A federal appeals court delivered a major free speech victory on Tuesday, ruling that Washington, D.C., officials “selectively” enforced a statute to arrest pro-life activists but not Black Lives Matter protesters in 2020.

In the summer of 2020, thousands of Black Lives Matter protesters flooded D.C., and over several weeks, they covered the streets, sidewalks, and storefronts with paint and chalk. While these markings violated the District’s defacement ordinance, no protesters were arrested. However, district police officers were quick to arrest two pro-life advocates in a smaller protest for chalking “Black Pre-Born Lives Matter” on a public sidewalk outside of a D.C. Planned Parenthood facility.

“The government may not enforce the laws in a manner that picks winners and losers in public debates,” reads the D.C. Circuit opinion penned by Judge Neomi Rao, reversing a lower court’s decision. “It would undermine the First Amendment’s protections for free speech if the government could enact a content-neutral law and then discriminate against disfavored viewpoints under the cover of prosecutorial discretion.”

Virgin Islands Attorney General Denise George vigorously prosecuted Jeffrey Epstein-related cases until she was unexpectedly fired by V.I. Governor Albert Bryan Jr. last December.

The sudden dismissal sent shockwaves throughout the islands and made international headlines, with many speculating that Bryan’s decision was shaped by her legal pursuit of Epstein’s allies. Just a month before her surprise ouster, George had won a $105 million settlement against Epstein’s estate and filed an additional case against Epstein’s alleged allies on Wall Street.

But it wasn’t the first time Bryan may have leaned on George on behalf of the convicted pedophile.

In July, George testified under oath that Bryan had personally lobbied her in 2019 to issue a special waiver to the territory’s sex offender law so that Epstein could travel freely, without special notifications or restrictions.

The demand shocked her, as Epstein was well-known at the time as a convicted sex offender who had reportedly abused dozens of young women and girls, with many victims exploited in the Virgin Islands.

“Just the fact that he as a sex offender got the governor to come to me for that request,” said George, that was “unusual.”

The former attorney general added that Epstein appeared to be “flexing his political influence over or with the governor in an effort to get a favorable result in what I considered to be definitely a law enforcement issue.”

George said that Bryan repeatedly pressured her to issue the sex offender travel waiver to Epstein. Asked if she found the outreach to be “improper,” she responded, “I do.”

George also noted that she later heard from Epstein’s attorney and tax specialist, Erika Kellerhals, who also lobbied for the special waiver. As I reported last month, Kellerhals previously employed Del. Stacey Plaskett, D-V.I., a firebrand House Democrat who misled reporters about her extensive ties to the convicted pedophile.

Blatant cheating, such as shutting out Republican observers at the TCF Center on Election Night 2020, is not all that makes the 2020 election suspect. Michigan is losing population relative to the rest of the nation, growing by just 193,691 residents in the 2010s according to the U.S. Census Bureau, which is doing all it can to prop up so-called blue states and restrict the expansion of red ones.

Bad trade deals have crippled Michigan’s trademark economic opportunities, and have restricted the growth of the state, which has remained stagnant since the 1970s. Thanks to this stagnation, the state has dropped an electoral vote for the 2024 and 2028 presidential elections. Since population growth feeds voter registration growth, one might think Michigan is going to see predictably flat voter registration growth, especially since the Democrats are so well-known for crippling industry that Michigan voters picked Donald Trump to be the first GOP nominee to carry the state since 1988.

Muskegon County, the state’s 12th largest county, was in the news this week, with The Gateway Pundit laying them out cold, highlighting a single activist seeking to dump off more than 8,000 fraudulent voter registrations on the same day. A review of the county’s voter rolls revealed 32,000 more registrations in the county than seem plausible based on a variety of factors. Keep in mind, these are the same voter rolls used to facilitate endless mail-in ballot requests, and which populate the electronic elections infrastructure. I had pegged Muskegon for an easy Trump flip, which would have been the first GOP presidential win there since 1988.

Biden managed to eke out a “win” in Muskegon, aided by 12,643 fraudulent votes, minimum, in the county – according to my methodology. Muskegon saw its voter roll swell by 8,424 net new registrations in 2008, from 121,992 to 130,416, in anticipation of what I like to call Obama-mania. Of course, the state swung 13 points to the left from 2004, and Muskegon mimicked that movement. Once that buzz wore off, the roll shrank by 737 in 2012, and then by 880 more in 2016. The reason is obvious – because the non-college white voter stopped being loyal to Democrats in Obama’s reelection campaign, and even more so when Clinton topped the party ticket in 2016; yet, somehow, 11,837 net new registrations appeared ahead of the Trump-Biden matchup in 2020, joining the rest of the waste highlighted above.

(AP) — Transgender youth in North Carolina lost access Wednesday to gender-affirming treatments after the Republican-led General Assembly overrode the Democratic governor’s vetoes of that legislation and other bills touching on gender in sports and LGBTQ+ instruction in the classroom.

