Feds: No Plea Deal Ahead Of Ghislaine Maxwell Trial

Update (1557ET): Federal prosecutors say they aren't offering Ghislaine Maxwell a plea deal ahead of her sex-trafficking trial slated to begin next week.

According to the NY Post, Judge Alison Nathan asked prosecutors as well as Maxwell's attorneys whether a plea deal had been offered, to which Assistant US Attorney Maurene Comey - the daughter of former FBI chief James Comey - replied "None were communicated."

Maxwell was in the courtroom Tuesday, exchanging greetings with her team of lawyers and occasionally sipping from a disposable coffee cup as her legal team hashed out trial logistics with the group of four prosecutors.

Among the issues raised was that Maxwell’s attorneys have subpoenaed a lawyer who represents a victim in the case, identified in the indictment against Maxwell as “Minor Victim-4.” -NY Post

Maxwell's attorneys, meanwhile, have been ordered to submit briefs over the potential witness, who she allegedly met when the victim was 14-years-old.

Jeffrey Epstein's highest-profile accuser, who says the convicted pedophile peddled him to Prince Andrew, will not be included in the trial of longtime Epstein companion and accused accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell, according to AP News.

U.S. prosecutors chose not to bring charges in connection with Virginia Giuffre, who says Epstein and Maxwell flew her around the world when she was 17 and 18 for sexual encounters with billionaires, politicians, royals and heads of state.

She isn’t expected to be called as a witness in Maxwell’s trial, either. -AP

Instead, prosecutors will focus on four other women who say Maxwell recruited them as teenagers for Epstein and his associates to sexually abuse - however none of them have alleged the type of abuse by high-profile international figures that Guiffre has.

In other words, the one witness who can connect the dots between Epstein, the Clintons, Prince Andrew and others won't be making an appearance. But is there a good reason?

According to the report, prosecutors may have chosen to exclude Giuffre because she has changed her statements multiple times over the years, including falsely stating that she was 15 when Epstein began to abuse her, when she was in fact 17. AP suggests that prosecutors may have wanted to avoid Maxwell calling Giuffre's alleged abusers to testify, as they have spent years attacking her credibility.

Besides Andrew, Giuffre has said she was sexually trafficked to former New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, former U.S. Sen. George Mitchell, the noted lawyer Alan Dershowitz, the French modeling scout Jean Luc Brunel and the billionaire Glenn Dubin, among others.

All have said her accounts are fabricated. -AP

"There is no reason to give the defense anything to work with that can sow the seeds of reasonable doubt," said former federal prosecutor David Weinstein, who is not involved in the case.

Giuffre has stood by her allegations, and has "repeatedly shown a willingness to go into civil court to prove them, sitting in depositions and assembling a legal team that includes one of America’s most influential lawyers, David Boies," per AP.

What's more, Giuffre's account of spending time with Andrew was corroborated by another Epstein accuser, Johanna Sjoberg, who described an evening socializing with Maxwell, Giuffre, Epstein and Prince Andrew - who allegedly groped her breast while they posed for a photo with a puppet made of him for a television show.

In 2019, she told Dateline NBC that inconsistencies in her recollection were innocent mistakes while trying to remember traumatic events which happened years ago.

"When you are abused, you know your abuser," she said. "I might not have my dates right. I might not have my times right ... but I know their faces and I know what they’ve done to me."

Epstein's sexual habits were exposed in 2005 when he was arrested in Florida for paying a 14-year-old girl for sex.

Police identified underage girls who were paid to perform sex acts, but in 2008 the investigation was cut short. Prosecutors allowed Epstein to plead guilty to a charge of procuring a person under 18 for prostitution. He served 13 months in jail.

Dozens of women sued Epstein, but Giuffre’s 2009 lawsuit was different. In it, she said Epstein pressured her into having sex with numerous men “including royalty, politicians, academicians, businessmen and/or professional and personal acquaintances.” -AP

Giuffre also joined a 2014 lawsuit brought by other Epstein accusers - and began identifying alleged abusers who she had previously accused anonymously. It was also the first time she accused Prince Andrew - saying she had sex with him three times, in London during her 2001 trip, at Epstein’s New York mansion when she was 17 and in the Virgin Islands when she was 18.

She accused Maxwell of facilitating the encounters as a "madam."

