BLM Activists Call For Hunting Down George Zimmerman And Killing Him

In the wake of the Derek Chauvin verdict, Black Lives Matter activists on Twitter are now calling for hunting down and killing George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watchman who was acquitted of murdering Trayvon Martin in 2013.

Apparently they don’t remember what happened last time someone tried to attack Zimmerman. Trayvon Martin was killed.

Somehow none of this violates Twitter’s terms and policies.

These type of comments go on and on.

Maybe they want more black people to be killed so it fuels their rage?

The Bankers are Coming! The Bankers are Coming … for Your Bitcoin

One of the oldest arguments against Bitcoin, and cryptocurrencies in general, is the Central Banker Attack. Anyone who’s spent more than fifteen minutes inside the crypto-world will have heard this one.

That’s the argument where the person tacitly admits bitcoin isn’t a scam or vaporware but then says, “Well, if it gets too big, they’ll just make it illegal.” What’s most baffling to me is that this argument is mostly made by those who swear by their gold holdings while simultaneously swearing at the central bankers for ruining the world.

I get that it’s mostly a coping mechanism for watching crypto go ballistic while gold languishes under the control those same central bankers. And, in the past, I had a lot more sympathy for that perspective than I do now. Because today, at a total valuation around $2 trillion, we’ve arrived at that moment where the bankers and politicians are coming for bitcoin and cryptocurrencies and they are coming hard.

Since last week’s Coinbase IPO Bitcoin has been under constant and persistent attack. Bitcoin pushed through its former peak at $61,800 and since then there have been massive, coordinated dumps to push the price back down.

That pushed Bitcoin back below it’s previous high and COIN’s tumble from an overpriced IPO didn’t help matters.

Then Turkey announced it would, like India, that it would ban the use of cryptocurrencies as payments on Friday.

At nearly the same time, however, China announced it was allowing Chinese banks to import up to 150 tonnes of gold for retail distribution for the first time since 2019. This led some to speculate about a ‘gold-backed yuan’ but I don’t think that at all.

This was simply another counter-move to the ones made against the cryptocurrency markets. Like the Archegos Capital tac nuke that is still creating aftershocks throughout the financial system, China’s announcement sent gold, which was firming but still very vulnerable to the downside, through near-term resistance to close the week above the magic $1760 level.

In addition to repeatedly sabotaging attempts by the Arizona Senate to implement an accurate, transparent, and factual forensic audit of Maricopa’s 2020 election – which is set to actually begin on April 22 – the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors (MCBOS) also repeatedly violated the chain of custody of the 2.1 million ballots from the 2020 election which this Board is legally responsible for safeguarding. Under their watch things like shredded ballots ended up in a dumpster; doors were left wide open at the Maricopa County Tabulation and Election Center (MCTEC); a gigantic, mysterious fire occurred at a chicken farm owned by one of the supervisors of the MCBOS; and, all of the ballots were without the AZ Senate’s permission literally moved out of the MCTEC and then brought back home again (who knows where these ballots went for a ride and how many never came back).

Former federal employee admits leaking confidential information to drug traffickers

A former paralegal specialist in the U.S. Attorney’s Office in San Antonio pleaded guilty Tuesday to a charge that she lied to federal agents about divulging sensitive law enforcement information to drug smugglers linked to Mexican cartels.

Jennifer Loya was arrested last year by the FBI and U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, which had been investigating traffickers that included Roland Gustamante, who is married to her sister.

The investigation found that Gustamante and his group were tied to other traffickers and Mexican cartels and that Gustamante had inside information that Loya saw in the course of her job.

Loya was initially charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine; conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute heroin; conspiracy to obstruct justice (each carrying 10 years to life in prison); and making a false statement to agents.

As part of a plea deal, Loya pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Fred Biery only to making a false statement. She admitted that, on May 7, 2020, when the FBI and DEA questioned her, she falsely denied passing on any sensitive information to her sister.

The other charges will be dismissed at sentencing. She faces up to five years in prison.

