Based on evidence that Alpha News has obtained over the past few weeks, Elmi is also believed to be the biological brother of Omar.

Omar, in a carefully crafted statement, has said that she is married culturally to Ahmed Hirsi, the father of her three children who appears in her campaign literature. She said that she and Hirsi briefly separated and she then married a man from the UK named Ahmed Nur Said Elmi.

This Rosetta spacecraft selfie was snapped on October 7th, 2014. At the time the comet-chasing spacecraft was about 472 million kilometers from planet Earth, but only 16 kilometers from the surface of comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko. Looming beyond the spacecraft near the top of the frame, dust and gas stream away from the comet's curious double-lobed nucleus. Bright sunlight glints off one of Rosetta's 14 meter long solar arrays. In fact, two exposures, one short and one long, were combined to record the dramatic high contrast scene using the CIVA camera system on Rosetta's still-attached Philae lander. Its chosen primary landing site was on the visible hemisphere of the smaller lobe of the nucleus. This was the last image from Philae's camera before the lander separated from Rosetta on November 12. Shortly after separation Philae took another image looking back toward the orbiter and began its descent to the nucleus of the comet.

An anti-corruption court in Kiev has ordered the arrest of a man who held a senior position under former Ukrainian Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko.

The widening scandal over an alleged protection racket exposed in early September is one of several to have rocked Vladimir Zelensky’s government, prompting multiple people close to him to flee the country for fear of prosecution. Kravchenko left Ukraine before parliament could dismiss him.

The latest suspect has been identified by the media as Ivan Timoshenko, who headed the Information Technology Department under Kravchenko before also resigning.

Ukraine’s High Anti-Corruption Court ordered Timoshenko detained at the request of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU), which is investigating the alleged protection racket involving scam callcenters at the Prosecutor General’s Office (PGO). The court set his bail at $177,000.

According to NABU, the alleged criminal network, reportedly run by former cybercrime division chief Sergey Kropiva on behalf of his superior, generated at least $20 million in illicit proceeds.Kravchenko has not been formally charged with any crime.

The anti-corruption agency described Timoshenko’s role as crucial to the operation. He allegedly maintained direct contact with fraudsters protected by the network and collected payments from them. NABU also accused him of ensuring the group’s internal security, maintaining secrecy and recruiting new members.

According to media reports, Timoshenko and Kropiva previously worked together in Ukraine’s cyberpolice, the PGO, and the Odessa regional administration.

Both returned to prosecutorial work in 2025, after Kravchenko took charge of the PGO. Their return followed an unsuccessful attempt by Zelensky’s government to curb NABU’s independence, which prompted Western donors to threaten to suspend aid to Kiev.

Kropiva reportedly persuaded Kravchenko to appoint his longtime associate to head the PGO’s IT department. According to evidence presented by investigators when seeking Kropiva’s arrest, Timoshenko also helped him perform personal favors for Kravchenko, including arranging the prosecutor general’s trip to Madrid.

A number of American lawmakers are gearing up to jeopardize the Trump administration’s deal to ease sanctions on Russian diesel through April. They are seeking action against US companies involved in the trade and planning to block the Treasury from issuing such a waiver in the future.

US President Donald Trump announced the deal earlier this month, weeks ahead of the impending November midterm elections. Under the waiver, Moscow agreed to immediately put 300,000 tons of diesel into the market, followed by larger quantities later on. The deal was reached as US diesel prices hit a record high, surging above $6.50 per gallon in September, with prices in parts of California exceeding $8.

The disruption of global energy markets, caused by the Iran war and the Ukraine conflict, has resulted in rising gas prices in the US, further denting the positions of Republicans ahead of the vote. Diesel is the key fuel type extensively used in agriculture and freight; its price affects the cost of virtually all goods, resulting in further cost-of-living issues. Rural communities, smalltime farmers, and truckers are particularly vulnerable to diesel prices spikes.

Senate Democrats are now seeking to investigate the diesel deal, the Washington Post reported on Thursday, citing an unnamed Senate Democratic aide. According to the aide, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee has requested companies involved in the scheme to preserve documents ahead of a possible probe by the panel.

“[The companies] should have liability concerns as well as investigative concerns,”the aide told WaPo.

Further action against the diesel deal has been taken by Republican Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick (PA-1), an outspoken hawk, Ukraine backer, and proponent of sanctions against Russia.The proposed legislation, titled the Ronald Reagan Peace Through Strength Act of 2026, would effectively block Russian oil imports for good.

The bill would nullify the standing Russian oil waiver, “immediately rendering General License 135 ineffective and prohibiting future waivers or general licenses authorizing the importation of Russian energy products,” as well as strip the Treasury from the ability to expend funds “on agreements that violate the Ending Importation of Russian Oil Act of 2022,” the legislation that sanctioned Russian energy products, including diesel, in the first place.

Apart from the energy part, the bill also would “reinforce critical intelligence support for Ukraine,” obliging spy agencies to cooperate with Kiev and to “notify congressional intelligence committees within 24 hours of any interruption.”

Kiev has moved to block a planned tribute to Nazi collaborator Roman Shukhevich, who was involved in the killing of an estimated 100,000 Poles during World War II ethnic purges, officials in Warsaw have claimed.

The move triggered a fierce response in Poland, which regards the UPA as perpetrators of genocide against Poles in Volhynia and Eastern Galicia and Shukhevich as a key “architect” of the massacres. Before becoming a UPA leader, Shukhevich served in Nazi Germany’s Nachtigall Battalion and the German-controlled 201st Schutzmannschaft Battalion, which operated in occupied Belarus.

On Wednesday,Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk condemned the resolution as “unwise” and “suicidal tactics,” saying it “harms Ukraine,” while Polish Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz called the move “unacceptable,” warning that it would deepen divisions between the neighboring countries. Meanwhile, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski called for the resolution’s key sponsor, Lviv regional lawmaker Svyatoslav Sheremeta, to be put on a list of individuals deemed undesirable in Poland.

Following the backlash, Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Marcin Bosacki said on Wednesday that officials of Vladimir Zelensky’s office had assured Warsaw that the controversial resolutions would not come into force. On Friday, Tusk echoed the claim, saying that Zelensky had personally signaled he would not endorse the resolution, adding that the Ukrainian leader was “unhappy” with the situation.

This also came after the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry called the Shukhevich tribute in Lviv “counterproductive to our current efforts aimed at further developing Ukrainian-Polish relations.” The ministry stressed that the local authorities had sought no advice from government bodies to assess the consequences of their actions.

An unnamed sourcein Zelensky’s office cited by Ukrainskaya Pravda went so far as to describe the decision as a “catastrophe.” “Ukraine looks erratic. We have just resolved the previous crisis – and now this,” the source said, accusing regional officials ofpursuing “cheap one-day hype” despite knowing all too well what the resolution would lead to.

While senior Ukrainian officials apparently distanced themselves from the controversy, the Lviv council’s original announcement remains accessible as of Saturday. Sheremet also previously defended the resolution, saying “This is our history, our heroes, and we must duly honor their memory.”

The dispute is the latest in a series of heated clashes between Kiev and Warsaw over Ukraine’s continued veneration of nationalist figures that collaborated with Nazi Germany during World War II.

