Appeals court upholds $1M penalty against Trump in lawsuit against Hillary Clinton

A federal appeals court has upheld a penalty of nearly $1 million against President Donald Trump and attorney Alina Habba, concluding they committed “sanctionable conduct” by filing a frivolous lawsuit against Hillary Clinton and former FBI Director James Comey.

“Many of Trump’s and Habba’s legal arguments were indeed frivolous,” 11th Circuit Court of Appeals Chief Judge William Pryor Jr. wrote for a unanimous, three-judge panel, including Trump appointee Andrew Brasher and Biden appointee Embry Kidd.

The Atlanta-based appeals court also rejected Trump’s bid to reinstate the 2022 lawsuit targeting Clinton, Comey and others over allegations about ties between Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign and Russia. The lawsuit alleged a broad racketeering conspiracy to conjure up false allegations against his campaign and then instigate investigations like special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe.

And Pryor, a George W. Bush appointee, concluded that the district court judge who originally ruled against Trump had properly considered Trump’s “pattern of misusing the courts” when deciding to sanction Trump and Habba.

The ruling is the latest rejection of Trump’s legal crusade against his perceived adversaries, and the second rebuke by the 11th Circuit in recent days. Last week, a different panel — which included two Trump appointees — shot down Trump’s effort to revive a lawsuit against CNN over its use of the term “Big Lie” to describe his bid to subvert the 2020 election.

Spokespeople for the White House, Trump’s legal team and Habba did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Habba was a private attorney working for Trump at the time she served as lead counsel on the Russia-related lawsuit. She later became a spokesperson for Trump’s legal team. In March of this year, Trump named Habba to serve temporarily as the top federal prosecutor in New Jersey. When that appointment was set to expire in July, the administration used an unusual maneuver to keep her in the job. A judge ruled in August that the effort to extend Habba’s term was illegal, but the Justice Department is appealing that decision.

Pryor’s 36-page opinion called Trump’s lawsuit an “abuse of judicial resources.” It echoed the skeptical questions the panel had for Trump’s attorney during oral arguments last week.

U.S. District Judge Donald Middlebrooks, a Bill Clinton appointee based in West Palm Beach, Florida, ordered in January 2023 that Trump and Habba both be held liable for paying the penalty he imposed to recoup legal fees Hillary Clinton, the Democratic National Committee and others incurred to respond to the lawsuit.

London Police Arrest Farmers Protesting Labour Gov’t Death Tax Raid

British farmers were seen being arrested as thousands descended on Westminster on Wednesday morning to protest the leftist Labour Party government’s inheritance tax raids.

Tractors rolled into central London on Wednesday morning as farmers continue to rail against plans from Chancellor Rachel Reeves to impose a 20 per cent inheritance tax on agricultural land valued at over £1 million starting in April.

The move has sparked widespread concern among farmers, who often operate on very thin margins and are typically cash poor, who fear that they would be forced to sell land to pay the tax when their parents die.

Despite consistently staging peaceful protests, the Metropolitan Police announced a last minute ban on Wednesday’s demonstration, citing concerns of disruption to emergency services and local businesses.

The organiser of the protest, Dan Willis, of the Berkshire Farmers Group, told The Telegraph: “The Met decided to pull it at the very last moment. But there was no way to stop these guys; once they were told not to come, the anger was palpable.”

A beef farmer from Newbury commented: ” “Rachel Reeves’s Budget last year was devastating. It actively stopped any progression, any growth, any future development. Any of that was stopped in its tracks.

Footage shared on social media showed farmers being handcuffed and arrested by police. The force has yet to confirm how many arrests were made.

However, Reform UK leader Nigel Farage announced that his party would pay the legal costs for any farmer that was arrested while peacefully protesting.

“The farmers’ planned protest on Whitehall has been cancelled by the police at the last moment. They have come to London and are now being arrested. This is outrageous,” Farage said.

“Reform UK will provide full legal support to every farmer protesting peacefully today.”

Conservative Party Shadow Environment Secretary, Victoria Atkins added: “Our farmers have been let down not just by this city-dwelling Labour Government, but also by the Met police.

“Farmers are not in the habit of protesting. They had been forced to come to Whitehall today to make their voices heard about the devastating impact of the family farm and family business taxes because Rachel Reeves was not listening.”

