William Kristol & Neocons Are Not Conservatives

"

COMMENT: Marty; you are right. William Kristol is a very dangerous neocon who is only intent on wasting American lives to defend Israel in the Middle East. He has become not conservative but ruthlessly a warmonger. He put out an open letter against Trump because he wanted to pull troops out of the Middle East. I went to a Trump rally to listen to him first hand. I must say that my opinion of him was changed to a respectful supporter.

He said the border between Turkey and Syria has been in dispute for 1,000 years and these people have been fighting without end and we have no business there trying to win a war that was unwinnable. He said when he came to office a general said he needed more troops in the Middle East and Trump said he fired him. I was impressed.

Just my change of mind when I took the time to listen to him without the media spin.

All the best

REPLY: William Kristol’s magazine shut down. Kristol’s conservative magazine that was against Trump did so because he was a neocon who wanted to spill American blood to alter the Middle East to protect Israel in a way that could never be accomplished. He wrote the book to justify the Iraq War. I knew Kristol personally. I found him arrogant and unwilling to change his position. What he called “conservativism” was extreme right-wing dominate the world stuff.

I have stated that the neocons will support the Democrats who are no means economically conservative provided they will support invading the Middle East and spilling American blood for his theory. His open letter stated:

“The Republican party allowed Donald Trump to capture it in 2016. This has been, I trust you agree, very bad for our country. As for the party, I’m not sure we’ll ever get it back on path to a decent and healthy American conservatism. It would be bad if Democrats went down a parallel path. America deserves better than a choice between an authoritarian populist of the right and a socialist populist of the left.”

Kristol is by no means an economic conservative. He will accept anyone who will invade the Middle East. His magazine shut down because he is so focused on invading the Middle East and has no respect for American soldiers or the economy. His magazine, which was once influential, shut down because of this extremist neocon view. He has been against Trump solely because of his pulling back troops from the Middle East.

Kristol is by no means an economic conservative. He is only interested in invading Arab countries for Israel. Kristol has openly said he is voting for Joe Biden. He knows Trump is against war and the Democrats will always engage in war if the price is right. Obama was given the peace prize for just being the first Black President. He then advocated invading Syria and numerous military actions. Obama was trying to carry out the agenda of the neocons.

Watchdog subpoenas Google for Hillary Clinton emails

A conservative watchdog group served a court-authorized subpoena on Google to compel the company to hand over all the emails from a Google account which may contain thousands of Hillary Clinton’s emails. Judicial Watch, a conservative-leaning D.C.-based watchdog group, announced this week that it had served a subpoena against the Silicon Valley tech firm as part of its Freedom of Information Act court battle seeking all of Clinton’s emails from her time as secretary of state, including the tens of thousands that were deleted from her private email server.

The group is specifically honing in on a Google email account belonging to Paul Combetta, the Platte River Networks information tech specialist who set and managed Clinton’s email server and used BleachBit to help permanently delete Clinton’s digital records. There is evidence to suggest that Combetta was automatically copying and forwarding emails from Clinton’s private email server to a Google cache on another server. The subpoena from Judicial Watch seeks every Clinton email from her time at the State Department from January 2009 until February 2013, and asked Google to hand the records over by May 13. During a D.C. federal court hearing in August, U.S. District Court Judge Royce Lamberth noted the Google cache “does not appear to have ever been reconstructed and searched” and suggested Judicial Watch “ought to shake this tree.” And in March, Lamberth authorized the Google subpoena. “The subpoena seeks to discover new emails, so it certainly relates to whether [the] State [Department] conducted an adequate search,” Lamberth said. “The Court is not confident that State currently possesses every Clinton email recovered by the FBI; even years after the FBI investigation, the slow trickle of new emails has yet to be explained. For this reason, the Court believes the subpoena would be worthwhile and may even uncover additional previously undisclosed emails. Accordingly, the Court GRANTS this request.”

Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton said “a federal court, tired of the State and Justice Departments’ gamesmanship, authorized Judicial Watch’s subpoena to Google to follow a lead on the Clinton emails.” The Washington Examiner has reached out to Google for comment. The subpoena asked for “any and all Clinton emails, including metadata, sent or forwarded to or from or saved, stored, archive, or contained in the Gmail account associated with” CarterHeavyIndustries[at]gmail[dot]com, the email account set up by Combetta. Combetta previously told the FBI he created a "dummy" email account to transfer archived emails into a mailbox entitled "HRC archive" on another server. The existence of that “dummy” email account was revealed in DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report on the Clinton email investigation, dubbed Midyear Exam, which he released in June 2018. Cambetta, who used software designed to prevent forensic recovery while deleting Clinton’s emails, “refused to speak” with the DOJ inspector general or Congress.

