Republican National Committee lambastes VP Harris for visiting Pittsburgh instead of border
The Republican National Committee on Monday reacted to Vice President Kamala Harris’ Pittsburgh visit regarding “Child Tax Credit Awareness Day” and President Joe Biden’s infrastructure plan. “Border facilities are critically overcrowded, but President Biden and his border manager — Vice President Harris — refuse to visit the scene,” Keith Rothfus, the former U.S. House member from Sewickley, said in a roughly 20-minute press call. “Instead, the vice president continues her ‘everywhere but the border’ tour here in Pennsylvania today.” He was joined by Republican Party of Pennsylvania Vice Chair Bernie Comfort and RNC Director of Regional Communications Chris Walker. On March 24, Biden announced Harris would lead the administration’s efforts to “deter migration to the southwestern border by working to improve conditions in Central America,” according to the New York Times. Harris has yet to personally visit the border, which Rothfus said he believes is currently a “humanitarian disaster.”

Arizona Secretary of State Hobbs Refuses to Accept 24,000 Signatures for Speaker Bowers Recall
A petition for the recall of Arizona Speaker Bowers was refused by the Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs.
The Group America Restored share the following message:
America Restored reported in a press release today that the Arizona Patriot Party with the support of America Restored coalition partners, collected and turned in 24,551 signatures to the Arizona Secretary of State yesterday to recall Arizona Speaker of the House Rusty Bowers, which was 10% over the 22,331 signatures required.
That afternoon the Arizona Secretary of State office notified the recall applicant and the filing committee chairperson, Arizona Patriot Party President Steve Daniels that their office was rejecting all 24,551 signatures.
“The people have spoken,” President of the Arizona Patriot Party Steve Daniels said, “but they continue to silence our voices.”
Daniels said what they accomplished was unmatched given the resistance that they faced during the process. Daniels was recently arrested for trespassing at a Chandler School Board meeting among a crowd of over a hundred protesters, which Daniels believes was “politically motivated.”
The rationale for the denial from Hobbs is unknown currently and the group America Restored is now looking at their legal options.
The Group was upset after spending hours in the hot Arizona weather to obtain the signatures for the recall.

Bitcoin slumps further as China tightens crypto crackdown
Bitcoin tumbled on Monday to a two-week low on China's expanding crackdown on bitcoin mining, as investors grew more uncertain about the future of the leading cryptocurrency.
Bitcoin fell as low as $31,333, a two-week trough, dragging down other cryptocurrencies. It was last down 10.7%, its largest daily percentage loss in a month. The world's biggest cryptocurrency has lost more than 20% in the last six days alone and was at half its April peak of almost $65,000. Year to date, it remained up about 11%.
Some bitcoin investors were concerned further losses could be in store due to a chart formation known as a death cross which occurs when a short-term average trendline crosses below a long-term average trendline. read more
China has been tightening its crackdown on cryptocurrencies. On Friday, authorities in the southwest province of Sichuan ordered bitcoin mining projects to close. read more Last month the State Council, China's cabinet, vowed to clamp down on mining and trading as part of a campaign to control financial risks.
On Monday, China's central bank said it recently summoned some banks and payment firms, including China Construction Bank (601939.SS) and Alipay, urging them to crack down harder on cryptocurrency trading. Data on mining is scarce. Yet bitcoin in China accounted last year for about 65% of global production, according to data from the University of Cambridge, with Sichuan its second-biggest producer. Agricultural Bank of China (AgBank), China's third-largest lender by assets, (601288.SS) said separately it was following the People's Bank of China's guidance and would conduct due diligence on clients to root out illegal activities involving crypto mining and transactions. read more
Alipay, the ubiquitous payment platform owned by fintech giant Ant Group, said in a separate statement it would set up a regulator monitoring system targeting key websites and accounts to detect illegal crypto-related transactions. read more
In other cryptocurrencies, ether , the token used for the Ethereum blockchain, dropped to a five-week low of $1,890. It was last down 14.3% at $1,922.05.
Also on Monday, auction house Sotheby's announced that a rare pear-shaped diamond that is expected to fetch up to $15 million can be bought at an auction next month using cryptocurrencies. It would be the first time a diamond of such size has been offered for public purchase with cryptocurrency.