GOP supermajorities in the House and Senate enacted — over Gov. Roy Cooper’s veto — a bill barring medical professionals from providing hormone therapy, puberty-blocking drugs and surgical gender-transition procedures to anyone under 18, with limited medical exceptions.

The policy takes effect immediately, but minors who had begun treatment before Aug. 1 may continue receiving that care if their doctors deem it medically necessary and their parents consent.

North Carolina becomes the 22nd state to enact legislation restricting or banning gender-affirming medical care for trans minors. The Pioneer Mill Company/Lahaina Ice Company (PMCo) Bookkeeper’s House on Front Street in Lahaina is a Plantation Vernacular dwelling. It is significant under Criterion A as part of a community development plan focusing on PMCo’s upper and middle management sites. It is also significant under Criterion C as an example of a Craftsman-inspired Plantation Vernacular style dwelling frequently built for employees of sugar and pineapple companies. It is of single-wall or plank frame construction, has an exterior finish of vertical tongue and groove wood siding as well as hipped and shed roofs of corrugated metal. The house was rehabilitated from 2021-2022. The front and side exterior facades were restored, additions made to the rear (southwest) façade in the 1960s were removed, a rear lanai was rebuilt, original fenestration of the rear second floor façade was restored, along with a majority of interior finishes.

Seattle-based Integrate says it has raised $3.4 million in funding and secured a $1.25 million contract from the U.S. Space Force to boost its program management software platform into a higher orbit.

The year-old startup has also brought Firefly Aerospace on board as a customer.

The newly announced seed funding round was led by Hyperplane, with participation from Riot Ventures, Ravelin Capital and John Capodilupo, former chief technology officer and co-founder of Whoop. This follows a pre-seed investment round that brought in $970,000 last year.

Integrate said the fresh funding will go toward expanding the company’s team, which currently consists of eight full-time employees and a handful of contractors.

“With our new partners at Hyperplane, Riot Ventures and beyond, we have the resources to accelerate development and truly meet the needs of all companies pursuing ambitious hardware development programs,” Conafay said. “This funding and customer validation is critical to helping us bring modern collaboration tools to the hardware world.”

One of Integrate’s early adopters is the Mission Manifest Office, which is part of the U.S. Space Force’s Space Systems Command at Los Angeles Air Force Base in California. The newly announced $1.25 million Space Force contract calls on Integrate to provide the office with software for launch mission management and coordination.

Defense applications for Integrate’s software mesh well with the background of the company’s co-founders: Conafay was formerly a specialist on the team supporting the Air Force’s Airborne Warning and Control System, while fellow co-founder and chief architect Paul Reesman was a four-tour Army Ranger.

Hockey commentator Don Cherry fired after rant about immigrants

Don Cherry, Canada’s most polarizing, flamboyant and opinionated hockey commentator, was fired Monday after a TV rant in which he said new immigrants were not honoring the country’s fallen soldiers.

Rogers Sportsnet President Bart Yabsley announced the decision following discussions with the 85-year-old broadcaster.

“It has been decided it is the right time for him to immediately step down,” Yabsley said in a statement. “During the broadcast, he made divisive remarks that do not represent our values or what we stand for.”

On Saturday night, Cherry derided immigrants, saying, “You people you love our way of life, you love our milk and honey, at least you can pay a couple bucks for a poppy or something like that. These guys paid for your way of life that you enjoy in Canada, these guys paid the biggest price.”

The tradition of wearing poppies in Canada honors the country’s war dead on Remembrance Day, which was observed Monday.

Cherry has provided commentary following the first intermission of “Hockey Night in Canada” for more than three decades. He said late Monday he would not be apologizing.

“I know what I said and I meant it. Still do. Everybody in Canada should wear a poppy to honor our fallen soldiers,” Cherry told the Canadian Press.

Cherry denied he was singling out visible minorities.

“I did not say minorities, I did not say immigrants. If you watch ‘Coach’s Corner,’ I did not say that. I said ‘everybody.’ And I said ‘you people,’ ” Cherry said.“Irish, Scotch, anybody that’s newcomers to Canada, and they should wear a poppy to honor our dead from the past, whether they’re Scotch or Irish or English, or where they come from.”

Cherry added he could have stayed on “if I had turned into a tame robot who nobody would recognize.”

“I can’t do that after 38 years,” he said

Known for his outlandish suits, Cherry often mangled the names of foreign-born players over the years and occasionally weighed in with thoughts on politics. He has been a part of the Hockey Night broadcast since 1980.

The United States Space Force has activated its first and only unit dedicated to targeting other nations' satellites and the ground stations that support them.

The 75th Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Squadron (ISRS) was activated on Aug. 11 at Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado. This unit is part of Space Delta 7, an element of the U.S. Space Force tasked with providing intelligence on adversary space capabilities. It'll do things like analyze the capabilities of potential targets, locate and track these targets as well as participate in "target engagement," which presumably refers to destroying or disrupting adversary satellites, the ground stations that support them and transmissions sent between the two.

