In August 2010, Gareth Williams — a brilliant mathematician on secondment to MI6 from GCHQ — was found dead inside a padlocked holdall in the bath of his Pimlico flat. Despite a coroner ruling his death was "probably unlawful," police later closed the case as a likely accident. This video examines why that conclusion stretches credibility, and what the evidence really points to.

From the outset, MI6 obstructed the police investigation: withholding memory sticks, wiping computer equipment, preventing detectives from speaking to colleagues, and leaking smears about Williams's private life to the press. The parallels with other suspicious deaths — Jonathan Moyle in 1990 and Stephen Milligan in 1994 — suggest a familiar pattern of discrediting victims whose deaths were inconvenient to the establishment.

Drawing on intelligence insiders and the testimony of Russian defector Boris Karpichkov, the video puts forward the case that Williams was targeted by Russian intelligence in a covert operation codenamed "Operation Sweetie." Having stumbled onto the identity of a Russian mole inside GCHQ, he was silenced — and then posthumously smeared to keep the truth buried.

Pakistan PM says US-Iran peace deal signing expected within 24 hours

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on Saturday that the United States and Iran have agreed to a framework for a peace deal that would end the months-long conflict in the Middle East, with a final text of the deal reached.

This comes a day after a senior administration official told reporters that the US and Iran are close to a deal requiring Iran to relinquish its uranium, which has been enriched to near-bomb grade.

Iran has escalated efforts to seal off its stockpile of enriched uranium, collapsing tunnels, and placing explosive mines at entrances in recent weeks, CNN reported on Saturday, citing five sources familiar with US intelligence.

This comes a day after a senior administration official told reporters that the US and Iran are close to a deal requiring Iran to relinquish its uranium, which has been enriched to near-bomb grade, to the US.

Reuters also reported on Friday that the emerging US-Iran deal will include the dismantling of the Iranian nuclear program and allow the US to collect the regime's enriched uranium.

Unexploded interceptor located in Yokneam

An IDF interceptor projectile that fell during the recent conflict with Iran and did not explode was located in the Yokneam area Saturday morning.

Yokneam Municipality stated that Police and security forces are currently on site, treating the scene and preparing to carry out a controlled explosion.

NATO’s answer in January 2025 was Baltic Sentry, a standing patrol of frigates, aircraft and naval drones dedicated to watching the seabed. It mostly worked.

The region went quiet for nearly a year, until December 31, 2025, when Finnish police boarded the cargo ship Fitburg, en route from Russia to Israel, on suspicion of anchor-dragging a telecom cable between Helsinki and Estonia.

Apparently the Finnish special forces have stopped taking New Year’s Eve off. No court has issued a final ruling on any of these cases, and the operators have generally denied wrongdoing, but the operational pattern is consistent enough that nobody in a NATO uniform treats it as coincidence anymore.

Russian submarines never left the neighborhood

Anchors are only half of the Baltic’s underwater problem, and frankly the easier half, because a tanker on the surface is visible to anyone with a radar. Submarines are the other half.

On April 10, 2026, Swedish JAS 39 Gripen fighters intercepted a Russian Kilo-class submarine transiting the Kattegat toward the Baltic and tracked it in coordination with allied forces, according to a Swedish Armed Forces press release.

With Sweden and Finland inside NATO since 2024 and 2023, a Russian boat now gets watched from the moment it enters the corridor, handed off between coastal radar, ships and aircraft like a package with tracking enabled.

Transiting in international waters is perfectly legal, and nobody alleges otherwise.

The concern, as Army Recognition frames it, is that rising Russian submarine activity overlaps with a seabed full of fragile, expensive infrastructure that has already been damaged repeatedly.

Drones like the Iver3 feed into distributed underwater sensing networks designed to detect and track exactly this kind of activity. A robot that loiters below the surface for hours does not get tired, does not need a galley, and does not show up on anyone’s deck-watching photos.

So the surveillance gap that submarines have exploited for a century is quietly shrinking.

