Fifteen HUGE YouTube Creators File Federal Lawsuit Against YouTube for Violating First Amendment

Fifteen popular YouTube creators have filed a federal lawsuit against YouTube and Google for violating their first amendment rights.

According to the lawsuit, Google and YouTube breached the Terms of Service those creators had agreed to when they signed on and violated their First Amendment rights.

Petersantilli.com reports: According to the press release the Plaintiffs are these popular creators of YouTube channels, with collectively lay claim to over 800 million views: JustInformed Talk, SGT Report, X22 Report, SpaceShot 76, TruReporting, RedPill78, Edge of Wonder, Praying Medic, Amazing Polly, Woke Societies, Daniel Lee, Deception Byes, InTheMatrixxx, Destroying the Illusion, and Sarah Westall.

The Plaintiffs are represented by attorneys M. Cris Armenta and Credence Sol. Both are former federal law clerks; Ms. Armenta in the Central District of California, and Ms. Sol in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. Armenta has been named one of the top 100 female attorneys in California and is on the peer‐reviewed SuperLawyers list for civil litigation who fully expect YouTube and Google defend the case and claim that Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act provides them immunity for the actions taken against conservative YouTube commentators and content creators.

The lawsuit also alleges that YouTube acted at the behest, was encouraged by and coerced by Congress, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, and Representative Adam Schiff who published a complaint on Congressional letterhead that urged content be removed and replaced. The press release goes further to explain: The Plaintiffs allege that under Supreme Court precedent, if a private party acts when it is encouraged or coerced by the government or its agents, then the state action theory applies and the First Amendment rights should be protected, particularly from viewpoint discrimination. Since Adam Schiff, a sitting representative, personally and publicly in his official capacity asked for social media platforms to begin censoring conservative content providers and YouTube thereafter responded and complied to that request, the door was opened for this lawsuit.

The Plaintiffs expect that they will either receive or be denied an emergency injunction, or a restraining order upon Youtube, requiring that their accounts be reinstated. If the lawsuit proceeds as expected, it is anticipated that the legal issues raised in the complaint may finally settle the issues relating to Big Tech’s immunity from lawsuits under the protection of Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act.

The implications are immense, and the public deserves to be well informed on the progress of this landmark case.

Reiner has devoted considerable time and energy to liberal activism. His lobbying as an anti-smoking advocate, in particular, prompted his likeness to be used in a satirical role in a South Park episode titled "Butt Out".[citation needed]

He is also active in environmental issues, and he successfully led the effort to establish California's Ahmanson Ranch as a state park and wildlife refuge rather than as a commercial real estate development. He introduced Spinal Tap at the London Live Earth concert in July 2007.

Reiner was mentioned as a possible candidate to run against California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2006 but decided not to run for personal reasons. He endorsed Hillary Clinton for president for the 2008 election. Huntington Beach city manager hit with misconduct allegations in latest City Hall turmoil

Accusations of cyber spying and sexual harassment have been leveled against Huntington Beach City Manager Oliver Chi, rocking an already chaotic City Hall in the final throes of a divisive election campaign.

Documents obtained by the Southern California News Group indicate Chi allegedly ordered a subordinate to secretly search the emails of elected City Attorney Michael Gates. Chi also is accused of repeatedly and without invitation hugging his former executive assistant.

Both employees claim Chi retaliated against them when they complained.

Chi, who took the helm of city administration in Surf City more than a year ago, denied any wrongdoing, saying in an interview that political opponents are trying to sabotage him.

“At times, employment conflicts do arise and individuals are free to make complaints,” Chi said. “I categorically deny that I or the city engaged in any illegal behavior.”

The turbulence at City Hall comes at a time when Huntington Beach has lost two police chiefs in little more than a week and is undergoing an acrimonious City Council campaign leading up to the Nov. 3 election. The chaos hit a crescendo recently when a controversial attack ad portrayed three council candidates as radicals who would bring looting and lawlessness to Huntington Beach.

Amid the fighting, the accusations emerged against Chi.

In a Sept. 29 letter obtained through the California Public Records Act, the city’s chief information officer, Behzad Zamanian, said Chi ordered him on Sept. 11 to search Gates’ emails using backups. The letter was written by Zamanian’s attorney and addressed to Gates.