Lt. Col. Travis Anderson, who leads the squadron, said in a Space Force statement that the idea of a dedicated space targeting unit has been years in the making. "Today is a monumental time in the history of our service," Anderson said. "The idea of this unit began four years ago on paper and has probably been in the minds of several U.S. Air Force intelligence officers even longer."

The unit's patch was also unveiled at its activation ceremony, revealing it to be adorned with a grim reaper that has a delta shape for a nose. According to a Space Force statement, the delta represents "historic ties to the earliest days of the U.S. Air Force space community" as well as "all variations of space vehicles" that support the U.S. military.

Master Sgt. Desiree Cabrera, 75th ISRS operations superintendent, said the new unit will revolutionize the targeting capabilities of not just the Space Force, but also the entire U.S. military: "Not only are we standing up the sole targeting squadron in the U.S. Space Force, we are changing the way targeting is done across the joint community when it comes to space and electromagnetic warfare."

The 75th ISRS will also analyze adversary space capabilities including "counterspace force threats," according to the Space Force's statement. Counterspace forces refer to adversary systems aimed at preventing the U.S. from using its own satellites during a conflict.

These systems range from ground-based lasers that can blind optical sensors on satellites to devices that can jam signals or conduct cyberattacks to hack into adversary satellite systems.

These aren't limited to America's adversaries; the U.S. Space Force has conducted multiple training exercises to practice its own "live fire" satellite jamming and "simulated on-orbit combat training."

As militaries worldwide become increasingly reliant on space-based assets like navigation and communication satellites, early warning missile tracking systems and targeting sensors, the Space Force's and other nations' militaries will no doubt be increasing their abilities to monitor both defensive and offensive adversary capabilities in Earth's orbit.

Company makes a profit—including from US government funds—through a business model that leads to defunding and censoring of independent media

As difficult as it is to run an independent media outlet, there’s a company making it substantially harder. Its name is NewsGuard. The company claims to rate online content, including from media outlets, for trustworthiness, but a closer look shows it does much more than that—its business model produces censorious pressure on news organizations. An investigation by The Epoch Times has revealed troubling questions regarding the quality of and the agenda behind NewsGuard's offerings.

Founded in 2018, NewsGuard dispatches its “analysts” to prepare reviews of online content creators and to issue ratings “to help readers have more context for the news they read online.” The ratings display as small badges with scores next to search results.

That, however, represents only a small part of the picture. The bigger picture shows that NewsGuard's most potent function stems from its relationships with advertising agencies, which have steered their clients to cut off advertising dollars for content creators disfavored by the company's "analyst" reviews. As it so happens, corporate, establishment-friendly media tend to receive high scores while independent media skeptical of the establishment tend to receive low scores, even if they adhere to high journalistic standards.

The future of space operations took a step forward, July 26-28, 2023, when Space Training and Readiness Command’s Space Delta 10 hosted the U.S. Space Force’s inaugural Tactics Development Conference (TACDEVCON) at the National Air and Space Intel Center, Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.

Drawing a crowd of 240 attendees, the conference aimed to present the previous year's findings from the U.S. Space Force’s Mission Focused Working Groups (MFWGs) and Tactics Improvement Proposals (TIPs) to senior leadership.

U.S. Space Force Col. Jack Fulmer, Delta 10 commander, highlighted TACDEVCON's origins, as the conference evolved from the Air and Space Forces Weapons and Tactics Conference, narrowing its focus to specialized space-related mission areas.

“TACDEVCON provided us a dedicated forum for discussing the advancement of tactics, techniques, and procedures across the Space Force enterprise,” Fulmer said. “It's instrumental in synchronizing the efforts of the mission-focused groups and fosters a hub for groundbreaking ideas and strategic progression.”

Fulmer further elaborated on the uniqueness of the U.S. Space Force's challenges.

“We’re operating in a warfighting domain unlike any previous ones,” he said. “Our success hinges on adapting to these unique conditions.”

The first TACDEVCON resulted in various U.S. Space Force TIPs earmarked for further evaluation, testing, and validation. Also, seven MFWG topics received endorsement for resources and development and will be out-briefed at TACDEVCON 2024.

Emphasizing the conference's collaborative nature, STARCOM leaders described the event as an integrated Space Force initiative, underlining the significance of feedback from Guardians at all levels of the service.

U.S. Space Force Chief Master Sgt. Karmann-Monique Pogue, Delta 10's senior enlisted leader, described the conference as a catalyst for the Space Force, propelling its advancement.

“TACDEVCON channels frontline Guardian insights directly to our senior leadership,” Pogue said. “This streamlined communication and teamwork foster advancements in our tactics development process.”

Blood factor can turn back time in the aging brain

Platelets are behind the cognitive benefits of young blood, exercise and the longevity hormone klotho. In a remarkable convergence, scientists have discovered that the same blood factor is responsible for the cognitive enhancement that results from young blood transfusion, the longevity hormone klotho, and exercise.