Fuck it. I dunno what else to contribute, so here's a coronavirus dump.

>In November of 2015, a University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill gain-of-function study, headed by Ralph Baric, created a chimera using surface proteins from the SHC014 coronavirus and the backbone of a virus that causes SARS symptoms in mice. It was found that this manmade virus could infect human airways.

CDC lab contamination reportedly delayed coronavirus test rollout

The Dept. of Health and Human Services is investigating the protocol breakdown

Scientists at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention who were working to roll out a critical coronavirus detection test were delayed in doing so due to a reported contamination in an on-site laboratory, a mistake that is now being investigated by the federal Department of Health and Human Services. The Food and Drug Administration this week said that scientists with the CDC had failed to adhere to containment standards while developing the test, exposing the kits to contamination and setting the rollout of the test back as much as a month. The organization "made its test in one of its laboratories, rather than in its manufacturing facilities," against its own protocol, the FDA said.

The revelation comes at a time when politicians and administration critics have accused the federal government of falling seriously behind in the number of tests it should be conducting. The U.S. has performed the highest total number of coronavirus tests in the world, though by population numbers it has lagged behind countries such as Belgium, Spain and Germany. The CDC on Friday acknowledged that its quality control procedures "were not sufficient" when scientists were developing the tests and said that it was ramping up those standards moving forward.

In a different direction though, There is a restaurant in NY called "One if by Land, Two if by Sea" on 17 Barrow Street complete with underground tunnel to Hudson.

The carriage house with accompanying barn, now known as One if by Land, Two if by Sea, has had a long and complex history tied to one of the most controversial figures in early American history. When Aaron Burr was Attorney General of the State of New York during the 1790’s he housed his coach and horses in the carriage house at 17 Barrow Street.

Burr went on to become a powerful member of local and federal government making many enemies along the way – particularly Alexander Hamilton. Their disputes eventually made it into print when some comments made by Hamilton were published in an Albany newspaper, which quoted Hamilton as saying that Burr was “a dangerous man . . . who ought not to be trusted with the reins of government.” Aaron Burr was infuriated when he read Hamilton’s published comments, which came to his attention shortly after he lost the election for governor of New York. He believed that Hamilton’s unrelenting insults to his character had cost him the governorship, effectively ending his political career.

On July 11, 1804 Burr met Hamilton in a duel on a grassy field in Weehawken, New Jersey. There were serious consequences to this history-making duel. Not only did the event end in the death of General Alexander Hamilton, a Revolutionary War hero and the first American Secretary of the Treasury, but led to the downfall of the politically powerful Aaron Burr, then Vice President of the United States. He also lost most of his New York property, including the carriage house 17 Barrow Street.

There is a lingering mystery about this building involving a tunnel cut in a straight line from Hudson Street, formerly the shore of the river. It is barrel-vaulted and has the look of similar passageways of 18th century military construction. It is entirely stone-lined, brickroofed and appears to be of the very same brick and stone as the carriage house and barn. Was the tunnel built to smuggle contraband from the shore? Was the tunnel used during the Revolutionary War? The tunnel was almost certainly used later by the “underground railway” for fugitive slaves to get to the carriage house as one stop on the road to Canada and freedom. But who built them? Barrow Street remained a mews, with carriage houses on both sides of the street, vegetable carts and stalls between the carriage house doors, and hogs freely patrolling the garbage.

A Fire House was eventually built next door and the carriage house had a new life as a stable and engine house. The rooms above now housed firemen, not liveried servants. At this time vegetable carts were banned from the street by city ordinance, so as not to block the fire engines. The hogs were banned shortly after that for health reasons during the cholera pandemics. In the late 1890’s the city authorities sold the carriage house at 17 Barrow Street. The new owner very quietly turned it into a house of ill-repute, somewhat out of-the-way and more discreet than those in the “Tenderloin District” above Madison Square.