Meanwhile, Epstein isn't the first high-profile pedo associated with the Royal family.

Dozens of child sex abuse videos found on Nashville man’s Dropbox, police say

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Police have charged a 25-year-old Nashville man with sexual exploitation of a minor after they said they found dozens of abuse videos on his Dropbox account.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children got a report from Dropbox on July 15, 2021, that an account was found to contain multiple sexual videos of minors. According to an arrest warrant, the images were uploaded to an account with IP address assigned to Nashville resident, Alan Walter’s cell phone.

A search warrant was executed to Dropbox, where police said they found more than 40 videos showing child sex abuse.

On Oct. 28, 2021, detectives interviewed Walter who reportedly admitted the account and associated email address was his. Authorities said he also told detectives that he used social media accounts on Tumblr, Wickr, and Telegraph to send and receive the videos.

Walter is being held on a $20,000 bond.

Deputy Premier Steven Miles was quizzed on why he was fronting the cameras on Wednesday and not Annastacia Palaszczuk amid confusion over the PCR testing requirements to enter Queensland.

Last question was called after Queensland Deputy Premier Steven Miles was grilled on whether Annastacia Palaszczuk was in hiding after a furore erupted over testing requirements to enter the state.

Mr Miles was quizzed as to why Ms Palaszczuk was not fronting the cameras on Wednesday after days of confusion over whether travellers from interstate hotspots would be forced to pay $150 for a PCR test.

As a reporter starting asking another question, a media advisor called out: "This will be the last question".

Queensland will allow fully vaccinated travellers in from New South Wales, Victoria and the Australian Capital Territory without a quarantine requirement when the state hits the 80 per cent double dose target, expected in early December.

But travellers will have to return a negative PCR test within 72 hours of their arrival into Queensland.

The Queensland government failed to clarify in recent days if a text message confirming a negative test result would suffice, indicating instead travellers would need a certificate, which would incur a cost.

During the Trump administration, the Department of Education instituted a new data collection point that would include not just students who were raped by teachers and led to convictions but also students who were sexually assaulted or fondled where the incidents led to the reassignment of the offender to another school district before the investigation was completed. Creepy Joe’s Department of Education has rescinded that requirement and will no longer keep track of teachers who fondle kids and get hidden away somewhere else to do it to someone else’s kids.

The Education Department will still ask districts to report documented cases of rape and sexual assault. But it will not ask school officials to report allegations that resulted in the resignation or retirement of the accused. Former secretary of education Betsy DeVos added those optional questions to the 2020-2021 data collection, which was delayed one year due to the coronavirus pandemic. The department also won’t ask districts to report pending cases or cases in which a school staffer was reassigned to another district school prior to the conclusion of an investigation.

Reporting alleged sex crimes in addition to documented cases provides a fuller picture of sexual violence in schools, as the accused may retire, resign, or seek employment elsewhere before a district can reach a conclusion in the case.

What many people don’t know is that many public schools treat molestation by teachers exactly the same way the Catholic church has done, moving offenders around to different institutions. In fact, the public schools in America have a much bigger problem than the Catholic church. According to a DOE study, the number of sex offenders in public schools could be 100 times greater than the church scandal.

Consider the statistics: In accordance with a requirement of President Bush’s No Child Left Behind Act, in 2002 the Department of Education carried out a study of sexual abuse in the school system.

Hofstra University researcher Carol Shakeshaft looked into the problem, and the first thing that came to her mind when Education Week reported on the study were the daily headlines about the Catholic Church.

Unjabbed 12 to 15-year-olds are just three per cent more likely to catch Covid compared to fully vaccinated children, Pfizer's own study suggests.

Just 30 of around 1,100 youngsters (2.7 per cent) tested positive for the virus in the four months of the clinical study in the US last winter.

None of the children were hospitalised or died from the virus and they were either asymptomatic or had a very mild illness.

In the group of around 1,100 youngsters that were given two doses of the vaccine, none tested positive for the virus.

The tiny number of children who caught the virus and their low risk of severe symptoms will likely reignite the debate about whether it's worth jabbing them.

There are still concerns about a rare type of heart inflammation known as myocarditis spotted in around one in 24,000 children aged 12 to 15 after two doses of Pfizer's jab.

