Wisconsin Supreme Court Rules Health Departments Can't Authorize Religious, Public Schools Closures

The Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled Friday that local health officials are not authorized to ban private and religious schools from holding in-person classes during health emergencies such as the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a 4-3 ruling, the court found that Public Health Madison & Dane County infringed on constitutional religious rights, Fox6 reported.

"This has been an overreach of major proportions by a local health official who ignored the fundamental constitutional right to the free exercise of religion for parents, students, and school personnel by ordering these institutions to shut down and prohibiting in-person education," explained Thomas More Society Special Counsel Erick Kaardal. "It was a slap in the face to educational choice, an affront to families who believe that children should be in school, and a direct violation of parental rights."

Suga faces no-confidence vote on Tuesday

Japanese opposition parties will submit a vote of no confidence against Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga on Tuesday as headwinds grow over his handling of the pandemic and the Summer Olympics here.

Leaders from the Constitutional Democratic Party, the Japanese Communist Party, the Democratic Party for the People and the Social Democratic Party came to the decision on Monday after the ruling coalition rejected their request for a three-month extension to the current parliamentary session, which ends Wednesday. "The government has lost the public's confidence on numerous occasions," CDP chief Yukio Edano told reporters Monday. "The Suga government has not been able to protect the lives and livelihoods of our people," he said. This would be the first no-confidence vote submitted to Japan's lower house since June 2019. When a no-confidence vote is passed, the prime minister has 10 days to dissolve the lower house or have the entire cabinet step down. Suga had previously suggested that he would dissolve the lower house for a snap election should such a motion be submitted -- a threat that had deterred the opposition from trying.

But the ruling Liberal Democratic Party and coalition partner Komeito now plan to vote down the motion and wait until possibly the end of September to trigger a snap election, concerned that campaigning at this time could help spread the coronavirus and hinder vaccination efforts. Speaking to reporters Sunday local time after the Group of Seven summit ended in the U.K., Suga was cagey on whether he would dissolve the lower house in response to a no-confidence vote. "I will look to ensure the safety and peace of mind of as many citizens as possible," he said. "Our top priority of course is the coronavirus response," Suga said, further fueling speculation of a snap election in the fall. The prime minister is not eager to dissolve the lower at this juncture, partly also because he believes that an election held after the vaccine rollout gains steam would work in favor of the LDP. "The later the election is held, the better the environment," he has told close aides.

The cabinet's approval rating has moved inversely with Japan's COVID-19 case count. Current polling shows support at the lowest since the Suga government launched last autumn. If a lower house dissolution is pushed back, Suga could revive his approval rating by vaccinating more people and controlling the spread of infections. COVID-19 vaccinations are picking up pace. There are days when the total number of shots administered grows by more than 1 million from the previous day. Suga indicated last Wednesday during a parliamentary debate with Edano that all residents wanting shots would be vaccinated "by October or November."

If Japan continues to administer around 1 million vaccine doses per day, more than 60% of the population will have received at least one shot by the end of September, when Suga is looking to dissolve the lower house. Suga also hopes that the vaccine rollout could lift public support for the Olympics, which the majority of Japanese believe should be postponed or canceled, according to a Nikkei/TV Tokyo poll from May. "We received strong support from all G-7 leaders" for the games, Suga had told reporters in the U.K. -- a shift in tone from his previous comments that the event would not go forward if its safety could not be ensured.

Suga also said the fundamental plan was to allow a limited number of Japanese spectators to attend.

U.S. financial executive dies by suicide as firm faces fraud claims

The co-founder of a Florida financial firm facing investor lawsuits alleging securities fraud has died by suicide, and a spokesperson on Monday denied wrongdoing, saying the death was not connected to a class action lawsuit filed last week. Eric Holtz, the 54-year-old co-founder of the Seeman Holtz Family of Companies in Boca Raton, took his own life on Friday in California, the company spokesperson confirmed. Lawsuits claim that Holtz, business partner Marshal Seeman and their insurance and financial firm defrauded elderly investors in South Florida using life insurance policy-backed notes.

The most recent, a class action filed June 7 in South Florida federal court on behalf of 76-year-old Broward County resident Fanny Millstein, alleges the firm sold securities without proper licenses or external controls, resulting in unreturned funds.

The Seeman Holtz spokesperson said that the company had only learned of this lawsuit on Monday. “We deny any allegations of wrongdoing and believe this case is without merit,” he wrote. “There is no indication that Eric’s tragic passing is in any way related to this filing,” he added.

