Joe Biden’s senior advisor Anita Dunn said that the coronavirus was “the best that ever happened” to Joe Biden, alluding to the impact of the pandemic on the voting public.

The remark will appear in Lucky: How Joe Biden Barely Won the Presidency by Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes, which will hit the bookstores on March 2. It’s the first major book released on the 2020 presidential contest. The Guardian obtained a copy prior to publication and found the quote. “It was, the authors add, a necessarily private comment that ‘campaign officials believed but would never say in public.'”

That private thinking reflects what many political analysts said at the time, that the rampant pandemic undermined then-President Donald Trump’s solid economic achievements and standing in national and battleground state opinion polls.

But the comments could be seized on by Biden’s critics that his campaign used the suffering of the public in the opportunistic pursuit of power.

Prominent human-rights organizations around the world have slammed the UN practice for endangering the lives of dissidents and their families.

In comments to The Epoch Times, Reilly described it as “criminal” and even argued that it made the UN “complicit in genocide.”

Turkish Arms Trafficker Suspected Of Supplying Sarin To Syrian Militants Dies In Mysterious Circumstances

A Turkish arms trafficker who supported militants in Syria and even fought along them early in the conflict has died, Topwar.ru reported on February 24.

The outlet said Heisem Topalca, also known as the “Ghost Commander,” has been smuggling arms to militants in Syria since the outbreak of the war in 2011.

“On February 10, at about 9 pm, a passenger car in which Topalca was with several escorts collided with a truck with license plate 06 KH 8433 on the road near the [Turkish] city of Konya, near the village of Merdivenli,” Topwar wrote describing the accident which claimed the life of Topalca. “After interrogating the truck driver, the police released him, and the bodies of the dead were buried the same day in Hatay province.”

The real name of Topalca is reportedly “Heisem Kassap.” In Syria, the trafficker came to be knonw by his nom de guerre “Abu Salah.”

Topalca was wanted by Turkish authorities for a number of criminal cases. Several arrest warrants were issued against him, yet he was moving freely within Turkey and along the border with Syria.

According to Ahval News, Topalca was suspected of supplying Sarin gas to Syrian militants in Idlib. The Sarin supplied by him may have been used to stage the chemical attack in the town of Khan Shaykhun on April 4 of 2017.

From 2011 to 2014, Topalca made a total of 873 tribes to Syria, where he worked with the Free Syrian Army and the al-Nusra Front [now known as Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham]. Topalca was possibly involved in the activities of the Turkish secret service in Syria.

The circumstances surrounding Topalca’s death indicate that he may have been murdered in order to prevent him from revealing anything related to his work in Syria.

There is no way to have a 'runaway' convention of states. It's not a 'constitutional convention' that's intentional mislabeling to fear monger.

The people making this argument are afraid of the control we would regain after a successful convention of states.

The convention has to have a clear mandate at the outset to gather support from other states to even conveine. They can't change the agenda after it's started, that's more fear mongering disinformation.

If we did get the support to conviene a convention of states and an amendment proposal was arrived at it would then go to the states to ratify and that takes 3/4 or 34 states. Since 29 states are run by GOP governors the chances of an amendment that somehow helps the Dems and weakens the constitution is pretty much impossible.

The people pushing this 'runaway' idea have been doing so for years in hopes they can scare the public into leaving the corrupt system alone so they can continue to abuse it.