The new results were collected in the 10 months to September. Pfizer boasted that they show its vaccine was '100 per cent effective against Covid' in children.

The US is already giving two doses to 12 to 15-year-olds and has been since September, whereas the UK is currently offering just one dose to the age group.

Vaccine advisors in the UK are waiting for more real-world safety data before recommending second doses, because data suggest myocarditis is more common after two doses.

As of August 2016, Clare Bronfman owns 80 percent of Wakaya Island, FIji.

On August 11, 2016, Clare Bronfman [and her Ack Group of Companies] purchased Wakaya Ltd, which owns about 80 percent of Wakaya Island, a small [2,200 acre/eight square mile] island in Fiji.

Miss Bronfman already owned a private home on Wakaya prior to purchasing Wakaya Ltd, from David and Jillian Gilmour.

Miss Bronfman is the financier of Keith Raniere’s business and teaching enterprises.

Mr. Raniere is her acknowledged mentor and Miss Bronfman has also been reported to have made a lifelong Vow of obedience to Mr. Raniere as his “slave” and joined his harem.

Some believe Miss Bronfman purchased then land in the Fiji’s as part of a plan for Mr. Raniere and her and select members of his harem to leave the US in the event that prosecution seems imminent.

The then- uninhabited island of Wakaya was bought in 1973 by Gilmour, a gold-mining entrepreneur who developed the island, building 22 kilometres of roads, a freshwater reservoir, an airstrip, marina, jetty, village, church, gym, school and a runway.

He also developed the Wakaya Club & Spa, an exclusive resort with 10 luxury bungalows with a staff of 300. It also houses a large private villa and four private beaches.

He sold off about 20 percent of the island to private interests. There are about a dozen exclusive homes and other private ownership interests on the island.

Wakaya’s populatian is 300-600 people.

Mr. Gilmour started a business in 2009 called Wakaya Perfection which sources a range of organic wellness products from Wakaya, which Mr. Gilmour, 85, plans to continue to own and operate. Prior to that Gilmour founded FIJI Water, one of the country’s biggest export earners.

The sales agreement between Miss Bronfman and Mr. Gilmour permit him to continue to spend time on the island, as he operates the business. In prior years Mr. Gilmour and his wife spent about four months on the island. He is a native of Australia.

Wakaya is 18 kilometres from Ovalau, the main island in the Lomaiviti Group.

Extradition

If Mr. Raniere and Miss Bronfman were to be criminally charged in the USA it is hard to predict whether they would be expedited.

Fiji has entered into bilateral agreements on surrender of fugitive offenders with the United States. However, a person can be extradited to the United States only if the offence is a serious crime in Fiji. More importantly, extradition will NOT be approved if one of a number of Fiji officials determines that the offence is a political one, the purpose being to punish the person because of his religion, political opinion, religious, or philosophical teachings, or that surrender may be prejudiced by these considerations.

Any one of a series of officials can put a halt to extradition starting with the Attorney-General. If the Fiji Attorney General denies extradition then the person will not extradited. If they authorize extradition, a Magistrate conducts proceedings to determine whether there is sufficient evidence to warrant extradition.

If the Magistrate agrees to extradition, a Judge decides if the person is to be extradited.

A judge may deny extradition or decide that instead of extradition he will allow the person to stand trial in Fiji instead of the USA.

The US Department of State, in its Human Rights Report on Fiji, stated that bureaucratic corruption in Fiji is systemic. According to the World Bank’s CORRUPTION AND ANTI-CORRUPTION IN FIJI Enterprise Survey 2009, more than 35 per cent of the firms polled consider corruption as a major constraint for doing business in the country.

The Heritage Foundation reports that Fiji does not have an independent legal system and judicial corruption has become a major challenge to Fiji’s governance structure.

ANOTHER CORRUPT DEAL: Hunter Used His Chinese Secretary and Chi-Com Operative in Deal with Louisiana Gas Company that Eventually Fell Apart

A new report from Breitbart brings up some old news we reported in January and some new news coming from Hunter Biden’s laptop.

As we reported previously, Hunter Biden had a relationship with a Chinese secretary who also worked with the Chinese government. Her name was JiaQi Bao.

In a report today at Breitbart Hunter’s relationship with Miss Bao was rekindled and along with it were some emails related to a deal with a Louisiana gas company and CEFC, the company Bao worked for.