US warns Ukraine of ‘imminent defeat’ – NBC

A senior US military official has warned that Ukraine faces “imminent defeat” on the battlefield and urged Kiev to accept a US-drafted peace deal before its position deteriorates further, NBC News reported on Tuesday, citing people briefed on the talks.

The initial version of the 28-point draft plan would reportedly require Ukraine to relinquish the parts of the new Russian regions in Donbass still under its control, freeze the front lines in Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, and cap the size of its army.

In a meeting with Ukrainian officials in Kiev last week, US Army Secretary Dan Driscoll told his counterparts that their troops “faced a dire situation on the battlefield and would suffer an imminent defeat against Russian forces,” NBC reported, citing two sources.

The Russian military has been on the offensive in recent months in Donbass and elsewhere, with Ukrainian officials complaining of a lack of manpower.

Driscoll went on to say that Russia is increasing the scale and pace of its air attacks and can “fight on indefinitely,” and warned that US industry cannot keep supplying weapons and air defenses at the required rate, NBC said.

“The message was basically – you are losing, and you need to accept the deal,” the network’s source said.

According to NBC, Kiev refused to sign the deal, which has since been amended. Several media reports also suggest that Driscoll held “secret talks” with the Russian delegation in Abu Dhabi on Monday and Tuesday.

NBC described the talks between Driscoll and Ukrainian officials as a sign of a long-running rift in the Trump administration between Vice President J.D. Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

While Vance’s camp is seeking to push Kiev to compromise and see it “as the primary obstacle to peace,” supporters of Rubio believe that the Ukraine conflict could be settled by pressuring Russia, the network said.

Vance and Rubio have denied being at odds over Ukraine. Russia has said it remains in contact with Washington and has received the broad outlines of the plan, but said it will not “engage in megaphone diplomacy,” which could jeopardize the peace efforts.

In March 2006, the Harvard Kennedy School published a working paper, “The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy,” by influential political scientists John Mearsheimer and Stephen Walt. The paper, which ran in the London Review of Books and became the basis for a book published the following year, was an unflinching analysis of the impact of pro-Israel advocacy and lobbying groups on the U.S. political system, and the role of organizations like the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) in shaping U.S. foreign policy towards the Middle East.

Mearsheimer and Walt described a loose coalition of philanthropists, think tanks, advocacy groups, and Christian Zionist organizations that routinely pulled U.S. policy toward the Middle East away from America’s national interest, as the U.S. was being drawn into a military quagmire in Iraq. “Other special interest groups have managed to skew U.S. foreign policy in directions they favored,” Walt and Mearsheimer wrote, “but no lobby has managed to divert U.S. foreign policy as far from what the American national interest would otherwise suggest, while simultaneously convincing Americans that U.S. and Israeli interests are essentially identical.”

The paper was written by two highly esteemed scholars of international relations; Walt had been serving since 2002 as Academic Dean at Harvard’s Kennedy School, as prestigious an appointment as exists in the field, and Mearsheimer taught at the University of Chicago. But the backlash against it was swift, intense, and unusually public in the world of academia. A wave of news articles described the authors as antisemites, while the Anti-Defamation League weighed in to denounce what they called an “anti-Jewish screed.” The pressure became so intense that the Kennedy School removed its logo from the paper and added a disclaimer distancing the institution from its arguments.

Unknown at the time, Jeffrey Epstein gave feedback on talking points to discredit Mearsheimer and Walt, and used his extensive social network to circulate allegations of anti-semitism against the two scholars. ‘McSCUSE ME?’: 11 States Allow ‘Nutritional’ Food Stamps To Be Spent At Fast Food Restaurants

Nine states allow food stamps to be spent in restaurants, and two more are in the process of allowing it. The fact that the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program is buying taxpayer-funded meals at establishments like McDonald’s has triggered one Republican senator to introduce a bill to stop it.

More than half a billion dollars in taxpayer money went to paying for the indigent to dine out through the Restaurant Meals Program between June 2023 and May 2025, a new investigation by Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) found.

