Newsom Ordered by CA Supreme Court to Defend $75 Million Giveaway to Illegals

Californians struggling to make ends meet during extended coronavirus shutdowns were not amused when their governor, Gavin Newsom, announced the creation of a public-private partnership to give away $125 million ($500/person) in pandemic relief grants to illegal immigrants who are ineligible to receive unemployment benefits or federal stimulus checks (because they are not here legally, duh). Newsom further explained that of the $125 million in funding, $75 million would come from taxpayer funds (without explaining any legislative process appropriating such funds) and that “a group of charities” had promised to chip in $50 million. An accompanying press release gave more details (emphasis added).

There’s only one problem. California’s Constitution forbids appropriating funds “to any corporation, association, asylum, hospital, or any other institution not under the exclusive management and control of the State as a state institution.” Newsom had attempted this method of distribution since, under state and federal law, unemployment benefits cannot be extended to illegal aliens either without caring that it was prohibited under California’s constitution, or believing that no one would care enough to challenge it. He was wrong. On April 22 Ricardo Benitez, a legal immigrant from El Salvador, and Jessica Martinez, a Californian of Mexican/American descent, “filed an emergency petition to the California Supreme Court requesting the Court immediately stay Governor Newsom’s appropriation of $75 million to unnamed regional non-profits so they can, in turn, provide $500 checks to unemployed undocumented immigrants.” Benitez and Martinez are both Republican candidates for the California State Assembly and are represented by The Center for American Liberty in conjunction with Harmeet Dhillon and Mark Meuser of the Dhillon Law Firm.

According to the petition, the network of unnamed charities, which are all illegal immigrant advocacy groups, will pocket 40 percent of the total funding to administer the program. This is nothing more than money laundering to keep these favored charities going through the pandemic. Just a day after the petition was filed the California Supreme Court requested that Newsom and California Attorney General Xavier Becerra reply to the petition by April 28.

Dhillon appeared on Fox & Friends Saturday morning to discuss the lawsuit and the Plaintiffs’ arguments. As Dhillon says in the interview, since it doesn’t violate the California Constitution for the state to give food or clothing or material goods to illegal aliens who are in need, Newsom could appropriate money to that, or could simply ask that network of philanthropists who are going to pony up $50 million for his money laundering scheme to donate $75 million directly to the illegal aliens he’s so concerned about. But that wouldn’t allow him to take credit in his re-election campaign and wouldn’t line the pockets of the activists whose support he will need to man phone banks and walk precincts.

China has a major reason for pushing the fake news story that the Wuhan coronavirus was created randomly in a wet market.

Former New York Mayor and Trump supporter and Trump personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani interviewed former US Attorney Joe diGenova and his attorney wife and partner, Victoria Toensing, about corrupt Joe Biden’s activities in China and around the globe.

At the 12:00 mark, Joe and Victoria state that the Bidens are more corrupt than the Clintons. A very shocking statement, indeed. The interview was excellent.

After Rudy interviewed Joe and Victoria, he brought in K. T. McFarland, who at the 30:00 minute mark, revealed why China continues to claim the China coronavirus came from a wet market:

One of the reasons that they keep insisting, despite mounting evidence that it came from a lab in Wuhan, they keep insisting, no, no, it came from a wet market, or maybe it was America who did it. They cannot admit culpability for the following reason, if they do, then there’s a clause that they put into the Phase 1 US-China Trade Deal, where in essence in this trade deal it said we would lift sanctions, we would lift the tariffs on them and then they would buy a lot of agriculture and other goods from us.

But there’s a clause that’s in there, a get out of jail free clause, which says, however, if there is a natural occurring disaster, the two parties will renegotiate. In other words, China doesn’t necessarily want to keep the terms of the deal. And so it’s very important for everybody, for them, to say, well, it’s a naturally occurring disaster coming out of the wet lab. It wasn’t China who did that.

So not only do they give themselves an out for the trade deal, that they were pressured into signing, but they also will give themselves an out if companies and countries and individuals, all come to the International Courts and try to sue China.

Chinese Company Suspected of Spying on U.S. Citizens Donates Police Drones to 22 States

Chinese company Da Jiang Innovations, the world’s largest maker of drones, has donated drones to 43 law enforcement agencies operating in 22 U.S. states to enforce social distancing rules.

Police in Elizabeth, N.J., for example, are using the drones to surveil residents in places where patrol cars can’t easily reach, such as spaces between buildings and back yards.

“If these drones save one life, it is clearly worth the activity and the information that the drones are sending,” Elizabeth mayor Chris Bollwage told MSNBC.