BALTOPS turned 55, and the robots are the new kids

The exercise hosting all this is no pop-up. BALTOPS has run annually since 1972, and the 55th edition kicked off on June 4 when some 20 NATO ships departed Gdynia, Poland, per the US Navy.

Fifteen allied nations are taking part through June 19, under the command of the US Sixth Fleet together with STRIKFORNATO, drilling the classics: submarine hunting, mine clearance, air defense and amphibious landings.

What is new is the doctrine layered on top, with dedicated uncrewed units treated as core capability rather than science fair projects.

And the shopping spree backs it up. The same Navy flying Iver3s off Latvia just took delivery of the Australian-built Speartooth drone submarine, a long-range strike and surveillance machine that ships inside a standard commercial container.

The AUKUS pact, fresh off its latest restructuring, quietly funded a whole program of seabed drone payloads aimed squarely at protecting cables and pipelines.

Canada’s defense agency, meanwhile, owns a hydrogen-powered drone that parks itself on the seabed for 16 days to stare at a single cable junction.

Three different programs, three different navies, one conclusion: the seafloor stopped being neutral ground, and everyone is buying robots for it.

The week that mattered was a boring one

Nothing exploded off Liepaja, no cable was cut during the exercise, and the most dramatic published image is a few sailors in a small boat lifting a six-foot yellow tube out of gray water.

That is sort of the point. The contest for the Baltic seabed has so far been fought with anchors, ambiguity and deniability, and the counter to ambiguity is not a bigger torpedo.

It is a fresh, accurate map and someone checking it every day. A week of drone runs off Latvia buys exactly that: yesterday’s seabed picture, so that the next “whoops, my anchor” finally has a witness. The witness runs on batteries and fits in a pickup bed.

FBI Seattle Announces 'No Drone Zones' for FIFA World Cup 2026™

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), in coordination with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), has established a “No Drone Zone” for FIFA World Cup 2026.

Unsafe and improper use of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) or drones poses a physical hazard to other aircraft and individuals on the ground and can violate federal law. 

The FBI is working with the FAA to enforce temporary flight restrictions (TFRs), using federally authorized capabilities to detect, track, and assess unauthorized drone activity, with personnel from both agencies deployed full-time to identify drone activity that could threaten aviation safety, critical infrastructure, or public safety at and around event venues.

FBI Seattle, together with our partners from Seattle Police Department, King County Sheriff’s Office, Washington State Patrol, the Port of Seattle, and DHS agencies, including the Federal Air Marshal Service, have developed a new public service announcement, emphasizing the importance of drone operators checking for active flight restrictions.

One-minute and 30-second versions of the public service announcement are available for download.

TFRs will be in place for all U.S. match venues and associated event sites. In Seattle, the TFRs will cover Seattle Stadium (Lumen Field) and a radius of 3 miles around the stadium.

The TFRs will be in place 3 hours before the match until 3 hours after the conclusion of the match on the following dates:

Dear Jim Watkins, Board Owner, anons appreciate all your hard work, time and money for this board and many others.

I have hopefully have easy solution for “black bold” letters posting, for anons that complain about “red text” posting.

For many years we’ve usedred brackets, to highlight a word, sentence etc when posting. I do have a habit of using this, maybe too much, and there are lot of complainers about red text. The only solution that I have is to make it easier to do “black bold” text. Right now it not easy or used very much now on the board. (Skip to bottom to not have to read my verbosity)

So to soothe the red text complainers the other solution, is to create easier to post “black bold” letters. “ Bold black” now is currently hard to do with ‘’’ three apostrophes on both ends, due to all the different keyboards anons use.

An ‘’’example’’’: “black bold” takes longer and is harder to do than red text post:example

As you might have noticed, on the posts it’s very rare, to see an anon try to highlight a word, sentence, paragraph posting anything in ‘’’bold black’’’, because it’s a hassle and takes too long.

I’m suggesting a replacement of doing a “bold black” text, word, sentence etc below. This will make it very simple to use it andthis will stop the anons offended by my red texts of harassing me daily.

Spencer Pratt has blamed his political rivals for a huge blaze which broke out at his California crystal business.