Later, about 1910, the property became a silent movie house. As the twentieth century progressed, 17 Barrow Street became a bar, a restaurant, a bar again, and then another restaurant. In 1970 it was purchased by its current owners. They spent the next several years restoring the carriage house finding numerous bits and pieces of earlier life in New York including old coins, hand-made horseshoes and antique bottles dating to the early 1800’s. An original hitching post was uncovered, which is still visible in the present bar area.

Finally, with the restoration complete, the building was transformed into its present life as One if by Land, Two if by Sea. The carriage house now exhibits its rich history and the charming architecture of a refined age.

GOP Rep. Matt Gaetz may have violated House rules by shelling out $184,000 in taxpayer funds to rent office space from a longtime friend and donor

Florida GOP Rep. Matt Gaetz spent almost $200,000 in taxpayer funds to rent office space from a longtime friend and campaign donor, Politico reported.

Gaetz and the donor, Collier Merrill, have reportedly known each other for decades, and Merrill is also an adviser and legal client of Gaetz's.

Their rental agreement appears to be against House rules.

The guidelines state that leases for district offices must be "at fair market value as the result of a bona fide, arms-length, marketplace transaction. The Lessor and Lessee certify that the parties are not relatives nor have had, or continue to have, a professional or legal relationship (except as a landlord and tenant)."

Gaetz made headlines last month when he called for North Carolina Sen. Richard Burr's resignation over an ethical controversy.

Now the corrupt Queensland Australia government is bailing out Virgin Airlines to the tune of $200 million.

Even though the airline is almost wholly owned by foreigners, with a very large stake owned by China.

So who are they bailing out exactly? Not the people of Australia. If Australians are going to pay to bail out an airline, why don't Australians just buy said airline and own it.

WORLD EXCLUSIVE: Epstein bottom girl Ghislane Maxwell is HIDING OUT in France to avoid FBI charges

JEFFERY Epstein’s ‘bottom girl’ Ghislane Maxwell is hiding out in her family’s former home in France to avoid extradition to the United States, Politicalite can exclusively reveal.

French citizen Maxwell chose to hide out in France as the country does not extradite their own citizens to any country. Ghislane was born by her aunt Yvonne in Maisons-Lafitte.

Maxwell had not been seen except for a sighting at an ‘In N Out’ burger joint in LA a week after Epstein ‘killed himself’ in July 2019.

Cyclotronic resonance refers to the ability to resonate or "spin" small particles within a given resonance frequency.  Military doctrine for nonlethal weapons in this area is as follows.

Initially enemy armies or populations can be exposed to (sprayed with) a very small amount of chemical or biological agent.

The quantity of chemical or biological agent used may be so small as to be virtually undetectable. Following exposure the enemy population may be targeted with microwave or radio frequency radiation in the exact resonance frequency of the chemical or biological agent used.  The toxic agent will begin to resonate or spin and will react with much greater speed or activity within the bodies of the target population, similar to the behavior of enzymes that make life possible.

This greater reactivity may be millions of times greater than normal and would behave as if the person had been given a massive dose of chemical or biological agent ... enough in fact to cause death. Cyclotronic resonance of chemical and biological agents allows entire armies or populations to be destroyed with only minute amounts of the agent in their bodies if they were attacked with "nonlethal" microwave weapons afterwards.  It will be impossible to develop and deploy such a weapon without first testing it on human beings.  These tests are actually being done on American citizens in their own homes.

In Sacramento, California citizens are being targeted in such a manner.  Their house is bombarded with microwave energy and they are being purposefully exposed to a chemical or biological agent in order to perfect this weapons technology.  This is just one aspect of the nonlethal weapons testing that is done on several thousand people across the country.

Lately multiple matching UFO reports have been popping up on the internet, coming from southern cal and Las Vegas. One comes straight from popular douche lord Logan Paul in Las Angeles.

While I’m not against the idea of aliens, it’s very hard for me to think this is simply alien activity in a time like this. America was just sent a biological weapon, this is an act of war.

We are at war. All assets will be deployed. I can only imagine what kind of crafts we are about to send out.

We are bound to see our sky’s buzzing with all sorts of strange tech. Sky dominance is key in all conflicts. To see it in California, is not surprising. Charlie everywhere out California-Way.

Charlie Kirk calls on Students for Trump members to launch

'peaceful rebellion against governors' over stay-at-home

orders

Students for Trump is calling on its young members to join the

protest efforts.