Her lawyer, John Convery, said Loya is sorry and remorseful, and only wanted to get her sister, Kimberly Loya, out of a bad situation. Jennifer Loya began working with the U.S. Attorney’s Office in San Antonio as a legal assistant in 2017, and was promoted to paralegal specialist in February 2020. She resigned after her arrest, Convery said.

“She told her sister an investigation was underway; the purpose of that was to have her sister take her children and get away from him and his crowd,” Convery said of Jennifer Loya. “She had no idea his sister would tell him.”

Kimberly Loya faces sentencing in July for her guilty plea in September to money laundering conspiracy. She admitted she transported drug proceeds from San Antonio to Laredo for the group.

Amnesty for sex buyers will enable human traffickers

When I learned that one of our elected officials had created a policy to decriminalize sex buyers in our community, I was in shock.

Put simply, Washtenaw County Prosecuting Attorney Eli Savit has created a policy where sex buyers will not be criminally changed for the purchase of sex.

Savit contends that his policy is “empowering” for women selling sex in consensual transactions. He says he intends to continue to prosecute trafficking, and transactions involving violence and minors.

There is nothing empowering about prostitution and enabling the commercial sex industry. We have seen around the world that the sex industry grows when it is legitimized. When the demand for commercial sex increases and there are not enough willing participants to fill the demand, sex traffickers enter to meet that demand with vulnerable persons — especially children and young adults.

The sex trade preys on the vulnerable. The vast majority of those trafficked are females of color, girls, LGBTQ and homeless youth. And yet, in his first days in office, Savit published a policy that will normalize an inherently harmful sex trade and further disenfranchise those he promised to protect by exempting most sex buyers from prosecution.

Research is clear that legitimizing the sex trade explodes the demand for paid sex, and creates sex tourism destinations. Washtenaw County is a destination for sports, higher education and other attractions let’s not add sex tourism to the list.

For a decade as president and CEO of Vista Maria, I have seen first-hand the trauma and suffering caused by sexual exploitation and trafficking of the hundreds of children placed in our care. We have provided treatment services to girls as young as 11, with the average age of 15. Trafficking experiences for children last not days, but years. Our Michigan childrens' rights organizations have been working tirelessly to reduce trafficking.

What we need is a policy with a statewide demand-reduction strategy, providing a legal framework with criminal penalties as well as treatment and rehabilitation.

My anti-trafficking recommendation is for partial decriminalization, also known as the Equality Model. This model includes three equally important components:

First, we must decriminalize and offer services to prostituted people. We need to educate and address public perceptions regarding prostitution. Prostitution isn’t glamorous; it is exploitation of a human being. and it is inhumane. People in prostitution must be provided exit strategies and services, not arrest.

Second, we must hold exploiters accountable, including sex buyers and third-party facilitators such as pimps and traffickers.

Biden praises Derek Chauvin murder conviction, blames US for ‘systemic racism’

President Biden on Tuesday praised the conviction of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin for murdering George Floyd, but also accused the United States of deep-seated “systemic racism” as he said the guilty verdict was “too rare.”

“It was a murder in the full light of day. And it ripped the blinders off for the whole world to see the systemic racism the vice president just referred to,” Biden said in an evening speech at the White House.

“The systemic racism that’s a stain on our nation’s soul — the knee on the neck of justice for black Americans — profound fear and trauma, the pain, the exhaustion that black and brown Americans experience every single day.”

Biden called on Congress to pass a Democratic police reform bill named after Floyd, who died in May 2020 after Chauvin knelt on his neck for 9 minutes. The bill would ban chokeholds and do away with “qualified immunity” for law enforcement, among other reforms.

Biden said “this can be a moment of significant change” and “we also need Congress to act. George Floyd was murdered almost a year ago. There’s meaningful police reform legislation in his name.”

“Nothing can ever bring their brother, their father back. But this can be a giant step forward in the march toward justice in America,” Biden said.

