Im no boomer, but the general idea is valid. People dont even realize the thousands of dollars of electronics, or the complication that represents. I mean hell, most of these idiots sit with their chest 4" from the explosive in the steering wheel. Cars i get into at work, I feel like a bear in a clown car because people think they have to sit on top of the damn thing.
Personally, I own a 5 speed from the 90s with no abs/tc, minimal airbags, etc, and manual locks and windows. Its cheaper and crank up windows dont need to be electronically calibrated.