Exclusive — Nellis Air Force Base Hosts First-Ever Drag Queen Show: ‘Essential to the Morale, Readiness’
The Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada recently hosted its first-ever drag queen show at one of its on-base dining and entertainment clubs, according a base spokesperson. Nellis Air Force Base said in an email statement to Breitbart News: Nellis Air Force Base and the 99th Air Base Wing hosted its first-ever drag show Thursday, June 17, at the Nellis Club. The event was sponsored by a private organization and provided an opportunity for attendees to learn more about the history and significance of drag performance art within the LGBT+ community.
Ensuring our ranks reflect and are inclusive of the American people is essential to the morale, cohesion, and readiness of the military. Nellis Air Force Base is committed to providing and championing an environment that is characterized by equal opportunity, diversity and inclusion.
The drag queen show came to light after Air Force veteran podcaster “BK” posted a digital flyer for the event that read: “DRAG-U-NELLIS” and “CLASS IS IN SESSION.” “Discover the significance of Drag in the LGBT+ Community at the Nellis Club,” it said. It was scheduled for Friday, June 17, at 5 p.m. and “Sponsored by the Nellis Top 3.”
So @NellisAFB is having a base-sanctioned drag Queen show; isn’t that awesome?
Maybe some of our military “journalists” can call them up and ask them about this. 🙄 pic.twitter.com/CJdGjpuun9 — BKactual (@BravoKiloActual) June 18, 2021
The “Top 3” at Nellis Air Force Base is a social and professional organization established to “enhance the morale, esprit de corps, of all enlisted personnel assigned to the Wing and to facilitate cooperation between members of the top three enlisted grades,” according to its private Facebook page.
“The base Top III will provide a forum for its members to meet, share personal experiences and expertise, and assist one another. It may function as an added channel of communication within the chain of command, between the commander, and the enlisted force on Nellis AFB,” it said. One person who attended the drag queen show posted on her social media account, “Had a fun night … at a drag Queen show at nellis afb last night.”
The Nellis Club, according to the Nellis Force Support Squadron website, is a consolidated club offering a “versatile dining and entertainment experience for all its members.”
“We now serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a midnight meal from Mon – Fri as well as brunch, dinner, and a midnight meal on Sat, Sun, Holidays, and Family Days. All meals are open to Essential Meal Card Holders! There is something for everyone to enjoy here at your Nellis Club, come give us a try,” it said.
Nellis Air Force Base is home to the service’s Warfare Center where Air Force pilots undergo the most demanding advanced air combat training in the country. “The crews do not come to learn how to fly, but instead how to be the best combat aviators in the world,” the base website said.

Hubble Trouble? NASA Says Space Telescope's Computer "Halted"
The Hubble Space Telescope remains offline as efforts by NASA to bring its payload computer back online have failed.
NASA revealed the 31-year old space telescope had its payload computer "halted" on June 13 at 1600 ET. It's been more than a week since the low Earth orbit telescope, orbiting at an altitude of 340 miles, has been offline, even though NASA personnel have tried on multiple attempts to restart the computer. "Initial indications pointed to a degrading computer memory module as the source of the computer halt. When the operations team attempted to switch to a backup memory module, however, the command to initiate the backup module failed to complete. Another attempt was conducted on both modules Thursday evening to obtain more diagnostic information while again trying to bring those memory modules online. However, those attempts were not successful," NASA said.
The payload computer is intended to send a "keep-alive" signal to the main computer on the satellite, but that isn't happening, causing the automatic safety system to place all sensors into safe mode configuration. The Hubble will remain in safe mode until NASA fixes the payload computer.
There have been other recent malfunctions of the aging space telescope. Earlier this year, bad code resulted in the satellite entering safe mode. The last in-flight fix occurred during 2009's STS 125 service mission when Space Shuttle Atlantis ferried parts to upgrade the satellite.
If NASA cannot restart the Hubble, it may be doomed.
A SpaceX mission would be unlikely to carry astronauts to service the space telescope mainly because the $10 billion James Webb Space Telescope will be launched in November 2021. The Hubble trouble also follows the Russians set to pull out of the International Space Station in 2025 as the end of lifespan for the space station is 2030.
America's space assets are aging. Meanwhile, China has launched a space station of its own.