In May, Zelensky awarded an elite Ukrainian special operations unit the honorary title “Heroes of the UPA,” prompting another diplomatic uproar, with Polish President Karol Nawrocki stripping the Ukrainian leader of the Order of the White Eagle, Poland’s highest state decoration.

This incredible composite image of Orionid meteors was captured as Earth passed through the debris trail shed by Halley's Comet.

Astrophotographer Tim McCollum captured a spectacular view of Orionid meteors sharing the night sky with a host of deep sky wonders on Oct. 21, as the annual shooting star display ramped up to peak activity.

Comet 1P/Halley may be over 3 billion miles (4.8 kilometers) from Earth, but that didn't stop it from putting on a breathtaking display earlier this week, as particles cast off by the ancient wanderer carved a fiery path through the autumn sky.

McCollum was able to capture a trio of vivid Orionid meteors as they streaked through the night sky above the city of Toccoa, Georgia, between 3-4 a.m. on Oct. 21.

Each of the shooting stars can be seen racing away from the shower's apparent point of origin — or radiant — which is located close to the red giant star Betelgeuse in the constellation Orion.

Successfully imaging a shooting star takes a combination of skill, luck and patience.

McCollum photographed the meteors over the course of multiple 30-second exposures taken with a Canon EOS Ra camera and RF 28-70 f2.0 lens, which was fixed unerringly on the radiant with the aid of a star tracker.

The individual exposures were then combined into a single composite image using the astrophoto software PixInsight.

The familiar stars of Orion's Belt glisten to the right of McCollum's image, close to the glow of the Orion Nebula — one of the nearest major star forming regions to Earth.

The Rosette Nebula (Caldwell 49) can also be spotted embedded in the dense starfield and dust lanes of the Milky Way's galactic plane, which runs diagonally through the composite image, as can numerous star clusters.

The Orionid meteor shower is active until Nov. 7, so be sure to head outside over the next few nights for a chance to spot one of Comet 1P/Halley's dazzling shooting stars.

If you're lucky, you may even spot a Halloween Fireball belonging to the Taurid meteor shower, as Earth passes through the debris streams cast off by Comet 2P/Encke!

As NASA returns humans to the lunar surface and establishes a long-term presence on our closest celestial neighbor, the agency and commercial human landing system providers Blue Origin and SpaceX have streamlined the designs and changed both concepts of operations for its future crewed landers.

Since NASA established initial contracts with Blue Origin and SpaceX for crewed missions to the Moon, the agency has redefined Artemis III to demonstrate rendezvous and docking capabilities between test versions of landers from each provider and the agency’s Orion spacecraft in low Earth orbit next year. In parallel, the companies are also developing crew and cargo versions of their landers for near-term Artemis missions.

“We are executing President Trump’s National Space Policy to complete the long-awaited return of American astronauts to the lunar surface in 2028 and establish a Moon Base,” said NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman.

“We have a proven foundation in SLS and Orion, along with two lunar landers in development with Blue Origin and SpaceX. But NASA has no intention of sitting idly by as all the pieces come together.

That is not how Apollo succeeded, and it is not how the near-impossible is achieved. NASA is energized, our core capabilities are being rebuilt, our machine shops are running 24/7, and our experts are in the field attacking the critical path.

We are building a Super Bowl-caliber team to safely achieve these objectives and everything that comes next.”

For the initial crewed missions to the Moon, Artemis astronauts will launch in the agency’s Orion spacecraft on top of the SLS (Space Launch System) rocket from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

During each Artemis mission, a commercial human landings system will link up with Orion before taking two crew members to the lunar surface while two remain aboard Orion.

To accelerate development toward a 2028 landing, the Artemis landers and Orion will no longer rendezvous in a near-rectilinear halo orbit around the Moon and instead meet up in an orbit that differs for each partner, informed by their systems.

Both companies are required to perform an uncrewed demonstration mission with their crewed landers prior to the near-term Artemis crewed missions to the Moon.

NASA will certify lander systems prior to the crewed missions to ensure safety and mission success.

Starship lander concept of operations

SpaceX continues to plan for an in-space propellant aggregation approach to transfer super cold, or cryogenic, liquid propellant in space.

The company will launch multiple versions of Starship to low Earth orbit prior to the launch of the Starship Human Landing System (HLS) from Florida.

Similar to a gas station on Earth, the series of propellant “tanker” Starships in low Earth orbit will transfer propellant to the waiting “depot” Starship. The depot Starship will ultimately fuel the Starship lander for its journey to the Moon.

Under the revised operations, Starship HLS will await Orion and its crew in Earth orbit.

The lander and Orion will rendezvous and dock in Earth orbit, then the Starship lander will perform a trans-lunar injection burn to send the combined lander and Orion stack to low lunar orbit.

NASA is working to modify Orion to enable Starship to push it to the Moon. The lander will bring two crew members to the lunar surface for several days before delivering them back to Orion for the ride back to Earth.

Soon, it'll be all Starship, all the time.

SpaceX launched its newest batch of Starlink broadband internet satellites today (Oct. 23) from the California coast.

The spacecraft, Starlink Group 15-15, were stacked 27 high inside the payload fairing of a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket, which lifted off from Pad 4E at Vandenberg Space Force Base at 6:48 p.m. EDT (2248 GMT; 3:48 p.m. local time in California).

The rocket's first stage booster, designated B1063, executed its main engine cutoff and stage separation about 2.5 minutes into flight, sending the second stage to continue onward to low Earth orbit (LEO). The vehicle's two-piece protective payload fairing was jettisoned just before T+3 minutes.

The booster, meanwhile, reoriented for its descent back to Earth. As the mission clock passed 8 minutes, B1063 began its landing burn, and it touched down about 20 seconds later on SpaceX's droneship "Of Course I Still Love You."

This was the 36th launch and landing for B1063, which notably launched NASA's DART asteroid-smashing mission in November 2021.

The Falcon 9's upper stage completed its first engine burn shortly after B1063 landed and will coast for about 45 minutes before initiating a second and final orbital insertion burn.

Following that burn's execution, deployment of the vehicle's 27 satellites into LEO is scheduled to begin 62 minutes after launch.

Today's Starlink liftoff adds to SpaceX's growing constellation of more than 11,000 active spacecraft. But Starlinks aren't launching quite as often as they used to, as SpaceX shifts its focus from the Falcon 9 to its bigger and more powerful Starship rocket.

Starship is designed for full reusability and is equipped with a payload bay outfitted to accommodate SpaceX's upgraded Version 3 Starlink satellites, which are too large for the workhorse Falcon 9.

Starship is still under development, but once the rocket begins operational flights (and that day is getting closer), SpaceX plans to phase out the Falcon 9 and its Falcon Heavy variant almost entirely.

Falcon 9's 100th launch of 2026 was the Starlink 10-49 group from SpaceX's pad at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, which was later revealed to be the final Falcon 9 Starlink mission that would fly from Florida's Space Coast.

The same might soon be true for Starlink launches from the West Coast as well.

The reduction in missions lifting off from Florida has slowed Falcon 9's Starlink launch cadence considerably. At their peak, these missions were flying every two to three days.