The Seeman Holtz investment notes, which the firm called “longevity linked assets,” were described as collateralized by life insurance policies issued to third parties that promised to pay a “substantial premium” upon the death of the insured, according to the class action. The notes were sold as safe and easy to cash out of at maturity, according to the lawsuit. But Millstein was told that the firm was undergoing “financial problems” and needed more time to return her money, which never happened, according to the class action. “The effects have been devastating for Plaintiff. At age 76, Fanny Millstein should not be forced to contemplate that her and her husband’s life savings invested with Seeman Holtz have vanished,” the lawsuit said.

Attorney Scott Silver, who represents plaintiffs in the class action, said his team had spoken to nearly 100 investors with similar experiences. They represent more than $100 million invested in the Seeman Holtz securities, and Silver believes the actual dollar amount is far greater. The lawsuit said the firm has been “unwilling or unable” to provide information about the value of the notes or the assets. The new class action follows similar pending lawsuits filed earlier this year by Silver and other attorneys in Palm Beach County Circuit Court. The Seeman Holtz spokesperson said the company also denies the allegations in those lawsuits.

Seeman, president of Seeman Holtz, did not respond to direct messages seeking comment.

While discussing the effects of COVID-19 on youth, Makary said, "The headlines that were not broadcast by the CDC, and the media did not cover, was that no child in that entire study died of COVID, number one."

"And number two, the hospitalization rate was lower for COVID than it was of influenza. The CDC sits on a lot of data," he continued. "And by the way, why are we getting this data from February now in June, again, with the heart-swelling complications of over 300 kids? They had that data now for three weeks; they announced it last Wednesday. They're having their emergency meeting about a week and half later."

His comments were made in reference to the CDC declaring an advisory panel will convene an emergency meeting on Friday to discuss reports of heart inflammation in adolescents who received the COVID-19 vaccine.

The CDC said 226 confirmed cases of a heart-swelling condition, called myocarditis, have been reported in people under 30 who got the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines.

Makary also said to host Steve Hilton on Sunday, "They [the CDC] sit on a lot of data, and they don't give the key data that tells us which kids are dying of COVID. If we had that data, we could target our strategy. It turns out that there's probably only been one child in the United States who has ever died of COVID, who was healthy, that is didn't have a comorbid condition."

Mercola On Convergence: Transhumanism And The Great Reset

The COVID pandemic has ushered in a new era of biodigital convergence — one that’s been in the works for decades but is now accelerating in the name of public health and new normalcy. As I said June 7, 2021, the most freedom in this new era will be awarded to those who are vaccinated.1

Speaking with The Andrew Narr Show, Tony Blair, former prime minister of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, affirmed this, stating, “It’s important to distinguish between the vaccinated and the unvaccinated. Giving the vaccinated the most amount of freedoms.”2

Freedom, however, isn’t something to be granted to you by authorities in exchange for obedience, but in this altered reality segregation between the vaccinated and unvaccinated is increasing.

Those who comply will earn their freedom back, setting the mindset that by getting vaccinated and going along with government’s industrial process you’re being enhanced, while if you do not you’re holding society back, are noncompliant and may be a threat to others. As James Corbett covers in The Corbett Report above, we’re in the midst of:3

“… the implementation of a medical martial law system presided over by unappointed, unelected, unaccountable public health authorities who now have literal control over your everyday movements, who are constructing a total surveillance grid that comes with it the prospect of not just vaccine passports but health passes generally, which will be used to restrict your ability to access public life and that you will be guilty until proven innocent of infection under this new paradigm that is being installed.”

This is only the beginning. The next step isn’t only about freedom but synthetic enhancement that will redefine what it means to be human. In all likelihood, opting in to biodigital convergence will come with rewards while resisting or rejecting will come with penalties.

‘Your Guide to the Great Convergence’

I warned about the COVID pandemic ushering in the Great Reset and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which has been in discussion since at least 20164 and “is characterized by a fusion of technologies that is blurring the lines between the physical, digital and biological spheres.”

The long-term agenda is not about COVID-19 or even the implementation of a biosecurity state but, as noted by Corbett, will be used for the extinction of homo sapiens — the end of humanity as you know it.