“The search ordered by Mr. Chi was an extremely invasive search that would require Mr. Zamanian to open up all of (Gates’) emails,” said the letter from attorney Daniel Rashtian.

Zamanian refused, and reported Chi’s conduct to Travis Hopkins, Huntington Beach’s assistant city manager/head of human resources, the letter said. Chi and Hopkins allegedly responded by trying to force Zamanian, a 17-year employee, to resign.

The letter said Zamanian was berated by Chi and presented with a settlement agreement offering to place him on paid leave for a month, after which his resignation would become effective. In exchange, Zamanian would recant any accusations against Chi and the city, the letter said.

Although Zamanian refused to resign, Chi announced his departure and treated him as though he was leaving, according to the document. Zamanian’s attorney says his client intends to file a formal claim, a precursor to a whistleblower lawsuit, which also would allege age discrimination.

“The conduct against Mr. Zamanian has caused serious health issues for Mr. Zamanian that are potentially life-threatening and could cause permanent disabilities,” the letter said. “But Mr. Hopkins continues to contact Mr. Zamanian in order to push him to sign the invalid contract he was provided.”

… Chi, who previously served as the top administrator in Monrovia since 2014. was hired by the Huntington Beach City Council in August 2019 and took the reigns the following September. Chi was chosen from 90 candidates to lead Huntington Beach, with a starting salary of $240,000.

He raised eyebrows in April by shepherding a three-year, $5 million pay raise mostly for Huntington Beach police officers while the city was beginning to experience a financial hit from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Billionaire Mike Bloomberg drops $2.6 million in Texas Railroad Commission race

Former New York City Mayor and one-time presidential hopeful Mike Bloomberg is spending $2.6 million to help a Democrat capture a seat on the state board overseeing the oil and gas industry.

The billionaire contributed about $2.63 million to help elect Chrysta Castañeda, a Dallas engineer and lawyer hoping to win a seat on the three-member Texas Railroad Commission, which regulates oil and natural gas extraction, pipeline safety and surface coal and uranium mining.

The commission also has some say in the way Texas approaches climate change and clean energy — a campaign issue central to Castañeda’s bid to become the first Democrat to sit on the board in more than 25 years.

Bloomberg’s donation, first reported by the Texas Tribune, is a tenfold increase in her campaign contributions.

“I’m glad to support Chrysta in her campaign to be the next railroad commissioner because she has the vision and experience needed to build a safer, healthier and more environmentally prosperous future for the state of Texas,” Bloomberg said in a Monday release from Castañeda’s campaign.

The campaign said Bloomberg’s donation was part of a total of $3.7 million raised during the most recent campaign finance reporting period, which ran from Sept. 25 to Oct. 24. Candidates were required to submit their reports to the Texas Ethics Commission by the end of the day Monday.

“This campaign has been called the most important environmental race in the country, so I am grateful to be receiving such an unprecedented level of support,” Castañeda said in the release, which also touted a $500,000 donation from environmental philanthropists Richard and Dee Lawrence and $215,000 in combined contributions from the Sierra Club’s political committee and Texas PAC.

Before those big-money contributions, Castañeda had raised about $230,000 in monetary donations, with an additional $81,000 in in-kind contributions. Her opponent, Republican Jim Wright, had raised about $244,000 during the same period. His most recent filing indicates $341,000 in monetary contributions and $349,000 in in-kind donations

“Texas is not for sale to radical environmentalists and billionaires from New York and California who want to endanger our country’s economy and move energy production overseas,” Wright said in a statement Monday. “Make no mistake: We are in a war for the future of Texas, and the battleground is the Texas Railroad Commission. Texans know the value of having a strong oil and gas economy that helps provide millions of jobs for Texas citizens.”

At the end of September, he led Castañeda in cash on hand, $170,000 to $104,000, and had outspent her by nearly $300,000. Wright, who owns an oil field services company, snagged the Republican nomination from incumbent Commissioner Ryan Sitton in the March primary.

Democrats hope that upset will hand them a seat on the board for the first time since 1994.

The commission’s three members serve staggered six-year terms.

Libertarian Matt Sterett and Green Party candidate Kat Gruene are also on the ballot in the race.

Bulldozers were ready to fight California fires. Why did Forest Service turn them away?

The Loyalton Fire was two days old and starting to pick up momentum in a heavily forested area 50 miles north of Lake Tahoe. That’s when Jeff Holland offered to help.