But the most recent one before today lifted off 11 days ago, and that launch itself was the first Starlink mission in more than three weeks.

Today's launch was the 116th Falcon 9 flight so far in 2026, with about three-quarters of those being dedicated to Starlink.

The reduced cadence will likely solidify 2025 as the Falcon 9's busiest year ever, with 165 launches completed. At its current rate, the Falcon 9 is expected to fly just under 150 missions by the end of this year.

It’s time to fully investigate Michigan Senator Elissa Slotkin for her hidden role in the ongoing conspiracy by Democrat operatives to cover for the crimes Joe Biden committed in Ukraine during his vice presidency.

And that conspiracy is, at the very least, behind the two failed impeachment attempts against President Trump during his first term, both of which involved then-Representative Slotkin, who has recently shamed herself with her “deterrence message” that targeted future employment opportunities for Republican voters.

Above is my screenshot of an official White House photo taken aboard Air Force Two in 2015 as Joe was on his way to Ukraine to fire the prosecutor who was investigating his and Hunter’s ties to Burisma Holdings. That was Joe’s infamous “if you don’t fire him, you’re not getting the billion dollars” trip. The crime the conspiracy is protecting was Joe using his office to enrich himself and his family. Firing the prosecutor was a big part of that, and everyone on that airplane with him would have eventually known their quickie visit to Ukraine was a cover story for Joe and Hunter.

I was on AF2 when that photo was taken, and I certainly know there was a crime and a coverup. That’s why I wrote my books.

I want you to note—and this is VERY IMPORTANT—I made that screenshot on February 14th, 2024, at 3:01 p.m., from a publicly accessible document/photograph on Obama’s archived and “frozen in time” White House website. I saw it on the website, screenshotted it with my iPad, and kept it in my photo library. Very simple.

As you can see, there seated next to the window is Elissa Slotkin who at the time was the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs. Russia and Ukraine were in her portfolio. Slotkin was on the senior staff briefing team advising Joe on that trip. I believe Alexander Vindman was one of her contacts at the very corrupt American embassy in Ukraine. I’ll have more on that later.

Like I said, I was on that trip, as well, and can testify to a grand jury about events that I witnessed there. I can also testify about incriminating information formerly documented on the ObamaWhiteHouse.Archives.gov website, such as that damning AF2 photo, that has been disappeared.

Why can I say that? Because I recently conducted a keyword search on that Obama library website for that AF2 photo and had this highly suspicious result.

Okay, I tried entering fewer and more general terms. Here’s the result of my search for Joe Biden Ukraine 2015, several boilerplate biography docs show up at the top, followed by a single innocuous press release/fact sheet that didn’t make it into the screenshot. In other words, that photo is no longer on the website.

That is shockingly stupid on the Obama Library’s part. I pored over that website for several years as I published Substacks and books detailing Joe and Hunter’s criminal activities in Ukraine and China. I know—and will testify when called—that there used to be over a thousand documents related to Joe Biden’s activities in Ukraine alone and at least fifty related specifically to his outreach to Ukraine in 2015. Now there is but ONE.

And how do I know that? Because before they removed them, I recorded them. That’s right, lefties, a substantial amount of evidence that you thought was hidden has already been documented in my archived Substacks and the two White House tell-alls I published with Bombardier Books in early 2024 and 2025.

By the way, the knowledge and experience I have of digging into that website when it was fully operational makes me the kind of subject matter expert that law enforcement agencies ask to testify before grand juries as they investigate RICO conspiracies like the one Joe Biden and Elissa Slotkin and many others are involved in.

The Defense Ministry in Moscow has released a series of videos showing its elite Rubicon drone unit intercepting Ukrainian long-range attack UAVs heading deep into Russian territory and striking Kiev’s military equipment, including Western-supplied artillery systems.

On Friday, a Ukrainian drone raid on Moscow temporarily shut down all four of the capital’s international airports, disrupting dozens of flights and triggering an evacuation alert at Sheremetyevo.

The same day, Kiev’s missiles struck a civilian enterprise in the city of Oryol during rush hour, killing at least three people, according to Governor Andrey Klychkov.

The attacks came despite renewed diplomatic efforts to resolve the conflict, with Moscow announcing plans to resume trilateral talks with Washington and Kiev following Russian President Vladimir Putin’s meeting with US envoy Steve Witkoff on Wednesday.

Russia has accused Ukraine of deliberately targeting civilians to offset battlefield setbacks and has intensified strikes on Ukrainian military infrastructure in response. Moscow maintains that it does not target civilians.

One of the clips published by the Defense Ministry on Friday captured more than 20 interceptions of Ukrainian long-range UAVs by Rubicon’s FPV-drone operators.

The destroyed hardware included FP-2 models, capable of carrying up to 100 kg of explosives to a distance of up to 2,000 km, and Anubis drones with a payload of up to 50 kg, it said.

Another clip showed Russian UAVs ramming numerous medium-range kamikaze-drones such as Ukrainian-made Chakluns and Bliskavkas as well as the Hornets, produced by Swift Beat, a company run by former Google CEO Eric Schmidt.

The other three videos featured a montage of successful strikes by Rubicon’s FPV-drones against Ukrainian targets on the ground, with armored vehicles, artillery pieces, robotic systems and communication devices being hit.

One of them captured the destruction of a French-supplied CAESAR howitzer near the village of Zelenoye in Russia’s Donetsk People Republic (DPR).

In another clip, the Russian UAV operators are seen discovering and eliminating a US-made М119 artillery system in an undisclosed location.

The final video shows Rubicon’s drones in action near the city of Krasny Liman in the DPR, where Russian forces are continuing to move steadily forward.

The stone wall put up by the Ilhan Omar campaign doesn’t reach across the pond.

As if things could not get any stranger in the Ilhan Omar marriage controversy, Alpha News has received several e-mails from Ahmed Nur Said Elmi the man who is believed to be the “legal” husband of Ilhan Omar demanding we remove his picture from our site. Based on evidence that Alpha News has obtained over the past few weeks, Elmi is also believed to be the biological brother of Omar.

Omar, in a carefully crafted statement, has said that she is married culturally to Ahmed Hirsi, the father of her three children who appears in her campaign literature. She said that she and Hirsi briefly separated and she then married a man from the UK named Ahmed Nur Said Elmi.

If Ilhan did marry her brother in 2009, there are a litany of legal implications for the DFL candidate for MN House District 60B.

Ahmed Elmi the Bison

Alpha News found Ahmed Nur Said Elmi’s e-mail address on a resume posting website called “branded.me”. Not only did the picture used on the resume look like other known pictures of Elmi, he also listed that he attended North Dakota State University, where he studied Fine Arts. In previous stories, Alpha News discovered that Ahmed Nur Said Elmi attended NDSU after he married Omar in 2009.

While there are several Ahmed Elmi’s in the world, it appears only one went to NDSU.

Elmi’s Email Response

Alpha News e-mailed the address listed on the account last week and asked Elmi about his relationship to Ilhan Omar. Elmi responded that he is “not entirely sure I’m aware of what’s going on, but there seems to have been a mistake made.”

Elmi then confirmed that the photographs that are in the Alpha News articles are definitely of him, and says that: “no way am I affiliated with anyone in your articles. Nor do I recall being married to anyone. At least, from what I remember.”

