Foreign countries targeting tech from US space companies, intel agencies warn

U.S. intelligence agencies warned private American space companies on Friday that foreign intelligence agencies are targeting the industry in efforts to steal or undermine critical technologies.

The National Counterintelligence and Security Center, the FBI and the Air Force’s Office of Special Investigations, urged the industry to beware of various efforts by foreign entities to gain access to information, including through joint ventures, acquisitions, facility visits and employee recruitment.

“Foreign intelligence entities (FIEs) recognize the importance of the commercial space industry to the US economy and national security, including the growing dependence of critical infrastructure on space-based assets,” the agencies said in Friday’s bulletin.

“They see US space-related innovation and assets as potential threats as well as valuable opportunities to acquire vital technologies and expertise,” they added.

While the bulletin did not specify any particular countries, an American counterintelligence official told Reuters that China and Russia are “among the leading foreign intelligence threats” to the industry.

The trio of agencies encouraged U.S. space companies on Friday to track peculiar incidents, establish insider threat programs, conduct due diligence on suppliers and investors, and incorporate security requirements into contracts with third parties, among other mitigation efforts.

Former U.S. Virgin Islands attorney general Denise George states in court documents that the Virgin Islands governor pressured her to let Epstein onto the island.

In documents made public Monday, George testified that Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. in 2019 pressured her to issue a special waiver to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein that would allow him to enter the Virgin Islands, even though his sex offender status prevented him from doing so, according to the documents.

George refused to issue the waiver, according to the Daily Caller.

“My thoughts about that even then, in particular then, it did not sit right with me,” she stated in her deposition.

“Because my thing is, first of all, why is the Governor, you know, getting involved in this matter that is a law enforcement matter," George continued. "Or only the Attorney General to make based on law, and that he was doing so on behalf of a convicted sex offender, a sexual offender, child predator, this person, Jeffrey — Jeffrey Epstein.”

The deposition was part of a legal fight between the Virgin Islands and JPMorgan. Both parties have thrown accusations at each other regarding Epstein.

EXCLUSIVE: A North Carolina middle school student was suspended for three days over a conversation he had with classmates about Jesus Christ.

The 12-year-old is a seventh grader at Envision Science Academy in Wake Forest. He is also a devout Christian.

The young man’s father told me that he received a phone call from the assistant dean saying he needed to attend a meeting about his son’s “continued behavior.”

Several of the boy’s classmates had started a conversation during the previous school year about Christianity and his son had explained how they needed a relationship with Jesus Christ to go to Heaven.

“She told me that my son had violated Title IX,” the dad told me. “The two kids who had complained interjected themselves into the conversation and ridiculed my son about his faith and how stupid it was.”

The dad told me school’s dean that the other students had been taunting his son, but that did not seem to matter.

“She said they were going to suspend him for borderline harassment,” he told me. “They took the word of the other kids above my son’s word.”

It certainly appears that the other students set a trap for the Christian kid and he was suspended for three days.

“It’s sick and sad. Never seen anything like it,” the dad told me. “But I know the world we live. It’s pretty wicked at times.”

The family reached out to the American Center for Law and Justice for help.

“Once we heard about this situation of the student’s suspension, we took action,” said ACLJ’s Jordan Sekulow. “Immediately after this student’s parents contacted us, we wrote a legal demand letter to this school. We made very clear to the school its obligation under the First Amendment was to respect the right of this child to share his faith, rather than stifle his ability to communicate his beliefs with others. The school is barred by the First Amendment from treating his faith as “harassment.”

The Supreme Court has made clear that school officials may not censor student expression unless the speech “impinge[s] upon the rights of others” or creates a material and substantial disruption to the school’s ability to fulfill its educational goals, ACLJ reports.