Former Deutsche Bank Commodities Trader Sentenced to Prison for Fraud Scheme
A former commodities trader was sentenced today in the Northern District of Illinois to 12 months and a day in prison for a scheme to commit wire fraud affecting a financial institution.
James Vorley, 41, of the United Kingdom, was convicted by a federal jury on Sept. 25, 2020. Based on the evidence presented at trial, Vorley, who was employed as a precious metals trader at Deutsche Bank in London, engaged in a scheme to defraud other traders on the Commodity Exchange Inc., which was a public exchange. The defendant, together with Cedric Chanu and other Deutsche Bank traders, defrauded other market participants through a deceptive trading practice known as “spoofing.” Specifically, Vorley placed fraudulent orders that he did not intend to execute in order to create the false appearance of supply and demand and to induce other traders to transact at prices, quantities, and times that they otherwise would not have traded. Chanu is scheduled to be sentenced on June 28.
Acting Assistant Attorney General Nicholas L. McQuaid of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division and Assistant Director in Charge William Sweeney of the FBI’s New York Field Office made the announcement.
The FBI’s New York Field Office investigated the case.
Deputy Chief Brian Young, Acting Principal Assistant Chief Avi Perry, and Trial Attorney Leslie S. Garthwaite of the Criminal Division’s Fraud Section are prosecuting the case.

Everything suggests that the American bonds seized at Chiasso (Italy) are real
Four weeks have passed since American bonds were confiscated from two Japanese who were travelling on a direct train to Chiasso, Switzerland, and while there has been clarification of some points, very few, Italian authorities have remained silent on the rest of the episode.
In addition, a strange coincidence in the timing of the arrest of a director of an internet radio who had made revelations regarding the incident increases the already strong oddities surrounding the case. This added to the revaluation of the fact that among the evidence seized there were "Kennedy Bond" all points toward the authenticity of the items seized by the Guardia di Finanza (GdF) in early June.
The major English-speaking newspapers ignored the story for a couple of weeks. They only started to report on it after the Bloomberg agency carried a story on 18 / 6, in which a spokesman for the Treasury, Meyerhardt, declared that the bonds, based on photos available on the Internet, were "clearly false." The same day, the Financial Times (FT) published an article whose title laid the blame for the (alleged) infringement at the feet of the Italian Mafia, despite the fact that the article failed to make even one possible connection with the episode in Chiasso. Nevertheless, the version of events as reported in FT was taken up by others as being "appropriate" (given that it is a very common cliché about Italy and it is a sequester that took place in Italy) and in the end "colourful." It’s a pity that it goes against all logic: that the Mafia tried to pass unnoticed in its attempt to dump fake bonds amounting to 134.5 billion dollars and moreover were to "stung" a mere step from their gaol, is not very credible.
Most recently last week, 25 / 6, the New York Times reported on the story in particular, the allegations of CIA spokesman, Darrin Blackford: the U.S. Secret Service carried out inspections, as required by the Italian judiciary, and found that they were fictitious financial instruments, never issued by the “U.S. government”. It is not clear, however, how the checks mentioned Blackford were carried out and whether they were also are carried out via internet. According to official Italian sources, in fact, the Commission of American experts, expected in Italy, have yet to arrive. Furthermore, the bonds were accompanied by a recent and original bank record. It is therefore unclear how the U.S. authorities can declare fake documentation that does not originate from the Fed or the U.S. Department of Treasury.
On the contrary, claims in support of the bond’s authenticity were made 20 / 6 on the Turner Radio Network (TRN), an independent radio station broadcast via Internet. On that date in a massive exposure, TRN stated that the two Japanese arrested by the Guardia di Finanza (GdF) and then released in Ponte Chiasso were employees of the Japanese Ministry for Treasury. AsiaNews had also received similar reports: one of the two Japanese arrested in Chiasso and then released is Tuneo Yamauchi, brother of Toshiro Muto, until recently vice governor of the Bank of Japan. On its website, the creator and presenter of Radio, Hal Turner, had also claimed that his sources had revealed that the Italian authorities believe the evidence to be authentic and that the two Japanese officials are from the Japanese Ministry for Finance. They were supposed to bring the bonds to Switzerland because the Japanese government had apparently lost confidence in U.S. ability to repay its debt. Japanese financial authorities therefore were trying to sell a part of the securities in their possession through parallel channels ahead of an imminent financial disaster, thanks to the anonymity which, Turner said, is guaranteed by the laws of Switzerland.
AsiaNews does not know to what extent Turner’s revelations can be held as credible, given that in this case too, it is difficult to believe that $ 134.5 billion would pass unnoticed anywhere in the world. It seems far more logical to assume that the bonds, if authentic, were directed to the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, BIS, the central bank of central banks ahead of the issuance of securities in a new supranational currency. Turner had in any event added that as evidence of his support of his revelations he would have provided the serial numbers of the seized bonds. Before it could do so, however, was imprisoned. Hal Turner is the journalist who long ago first broke the news of a secret plan to replace the dollar, after a severe financial crisis, with a common North American currency, the Amero.