“Let’s also be clear that such a verdict is also much too rare. For so many people, it seems like it took a unique and extraordinary convergence of factors. A brave young woman with a smartphone camera, a crowd that was traumatized… a murder that last almost 10 minutes in broad daylight for ultimately the whole world to see.”

The comments came a day after his Attorney General Merrick Garland said racism is an “American problem,” adding that he does not believe America has equal justice under the law.

“Look, racism is an American problem,” Garland told ABC News.

“It’s plain to me that there has been and remains discrimination against African Americans and other communities of color, and other ethnic minorities. I think it’s reflected in discrimination in housing and employment and the justice system,” he said. “We do not yet have equal justice under law.”

“This is an important part of the role of the Justice Department, to help bring it about,” Garland added.

The verdict won bipartisan praise in Washington, and relief across the country due to the presumed reduced risk of violent civil unrest if Chauvin was acquitted. Last year, rioting after Floyd’s death caused up to $2 billion in damage, according to insurance estimates.

How nonprofits installed an activist at a top health department post

A pair of doctors at Brigham and Women's Hospital last month outlined a pilot program that, they said, would offer "preferential care" to patients of color. The proposal, published in Boston Review, accuses hospitals across the country of practicing "medical apartheid"—something they said must be addressed through "race-explicit interventions."

Those interventions may violate civil rights laws, and Brigham and Women's Hospital assured the Washington Free Beacon that they are "not currently underway at the hospital." That hasn't stopped one of its authors, Dr. Michelle Morse, from moving on up: She is now the chief medical officer of New York City.

In her new post, Morse will wield enormous influence over New York's hospital system, and she has promised to use it to "advance health equity." Part of her job will be serving as a liaison between the health department and local medical centers, including three she singled out as examples of "apartheid": Montefiore, New York-Presbyterian, and Mount Sinai. She was also named the deputy commissioner for the Center for Health Equity and Community Wellness, a division within the New York City health department.

Asked how her office would address apartheid at local hospitals, Morse did not respond to a request for comment.

Morse's ascent reflects the larger trajectory of progressive activism, which has migrated from the fringe of academia to the heart of public health bureaucracies. Vermont's health department announced this month that people of color will get first dibs on the coronavirus vaccine as a part of the state's commitment to "health equity." And in December, the Centers for Disease Control proposed vaccinating essential workers before the elderly because the elderly skew white.

Morse's march through the institutions—from foundations to fellowships and finally to a top government post—reveals how radicalism gains influence. Supported by an incestuous network of left-wing nonprofits that credentialize activists and funnel them into positions of power, activists like Morse use studies funded by those same nonprofits to give their agenda a veneer of scientific credibility. And since the nonprofits combine charity with activism, it is easy for them to launder the latter as the former, further insulating them from critique.

Take EqualHealth, which Morse cofounded after the 2010 earthquake in Haiti. What began as a support system for Haitian health care workers soon became an effort to stem "the miseducation of health professionals on the root causes of illness." Those root causes, per the group's website, are racism and capitalism, which it seeks to combat through "disruptive pedagogy."

In 2015, EqualHealth founded the Social Medicine Consortium, "a collective of committed individuals, universities and organizations fighting for health equity." Morse received a $100,000 grant from the Soros Equality Fellowship three years later to launch the "Campaign Against Racism," a network of health equity activists who work to "dismantle racial capitalism."

All the while, EqualHealth continued its original work in Haiti—giving an air of humanitarian legitimacy to what became a radical group.

This sort of legitimation gives activists a foothold to further burnish their credentials. Morse went on to a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation fellowship that sent her to Washington, D.C., to work on "health equity priorities" with the House Ways and Means Committee. By the time she became New York's chief medical officer, she had experience in both nonprofits and government, making her a prime candidate for the position.

The attack on Iran's key Natanz nuclear site Sunday was caused by an explosive device that was smuggled into the plant and detonated remotely, the New York Times reported Tuesday.

Citing an unnamed intelligence official, the report said that the explosion, which has been attributed by foreign media to Israel, damaged Natanz's primary and backup electrical systems. Behrouz Kamalvandi, a spokesperson for Iran's Atomic Energy Organization, said that the attack blew a hole so big that he managed to fall into it, and suffered injuries.