The Biden family was set to benefit from a deal to transfer American natural gas to Chinese energy company CEFC, through a prospective 2017 deal by Hunter and Jim Biden, according to newly uncovered documents — as the Biden administration now massively scales back United States energy production.

Documents never previously reported on, from the infamous “laptop from hell” belonging to Hunter, show the Biden scion was working on a deal in 2017 to transfer liquid natural gas from Louisiana to CEFC — the same Chinese firm with which Hunter also discussed a business venture that would have “10 [percent] held by H for the big guy” — but the deal never materialized.

That wouldn’t stop the Chinese players in the deal, however, from going on to push Hunter to help his father mount a bid for president years after.

In an email from October 23, 2017, an intermediary by the name of JiaQi Bao, between Hunter Biden and his Chinese business associates, sent an email thanking Hunter and Joe Biden’s brother, Jim, for arranging a meeting with Greg Michaels, the president of a natural gas liquefaction facility in Louisiana called Monkey Island LNG, and detailing plans for what will be discussed.

“We have a 10:30 meeting tomorrow @ 3CC with Greg Michaels, the president of Monkey Island LNG Terminal project in Louisiana. Thank you for Jim and Hunter for bringing the owner to talk to us directly,” she writes in an email received by Hunter, Jim, and Gongwen Dong, a Chinese investor involved in multiple deals linked to the Bidens.

The deal with the gas company apparently fell through but not without the Bidens’ efforts.

According to a report on Biden family FARA compliance compiled by Senator Chuck Grassley in November, 2020, the Bidens were used by Ye Jianming as mechanisms to “build influence” in securing U.S. business — but the CEFC natural gas deal fell through in 2018.

“As part of Hunter Biden’s efforts to assist Ye, he reportedly began working on a deal for Ye that involved a $40 million investment in a natural gas project on Monkey Island in Louisiana that reportedly fell through in 2018,” Grassley’s report says.

Another day, another corrupt act by the Biden gang. God only knows what sort of deals they’re making now. One thing is sure, they sure haven’t done anything to upset China to date.

(NewsNation Now) — Kyle Rittenhouse says he never meant to pose for photos with the Proud Boys, and blamed his former attorneys for introducing them into his case.

The meetings “were set up by my former attorney who was fired because of that, for putting me in situations like that with people I don’t agree with,” Rittenhouse said.

As part of his exclusive interview with NewsNation’s Ashleigh Banfield, which airs tonight at 10 p.m. ET, Rittenhouse said he didn’t know making the “OK” sign with his hand had become a white supremacist signal, and he didn’t know he was in a bar full of Proud Boys members Jan. 5.

The photos of Rittenhouse at a bar with Proud Boys were circulated as proof that he was aligned with them, but he blames his previous attorneys, John Pierce and Lin Wood.

Rittenhouse said Pierce “arranged” the group at the Wisconsin bar, but was not there himself.

“I found out they were Proud Boys when I saw the headlines,” Rittenhouse told NewsNation. “I thought they were just a bunch of, like, construction dudes based on how they looked.”

Unanswered questions in Rittenhouse trial

Rittenhouse said his former lawyers discussed having the Proud Boys provide security, and said he didn’t hire them because he didn’t “want anything to do with them.”

Earlier this year, prosecutors were using photos of Rittenhouse’s interaction at the bar that day as proof of their claim that he was in Kenosha, Wisconsin answering a call from white supremacists.

An email sent to Pierce seeking response was not immediately returned. Wood said he had nothing to do with arranging security for Rittenhouse and didn’t know what the Proud Boys were.

On Nov. 19, the day Rittenhouse was acquitted, Pierce released a statement saying he was “so proud of Kyle” and “incredibly proud of the work that I did in the initial months of the case.”

Rittenhouse, 18, was charged in the deaths of Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, and Anthony Huber, 26, and for wounding Gaige Grosskreutz, now 27. He shot all three men in a chaotic Aug. 25, 2020 scene that the jury found entitled Rittenhouse to lethal self-defense.

That night, Rittenhouse and the three men he shot were in Kenosha during protests after police shot Jacob Blake, a Black man.

In the interview, Rittenhouse called Wood “insane” and said he was fired in part because he believed in Qanon conspiracies.

