I have been raising cows now for 9 years now. I bought a 9 cow herd with my farm. I have tried to break even every year to grow my herd. I took no income and only sold 10 month old bulls all of these years. The cost of a new tractor is $80k. Off road diesel is o er $5 per gallon. I love my country and our President. Taking a 25% cut in p th ice of cows os absolutely going to bury me this year. Im looking at my tools to see which ones I can sell. Our farm was hit by a tornado 2 years ago. Now we are im a severe drought. 1 of my ponds went dry. I do not give a shit about Argentina. My newest vehicle is from 2012. I haven’t filled my farm fuel tank this year. Now I have to compete with other countries that can manipulate their own money by printing it. What the actual fuck? Rigging commodity markets so people on welfare can eat crap off of the $2 menu should be illegal. It is the first form of communism. Price fixing. Rice farmers are losing money working all year. Anon used a very thin "wood" panel from home depot to replace the door insert on a chest freezer. The original door insert cracked near the center light and the light holder and some insulation fell on top of the food containers.

At first I thought I could just replace the mat insulation and door insert with a piece of pink foam board, until I checked the specs for the original insulation, which was R-13. The foam board was R-5, even double stacked it wouldn't be enough.

The panel board was intended as a temporary fix until I could locate a door insert or some other more permanent solution.

The panelling fits, barely, in the gasket and I used pan head sheet metal screws in the corners for additional support. All it's really doing is holding the insulation up. It's held up for a while now. I've had no issues with moisture getting into the "wood".