In 2017, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security warned in a memo that DJI was “selectively targeting government and privately owned entities within these sectors to expand its ability to collect and exploit sensitive U.S. data.”

The Interior Department in 2019 grounded its entire fleet of DJI-manufactured drones, which had been used to surveil U.S. land, due to concerns that China was using the drones to gather data on critical U.S. infrastructure.

DJI has asserted that concerns about its drones are groundless.

“There are people who don’t like China but they are trying to score ideological points by trying to dicourage the use of equipment and important tools that save lives,” DJI spokesman Alex Lisberg told Fox News in response to allegations of spying.

Chinese authorities have deployed drones to police citizens breaking lockdown rules during the coronavirus pandemic. Footage gathered from police UAV’s shows the drones, operated by police on the ground, warning residents by loudspeaker to return to their homes. Residents of China have faced sweeping lockdowns in response to the coronavirus, with reports of authorities locking some citizens in their homes for quarantine.

John Podesta and George Soros Connected to Consortium Behind Russia Collusion Sham Now Pushing Democrat Coronavirus Investigation

Creepy John Podesta and George Soros are connected to a consortium behind the creators of the Steele dossier and the Senate report on Russia collusion – both totally bogus reports. Now they’re working on the upcoming investigation into the President’s actions with the coronavirus.

Daniel Jones, a former staffer for Democrat Dianne Feinstein, received awards for his efforts in the Democrat’s horrible CIA torture report where he was connected to Senate Intelligence Committee staffer James Wolfe. A woman from the New York Times, Ali Watson, almost received a Pulitzer for her reporting on this subject. Watson was the young girl who was reporting classified information in the Times that was given to her by the much older man she was sleeping with, James Wolfe.

Wolfe was eventually arrested for leaking classified information to his younger partner from the NYT and was indicted for lying to the FBI, a much lesser charge, and sentenced to only two months in prison (a significantly minor charge when compared to the illegal leaks he was accused of participating in).

After his work on the bogus Senate CIA torture report, Jones moved on to bigger and better things. In our post in June 2018 we noted that:

A group of about 7-10 wealthy donors from California (Silicon Valley) and New York spent $50 million to fund a Trump-Russia investigation conducted by none other than Christopher Steele, Fusion GPS and a former staffer for Dem Senator Dianne Feinstein named Daniel Jones.

Chuck Ross at the Daily Caller provided more information this week on Jones’ actions with Fusion GPS. According to Ross:

Jones told the FBI in March 2017 that he had secured $50 million in funding from a group of wealthy donors and had “secured services of Steele … and Fusion GPS to continue exposing Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. Presidential election.”

Jones also told the bureau he “planned to share the information he obtained with policymakers … and with the press.”

Simpson and Fusion GPS co-founder Peter Fritsch wrote in their recent book, “Crime in Progress,” that former Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta was “most helpful” in setting up fundraising meetings for Jones’s venture.

“Podesta agreed to contact some friends out west on Jones’s behalf and told him to drop his name in talks with other potential supporters,” Simpson and Fritsch wrote.

Ross continues:

Jones has not disclosed the funders for TDIP and ADI [the two firms Jones founded]. But the DCNF has confirmed that Open Society Foundation, a non-profit network controlled by billionaire George Soros, contributed $1.5 million in 2017 and 2018 to TDIP. A dark money group called the Fund for a Better Future contributed $2,065,000 to TDIP in 2017. The Silicon Valley Community Foundation gave $500,000 to ADI in 2018, according to tax records.

Jones created Advance Democracy Inc. (ADI) and The Democracy Integrity Project (TDIP) as nonprofits. These two firms paid New Knowledge, a cyber security firm that contributed to a 2018 Senate Intelligence Committee report about Russian disinformation, nearly $500,000 in 2018.

‘Pedophile Hunter’ Catches Child Predator, Cops Show Up, Arrest Him, Let Predator Go

UNION, NJ – Another pedophile hunter has been arrested for obstruction of justice and disorderly conduct. A sexual predator hunter who goes by the name of “Ramy” impersonates underaged boys and girls in hopes predators will expose themselves and attempt to meet the underage child for sex, which is a crime. He has plenty of videos showing this success.

Ramy, 25, engaged in chat with a man who said he and his girlfriend wanted to have a three-way with the underage teen. The founder of Predator Poachers of New Jersey, Ramy, then met the man in the parking lot of a local pharmacy.