Tinker v. Des Moines Indep. Community Sch. Dist., 393 U.S. 503, 509, 513 (1969). Additionally, the Supreme Court has noted:

An attempt by one student to share his Christian faith with another does not infringe on any other students’ rights; the Constitution protects our ability to freely share our beliefs with one another without fear of reprisal. The sharing of one’s religious beliefs with others is also not disruptive; it is part of the educational process for students to share their fundamental beliefs with one another.

“We did not merely give this school a basic lesson in constitutional law,” Sekulow said. “We also made clear that we will be proceeding with further legal action against the school unless it immediately ends this student’s suspension, removes this from his academic record, and apologizes to him and his family immediately.”

This kind of behavior, especially toward vulnerable students, can never be tolerated, the famed attorney added.

“We will continue to hold this school, and any school that engages in similarly blatantly illegitimate behavior, accountable to the Constitution,” he said.

Fourteen major American cities are part of a globalist climate organization known as the “C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group,” which has an “ambitious target” by the year 2030 of “0 kg [of] meat consumption,” “0 kg [of] dairy consumption,” “3 new clothing items per person per year,” “0 private vehicles” owned, and “1 short-haul return flight (less than 1500 km) every 3 years per person.”

C40’s dystopian goals can be found in its “The Future of Urban Consumption in a 1.5°C World” report, which was published in 2019 and reportedly reemphasized in 2023. The organization is headed and largely funded by Democrat billionaire Michael Bloomberg. Nearly 100 cities across the world make up the organization, and its American members include Austin, Boston, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New Orleans, New York City, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Portland, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., and Seattle.

Media coverage of C40 Cities’ goals has been relatively sparse. The few media personalities and news outlets who have discussed it have been heavily attacked by the corporate “fact-checkers.” In a “fact check” aimed at conservative commentator Glenn Beck, AFP Fact Check claimed that the banning of meat and dairy and limits on air travel and clothing consumption were actually “not policy recommendations.”

AFP quotes a paragraph from the original “The Future of Urban Consumption in a 1.5°C World” report, which reads, “This report does not advocate for the wholesale adoption of these more ambitious targets in C40 cities; rather, they are included to provide a set of reference points that cities, and other actors, can reflect on when considering different emission-reduction alternatives and long-term urban visions.”

But this paragraph, likely included in the report as a liability in the case of pushback, seems to directly contradict the meaning of “target,” which in this context can be defined as a “desired goal.” The target of eliminating meat, dairy, and private vehicles by 2030 is “based on a future vision of resource-efficient production and extensive changes in consumer choices,” the report notes — something its authors clearly hope to bring about. If these were not their goals, they would not have labeled them “ambitious targets.”

The “fact-checker’s” insistence that C40 Cities’ explicitly stated climate goals are somehow insincere is even more unconvincing, given that we are watching them start to unfold right now. This year, in lockstep with C40 Cities’ 2030 aims, New York City Mayor Eric Adams announced that the city will place caps on the amount of meat and dairy served by city institutions, such as schools and prisons. Meanwhile, the U.K. has banned the sale of new gas-powered vehicles after 2030, and France has banned short-haul flights “to cut carbon emissions.”

In 2020, the World Economic Forum (which promotes C40 Cities on its website) introduced “The Great Reset,” which seeks to use the Covid-19 pandemic as a point from which to launch a global reset of society to supposedly combat climate change. This reset, however, has far more to do with social control than it does with the climate. If globalist leaders truly cared about the environment, they wouldn’t be chartering private jets or owning massive, energy-consuming mansions on the coast in California, which, by climate fanatics’ own calculation, will soon be underwater.

As the WEF plainly stated in a 2016 promotional video, by 2030 “You’ll own nothing, and you’ll be happy.”

Right now, hedge funds and private billionaires are buying up residential homes and farmland all over the world. At the same time, unrealistic zero-emissions policies are impoverishing Westerners and annihilating the middle class, which is fueling reliance on centralized government. Such intentional steps backward also, ironically, harm the earth because wealthier nations are proven to have cleaner environments and put less strain on natural resources.