In a dramatic phone call from inside the prison in which he is detained pending trial, relayed via internet, Hal Turner claims that his arrest is political and it is in relation to securities seized in Chiasso, because the authorities are terrorized by his revelations regarding the bonds’ authenticity. Of course, the allegations made against him have to nothing to do with the story and thus an already intricate story becomes increasingly complex. Turner maintains that he did not personally formulate the disclosure for which he has been imprisoned. Although it was clearly his responsibility to remain vigilant, it is also true that blogs from around the world and the U.S. themselves are full of threats and provocations. The coincidental timing, the unusual diligence and the details of his arrest arouse suspicions about the true motives of the American federal police. Indeed, this very arrest suggests that the evidence seized from GdF are truly authentic.

The coincidental timing, the unusual diligence and the details of his arrest arouse suspicions about the true motives of the American federal police. Indeed, this very arrest suggests that the evidence seized from GdF are truly authentic.
One more element in favour of the bond’s authenticity is found in the securities, which in the June 4 statement, the GdF termed "Kennedy Bonds” with photos provided. These photos reveal that the securities under discussion are not bonds but Treasury Notes, because they are securities that can be immediately exchanged for their worth in goods or services and because they are devoid of interest coupons. One side carries a reproduction of the image of the American president, the reverse side that of a spaceship. From confidential, usually well-informed sources, AsiaNews has learned that this type of paper money was issued less than ten years ago (in 1998), although it is difficult to know whether those seized in Chiasso are authentic. But the fact that the release of this particular State Treasury was not completely in the public domain tends to exclude the possibility of counterfeiting. It highly unreasonable to suppose that a forger would reproduce a State Treasury not commonly in circulation and of which there is no public knowledge. For this reason, it can be concluded that the 124.5 billion dollars divided in 249 bonds of 500 million each are authentic. These titles, although referred to as "Federal Reserve Notes" are actually bonds, because they accrue interest and are redeemable at maturity. But one question remains unsolved regarding them. It is somewhat hard to understand why the securities, which were from the outset indistinguishable from the original to the GdF, all have their coupons. Any ordinary investor, even a state, would have cashed in the interest coupon every year, so as not to lose purchasing power.