In a trio of papers appearing in Nature, Nature Aging and Nature Communications, two UCSF teams and a team from the University of Queensland (Australia), identify platelet factor 4 (PF4) as a common messenger of each of these interventions.

As its name suggests, PF4 is made by platelets, a type of blood cell that alerts the immune system when there is a wound and helps to form clots. It turns out that PF4 is also a cognitive enhancer. Under its influence, old mice recover the sharpness of middle age and young mice get smarter.

"Young blood, klotho, and exercise can somehow tell your brain, 'Hey, improve your function,'" said Saul Villeda, Ph.D., associate director of the UCSF Bakar Aging Research Institute and the senior author on the Nature paper. "With PF4, we're starting to understand the vocabulary behind this rejuvenation."

Villeda led the study on young blood, which was published in Nature. Dena Dubal, MD, Ph.D., UCSF professor and David A. Coulter Endowed Chair in Aging and Neurodegenerative Disease, led the study on klotho, which was published in Nature Aging. Tara Walker, Ph.D., professor of neuroscience at the University of Queensland, led the study on exercise, which was published in Nature Communications.

They committed to releasing their findings at the same time to make the case for PF4 from three different angles.

"When we realized we had independently and serendipitously found the same thing, our jaws dropped," Dubal said. "The fact that three separate interventions converged on platelet factors truly highlights the validity and reproducibility of this biology. The time has come to pursue platelet factors in brain health and cognitive enhancement."

Platelets quell the inflammation of an aging brain and body

Villeda is an expert on parabiosis, an experiment in which two animals are linked together by their blood circulation. When a young, sprightly animal is connected to an aging animal, the aging animal becomes more youthful–its muscles more resilient, its brain more capable of learning.

In 2014, Villeda found that plasma, consisting of blood minus red blood cells, mimicked parabiosis: young blood plasma, injected into old animals, was restorative. When his team compared young plasma to old plasma, they found it contained much more PF4.

Just injecting PF4 into old animals was about as restorative as young plasma. It calmed down the aged immune system in the body and the brain. Old animals treated with PF4 performed better on a variety of memory and learning tasks.

"PF4 actually causes the immune system to look younger, it's decreasing all of these active pro-aging immune factors, leading to a brain with less inflammation, more plasticity and eventually more cognition," Villeda said. "We're taking 22-month-old mice, equivalent to a human in their 70s, and PF4 is bringing them back to function close to their late 30s, early 40s."

A number of the deaths are also still 'under investigation,' a spokesperson for the base said. A Military.com investigation suggested that 'they had been informed of deaths connected to base this year including potential suicides.'

It's not clear how many of the deaths were service members or did any particular job at the base, which has over 30,000 personnel on site.

In our own search, we could only find Senior Airperson Tyler Jo Law, who died on the base May 28, according to an obituary.

The obituary did not name a cause of death.

Government employees, contractors and civilian all make up the Oklahoma base's workforce.

A source told Military.com that there were potential COVID-19 deaths in addition to suicides.

'We are deeply saddened by the losses we have experienced at Tinker Air Force Base,' Col. Abby Ruscetta, the Tinker installation commander, said in a statement.

'Our focus moving forward is to let everyone know we value them, and we stand together as a team.'

Ann Stefanek, a spokesperson for the Air Force, said that the Department of Defense is responsible for any statistics highlighting suicides on bases but they are never released with specific numbers pertaining to each military branch.

There is also no law preventing an individual base releasing numbers of deaths.

14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution: Civil Rights (1868)

AMENDMENT XIV

Section 1.

All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

Section 2.

Representatives shall be apportioned among the several States according to their respective numbers, counting the whole number of persons in each State, excluding Indians not taxed. But when the right to vote at any election for the choice of electors for President and Vice-President of the United States, Representatives in Congress, the Executive and Judicial officers of a State, or the members of the Legislature thereof, is denied to any of the male inhabitants of such State, being twenty-one years of age, and citizens of the United States, or in any way abridged, except for participation in rebellion, or other crime, the basis of representation therein shall be reduced in the proportion which the number of such male citizens shall bear to the whole number of male citizens twenty-one years of age in such State.

Section 3.

No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

Section 4.

The validity of the public debt of the United States, authorized by law, including debts incurred for payment of pensions and bounties for services in suppressing insurrection or rebellion, shall not be questioned. But neither the United States nor any State shall assume or pay any debt or obligation incurred in aid of insurrection or rebellion against the United States, or any claim for the loss or emancipation of any slave; but all such debts, obligations and claims shall be held illegal and void.

Section 5.

The Congress shall have the power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article.

Court documents released by the Southern District Of New York on Tuesday revealed disgraced elitist pedophile Jeffrey Epstein connected Obama White House attorney Kathryn Ruemmler with JPMorgan Chase employees in 2019.