Very politely, one might say, Ramy approached the man who’d driven to the pharmacy. He told the man he wasn’t there to hurt him and only wanted to ask him a few questions. The unnamed John who was there to have sex with a 13-year-old girl appeared to believe Ramy was the police. He put his hands on the steering wheel in the 10 and 2 position and put the keys to his vehicle on top of his car.

Ramy made sure to tell the alleged child predator that he was not a cop. The man complied anyway.

The would be perpetrator exited the vehicle when asked to do so and followed Ramy over to the sidewalk of the pharmacy to have a little chat. Ramy assured the man if he told the “truth” the police would not be called.

Slowly and reluctantly the man then began to describe and admit he was there to engage in sex with the 13-year-old. The police then showed up and began to treat the situation as a crime scene, asking Ramy to move to his patrol car. The officer then began to speak with the would-be child rapist.

Soon after, a few more backup officers arrived and instead of allowing the predator hunters to do their work as good citizens, promptly took their phones away, which was recording the police contact live, and arrested Ramy, the founder and leader of the organization. Ramy was charged with Obstruction of Justice and Disorderly Conduct, even though he assured the officers he was working as an informant for a local detective.

In a recent interview with the Bunker Fly Podcast, Ramy told the show he got started in Mixed Martial Arts at an early age, 16. He said one of his teachers was very respected and knew MMA very well. He also said he had no idea the teacher was sexually abusing kids in his Taekwondo class.

From that point forward, he knew he had to do something. He said his martial arts training keeps him physically safe but he’s on a “mission”. He insists he helps attempt to rehab the perverted predators by taking them to sexaholics group meetings and therapy sessions as needed.

Ramy says he uses a multitude of social networking apps to “create a profile…using an underage minors either boy or girl…and then I always wait for them (the predators) to initiate the conversation.”

EU Kowtows to China, Revises Coronavirus Disinfo Report After CCP Pressure

The European Union rewrote and softened a report that detailed the coronavirus disinformation campaign carried out by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) after receiving pressure from apparatchiks in Beijing.

The initial version of the report from the European External Action Service (EEAS) pointed to Chinese propaganda, such as blaming the United States for spreading the Wuhan virus, accusing France of responding too slowly to the pandemic, and claims that French officials had used racial slurs about the director of the World Health Organization (WHO) Tedros Adhanom — claims denied by France.

“China has continued to run a global disinformation campaign to deflect blame for the outbreak of the pandemic and improve its international image,” the initial report stated, according to the New York Times.

Before the report was released, however, officials from the communist-run country began pressuring the European Union — and the bloc ultimately bowed to the pressure, removing any reference to the “global disinformation campaign” carried out by China as well as the diplomatic spat between the CCP and France.

“The Chinese are already threatening with reactions if the report comes out,” wrote EU diplomat Lutz Güllner in a leaked email.

In another email, Esther Osorio, a senior adviser to the EU’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Josep Borrell, wrote that the report should focus less on the disinformation campaigns carried out by China “as we already see heavy pushback from CN [China]”.

A spokesman for the EU, Peter Stano, denied that the report was modified as a result of pressure from the Chinese regime, but analysts that worked on the report say otherwise.

One analyst wrote that European Union diplomats were “self-censoring to appease the Chinese Communist Party” and that “appeasement will set a terrible precedent and encourage similar coercion in the future.”

Jakub Janda, the executive director of the European Values Centre for Security Policy, said that the Chinese pressure campaign was being used as “a test” for the CCP to see what level of influence it has over the bloc.

The European Union is currently trying to secure better trade arrangements for European companies in China. Trade between China and the EU was estimated to total $1.6 billion per day, making the bloc China’s top trading partner. The EU has also been heavily reliant on Chinese medical supplies during the coronavirus pandemic — although much of it has been revealed to be faulty.

In response to the report, China’s top diplomat to the EU told the Financial Times: “We do better to forget the politics now,” adding: “We are in a battle, a battle between the sapiens and the virus.”

Knowing the Republican president would not, could not veto a bill he requested, the Democratically controlled House attached $1.8 billion dollars in welfare and environmental spending to the flu bill. The media outcry, linking the deaths to the immunizations without any proof, was so loud it drew an on-air rebuke from CBS news anchor Walter Cronkite, who warned his colleagues of the dangers of post hoc ergo propter hoc ("after this, therefore, because of this") thinking. But it was too late. The government had long feared mass panic about swine flu - now they feared mass panic about the swine flu vaccinations.

The deaths in Pittsburgh, though proved not to be related to the vaccine, were a strong setback to the program. The death blow came a few weeks later when reports appeared of Guillain-Barré syndrome, a paralyzing neuromuscular disorder, among some people who had received swine flu immunizations. The public refused to trust a government-operated health program that killed old people and crippled young people; as a result, less than 33 percent of the population had been immunized by the end of 1976. The National Influenza Immunization Program was effectively halted on Dec. 16.