Holland’s logging company, CTL Forest Management Inc., happened to have an array of firefighting equipment — bulldozers, water trucks, a wood-chipping machine called a masticator — parked on a property he owns in Loyalton, just west of where the fire started in mid-August. He proposed hiring out the equipment to the U.S. Forest Service, which was in charge of fighting the fire.

He was turned down.

“I had several pieces of equipment ready to go,” said Holland, who’s worked with the Forest Service for years. “They weren’t interested.”

Within a few days, the Loyalton Fire surpassed 40,000 acres and burned five homes down.

Holland said his equipment wouldn’t necessarily have stopped the fire from spreading. But he believes the incident illustrates the problems plaguing the firefighting system at the Forest Service.

In particular, Holland said he’s annoyed with a computerized program called VIPR that enables the agency to call on the private sector when help is needed on a fire. Hundreds of companies have signed up to supply the Forest Service with bulldozers to dig containment lines, water trucks to douse the flames and other equipment as needs arise.

Holland and other contractors say the Forest Service has been running the program a lot more stringently in the past year, turning what was already a complicated system into a bureaucratic mess. Bids have been getting rejected over minor paperwork issues that tended to get resolved in years past. Companies that had been working for the Forest Service for years were suddenly locked out of the system, with no ready explanation from the government.

The end result, contractors said, was the Forest Service found itself outgunned when the worst wildfire season on record exploded across California.

“The Forest Service wasn’t ready to take on a fire season like this one,” Holland said.Rusty Stanford, a Modoc County businessman who has supplied water trucks to the agency, said it appeared the Forest Service was trying to streamline the operation and work with fewer contractors. “They pretty much shot themselves in the foot,” he said.

Elected officials have begun taking notice. Last month Rep. Doug LaMalfa, R-Richvale, said shortcomings in the system — known as VIPR, for Virtual Incident Procurement — contributed to the severity of California’s wildfire season.

The agency’s “failure to fill VIPR contracts this year has led to a severe lack of equipment and fire personnel,” LaMalfa said in a statement. “That failure made the wildfire destruction in California much worse.”

LaMalfa — whose district includes the area burned by the North Complex Fire, which killed 15 people in Berry Creek — said he’s been assured that the Forest Service is working on fixing the problem. Nonetheless, when a top Forest Service official appeared at a virtual congressional hearing in late September, the congressman grilled him about contracting snafus.

“If you wanna have a state of readiness, there’s so much private equipment,” LaMalfa told John Phipps, a deputy chief at the Forest Service. “I drove past some in Siskiyou County today. There’s still about 20 water tender trucks sitting along the freeway there that are not being contracted.”

Phipps acknowledged “technical and administrative issues” with the system but promised LaMalfa the “contracting issues have pretty much subsided.”

There have been dozens of studies that prove mail-in voting is not as secure as in person voting.

Beijing has slammed Mike Pompeo's "zero-sum mindset" as US Secretary of State signs defense agreement with India as a part of five-day Asia trip, amassing support amongst regional powers in the face of growing Chinese influence.

Pompeo and Defense Secretary Mark Esper landed in New Delhi on Monday at a time when India is locked in the most significant standoff with China in decades at the Himalayan border.

Speaking before high level talks with Indian counterparts on Tuesday, Pompeo stuck to his usual rhetoric and reiterated the threat China poses to regional security.

"There is much more work to do for sure. We have a lot to discuss today: Our cooperation on the pandemic that originated in Wuhan, to confronting the Chinese Communist Party's threats to security and freedom to promoting peace and stability throughout the region," he stated.

The remarks come as Pompeo began a five-day visit to India, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, and Indonesia to drum up support against Beijing's growing influence in the region.

The US wants to enhance cooperation with the nations within China's sphere of influence and has become increasingly assertive in its aims of isolating Beijing and supporting its adversaries, most notably India and Taiwan.

Beyond the rhetoric, the US and India also signed the Basic Exchange and Cooperation Agreement (BECA) on Tuesday. The agreement will provide India with access to real-time precision data and topographical images from the US military satellites, giving India another tool in the ongoing border dispute with China.

The Secretary of State's Asia trip has not been welcomed by Beijing who lament Washington's interference in the region.

At least seven people were killed and 83 wounded in an explosion inside a seminary in northern Pakistan on Tuesday morning. Children are among the victims.