It also quotes Fereydoun Abbasi, the head of the Iranian Parliament's energy committee, who told state television Monday that "The enemy's plot was very beautiful" from a scientific standpoint. "They thought about this and used their experts and planned the explosion so both the central power and the emergency power cable would be damaged."

Also on Tuesday, former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert told the Ynet news website that "what happened two days ago in Natanz wasn't caused by someone who broke in there in the middle of the night. The explosives were planted there in advance, maybe 10 or 15 years ago."

He added, "I can think of operations that were carried out in the past to plant devices."

The Americans and Israelis have worked together in the past to impede Iran’s nuclear ambitions, but the U.S. denies that was the case in the latest sabotage.

The last time the centrifuges crashed at Iran’s underground nuclear fuel-production center at Natanz, more than a decade ago, the sabotage was the result of a joint Israeli-American cyberattack intended to slow Tehran’s progress toward nuclear weapons and force a diplomatic negotiation.

When they crashed again this weekend, the White House asserted that the United States had no involvement.

The operation raised the question of whether Israel was acting on its own to strike Iran and undermine American diplomacy as the Biden administration seeks to reconstitute a nuclear agreement. Or, alternatively, whether Israel was operating in concert with American interests, carrying out dirty work that would weaken Iran’s negotiating position in the talks.

The White House was saying almost nothing in public on Monday about the apparent explosion inside Iran’s Natanz facility, below more than 20 feet of reinforced concrete, which destroyed the power supply that keeps the centrifuges spinning at supersonic speeds, enriching uranium.

“The U.S. was not involved in any manner,” the White House spokeswoman, Jen Psaki, said Monday. “We have nothing to add on speculation about the causes or the impacts.”

White House officials did not comment on whether the United States had been given advance notice of the attack.

Defense Secretary Lloyd J. Austin III, who landed in Israel on Sunday, the morning the attack took place, held two press briefings before he left Israel on Monday and never once uttered the word Iran.

White House and State Department officials said they had no idea whether the Iranians would show up in Vienna again on Wednesday, when the talks were scheduled to resume.

In Tehran, lawmakers asked Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif to suspend the talks, saying that Iran should not be engaged in negotiations when it is under attack.

“Talks under pressure have no meaning,” said Abbas Moghtadaie, the deputy chairman of Parliament’s national security and foreign policy committee, said in a Clubhouse talk on Monday. “This was a message we conveyed very clearly today.”

The Biden administration is seeking to revive an agreement, scuttled by President Donald J. Trump three years ago, in which Iran accepted limits on its nuclear program in exchange for the lifting of sanctions. Israel’s prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, opposed the original agreement and has made no secret of his opposition to resurrecting it.

Mr. Zarif, in a statement broadcast by Iranian state television, said that Israel wanted “to take revenge because of our progress in the way to lift sanctions.”

“But we will take our revenge on the Zionists,” he continued.

The former Minneapolis police officer faces decades in prison after his conviction Tuesday in the death of George Floyd

Former Minneapolis police Officer Derek Chauvin reportedly had written his attorney’s phone number on his left hand before a jury found him guilty in the death of George Floyd.

Chauvin, 45, was led away from the courtroom in handcuffs Tuesday afternoon after the verdict. His defense attorney, Eric Nelson, followed Chauvin out of the courtroom without comment.

Chauvin wrote down Nelson's phone number because he knew that, if found guilty, he would likely have his bail revoked and be immediately taken into custody, Nelson told TMZ. He said Chauvin feared a piece of paper would be confiscated.

As a former police officer who had already made several court appearances, Chauvin anticipated having limited access to a phone, but knew he would be allowed to call his lawyer, Nelson told the outlet.

Fox News has independently reached out to Nelson seeking more information regarding whether Chauvin will try to appeal the court decision.

Chauvin, who could be sent to prison for decades, was found guilty as charged of second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder, and second-degree manslaughter.