Gerald Ford's attempt to gain credit for keeping America safe was busted. He lost the presidential election to Jimmy Carter that November. The 1976 to 1977 flu season was the most flu-free since records had been kept; a condition that was apparently unrelated to the vaccination program. Saudi Arabia to take on billions in debt to survive the oil price crisis

Saudi Arabia may have to borrow as much as $58 billion this year to cover a budget shortfall caused by the oil price slump, Bloomberg reports, citing Finance Minister Mohammed al-Jadaan.

Al-Jadaan told media this week that the Kingdom might issue bonds worth $26.57 billion (100 billion riyals) this year in addition to an earlier issue of $31.88 billion (120 billion riyals) worth of debt.

Saudi Aramco, for its part, is considering a $10 billion sale in part of its pipeline business, Bloomberg reported on Thursday.

“The kingdom went through similar crises in its history – maybe even worse – and was able to pass through them,” Al-Jadaan said. “This is not an exception.”

Most observers note that this price crisis is like no other in history. The unique combination of excess supply and a 30 percent drop in demand weighs heavily on oil-dependent economies throughout the world, and even low-cost Saudi Arabia is not exempt.

The oil market is indeed flooded. The Wall Street Journal reported earlier this week, citing Saudi oil officials, that at least one in every ten VLCCs, each capable of carrying 2 million barrels of oil, is used for floating storage with many holding Saudi crude. Some of that, the sources said, had yet to find buyers.

Saudi Arabia is bracing for the inevitable blow. In March, the government asked state agencies to cut their budgets by at least 20 percent, Reuters reported, citing sources in the know who declined to be named. That was before OPEC+ agreed to implement cuts of 9.7 million bpd in hopes this would help prices. It didn’t.

Now, according to an analyst with an Egypt-based investment bank, the Saudi deficit could widen to 15 percent of GDP, Bloomberg notes. That would be less than the 17 percent recorded for 2016, but it would still be quite brutal for the Kingdom that had to roll back austerity measures it implemented during the 2014-2016 crisis pretty quickly as bureaucrats rebelled.

Health Minister Greg Hunt confirmed the latest data on downloads on Sunday night just hours after it was launched.

Praising Australians for helping virus trackers to beat COVID-19, he urged people to download the app and allow for faster contact tracing.

“As at 10:30 PM, 1 million Australians have now downloaded and registered for the #CovidSafeapp – please join us and help protect ourselves, our families, each other but above all else our nurses and doctors,’’ Mr Hunt said.

Australian billionaire Mike Cannon-Brooks, the co-founder of the software company Atlassian also urged the tech community to back the app and “fight misinformation.”

Writing on the Hacker News website, he was confident the Morrison Government would also release the COVIDSafe app code as a transparency measure.

“They’re obviously operating with extreme urgency to get the app out. For you,’’ he said.

“Turn the HN angry mob mode off – it’s not helpful. We’re all in this together. They won’t get it all right – and we as a tech community can help them. Find a bug & help get them closed.

“When asked by non-technical people “Should I install this app? Is my data/privacy safe? Is it true it doesn’t track my location?” – say “Yes” and help them understand.

“Fight the misinformation. Remind them how little time they think before they download dozens of free, adware crap games that are likely far worse for their data & privacy than this ever would be. Thank you.”

On Thursday the Trump administration highlighted potential treatment for the coronavirus by blasting UV light on the lungs. The liberal media was aghast and mocked him all day Friday.

But this is not an unusual idea and one company AYTU Healight is working on a proposed prototype to treat the coronavirus.

On Saturday YouTube removed the AYTU Healight video on their COVID-19 treatment plan.

Saturday night Twitter then moved and suspended a publicly traded companies Twitter account because they’re the company the President of the United States was referring to about having a UV related cure for the coronavirus.

Who is Jim Garrow?

A fellow by the name of Jim Garrow has recently become the darling of the U.S. alt media, appearing on Alex Jones, Glenn Beck, Erik Rush, and many other shows. He claims to have been an alphabet agency operative (more on that below), and frequently cites inside sources at the highest levels of American intelligence. If Jim Garrow said, "I know what my next door neighbour gets up to when no one's looking," I would be inclined to believe what he had to say without too many questions. But when someone steps forward and announces that he knows what Earth's most prominent head of state is doing when no one's looking, I have to ask questions. Such as: "Who exactly are you, dude?"