By Will Steakin

April 18, 2020, 9:42 PM

"As protests against stay-at-home orders due to novel coronavirus break out around the country, Students for Trump, one of the main political groups backing President Donald Trump's reelection, is calling on its young members to join the efforts.

During a virtual convention on Friday for Students for Trump, the college campus arm of Turning Point USA, the group's founder Charlie Kirk urged members to launch a "peaceful rebellion against governors" in states like Michigan and Wisconsin.

Kirk, speaking to over 500 members of the conservative nonprofit organization geared at activating college students to reelect the president who tuned in to the event, derided governors like Michigan's Gretchen Whitmer for encroaching on their rights and urged them to join the protests around the country. The event was hosted on Zoom."

Trump Suggests China May Be ‘Knowingly Responsible’

for Virus

By Mario Parker

April 18, 2020, 7:10 PM EDT

"President Donald Trump raised the prospect that China deliberately caused the Covid-19 outbreak that’s killed over 38,000 Americans and said there should be consequences if the country is found to be “knowingly responsible.”

“Let’s see what happens with their investigation. But we’re doing investigations also,” Trump said at a White House news conference on Saturday. “If it was a mistake, a mistake is a mistake. But if they were knowingly responsible, yeah, then there should be consequences.”

As scrutiny of Trump’s response to the outbreak has intensified, congressional Republicans have sought to blame China for the coronavirus outbreak, which emerged from the country’s Hubei province in late 2019."

Lexington and Concord - Where the Rubber Meets the Road

The New York Time’s controversial “1619 Project” and the historians’ war it sparked illustrate how this country’s founding - the American Revolution - is the cornerstone of our collective understanding of this country’s present. The “1619 Project” gives readers a race-themed narrative of the Revolution in an effort to help them see racism as pervasive in American life today. Such efforts to enlist the Revolution for a cause are not new - attempts to shape public opinion and public policy in the present often begin with a retelling of the country’s birth.

When, in 1861, Jefferson Davis and Abraham Lincoln delivered their inaugural speeches - Davis as president of the Confederate States of America, Lincoln as president of the United States of America - both included a narration of the Revolution. Davis’ history lesson supported his claim that secession was peaceful and constitutional, that Northerners should accept it as such, and that the upper South should feel free to follow the lower South into secession. Lincoln’s history lesson supported his own claim that secession was unlawful and insurrectionary, that Americans in the North and upper South should reject it as such, and that the deep South should return to the Union. During that deadly war, both sides continued to retell Southern and Northern audiences about the Revolution, connecting the cause of the Civil War to the cause of the Revolution. These were efforts to inspire Americans to recommit themselves to the spirit of 1776, endure the hardships of war, and sacrifice more for victory. Most famously, Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address began with a particular framing of the Revolution and ended with a challenge to his generation of Americans to vindicate - with military victory - what his history lesson asserted as the core cause of the Revolutionary generation.

LOCKDOWN MASTERPLAN Scientists draw up top-secret

‘traffic light’ system to ease Britain out of lockdown

David Wooding, Sunday Political Editor

18 Apr 2020, 23:59

Updated: 19 Apr 2020, 9:27

"Ministers have refused to discuss publicly when and how they aim to end the £2.5billion-a-day lockdown, entering its fourth week on Monday.

They fear doing so would send out the message that the crisis is over and wreck all the hard-won gains. But they are privately considering slowly easing off the brake.

In the “red” phase, people will still be banned from many things they did before the outbreak, but a number of non-essential shops and businesses would re-open.

On “amber”, caution would still be required despite much more economic activity being unlocked."

Are US Businesses Ready to Reopen as Coronavirus Still

Looms

Voice of America

19 Apr 2020, 16:05 GMT+10

"WASHINGTON - The White House has announced a three-phase plan for restarting the U.S. economy, but experts said the continuing lack of vital public health tools to fight COVID-19 mean it's risky to even move to phase one.

Lack of capacity to test for the coronavirus and a lack of staff to trace people who may be infected mean the United States may not be ready to reopen without risking major blowback, experts said.

"There is a distinct risk that we will just bump straight back up and we'll see a brisk increase in the number of infections," said John Lynch III, a University of Washington infectious diseases professor and a board member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America.

Starting with California on March 19, governors began issuing orders closing businesses, canceling events and urging people to stay home.