Cancer: The Forbidden Cures
92 minutes, pub. Jun 9 2021
Rumble — REVIEW BY DAVID BONELLO – INTERNATIONAL WELLNESS DIRECTORY
Not what it seems. When I popped in the DVD, I went to the chapters to see what they were. I felt, no, not again…the same old stuff.
What a pleasant surprise. I’ve researched and written about these “forbidden” cures for years. What a delight to actually see an interview with Rene Caisse. We even see a party thrown for Rene a year before she died filled with people whom she had helped with their cancers.
Harry Hoxsey shows up, and you get to see scenes from a rare movie that Hoxsey himself made in 1957 called You Don’t Have to Die. It is so rare, you can’t even find a mention of it at the Internet Movie Database.
I loved the research they did on this film. It must have taken years to compile all the archived photos, audio, and films.
They even got Morris Fishbein on film. This is the creep who ran medicine for nearly 50 years. He destroyed many people, many companies, and the damage he did to the health care system of the time killed untold numbers of suffering humans. However, the Hoxsey affair was his downfall. He was forced to resign after libeling Hoxsey and eventually had to admit that Hoxsey was curing cancer.
The section on Max Gerson was interesting, especially the deja vue section: they borrowed scenes from Dying to have Known. The scenes they used were the most powerful, the contraposed scenes of so-called medical experts proclaiming that no one has ever been cured of cancer at the Gerson clinic, juxtaposed with patients telling their story.
Finally, you’ll see some of the latest advances in alternative therapies, including a physician who is curing cancer with baking soda even after he’s lost his license to practice medicine. For you history buffs, this is a must have. For you people looking for options outside of conventional medicine, this could save your life. It is very well done and well worth a watch.

JC Tretter is the NFLPA president. Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com asks him two excellent questions (paraphrased)
Starting at 15:08
1) Is there any concern over the vaccines reportedly causing mitochondrial inflammation in males 15-30 years old since that is the age of the bulk of your membership?
2) The Cleveland Clinic has reported that natural immunity developed in those who have had Covid is better than the immunity provided through vaccines, will players who have had Covid have the same freedom from restrictions as the who have been vaccinated?

World stalemate.
We all have the goods on everyone else.
That’s part of the reason why some things that tie back to foreign heads of state will remain classified (not all).
We are in one of the most critical times of our country. Trump and others are working to balance the we’re doing well for America (for the common person to endorse) while at the same time purify our govt and remove the bad actors who are entrenched. There is so much string pulling and blackmail that we need to cut these off to truly gain the power granted to us by the Patriots and hard working people of this great country.

Army of Morder is led by the nine Nazgul
Witch king is the leader.
The Nazgûl, introduced as Black Riders and also called Ringwraiths, Dark Riders, the Nine Riders, or simply the Nine, are characters in J. R. R. Tolkien's Middle-earth. Wikipedia
Title: Dark Servants of Sauron, Lieutenants of Mordor
The Witch-King
Weapon: Morgul-blade, Sword, Dark sorcery, Fell Beast, The Witch-King
Been thinking about the plandemic and more specifically, the "vaccines", and the inscription inside the One Ring:
One ring to rule them all, one ring to find them, One ring to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them; In the Land of Mordor where the shadows lie.
Vax is like the ring or the Mark of the Beast -
presently designed to weaken or kill
later - will do more. Control mechanism for the masses.