U.S.-Mexico-Canada trade agreement to take effect July 1

April 25 (UPI) - The Trump administration announced Saturday that the reworked trade agreement with Mexico and Canada will take effect July 1. According to a news release from U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer's office, the three countries "have taken measures necessary to comply with their commitments" in order to enter the agreement. The administration began rewriting the 25-year-old North American Free Trade Agreement three years ago.

The deal, which passed out of the Senate in January and the House in December, keeps much of NAFTA in place, but requires that 75 percent of vehicle parts made in North America must remain duty-free, an increase from 62.5 percent. It also requires that up to 45 percent of car components be made by factory workers earning $16 per hour. Some U.S. business leaders have called for a delay in implementation of USMCA due to economic difficulties created by the COVID-19 pandemic - and even before the pandemic, some argued the July 1 goal was ambitious. "Given the pandemic's really unprecedented economic disruption, companies will need time to adapt to the new regulations, some of which have yet to be issued," said John Murphy, senior vice president for international policy at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. "Industry wants the administration to show flexibility in the months before and after entry into force so they can focus on making payroll and avoiding layoffs." Last week, the Commercial Customs Operations Advisory Committee, which was created by Congress to advise Customs and Border Protection, also urged the administration not to implement the deal before 2021.

The administration has, in turn, argued that the pandemic has underscored the urgency of implementing the new agreement. "The crisis and recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic demonstrates that now, more than ever, the United States should strive to increase manufacturing capacity and investment in North America," Lighthizer said. "The USMCA's entry into force is a landmark achievement in that effort. Under President Trump's leadership, USTR will continue working to ensure a smooth implementation of the USMCA so that American workers and businesses can enjoy the benefits of the new agreement."

Watching the news in China in January, they knew the virus was on its way. They ordered many COVID-19 tests because they knew they would need them. EVERETT — Snohomish County Sheriff Adam Fortney called Gov. Jay Inslee’s stay-home order unconstitutional and said he would not enforce it — prompting frustrated responses Wednesday from the governor, the state attorney general and the county executive.

Fortney expressed his discontent in a 1,100-word Facebook post after watching a public address by Inslee Tuesday evening. The sheriff added his voice to a chorus of largely conservative elected officials and protestors unhappy with the state’s order during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“As your elected Sheriff I will always put your constitutional rights above politics or popular opinion,” Fortney wrote. “We have the right to peaceably assemble. We have the right to keep and bear arms. We have the right to attend church service of any denomination. The impacts of COVID-19 no longer warrant the suspension of our constitutional rights.”.....

More than 21,000 complaints have been logged by the state alleging violations of the stay-home directive. State agencies have largely relied on voluntary compliance and have yet to initiate enforcement action on any of them. The attorney general has sued a property management firm for allegedly violating an eviction moratorium order.

“Sheriff Fortney does not get to decide what is constitutional,” state Attorney General Bob Ferguson tweeted Wednesday. “That is up to the courts. I plan to follow up directly with Sheriff Fortney.”

Fortney is the top cop in the state’s third-most-populous county, with an estimated 822,000 residents. As sheriff in a non-partisan post, Fortney is also in charge of the county jail, where at least two past inmates have tested positive for the virus.

Snohomish County had the nation’s first announced case of COVID-19 and one of the first U.S. deaths. To date, there have been 2,209 confirmed and 177 probable cases of COVID-19, and 98 deaths, the health district reported Wednesday. Statewide, there have been 12,494 confirmed cases and 692 fatalities.

Three killed in small plane crash in northern Nevada

April 26 (UPI) - Two adults and a child from Arizona were killed in a plane crash in northern Nevada near Utah. A Beechcraft BE35 Bonanza crashed near Goshute Peak, east of Elko, which is about 290 miles east of Reno and 229 miles west of Salt Lake City, late Friday night. On Saturday, the occupants were identified as Thomas A. Kvanvig, 48, Stacie M. Kvanvig, 49; and Daniel Kvanvig, 8, of Chandler.

The Air Force notified the Elko County Sheriff's Office about a possible plane down, according to chief deputy coroner Nick Czegledi. A REACH aircraft spotted the wreckage about 20 to 25 miles from the Utah border after midnight Saturday. The Beechcraft was trying to land for unknown reasons and came down hard, nose down, Czegledi said. The sheriff's office is assisting the FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board in the investigation.

Approximately 10,400 Model 35 Bonanzas of all variants were built between 1945 and 1982, according to Airliners.net. Models seat four to six passengers.

