Coming back from 5 days in Tahiti is tail number N998PB. Another ultra high dollar 2014 GULFSTREAM G650ER (extended range). Looks to be headed for the SF Bay area. Registered to those wonderful people at BANK OF UTAH TRUSTEE with flight plans hidden from public view. So we can only guess who owns it or where it is going. We mentioned the visit to Queenstown of Gulfstream G650 N998PB a few days ago following the extended range variant arriving on the morning of 16 August after a direct flight from Los Angeles. The aircraft has departed New Zealand making its way from Queenstown to Christchurch late afternoon 21 August for a less than one hour stopover before departing on a direct, planned 12hr 25min flight to Moffett Field, CA. Its brief visit to Christchurch coincided with the arrival of EC145 N145LL which is operated from the owners motor yacht "Serene" and was first noted in NZ waters last month.

N998PB has ventured to the South Pacific on two other known occasions. On 03 July the aircraft arrived at Noumea direct from its Moffett Field, CA base and departed for home two days later. A month later, on 04 August, it arrived at Nadi from Moffett Field and returned northbound 07 August.

As a correction to our earlier post on the subject,the 998 of the Gulfstream's registration relates to the month and year of Google's inception - September 1998.Thanks, as always, to Larkair for this clarification.

Another Moffett Field based jet associated with the operator of N998PB has been south of the equator recently with Gulfstream G550 N813QS arriving at Suva from its home base on 17 August and heading home from Nadi late 20 August.

This "coincidentally" appeared just as I was thinking to comment about how we are being terrorized by an "infectious disease pandemic" despite decades of the most massive and aggressive vaccine schedule in human history.

If our current approach to "health" which begins with dozens of doses of infant and child vaccinations is doing us good, then why the "heck" are we being terrorized by a "cold virus"?!

This definition, which was adopted by the IHRA in 2016 and has been promoted to governments worldwide, includes several examples of what it describes as “contemporary” antisemitism—including “denying the Jewish people their right to self-determination, e.g., by claiming that the existence of a State of Israel is a racist endeavor” and “applying double standards” to Israel—that can be interpreted to define much criticism of Israel, Israeli policies, or Zionism as antisemitism.

This letter represents the latest front in the battle to use the IHRA definition to officially exclude criticism of Israel from the bounds of acceptable discourse. It was spearheaded by pro-Israel attack dog StopAntisemitism.org, which is funded by hardline pro-Israel philanthropists Adam and Gila Milstein. The group is perhaps best known for publicly labeling critics of Israel, including some Jews, as antisemites.

[Editor’s note: Adam Milstein has dual citizenship with Israel and served in the Israeli military. In 2009 he was convicted for tax fraud. He has also funded propaganda against Congress member Ilhan Omar.]

So far, the list of signatories to the Facebook letter is a “who’s who” of right-wing groups dedicated to defending Israel from criticism [see list below], many of which are also funded by or associated with the Milsteins; in The Jerusalem Post, a former Israeli Knesset member who is associated with one of the signatories credited the Milsteins’ foundation with initiating the campaign.

Their effort enjoys the public backing of the Israeli government: Israel’s new Minister of Strategic Affairs, Orit Farkash-Hacohen, told the Post, “I welcome the initiative and call on more bodies and organizations to join the clear demand for change.”

Yet, as attorney Kenneth Stern—an expert on antisemitism who was the lead drafter on the text that became the IHRA definition—has repeatedly expressed, this definition and its examples were never intended to be used as a formalized, enforceable definition of antisemitism, and turning them into one has raised serious free speech concerns.

The American Civil Liberties Union described early efforts to codify the IHRA into law as “part of a disturbing surge of government-led attempts to suppress the speech of people on only one side of the Israel-Palestine debate . . . on college campuses, in state contracts, and even in bills to change the federal law.”

If social media networks like Facebook adopt the Israel-related examples in the IHRA definition and allow these to guide their hate speech policies, it will likely lead to similar efforts to suppress free speech, this time in the online sphere.

So far, Facebook has responded to the letter by changing its policy regarding hate speech in ways it says take the IHRA definition into account, but it has resisted adopting the IHRA definition in its entirety. On August 11th, Facebook announced that it had updated its hate speech policy “to more specifically account for certain kinds of implicit hate speech, such as . . . stereotypes about Jewish people controlling the world.”

In a response sent to to the letter’s signatories, Monika Bickert—Facebook’s vice president of content policy—noted that the company had used the IHRA definition “in informing [its] own approach and definitions,” that its new policy “draws on the spirit—and the text—of the IHRA,” and that under Facebook’s policy, “Jews and Israelis are treated as ‘protected characteristics.’”

