Florida governor to pardon everyone in state charged with breaking Covid restrictions
Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has announced he will pardon all Floridians who have been legally charged for breaking coronavirus restrictions on mask wearing and social distancing, arguing guidelines should be advisory.
Appearing Wednesday on Fox News with Florida gym owners Mike and Jillian Carnevale, who were arrested on several occasions and threatened with months in prison for allowing people to enter their business without a face mask, DeSantis said he would overrule the “total overreach” against them.
“This is exactly what we ordered against last summer, many months ago,” the governor declared, before announcing that “effective tomorrow morning” he would “sign a reprieve under my constitutional authority” that would “delay the case for sixty days.”
DeSantis then also revealed that in the coming weeks he would “issue pardons, not only for Mike and Jillian, but for any Floridian that may have outstanding infractions for things like masks and social distancing.”
“The fact is, it’s not even right to be wearing masks when you’re exercising,” he argued, noting that the World Health Organization “advises against it” and that coronavirus restrictions “should be advisory.”
DeSantis – a close ally to former President Donald Trump – has been a staunch opponent of authoritarian practices during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Unlike many other governors, DeSantis has called coronavirus lockdowns a “mistake,” rejected mandatory face masks, and overruled local authorities’ restrictions.
Earlier this month, DeSantis also banned all businesses and government buildings from requiring Floridians to disclose their vaccination status in order to enter – a more complete ban than other governors, who merely prohibited government buildings, but not private companies, from requiring vaccine passports.

“More than 400 barges were delayed on the lower Mississippi River on Wednesday after a bridge crack prompted the U.S. Coast Guard to halt vessel traffic on a portion of the waterway crucial for shipping crops to export markets.
The disruption hit as strong demand for U.S. corn and soybeans has tightened inventories and pushed crop prices to their highest in more than eight years. Also, U.S. President Joe Biden is seeking to have Congress approve a $2.25 trillion infrastructure bill.
The Coast Guard stopped all traffic on the Mississippi River near Memphis - between mile markers 736 and 737 - after a crack was discovered in the Hernando de Soto Bridge that spans the river, according to a statement.
There were 12 vessels with 157 barges in the queue to pass northbound and 16 vessels with 254 barges in the queue to go southbound, Lieutenant Mark Pipkin, a Coast Guard spokesman, told Reuters. The barges are carrying a mix of materials including crude oil and dry cargo like corn or rocks, he said.
Pipkin said it is not known when the river will reopen.

Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee Signs Bill Requiring Burial or Cremation of Fetal Remains
Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee (R) signed a bill into law that will require the burial or cremation of the remains of surgically aborted babies.
Lee signed HB1181/SB828 last week. The bill summary states:
Generally under present law, the method of disposition of an aborted fetus or aborted fetal tissue must be in conformity with the rules of the board for licensing healthcare facilities. This bill deletes that provision and instead requires that final disposition of fetal remains from a surgical abortion at an abortion facility be by cremation or interment. This bill provides that a pregnant woman who has a surgical abortion has the right to determine the following regarding the fetal remains:
(1) Whether the final disposition is by cremation or interment; and
(2) The location for the final disposition.

Lawmakers who sponsored the legislation published statements on Monday regarding Lee’s approval.
“Tennessee is overwhelmingly a right-to-life state,” said state Rep. Tim Rudd (R), according to the Murfreesboro Voice. “While it’s disheartening that we have to propose legislation to ensure a preborn child’s body will be treated with the same respect as any other human being, I’m grateful for the support.”
The measure does not restrict access to abortion, but provides directives for the disposal of aborted human remains, just as there are already regulations regarding the remains of pets.
“It is a tragedy in Tennessee that we regulate how veterinarians properly dispose of the remains of animals, but there are no regulations regarding human babies,” said state Sen. Janice Bowling (R). “These are the remains of human beings and should be treated as such. This new law corrects that oversight and ensures that the remains of unborn children are treated with dignity.”
Abortion rights advocates typically attempt to distract from the scientific fact that abortion ends the life of a human being.