The jury of six White members and six Black or multiracial members came back with its verdict after about 10 hours of deliberations over two days.

Chauvin’s bail was immediately revoked. Sentencing will be in two months; the most serious charge carries up to 40 years in prison.

CINCINNATI—Since April 1, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers in Cincinnati have seized ten shipments containing a total of over 106 pounds of smuggled ketamine. The shipments were coming from locations throughout Europe and Africa and were destined to addresses across the United States.Ketamine

During routine inspections, officers decided to take a closer look at multiple shipments containing décor, clothing, spices, and protein powder, among other articles. After testing bottles of nutritional supplements, unknown liquids, and bath salts with a handheld chemical analyzer, officers discovered liquid or powder ketamine in all of the products. The cumulative value of the ketamine was $704,270.

Like many anesthetics, ketamine has legitimate medical uses, but can be abused for its hallucinogenic and sedating effects. Ketamine distorts perceptions, causes temporary paralysis, and dangerously slows breathing, potentially shutting down body systems and leading to cardiac arrest or respiratory failure. Along with other club drugs, ketamine abuse typically occurs at raves and dance clubs, and is commonly used to facilitate sexual assault crimes. It is a Schedule III non-narcotic drug regulated under the Controlled Substances Act.

“Our experienced officers continue to protect our citizens and their children,” said Cincinnati Port Director Richard Gillespie. “Our officers are exceptional at integrating and analyzing data to determine shipments that may pose a risk to innocent civilians. This level of skill allows them to excel at identifying and removing these dangerous drugs from the e-commerce supply chain.”

CBP's border security mission is led at ports of entry by CBP officers from the Office of Field Operations. Early life and education

At the time, Izvestia said prison authorities placed him under medical staff supervision for assessment and treatment as necessary.

Reportedly he experienced “severe” coughing and had a temperature of 100.5 degrees.

Three inmates in his 15-man cell contracted tuberculosis.

Tests showed he was TB-free and had not contracted seasonal flu-renamed covid.

Since his health improved, he’s now back in his cell.

Navalny’s “personal doctors” — who hadn’t examined him — claimed his health weakened because of hunger-striking and “lingering effects” from military grade nerve agent poisoning — that never occurred.

One of his personal doctors hyperbolically claimed that he could die “at any moment.”

Despite not having examined him in prison, his doctors claimed 44-year-old Navalny could die from kidney and/or heart disease.

These illnesses seldom affect individuals his age, Navalny’s imprisonment began about seven weeks ago.

BOAO, China (Reuters) - Chinese President Xi Jinping on Tuesday called for a rejection of hegemonic power structures in global governance, amid growing tensions between Washington and Beijing over a widening range of issues including alleged human rights abuses.

Speaking at the annual Boao Forum for Asia, Xi criticised efforts by some countries to "build barriers" and "decouple", which he said would harm others and benefit no one.

China has long called for reforms of the global governance system to better reflect a more diverse range of perspectives and values from the international community, including its own, instead of those of a few major nations.

The bolted sentence is wrong. China has not called 'for reforms of the global governance system' but for a return to the existing global governance system that the 'west' over the last years tended to ignore.

Here is the relevant section of his speech (emphasis added):

- We need consultation on an equal footing to create a future of shared benefits. Global governance should reflect the evolving political and economic landscape in the world, conform to the historical trend of peace, development and win-win cooperation, and meet the practical needs in addressing global challenges. We need to follow the principles of extensive consultation, joint contribution and shared benefits, uphold true multilateralism, and make the global governance system more fair and equitable. We need to safeguard the UN-centered international system, preserve the international order underpinned by international law, and uphold the multilateral trading system with the World Trade Organization at its core. World affairs should be handled through extensive consultation, and the future of the world should be decided by all countries working together.

To 'safeguard', 'preserve' and 'uphold' existing laws and organizations is not a 'call for reform' of the global governance system but a call for a return to its foundations which were set after the second world war. The Reuters writer pretends, like some 'western' politicians, that those foundations no longer exist.