Climate activists are also advocating for “climate lockdowns,” in the same way there were Covid lockdowns. Ideas floated for a climate lockdown have ranged from shuttering people in their homes and restricting air travel to providing a Universal Basic Income and introducing a maximum income level.

Climate dystopianism doesn’t end there. WEF-linked “bioethicist” Dr. Matthew Liao has proposed the idea of scientists genetically modify humans to be allergic to meat. Liao has also discussed shrinking the physical size of humans via eugenics or hormone injections so they consume fewer resources.

Hurricane Hilary, a Category 3 storm, is expected to bring “catastrophic and life-threatening flooding” to Mexico and parts of the southwestern United States.

The storm — which prompted a first-ever tropical storm warning for Southern California, including Los Angeles and San Diego — is now moving faster than originally forecast, meaning it's expected to impact the US earlier in the day Sunday. More than a year’s worth of rain could fall in areas of California, Nevada and Arizona.

If Hilary makes landfall in California as a tropical storm, it will be a rare occurrence – the first such storm there in nearly over 80 years.

Dr. Nathaniel Horn, the husband of US Rep. Robin Kelly, has died at 68

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) — Dr. Nathaniel Horn, the husband of U.S. Rep. Robin Kelly, died Friday, according to a statement from the Illinois Democrat.

Horn was 68.

No cause of death was given.

“My husband was a remarkable man. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him and loved him,” Kelly said in a statement posted to X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter. “Whether he was ‘Dad,’ ‘Grandpa,’ or “Nate,’ his impact on all who knew him and loved him will never be forgotten.”

In addition to his widow, Horn is survived by two daughters, two stepchildren and two grandchildren, with another grandchild arriving soon.

Kelly asked for privacy.

Funeral arrangements will be forthcoming.

Kelly, 67, of Matteson, took a post in the House in 2013 following a special election to replace Jesse Jackson Jr. The seat was vacant after Jackson resigned in 2012 during a federal investigation into misuse of campaign funds.

He later went him to federal prison for 30 months.

Her 2nd District runs along Illinois’ border with Indiana from Chicago’s South Side to a point just east of Champaign.

She was chairperson of the Illinois Democratic Party in 2021-22. She also served in the Illinois House for four years and worked as chief of staff to then-state Treasurer Alexi Giannoulias, but lost a 2010 race to succeed him as treasurer.

Why wasn’t HRC prosecuted for the emails? Put simply, Obama ultimately OK’d by using the non govt email addy to communicate w/ Clinton. Obama also had an alias along with each of his cabinet members. Therefore indicting HRC would lead to indicting Obama & his cabinet etc which could never happen. Remember he lied about knowing but that ultimately came out in the dump. Poof!

Warmongering Neocons To Spend $2 Million On Ads For Ukraine War

With Republican support for the proxy war in Ukraine continuing to erode, Bill Kristol and fellow warmongering, neocon colleagues have launched a $2 million campaign to rally GOP voters and legislators to the lost cause - and specifically, to Biden's request that Congress approve another $20.6 billion in Ukraine war funding.

While top congressional leaders are expected to back Biden's request, more and more Republican legislators are saying "enough is enough."

Kristol routinely spawns new political entities to advance the neocon agenda. In this case, a group called Defending Democracy Together an anti-Trump 501(c)(3) of which Kristol is president has itself spun out an entity called Republicans for Ukraine. It's a textbook example of astroturfing - the term that describes a political drive that fosters the illusion of widespread grassroots support for a particular political position.

Both organizations are led by Kristol and Sarah Longwell, a Never Trumper who is also the publisher The Bulwark, a neocon website she cofounded in 2018 with Charlie Sykes and there he is again Bill Kristol. Defending Democracy Together's other projects include "Republicans Against Trump," "Republicans For Voting Rights," "Republicans For The Rule Of Law," as well as a pro-immigration entity and another that promotes alarmism about Russian tweets.

