A Four Person NATO-Funded Team Advises Facebook On Flagging "Propaganda"

This is not at all comforting: during a week that's witnessed Alex Jones' social media accounts taken down by Facebook, Apple, Spotify and Google, and what appears to be a growing crackdown against alternative media figures including several prominent Libertarians, notably the Ron Paul Institute director, and the Scott Horton Show, who found their Twitter accounts suspended — we learn that the Atlantic Council is directly advising Facebook on identifying and removing "foreign interference" on the popular platform.

While the initiative was initially revealed last May through an official Facebook media release, more details of the controversial think tank's role have been revealed.

Supposedly the whole partnership is aimed at bringing more objectivity and neutrality to the process of rooting out fake accounts that pose the threat of being operated by nefarious foreign states.

And yet as a new Reuters report confirms, Facebook is now itself a top donor to the Atlantic Council, alongside Western governments, Gulf autocratic regimes, NATO, various branches of the US military, and a number of major defense contractors and corporations.

What's more is that the team of four total individuals running the Atlantic Council's Digital Forensic Research Lab (DFR Lab) is headed by a former National Security Council advisor for the last four years of the Obama administration, Graham Brookie, who is also its founder.

Apparently the group's work has already been instrumental in Facebook taking action against over two dozen "suspicious pages" flagged potential foreign actors such as Russia. According to Reuters:

Facebook is using the group to enhance its investigations of foreign interference. Last week, the company said it took down 32 suspicious pages and accounts that purported to be run by leftists and minority activists. While some U.S. officials said they were likely the work of Russian agents, Facebook said it did not know for sure.

This is indeed the shocking key phrase included in the report:"Facebook said it did not know for sure." And yet the accounts were removed anyway.

The Facebook-Atlantic Council alliance reportedly springs from the social media giant's finding itself desperate for outside "neutral" help after a swell of public criticism, mostly issuing from congressional leaders and prominent media pundits, for supposedly allowing Russian propaganda accounts to operate ahead of the 2016 elections.

so why assume our (or any for that matter) brain is different - science and engieneering gave us EEG. we know brain produces EM waves. they can be detected by probes on the OUTSIDE (ON SKULL) OF OUR BRAIN. ergo, our thoughts/emotions generate EM waves.

we can also safely assume that every thought produces a different frequency specturm. we could go further and say that good thoughts produce different EM FREQUENCY PATTERN than bad thoughts.

humans evolved thru milenia to be able to instinctively (subconsciously) detect and react to body language, tone and pitch of voice, infer context, … [THIS IS TESTABLE BY YOURSELF IN EVERYDAY]

HUGE SPECULATION: humans evolved to detect weak and specific spectrums of EM waves emitted by brains of other fellow humans, most easily those from same backgrounds, with alike genetics.

Mattis calls space a ‘developing war zone,’ mulls creating combatant command before Space Force

US Defense Secretary James Mattis says the Pentagon agrees with President Donald Trump on viewing space as a possible battlefield and is considering setting up a combatant command until the Space Force can be created.

“We need to address space as a developing war-fighting domain, and a combatant command is certainly one thing that we can establish,” Mattis told reporters on Tuesday, adding that the Pentagon is “in complete alignment”with Trump’s concerns about protecting US assets in space.

“We’re going to have to address it as other countries show a capability to attack those assets,” the secretary added.

Trump issued a directive in June to begin preparations for creating the Space Force as a separate branch of the US military, along with the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard. Doing so will ultimately require an act of Congress, however.

“We are working our way through all this,” Mattis said. “The vice president is kind-of the point man for the president on this, we are working daily with his office and with supporters on Capitol Hill and the relevant committees.”

Though Mattis was opposed to the idea of setting up a space force last year, he seems to have come around to Trump’s viewpoint that space “is a war-fighting domain just like the land, air, and sea.”

America’s way of life is dependent on space, NASA administrator Jim Bridenstine told CBS News last month. “If we lose the GPS signal, there are no inner bank transfers, that means there will be no milk in the grocery stores, our way of life shuts down, and that’s why hostile countries around the world are taking action to make these capabilities vulnerable for the USA,” he added.

Current Air Force Secretary Heather Wilson has pointed to China’s 2007 use of a guided missile to destroy a satellite in orbit as a potential threat to 77 US military satellites currently orbiting the earth.

“The United States is determined to protect our capability on orbit, we’re going to defend ourselves, and we’re developing the capability to do that,” Wilson said at an event hosted by the Washington Post last month.

Setting up a space force as a separate service branch won’t do much good without a combatant command, Wilson’s predecessor, Deborah Lee James, argued at a Brookings Institute event.

“A military service trains, organizes, and equips, it doesn’t war fight. The combatant commands do the war fight,” James said.

The comments from Mattis on Tuesday seem to indicate the Pentagon is looking at setting up a command first, while continuing to push the launch of Space Force through the bureaucratic channels of Washington.

"We'll get it right. We'll work it through the Congress. We have the direction from the president and we're underway,” Mattis said.

The US currently has six geographic (Africa, Europe, Central, Northern, Southern, Into-Pacific) and four functional combatant commands (Cyber, Strategic, Special Operations and Transportation).

Defendant Released from Local Custody Despite Outstanding ICE Detainer Pleads Guilty to Illegal Reentry following Philadelphia Conviction for Rape of Child

Philadelphia, PA – U.S. Attorney William M. McSwain announced that Juan Ramon Vasquez, a citizen of Honduras, pleaded guilty today to illegal reentry after deportation. In May 2009, the defendant was deported from the United States. Thereafter, in March 2014, the defendant was found back in the United States by U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement (“ICE”) officers. At that time, Vasquez was in the custody of the Philadelphia Department of Prisons.

The City of Philadelphia thereafter chose not to comply with a detainer lodged by ICE for the defendant, who was instead released from custody by the Philadelphia Department of Prisons. After his release, the defendant was rearrested and convicted for rape of a child and unlawful sexual contact with a minor. The defendant is currently serving a sentence of 8 to 20 years in state prison.

The defendant, having now pleaded guilty to the federal charge of illegal reentry after deportation, faces a maximum possible sentence of two years in federal prison. He is scheduled to be sentenced on November 20, 2018, by the Honorable Nitza I. Quiñones Alejandro.

“The facts of this case highlight the danger posed by the City of Philadelphia’s decision to disregard ICE detainers and release previously deported aliens from local custody,” said U.S. Attorney McSwain. “Those of us in the law enforcement business should be doing everything in our power to protect vulnerable children from predators like Vasquez. Instead, this defendant received a free pass from the City of Philadelphia and its Department of Prisons, headed straight back into our community, and committed a heinous crime he never would have had the chance to commit had the City of Philadelphia complied with the ICE detainer.”

The case was investigated by ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Vineet Gauri.

Post I was writing when I was suddenly banned from GA. This is happening a lot we need to do something about these mods. GA has a huge amount of anons and shill mods are deciding what will be seen and what wont be.

I made a post this morning just to get people to think and have a discussion. The post had about 30 comments fairly quickly then a mod came in and took it down for rule #3, does not support the cause.

I want to make it clear I understand why the rules are there and they are crucial to making sure this board stays in tippy top shape. But these mods have an enormous responsibility when deciding what people do and dont get to see. Discernment is an absolute crucial factor and needs to be used properly to identify if something is truly harmful or spam.

Now my post being taken down is not important but it got me thinking about how often this is happening. I have seen a lot of fellow Patriots talking about this happening and having a backup in case things go to shit here. I think this needs to be addressed so we have a backup.