The Reuters piece continues:

[China] has also repeatedly clashed with the biggest stakeholders in world governance, particularly the United States, over a range of issues from human rights to China's economic influence over other countries.

"The world wants justice, not hegemony," Xi said in remarks broadcast to the forum.

"A big country should look like a big country by showing that it is shouldering more responsibility," he said.

While Xi did not identify any country in his remarks, Chinese officials have in recent times referred to U.S. "hegemony" in public criticisms of Washington's global projection of power in trade and geopolitics.

We must reckon with Margaret Sanger’s association with white supremacist groups and eugenics.

We need to talk about Margaret Sanger.

For the 11 years that I’ve been involved with Planned Parenthood, founded by Sanger, her legacy on race has been debated. Sanger, a nurse, opened the nation’s first birth control clinic in Brownsville, Brooklyn, in 1916, and dedicated her life to promoting birth control to improve women’s lives. But was she, or was she not, racist?

It’s a question that we’ve tried to avoid, but we no longer can. We must reckon with it.

Up until now, Planned Parenthood has failed to own the impact of our founder’s actions. We have defended Sanger as a protector of bodily autonomy and self-determination, while excusing her association with white supremacist groups and eugenics as an unfortunate “product of her time.” Until recently, we have hidden behind the assertion that her beliefs were the norm for people of her class and era, always being sure to name her work alongside that of W.E.B. Dubois and other Black freedom fighters. But the facts are complicated.

Sanger spoke to the women’s auxiliary of the Ku Klux Klan at a rally in New Jersey to generate support for birth control. And even though she eventually distanced herself from the eugenics movement because of its hard turn to explicit racism, she endorsed the Supreme Court’s 1927 decision in Buck v. Bell, which allowed states to sterilize people deemed “unfit” without their consent and sometimes without their knowledge — a ruling that led to the sterilization of tens of thousands of people in the 20th century.

The first human trials of the birth control pill — a project that was Sanger’s passion later in her life — were conducted with her backing in Puerto Rico, where as many as 1,500 women were not told that the drug was experimental or that they might experience dangerous side effects.

We don’t know what was in Sanger’s heart, and we don’t need to in order to condemn her harmful choices. What we have is a history of focusing on white womanhood relentlessly. Whether our founder was a racist is not a simple yes or no question. Our reckoning is understanding her full legacy, and its impact. Our reckoning is the work that comes next.

And the first step is making Margaret Sanger less prominent in our present and future. The Planned Parent Federation of America has already renamed awards previously given in her honor, and Planned Parenthood of Greater New York renamed its Manhattan health center in 2020. Other independently managed affiliates may choose to follow.

Sanger remains an influential part of our history and will not be erased, but as we tell the history of Planned Parenthood’s founding, we must fully take responsibility for the harm that Sanger caused to generations of people with disabilities and Black, Latino, Asian-American, and Indigenous people.

Sanger thought birth control would liberate women, and in so many ways it has. According to a University of Michigan study, the availability of the birth control pill is responsible for roughly a third of women’s wage gains since the 1960s. Reassessing Sanger’s history doesn’t negate her feminist fight, but it does tarnish it. In the name of political expedience, she chose to engage white supremacists to further her cause. In doing that, she devalued and dehumanized people of color.

Rob Schmitt: A lot of the rhetoric around this case, the media coverage on this case, and also the violence all last summer did that have an impact on this case?

Alan Dershowitz: We certainly can’t be confident that it didn’t. We have to assume that the jury heard what Maxine Waters said, what Sharpton said, what Crump said, what others said. I think jurors knew that if they came out with a verdict, other than murder, the top charge there would be violence on the streets. Every mayor was prepared for that. Every police chief was prepared for that. Why do we think the jury didn’t know that and didn’t allow it to enter its consideration? After all, the jurors were potential targets. Their names were released. If they had come to “the wrong verdict” they might be expected to be treated the way one of the witnesses was treated… painted in blood. I think the jurors learned that if they didn’t come up with the right verdict there businesses would suffer, their schools, their neighborhoods… That’s why I believe the case may very well be reversed.

