A large blast was heard near the Jerusalem-area city of Beit Shemesh this evening, at a testing ground belonging to the state-owned Tomer defense firm.

In a statement, Tomer — which develops engines for rockets and missiles — says that the blast was “a pre-planned experiment that was carried out according to plan.”

Residents in the Beit Shemesh area reported a loud explosion and fire visible from afar. A somewhat apocalyptic sight.

It turns out it was a controlled explosion carried out inside a civilian factory. No damage or casualties. You can relax.

Progressive outlets are in an uproar this week over a White House sponsored Christian prayer event scheduled to take place on this Sunday at the National Mall. The Trump administration and the Freedom 250 nonprofit will host "Rededicate 250," which will feature Cabinet members and conservative religious leaders to mark the nation's 250th anniversary.

According to event organizers, the program aims to reflect on the faith of America's founders and serve as a national moment of rededication. Participants include Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and House Speaker Mike Johnson.

Leftists journalists and Democrats are accusing the Trump Administration of violating the US Constitution and the "separation of church and state" by sponsoring the event. This is, of course, a blatant misinterpretation of the 1st Amendment, but it's also an opportunity to debunk many of the claims made by the left-wing when it comes to religious expression by government officials.

It might come as a shock to those that religiously follow leftist propaganda, but the words "separation of church and state" do not appear a single time in the US Constitution. The phrase comes from a 1802 letter by Thomas Jefferson to the Danbury Baptist Association, where he described the First Amendment as building "a wall of separation between Church & State."

The First Amendment states: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…"

Jefferson was primarily concerned with the use of government as a weapon to persecute people of various denominations that refused to submit to a singular state sponsored church, which was a common practice of the English Crown. It should be noted that there was, essentially, no other prominent religious groups beyond Christians recognized in the colonies at the time of the formation of the United States, aside from a small population of around 2000 Jewish settlers.

The US was, by every measure, founded as a Christian nation, even if there was no official state church.

The Founding Fathers are often described by leftists as "followers of the Enlightenment", as if this means they were not Christian. All of them were in fact Christian while also promoting some ideals of the Enlightenment. Many prominent figures of the enlightenment were religious, including Isaac Newton, John Locke, and Christian Wolff.

Their goal was to seek harmony between faith and reason, not erase the practice of faith from society or government. As John Adams said:

“The general principles on which the fathers achieved independence were the general principles of Christianity…I will avow that I then believed, and now believe, that those general principles of Christianity are as eternal and immutable as the existence and attributes of God.”

He also stated:

“Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”

May 15 (Reuters) - A longstanding diversity and inclusion requirement for U.S. law schools is teetering amid mounting pressure from the Trump administration and Republican states.

The American Bar Association council that oversees law school accreditation voted on Friday to eliminate a rule that requires law schools to demonstrate their commitment to diversity in recruitment, admissions, and student programming.

The ‌rule has been suspended since February 2025, after Republican President Donald Trump returned to the White House and began cracking down on diversity, equity and inclusion efforts.

"Even though I personally agree with [the diversity and inclusion standard] and what it tries to achieve, I think it's appropriate as an accrediting body that we eliminate that standard so we don't inhibit the diversity of ideas out there in various types of legal education environments," said David Brennen, a council member and a former dean ⁠of the University of Kentucky College of Law.

The change would not become final until the ABA's House of Delegates begins to consider it as early as August and then debates revisions.That approval process could push the diversity rule's elimination to sometime in 2027.

The ABA's accreditation rules for law schools have required diversity and inclusion for decades, providing a key tool for advocates seeking to bolster the number of women and minorities in the U.S. legal profession — which remains more heavily white and male than the nation's population.

But the ABA's focus on DEI has placed the organization squarely in the crosshairs of the second Trump administration.

Trump in April 2025 signed an executive order directing U.S. Education Secretary Linda McMahon to assess whether to suspend or terminate the ABA as the government's official law school ‌accreditor, citing ⁠its "unlawful 'diversity, equity, and inclusion' requirements," as part of an executive order focused on reforming higher education accreditation.

Texas, Florida and Alabama have each moved to sideline the ABA in their lawyer licensing processes in recent months, and several other Republican-controlled states are weighing similar moves.

The ABA received a raft of public comments asking it to retain or strengthen the diversity and inclusion rule — mostly from legal educators — but a key committee recommended it be eliminated in order ⁠to retain the organization's status as the federally recognized accreditor of law schools.

On Sunday morning, freeloader and former DHS Secretary Kristi Noem received an unwanted Mother’s Day gift: Eviction from the stately Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling waterfront home in which she had lived since early 2025.

As reported previously, Noem, whom our sources at Anacostia-Bolling described as a “screeching Karen,” “an annoyance,” and a “diva pretending to be a cowgirl,” was first told to vacate the house days after Trump fired her on March 5. She disregarded a notice to pack her belongings and leave within 30 days and then griped about receiving a second letter granting her an additional 30 days to comply or face forcible eviction. The deadline was Mother’s Day.

By sheer coincidence, Noem was off base visiting family in South Dakota, her birthplace, when three U-Hauls parked outside the house, and base security drilled the front door lock. From sunup until sundown, movers emptied the home room by room. The heaviest and bulkiest items went first—Appliances Noem had bought, her living and dining room furniture, and her bedroom set. The haulers courteously took before-and-after pictures, photographing every piece of Noem’s property so she couldn’t later accuse them of theft. They took inventory of everything. Within a walk-in closet, they found Noem’s massive shoe collection—more than 300 pairs of designer heels in every conceivable color. Two-thirds seemed unworn, a source at Anacostia-Bolling’s 11th Operations Group told Real Raw News.