The blast took place in Peshawar, the capital of the northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Senior police official Wagar Azim told AFP that a bomb hidden in a bag was brought inside the Speen Jammat mosque – which also functions as a religious school for children – and went off in the middle of Quran studies.

A video from inside the mosque shows a teacher giving a lecture. The video feed is then suddenly interrupted as a loud bang is heard.

Local hospital officials told the media that the attack claimed at least seven lives, while 83 people were hospitalized. Five among them are said to be in critical condition.

Applebaum’s approach is emblematic of the mainstream media’s collective refusal to cover the Hunter Biden story. She spends zero time discussing the actual facts that have come to light through the reporting of the New York Post and a handful of other news outlets, and instead opens her essay with a lengthy anecdote about herself that serves as an ad hominem attack on a reporter she dislikes.

We are meant to understand that this reporter, Matthew Tyrmand, is a creep, not a real journalist, and not to be trusted. For this reason, Applebaum tells us, you can ignore the trove of emails Tyrmand got from an erstwhile business partner of Hunter Biden’s that implicates former Vice President Joe Biden in foreign influence-peddling schemes similar to those uncovered by the Post.

Joe Biden’s relationship with Colombia’s president is highlighted in an investment proposal that Hunter Biden and a group of business partners made in an investment pitch to a Chinese energy company in 2017.

Hunter Biden and his partners sought a $10 million seed investment from CEFC China Energy, a company whose chairman had close ties to the People’s Liberation Army.

The Biden consortium’s 42-page investment outline from May 15, 2017 features Joe Biden shaking hands with Colombia’s president, and proposes investments in a Colombian oil field and a pipeline from Venezuela.

In 2017, Hunter Biden and a group of business partners seeking a $10 million investment deal with a Chinese energy firm touted Joe Biden’s friendly relations with Colombia’s president in their sales proposal, which suggested a series of oil investments in the South American country, according to documents obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation.

Hunter Biden and four other businessmen, including his uncle James Biden, highlighted the former vice president’s positive relationship with Juan Manuel Santos in a May 15, 2017 investment outline for CETC China Energy, a Chinese energy conglomerate.

The Biden consortium, which would be called SinoHawk, sought a $10 million seed investment from CETC China Energy, with a goal of eventually securing billions of dollars in investments in the U.S. and around the world.

The report is part of a trove of records held by Tony Bobulinski, a California-based businessman who was part of the consortium with Hunter Biden, James Biden, and two other partners.

Bobulinski has provided the documents to a Senate committee investigating Hunter Biden’s business dealings. He said at a press conference last week that the records show that the Bidens “aggressively leveraged” their family name to secure foreign business deals.

Bobulinski also said that he met with Joe and Hunter Biden in early May 2017 to discuss the Chinese deal. Joe Biden has long denied discussing business with his son.

The Bidens’ involvement in the partnership was a key selling point to CEFC China, according to other documents obtained by the DCNF. But the 42-page investment outline is the only document from Bobulinski’s records that explicitly touts Joe Biden contacts with foreign leaders.

The investment outline, which is marked “Sensitive and Confidential,” mapped out prospective investment opportunities for CEFC China Energy in Oman, Romania, Luxembourg and Colombia.

“The relationship between Colombian president Juan Manuel Santos and Joe Biden has been a strong one throughout the Obama administration,” reads the document.

Amazon gets on ‘secretive’ UK government panel on post-Brexit supply rules while benefiting financially from own ‘advice’ – report

Online retail giant Amazon is ensuring a lucrative future in UK government contracts, guiding a “secretive” Cabinet Office panel on making policy on post-Brexit procurement of goods and services, a fair tax advocate has revealed.

The US internet behemoth, whose CEO Jeff Bezos is said to be the richest man in the world, sits on a panel set up by the UK Cabinet Office to make binding decisions on public sector procurement post-Brexit, the Fair Tax Mark’s Paul Monaghan told UK outlet the Mirror on Sunday.

The Cabinet Office refused to supply minutes from two 2020 meetings in which Amazon representatives were present with Lord Agnew, minister for efficiency and transformation, the Mirror claimed in its report. Amazon reps were also said to be present at a pair of 2019 meetings alongside Cabinet Office minister Oliver Dowden, who has since been appointed culture secretary.