This isn’t conjecture. The notion of transhumanism is being actively researched and explored. In an article titled “Looking Forward to the End of Humanity,” The Wall Street Journal noted that COVID-19 “has spotlighted the promise and peril of ‘transhumanism,’ the idea of using technology to overcome sickness, aging and death.”5

It talks about the need for “technological protection” to protect our species from being wiped out from nuclear war, asteroid collision, a technological accident or a pandemic. The problem is that, in so doing, humans are no longer “human,” at least, not the way you think of them now. According to The Wall Street Journal:6

“Ultimately, however, the hope is that we won’t just use computers — we’ll become them. Today, cognitive scientists often compare the brain to hardware and the mind to the software that runs on it. But a software program is just information, and in principle there’s no reason why the information of consciousness has to be encoded in neurons.

The Human Connectome Project, launched in 2009 by the National Institutes of Health, describes itself as ‘an ambitious effort to map the neural pathways that underlie human brain function.’ If those pathways could be completely mapped and translated into digital 0s and 1s, the data could be uploaded to a computer, where it could survive indefinitely.”

The human/computer metaphor was also used in a 2017 TED talk by Dr. Tal Zaks, chief medical officer at Moderna, who referred to mRNA technology as “the software of life.”7 Moderna, which was founded on the concept of being able to modify human biological function through genetic engineering, went on to develop one of the mRNA COVID-19 vaccines being pushed in the mass vaccination campaign.

The potentially permanent modification of humans is an existential threat to the human species, according to Corbett, yet hardly anyone is talking about it.

“Guilt by association” has taken on new connotations in the technological age.

All of those fascinating, genealogical searches that allow you to trace your family tree by way of a DNA sample can now be used against you and those you love.

As of 2019, more than 26 million people had added their DNA to ancestry databases. It’s estimated those databases could top 100 million profiles within the year, thanks to the aggressive marketing of companies such as Ancestry and 23andMe.

It’s a tempting proposition: provide some mega-corporation with a spit sample or a cheek swab, and in return, you get to learn everything about who you are, where you came from, and who is part of your extended your family.

The possibilities are endless.

You could be the fourth cousin once removed of Queen Elizabeth II of England. Or the illegitimate grandchild of an oil tycoon. Or the sibling of a serial killer.

Without even realizing it, by submitting your DNA to an ancestry database, you’re giving the police access to the genetic makeup, relationships and health profiles of every relative—past, present and future—in your family, whether or not they ever agreed to be part of such a database.

After all, a DNA print reveals everything about “who we are, where we come from, and who we will be.”

It’s what police like to refer to a “modern fingerprint.”

Whereas fingerprint technology created a watershed moment for police in their ability to “crack” a case, DNA technology is now being hailed by law enforcement agencies as the magic bullet in crime solving.

Indeed, police have begun using ancestry databases to solve cold cases that have remained unsolved for decades.

For instance, in 2018, former police officer Joseph DeAngelo was flagged as the notorious “Golden State Killer” through the use of genetic genealogy, which allows police to match up an unknown suspect’s crime scene DNA with that of any family members in a genealogy database. Police were able to identify DeAngelo using the DNA of a distant cousin found in a public DNA database. Once police narrowed the suspect list to DeAngelo, they tracked him—snatched up a tissue he had tossed in a trash can—and used his DNA on the tissue to connect him to a rash of rapes and murders from the 1970s and ‘80s.

Although DeAngelo was the first public arrest made using forensic genealogy, police have identified more than 150 suspects since then. Most recently, police relied on genetic genealogy to nab the killer of a 15-year-old girl who was stabbed to death nearly 50 years ago.

Who wouldn’t want to get psychopaths and serial rapists off the streets and safely behind bars, right? At least, that’s the argument being used by law enforcement to support their unrestricted access to these genealogy databases.

“In the interest of public safety, don’t you want to make it easy for people to be caught? Police really want to do their job. They’re not after you. They just want to make you safe,” insists Colleen Fitzpatrick, a co-founder of the DNA Doe Project, which identifies unknown bodies and helps find suspects in old crimes.

Except it’s not just psychopaths and serial rapists who get caught up in the investigative dragnet.

Anyone who comes up as a possible DNA match—including distant family members—suddenly becomes part of a circle of suspects that must be tracked, investigated and ruled out.

Although a number of states had forbidden police from using government databases to track family members of suspects, the genealogy websites provided a loophole that proved irresistible to law enforcement.

Hoping to close that loophole, a few states have started introducing legislation to restrict when and how police use these genealogical databases, with Maryland requiring that they can only be used for serious violent crimes such as murder and rape, only after they exhaust other investigatory methods, and only under the supervision of a judge.