“[Wood] thinks he’s God,” Rittenhouse said. “And he just says all these weird things like, ‘We’re going to keep that boy in jail, because there’s not going to be any civil or criminal cases come the election,’ which is just complete insanity.”

Wood called Rittenhouse’s characterization of him “asinine” and said he didn’t know what Qanon was.

“That is insulting and mocking of God,” Wood said. He said he only talked to Rittenhouse twice, for fewer than five minutes each time.

Wood’s organization, the #FightBack Foundation, raised money for Rittenhouse’s $2 million bail. Wood told NewsNation he believes Rittenhouse may have been in jail longer without their help.

“Fightback got out when nobody else would be willing to do it and we raised the money,” Wood said.

Who should get the bail money now that Rittenhouse has been acquitted is in dispute.

The 18-year-old insisted multiple times during his interview that he does not want to be anyone’s political icon. After telling Fox News’ Tucker Carlson he supports the Black Lives Matter movement, he would only affirm his belief in their right to peacefully protest when Banfield asked.

Top White House Covid adviser Anthony Fauci insisted his long career as a federal bureaucrat is far from over, saying retirement is simply out of the question as he looks to wrap up “unfinished business” in the world of medicine.

Asked whether he is thinking of leaving his long-held leadership post at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), the 80-year-old health official said he’s “not even remotely contemplating that right now.”

“There's a lot of unfinished business right now, so I'm not even thinking about walking away,” Fauci told Reuters in an interview on Tuesday, adding that he would like to see the end of the coronavirus pandemic, and even further progress on eradicating HIV and AIDS, before he steps away from his work.

The White House adviser also reiterated calls for the “overwhelming majority” of fully-vaccinated American adults to receive booster shots, noting that the additional dose could eventually become standard in defining what it means to be ‘fully’ immunized.

“Right now, officially, fully vaccinated equals two shots of the mRNA and one shot of the J&J, but without a doubt that could change. That's on the table for discussion,” he said, referring to Pfizer and Moderna’s vaccines which use messenger-RNA, and Johnson & Johnson’s one-dose formulation.

While an FDA advisory panel initially voted overwhelmingly against booster doses for all healthy Americans – instead greenlighting additional shots only for the elderly and certain at-risk groups – the FDA itself decided to cut the panel out of the process entirely and authorized boosters on its own last week. A similar panel with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), however, did give its blessing, with CDC Director Rochelle Walensky quickly signing off on the decision.

With universal boosters effectively authorized, all adults who received their initial two-dose round of the Pfizer or Moderna immunizations are now encouraged to take another dose within six months of their last shot. So far, an estimated 33 million Americans have received a booster.

Property records obtained by The Sun show that a company named Granite Reality LLC bought Maxwell’s 156-acre wooded hideaway in the small town of Bradford, New Hampshire on December 13, 2019 from a family trust.

According to official documents, the manager of Granite is Boston lawyer, Jeffrey W. Roberts, and the company was set up on November 18, 2019, just weeks before its purchase of Tuckedaway, Maxwell’s mountaintop home. Note: Granite Reality is a different LLC to Granite Realty, another New Hampshire LLC.

Roberts also is the registered agent for a second company, Hopley Yeaton, whose manager is named as “Scott Borgerson.”

Both companies also share the same address in Boston - Roberts’ law firm. Roberts has not responded to requests for comment. The Sun also reached out to Borgerson and his ex wife.

It is not yet clear if it is the same Scott Borgerson that has been linked to Maxwell - but there is only one man by that name listed in Massachusetts, according to public records.

Quarantine facilities

There are two mandatory supervised quarantine facilities in the Northern Territory;

Centre for National Resilience in Howard Springs, Darwin

Alice Springs Quarantine Facility, Alice Springs

You are required to quarantine at the facility closest to your entry into the Northern Territory unless otherwise directed by the Chief Health Officer or their delegate. Returning Australians on the Commonwealth facilitated flights into the Northern Territory will undertake their quarantine at the Centre for National Resilience.

Face masks, physical distancing and room

Chief Health Officer Direction 52 of 2021 sets out what a person must do when in quarantine at the Centre for National Resilience and at Alice Springs Quarantine Facility. This direction is law - every person in quarantine must do what the Direction says. If a person does not follow the Direction, the Northern Territory Police may issue an Infringement Notice with a financial penalty.