The toll on the U.S. economy has been devastating. More than 20 million people have filed for unemployment benefits. With political pressure building to get people back to work, the Trump administration Thursday issued guidelines for lifting social distancing requirements.

Under the new guidelines, states showing a "downward trajectory" of cases over 14 days can move into the first phase, which includes reopening large venues such as movie theaters, sports stadiums and religious institutions "under strict physical distancing protocols." Employers can bring workers back "in phases." Restrictions ease further in phases two and three.

Loosening restrictions depends on having a "robust testing program" for health care workers and screening for people with possible symptoms of COVID-19. It also calls for specialized sites to be screening asymptomatic people for the virus that causes the disease."

Michigan Governor Caves to Pressure and Protest, Says

She’ll Reopen State May 1st

"Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer said on Friday she is hopeful the state can begin to reengage parts of its economy beginning on May 1, days after facing a barrage of criticism for her strict measures to combat the new coronavirus.

Later on Friday, President Donald Trump, who has traded jabs with Whitmer over the state’s handling of the outbreak, tweeted: “Liberate Michigan,” along with similar tweets naming other states with Democratic governors.

Trump did not mention Ohio, whose Republican governor has set a similar target for economic reopening. The chair of the Republican National Committee, Ronna McDaniel, has criticized Whitmer, saying she was turning Michigan into a “police state”."

Huawei Faces Mounting Opposition in UK as Distrust in

Beijing Grows

BY CATHY HE

April 19, 2020 Updated: April 19, 2020 Print

Voices are growing within UK’s ruling party to block Chinese telecom giant Huawei from helping to build the country’s 5G network, as the government signals a tougher stance towards Beijing over its handling of the CCP virus pandemic.

The UK government in January granted Huawei a role in building non-sensitive parts of its next-generation wireless network, and capped its involvement at 35 percent. But since then, mounting opposition from within the ruling Conservative Party has raised doubts that the measure can raise enough votes to pass through parliament, Bloomberg reported. A bill formalizing January’s decision is expected to be introduced in the coming months.

The campaign against Huawei comes amid wider calls within the Tory Party for a reset of relations with China’s communist regime over its role in covering up the COVID-19 outbreak, which fueled the global spread of the virus."

China needs to be accountable about coronavirus spread

Pompeo

ANI

19 Apr 2020, 13:57 GMT+10

"Washington [US], April 19 (ANI): Accusing China of hiding facts regarding coronavirus, US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo on Saturday said President Xi Jinping led government needs to be accountable and should tell how COVID-19 spread rapidly around the world.

Speaking to Fox News, Pompeo said, "We really need the Chinese government to open up. They say they want to cooperate. One of the best ways they could find to cooperate would be to let the world in, to let the world scientists know exactly how this came to being and exactly how this virus began to spread.""The leadership there knew about the virus before they took the public writ large. That's dangerous. A lot of cases, a lot of movement, a lot of travel around the world before the Chinese Communist Party came about what really transpired there. These are the kind of things that open government democracies don't do. It's why there is such risk associated with the absence of transparency," he added."

‘Who believes these numbers?’ Trump claims China MUST

be hiding its true Covid-19 death toll, because ‘everybody

knows it’

18 Apr, 2020 21:47 / Updated 1 hour ago

"President Donald Trump opened up his daily Covid-19 task force press conference by blasting the media for reporting official data that makes the US look bad, instead of pursuing allegations of a Chinese conspiracy.

“When the fake news gets out there and they start talking about the United States is number one... China’s number one by a lot. It’s not even close. They’re way ahead of us in terms of death,” Trump said just minutes into his daily briefing.

China could not have possibly done better than the “highly developed healthcare delivery systems of the United Kingdom, in France in Belgium, in Italy, in Spain, with extraordinary doctors and nurses and equipment,” argued White House Coronavirus Task Force response coordinator Deborah Birx, who was trying to back Trump’s statements with a chart of death rates per capita around the world.

“Who believes these numbers?” Trump interrupted, pointing at China and Iran, and arguing that "we saw more [body] bags on television than that.""

Conspiracies Are Thriving on Anti-Lockdown Protest

Facebook Pages

By Jordan Pearson

18 April 2020, 10:23pm

"Update: Immediately after this story's publication, Facebook removed the "American Revolution 2.0" page. Many other similar pages and groups remain.