“The manner in which Amazon is embedding itself into national and regional public procurement in the UK has long been cause for concern,” Monaghan explained, adding that the company’s presence on this “secretive” panel tasked with setting government policy going forward is “truly frightening.”

We are close to the point where it will be impossible for anyone else to compete.

Amazon appears to have benefited quite massively from the business advice it has given London, having secured 82 central government contracts over the past five years, worth a total of £225 million ($293.5 million). It runs the central marketplace in which local councils buy supplies via an exclusive deal. And its apparent guiding hand in post-Brexit policy seems to fly in the face of PM Boris Johnson’s pledge to change procurement rules to favor smaller local firms after the UK leaves the EU.

Frances O’Grady, the general secretary of the British Trades Union Congress, called out the retail giant’s “exploitative business model” and slammed London for “rewarding” its misdeeds with “a seat at the table on an influential Government board advising on public procurement, on top of the multi-million-pound Government contracts it [already] receives.”

The Fair Tax Mark, which rates businesses on the transparency of their tax payments, has previously accused Amazon of dramatically underpaying UK corporate taxes. Last year, Amazon UK Services paid just £14 million ($18.3 million) in taxes on total in-country sales of £10.9 billion ($14.22 billion), part of a pattern of behavior the group has described as “aggressive” tax avoidance by American Big Tech firms.

Election Interference: Google Suppresses Breitbart News in Search – Even with Exact Headline

Google, the world’s most powerful technology company, is actively interfering in the coming election by burying links to Breitbart News in its search results.

In July, Breitbart News published data showing that Breitbart’s Google search visibility is down 99 percent compared to the same period in 2016.

RealClearPolitics later published data corroborating this, and showing that the same silent expulsion from Google search results has happened to a variety of other conservative news websites as well.

It appears that Breitbart News links are being hidden on Google searches even when users search for the exact string of words in an original Breitbart headline. When links to Breitbart stories do appear, it is often below obscure websites that plagiarize Breitbart’s content.

Search ranking is critical for web traffic from Google. The search analytics industry has found that the top three search results on Google drive over 70 percent of clicks.

In a new video, Breitbart News Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow reveals in additional detail the depth of Google’s suppression of Breitbart’s reporting.

“Breitbart News is, according to Amazon-owned Alexa.com, one of the top five news publishers in the United States, yet if you search — verbatim — Breitbart headlines in Google, you won’t necessarily get any Breitbart results at all,” Marlow said.

The video goes on to demonstrate Google’s suppression of Breitbart News.

In one example, the viral Breitbart News story, “Maskless Nancy Pelosi Goes to San Francisco Hair Salon Despite Coronavirus Restrictions,” fails to return any links to the site on Google.

Instead, Google displays a list of obscure websites, some of which have plagiarized Breitbart’s article, posting the article and headline in full.

Google only displays one link that might lead users to Breitbart’s story, a link to a post about the article on thedonald.win, an independent online forum set up by exiles from r/the_Donald, the Reddit hub of Trump supporters that was blacklisted by the leftist administrators of Reddit earlier this year.

The same experiment was repeated with various other headlines, which again yield links to obscure websites plagiarizing the articles.

Black Lives Matter Group Applies to Become Political Party in the UK

A Black Lives Matter group formally applied to become a political party in the United Kingdom on Monday, confirming suspicions that the far-left movement indeed has political aspirations in Britain, despite claims that the movement was non-partisan.

On October 26th, an application was filed with the Electoral Commission for Black Lives Matter to become a fully-fledged political party throughout the entire UK should the commission accept the request. The group will need to file a party constitution, pay £150, and submit any logos before being accepted.

In response to the move, political commentator and former teacher Calvin Robinson — who is himself mixed race and has suffered racist abuse in the past for failing to hold left-wing political positions — told Breitbart London: “There surely can no longer be any doubt, Black Lives Matter is a political movement with a political agenda. Anyone who still protests under that banner must be subscribing to their anti-British principles.”

Former Brexit Party MEP Martin Daubney added on social media: “Many of us who said this was their aim were dismissed as extremists, but it was inevitable all along!”

The Black Lives Matter movement saw a resurgence in the UK following the death of George Floyd in America, staging mass protests across the country, with many devolving into violent confrontations with police. The group was also behind a widespread iconoclastic campaign to tear down and deface statues honouring British historical figures.

