🚨NEW🚨 As per an anonymous law enforcement source a recent NYPD recruit who was hired in December and currently in training at the police academy has submitted a reasonable accommodation request, asking to:
“Be exempt from saluting the American flag”. According to the source “the recruit claims saluting the American flag is against his reglion, and he may only praise Allah.”
It should be noted that as per the NYPD’s Administrative Guide, saluting the American Flag is a requirement.
If in fact such a request was made it should be DENIED. Saluting the Flag is a sign of respect, it is NOT idolatry or worship. Enabling blatant disrespect to our country should be considered an undue hardship.
Remember the NYPD had no issue violating the law and arbitrarily deciding who was religious or not when it came to forcing their members who already were previously infected to take the COVID vaccine.