Bennett dismissed the notion as “nonsense.”
“Instead of taking its money and investing in hospitals, in schools, in building a future for its people, [Hamas is] spending all its money on terror, on trying to kill Israelis. It’s both stupid and wrong. It’s stupid because they are not going to succeed because we’re strong and we are going to defend ourselves. And, you know, I am in the position now, but make no mistake, we are all united, we stand strong united. And there’s one way for this to stop: For Hamas to lay down its arms. And then, it’ll stop,” Bennett said.
Asked about the political implications on the ongoing war with Hamas, Bennett said that all of Israel stands “united.”
“When we get hundreds of rockets a night on Israel, we all stand united. No one will divide us and we’ll fight back,” Bennett said. “We’re a democracy. I’m darn proud of that, that we’re a democracy. And, yes, part of democracy is the ability to criticize one another, but we in Israel have a sort of an unspoken rule: When we’re at war with an enemy that wants to annihilate us, we stand together.”
Bennett also dismissed claims that the ongoing conflict has sprung out of Hamas’ and Palestinians’ lack of a recognized state or any unjust “occupation” by Israel.
“We gave Hamas everything, unfortunately,” Bennett said, referring to a 2005 agreement in which Israel completely evacuated the Gaza Strip. “If they decide that they want to start governing and stop being a failed terror state which is a miserable future for their own people, they’ll find a peaceful neighbor. But if they continue this, it’s just going to get worse.

Crypto exchange Binance reportedly under investigation by DOJ, IRS
Binance, one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, is under investigation by the Justice Department and Internal Revenue Service, Bloomberg News reported on Thursday, citing people with knowledge of the matter.
As part of the inquiry, the officials who probe money laundering and tax offenses have sought information from individuals with insight into Binance’s business, the report said. “We take our legal obligations very seriously and engage with regulators and law enforcement in a collaborative fashion,” a spokesperson for Binance said in an email, adding that the company does not comment on specific matters or inquiries.
“We have worked hard to build a robust compliance program that incorporates anti-money laundering principles and tools used by financial institutions to detect and address suspicious activity,” the spokesperson added.
The investigation comes after Germany’s financial regulator BaFin last month warned that Binance risked being fined for offering its securities-tracking digital tokens without publishing an investor prospectus. Bitcoin, the world’s largest cryptocurrency, fell below $50,000 Thursday afternoon, down 1.65 percent to $48,572.56, after a Bloomberg reporter tweeted that Binance faced the DOJ and IRS probe.
The drop followed another hit the currency took after Elon Musk tweeted his Tesla electric-car company would no longer accept Bitcoin for payment.

Election integrity revelation: Detroit bragged that use of Zuckerberg funding ‘created a new normal’
The Department of Elections reported that what it was most proud of in its allocation of its $7.4 million grant was that it "allowed us to hire more quality staff because we were able to pay them more."
In Detroit's report on the $7.4 million in grants it received from the Center for Tech and Civil Life (CTCL), a voter advocacy organization funded by Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, the city said that a new normal had been created with how the election was run in 2020.
"We created a new expectation for the public, because we significantly increased the number of ways [a] voter can vote," reported the city's Department of Elections in the CTCL grant report, obtained by Just the News through a Freedom of Information Act request.
"We have created a new normal in terms of how voters expect to vote in the City of Detroit," reads the report. "The funding structure established must be preserved for future elections. We are requesting grant funds for the current year."
The grant reporting form includes a questionnaire. One of the questions is: "What did you do with the CTCL COVID-19 Response grant funds that you're most proud of?"
Detroit responded that the grant funds "allowed us to hire more quality staff because we were able to pay them more."
The city reported that more than three-quarters of its CTCL grant money ($5.6 million of $7.4 million) was spent on the category "Poll worker recruitment funds, hazard pay, and/or training expenses."

In response to a question asking what Detroit would be able to do if its annual election budget was permanently doubled, the report said, "We are requesting additional Grant Fund assistance for the 2021 election cycle."
According to the grant report, Detroit spent $160,000 on ballot drop boxes and $200,000 on non-partisan voter education. While the total of all three CTCL grants was $7,436,450, the report from Detroit rounded it up to $7,440,000 in its allocation of funds.