He then lectured Alpha News on the laws and rules of journalism and posting photographs of “private individuals” in the United Kingdom. He questions why Alpha News has a screenshot of his LinkedIn profile and an image of him at an event that was “found on Google.” He then attempts to accuse Alpha News of racism by saying “Now granted, those of us with Somali heritage might all look the same to the naked eye.”

He then closes out the e-mail stating that he is not quite sure what is “going on here” and that he wants no part of it. He requested that Alpha News take down his image from our site and wishes Alpha News luck in “finding what you are looking for.”

Several industrial facilities were damaged in a drone attack on the Russian city of Tolyatti on Saturday, local authorities said, while Ukraine said it had struck a major petrochemical plant there.

Togliatti Mayor Ilya Sukhikh said preliminary reports indicated no fatalities or injuries. He did not specify which facilities had been hit.

Ukraine's General Staff said it had struck the Tolyattikauchuk petrochemical plant, one of Russia's largest producers of synthetic rubber.

The General Staff also reported a strike on the Proton electronics plant in Russia's Oryol region, which Kyiv says manufactures components for cruise and ballistic missiles.

Oryol regional Governor Andrei Klychkov said three people were killed on Friday in a Ukrainian missile strike on an unspecified civilian facility in the region.

Ukraine's military also reported hitting an aircraft at the Yeysk airfield in southern Russia. Local authorities confirmed an attack in the area but said it caused only minor damage to two apartment buildings.

Russia's Defense Ministry said on Saturday that air defenses had destroyed 1,297 drones, one French-made SCALP cruise missile and four Ukrainian Neptune missiles over the previous 24 hours.

A FARC dissident cell dropped a grenade from a drone onto a Colombian Navy patrol boat in Cauca, killing one marine and wounding four — the latest blow in a widening aerial war on the Pacific coast.

The Briefing:

A drone carrying a grenade struck Navy patrol vessel ARC 1200 on the Guapi River in Cauca on Friday morning, killing marine professional Edwin Andrés Vargas Londoño, 23, with one year of service — four fellow crew members were wounded and airlifted to Cali for emergency care.

Colombia's Navy formally attributed the strike to Estructura 30 Jhonier Toro Arenas, a FARC dissident cell within the Bloque Occidental Jacobo Arenas, condemning it as a terrorist act that violates international humanitarian law.

The same day, soldier Brajhan Daniel Ropero Lozano was killed in a separate small-arms ambush in Guachaca, near Santa Marta, underlining the nationwide scope of Colombia's relentless security crisis.

A bomb released from a drone killed one Colombian marine and wounded four others on Friday morning on the Guapi River in Cauca, as armed group drone strikes against the country's security forces have more than doubled in 2026 — with Colombia now recording an average of nearly one aerial attack per day across all active conflict zones.

A Grenade Dropped From the Sky

The strike unfolded around 10 a.m. in the area known as Bocas de Penitente, in Guapi, a municipality on Colombia's Pacific coast.

A unit from the Batallón Fluvial de Infantería de Marina N.° 42 was conducting offensive operations against illegal armed groups in the area when the attack came.

Rather than engaging through gunfire or roadside bombs — the traditional tools of Colombia's guerrilla conflicts — the attackers deployed a drone to release a grenade directly onto patrol vessel ARC 1200 as it moved through the fluvial corridor.

The device detonated on impact. Edwin Andrés Vargas Londoño, 23, a marine professional with one year of service, died at the scene.

The four surviving wounded were identified as Yesi Ángulo Ángulo, Juan Nicolás Hernández Cruz, Camilo Sebastián Fuertes Chalama, and Yeider David Ruiz Lozano.

Crew members acted immediately to pull the injured from the damaged vessel and coordinated an emergency helicopter evacuation. All four were transported to medical facilities in Cali; their conditions had not been publicly disclosed as of Friday night.

According to EuroNews, more than 30 mobilisations, including marches, sit-ins, assemblies and strikes, have been scheduled across the country.

Rome: Italian authorities have stepped up security across major cities, deploying thousands of police officers and soldiers, along with drone surveillance, ahead of nationwide protests against the rising cost of living on Saturday, October 24, according to EuroNews.

Rome will see around 1,500 officers deployed, while Milan is preparing to deploy approximately 1,800 police personnel, municipal officers and soldiers to manage demonstrations and prevent a recurrence of violent incidents reported on October 17 and 18.

Protests are planned in several Italian cities, including Milan, Bologna, Genoa, Turin, Rome and Florence.

According to EuroNews, more than 30 mobilisations, including marches, sit-ins, assemblies and strikes, have been scheduled across the country.

In Rome, the police have drawn up a security plan to manage both authorised demonstrations and spontaneous rallies announced online.

Drones operated by the State Police's 1st Flight Department and aircraft from the Carabinieri will be used for surveillance, with security checks extending from public squares to railway stations.

The British Telegraph exposed America-hating communist Medea Benjamin’s links to Iranian regime leadership in a Friday exposé.

Medea Benjamin and Jodie Evans are the founders of the anti-American communist group that fronts as a women’s peace group while rubbing elbows with the most disgusting tyrants in the world.

Jodie Evans, the Code Pink cofounder along with Benjamin, is married to radical far-left billionaire Neville Roy Singham, a Shanghai-based tech entrepreneur who donates to anti-American protests here in the United States.

Singham is bankrolling a massive political movement in America.

Benjamin has been disrupting Congress for decades now and continues to be allowed into the US Capitol despite her these ongoing disruptions.

The Telegraph on Friday revealed information on Benjamin's links to the wicked Iranian regime and meetings with Iranian regime officials who are now sanctioned by US treasury.

The leader of an activist group behind pro-Palestine protests in the UK met with two individuals later sanctioned over their links to Iran, The Telegraph can reveal.

In 2014, Medea Benjamin, the co-founder of anti-war organisation Code Pink, was in contact with men later identified by US officials as facilitators for the Islamic Republic’s foreign intelligence. They were sanctioned by the US treasury five years later.

An intelligence source claimed Ms Benjamin had been viewed by Iran as an “asset” to the regime by pushing “Iran’s influence and narratives” in both the US and UK...

Pentagon releases new UFO files on U.S. military sites

The Pentagon on Friday released the latest batch of declassified UFO files that includes information about recent incursions over U.S. military sites. This is the 7th time the Department of War has released files dating back to May.

Friday’s release contains no photos or video, but does contain detailed reports of unexplained aerial phenomena.

The files contain a report by Las Vegas-based Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies, LLC (BAASS) titled Project Capella.

Project Capella was BAASS’s effort to construct the most comprehensive UFO/UAP data warehouse ever assembled.

It aimed to archive decades of pilot reports, government documents, and civilian sightings, and to store a mix of evidence, including photos, radar data, audio, video, and sketches, merging multiple major databases into a single searchable platform.

Earlier this month, the DIA sent a letter to Robert Bigelow of Bigelow Aerospace, saying they would like to work together to release files dealing with UFOs/UAPs once appropriate redactions are made.