Ohio school district director sought sex with 8-year-old, FBI says

An Ohio school district employee who thought he was arranging sex with an 8-year-old girl showed up at a hotel with candy, condoms and a bottle of NyQuil, FBI officials said.

Bradley Willem Beun, 41, of Uniontown, was busted Friday at a hotel in Akron, where the stomach-churning items he agreed to bring in an earlier online chat with an FBI undercover investigator were found inside his car, FBI officials in Cleveland said Monday.

Beun, who worked as director of special services for Springfield Local School District, allegedly had an online chat with the undercover FBI employee on Thursday and Friday.

“It is alleged that Mr. Beun and the undercover employee discussed Mr. Beun meeting the undercover employee and the employee’s purported eight-year-old daughter at a hotel for sex,” the agency’s Cleveland division said in a statement.

Beun then showed up at the prearranged location, a Fairfield Inn and Suites, just before 11 a.m. Friday with items that had been requested during the earlier chat – including Skittles, condoms and a bottle of NyQuil, the FBI said.

The items were “consistent” with what Beun agreed to bring to the hotel, according to an affidavit cited by the Akron Beacon Journal.

Beun also appeared to be wearing the same clothes he had on a day earlier. The photo he messaged to the undercover officer Thursday was apparently taken at an employee’s bathroom in the school district, the newspaper reported.

Beun allegedly arrived at the hotel and parked before messaging the undercover cop to come outside with the girl. The FBI investigator balked at that request and Beun left, according to the affidavit.

He later returned when the undercover investigator said he would come out with the girl and was arrested.

Beun had earlier asked about the 8-year-old’s appearance and told the FBI employee that he had “never done this before,” the affidavit states.

“Sounds cute,” Beun allegedly replied of her purported appearance, before going on to describe what sex acts he wanted to perform on the girl. He also asked if the girl was into “anything rough,” the affidavit shows.

Beun, who was charged federally with coercion or enticement, has been put on paid administrative leave following his arrest, Springfield Local School District Superintendent Chuck Sincere said in a statement to The Post. He was hired in July 2013.

“I want to stress that the FBI informed us that he was not arrested on school grounds and the incident does not involve any student from the Springfield School District,” Sincere said.

Beun is also barred from school grounds and functions, as well as being prohibited from doing any business on behalf of the district, Sincere said.

Investigators searched Beun’s district office on Friday, leaving staffers stunned, Sincere told the Beacon Journal.

“We were blown away – we were just knocked out, because we worked every day with him,” Sincere said.

Beun, whose initial court appearance was set for Monday, remained in custody Tuesday, an FBI spokeswoman told The Post. He’s due back in court on April 22.

Attorneys for Beun could not be reached for comment Monday, the Beacon Journal reported

Virginia Police Officer FIRED for Donating to Rittenhouse Legal Defense Fund

The officer was identified via a data leak published by a leftist hacker organisation

Sgt. William Kelly of Norfolk Police has been fired by the department after he anonymously donated to the legal defense fund of Kyle Rittenhouse, who says he shot multiple Antifa rioters in Kenosha, Wisconsin in self defense last year.

On Friday, the Guardian reported that the Christian crowdfunding website GiveSendGo had been subject to a data breach, with the leftist hacking organization Distributed Denial of Secrets publishing the breach on their site. One of the fundraisers on the site was the legal defense fund of Kyle Rittenhouse, the teenager who defended himself against multiple antifa rioters during the violent clashes in Kenosha, Wisconsin, last year. Rittenhouse stands accused of the murder of two of those he allegedly shot, with a third man having survived the encounter.

In reporting the data breach, the Guardian highlighted a number of public officials who they claim donated anonymously, with the breach linking emails to donations and messages. One of those who donated to Rittenhouse’s legal defense fund was allegedly Sgt. William Kelly of Norfolk Police Department, Virginia. “God bless. Thank you for your courage. Keep your head up. You’ve done nothing wrong,” Kelly allegedly wrote with his $25 donation. “Every rank and file police officer supports you. Don’t be discouraged by actions of the political class of law enforcement leadership.”

