Lets be conservative and say 1M to allow for some variation and to make the math a bit easier. The comet lost ~ 1.5% of 1% of its mass during it's last pass by the sun. Which means it is now (1-0.00015)^(1e6)=7.09482051203e-66 times its original mass which is estimated at 1.3x10^16 kg. So its original mass would have been about 1.8e+81 kg. Now that's a big number so lets compare it to something else that is really big, like the sun. The mass of the sun is 1.989x10^30 kg. So Hale-Bopp originally weighed 9e+50 times the weight of the sun. That's a 9 with 50 zeros after it! (Go ahead and check the numbers, they're real. All high school level math.)

So the next time you see someone making claims based on the extrapolation of numbers, even approximately correct ones, remember Hale-Bopp. BTW in case you missed the point, if the above were true we (and the sun) would all be orbiting Hale-Bopp.

Six Arrested in Margaritaville Kidnapping and Torture Case

Six men have been arrested in connection with a federal kidnapping and torture case tied to the Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort in Florida, according to unsealed court documents and FBI affidavits Fox News+1.

Alleged Sequence of Events

One suspect, Fajardo (“Gordo”), allegedly lured two victims to his car in the resort’s parking garage, offering to “smoke weed” WKRC+1.

A third vehicle, driven by Anthony Hernandez, also arrived WKRC.

Ending the war also includes ending the occupation," Aragachi said at a press conference in front of foreign diplomats and ambassadors discussing the deal. "Without the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the territories they occupied during this war, the war cannot be considered fully concluded."

"Any military attack by Israel against Lebanon from this point forward, as well as any continued occupation of Lebanese territory, will be regarded by us as a violation of the memorandum of understanding," Araghchi added.

this is how the boycott works:

- don't talk about your plans with your coworkers. don't mention it to anyone! let the effect speak for itself.

- don't let anyone know you are part of it

- don't make lists with participants or chat groups

- don't set negotiation goals, don't start making (political) demands, especially not in public!

- don't link any public or political agenda to this (non-)movement!

- it's not illegal to boycott work!

- on day X, you simply stop showing up for work

- on day X, you call in to work and say "oh I'm sorry can't come today because …"

- you might have an upset stomach, caught the flu, have a headache, back-pain, maybe you are tired or there is an emergency in your family

- you are "sick" for at least 1 week, perhaps even a whole month!

- anyone who tries to hijack this (non-)movement and put themselves up as some sort of leader shall have NO SUPPORT! NONE AT ALL!

- the talking heads on the public stage will have a hard time explaining what's currently (not) happening!

- don't take part in any activities in public! make yourself a nice time with friends and family and enjoy your time at home, after all you are "ill" and can't work!

Organize within your city, state, district or whatever location boundary you deem realistic. Organize anonymously. You make a poll when the work boycott begins and how long it is going to be enforced. When the date hits you simply call out sick.

Doctor's offices will be the first to shutdown because of demand.

It's important to organize anonymously. No public message or talking heads are needed.