Fish names specific political groups as enemies in this ideas war: Jewish Voice for Peace, Students for Justice in Palestine, and "white supremacists."

She goes on to recommend small steps, like changing the term anti-Semitism to "Jew-hatred" in broader discourse.

Who Will Stand Up For Free Speech?

All of this was tied together by ADL operative Dave Sifry, who is leading the Zionist organization's "Center for Technology and Society Initiative" – the body behind the massive crackdown on internet free speech over social media.

Sifry andthe ADL seek to use clear cut unethical activity like "swatting," "doxing" (which Jewish groups themselves constantly engage in), and revenge porn as a shoehorn for broader policing of legitimate political speech.

According to Sifry, the ADL is at the cutting edge of figuring out ways to shut down speech critical of Jews and their political interests online before it can even be read.

Hackers Leak Alleged Internal Documents Of China’s Social Media Surveillance

A hacking group claims to have breached three Chinese tech companies responsible for the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) social media surveillance Saturday, with the group attempting to blast leaked documents across social media.

The hacking group, CCP Unmasked, says it infiltrated the Knowlesys, Yunrun Big Data Service, and OneSight data firms, VICE reported. The group attempted to send the information out via its Twitter account, but the platform suspended their account under its policy against hacked documents.

“We think the public deserves to know about the CCP’s attempts to undermine democracy and freedom of expression,” the hackers said in an email to VICE.

“We don’t want to become the story and we want to protect ourselves. But we can tell you that we hacked the companies,” the hackers added. “And that we did it because we think the CCP’s desire to put out fake news and interfere with democracy needs to be challenged.”

The leaked documents allegedly show a presentation by Knowlesys regarding one of its products called the “Intelligence Center,” which allows governments to track what “the opposition party” talks about and does on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and elsewhere.

Such surveillance is reportedly critical for China’s ongoing social credit system, in which citizens are assigned a rank based on how closely their lives adhere to ideals put forward by the CCP. Citizens’ social media activity is a major part of a person’s assigned credit.

The Chinese government announced the new social credit initiative in fall 2017, penalizing people for criminal behavior as well as what they buy, do, and say. The country implemented President Xi Jinping’s policy of “once untrustworthy, always restricted” approach to social engineering.

“It will forge a public opinion environment where keeping trust is glorious,” the country’s policy announcement stated. “It will strengthen sincerity in government affairs, commercial sincerity, social sincerity and the construction of judicial credibility.”

The system assigns users values between 350 and 950 points, based on five factors: credit history, ability to fulfill a contract, personal characteristics, behavior and preference, and social relationships — most of which can be tracked via social media.

A Jewish pediatrician who was convicted of possessing and distributing some 190,000 child pornography videos and images can serve as a medical supervisor at the Health Ministry’s student health services department, an Israeli court ruled last week:

"Avraham Barkai will be able to pay visits to schools but not treat children in his new position, which a panel of judges at the Nazareth Regional Labor Court determined that he should be allowed to fill, going against the recommendation of the Civil Service Commission.

Barkai was convicted in 2011 of being part of an international child pornography distribution ring and later sentenced to 18 months behind bars. However, the punishment was reduced on appeal to six months of community service, a nine-month suspended sentence and a NIS 20,000 ($5,690) fine.

For over a year up to his conviction, but after he had already been charged, Barkai continued to practice at a Haifa clinic of the Meuhedet HMO after a Health Ministry disciplinary committee ruled that he could continue to see children as long as a parent or nurse was in the room.

The disciplinary committee went on to rule that despite the charges, Barkai did not pose a danger to children as he had not been accused of physical acts against minors. As a result, it ruled that the pediatrician’s license should only be stripped for two years, and by July 2013 Barkai got his license back….

However, senior officials in the Health Ministry have come to Barkai’s defense. In 2014, the Health Ministry’s senior vice president of Administration and Human Resources, Dov Passat, submitted a letter to the disciplinary committee asserting that there should be nothing preventing Barkai from applying for tenders for positions as a pediatrician. The letter was submitted by Barkai as an official position of the Health Ministry to the Petah Tivka Magistrate’s Court, which ruled in 2018 that he be granted an exemption from the ban on employing convicted sex offenders as he does not pose a risk to the public, even if he works as a pediatrician.

In late 2018, a medical board voted unanimously to award Barkai a position as medical supervisor at the Health Ministry’s student health services department in the northern district. The Civil Service Commission subsequently interfered and blocked the appointment, stating in a 2019 hearing that “while the job at hand does not require clinical care for children, its core is oversight of student services and some of its assignments take place on school grounds and during the school day… Taking into account the nature of the offenses of which Dr. Barkai was convicted, [granting him this position] can greatly damage the image of the Civil Service Commission and the public’s confidence in its institutions.” "