Kristol and Longwell's hopeless effort to materially change the Ukraine poll numbers centers on a collection of video testimonials from self-identified Republicans who want the US government to redistribute even more wealth to Raytheon, General Dynamics and Northrop Grumman in the name of fighting Russia - as if American security had anything at all to do with which government controls the Donbas region.

The ad campaign will be delivered on television, billboards and online. A TV spot will run during the first Republican presidential debate on Wednesday, August 23.

Longwell told the Washington Post that the "real drop-off in support for Ukraine" is one the most "alarming trends" of the past two years. An August CNN/SSRS poll found that 71% of Republicans oppose new funding for the Ukraine war, while 62% of Democrats support it.

Compounding our schadenfreude over the neocons' mounting Ukraine misery, Longwell adds, "It was alarming in the focus groups to see so many Republican voters talk about Ukraine or [Ukrainian President Volodymyr] Zelensky in disparaging terms.”

Perpetuating an establishment-fertilized fiction, the Washington Post credulously refers to Kristol's clique as "a conservative group." However, rank-and-file Republicans are increasingly realizing that foreign interventionism springs from a decidedly non-conservative belief in the power of government central planning - a belief that rank-and-file Republicans resist in most other fields of endeavor.

As George Will wrote way back in 2005, "Conservatism seems to be saying government can't run Amtrak, but it can run the Middle East." Not so much anymore: The Kristol-backed Iraq war sapped Republicans' interest in interventionism, not only in the Middle East but in Ukraine and beyond.

Border Numbers Explode as July Migrant Apprehensions Jump 33 Percent

The apprehension of migrants along the southwest border in July jumped more than 33 percent from last month’s drop. Border Patrol agents apprehended nearly 137,000 migrants who crossed the border between ports of entry. This brought the total for the year to 1.65 million migrants.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection released its July Southwest Land Border Encounters report showing a dramatic spike in apprehensions by agents between ports of entry. In July, Border Patrol agents apprehended 136,652 migrants in the nine southwest border sectors.

In June, migrant apprehensions dropped briefly to less than 100,000 for the first time since the first full month of the Biden administration. The numbers bounced right back despite the scorching July heat along the southwestern U.S. border with Mexico. July’s numbers represent a 33 percent increase over June.

A chart from USAFacts.org shows the massive increase in migrant encounters after President Joe Biden took office in January 2021. This chart reflects encounters through the end of June.

The trend is continuing into August. Through the first 15 days of August, Border Patrol agents apprehended more than 83,000 migrants, according to unofficial Border Patrol reports obtained by Breitbart. Approximately 50,000 of those entered through the five Texas-based border sectors, Breitbart Texas reported.

The El Paso and Tucson Sectors remain the only southwest border sectors showing a year-over-year increase in apprehensions — 59 and 29 percent, respectively.

Of the 132,652 migrants apprehended in July, 62,446 were classified as single adults. Family units accounted for 60,161 of the apprehensions, up by more than 40 percent from last year. Border Patrol agents apprehended more than 10,000 unaccompanied minors in July.

Migrants from Mexico accounted for the largest demographic group with more than 36,000 apprehensions. Hondurans and Guatemalans followed with more than 23,000 and 21,000, respectively. Migrants from countries other than Mexico and the Central American Northern Triangle countries accounted for more than 49,000 apprehensions. This is up by more than 36 percent over last July.

The group finds apartments for the migrant invaders and helps them apply for Social Security, according to records obtained by NATIONAL FILE. The Soros-funded group has received millions of dollars in total donations from wealthy benefactors including Pfizer, George Soros’ Open Society Foundations, Bloomberg Philanthropies, BlackRock, and the social-transformation arm of Google.