Some of the documents in this latest release date back decades, but perhaps the most intriguing records on UFO’S/UAP’S are from this year. They include three separate reports describing what the Pentagon calls a black, triangle-shaped craft flying over sensitive military sites.

The object reportedly flew at an elevation of 200 to 300 feet and measured about 9 feet long, with a wingspan of approximately 13 feet.

The triangle craft traveled roughly a mile and a half in less than three seconds while flying near military personnel. It reportedly had no obvious propulsion mechanism and produced no sound or lights.

Other documents in Friday’s file release include reports of cylinder-shaped flying objects dating back to the 1960s and 1970s in Saudi Arabia, Sweden and other locations.

Many of those records have never been declassified until now.

How will Democrats address UFO sightings if returned to the majority?

Unidentified flying objects (UFOs) have long captivated Americans — a majority of whom, recent polling suggests, believe the government is hiding information about the phenomena. And the debate has also made its way to Capitol Hill.

In recent years, conversations surrounding UFOs, which the government now refers to as unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs), have heated up on both sides of the congressional political aisle.

In 2022, under a Democratic majority, a House Intelligence subcommittee held the first congressional hearing on UFOs in over five decades. Two officials leading the Pentagon’s UAP task force testified, with one making clear they were encouraging pilots to report sightings.

Americans still remain distrustful of the government’s handling of these phenomena. An August Gallup poll found that, while nearly half of Americans are skeptical that UFOs are of extraterrestrial origin, 78 percent believe the government knows more about the sightings than it tells the public.

In line with the public’s fascination, the second Trump administration has declassified files on UFOs and created a new governance board to coordinate investigations into reports of sightings.

Some lawmakers have taken an active role in calling for government transparency on the topic. And, with Democrats likely to take back control of the House next year, The Hill has broken down how the party’s UFO clarity advocates may address investigations and declassifications.

GOP keeps the reins of the UAP Caucus

Democratic leadership has previously backed efforts to increase transparency surrounding federal UFO investigations.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.), Democrats’ likely House speaker choice should the party reclaim the lower chamber and current Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) step down, said in 2023 he supported sharing data on the phenomena with the public whenever feasible.

“I do support transparency to the extent this information that can be put into the public domain that is enlightening, one way or the other, and perhaps is able to dismiss some of the conspiracy theories that exist increasingly in our society,” Jeffries said in July 2023, as reported by The Hill’s broadcasting partner, NewsNation.

But Congress also has a caucus already dedicated to investigating and declassifying UFO information.

In 2023, Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.) founded the UAP Caucus, which currently includes himself as well as Reps. Jared Moskowitz (D-Fla.), Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.), Nancy Mace (R-S.C.), Eric Burlison (R-Mo.) and Andy Ogles (R-Tenn.).

The caucus is “dedicated to the study, disclosure, and policy development surrounding” UFOs, according to its website, and hopes to expand the group to include the Senate.

Moskowitz is the caucus’s only Democrat, and he is in a tough battle for reelection after Florida Republicans redrew the state’s congressional districts. Two more members are set to leave the caucus, as Mace is retiring and Ogles lost renomination.

But the caucus also includes “honorable mentions” — members, including senators, who are not technically part of the caucus but are “instrumental” in supporting its goals.

‘Honorable mention’ Democrats support the cause

The Hill reached out to House Democrats running for reelection who are listed as either members or “honorable mentions” of the UAP Caucus.

Rep. Andre Carson (D-Ind.), one of the caucus’s honorable mentions, accused the Trump administration in a statement sent to The Hill of having “slow walked” UFO reporting and investigation transparency efforts.

He specifically singled out a “historical UAP record report” and called for its immediate release.

“I’m calling for the immediate release of this report, which is expected to provide additional findings of historical military and intelligence investigations of UAP, including how incidents were investigated, the role of classified programs, and whether relevant activities were appropriately disclosed to Congress,” Carson said.

During the 2022 House hearing, Carson pushed to destigmatize UFO reporting for pilots and other military officials.

The Indiana Democrat said at the time the stigma around the phenomena had “gotten in the way of good intelligence reporting,” as he alleged some pilots “were laughed at” when the reported unidentified aircraft.

Carson is a member of the House Intelligence Committee. Other House Democrats on the UAP Caucus “honorable mentions” list include Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (N.Y.), Ro Khanna (Calif.) and Jamie Raskin (Md.).

There has been at least one report of an unidentified flying object sighted in the vicinity of Armagh within the last year, according to a recent report from the Northern Ireland UFO Society.

The Northern Ireland UFO Society (NIUFOS) is a non-profit organisation founded in 2013, by Christopher McMurray and Jamie Smale to serve as a platform for “UFOlogists, enthusiasts and researchers” in Northern Ireland to meet, discuss and investigate UFOs and extraterrestrials.

After noticing an “absence of such a society” in Northern Ireland, the pair formed the group and while they are based here, they welcome membership from all “nationalities, religions and creeds”.

According to their website, NIUFOS aim to investigate, review and publish UFO reports after reports are received or they “stumble upon them”.

They add: “We stress the importance of not solely viewing the subject of UFOlogy from a rational, scientific, materialistic point of view, but acknowledge the spiritual and metaphysical side too.

We believe it is important to view UFOlogy from all possible angles with an open mind”.

Most recently, the society say a recent Freedom of Information (FOI) report from the PSNI has disclosed details of possible UFO or unexplained aerial sightings in Northern Ireland.

And, according to the information received there has been at least one possible sighting right here in Armagh!

Say NIUFOS: “The records, released in March 2026, include accounts from locations such as Armagh, Randalstown and Saintfield.

“One report from Armagh describes three orange lights observed in a triangular formation during August 2025. Other accounts refer to alien abduction, unusual illuminated objects, including a reported disc-shaped object seen over Randalstown.

“The disclosure adds to previously published PSNI records documenting reports of unexplained phenomena across Northern Ireland.”

Trace Cyrus is raising eyebrows after sharing a bizarre new Instagram video in which he claims that certain members of Donald Trump's administration are actually aliens.

The "Cry Your Eyes Out" singer tied his unusual theory to the growing fascination with UFOs and the possibility of extraterrestrial life, suggesting that the public is becoming increasingly skeptical of the government's explanations about aliens.

In the video, Cyrus pointed to what he perceived as unusual physical features among certain administration officials as supposed evidence of his claims.

He also predicted that his theory would gain more attention in the coming years as conversations surrounding extraterrestrial life continue to grow.

Cyrus questioned why government officials appear to be pushing discussions about extraterrestrial life at a time when he believes public trust in the government has significantly declined.

"I don't know if any of you guys have been keeping up with what's been going on with all this alien UFO disclosure, these congressional meetings with whistleblowers, ex-military," the singer-songwriter said.

He went on to describe the individuals he was referring to as having "long necks, big a- heads," before alleging, "They’re putting it on full display of the aliens they’ve been working with."

Cyrus wrapped up his unusual theory with a bold prediction, declaring, "But you’ll see within the next few years, this is all going to be well-known knowledge."

Military Boards Are Quietly Defying Hegseth’s Transgender Ban Orders by Voting to Keep Gender-Confused Troops in Uniform

Navy and Marine Corps separation boards are repeatedly voting to keep transgender service members despite Pentagon rules that leave them almost no choice but to recommend discharge, according to a new report.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced the policy in blunt terms during a September “State of the Force” address at Marine Corps Base Quantico.