Epstein’s financial assistant reached out to the bank and recommended Ruemmler as a client, which the bank accepted despite having previously cut Epstein himself off as a client due to “red flags.”

Ruemmler has since moved on to become general counsel of Goldman Sachs after being Obama’s longest-serving White House general counsel.

The report comes in response to a lawsuit by the U.S. Virgin Islands government against JPMorgan for allegedly helping Epstein with the sex trafficking of young women to the Virgin Islands.

The court documents accuse JPMorgan of processing several wire payments from Epstein to several women and suggest the bank didn’t properly look into the Democrat insider’s suspicious background.

QAnon’s conspiracy theories are both bizarre and baseless: from the claim that Democrats are running a sex-trafficking ring through a pizza parlour, to the theory that Donald Trump is leading the fight against a cabal of paedophiles, and the story that JFK is returning from the dead more than 50 years after his assassination.

Now, the cult’s latest wild conspiracy centres around the death of its own leader.

Michael Protzman, the 60-year-old QAnon leader, died on 30 June after suffering “multiple blunt force injuries” in a dirt bike accident.

Protzman, who was known to his followers as Negative 48, was driving a dirt bike at the Meadow Valley Motocross track in Millville, Minnesota, when he crashed.

Around a week later he died from his injuries at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, the clinic confirmed to VICE News.

Or did he?

In the week since his untimely passing, QAnon members have refused to accept the death of their leader and instead claim the whole tragedy is a hoax.

An admin on the Telegram channel used by members of the group – who Protzman managed to convince Mr Trump is in fact JFK Jr in disguise – said they would be removing all mention of their leader’s death until they “have absolute verification”.

Another member was booted out of the Truth Social group for asking a question about Protzman’s condition, Vice reported.

One follower, Shelly Mullinax, who fell out with the QAnon leader prior to his death offered another theory as to his demise – suggesting that only a part of him had been killed in the dirt bike accident.

She told Vice that the good part of Protzman, who she said was also JFK in disguise, had survived the accident while the evil part of him had been killed.

He’s dead…

A new report released in June by the FBI concluded that the female and male Georgia Poll Workers who jammed stacks of ballots through voting machines numerous times on election night 2020 after observers were sent home — did nothing wrong! A secret grand jury has 12-23 US citizens that are given information and testimony from a prosecutor. The prosecutor is prosecuting a person, who has NO IDEA this is going on.

The jury decides if there is sufficient evidence/cause prosecute this person with a crime.

In which case they file a sealed indictment. It stays off the record and the person has no idea. They won’t know it until they are arrested.

The prosecutor is a Fed US Attorney, A County District Attorney, or State Attorney General.

I believe it’s being done this way because we are prosecuting organized crime (i.e. The RICO Act).

Everything has to be lined up. They can’t indict one person at a time because it would tip off the rest, causing a chain reaction.

When they unseal one, all gets unsealed to prosecute EVERYONE. Everyone gets arrested at the same time.

D.C. Circuit Hands Down Major Free Speech Victory for Pro-Life Group

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit has handed down a major victory for free speech against the District of Columbia. In Frederick Douglass Foundation v. District of Columbia, Judge Neomi Rao reversed district court judge James E. Boasberg who dismissed the challenge by pro-life protesters who alleged that they were treated differently from Black Lives Matter (BLM) protesters. The selective enforcement of city ordinances gave what Judge Rao called “a monopoly in expressing its views . . . the antithesis of constitutional guarantees.”

The contrast in how protesters were treated were raised by a few commentators and sites in prior years. In the summer of 2020, the city allowed thousands of Black Lives Matter protesters to take over streets in D.C. without any permit. The police watched as protesters wrote slogans and slurs on stores, streets, and sidewalks with paint and chalk. No one was arrested.

However, later two pro-life advocates in a protest in front of a D.C. Planned Parenthood facility were immediately arrested when they chalked “Black Pre-Born Lives Matter” on a public sidewalk.

Chief Judge Boasberg previously held that they had no right to challenge the selective enforcement of the laws. They simply had to plead guilty and accept that their views were not given the same official tolerance.

Judge Rao reversed the trial court and said this is precisely what the First Amendment is meant to prevent. The D.C. Circuit noted that such selection prosecution cases are based on one of the hardest claims prove: “Selective enforcement claims must clear a high hurdle. Because the lawful exercise of prosecutorial discretion does not violate the Constitution, disparate enforcement of a neutral ordinance based on viewpoint is unlawful only when the prosecutorial factors are similar, and ‘unlawful favoritism’ remains the predominant explanation for the government’s targets.”

While reaffirming the ruling under the Equal Protection Clause, the court reversed on free speech grounds:

The First Amendment prohibits government discrimination on the basis of viewpoint. “To permit one side … to have a monopoly in expressing its views … is the antithesis of constitutional guarantees.” City of Madison Joint Sch. Dist. No. 8 v. Wis. Emp. Relations Comm’n, 429 U.S. 167, 175–76 (1976). The protection for freedom of speech applies not only to legislation, but also to enforcement of the laws. This case concerns a constitutional challenge to the selective enforcement of the District of Columbia’s defacement ordinance against some viewpoints but not others.