Kelly, who was serving as the executive officer of the Norfolk PD’s internal affairs division, was initially reassigned to another department after an investigation was opened up into his actions. Norfolk City Manager Chip Filer said in a press release on Tuesday that Kelly had been fired, as his actions were allegedly “in violation” of various City and departmental policies. “His egregious comments erode the trust between the Norfolk Police Department and those they are sworn to serve,” Filer said. “The City of Norfolk has a standard of behavior for all employees, and we will hold staff accountable.”

“A police department cannot do its job when the public loses trust with those whose duty is to serve and protect them,” said Norfolk Police Chief Larry Boone in a statement to residents of the area. “We do not want perceptions of any individual officer to undermine the relations between the Norfolk Police Department and the community.”

The news in Virginia follows another story resulting from the data breach in Utah, where a paramedic is currently under investigation for allegedly donating $10 to Rittenhouse’s legal fund. Jason Nguyen, a journalist for ABC4, even went so far as to show up to the paramedic’s house, doorstepping him and his family. “I tried to get the paramedic’s side of things,” Nguyen said in a tweet.

Danny Masterson pushes for delay in rape trial, blames Leah Remini

Danny Masterson isn’t ready to defend himself against charges of rape — and he’s blaming Leah Remini.

Masterson filed papers in Los Angeles this week alleging that Remini’s well-documented campaign against The Church of Scientology is extending to his court case. According to TMZ, which obtained the documents, Masterson, 45, is claiming Remini pushed for the three women — all Jane Does — in his case to make reports to the Los Angeles Police Department, with two of them only coming out with their allegations after being urged to by Remini.

Masterson’s papers hold that Remini’s celebrity has prosecution “starstruck” and further alleges that she has a close relationship with LAPD detectives, “even using them as her personal security,” per TMZ.

He also says Remini, 50, guided the women as they gave statements to prosecutors.

The “That ’70s Show” star is seeking more time to prepare his defense.

Masterson pleaded not guilty to raping three women in January after being arrested in June 2020. The actor allegedly raped a 23-year-old woman in the winter of 2001 and a 28-year-old woman in April 2003 and has also been charged with raping another 23-year-old woman between fall and winter of 2003. All the incidents allegedly occurred at his Hollywood Hills home, according to prosecutors. If convicted, Masterson faces up to 45 years in prison.

“Finally, victims are being heard when it comes to Scientology,” Remini tweeted in response Masterson’s rape charges being filed.

“This is just the beginning, Scientology,” the 50-year-old actress’s dispatch continued. “Your days of getting away with it [are] coming to an end!”

The Minnesota National Guard was fired at in a drive by shooting in north Minneapolis early Sunday morning — just hours after Mad Maxine incited violence.

The judge went off on Maxine Waters and called her incitement to violence “abhorrent” and “disrespectful” in response to a motion by Chauvin’s lawyer, Eric Nelson, to declare a mistrial.

Judge Cahill denied the motion but scolded Maxine Waters and other officials for talking about the Chauvin case and intimidating jurors.

“I’m aware of the media reports. I’m aware that Congresswoman Waters was talking specifically about this trial, and about the unacceptability of anything less than a murder conviction, talked about being confrontational,” Judge Cahill said. “But you can submit the press articles about that. This goes back to what I’ve been saying from the beginning. I wish elected officials would stop talking about this case, especially in a manner that is disrespectful to the rule of law and to the judicial branch and our function.”

“I think if they want to give their opinions, they should do so in a respectful, and in a manner that is respectful to the Constitution, to respect the co-equal branch of government. Their failure to do so I think is abhorrent, but I don’t think it has prejudiced this, with additional material that would prejudice this jury.”

Chauvin trial judge denies the defense's request for a mistrial, BUT he did SLAM Maxine Waters for her threatening comments in Minnesota this weekend to jurors, calling them "abhorrent" and "disrespectful to the rule of law and to the judicial branch and our function."