The International Rescue Committee’s board of directors is co-chaired by the Obama administration’s Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner and counts Obama administration Homeland Security secretary Janet Napolitano on its board. BlackRock chairman Larry Fink serves on the Board of Directors, and so does Pfizer executive vice president Sally Susman. Longtime neocon operative Henry Kissinger officially serves as an adviser to the organization, as does former Bush administration official Condoleezza Rice. The group has numerous offices worldwide, including one in northwest Washington, D.C.

According to the International Rescue Committee’s 2020 annual report obtained by NATIONAL FILE, the International Rescue Commitee has received at least $20 million in lifetime contributions from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and at least $5 million in lifetime contributions from George Soros’ Open Society Foundations, including at least $500,000 in that fiscal year. The International Rescue Committee defines refugees as “people fleeing violence and persecution—in Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Democratic Republic of Congo, and other countries in crisis. They are seeking safety and the chance to move their lives forward.” The International Rescue Committee also notes that “With funds provided through the Department of State’s Reception and Placement (R&P) program, refugees are provided with safe, sanitary and affordable housing and basic furniture and household supplies upon arrival in New Jersey.”

According to an International Rescue Committee volunteer job posting from Elizabeth, New Jersey obtained by NATIONAL FILE, the Soros-funded group is desperate to get migrant “refugees” processed into the American system and to get government money into their hands. According to the application:

“The Refugee Resettlement Volunteer will assist case management staff in providing reception and placement services to newly arrived refugees as they adjust to their new lives in the US. (S)he will play a key role in helping refugee families access needed benefits and services within their first month to six months in the United States. The Volunteer will also perform a series of clerical and administrative duties to ensure client files are kept up to date.

Less than 24 hours after a special counsel was named to probe Hunter Biden’s alleged tax and gun crimes, and while GOP investigators continued to search his bank records for signs of influence-peddling, the first son was begging the Big Guy upstairs for justice – as he led a public prayer at his nephew’s bar mitzvah.

The Aug. 12 trip to Marietta, Georgia brought Biden, 53, and wife Melissa to a suburban synagogue for the coming-of-age ceremony of Jayden Cohen, 13, the son of Melissa’s brother Davan.

“Our God and God of our ancestors,” Biden beseeched the Almighty in the traditional “Prayer for the Country” at the shabbat morning service of Congregation Etz Chaim, Hebrew for “tree of life.”

“Pour out your blessings upon [our] leaders and judges,” Biden read — including, presumably, his father President Biden, as well as the Delaware federal judge who rejected his sweetheart plea deal last month.

“Help them understand the rules of justice.”

“Grant us the knowledge to judge justly,” he added later in the lengthy invocation.

Biden — whose performance was captured on the synagogue’s livestream and posted to social media — dressed like a schlub for his nephew’s big event.

The nominal Catholic, the only male relative to attend sans necktie, fiddled repeatedly with a baseball-patterned yarmulke pinned to his head and kept a traditional tallit prayer shawl scrunched askew over his shoulders.

Visibly unpracticed in his role, Biden neglected to take a prayer book to the podium, forcing Rabbi Daniel Dorsch to lend his own.

And much like his father President Biden, who has made a habit of losing his sense of direction onstage, he milled about the sanctuary in confusion when his prayer was complete.

He was not introduced by name, but was called to the lower bimah — part of the synagogue’s sanctuary area — with a group of Jayden’s family members and friends who had been chosen to lead the congregation in various prayers.

But members were clearly familiar with the Cohen family’s White House ties.

A Guatemalan migrant admitted into the United States by border chief Alejandro Mayorkas has allegedly raped and murdered the 11-year-old daughter of another economic migrant in Texas.

The New York Post reported on April 18 on the suspected murderer of Maria Gonzalez:

Guatemalan migrant Juan Carlos Garcia Rodriguez, 18, is wanted for questioning related to the shocking crime, Pasadena officials said.

Rodriguez lived in the same [Texas] apartment complex as Gonzalez but has since disappeared, police said.