“While franchises like McDonald’s are making McMillions off of SNAP RMP, allowing fast food to be purchased with food stamps is an idea that is a few fries short of a Happy Meal,” she wrote. “The ‘N’ in SNAP stands for ‘Nutrition,’ and we all know fast food isn’t exactly nutritious,” she continued, alongside photos of Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, and KFC locations advertising that they accept government benefit cards.

“McSCUSE ME?” Ernst added on X. “The amount of SNAP being spent at fast food should be $0 not McMillions.”

The Federal Agriculture Department, which funds the food stamp program, allows states to optionally allow food stamp recipients to spend their money at restaurants if they are 60 years or older, disabled, the spouse of such a person, or homeless.

Ernst has introduced the “McStopping Chains from Using SNAP EBT to Make Entrees Act,” or the McSCUSE ME Act, that would allow the elderly or disabled to get hot, prepared meals from deli counters and hot bars of grocery stores, but not from fast food chains. It would also remove spouses of qualified people from eligibility.

The SNAP program was already under scrutiny for allowing the indigent to purchase nearly anything edible, such as candy and soda, even as poor people are more likely to be obese than starving, leading to expensive medical care that is also paid for by taxpayers. Nearly 5,000 stores with words related to “liquor” or “tobacco” in their names accept food stamps, a Daily Wire review of government data found.

Ukraine hits Taganrog with drones: Satellites confirm enemy plane destroyed

During the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ strike on Taganrog, specifically the Russian aviation plant TANTK named after Beriev, on the night of November 25, not only was the Russian army’s experimental A-60 aircraft destroyed, but also the A-100LL plane, according to the OSINT project Harbuz on Telegram.

Satellite images confirm the loss of another Russian aircraft.

The images clearly show the results of the combined attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which used Bars missiles and Neptune cruise missiles.

Instead of the IL-76 shown in the image, the destroyed aircraft was actually the A-100LL, as confirmed by a subsequent satellite image taken before the attack.

The A-100LL is a test platform for the Russian long-term project A-100 Premier, which was intended to replace the Soviet-era A-50 AWACS aircraft, though the program has been on the verge of cancellation.

According to Defence Express, attention should be paid to the radar antenna mounts above the wing.

This clearly indicates that the aircraft is not just an IL-76, but a long-range airborne radar platform.

The A-100 can be distinguished from the A-50 and A-50U by an additional antenna located above the cockpit, which the A-50 does not have.

The fact that this is specifically the A-100LL, a flying laboratory, and not the A-100 Premier prototype, is indicated by its location at TANTK im.

Berieva, where it has been stationed for many years. This aircraft is based on the Il-76MD, with the red tail number 52 and registration RF-93953.

The A-100LL also plays a crucial role as a ground test platform for all A-100 systems. A wide range of testing and evaluation of equipment for the actual operational aircraft is conducted on it.

This makes the A-100LL a highly valuable asset for the Russian program to develop new AWACS aircraft to replace the A-50, as well as for the likely modernization of the existing fleet.

During the Ukrainian Armed Forces strike on Taganrog on the night of November 25, the experimental A-60 aircraft at the TANTK im. Berieva aviation plant was also hit.

The strike reportedly targeted an oil refinery in Taganrog as well. The Ukrainian General Staff confirmed the attack.

Mike Huckabee remains a paid pitchman for the Florida-based American Behavioral Research Institute — makers of the Relaxium dietary supplement pill — even as he simultaneously serves as President Donald Trump’s U.S. ambassador to Israel, one of the world’s highest-profile diplomatic posts.

Huckabee’s unusual arrangement that allows him to profit from hawking the sleep pills coincides with recent government scrutiny of Relaxium’s manufacturer, which describes the product as containing a “carefully formulated blend of drug-free ingredients known for their sleep-inducing and calming properties.”

In the bleary-eyed hours of several Washington nights, Huckabee’s face flickered across local television screens during commercial breaks for “Highlander,” “Renegade” and “Star Trek: Enterprise.”

“I trust Relaxium Sleep, and so should you,” he told Heroes & Icons network viewers earlier this month as an American flag flapped in the background. “Get the best night of sleep, guaranteed. Don’t wait another minute. Call now.”

Huckabee’s ties to Relaxium don’t end with television commercials.

Up until this weekend, Huckabee’s voice was on the other end of the phone, guiding callers through prompts for purchasing Relaxium.