In the face of lockdowns, business closures, and shelter-in-place orders designed to slow the spread of Covid-19 and save lives, some Americans are protesting for their right to spread a deadly virus in order to keep the economy moving.

These protests—in Michigan and Idaho this week, with more planned in the coming weeks—are being led by a mix of rightwing non-profits and far-right groups as well as conspiracy theorists, so it's not surprising that many protests are being organized on Facebook. These movements also got tacit endorsement from President Trump Friday, who tweeted that states under lockdown are "under siege" and should "LIBERATE" themselves. Now, misinformation and conspiracy theories about the virus are thriving in the groups and pages where protests are being organized and promoted on the social network.

In the 5,580 member strong private Facebook group "Reopen Illinois: American Revolution 2.0," numerous posts contain misinformation and conspiracies.

One recent post features an image with the text: "The whole virus is a joke. Government control, h1n1 was worse." Another echoes the conspiracy theory that death tolls are being inflated in order to scare the public, stating, "Miraculously since Covid-19 no one dies of cancer, heart attacks, drug overdose, suicice, car accidents etc. anymore," adding the monocle and chin-scratching emojis. Another post declares, "they are lying to us to keep us locked up.""

The American Revolutionary War began on April 19, 1775, with a battle between British soldiers and American revolutionaries at Concord and Lexington in Massachusetts. The first shot of the war - the so-called "shot heard 'round the world" is not actually known to history. The term comes from a poem, "Concord Hymn", by Ralph Waldo Emerson:

"By the rude bridge that arched the flood,

Their flag to April’s breeze unfurled,

Here once the embattled farmers stood,

And fired the shot heard round the world."

The bridge in question is North Bridge, in Concord, where it is established that the first shots by American soldiers acting under orders were taken, as well as the first British fatalities and retreat.

The war would end eight years later with the independence of a new country born of the Thirteen Colonies - the United States of America.

Dr Deborah Birx attacks China over coronavirus during

Trump briefing

‘When you are the first country to have an outbreak you have

a moral obligation to the world,’ says top immunologist

Vincent Wood @wood_vincent

"The coordinator of America’s coronavirus response has hit out at China for a lack of transparency in the early stages of the pandemic, while calling Beijing’s reported mortality rate “unrealistic”.

China was the first to be impacted by Covid-19 in November last year, leading to a mass shutdown of daily life and a vast medical response including the building of new hospitals and the drafting in of medical personnel from outside the epicentre of Wuhan, in Hubei province.

However, Dr Deborah Birx, who made her name as an immunologist in the fight against HIV, has said the true horrors of the disease were not explained to the US by China but by countries in Europe like France and Italy, in a forthright intervention that chimed with her boss’s rhetoric on how Beijing has handled coronavirus."

Director of Wuhan Laboratory Denies Coronavirus Link: Calls Allegations ‘Malicious, Impossible’

ncreasing claims a maximum security laboratory in China’s coronavirus ground-zero city of Wuhan is the source of the deadly global pandemic were rejected outright Saturday by the institute’s director.

Yuan Zhiming, vice director of the Wuhan Institute of Virology, called the accusations a “conspiracy theory” in an interview with Chinese state broadcaster CGTN Saturday.

“As people who carry out viral study, we clearly know what kind of research is going on in the institute and how the institute manages viruses and samples. As we said early on, there is no way this virus came from us,” said Yuan, a microbiology and biotechnology expert.

“We have a strict regulatory regime and code of conduct of research, so we are confident.”

Beijing has come under increasing pressure over the lack of transparency in its handling of the pandemic, with the U.S. leading calls for an open and honest investigation into the matter.

Sen. Graham blasts Pelosi: 'She hates Trump to the point

"House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's criticism of President Trump over his halting of funding to the World Health Organization goes beyond just a personal attack, U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., said Saturday night.

"So her issue is she hates Trump to the point of hurting our own nation," Graham said on Fox News' "Justice with Judge Jeanine."

"She is condemning President Trump for cutting funds off of the WHO because they've been in China's pocket, as she at one time mentioned, the fact the virus came out of China, that the Chinese Communist Party lied to the American people and the world at large."

Pelosi blasted Trump’s decision to freeze funding for the WHO, vowing Wednesday to “swiftly” challenge the action amid the coronavirus crisis. In a statement, Pelosi, D-Calif., said the halt in funding amid the global pandemic was “senseless.”"