The alleged murderer was admitted in January via the loosely managed Unaccompanied Alien Child (UAC) loophole, according to NewsNation.com: “At the time, he was only 17, so Garcia-Rodriguez was turned over to Health and Human Services custody and released because he had a sponsor in Louisiana.”

Ex-Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz Charged for Lying to Parliament, Faces Three Years in Prison

Former Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz was charged on Friday with giving false statements to parliament, the penalty for which is up to three years in prison.

Sebastian Kurz, who became the youngest ever Chancellor of Austria in 2017 at the age of 30, was once dubbed as a political ‘Wunderkind’ before being forced to resign in 2021 amid a series of corruption scandals.

On Friday, the Economic and Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (WKStA) released a 108-page criminal complaint against the former chancellor, alleging that he had given false statements before a parliamentary into an alleged corruption scandal that collapsed his first government in 2019.

Besides Kurz, his former chief of staff Bernhard Bonelli and a third person were indicted at the state court in Vienna. The trial, which is set to commence by October, will focus on whether Kurz lied to the parliament over his involvement in the appointment of former general secretary of the finance ministry to the state holding company Öbag, the Kurier reports.

The ex-chancellor had claimed that while he knew of the appointment of his close political ally to the position, he had no role in the decision. Yet the public prosecutor’s office claims otherwise, citing seised chat messages indicating Kurz’s involvement.

According to Austrian criminal law expert Robert Kert, it was not illegal for the chancellor to have been involved in the decision to appoint Schmid to the board of Öbag, which manages several large companies in the country including telecom and energy giants.

It would be illegal for Kurz to have lied to the parliament about his involvement in the decision, however. Kert also said that the case will not hinge on whether Kurz intentionally lied, but merely on whether he “seriously thought it possible” that he was misleading the parliament.

Schmid has also reportedly told prosecutors that Kurz was aware of public funds being misappropriated between 2016 and 2018 to allegedly bribe news media organisations in Austria in exchange for favourable coverage of his liberal-conservative Austrian People’s Party (ÖVP) including manipulation of public polls to create the perception that Kurz’ government was more popular than it was in reality.

Kurz is facing a second trial for the media scandal, however, he has yet to be charged in connection with any criminality. According to prosecutors, the former chancellor was not directly involved in orchestrating the payoffs to the media, however, they claim that he instigated the acts and was the beneficiary of it.

Responding to the charges levied on Friday, Kurz, who has since gone on to take a Silicon Valley gig with Peter Thiel, said on social media that it was “not surprising” that prosecutors “decided to file a criminal complaint despite 30 exculpatory testimonies.”

“The accusations are false and we look forward to the truth finally coming to light and the accusations proving to be unfounded in court,” he continued.

“It is remarkable, however, that the media are once again informed about the status of the proceedings before those affected, and this is not entirely uncritical in terms of the rule of law,” Kurz concluded.

Michael Jackson lawsuits alleging sex abuse can be revived, US appeals court says

Two men who allege they were sexually abused as children by Michael Jackson can revive a lawsuit against his companies, judges at a US court ruled.

Wade Robson and James Safechuck, both in their 40s, claim Jackson abused them for years while they were boys.

They can now pursue previously blocked lawsuits against the singer's companies. They say these companies had a responsibility to protect them.

Lawyers for Jackson, who died in 2009, maintain his innocence.

Mr Robson and Mr Safechuck claim they were abused by Jackson in the late 1980s and early 1990s while staying at his Neverland ranch.

The accusations featured in the 2019 documentary Leaving Neverland, which Jackson's family described as a "public lynching".

In 2020, a Los Angeles judge ruled Mr Safechuck could not sue Jackson's businesses, saying the companies didn't have a duty of care to him.

A year later, the same judge ruled against Mr Robson on similar grounds.

But on Friday, an appeals court in California disagreed, ruling that "a corporation that facilitates the sexual abuse of children by one of its employees is not excused from an affirmative duty to protect those children merely because it is solely owned by the perpetrator of the abuse".

