The two oil pipelines helping Saudi Arabia and UAE bypass the Strait of Hormuz

The effective closure of the Strait of Hormuz has abruptly thrust two alternative oil pipelines into the global spotlight, one in Saudi Arabia and another in the United Arab Emirates.
The first is Saudi Arabia's East-West pipeline network, or Petroline, a roughly 750-mile system that transports crude across Saudi Arabia, connecting Abqaiq on the oil-rich kingdom's eastern Gulf coast to the port of Yanbu on the Red Sea.
The East-West pipeline is estimated to have a total design capacity of 7 million barrels per day, following recent expansions, and Saudi oil giant Aramco said earlier this week that it expects the network to reach full capacity over the coming days.
The second smaller pipeline is the UAE's Abu Dhabi Crude Oil Pipeline (ADCOP), or the Habshan–Fujairah oil pipeline. Spanning around 248 miles from onshore oil facilities at Habshan to Fujairah, the pipeline is estimated to handle 1.5 million barrels per day, with a reported total capacity of close to 1.8 million barrels per day.

It is at the core of military service, at the core of our government. And I see this president foolishly and recklessly putting us into a war, but also without coming to Congress. We had a war powers resolution vote that failed. I think that was a grave mistake by the representatives and senators who didn’t vote to put a stop to this. It is the American people who decide whether we send our troops to fight. The American people haven’t decided. And I’ve seen lots of polling. I’m sure you’ve seen it and talked about it, Jen, most Americans don’t want this war. They don’t support it. And that is exceedingly rare to see the start of a war, already, with the American people opposed. That’s not typically what happens. We don’t send our troops in without the country backing the fight. And the American people don’t want this war. And I think they’re right to push back on the justifications that are constantly changing from the Trump administration for why they did this in the first place.”

Dr. STONE Anime Collaborates With JAXA’s Tsukuba Space Center

The TV anime Dr. STONE is collaborating with the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) at the Tsukuba Space Center. A brand-new collaboration visual created specifically for the project has been released.
From April 4 to August 31, a special collaboration event will also take place at the Space Dome, the exhibition hall inside the Tsukuba Space Center in Ibaraki Prefecture.
Special displays related to the anime will be set up throughout the Space Dome. More details about the event will be announced at a later date.
The third cour of the final season of the TV anime Dr. STONE: SCIENCE FUTURE will begin streaming on Crunchyroll starting April 2.