This Direction works to prevent transmission of COVID-19 between residents in quarantine thereby keeping all residents, all staff and our community safe. If COVID-19 is spread between residents because people do not following this Direction, affected residents will be required to remain in quarantine beyond 14 days.

A person in quarantine must;

stay in the person's allocated room, including on any veranda space allocated to the room, unless permitted by an authorised officer; and

when not in their room, or on their veranda, residents must take all reasonable measures to stay at least 1.5 metres away from any other person in the quarantine facility, except for the person's spouse, de facto partner, child or parent; and

wear a face mask when outside their room unless an authorised officer permits the person to remove the face mask; and

comply with any directions given by an authorised officer to avoid people congregating in a quarantine zone; and

must not leave the quarantine zone in which the person's allocated room is located unless the person is escorted by an authorised officer, except in an emergency.

You are not able to share or hand over physical objects to residents who are not your family members. COVID-19 lives on surfaces so you must not give items, toys, food, activities, or play games like cards with people outside your family.

Quarantine facility staff will remind you about wearing your mask, staying on your veranda and physically distancing through information in your resident booklet, by sending you sms reminder texts and verbally in person if we see you are not following the Direction.

COVID-19 Testing

All residents in quarantine, including all children are tested three times during their stay on day 1, 5 and 12. These tests are a nose and throat swabs.

If you do not undergo a test, you will be required to remain in quarantine a further 10 days at your own expense.

Once upon a time in the colonial yesteryear it was blackfella poisonings and forced family separations. As reported already by Cairns News, children from 11 upwards are being held against their will and force vaccinated by these teams of health workers supported by police and army personnel approved by the Morrison government. “We’re in a state of emergency. This is a crisis situation here in the Territory – an act of war against our people,” a community woman posted in a video on social media.

She said food supplies were also being withheld from families and Territory child welfare services were “waiting like vultures” to grab the children because of this situation. “So the government has got all these angles stitched up, but the bottom line is that they are vaccinating our people against their will.” She added there were reports of police at Port Keats rounding up people, taking them to the clinic and forcibly vaccinating them.

She said the government had also taken control of communications from these remote communities and it was difficult to confirm information. “There’s a state of emergency here. I’m putting out a cry for help to he world,” she said.

Cutting off food supplies and interference in communications suggests a well-planned military operation designed to intimidate the communities. Cairns News suspects these forced vaccinations are being driven by generous per capita “grants” sponsored from the swill of corrupt Covid dollars floating around government circles.

Gunner and his Labor Party mate Mark McGowan from WA, are drunk on the Covid quarantine powers given to them by Morrison, quarantine powers that constitutionally, are the jurisdiction of the Commonwealth. And Gunner, in the fascist dictator style of Dan Andrews, has targeted these small, impoverished indigenous communities to show us what a “strongman” he is.

My own pupils targeted me in the TikTok paedophile craze – now I can't go back to our school

Teachers have always had to expect a certain amount of stick from their pupils. It’s part of the job; normally we don’t grumble too much about it. Over my 14 years in the profession I’ve worked across nine secondary schools, teaching history in Wales, Blackpool, and Liverpool.

Sometimes, I encountered challenging behavioural problems. I’ve been told to “f- off”; called an “idiot” and a “tw”. Teenagers can be aggressive, but as a teacher you can’t take any of it to heart. We have to depersonalise the abuse, leaving it at the school gates at the end of the day. Normally, I’m fairly good at doing that. It’s an issue I discuss regularly on Teachers’ Talk Radio, an online radio station I help to direct.

But a week ago, that changed. I was labelled a paedophile by an anonymous TikTok user, presumably a pupil at my school. For the first time in my career I felt truly shocked – and afraid.

And it appears I’m not the only one. This week, the NASUWT teachers' union warned that teachers are quitting their jobs because of the latest TikTok craze, in which pupils falsely label their teachers as paedophiles or adulterers. The new phenomenon sees children posting images or videos of teachers with hashtags (a feature that lets users search for the different topics on TikTok) such as #paedo.

The tech company said it “regretted” the slurs and that it was “proactively” searching for such malicious allegations.