Mexico all but empties migrant shelters under coronavirus

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - Mexico has almost entirely cleared out its migrant shelters over the past five weeks to contain the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, returning most of the occupants to their countries of origin, official data showed on Sunday.

In a statement, the National Migration Institute (INM) said that in order to comply with health and safety guidelines, since March 21 it had been removing migrants from Mexico’s 65 migrant facilities, which were harboring 3,759 people last month.

In the intervening weeks, Mexico has returned 3,653 migrants to Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador by road and air with the result that only 106 people remain in the shelters, it said.

Deborah Birx: Social Distancing Guidelines to Continue ‘Through the Summer’

While many Americans are hopeful things will go back to normal by summertime, one leading health expert is not so sure the nation will be out of the woods by then.

Dr. Deborah Birx, leading health expert and member of the coronavirus task force, believes social distancing guidelines will be with the nation through the summer.

“Social distancing will be with us through the summer to really ensure that we protect one another as we move through these phases,” Birx said.

NBC’s Chuck Todd asked Birx if Vice President Mike Pence’s belief “by Memorial Day weekend we will largely have the coronavirus pandemic behind us” is realistic.

She explained he was most likely basing his assertion on the models and data tracking every single outbreak of the coronavirus in the United States separately.

Birx pointed to places including Louisiana, Houston, and Detroit, as examples of how they have reached their peaks and have since come down.

She noted these examples give health experts hope when looking at Boston, Chicago, and the New York metro area.

New York has become the epicenter of the coronavirus. As of Sunday afternoon, the state is reporting over 282,000 coronavirus cases and more than 16,000 deaths.

As health experts continue to search for a treatment for the coronavirus, Birx recently defended President Donald Trump’s remarks on using disinfectant injections as a potential solution, as IJR previously reported.

“When he gets new information, he likes to talk that through out loud and really have that dialogue,” Birx said.

She added, “And so that’s what dialogue he was having. I think he just saw the information at the time, immediately before the press conference, and he was still digesting that information.”

As of Sunday afternoon, the United States has more than 941,000 confirmed coronavirus cases and over 54,000 deaths, according to reports.

Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin forecasted an economic rebound this summer after businesses begin reopening during the next couple of months and consumer demand resurges.

"Well Chris I think as we begin to reopen the economy in May and June you're gonna see the economy really bounce back in July, August September," Mnuchin said during an interview with Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday.

Mnuchin said the "unprecedented amount of fiscal relief" being pumped into the nation's economy will "have a significant impact."

The Paycheck Protection Program enacted to assist businesses amid the coronavirus crisis quickly ran out of funding, and Congress recently approved additional money for the program. When Wallace asked Mnuchin how long he believes the new infusion of funding will last, Mnuchin said that "the sooner the money is disbursed the better."

"So the first round impacted about 30 million workers. I think this round will be about the same. That'll be close to 50 percent of the private workforce. So I actually hope that we run out of money quickly so we can get the money into the workers' pockets," Mnuchin said.

Mnuchin likened the pandemic to a war, and said that the government will spend even more money if necessary, though he noted that any spending would need bipartisan backing.

"And if we need more money, as I've said, this is a war, we'll win this war. If we need to spend more money we will. And we'll only do it with bipartisan support," he said.

Sen. Tillis backs McConnell’s idea to allow struggling states to declare bankruptcy

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) has received some support for his idea to let struggling states file for bankruptcy. On Friday, Sen. Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) told his constituents he is “more or less aligned with McConnell.” Growing controversy has sparked over the idea of allowing struggling states to declare bankruptcy. Several political figures have questioned its constitutionality.

“There is no level of responsibility associated with that, I don’t care what party you’re in,” stated New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy. “Encouraging, engendering, explicitly almost hoping for bankruptcies of American states in the midst of the biggest health crisis this country has ever faced is completely and utterly irresponsible.” Earlier this week, McConnell came under fire after he claimed it would be better for states to declare bankruptcy than to rely on federal assistance. Lawmakers from both sides have since criticized his remarks, including various governors nationwide.

The GOP leader also received backlash from lawmakers in his home state. “I very strongly disagree with him here, as does every other governor in the country, regardless of party,” said Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear. “I hope those comments were off the cuff,…because bankruptcy for a state would be disastrous.”

According to Tillis, states should focus recovery efforts on essential services, like firefighting, law enforcement and schooling. The Republican lawmaker believes poorly run states shouldn’t get taxpayer money, especially if they were struggling before the virus.

New Jersey Public School Teacher Caught on Camera Telling Students She Hopes They Die From Coronavirus For Playing Outside

A math teacher at Steinert High School in New Jersey was caught on camera telling students who were playing football in the park that they should “die a long, painful death” from the coronavirus.