“No fatties, no trannies, no beardos, no weirdos, no wimps, no radicals,” Hegseth told the audience, describing the people he said had no place in the military under the Trump administration’s push for higher standards and the end of woke ideology.

The boards were created to process remaining cases after President Donald Trump’s executive order and Hegseth’s guidance barred service by those with “gender dysphoria” or related treatments.

Many of the roughly 4,200 openly transgender troops identified by the Pentagon accepted separation payments and left, but some stayed and demanded the peer-review process.

The boards, staffed by everyday uniformed personnel and given instructions that any evidence of transgender status requires dismissal regardless of performance, have not followed orders in most Navy and Marine cases.

The New York Times found these boards voted to retain the member in nine of 12 proceedings.

Outsiders, including spouses, are barred from the proceedings, and the Pentagon has not released official tallies.

The figures came from interviews with participants and lawyers.

New York Times military correspondent Dave Philipps described the process to CNN.

“So what’s interesting is these boards are set up sort of like jury duty to pull every day Marines and sailors and have them apply the rules, and kick trans service members out. And these rules are written so narrowly that they’re really left with no choice,” he said.

“If anyone has any sign of being transgender, even if they’re a decorated war hero or a really needed highly-trained technician, the juries have no leeway. If transgender, then you must throw them out. But that’s not what these boards are doing.”

Philipps continued, “All of a sudden, they are looking at these rules, realizing that they’re given no choice, and then they’ve been voting over and over — about three out of every four times — to keep these transgender soldiers and sailors and Marines in uniform, which is basically them quietly defying orders.”

“I think what the boards are doing is saying, ‘Look, we’re being presented with someone who is good at their job, has never broken any rules, and in some cases, is a highly-valued member of the military. And we’re being told to throw them out,’ and they’re just saying, ‘No.’ In fact, in some cases, in the Marine Corps, I saw paperwork where they actually scratched out the instructions on their paperwork that said, ‘You must discharge this person.’ And instead they just voted to keep them.”

Those votes are only recommendations. Branch secretaries appointed by the administration review them and can reverse the outcome.

Philipps noted the pattern is not uniform.

The Army, the first service to begin hearings, initially discharged nearly everyone, around 95 percent or higher, though more retention recommendations have appeared later.

Air Force boards have “overwhelmingly” voted for separation in the known cases reviewed so far.

One retained Marine, Staff Sgt. Damien Contreras, a supply and logistics specialist with three overseas deployments and a decade of service, told the Times that board members were simply “war fighters looking at war fighters.”

“I was shocked at first, but when you come down to it, it makes sense,” Sergeant Contreras told the NYT. “You have war fighters looking at war fighters,” he said. “They see I’ve always done my job, I’ve deployed, I’ve mentored other Marines, followed the rules. They say, ‘Hey, this is a good Marine, why wouldn’t we retain him?’”

The administration has already limited the boards’ independence. An October 2025 Pentagon memo obtained by the Associated Press allows commanders to override a board’s recommendation to retain a transgender member, breaking with longstanding practice that boards act independently.

Service members appearing before boards have also been required to meet uniform and grooming standards corresponding to their sex assigned at birth, and refusal can be held against them.

About a quarter of the identified transgender troops took voluntary separation payments rather than face the process.

Legal challenges to the transgender troop ban continue, but the Supreme Court has allowed it to remain in effect while litigation proceeds.

Democrat primary candidate and Milwaukee County Executive, David Crowley announced on Wednesday, July 8th, that he was suspending his campaign.

That leaves current Wisconsin Lt. Governor Sara Rodriguez in the primary race against unhinged communist

But Sara Rodriguez dropped out of the race two weeks later on July 17th. Her campaign discovered “serious mismanagement and inaccuracies” in its campaign finance reports, leading to the firing of campaign manager Kara Spencer.

So that was the first major scandal in the Democrat Party’s primary race for governor.

That’s when David Crowley jumped back in the race less than 24 hours later after Rodriquez’s departure.

At this point the Democrat gubernatorial primary race pitted David Crowley against Francesa Hong, a wacky and unapologeticly socialist candidate.

The primary election was now less than a month away.

The squirrely socialist was squaring off against the Milwaukee county executive.But the Democrat primary election scandal only just starting.

On election night, the dim-witted, holiday-hating communist who had emerged as one of new ‘stars’ of the Democratic Party lost her primary in a stunning upset to a largely unknown establishment opponent following a late drop and chaos in Wisconsin’s largest city.

That’s right.

As CNN reported, Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley narrowly defeated 37-year-old state assemblywoman Francesca Hong, who almost everyone assumed was going face Wisconsin GOP nominee Tom Tiffany in the general election.

The state results showed Crowley holding roughly a three-thousand-vote lead, less than half a percentage point of the vote.

According to the media at the time, Milwaukee’s election results from Tuesday’s primary were delayed because of a “human error” when five of nine USB flash drives did not download election results, prompting critics to call it a showing of “complete incompetence.”

Crowley won, Hong went home.This snafu was similar to what we all witnessed in the 2020 election in Wisconsin.

Democrats lost the election flash drive in Milwaukee and the next thing you know, miraculously found 120,000 votes in the middle of the night for Joe Biden.

It appears Democrats got away with this again in the August primary!

Why not try it two times, since the first time it worked so well.

With Americans struggling from soaring energy prices, and businesses across the country trying to keep their heads above water, the Democrats’ apparent priority is to threaten companies that might help ease the pressure.

According to an October 22 Washington Post report, Senate Democrats are preparing to investigate American companies involved in US President Donald Trump’s decision to ease sanctions on Russian diesel. The Senate Foreign Relations Committee has reportedly asked businesses to preserve relevant documents ahead of possible congressional investigations, should Democrats regain control of Congress in the November midterms.

For a party that claims to champion working Americans, this is a peculiar way of demonstrating its concern.

Diesel is the lifeblood of the American economy. It powers the trucks that carry food to supermarkets, the tractors that harvest crops, the machinery that builds homes and roads, and the locomotives that move freight across the vast country.

Yet the people who depend on it have too often been treated as an afterthought by the Washington establishment. They live and work in the industrial towns, farming communities and sprawling rural counties that coastal political elites dismiss as flyover country.

Just recall Hillary Clinton’s infamous 2016 description of millions of Trump supporters as a “basket of deplorables” – a perfect crystallization of the contempt that many ordinary Americans felt was directed at them by the Democrats.

A decade later, that perception is unlikely to be helped by the Democratic lawmakers’ threats to investigate businesses for participating in an arrangement intended to bring additional fuel to the market.

The timing makes those threats extra galling. America is facing an energy crunch aggravated by the Trump administration’s own military campaign against Iran. There is no reason to pretend otherwise. Yes, the president’s decisions helped disrupt global energy markets, and Americans are entitled to demand answers about their consequences.

But recognizing that responsibility does not mean opposing every subsequent attempt to alleviate the damage.

Trump’s decision to temporarily ease restrictions on Russian diesel represents an effort to increase available supplies at a time when the market desperately needs relief.It is a pragmatic response to an immediate economic problem, whatever one thinks of the circumstances that created it.