In June, at the height of the furore and chaos, Brexit Leader Nigel Farage described Black Lives Matter as “a dangerous, Marxist organisation, hell-bent on anarchy, and we need to wake up, get some facts into our heads, and understand what it is we’re fighting.”

A spokesman for the Black Lives Matter affiliate in Britain (UKBLM) denied any connection or knowledge of the group that filed to become a political party, telling the Daily Mail: “We has absolutely no connection, affiliations or other and no individual or group has informed or made us aware of their intentions of forming a political party under the name of Black Lives Matter. It is not us.”

“We are operating as non-political, non-partisan, non-violence Black Lives Matter platform. Some content published on this website may have political elements by the nature of a society and state governed under a system of democracy; however we operate in a humanitarian capacity and concern before all else,” the spokesman added.

In the UK, there are many splinter Black Lives Matter groups, and the leadership of UKBLM has remained anonymous, meaning that another faction in the country may be behind the party application without the spokesman who talked to the Daily Mail even being aware.

In June, a self-described black radical protester addressed a “conspiracy about Black Lives Matter UK”, saying: “They are real, they are black, and they are in support of all black life”.

She claimed that “our organisation has been in contact with them”, adding that BLMUK is “facilitating the protests but cannot reveal themselves, because there is a great threat from police interception and right-wing interception.”

The infamous drug lord “El Chapo” sued a cartel news focused-blog and several Mexican newspapers for publishing a photo of his California driver’s license in 2013. Univision originally exposed the matter, but it is not named in the recent suit. The document in question revealed that the cartel leader managed to receive a valid ID using a fake name.

While the Univision story and reprints were published in 2013, it wasn’t until September 2020 when California attorney Jeffrey Mendleman filed a lawsuit against Borderland Beat, Blogger.com, Google LLC, and several Mexican newspapers including Reforma and El Manana. Several social media accounts publishing citizen journalism are also named.

In the case filed in the Northern District of California, the lawyer for Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman asks that the convicted drug lord be allowed to file the lawsuit under “John Doe” to protect his client from “the risk that defendants publish additional articles based on the litigation disclosing his identity.”

Mendleman claims that on June 23, 2020, Borderland Beat published an unredacted photograph of a driver’s license belonging to John Doe (El Chapo) that showed his license number, date of birth, address, and signature. In the suit, El Chapo is asking for $250,000 in damages. The Mexican newspapers and citizen journalists named in the lawsuit also printed stories about the driver’s license.

What the lawsuit does not mention is that in November 2013, Univision ran a special segment about El Chapo revealing that despite being a wanted drug lord in the U.S., he managed to get a California driver’s license in 1988. The information for Univision’s segment was originally attributed to a file from the DEA. In 2013, Borderland Beat aggregated Univision’s reporting and used the images from the story.

An unidentified woman listed in Epstein’s notorious black book told Mother Jones magazine that the moneyman made the direct approach when she was at an art fair in Palm Beach, Florida.

“He came up to me and said, ‘Would you like a date with Prince Andrew?’” she recalled. No date was given for the incident, and it was unclear whether Epstein’s direct approach worked.

Another woman in the black book, identified by the pseudonym Julie, told the outlet it was Epstein’s typical technique for finding girls.

“He’d take some rich guy and introduce him to a girl,” she said, claiming that the late pedophile set her up for an “incredibly awkward” meeting with Victoria’s Secret founder Leslie Wexner.

“Wexner was this super-successful guy who didn’t really have any life, and Jeff described him to me as completely socially inept,” Julie told Mother Jones.

“Jeffrey told me, ‘This guy [Wexner] has everything in the world, but he doesn’t have anyone to share it with,’ and Jeffrey knew all the girls in the world,” Julie told the mag.

Mother Jones writer Leland Nally said he spent a year contacting all 1,571 people in the “gargantuan” black book after finding a copy in the “dark corners of the internet” days after 66-year-old Epstein’s suicide in August 2019.

Some in the book told the author it may have actually been accused madam Ghislaine Maxwell’s list, with many only having connections to her and not Epstein.

His calls led to “a lot of panicked hangups” — saying he “spoke to billionaires, CEOs, bankers, models, celebrities, scientists, a Kennedy, and some of Epstein’s closest friends and confidants.”

He even called a private number at Buckingham Palace, he told the Times of London.

“I called a number I shouldn’t have had,” he told the UK paper of one of 16 numbers he said were listed for the Duke of York in the book.