The fire erupted at Pratt's company office in the Pacific Palisades late Thursday afternoon, the California Post reported.

Former NIH Head Secretly Helped With Paper Dismissing Theory COVID-19 Came From Lab

Then-National Institutes of Health (NIH) Director Dr. Francis Collins, around the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, acknowledged that he secretly assisted with a paper stating the virus that causes COVID-19 "is not a laboratory construct or a purposefully manipulated virus," according to a newly released missive.

"This is work that Tony, Jeremy, Larry, and I helped with, but are appropriately not mentioned explicitly in the paper," Collins said in the March 6, 2020, email to NIH officials, which was released by Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) on June 11.

Tony refers to Dr. Anthony Fauci, the longtime head of the NIH's National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases through late 2022. Jeremy refers to Jeremy Farrar, at the time the director of the Wellcome Trust. Larry refers to Dr. Lawrence Tabak, an NIH official.

Collins noted the conclusion that stated, "The analysis of public genome sequence data from SARS-CoV-2 and related viruses found no evidence that the virus was made in a laboratory or otherwise engineered." SARS-CoV-2 is the coronavirus that causes COVID-19.

The first COVID-19 cases appeared in Wuhan, China, in 2019, near a laboratory that was conducting enhanced experiments on coronaviruses funded by the NIH.

Collins was responding to an email from Kristian Andersen, one of the authors of the paper, which was titled "The Proximal Origin of SARS-CoV-2." Andersen and other scientists said in the paper, published on March 17, 2020, in Nature Medicine, that they analyzed data and concluded that it came from nature.

To date, no natural source has been identified for the virus. The Trump administration maintains the virus came from the Wuhan lab.

The paper did not mention any contributions from Collins, Fauci, Tabak, or Farrar, who made at least one critical change to the document, according to emails released by lawmakers in 2023. It thanked American virologist Michael Farzan "for discussions" and the Wellcome Trust "for support." Nature did not return a request for comment by the time of publication. Collins did not respond to a request for comment.

69 Arrested In 'Operation Hands Down' Targeting Central California Gangs

Authorities announced dozens of arrests, drug and firearm seizures, and thousands of dollars in cash confiscated in a large-scale operation targeting gangs in California's Central Valley.

The multi-agency effort, dubbed Operation Hands Down, served 43 search warrants at various locations throughout the San Joaquin Valley, the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) stated in a June 10 press release.

More than 500 law enforcement members joined the operation, leading to 69 arrests and the confiscation of 73 guns, 55 pounds of methamphetamine, 3 pounds of cocaine, a small amount of powdered fentanyl, and nearly $165,000.

"This marked the culmination of a two-month undercover operation focusing on Mexican Mafia and Sureño gang members committing various crimes," the CDCR stated.

The arrests are expected to lower the amount of gang violence seen across the Central Valley, the department added.

Among those arrested was Stefan Coronado from Stockton, California, who was identified as a secretary for the Mexican Mafia, Fresno County Sheriff John Zanoni said during a press conference.

Coronado allegedly oversaw criminal street gang activity within the Fresno County Jail from around 2023 to early 2026, including collecting taxes from inmates, facilitating communications between gang members, and acting as a Mexican mafia representative to influence the Sureño gang.

Police also arrested Eduardo Roberto Garcia, a suspect believed to be a high-ranking and influential Sureño gang member associated with the Mexican Mafia, who is now facing murder charges, Zanoni said.

Zanoni said Garcia is also being charged with assault in a previous case in which he allegedly attacked a female bartender in the city of Sanger and rendered her unconscious. The incident was captured on surveillance camera, according to Zanoni.

"It highlights the violent nature of Garcia and his gang activities," said Zanoni. "The investigation significantly disrupted organized Sureño criminal street gang activity throughout Central California while exposing the continued influence of the Mexican Mafia over both street-level criminal operations and violence occurring within our custodial facilities."

Additionally, eight Sureño gang members currently being held in the Fresno County Jail have been charged with attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, and gang enhancements for their alleged involvement in two separate stabbing attacks inside the facility, he said.