And now Democrats are determined to make that response costly for the companies willing to participate.

Congress has every right to examine whether the administration acted within its legal authority. But threatening private businesses with investigations for engaging in transactions authorized by the federal government is another matter entirely. If those companies comply with the law, why should they have to fear becoming targets of a future congressional majority?

The actual volume of Russian diesel involved is almost beside the point.

Moscow initially pledged to release some 300,000 metric tons of diesel, with further shipments promised in the following months – a modest quantity compared to America’s enormous fuel consumption.

Repeated claims by European officials that Russia poses a threat of war to their countries amount to “political schizophrenia,” President Vladimir Putin has said.

He made the remarks on Thursday while speaking to Russian journalist Pavel Zarubin after participating in the Union of Theatre Workers congress at the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow.

Putin strongly denied the repeated allegations that Moscow has been gearing up for war with Europe in any fashion, dismissing them as a part of the ongoing “anti-Russian campaign” on the continent.

“They now go so far as to constantly speak of a ‘Russian threat’ and even discuss preparations for a war with Russia – which, in my view, amounts to a kind of political schizophrenia. But I hope that it will pass,”Putin stated.

The Ukraine conflict has clearly demonstrated that Russia cannot be defeated on the battlefield, the president argued,adding that the idea of inflicting a “strategic defeat” on the country was “simply not realistic.” Putin expressed hope that those still entertaining such a scenario would “come to recognize the realities of modern life.”

“They will hopefully realize that it is better to live in harmony with Russia – a path that truly serves the interests of their own peoples. If you look at the political processes currently underway in Europe, it becomes evident that the European peoples have no desire to go to war with Russia,” the president stated.

In fact, Russia does not want to fight Ukraine either, Putin said, pointing at the shared past and the longstanding ties between Russians and Ukrainians. Still, Kiev itself chose war in 2014, when it opted to fight the people of then-Ukrainian Donbass, who had rejected the Maidan coup, the president said, adding that Ukraine has also rejected Moscow’s repeated attempts to mediate that conflict.

“If the current Ukrainian leadership wishes to fight, then let them fight. But why do they expect everyone else to foot the bill and supply them with weapons? I suppose they have their arguments – likely rooted in past promises of help. But it seems that the ‘help’ was intended to last until the very last Ukrainian,” Putin said.

The Russian president also touched upon the territorial issues between Moscow and Kiev, pointing out that the loss of formerly Ukrainian regions should not be treated as such, since they were never Ukrainian in the first place.

“It is not their territory, it is a part of historic Russia,” he stressed, adding that local residents voted to secede from Ukraine and reunify with Russia.

Russia remains ready to resolve the Ukraine conflict through diplomacy, Putin said, reiterating Moscow’s willingness to resume trilateral talks with Washington and Kiev.

“The purpose of these negotiations will be to discuss how to ensure the security of both Ukraine and Russia following the conclusion of peace agreements, specifically, definitive, long-term agreements, rather than a mere temporary cessation of hostilities,” the president said, adding that the discussions should involve a wider all-European security architecture.

Moscow announced it was ready to resume the trilateral talks following Putin’s meeting with US special envoy Steve Witkoff in St. Petersburg on Wednesday.

Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov subsequently said the next round could take place in Abu Dhabi around mid-November.

Starshield, a different system, is controlled by the US government. What they decide to do is up to them.

Ukraine military violated Starlink terms of service and used it for offensive drone strikes to kill people. That loophole was closed last week.

Starlink remains critical to the defense of Ukraine, as it is the only system that cannot be jammed or blown up, at least for now. Were Starlink to be turned off, the Ukrainian front line would collapse immediately. This is NOT a threat, it is simply a statement of fact.

Starlink was also crucial to preventing Russia from overrunning Ukraine in the early days of the war, as all other means of communication were destroyed or jammed by Russia.

SpaceX has done more to defend Ukraine than any private company on Earth BY FAR.

That said, I have nothing but UTTER CONTEMPT for the virtue-signaling evil warmongers who push for endless slaughter and offer no realistic solution to the conflict. May you burn in hell.

RINO Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski has joined forces with the Democrats again in opposing theDepartment of Justice’s lawsuit against the Democrats’ dirty trick in the Alaska Senate race.

The controversy centers on Daniel J. Sullivan, who ran in the Senate primary as a Republican and is now running in the general election as a no-party-affiliated candidate after receiving just 2.5% of the vote.

The scheme is intended to confuse voters into voting for the wrong Dan Sullivan, giving Democrat Mary Peltola a victory in the solid red state.

The DOJ on Friday sued to block certification of Alaska’s Senate race if the Democrats’ decoy, Daniel J. Sullivan, causes incumbent Senator Dan S. Sullivan to lose.

The lawsuit argues that “some supporters of Senator Sullivan likely will inadvertently vote for Daniel J. Sullivan.”

“To guard against this danger, it is vital that Defendants not certify any election result that may be impacted by voter confusion,” the filing says.

The DOJ seeks to prevent certification of the results if “(1) Senator Sullivan does not win the election; and (2) had all votes cast for Daniel J. Sullivan been cast instead for Senator Sullivan and Alaska’s rank-choice process played out accordingly, Senator Sullivan would have won the election.”

Now, the Democrats are fighting back,represented by Marc Elias’ Elias Law Group.

And they don’t need to look far for Republican support, as anti-Trump RINO Lisa Murkowski, the senior Senator from Alaska, is already on board.

She released a statement this morning, decrying the Department of Justice’s lawsuit and claiming that “Alaskans don’t need any help voting for their preferred candidates.”

“The State of Alaska has already handled this by clearly distinguishing the candidates on this year’s ballot,” she said.

“The Department of Justice should never have filed this lawsuit.”

President weighed in on the DOJ’s lawsuit on Friday, telling reporters, “I’m the one that said do it.”

The Maine Wire has published video and witness accounts from Lewiston City Hall during early voting showing groups of Somalis being dropped off by NGOs, met by translators at the door, escorted into the voting area, and assisted in ways that observers say have crossed into illegal electioneering.

In one video, translators approached Somali voters who had not requested help, even after poll workers told them not to.

The Department of Justice has announced it is sending election monitors to polling places in Portland and Lewiston for the midterm elections, the Maine Secretary of State’s office confirmed after the videos dropped.

Maine Wire reporter Jon Fetherston said he spent multiple days documenting the activity and personally observed it more than 100 times.

Jodie Evans, the Code Pink cofounder along with Benjamin, is married to radical far-left billionaire Neville Roy Singham, a Shanghai-based tech entrepreneur who donates to anti-American protests here in the United States.

Singham is bankrolling a massive political movement in America.

Benjamin has been disrupting Congress for decades now and continues to be allowed into the US Capitol despite her these ongoing disruptions.

The Telegraph on Friday revealed information on Benjamin's links to the wicked Iranian regime and meetings with Iranian regime officials who are now sanctioned by US treasury.

The leader of an activist group behind pro-Palestine protests in the UK met with two individuals later sanctioned over their links to Iran, The Telegraph can reveal.