Event comes as officials warn China has ramped up influence efforts
The Democratic majority leader of the California state senate and officials from some of the United States's top foreign policy think tanks will speak this week at a forum organized by a group with close ties to the Chinese Communist Party.
The China Public Diplomacy Association, a group founded by China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will host the 2021 China-U.S. Public Diplomacy Summit in Beijing on Friday. The association, which has received little attention in the West, is led by several officials at Communist Party front groups. Robert Hertzberg, the majority leader of the California Senate, is slated to speak on a panel at the summit, as are scholars from the Brookings Institution, the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, the Wilson Center, the Asia Society, and other prominent U.S. think tanks.
The forum comes as American officials sound the alarm about Beijing's foreign influence efforts. CIA director William Burns has warned that the Chinese government has ramped up its propaganda efforts by cultivating links to educational institutions and think tanks. The China-backed Confucius Institute, which is a member of the China Public Diplomacy Association, seeks to influence American students on college campuses.
"Every think tank, every university, every lawmaker, and every corporate executive should realize that meetings like these are influence operations orchestrated by the Chinese Communist Party intended to slowly undermine America," Sen. Marco Rubio (Fla.), the top Republican on the Senate Intelligence Committee, told the Washington Free Beacon about the summit.
Burns testified at his confirmation hearing on Feb. 24 that the Chinese government uses myriad front groups "to advance its soft power and pro-China propaganda through cultural and educational programs at U.S. academic institutions."
Burns spoke of his own experience as president of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, which he led from 2015 until his confirmation as America’s top spy. Burns told Rubio at his confirmation hearing that he ended Carnegie's relationship with a group called the Chinese-U.S. Exchange Foundation over concerns about its influence activities.
Douglas Paal, a top China scholar from Carnegie Endowment, is listed as a panelist at the summit.
The forum will be held in person at Renmin University in Beijing and streamed live on the internet. The itinerary does not say which American speakers will attend the event in person and which will attend virtually. One panelist, Daniel Schrag, will speak on a panel via Zoom, according to a spokesman for his think tank, Harvard University's Belfer Center. The other think tanks did not respond to requests for comment.
John L. Thornton, the global co-chairman of the Asia Society and the namesake of the Brookings Institution's China Center, is scheduled as a keynote speaker at the event, as is Stephen Lakis, the president of the State Legislative Leaders Foundation. Daniel Victor of the Brookings Climate Change Initiative and Jerrold Green of the Pacific Council on International Policy are also listed as panelists. Craig Allen, the president of the U.S.-China Business Council, will also speak at the forum.
Another panelist is Robert Daly, the director of the Wilson Center's Kissinger Institute on China. In May 2018, Rubio called on the Wilson Center to disclose that a participant in its event on China's influence efforts was a member of the United Front Work Department, a network of agencies and Chinese Communist Party apparatchiks that Beijing uses to influence Westerners.

Crypto exchange Binance reportedly under investigation by DOJ, IRS https://trib.al/DNq2eIn
Binance, one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, is under investigation by the Justice Department and Internal Revenue Service, Bloomberg News reported on Thursday, citing people with knowledge of the matter.
As part of the inquiry, the officials who probe money laundering and tax offenses have sought information from individuals with insight into Binance’s business, the report said.
“We take our legal obligations very seriously and engage with regulators and law enforcement in a collaborative fashion,” a spokesperson for Binance said in an email, adding that the company does not comment on specific matters or inquiries.
“We have worked hard to build a robust compliance program that incorporates anti-money laundering principles and tools used by financial institutions to detect and address suspicious activity,” the spokesperson added.
The investigation comes after Germany’s financial regulator BaFin last month warned that Binance risked being fined for offering its securities-tracking digital tokens without publishing an investor prospectus.