Yet the debate over genetic privacy—and when one’s DNA becomes a public commodity outside the protection of the Fourth Amendment’s prohibition on warrantless searches and seizures—is really only beginning.

Certainly, it’s just a matter of time before the government gets hold of our DNA, either through mandatory programs carried out in connection with law enforcement and corporate America, by warrantlessly accessing our familial DNA shared with genealogical services such as Ancestry and 23andMe, or through the collection of our “shed” or “touch” DNA.

According to research published in the journal Science, more than 60 percent of Americans who have some European ancestry can be identified using DNA databases, even if they have not submitted their own DNA. According to law professor Natalie Ram, one genealogy profile can lead to as many as 300 other people.

Hunter Biden Invested Millions In Chinese Communist Party Firm Operating Nuclear Plant Reportedly Experiencing Leak.

A nuclear power plant believed to be experiencing a leak posing an “imminent radiological threat” is run by China General Nuclear Power Corporation: a state-owned firm that has enjoyed millions of dollars in investment from President Joe Biden’s son Hunter.

Problems at the facility were exposed via a CNN report, which revealed that the plant’s French partner reached out to the White House for assistance:

The warning included an accusation that the Chinese safety authority was raising the acceptable limits for radiation detection outside the Taishan Nuclear Power Plant in Guangdong province in order to avoid having to shut it down, according to a letter from the French company to the US Department of Energy obtained by CNN.

Despite the alarming notification from Framatome, the French company, the Biden administration believes the facility is not yet at a “crisis level,” one of the sources said.

The Biden team’s lack of concern comes as the primary operator of the China-based plant – China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGN) – counts millions in investment from Hunter Biden.

BHR Partners – the private equity firm where Hunter Biden served as a director since 2013 – was a $10 million cornerstone investor in CGN’s initial public offering. Occurring in 2014, the IPO was the second largest of the entire year, valued at over $3 billion.

The company, which Hunter Biden reportedly retains a sizable stake in, still lists GCN as part of its portfolio on its website.

• At 8:30 AM ET, Retail sales for May is scheduled to be released. The consensus is for 0.4% decrease in retail sales.

• Also at 8:30 AM, The Producer Price Index for May from the BLS. The consensus is for a 0.6% increase in PPI, and a 0.6% increase in core PPI.

• Also at 8:30 AM, The New York Fed Empire State manufacturing survey for June. The consensus is for a reading of 22.0, down from 24.3.

• At 9:15 AM, The Fed will release Industrial Production and Capacity Utilization for May. The consensus is for a 0.6% increase in Industrial Production, and for Capacity Utilization to increase to 75.1%.

• At 10:00 AM, The June NAHB homebuilder survey. The consensus is for a reading of 83, unchanged from 83 last month. Any number below 50 indicates that more builders view sales conditions as poor than good.

Flashback: DC Mayor Honored At DNC For Riot Response. New Reports Reveal She, Not Trump, Teargassed Protesters

For more than a year, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser allowed President Donald Trump to take the blame for what her police forces had done.

The first speaker former actress Eva Longoria introduced at the Democratic National Convention in August 2020 was Muriel Bowser, the Democrat mayor of Washington, D.C. Longoria referenced the clearing of a street in front of the White House earlier that summer, an operation the media had repeatedly falsely characterized as the violent removal of peaceful protesters with tear gas for the sole purpose of a photo opportunity for President Donald Trump.

“When peaceful protesters were teargassed across from the White House, our next speaker stood up, stood strong and turned that place into the Black Lives Matter Plaza in their honor. Please welcome Mayor Muriel Bowser,” Longoria said.

Amazingly, new reports confirm it was Bowser — not Trump — who teargassed the protesters a few blocks away from the White House on the evening in question, that the protests had repeatedly devolved into violence and arson, and that the clearing was done for major security concerns and not a photo opportunity. For more than a year, Bowser allowed Trump to take the blame for what her police forces had done.

In her nationally broadcast speech, Bowser inaccurately called the violent riots — marked by widespread looting, arson of historic buildings, arson of White House buildings, and assaults on scores of police officers — safe and peaceful. Then she blamed Trump for her own police force’s teargassing of protesters.

“[W]hile we were peacefully protesting, Donald Trump was plotting. He stood in front of one of our most treasured houses of worship and held a Bible for a photo op. He sent troops in camouflage into our streets. He sent tear gas into the air and federal helicopters too. I knew if he did this to DC, he would do it to your city or your town, and that’s when I said enough,” she said.

But it was Bowser who “did this to DC,” not Trump.