In 2014, Medea Benjamin, the co-founder of anti-war organisation Code Pink, was in contact with men later identified by US officials as facilitators for the Islamic Republic’s foreign intelligence. They were sanctioned by the US treasury five years later.

An intelligence source claimed Ms Benjamin had been viewed by Iran as an “asset” to the regime by pushing “Iran’s influence and narratives” in both the US and UK...

Elon Musk has just delivered a clarifying statement on X platform, outlining what many suspected.

Ukraine was using Starlink to attack Russia, that was never allowed. Ukraine was authorized to use Starlink to defend itself inside Ukraine and communicate on the front lines of battle. However, Ukraine military leadership weaponized their access to Starlink and began using it as an offensive missile/drone guidance system.That was stopped.

This is exactly what many suspected. For the past two weeks Volodymyr Zelenskyy has been obfuscating what Ukraine was doing, while U.S. members of Congress were conflating the difference between Starlink and Starshield.

Ukraine was never permitted to use Starlink as an offensive weapon outside its borders. Zelenskyy and his military were purposefully violating the terms of use for Starlink systems by weaponizing it.

The U.S. government under Biden and Trump would not authorize the use of Starshield for Ukraine’s use because that would be akin to the United States military guiding missiles and drones into a nuclear armed power, Russia.

It will be interesting to see how Zelenskyy and congress respond to this statement by Elon Musk.

SpaceX has closed a “loophole” that allowed the Ukrainian military to use the civilian satellite internet network for offensive drone strikes, Elon Musk has announced, telling warmongers who prolong the conflict to “burn in hell.”

The billionaire’s harsh remarks on Saturday come amid a deepening rift between Washington and Kiev, with US President Donald Trump accusing Vladimir Zelensky of repeatedly rejecting opportunities to end the conflict and worsening global fuel shortages by attacking Russian oil infrastructure.

“Using Starlink, a civilian commercial service, for offensive drone strikes to kill people has never been allowed, nor should it be,” Musk wrote on X. “Ukraine military violated Starlink terms of service and used it for offensive drone strikes to kill people. That loophole was closed last week.”

The SpaceX CEO distinguished the commercial Starlink network from Starshield, a separate military-grade system controlled by the US government. “What they decide to do is up to them,” he said.

Musk concluded with a blistering attack on unnamed “warmongers” who keep pushing for war. His criticism echoes Trump’s increasingly harsh rhetoric toward Zelensky, whom the US president has accused of squandering numerous opportunities to negotiate an end to the fighting.

The comments follow days of controversy over restrictions imposed on satellite services used by Ukrainian forces.Kiev claimed the slowdown had disrupted drone operations and initially suggested that Washington was responsible.

Trump denied that his administration had ordered the restrictions. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent also rejected allegations of US government involvement,while Secretary of State Marco Rubio warned Kiev against escalating the dispute.

Musk stressed that Starlink remains essential to Ukraine’s military communications and battlefield survival. “Were Starlink to be turned off, the Ukrainian front line would collapse immediately,” he wrote, adding that the statement was “NOT a threat” but an assessment of the military’s dependence on the network.

On Saturday, Kiev announced that Starlink and Starshield had returned to their previous operating speeds, with Ukrainian officials thanking Trump and other American representatives for helping resolve the disruption.

Earlier this month, the SpaceX chiefdeclared that “Zelensky has gone too far”after the Ukrainian leader called Trump’s deal with Russian President Vladimir Putin to ease the global diesel crisis a “weak decision.”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said his country must prepare to adapt its economy to global sanctions, citing declining international support and a potential end to US financial and military aid.

Public opinion toward Israel has grown increasingly negative amid the wars in Gaza and Iran. In the US, a recent Chicago Council on Global Affairs report recorded the country’s lowest favorability rating since its polling began in 1978, with a majority supporting reducing or ending military aid.

Last month, the UK announced a ban on imports from illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank, with Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband describing settlers as “terrorists” supported by Netanyahu’s government and accusing them of ethnically cleansing Palestinians.The same day, 11 other countries, including France, Spain, and Canada, joined Britain in a statement supporting the two-state solution and announcing plans to impose or consider restrictions on trade with the settlements.

“We must understand that there could be sanctions, including banking sanctions,” Netanyahu said in an interview aired on Israel’s Channel 10 on Friday.

“We need to prepare an alternative economy capable of functioning by circumventing these sanctions,” he added, noting that blockchain technology, which underpins cryptocurrencies, was among the options under consideration and that he had already requested an implementation plan.

Former prime minister and opposition figure Yair Lapid seized on the remarks, saying that“Netanyahu now admits, in his own words, that if his government is returned to power, American military aid will endand Israel will face sanctions that will devastate our economy, trigger uncontrolled price surges, and cause irreparable damage.”

The comments come days before Israel’s first national election since the October 7 Hamas attacks, with accountability for security failures, the cost of living, ultra-Orthodox military service, and the country’s international standing among the issues facing voters. US President Donald Trump made “totally false” statements when he blamed rising diesel prices in America on Ukrainian strikes on Russian refineries, Vladimir Zelensky has claimed, accusing him of “deflecting the focus away from Iran.”

Zelensky’s remarks came amid a growing spat with Trump, who has repeatedly accused Kiev of exacerbating the global energy crisis with continued attacks on Russian oil infrastructure.

Russia has historically been the world’s second-largest exporter of diesel fuel, behind only the United States, accounting for roughly 10% of global exports.

Disruptions to Russian supplies have tightened the global market, driving up prices even in countries that do not directly import fuel from Russia, including the US.

“The volume of diesel exports is so negligible from Russia that it has zero impact on prices in the US. That is totally false information,” the Ukrainian leader claimed during an appearance on Steven Bartlett’s The Diary of a CEO podcast on Thursday.

If Trump cares so much about US energy prices, then “why do American companies export energy?”Zelensky asked rhetorically. “Well, because how can the president of the United States ban private sector exports?... It sells and money comes in.”

Zelensky accused Trump of unfairly “deflecting the focus away from Iran” and lamented that “everything gets shifted onto us and I’m made the target as the leader of our country.”

According to Zelensky, “the root of the problem” lies in the Strait of Hormuz, where crude exports and other maritime traffic have dwindled to a trickle following the start of the US-Israeli military campaign against Iran in February.

Earlier this month, Zelensky similarly hit out at what he described as a “weak decision” by the Trump administration after Washington temporarily waived sanctions on Russian diesel exports to ease the global fuel crisis.

Moscow agreed to immediately supply more than 300,000 tons of diesel to American and global markets, followed by 500,000 tons in November, another million tons shortly thereafter, and potentially another 3 million tons, depending on refinery capacity.

Washington struck the deal with Moscow after Zelensky had repeatedly ignored Trump’s requests to stop strikes on Russian refineries. “We said, you can do whatever you want to Russia, don’t hit the refineries, because that’s a world problem that’s caused,” the US president recounted earlier this month.

“And what does he do? He goes and hits the diesel fuel,” Trump lamented, accusing Zelensky of wanting to “make problems for the world.”

Trump also said he found it more difficult to deal with Zelensky than with Russian President Vladimir Putin, suggesting that Ukraine should get a new leader who would not obstruct Washington’s mediation efforts.