In the summer of 2020, thousands of protesters flooded the streets of the District to proclaim “Black Lives Matter.” Over several weeks, the protesters covered streets, sidewalks, and storefronts with paint and chalk. The markings were ubiquitous and in open violation of the District’s defacement ordinance, yet none of the protesters were arrested. During the same summer, District police officers arrested two pro-life advocates in a smaller protest for chalking “Black Pre-Born Lives Matter” on a public sidewalk.

Viewpoint discrimination, whether by legislative enactment or executive action, violates the First Amendment. “Once a forum is opened up to assembly or speaking by some groups, government may not prohibit others from assembling or speaking.” Police Dep’t of Chi. v. Mosley, 408 U.S. 92, 96 (1972). We hold the Foundation has plausibly alleged the elements of a free speech selective enforcement claim. We may reasonably infer from the Foundation’s complaint, first, that its members were similarly situated to other protesters who were not arrested and, second, that the District engaged in viewpoint discrimination by enforcing the defacement ordinance against individuals chalking “Black Pre-Born Lives Matter” but not against individuals painting and chalking “Black Lives Matter.”

The First Amendment prohibits the government from favoring some speakers over others. Access to public fora must be open to everyone and to every message on the same terms. The District may act to prevent the defacement of public property, but it cannot open up its streets and sidewalks to some viewpoints and not others. During the summer of 2020, the District arrested individuals chalking “Black Pre-Born Lives Matter” on the sidewalk, while making no arrests against the many individuals marking “Black Lives Matter” on sidewalks, streets, and other property.”

The paradise island of Maui, Hawaii’s second-largest island, is reeling from a devastating wildfire tragedy that has left a staggering death toll that has now risen to 106. CBS New York’s Jordan Segundo and film team captured the pain and resilience of residents in the once-historic town of Lahaina.

Just a week ago, wildfires tore through the town, turning homes and memories into ash. "Everything is gone," lamented one local, capturing the collective sentiment. Fires have also plagued the other side of Maui in the town of Kula.

On Wednesday, many residents ventured back for the first time since the disaster, having to confront the ruins of what once was their home. Yet, in the midst of despair, one resident expressed gratitude: "Thank God I have my husband, and I still survived."

Unfortunately, we’re now finding out that news for Lahaina and Kula residents has gotten “even worse.”

Shelby Thomson, Founder of Unjected, reported from Maui that the water supply is compromised.

“We're experiencing, now, an issue with the water supply. We're being told that the water is not safe to drink. It's also not safe after boiling, which is quite frightening. And we don't know how long these restrictions are going to be lasting on the public.”

Thomson also reported that the potable water brought in by the government is “making people ill.”

“We're also hearing that the potable water being brought in by government officials is making people ill for whatever reason. They're experiencing fevers, chills, and other ailments from drinking this potable water that's been left. So I really urge you guys to please be careful on ingesting this water, and where you're getting it from.”

One Facebook user reported getting “super sick” from drinking the government-provided water. “Extremely ill, 104 fevers, and still ill/careful.”

Energized by its central star IC 1396 (left), is hundreds of light-years across and some 3,000 light-years distant. Located a similar distance from planet Earth, the bright knots and swept back ridges of emission of Sh2-129 on the right suggest its popular name, the Flying Bat Nebula. Within the Flying Bat, the most recently recognized addition to this royal cosmic zoo is the faint bluish emission from Ou4, the Giant Squid Nebula. Footage said to be from a satellite of bizarre orbs floating around a plane in the sky has conspiracy theorists convinced of what happened to missing flight MH370.

The Malaysia Airlines flight vanished in March 2014 after taking off from Kuala Lumpur airport bound for Beijing. It lost contact with air traffic control 40 minutes after take-off over the South China Sea and disappeared from radar. Extensive search and rescue missions were deployed but none of the 239 people on board were ever found, becoming one of the biggest mysteries of all time.

Now satellite video has people seemingly blaming an extra-terrestrial cause, with one person suggesting orbs flying around a plane is proof MH370 may have been teleported. In the "leaked" footage, a plane is seen coming into view by a huge cloud on the left, the Daily Star reports.

The plane, along with the three orbs, disappear in the sky. While some people said the video was fake and created using CGI and 3D animation, others disagreed and analysed the footage in detail. Adding credence to the theory is an article from 2014 from ABC News which reported "three large objects spotted near Malaysian airliner flight path".

It shared blurry images, taken by Chinese satellites, of three unidentified objects in the waters between Malaysia and Vietnam.

The home, in the suburb of Arncliffe, was the target of an early morning raid and remains cordoned off with tape warning of a toxic, nuclear or biological hazard inside.