Record government and corporate debt risks ‘tipping point’

after pandemic passes

David Lynch 6 hrs ago

"The federal government is on its way this year to spending nearly $4 trillion more than it collects in revenue, analysts say, a budget deficit roughly twice as large relative to the economy as in any year since 1945.

Business borrowing also is setting records. Giant corporations such as ExxonMobil and Walgreens, which binged on debt over the past decade, now are exhausting their credit lines and tapping bondholders for even more cash.

To support such borrowing, the Federal Reserve has dropped interest rates to zero and added more than $2 trillion of loans to its portfolio in the past six weeks — as much as in the four years following the Great Recession.

All this borrowing is required to plug the gaping hole the novel coronavirus has punched in the economy, as unemployment reaches levels not seen since the Great Depression. Few, if any, prominent economists or lawmakers opposed opening the government’s fiscal taps amid the current economic emergency. The Senate last month approved $2 trillion of crisis spending with a vote of 96 to 0. "

This is how UK media covers Britain’s Covid-19 response

& that is how it covers Russia’s (is this FAIR journalism?)

Graham Dockery

18 Apr, 2020 19:45

"You’d think humanity is facing a common enemy in the Covid-19 pandemic. For the UK media, the enemy is clear – it’s the Russians, whose pandemic measures are tyrannical and ineffective, even when they’re the same as Britain’s.

With global coronavirus cases nearing 2.3 million and deaths passing 157,000, government responses to the pandemic have been evaluated by the world’s press. However, not every government has been judged equally, and when we look at how the British media treats Russia’s response, the tone is laughably biased.

Lockdown: Russians under Putin’s thumb, Brits embrace ‘community spirit’

Late last month, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered his country’s 147 million citizens to “stay at home and not travel.” Putin’s directive fell short of a full lockdown, however, and stricter orders have since been applied on a regional basis, with Moscow’s among the harshest.

Needless to say, the UK press saw totalitarianism on the horizon, with the BBC accusing Putin of “using the pandemic to tighten control.” The British Broadcaster reported that the lockdown measures have left ordinary Russians “confused and wary.”

Not in Britain! When Prime Minister Boris Johnson imposed a legally binding lockdown in late March, the only criticism leveled at the PM was that the draconian measures may have come too late. ‘Please tread on us!’ the press demanded. Though emergency legislation passed since then grants healthcare workers the power to detain “potentially infectious persons” for as long as they see fit, and though police officers across the country have eagerly played the petty tyrant, the British people are quite happy with the ‘new normal’, or so the story goes.

Amid a crackdown on everything from dog walking to sunbathing, “community spirit is making a comeback,” the Telegraph reported on Thursday. British columnists cheered on the resurgence of the “blitz spirit,” and the media reported that the public would be completely happy living under lockdown until July. Nothing to see here, citizen!"

Halt on military moves to last through June 30

A new directive on the movement of military personnel and their families will bar travel through June 30, but create more flexibility to allow for the deployment of troops serving overseas and some priority troops to change duty stations, a Pentagon official said Saturday.

Defense Secretary Mark Esper has yet to issue the order, which aims to curb the spread of the coronavirus by keeping service members and their families in place, according to Matthew Donovan, undersecretary of defense for personnel and readiness. However, Esper is expected to sign it into effect Monday, Donovan said.

The new order will replace the travel restrictions put into place in March that have stopped thousands of military moves and forced some deployed units to remain overseas longer than anticipated.

Team Trump Debated How to Weaponize Biden Assault

Allegation

As the president quietly monitors how the Biden allegation is

are now playing defense.

"As the primary winds down and former Vice President Joe Biden, the party’s presumptive nominee, pivots to the general election, a claim that he sexually assaulted a former staffer in the early 1990s is already popping up on the virtual campaign trail from Democrats and Republicans alike.

Biden’s pledge to select a female running mate to round out the Democratic ticket has recently put several of the top women thought to be considered for that role in a tough spot: how to respond to the decades-old allegation against him by Tara Reade.

In President Donald Trump’s vast network, the Reade assault allegation had already piqued the interest of some of the president’s top operatives, as well as the president himself. For weeks, the claim has been the subject of a quiet deliberation within the 2020 Trump campaign and the broader Trump re-election project about how much, and how aggressively, to promote the accuser and her story, according to three sources with knowledge of the various deliberations."