The woman in the video, Nicole Griggs, has been a teacher in the district for the last 15 years.

One of the students that the unhinged teacher confronted told the Trentonian that they were playing football on Thursday at the former Homedell School when the incident took place. They captured video of her confrontation and posted it to Snapchat and TikTok with the caption “Y’all Mrs Griggs is losing her damn mind how tf is she a teacher #coronavirus.”

Griggs began by warning them that they could get in trouble being out, but as she became more aggressive, she told the kids that she doesn’t care if her meltdown is posted online.

“Parks closed. The whole area,” Griggs says. “Get it through your thick head. You are the reason we are in this situation. You are the problem, not the solution. Go ahead keep recording. Who are you going to show it to? Post me on social media. You’re the idiot doing the wrong thing. I’m just trying to save your ass and save your life. But die, OK. I hope both of you get the coronavirus. I hope you both die a long, painful death.”

The students agreed they shouldn’t have been out, and went home afterwards, but were shocked by the teacher’s words.

“When she said that, I was shocked,” the Steinert student said. “I didn’t know someone would say something like that, especially a teacher. She should be smarter with her words.”

The Trentonian reports that this isn’t the first time Griggs has wished death on people for not following the social distancing orders. They uncovered an April 6 post on Facebook by a woman named “Nikki Leigh” that appears to be an alias for Griggs.

Bill Gates vehemently defended China's initial response to the coronavirus outbreak on Sunday, telling CNN's Fareed Zakaria that the communist country - which silenced whistleblowers and lied about transmissibility - "did a lot of things right."

"How would you respond to the charge that hte Chinese covered this up. They've essentially deceived the rest of the world, and as a result, they should be held in some way responsible for this?" asked Zakaria.

To which Gates responded: "Well, I don't think that's a timely thing because it doesn't affect how we act today. You know, China did a lot of things right. At the beginning, like any country where a virus first shows up, they can look back and say that they missed some things," Gates said, adding "Some countries did respond very quickly and get their testing in place, and they avoided the incredible economic pain - and it's sad that even the US that you would have expected to do this well, did it particularly poorly - but it's not time to talk about that."

Gates then suggested that this is the time "to take the great science we have, the fact that we're in this together, fix testing and treatments and get that vaccine, and minimize the trillions in dollars and many things that you can't even dimensionalize in economic terms that are awful about the situation that we're in.

Video of former Democrat legislator and gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams plotting to use re-districting to “stop white people” from governing has been uncovered.

Abrams is being pushed as a possible Vice Presidential candidate for Joe Biden.

The 2014 video, uncovered by Patrick Howley at the National File, reveals her plan to change the racial demographics of the electorate heading into the 2021 congressional and legislative re-districting efforts based on the 2020 Census.

The comments were made at the 2014 Power PAC + National Conference, titled “Race Will Win the Race: The Progressive Path to Victory.”

“My eye is on 2021. Because when we do re-districting in 2021, if we have not changed the electorate, especially in the South, we will have a majority minority population that is governed by a minority white conservative coalition. And that’s the most dangerous precedent that we can possibly set for the South in the next 20 years,” Abrams said.

Howley has become quite the powerhouse when it comes to digging up the goods on far left politicians. He made massive waves when he uncovered the blackface yearbook photos of Virginia Governor Ralph Northam.

Speaking to Gateway Pundit, Howley said that he has collected troves of data on all enemies of President Donald Trump.

“I have spent several years extensively collecting data on all of the President’s enemies, stockpiling it like canned goods for the time that is now upon us. It will only get worse for them as the election goes on,” Howley said. “This clip proves once and for all that Democrat demographic politics are in motion. It’s not a conspiracy theory. The Left is weaponizing race for cynical electoral gain, and the Republican Establishment needs to stop looking over their press clippings and scheduling their CNN hits and live in the cold reality confronting us.”

Mayor Bill de Blasio announced Sunday that he has put First Lady Chirlane McCray in charge of a special coronavirus task force — insisting her work with her embattled ThriveNYC initiative made her perfect for the new job. McCray will work with Deputy Mayor Phil Thompson in leading a task force on racial inclusion and equity to make sure the Big Apple rebounds as a “better and more just society than the one we left behind,” Hizzoner said.