The small brown-brick apartment building was cut off from the road by red and yellow tape saying: “Contaminated area – do not enter – hot zone.”

Local commercial broadcaster Channel 10 reported that mercury and uranium isotopes were found inside, while the Daily Telegraph said officers had found nuclear isotopes.

The Australian Border Force (ABF) would not confirm media reports about the presence of radioactive material at or near the property.

“The ABF can confirm it is conducting an operation today in Arncliffe, New South Wales, with the support of… emergency services,” a border force spokesperson said in a statement.

“All appropriate safety measures are being implemented.

“People in the vicinity of the location are urged to follow all directions from emergency services.”

Sam Abraham, 19, was trying to get home when he came across the closed road.

“It’s scary finding uranium in your neighbor’s house, you come into the street and there’s police,” he told AFP.

“It’s not something that usually happens in Arncliffe.”

Nemr Khamis, 60, told AFP: “In the morning I heard the loud trucks and all that stuff, I looked out of the window and I saw the ambulance and the fire brigade.

“Then I had to come out and look, then I went inside again. I had a shower and came back and when I came back I had a baby with me and the police told me to go inside.”

Khamis phoned relatives who told him “there’s some uranium in the street just off the unit,” he said.

The Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency also refused to confirm the presence of nuclear material.

“ARPANSA will continue to support relevant state and federal agencies in the ongoing management and resolution of the situation,” a spokesperson said.

Intel Corporation has terminated a $5.4 billion deal to buy Tower Semiconductor in Israel after failing to get needed regulatory approval, the US chip maker announced Wednesday.

Regulators in China were apparently the obstacle, having shown no sign of approving the merger which had been agreed on early last year, according to a Bloomberg report.

Intel will pay Tower a $353 million termination fee as per terms of the agreement, the companies said in a release.

“Tower was very excited to join Intel to enable Pat Gelsinger’s vision for Intel’s foundry business,” chief executive Russell Ellwanger said, referring to his counterpart at Intel.

“We appreciate the efforts by all parties.”

Tower and Intel agreed to abandon the deal after there were “no indications regarding certain regulatory approval” by the merger contract deadline on Tuesday, according to the companies.

“Our respect for Tower has only grown through this process, and we will continue to look for opportunities to work together in the future,” Intel chief Pat Gelsinger said in a release.

Intel stood to strengthen its portfolio of chip manufacturing services with the merger, as Tower specializes in analog semiconductors used in cars, medical devices and security cameras.

Intel shares were down nearly 3 percent to $33.76 in afternoon trading in New York.

The reported stalling by Chinese regulators comes amid rising strains in the US-China relationship, with the semiconductor industry a central point of contention.

California-based Intel is seen as a key tool for the United States to reduce its dependence on major global producers, such as Taiwan’s TSMC.

US President Joe Biden last week issued an executive order aimed at restricting certain American investments in sensitive high-tech areas in China.

The long-anticipated rules, expected to be implemented next year, target sectors like semiconductors and artificial intelligence.

The program is set to prohibit new private equity, venture capital and joint venture investments in advanced semiconductors and some quantum information technologies in China, according to the Treasury Department.

China’s foreign ministry blasted the move as an attempt to “engage in anti-globalization and de-sinicization,” warning that China would “resolutely safeguard its own rights and interests.”

There really is no other phrase that seems to adequately describe the future for online life in the United States than to describe it through the prism of the previously discussed shadow banning that takes place on the X-platform for specifically wrong-thinking users.

It is important to begin with the end in mind. Perhaps some people are unaware that internet services, meaning the actual experience of using the internet for communication and commerce, are not the same in every nation. In fact, it is quite a different experience depending on where on the globe you are located. The differences are driven by internal controls, the intranet of the regional internet per se.

The internet in China is not the same as the internet in Europe, which is not the same as the internet in Australia, which is not the same as the internet in North America, which is not the same -at all- as the internet that now exists within Russia. Even in some continents, the internet traffic flows are controlled at different levels within each nation. The “world wide web” is a format, but when you get down to the national level, things change.

This baseline helps to understand that internet freedom is defined by access to information and commerce.

To the extent the information or commerce is defined as against the interests of the authority structure, or potentially a threat to the national security interest of the government therein, the internet content is filtered, modified, censored, removed or just simply blocked from view. This is one layer in the information control system.

Another layer is the flow of commerce that floats atop the flow of information. This is where advertising, product sales, purchasing and general e-commerce takes place. This layer represents another option for control; therefore, this e-commerce layer should be considered running in parallel to the information, albeit perhaps indirectly attached.

When western government applied economic sanctions against Russia via financial restrictions writ large, the layer of internet commerce control merged with the information and national security control systems of the internet.

Russian citizens were blocked from e-commerce access, specifically from western nations in alignment with the sanctions, and the mechanisms of online purchasing were restricted. However, the entire world did not participate in the sanctions, and there is a massive amount of e-commerce that takes place, even with the systems of western control financial blocks in place.

