Children missing from residential care exposed to sexual exploitation

Vulnerable children in state care are going missing from their residential units at alarming rates with many exposed to sexual and criminal exploitation, including through organised rings of predators.

An inquiry by the Victorian Commission for Children and Young People found those who went missing from state care were often stigmatised as “rotten” or “streetwise” rather than vulnerable.

It found their exposure to sexual and criminal exploitation, and other serious harms, was poorly reported and met with an inadequate and inconsistent response by child protection, residential care providers and Victoria Police.

Residential units house the state’s most traumatised and vulnerable children who cannot live with their parents or find a place in foster or kinship care. There are about 450 children in residential care on any given night.

Commissioner for Children and Young People Liana Buchanan said young people said they were leaving residential care units because they didn’t feel physically safe or connected to their unit.

“As a direct consequence of the fact that we don’t have a fit-for-purpose model for caring for these children, they are in large numbers leaving care, and ultimately becoming victims experiencing some of the worst forms of harm that we can imagine.”

In the 18 months to March 31, 2020, 388 warrants per month were granted, on average, authorising police to take children absent or missing from residential care into “safe custody”.

Over the inquiry period, 37 per cent of residential care absent client incident reports (870) referred to “sexual exploitation”.

On June 23, 2021, McAfee was found dead in his Barcelona prison cell in Brians 2 Penitentiary Center, hours after the Spanish National Court ordered his extradition to the United States on criminal charges filed in Tennessee by the Justice Department’s tax division.[6] His death has sparked internet conspiracy theories in a similar manner to "Epstein didn't kill himself".[112] The Catalan Justice Department said in a statement that "everything indicates" McAfee took his own life;[113][62][114] however on multiple occasions before his death McAfee asserted that if he were ever to be found dead by hanging it would mean he was murdered.[115][116][117] On the day of his death, an image of a Q was posted to his Instagram feed, possibly in reference to theQAnon Conspiracy theory.

U.S. finance charges, arrest in Spain and planned extradition

In January 2019, McAfee announced that he was on the run from U.S. authorities, and living internationally on a boat following the convening of a Grand Jury to indict him, his wife, and four of his 2020 Presidential campaign workers on tax-related charges.[100] The IRS has not independently confirmed the existence of these charges.[100]

On October 5, 2020, McAfee was arrested in Spain at the request of the U.S. Department of Justice for tax evasion. The indictment alleges he earned millions of dollars from 2014–18, but has failed to file income tax returns.[101]

Makow comment- Mathis is a brilliant and prolific writer. Although his claims that many sensational murders were faked seem outlandish, his assertions about modern culture are credible. As a Ph.D. in literature, I always felt modern culture was fraudulent. This confirms it. I feel betrayed by the education system and society. A highly organized satanic cult has re-cast Western society in its image. Contrary views are not funded or publicized. Sometimes you lose your livelihood. Another example of de facto Communism, and how we have been unwittingly inducted into a satanic cult.