The mayor insisted that the First Lady deserved her place at the head of the new initiative because of the ideas she generated — defying critics and praising her work with her $250 million-a-year mental health plan. “In terms of fighting inequality, Thrive has gone to that point and in many ways even farther,” he insisted, praising his wife’s work in “putting a light” to serious issues, making her an obvious choice for the new role. “I think that’s exactly the kind of mindset needed for this task force,” he insisted of his 65-year-old wife.

Critics have charged that McCray’s ThriveNYC program is both ineffective and ripe for abuse as a political cudgel. The racial inequality task force, meanwhile, was one of a series of working groups being set up to help prepare the Big Apple to reopen after the lockdown, the Mayor announced, saying they will start meeting “in a matter of days.” The crisis has highlighted the “many things that are broken in our city and in our country,” Hizzoner insisted at Sunday’s press briefing, calling it a “clarion call” for change. “We don’t just need a recovery, we need a transformation,” he said. It was not immediately clear whether the task force would be given a budget — or whether McCray would draw a salary.

The city’s black and Latin communities are particularly hard-hit by the coronavirus pandemic, statistics released by City Hall show. He also insisted that the city would not rush to reopen, saying he was “worried” for other states moving too quickly. As well as “running a risk is endangering their own people,” they also risked it “backfiring” and having prolonged lockdowns once the contagion reasserts itself, he said. “We won’t let that happen here,” he stressed, refusing to be drawn on an exact timescale of the lockdown getting lifted. “There is in my mind also no question that New York City will come back strong — stronger than ever. This is what New York City does this is who we are,” he insisted.

Fact Check: Hospitals Get Paid More For Listing Patients As Having COVID-19 Even If They Show Few Symptoms

A Minnesota state senator, who also happens to be a doctor, has come forward to reveal how hospitals are getting more in funding if they list more patients as having COVID-19, even if the patients are more likely to have something else, such as pneumonia. The issue is the loose definitions of the terms “probable” and “presumed” and how those terms can be applied. This is less on the doctors themselves and more on the health care administrators.

Even the leftist media is confirming this is true, as USA Today reports:

Sen. Scott Jensen, R-Minn., a physician in Minnesota, was interviewed by “The Ingraham Angle” host Laura Ingraham on April 8 on Fox News and claimed hospitals get paid more if Medicare patients are listed as having COVID-19 and get three times as much money if they need a ventilator.

Mikovits: I took a job at the National Cancer Institute. I was under the direction of Frank Ruscetti. I isolated HIV from blood and saliva confirming Dr. Luc Montagnier’s earlier isolation and description of HIV as a possible causative agent of AIDS. I refused to do that because it’s unethical.

Appropriating her work wasn’t the worst of it. This delayed the development of testing and spread the HIV epidemic through the world, killing millions.

Mikovits: In 2006 I co-founded and developed the first neuroimmune disease institute to study the cause and treatments of chronic fatigue syndrome.

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome became epidemic in the 1980s. Doctors dismissed the ailment as psychosomatic “yuppie flu.” CFS primarily struck women. The medical community assumed they were physically and emotionally fragile and cracked under the pressure of corporate jobs.

Dr. Mikovits discovered that 67% of women affected with CFS carried a mouse virus–called XMRV– Xenotropic Murine Leukemia related Virus–that appeared in healthy women only 4% of the time. XMRV is also associated with cancers like prostate, breast, ovarian, leukemia, and multiple myeloma. Many women with XMRV go on to have children with autism.

In 2009, Drs. Mikovits and Ruscetti published their explosive findings in the journal Science. But the question remained: how was XMRV getting into people?

Mikovits: Then in 2011, our research strongly suggested that it entered the human virome through a contaminated blood supply and vaccines.

Other researchers linked the first CFS outbreak to a polio vaccine given to doctors and nurses that resulted in the “1934 Los Angeles County Hospital Epidemic.” That vaccine was cultivated on pulverized mouse brains. Q, and anons. Just saw something super strange over Madison WI. A straight line of 38 lights in the sky heading SW then 1 more a few mins later. Then another wane of lights in a straight line, heading on the exact same course. It was like a train of lights in the sky, and it was witnessed by myself and 3 others. My phones camera couldn't pick them up for a photo. And oddly, even though we are practicly cloudless tonight, they all became visable in the same spot, and likewise dissapeared in the same spot further down their trajectory. Some of the lights were slightly staggered, but same course and speed as the others. No number on the 2nd wave. Lastly, to the 2nd wave had 2 lights side by side for the last two lights. Anybody else ever seen anything like this? The two other strangers passing by us that saw it were a lil freaked out. And no, we are not under the influence of anything. We were actually out for a bike ride, and the other 2 guys were cyclists that I stopped and pointed out the lights. Freaky stuff.
