan told CBS News that critics should “talk to ICE” and “educate themselves.”

GOP Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar of Florida raised eyebrows last month when she taped a campaign ad warning President Trump the Hispanic voters who helped him secure a second term “feel betrayed.” She said some of the administration’s tactics have “gone too far,” pointing to data that shows many ICE detainees lack criminal records. Other Republicans have also raised concerns, including Sen. Jim Justice of West Virginia.

In response to Salazar’s comments, Homan said: “Give me an example of where we went too far. That’s a pretty bold statement to make.”

Homan said the Trump administration is still prioritizing people who it views as public safety threats, but anybody who is in the U.S. illegally is “deportable by federal law.”

“If you’re in the country illegally, you got a problem. You shouldn’t be here,” Homan said, later adding that “everybody we arrest has an opportunity to see a judge and plead their case.”

Supernumerary Rainbows over New Jersey

Yes, but can your rainbow do this? After the remnants of Hurricane Florence passed over the Jersey Shore, New Jersey, USA in 2018, the Sun came out in one direction but something quite unusual appeared in the opposite direction: a hall of rainbows. Over the course of the next half hour, to the delight of the photographer and his daughter, vibrant supernumerary rainbows faded in and out, with at least five captured in this featured single shot. Supernumerary rainbows only form when falling water droplets are all nearly the same size and typically less than a millimeter across. Then, sunlight will not only reflect from inside the raindrops, but interfere, a wave phenomenon similar to ripples on a pond when a stone is thrown in. In fact, supernumerary rainbows can only be explained with waves, and their noted existence in the early 1800s was considered early evidence of light's wave nature.

CNN’s Fareed Zakaria Admits Homeless Problems Are Worst in Democrat-Run Blue Cities (VIDEO)

CNN’s Fareed Zakaria appeared on the Bill Maher show this weekend and said something you don’t hear very often on his network.

Zakaria bemoaned the homeless problem in America and noted the absolute fact that the worst homeless problems are in blue cities run by Democrats.

He also pointed out that these cities often consider the rights and privileges of the homeless over the rest of the population, even though they are not the majority.

It’s always refreshing to hear someone on the left admit something like this.

Joe Messina has details:

Speaking on HBO’s “Real Time,” Zakaria said, “Let me say something that’s going to get me into trouble, which is, if you look at where you have the most acute homelessness problems, they are blue cities in blue states, to a large extent.”

He argued that the issue isn’t a lack of spending. “The right tends to be very stingy about the money that it would take to solve these problems. But that’s not New York City, that’s not L.A. We’re spending crazy amounts of money on it,” he said, adding that in his view there’s “this other side to it,” which he described as “overprivileging the rights of the homeless over the rights of the other 99.5%.”

Zakaria said the pattern isn’t uniform across the country. “Miami does not have the kind of homelessness problem that New York has. Houston doesn’t, Dallas doesn’t,” he said. He attributed part of the difference to housing construction. “Part of it is that those places are much better at building stuff. One of the problems in a place like New York or in California is we just can’t build housing, of any kind, right? Affordable, homeless, whatever it is, and people don’t want it.”

Sad to see that Fox & Friends (Sunday) is not covering our packed house and incredibly enthusiastic (beyond!) Rally that took place in Ohio last night, or the ones in Alabama, Texas, or Oklahoma over the past two days. These Election Rallies were representative of what is really happening with our great Republican Party. They were all sold out, with thousands of people trying to get in, and are absolutely phenomenal, better than ever! It’s the old undercurrent at FoxNews! Other networks are reporting about these Rallies, and really positively, like “crazy!” Our people want to see our Rallies, and reports on our Rallies, on FoxNews, or they will very quickly stop watching (like I am doing right now!). Fox spends more time talking to Communists, Socialists, and Dumocrats, often without rebuttal, and MAGA is not, to put it mildly, happy. We don’t like stupid Jessica Tarlov, and all of the others, that are forced down MAGA’S throats. These Rallies are the hottest things out there, tremendous love in those sold out arenas, and nothing shows up on Fox! Also, phenomenal ratings for those that properly report. Who makes these decisions at FoxNews? Probably the same loser that fired the great Maria Bartiromo because she complained about not being allowed to cover “TRUMP.” She’ll end up bigger and better than ever - watch! Cover our “happenings,” and not the opposition to Greatness for America, or FoxNews will soon have the ratings of FAKE NEWS CNN or MSNOW (MSDNC). Tennessee Republican Tim Burchett Planning to Try to Block the Seating of One DSA Member in Congress if She Wins

Tennessee Republican Congressman Tim Burchett is planning to try to block the seating of New York DSA member and congressional candidate Darializa Avila Chevalier if she wins, which, she probably will. This is New York, after all.

Burchett takes serious issue with some comments Chevalier made about using the American flag as a napkin.

Frankly, it’s a wonder how any of them will be sworn in. How are they going to swear an oath to protect the Constitution when their own platform shows that they want to destroy it?

The New York Post reports:

Rep. Burchett planning to block NYC socialist Chevalier from Congress after she claimed to use American flag as napkin

Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.) plans to try to block Democratic nominee and New York socialist Darializa Avila Chevalier from taking her seat in Congress if she wins the Nov. 3 election — over her saying she used the American flag as a napkin.

Burchett told The Post he intends to make the unusual parliamentary move when the new Congress convenes in January — using a simple majority to prevent newly elected lawmakers from being seated before they take the oath of office.

“You take an oath to uphold the Constitution, and and you’re pretty much disavowing it right there. I just think we’ve lost our compass,” he said in an interview.

He cited the Chevalier’s incendiary flag comment, which he called an affront to his own family’s militaryservice. His father was a World War II Marine, while his dad’s brother served on a Navy destroyer…

“If we vote to seat them, is one Democrat going to say no? I’m not going to vote to seat those people. Are they gonna say anything? Democrats died for this country as well as Republicans did.”

Burchett takes the honoring of the American flag very seriously, as he should.

Democrats will be outrageously outraged by this.

Good on Burchett.