“Press ‘1’ to place an order and trust your night to Relaxium Sleep like I’ve been doing for more than three years now,” Huckabee says.

The sleep supplement’s website homepage also featured a video of Huckabee — next to a similar video from conservative media personality Bill O’Reilly — praising Relaxium as something that’s “changed my life.”

Shortly after NOTUS last week contacted the American Behavioral Research Institute about its Relaxium business relationship with Huckabee, both the Huckabee video and phone recordings disappeared. (As of Tuesday morning, versions of the Huckabee video remained on Relaxium’s Facebook and Vimeo pages, but they were removed following publication of this article.)

Prof. Avi Loeb's latest speculation about 3I/Atlas is that it may release probes around Jupiter when it makes its closest approach, as that is at a location called the Hill radius, where Jupiter and the Sun's gravity cancel each other to create LaGrange points where satellites/probes can be placed.

I find it very significant that 3I/Atlas is approaching relatively close to Jupiter. Back in Oct 2021, I wrote about a highly classified US Space Command mission to Ganymede to greet the arrival of extraterrestrial fleets. JP (US Army ret.) did an update about his participation and the galactic diplomacy that occurred on Ganymede and Jupiter.

Other sources described a major base in the upper atmosphere of Jupiter belonging to the Ashtar Command, where galactic diplomacy meetings are regularly held.

I believe that the impending arrival of 3I/Atlas in the vicinity of Jupiter in March 2026 signals a major new round of galactic diplomacy that will occur. Very likely, humanity's reaction to 3I/Atlas will be a major topic of discussion, as ETs associated with it will participate alongside others responsible for setting the rules for our solar system in collaboration with US Space Command and its Earth allies.

Streams of molten lava flowed from Hawaii’s Kilauea volcano overnight Saturday into Sunday, ahead of another eruption expected to take shape in the coming days, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

Located in Volcanoes National Park, a massive protected area on the Big Island of Hawaii, Kilauea is among the world’s most active volcanoes. It has been erupting intermittently for almost a year now, with the next imminent episode set to be its 37th since last December.

Eruption episodes tend to be characterized by fountains of lava bursting from the ground and shooting up dramatically into the sky above Hawaii. Visitors are able to travel to the national park to view the volcanic activity themselves, as flows are confined to that area and do not threaten areas of the island with any residential homes or buildings, officials have said.

This time, fiery overflows from Kilauea’s two vents began Friday morning and continued throughout the weekend, according to USGS, which has been releasing regular updates on its progress from the Hawaiian Volcano Observatory. The agency anticipates the episode will be in full swing at some point between Sunday and Tuesday.

Jesse Watters delivered a detailed on-air statement alleging that two CIA officers informed him of what he described as a coordinated effort to condition the public to view President Donald Trump as a domestic threat.

Watters said the operation resembled a destabilization tactic designed to generate mistrust within the United States.

Watters said the individuals he spoke with described the effort as part of a broader plan.

“So I talked to two CIA officers who said that this is a part of a larger hoax, and what they’re doing here is they’re trying to condition the country to prepare for something bad that’s about to happen at the hands of Donald Trump. It’s straight out of the CIA playbook. It’s a destabilization operation where you get people to mistrust each other,” Watters said.

He said the operation followed a recognizable sequence.

“And you do this because she’s an analyst. And as an analyst, she would make sure what propaganda operations were successful which ones weren’t, so she knows what works,” Watters said.

He described the structure he believed was present in the messaging.

“So the first part of the video, you establish authority. I’m CIA. I’m military. You need to trust us. Second part of the video, they introduced the threat, and the threat is not foreign. The threat is domestic. The threat is Donald Trump. And then at the end, they introduce the solution. What’s the solution? You resist. You say no, but they don’t give an option. They say, this is an obligation for you to do.”

Watters said the individual featured in the video was being directed by others.

“Now she is being run because she didn’t come up with this herself. She’s a Brennan acolyte, and you usually don’t have congressmen and senators doing anything together. They kind of hate each other, so in order to organize this, this had to have had some sort of handler telling her what to do,” he said.

He argued that the effort carried significant risk.

“And it was risky, because nothing like this has ever been done in the history of the country, and you can even tell, because the media was skeptical and they couldn’t answer the question, so they hadn’t even been read in on the operation. You see them fumbling and stumbling,” Watters said.