Additionally, there is a large black-market system for commerce and financial transactions that started organically in the aftermath of the Russian sanctions. Crypto currency, as a financial transaction mechanism, was predictable; however, over time people became even more strategic and alternate transfer systems were created. You can purchase advertising in Russia, but are you really purchasing advertising – or are the purchasers really just transferring funds? Think about it.

I share that Russia example, because I do not want people to get too disheartened in what is going to happen here in the United States. There will always be a market for information, regardless of the control systems that are created to stop it. Additionally, there will always be smart rebellious people who think of ways to subvert the intents of the control mechanisms. Freedom may be diminished from a raging fire to a small burning flame, but it will never be fully extinguished. WE just need to learn to adapt.

Please keep in mind, the issues of e-commerce: ie. information monetization, advertising, deplatforming and debanking, are not disconnected from the issues of information control. The same larger national security system that has mandated (and will mandate), information blocks, content censorship, content restrictions, content removal and various platform control elements, is all part of one interconnected compliance system. Electronic Commerce and Electronic Information are all subject to the online control process. This is a public-private partnership on the internet.

The origin of the public-private partnership goes all the way back to the origin of the tech system in relationship to the DARPA programs and government sponsored research labs. The outcome of the modern partnership is evident in the Dept of Homeland Security (DHS) collaboration with the various communication platforms or pipes of information. Systems like the Global Internet Forum to Counter Terrorism’s (GIFCT) database, are simply outcomes of the partnership. There are hundreds more.

There is a rush now to provide context because Artificial Intelligence (AI), or smart data systems, are launching into the United States internet control mechanisms almost daily. We are close to the time when AI will be triggered to help control the content of the internet under the guise of national security.

The timeline for full deployment of the modern United States internet control system, is likely around late fall and early winter this year, in advance of the 2024 U.S. election cycle.

Everything will change. Every route of online traffic including Internet Service Providers (ISP’s) to filters and rerouting on Domain Name Systems (DNS), to the Internet Protocol (IP) itself will be subject to change in the form of background shadow banning. If the DHS partnership is successful, you will not initially notice – much like a shadow banned platform user doesn’t notice their new defined status. The shift will become more obvious over time.

One odd outcome will be a regional targeting system. Depending on where you are in the USA, your online experience will be different. There will also be enhancements to your internet travel based on your profile. Good thinking users will have benefits that enhance the experience of the user and supports the interests of the national security guardians.

♦ Deployment of a Virtual Private Network (VPN) is irrelevant in this construct. A VPN is like you renting a car without a license plate. You travel past all the Automatic License Plate Readers, arrive at your destination, leave the keys in the ignition and just abandon the car. Your personal travel was essentially invisible to the APLR system. However, when the internet roads are controlled by the national security state, and there is no longer an offramp to the destination, your VPN use is irrelevant – you cannot reach your destination. That’s part of the shift.

You will notice I use the term “definition” quite often. That is because the root of every control mechanism is grounded upon defining things. When you accept the terms ‘disinformation’, ‘misinformation’, and/or ‘malinformation’, you are buying into the process that permits definitions to determine your travel. Those who define both you and your destination, ultimately control your online experience.

Now, before getting to a recent example of this construct as it is being built, it is important to return to the e-commerce aspect and overlay the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) index into the world of online commerce.

♦ Right now, you can physically boycott Bud Light by choosing another brand. However, for total goods and services the amount of online purchasing is now exceeding the amount of purchasing in real life (brick and mortar shopping). Overlay the economic control system (think Russian sanctions approach) with the national security requirements for DEI, amid all online commerce, and apply that layer of analysis. In the e-commerce world, choosing not to buy Bud Light will become a little more difficult; and those who do support the boycott become subject to the previously mentioned “definitions”.

As we have shared, the crawl is not headlines, the crawl is in content. Yes, even content in the comment section is now flagging to the control systems. Why? Because we operate a proprietary constructed private commenting system that doesn’t have a backdoor and protects you, the user.

The Google Spiders are newly enhanced with AI instructions, dispatched looking for content and ‘context’ that is against the interests of the Vanguard, Blackrock, Larry Page (Alpha/Goog owners), and the public-private partnership.

Discussing the humor of Donald Trump, and the fellowship it creates, is considered “dangerous” to the interests of Google.

I share this information with you so that you understand what is being constructed and what is about to be deployed on a large scale throughout the U.S. internet operating system. The U.S. internet will be different. The social media restrictions became more prevalent and noticeable in the past several years; now it is time for DHS to expand that process to the entire U.S. internet.

When I wrote about Jack’s Magic Coffee shop, people initially thought I was crazy – but the guys inside the coffee shop didn’t. Eventually DHS control over Twitter was revealed in the Twitter files. The same background is true here. The entire American online apparatus is going to change, quite soon.

She is definitely a board watcher as I was the one who first stated and put things into perspective saying that there are trillions at stake and this meme was born.