"It would be perverse to find no duty based on the corporate defendant having only one shareholder," the court judgement said. "And so we reverse the judgments entered for the corporations."

Vince Finaldi, a lawyer for Mr Safechuck and Mr Robson, said that the court had overturned previous "incorrect rulings in these cases, which were against California law and would have set a dangerous precedent that endangered children".

Jonathan Steinsapir, a lawyer for Jackson's estate, said he was "fully confident" Jackson was innocent, saying the allegations were "contrary to all credible evidence and independent corroboration".

A new paper published Aug. 17th in the research journal Icarus offers dramatic proof that solar activity can affect planetary weather. The big surprise: That planet is Neptune, 2.5 billion miles from the sun. Twenty-six years of images taken by the Hubble Space Telescope show bright clouds forming in sync with the 11-year solar cycle:

The connection between Neptune and solar activity is surprising to planetary scientists because Neptune is our solar system's farthest major planet and receives only 0.1% of the sunlight Earth receives. Yet Neptune's cloudy weather seems to be driven by solar activity, and not the planet's four seasons, which each last approximately 40 years.

"This is extremely exciting and unexpected," says Erandi Chavez, a graduate student at Harvard-Smithsonian's Center for Astrophysics, who led the study when she was a student at UC Berkeley.

The research team confirmed Hubble's results using data from the Webb Space Telescope, the Keck Observatory, and the Lick Observatory. The link between sunspots and Neptune's clouds appears to be solar ultraviolet (UV) radiation, which peaks when sunspot counts are high.

"Our findings support the theory that the sun's UV rays, when strong enough, may be triggering a photochemical reaction that produces Neptune's clouds," says Imke de Pater, emeritus professor of astronomy at UC Berkeley and a senior co-author of the study.

Based on the data so far, it seems to take about two years for Neptune's clouds to fully form once the solar cycle reaches its peak. Solar Cycle 25 is rising now with a peak expected in 2024. This means Neptune's cloudy season is about to begin-a development amateur astronomers may be able to observe. Stay tuned.

US must reduce aid given to Israel, Republican candidate Ramaswamy says

Ramaswamy’s popularity is on the rise and he is now close behind Ron DeSantis in national polls.

Vivek Ramaswamy, a long-shot contender for the Republican presidential nomination, said in an interview that the United States should reduce its aid to Israel.

In an interview on Rumble, a platform popular with far-right viewers, Ramaswamy said Israel should not get more aid than its Middle Eastern neighbors after 2028, the year that the current US aid package of $38 billion expires.

Later on Friday, he was referred to as a "promising candidate" by Elon Musk, the owner of X, formerly known as Twitter. Musk reacted to a post shared by former FOX News presenter Tucker Carlson showing a clip from an interview conducted with Ramaswamy.

"Vivek Ramaswamy is the youngest Republican presidential candidate ever. He's worth listening to," Carlson wrote on X.

He said that he would expand the Abraham Accords, the normalization deals between Israel and Arab countries. After Israel is “more integrated” with its neighboring countries, Ramaswamy said, Israel should be able to stand “on its own two feet” financially.

“Come 2028, that additional aid won’t be necessary in order to still have the kind of stability that we’d actually have in the Middle East by having Israel more integrated in with its partners,” he said.

The policy point separates Ramaswamy from his two main rivals vying for the nomination — Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis, who are staunch supporters of Israel and its military. But it puts him in line with a growing number of voices from across the ideological spectrum who say Israel should no longer get as much from the United States as it has.

Ramaswamy, a 38-year-old biotech entrepreneur, and investor, appeared on comedian-turned-podcaster Russell Brand’s video show on Rumble. The comments on aid to Israel were a response to a viewer's question.

He argued that Israel should not receive preferential treatment from the United States, even though “our relationship with Israel has advanced American interests” over time. “There’s no North Star commitment to any one country, other than the United States of America,” Ramaswamy said.