My own ordeal started when a senior member of staff at my school (a comprehensive in the North West) called me into a meeting, and told me that an “abusive” video about me had been posted online.

I went home, slightly confused, and opened my laptop. It took me about 30 seconds to find what my colleague had been talking about. On TikTok, I found a mysterious account with an anonymous username. They had posted three videos, one of which was critical of my school. The other two videos focused solely on me. The anonymous user had taken photographs from my professional Twitter account, and overlaid them with text.

One piece of text called me a “nonce”. Another said I “touched children”, asking: “How many children do you touch? Thousands, millions?.” With a sickening feeling, I spotted that the post had been viewed by 12,000 people. I scrolled through the comments, a sea of ‘likes’ and cry-laugh emojis, some of which were posted by pupils from my school, with usernames I recognised. One of the commenters said I “touched [their] shoulder”. It was all very jokey and light-hearted; to them, it seemed like a big laugh. To me, it was far more serious.

Nobody wants to be labelled a paedophile. But as a teacher, it can prove career-ending. I started to worry about my future. How was I going to face my pupils on Monday morning, aware that many of them were laughing at me, and spreading terrible rumours behind my back? It might sound far-fetched, but I even started to worry about being victimised by a vigilante group.

I assume the videos were posted by a pupil, but it’s hard to know for sure. I racked my brain for a motive – what would make a teenager target me like this? But I truly have no idea. I’m a relatively strict teacher, and there are any number of things that might have turned a child against me.

I immediately reported the videos to TikTok, but they didn’t act for several days, once my story had already been highlighted in the press. My school, meanwhile, reported the account to Merseyside Police, who told me the videos “do not meet the threshold for further investigation”. You can falsely call someone a paedophile online, it seems, with zero repercussions.

Friends and fellow teachers shared my horror. I’m 36 – when I started in the profession, nobody had to worry about online abuse. Bad behaviour and name-calling stayed in the classroom. Now, it can be broadcast to thousands of people within seconds.

A doctor signed me off work for stress; I haven’t been into school since. My contract with my current school finishes at the end of this term. I never imagined my time there would end this way – but I just can’t handle the fear of pupils laughing at me behind my back. In January, I start afresh, with a new job at a new school. Hopefully, things will improve.

Policymakers worry, as they are right to, about the effect of social media on the minds of our young people. Isn’t it time somebody worried about the effect it’s having on teachers, too?

After the parade tragedy, Brooks was seen on a Ring doorbell video asking a Waukesha resident for help.

Daniel Rider, 24, told CNN he was in his recliner watching football on Sunday, unaware of what happened at the parade.

He said a man later identified as Brooks rang his doorbell and asked to use his phone to call an Uber, saying he was homeless.

Rider's family had recently told him about a sermon calling on everyone to help the homeless. So he invited Brooks in, made him a sandwich and let him use his phone.

Rider said Brooks smelled of marijuana, but he didn't feel threatened by the man in his home.

When he saw police going up and down his street, he had a feeling it was related to Brooks. So he asked Brooks to leave, and he did.

Brooks then returned, claiming his ID was left in the house, but Rider wouldn't open the door.

Police told Brooks to put up his hands and arrested him in front of Rider's home.

"Uber showed up maybe a minute after he was in custody," Rider said. "So I just think about sometimes if he'd gotten in that car, what could have happened?"

The foundation leant the bail money, the money has to be returned to the person who loaned the money for bail. The defendant doesnt get to keep regardless of how it was raised. Kyle is naive to think anyone in his circle does not have “a cause” or reason for being involved. Of course Fightback Foundation was helping Kyle charitably but also they were doing the mission of the foundation to fight back against illegal and unjust matters.

There is a lot of other proof that Linn did nothing wrong, had no involvement in his criminal case, and Linn has a right to get back any money he personally loaned and the foundation get back the money they loaned, like every bail money ever given.

Whats fucking surprising to me how money journalists (right wing), politicians, influencers are attacking Linn Wood & believing a 17-18 year old kid actually knows the complete story, and he cant know if hes being lied to by his trusted advisors.

I think the main truth is that his advisors told him to distance himself from Linn because of Q and bevause of election fraud. And Hancock lied about the bail money.

Before yelling at me, do your own research. Dont believe a kid that probably doesn’t know the full story and be wary when Tucker interviews him within hours after the acquittal.