“She’s got more shoes than Imelda Marcos,” he said hyperbolically.

Imelda Marcos, former First Lady of the Philippines, is famous for an extensive shoe collection totaling over 1,000 pairs, which became a global symbol of excess and corruption following her family’s ouster in 1986.

“Kristi only has a few pairs of cowboy boots, but there were what I’d call quite a few pairs of stripper boots in that closet, too,” our source added.

On a bedroom bureau was a glass jewelry box showcasing 12 Rolex watches and a $42,000 Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra. She had enough gold and diamond earrings, bracelets, and necklaces to stock a jewelry store showroom. Noem had also, and without permission, had a floor safe installed underneath a bedroom rug. For whatever reason, the safe was unlocked and held two million dollars in cash—banded $100 bills.

“Careless for someone as paranoid as Kristi,” our source said. “And odd for someone who has that kind of money to keep it home. Maybe she thought that since she was on an Armed Forces base, it was safe…I dunno. She’s spending cash like it’s going out of style. She’d better hope none of that is kickbacks from the DHS advertising campaigns she approved.”

Toward day’s end, another former administration official who still resides on base and has yet to receive an eviction order noticed the commotion and made a nuisance of herself. It was Pam Bondi, dressed in a blue tracksuit and Reebok sneakers, taking a late afternoon jog through the neighborhood. She crossed her arms and barked at the movers, demanding to know “what the hell is going on here.” A senior base official, whose name our source wouldn’t disclose, allegedly told Bondi to mind her own business and carry on, or they’d visit her house next.

“We changed the locks and security codes. All her stuff was put in a storage facility off the base. Her credentials to get back on have been revoked.”

Noem’s reaction is unknown, as she was still in South Dakota at the time of this writing.

In closing, we asked our source whether the intrusion into Noem’s home violated her 4th Amendment rights.

“It’s not her house; it’s the government’s, the taxpayers’. She had ample time to leave, but didn’t. That’s on her, not on us,” he said.

See, this is what I'm talking about. I'm not anti technology or even anti data center. I'm against them coming into areas that aren't zoned for them and dropping my water table. Remember when Lynn Forester De Rothschild literally came HERE and said we'd all die of thirst? I remember.

All you have is identity attacks, rather than a counter argument. What data centers really should be doing is trying to find the absolutely least populated parts of the US and locate THERE. Not in rural communities whose governments they believe they can buy.

Climate change is fake and gay, but theres a LOT of CEOS who have said they want to privatize access to water. Right now, I get water from my own land out of my own well. Water table goes down, I lose my access to my own water.

The companies pushing data centers are full on satanic. Why you'd be shilling for them and not even making logical arguments makes me think you're a shill, or an extremely misled person.

Elon is talking about putting these developments in space, which I think is a good conversation because he at least understands how unpopular these are and seeks to put them somewhere they can be most beneficial and the least invasive to Americans.

Personally I think the AI bubble will pop, because while AI has some niche applications, the companies using it right now haven't yet made it profitable and no company using it has become more efficient as a result. It's basically an attempt to resell people the internet, and everyone who missed out on the initial internet boom wants to make bank, which is fine, but they need to invest smart. Pump and dumps are not a smart investment, and we all know what happened with the Metaverse.

People also say they’re looking for aliens! Well, sort of.

Actually, they’re working right next door to each other, doing their own things, and sometimes collaborate. And I’m not saying LUCIFER in all caps because I am yelling, or even for emphasis, but because it’s more properly L. U. C. I. F. E. R., the Large Binocular Telescope Near-infrared Utility with Camera and Integral Field Unit for Extragalactic Research.

It’s rather obvious that, yes, they worked hard to get the name of Satan worked in there.

Where does the Vatican come in?

It starts, as so many of these things, with the Jesuits.

Yes, I giggled at that; they really are the go-to group for when one of these stories doesn’t want to name the entire Church, aren’t they?

In this case, they’re involved because they run the Vatican Observatory group. According to their website at Vaticanobservatory.VA: They are a dozen research astronomers (mostly Jesuit priests, but also including two Jesuit brothers and one diocesan priest) plus a number of support staff, emeritus staff, and adjunct scholars. We come from many different nations and cultures, representing nearly every continent.

In fairness, the Observatory group was founded for an ulterior reason, because Pope Leo XIII wanted to demonstrate that science and religion aren’t opposed. He formally set them up in 1891. (The connection between the Church and science is not an unknown theme to readers of this site, but people do tend to learn best from ongoing demonstrations.) Previous iterations were set up for specific purposes, including reforming the calendar, and the first formal Vatican Observatory was founded in 1774. There were only a few years between when the last one ended and the current one got going.

Across the center of this spiral galaxy is a bar. And at the center of this bar is smaller spiral. And at the center of that spiral is a supermassive black hole. This all happens in the big, beautiful, barred spiral galaxy cataloged as NGC 1300, a galaxy that lies some 70 million light-years away toward the constellation of the river Eridanus. This Hubble Space Telescope composite view of the gorgeous island universe is one of the most detailed Hubble images ever made of a complete galaxy. NGC 1300 spans over 100,000 light-years and the Hubble image reveals striking details of the galaxy's dominant central bar and majestic spiral arms. How the giant bar formed, how it remains, and how it affects star formation remains an active topic of research.