Ramaswamy’s popularity is on the rise and he is now close behind DeSantis in national polls. A Fox News survey published Wednesday found 11% of respondents support him, compared to 16% for DeSantis and 53% for Trump.

Any anons out there even with a simple understanding can be helpful. There is SO MUCH back channel comms happening every single day that does help guide. Helps in providing proofs, future proving past, etc. Never underestimate the importance of all of that.

“Lost a bet with Karl,” Fetterman posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, with a selfie showing off a blocky pair of eyeglasses, a bushy new mustache — and the disappearance of his signature gray goatee.

The former Pennsylvania lieutenant governor was left with hearing and other cognitive issues after suffering a stroke in May of last year, just before the Keystone State’s Democratic Senate primary — then concealed the extent of his disability from voters.

A June poll found that 50% of Pennsylvania voters disapprove of Fetterman’s job performance, while just 39% approve.

The latest reporting from inside CNN, the basement-rated fake news outlet that will almost certainly be sold for parts within the next few years, suggests that the outlet’s leadership is not pleased with Kaitlan Collins, nor with the ratings of The Source.

CNN should’ve listened to me. After all, my advice is as insightful as it is free. Nurse Ratched was never going to succeed as an anchor, much less a prime-time anchor, much less the 9:00 p.m. anchor. Collins has all the appeal of a first wife, so why put her directly against MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow on Monday nights and Alex Wagner Tuesday through Friday nights?

Collins is a left-wing extremist with zero charm. Maddow and Wagner are equally left-wing but more pleasant to spend time with.

So what did Collins have to offer?

Only downside, baby. And when you’re talking about CNNLOL, the downside is all that’s for sale anymore.

It is currently unclear what Collins’ fate will be now that Licht is gone from the network, but CNN’s new leadership is reportedly unhappy with Collins and The Source’s ratings.

Puck reported that The Source “has shown little substantive growth” since its inception in early June and that Collins “draws roughly a third of the audience that Rachel Maddow and Alex Wagner average on MSNBC.”

Also shocking was the outlet’s report that Collins only draws a “quarter of the audience Sean Hannity draws on Fox News.”

“Other CNN insiders reportedly questioned how long Collins can remain in the 9 p.m. timeslot,” continues the report.

Here’s the worst of it: “Kaitlin Collins will go down as Chris Licht’s original sin.” Ouch.

Chris Licht, of course, is the recently removed CNNLOL CEO. What was he thinking? Collins had failed in her role as a morning co-anchor. Collins had failed spectacularly during her gloriously devastating role as the moderator of former President Trump’s triumphant town hall. So, as is always the case in the corporate media, Collins failed all the way up to CNN’s plum primetime slot.

Here’s the thing…

It doesn’t matter what CNN does with Nurse Ratched or with the 9:00 p.m. slot. CNN is doomed. CNN cannot survive on merit, which is advertising revenue based on ratings. No one watches CNN. The fake news network’s survival is wholly dependent on the affirmative action of cable TV carriage fees, and that affirmative action is quickly coming to an end.

It gets worse for these liars. A few years ago, CNN’s ratings were terrible, but it could still make waves and influence the news cycle. Today, CNN cannot even do that. CNN has no influence on the daily narrative. It is the proverbial tree falling in the forest with no one listening. Why? Because no one believes anything CNN reports. Why? Read on…

Apocalyptic scenes have emerged from Washington State where wildfires prompted the evacuation of thousands and 3,000 acres were scorched, killing at least one. The Gray Fire started at about midday on Friday and a few hours later surged through 4.7 square miles of grass, timber and wheat pushed by 35 miles per hour winds, the Washington State Department of Natural Resources said. Medical Lake and Four Lakes, about 15 miles southwest of Spokane, have a combined population of 5,000 - the local mayor warned residents to 'get out now!' as the blaze continued to threaten those communities.