Watters also commented on a military review connected to the matter.

“And I’m glad that the US military is now investigating this guy, Kelly, because this is what we expect from Donald Trump. To point out you can’t have the deep state interfering with a duly elected presidency and get away with it. You got to draw the line in the sand, and you have to make examples out of people.”

Pressure intensifies on trapped Hamas terrorists in eastern Rafah, with arrested terrorists revealing bodies in the tunnels below, as the IDF eliminates those attempting to flee above ground and works to seal the remaining underground pockets.

Pressure is mounting relentlessly on the remaining Hamas terrorists hiding in the vast underground tunnel networks beneath eastern Rafah, as Israeli forces intensify their operations both above and below ground.

Arrested terrorists interrogated by Israeli forces have provided critical intelligence, revealing a dire situation underground, including the presence of multiple bodies of fallen comrades.

The time is rapidly running out for the terrorists trapped in these subterranean networks. Just this morning (Wednesday), six terrorists were identified emerging from the underground infrastructure in an attempt to flee, four were eliminated, and two were captured.

This follows the elimination of five other terrorists who attempted the same escape earlier. The IDF confirmed that the terrorists were successfully targeted and that searches are ongoing in the area.

Gruesome Discovery Under Interrogation

Critical information about the conditions underground was exposed during the interrogation of six terrorists arrested by the IDF last week after they emerged from the tunnels. They recounted the harrowing scene below ground:

The IDF estimates that approximately half of the terrorists originally entrenched in this specific area have now been eliminated. So far, the IDF has eliminated around 30 terrorists above ground in the vicinity of the tunnel network.

However, several senior terrorist commanders, including company and battalion-level leaders, are assessed to still be alive inside. The IDF is continuing to apply pressure to force their surrender and exit.

New counter-drone tech in ‘final stages’ for use in Romania, chief of Army’s Europe mission says

STUTTGART, Germany — New counter-drone technology will soon be operational in Romania, the top U.S. Army commander in Europe said this week on the heels of yet another suspected Russian incursion into the country’s airspace.

“We have tested it, and it is in the final stages of being employed,” U.S. Army Europe and Africa’s Gen. Christopher Donahue said Tuesday during a stop at Mihail Kogalniceanu Air Base, where he also met with American troops.

Donahue was likely alluding to the new Merops system, which has been billed as a cost-effective technology using artificial intelligence to navigate, detect and down opposing drones.

Last week, Polish and Romanian troops practiced alongside Americans using the weapon, which has already been battle-tested by Ukrainian troops in combat.

Donahue’s stop came on the heels of a Pentagon announcement last month that the U.S. is reducing its troop numbers in Romania.

The decision involved an end to the rotation of a U.S. Army brigade to the Black Sea region, which had been part of a broader buildup in Europe in the aftermath of Russia’s 2022 full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

As a result of the decision, about 700 soldiers who had been positioned in Romania were not backfilled following their recently finished deployment. The U.S. still has about 1,000 troops based in the country, however.

“Romania will always be the central feature of this part of the alliance,” Donahue said, adding that “the U.S. is committed” to its military presence in the Black Sea country.

His comments came the same day NATO jets were scrambled in response to a violation of Romanian airspace by a drone emanating from neighboring Ukraine, the Romanian defense ministry said in a statement.

Two German Eurofighter Typhoons took off from the air base to monitor the situation, the ministry said. Romanian fighter planes also took flight in response.

A drone traveled about 60 miles into Romania, according to the statement. “We are dealing with a new Russian provocation against Romania, a drone which the Romanian army and German Eurofighters have tried to shoot down,” Defense Minister Ionut Mosteanu said, as quoted by Reuters.

“My assumption is that (the pilots) analyzed the potential collateral damage and … chose not to engage.”

Fragments of the suspected Russian drone were later found on Romanian territory. There have been numerous drone incursions into Romania during the Russia-Ukraine war. Poland also has faced such intrusions.

Mihail Kogalniceanu Air Base, referred to as “MK” by U.S. troops, has long served as a hub for American forces in the Black Sea region.

Romania has invested billions into the facility over the years with the aim of boosting NATO members’ troop presence in the country.