"I'll tell you what I'd do, man... two chicks at the same time, man."
That's Lawrence... if he had a million dollars.
But what about Zuckerberg? He's got billions. I bet he's pondered it.
I suppose his wife might be taken aback, but need she be involved? (What if he wants to do a black chick and a white chick?)
He could tell her this is central to his identity, and could set it up all classy-like.
But I suspect the problem is that he's a total pussy.
He's got a well-paid gig as a hall monitor... and can't envision anything better.
It's odd, though, since he got there by playing the bad boy... which somehow earned him the right to rule us all.
We do have such lame rulers these days... if Genghis Khan wanted to do even three chicks I bet he'd just have them brought to his tent.
Take Zuck vs Fauci: they've both got status, but we all know who's master in that relationship, and it ain't Science Himself.
Still, the doc nailed the sad truth: he really is the paradigmatic scientist, a bureaucrat who cites peer-reviewed studies that claim someone did some operations on some data.
If you thought scientists work to discover the truth about nature, ok boomer, but my point is that Fauci has never been anything but a loser.
Whereas Zuck and @jack and the rest broke the rules (!) and that's why they are super cool and rich and in charge, or at least rich and in charge of the proles.
Except not long ago scientists themselves had cachet.
Take Feynman... obviously much smarter than Zuck... or Carl Sagan.
Two big ego science guys in the public eye who couldn't be more different...
Feynman disdained culture-schmulture, while Sagan had sophistication.
Feynman didn't like stuff that muddled the search for truth.
But Sagan thought the truth revealed a grand whole, that he sought to grasp and convey.
Two performers, perhaps, but in the same show.
But is there a Feynman or Sagan left today?
Or has the acclaim that goes to bigtime smart guys gravitated to tech bros who strike it big, leaving the "authority" of science to settle on the managers?
Feynman and Sagan both sought an ultimate picture, but did it include a story about how truth-loving men like themselves even exist?
For Sagan, sort of.... he discusses many pieces of cultural history and tells you which are good and which are bad.
But did he predict that universities would be overrun with liars and cowards and fools?
Maybe he got something wrong... (that said, I did like Contact).
As for Feynman, he thought much on how things came to be within his life... less so on how his life became possible within the bigger historical flow.
Before them was Bertrand Russell, maybe the first to use technical acumen as a launchpad to modern celebrity.
Early on he sought greatness, and surely achieved influence... his words turned both Gödel and Wittgenstein to new trajectories.
But that's not celebrity...
I think Lord Russell went wrong in confusing historical greatness with triumphalism.
The greats of the past are not simply markers to be reached and surpassed, but potential friends who can guide us, seeing things we don't and spurring us on.
Russell, in the heady rush of early achievement, perhaps forgot this... yet still caring about his place in history, learned to use the mass media...
And the rest is...
Henry Ford once said that history is just one damn thing after another. But that's false. History is alive... we can't just force it to be what we want (at least without repercussion) but maybe if we look, we can find what we need.
Here's my take... there are things to like about Russell and it is fun to think about symbolic logic and its uses.
But does it follow that if you're good at that, then you should dictate the lives of others?
Not to be hasty, but if we step back beyond Russell, maybe we need a bit more Nietzsche and a bit more Coleridge... all the world's indeed a stage and merely nuthin.

this is one of the things that really bothers me about the 'we must be anons' arguments pushed on qr
idealizing anonymity is like idealizing NPCs - who can easily become ORCs.
Anonymity serves a purpose - primarily a security measure imo.
It is NOT a religious tenet - and all those with power on QR are most certainly not anonymous. But they tell anons "remain anonymous."
I have no special interest in being known but have a baker name (and mod name(s)) as well. Because it serves a purpose.
Part of the purpose is to develop trust, which is necessary for bakers.
But also an asset in other ways.
Anons like Swordy, RA, others who post certain memes. Adds another dimensions, reminds us of our individuality and the individual rights for which we fight.
We do not fight to be anonymous - we fight to be ourselves.

Science turned into religion in the 1800s - we are only now seeing the degree to which this is so. Led to logical positivism which in turn is giving way to post-modernism which destroys the scientific method which had its good points, despite many limitations.
TBH, not all that interested in the personalities or panache of scientists - saw enough in academia to become disenchanted with personality cult of scientists whose work is secondary to their panache. And who morals aren't even on the board.
There are great scientists just as there are great military leaders, builders, artists, etc. But the greatness comes from something deeper, beyond what can easily be explained. Starts with competence but keeps going - into genius and beyond.