The Data Drives Deleted by the Maricopa County Included Adjudicated Files (Where Votes Were Changed)
There are many material items noted in the letter from Arizona Senator Karen Fann to the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors Chairman, Jack Sellers. But one item not provided by the County and apparently deleted is a very important piece of data that the County did not want the auditors to see.
Late last night we reported on the letter sent to Maricopa County Board of Supervisors Chairman from Karen Fann at the Arizona Senate. The Senate has hired auditors to audit the 2020 Election in the County. Many significant and material issues were noted in the letter related to the audit last night. Many items were not supplied to the auditors. One item that bears mention is related to some of the files that were deleted before data was provided to the auditors.
We have recently discovered that the entire “Database” directory from the D drive of the machine “EMSPrimary” has been deleted. This removes election related details that appear to have been covered by the subpoena. In addition, the main database for the Election Management System (EMS) Software, “Results Tally and Reporting,” is not located anywhere on the EMSPrimary machine, even though all of the EMS Clients reference that machine as the location of the database. This suggests that the main database for all election-related data for the November 2020 General Election has been removed. Can you please advise as to why these folders were deleted, and whether there are any backups that may contain the deleted folders?
The image below shows the location of the files known to be deleted. In addition, the main database for “Results Tally and Reporting” is not present.
If you look closely at the files that were deleted, you will see that they include adjudicated ballot files. These would include ballots that were reviewed by someone (the system won’t tell you who) and manipulated by that person (the system won’t tell you when) and likely changed to Biden votes.
We have known this for some time. The adjudication process is currently designed to allow voter fraud through changing votes from one candidate to another.
We know there is massive fraud in Maricopa because Biden somehow miraculously outperformed Hillary in the county at 150% and became the first Democrat since Truman to win the county.
As we noted above, spoilation of evidence is a serious offence, much like tampering with evidence is. Penalties include prison sentences. Do you think the Maricopa Board of Supervisors would risk going to prison over evidence they destroyed that didn’t show massive voter fraud?

ACLU Counsel Doubled As Professor For Chinese Communist-Run University Flagged For Espionage.
A former Chief Counsel for the American Civil Liberties Union – one of the nation’s left-wing legal advocacy groups – serves as a Visiting Professor at Chinese Communist Party-run Peking University.
The Beijing-based university, headed by a former Chinese Communist Party spy agency leader, has seen its American graduates questioned by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) over fears of students being “co-opted by Chinese espionage efforts.”
Despite these ties, for over a decade, Mark Rosenbaum, who formerly served as chief counsel for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) Foundation of Southern California, has lectured at the university’s school of transnational law.
While the ACLU purports “to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties” of all Americans, it has consistently taken up left-wing – and often anti-Trump – causes. The group has sued to stop Trump’s travel ban, border wall construction, and even launched ad campaigns targeting Justice Brett Kavanaugh – all while one of its leading lawyers was openly collaborating with the Chinese Communist Party.
In addition to lecturing, Rosenbaum, who worked with the ACLU for four decades, leads the Chinese Communist Party-run university’s Public Interest Advocacy Clinic. The effort pushes for progressive legal advocacy on behalf of “disadvantaged citizens and underserved citizens” in the U.S. A summary notes:
Students in this clinical program assist Public Counsel with public interest impact litigation in the United States seeking to secure fundamental rights for disadvantaged citizens and underserved citizens. Students provide remote assistance developing theories for the cases, assisting with factual investigations and discovery, and participating in the development of related policy initiatives.
Among the courses taught by Rosenbaum are Equal Protection Law and First Amendment Law. “This course examines contemporary issues of free speech in the context of U.S. Constitution First Amendment law: the uses and values of free speech; whether certain categories of speech deserve more or less protection; political speech; censorship and discrimination based on content; hate speech and racist speech; obscenity and pornography and feminism; symbolic speech,” one course summary notes.
Rosenbaum has also served on the Advisory Board of Peking University’s Transnational Law Review Journal.

Last week, the Gateway Pundit reported about the emergency meeting that was called by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, after the County was reportedly unable to provide passwords to the auditors performing an audit of the county’s 2020 Election results. They also did not provide access to the routers which were requested in the audit as well.
On Wednesday afternoon, it was discovered that “the entire database” for the 2020 General election, showing the “Results Tally and Reporting,” has been deleted!
President of the Arizona Senate Karen Fann released a letter to Chairman Sellers, demanding answers on Wednesday night.
Senator Karen Fann called the Maricopa County Supervisors to come before the Arizona Senate and explains how the election databases were deleted from the voting machines just 10 days before the machines were turned over to the Senate forensic audit team!