“When someone replied, I just asked if Prince Andrew was there,” he said, saying he was patched through to a number of people.

“Finally I was asked angrily how I got this number and who I was. Then they hung up on me,” he told the UK Times.

Andrew has been accused in legal filings and TV interviews of having sex with one of Epstein’s accusers three times, claims which the UK royal and Buckingham Palace have vehemently denied.

New Chrome 0-day Under Active Attacks – Update Your Browser Now

Attention readers, if you are using Google Chrome browser on your Windows, Mac, or Linux computers, you need to update your web browsing software immediately to the latest version Google released earlier today.

Google released Chrome version 86.0.4240.111 today to patch several security high-severity issues, including a zero-day vulnerability that has been exploited in the wild by attackers to hijack targeted computers.

Tracked as CVE-2020-15999, the actively exploited vulnerability is a type of memory-corruption flaw called heap buffer overflow in Freetype, a popular open source software development library for rendering fonts that comes packaged with Chrome.

The vulnerability was discovered and reported by security researcher Sergei Glazunov of Google Project Zero on October 19 and is subject to a seven-day public disclosure deadline due to the flaw being under active exploitation.

Glazunov also immediately reported the zero-day vulnerability to FreeType developers, who then developed an emergency patch to address the issue on October 20 with the release of FreeType 2.10.4.

Without revealing technical details of the vulnerability, the technical lead for Google's Project Zero Ben Hawkes warned on Twitter that while the team has only spotted an exploit targeting Chrome users, it's possible that other projects that use FreeType might also be vulnerable and are advised to deploy the fix included in FreeType version 2.10.4.

China Preparing For Biden Administration, Sanctions US Companies Over Taiwan Support

China will inflict sanctions on US companies including Boeing and Lockheed Martin for providing weapons to Taiwan, a foreign ministry representative announced Monday.

Raytheon also will be a target, continued the spokesman, Zhao Lijian. He provided no details of what punishments might be inflicted or when.

China and Taiwan split through a civil war in 1949 and don't have any diplomatic relations. Beijing claims the democratically led island as a section of the communist mainland's territory and has warned it to attack.

'In order to safeguard national interests, China decided to impose sanctions on the American companies that were involved in arms sales to Taiwan,' Zhao announced at a regular news briefing.

The latest US arms agreement covers sensors, missiles and artillery, and further congressional notifications are expected for drones made by General Atomics and land-based Harpoon anti-ship missiles, made by Boeing, to work

as coastal defense cruise missiles.

The news appears after the Chinese military bragged about its combat abilities and directed live-fire drills in perceived warnings to Taiwan.

Beijing has used progressing pressure on democratically-ruled Taiwan to accept China's sovereignty, including by piloting fighter jets over the sensitive midline of the Taiwan Strait, which usually serves as an unofficial buffer.

A recent report implied that China had used its most advanced hypersonic missile to its southeast borders near Taiwan to 'prepare for a possible invasion' of the island - insists China's state media marked as 'merely speculation'.

A group of child protection experts has urged the Dutch government to roll out compulsory contraception for women who are addicted to drugs or mentally ill to 'prevent child abuse'.

The Standing Committee for Compulsory Contraception has lodged the proposal with the Dutch House of Representatives which claims the measure would stop children being abused by mothers who are unable to cope with raising them.

The proposal, which could see 'hundreds' of women given a contraceptive implant or injection, would see child protection officials apply for a court order to curb a woman's ability to conceive for a given period of time.

The court order could be sought if the woman had a mental health condition, a diagnosed learning difficulty, a Hepatitis B or C infection, or if she had a history of child abuse, Dutch News reported.

Former juvenile judge Cees de Groot, who submitted the proposal, used an example of a prostitute with a diagnosed psychiatric illness whose clients paid more for a pregnant woman - leading to her wanting a child.

De Groot told AD.nl that 70 per cent of women considered vulnerable already co-operated with voluntary contraception, adding that it was the 30 per cent who didn't who were a cause for concern.

But MailOnline can reveal Tetley, 40, has won a bid to get his punishment cut, meaning he will be closely monitored on license for just five years when he leaves jail.

An appeal at the High Court presided over by Lady Justice Simler said the sentence was too long for the crimes.

Previously Judge Jonathan Durham Hall QC had ruled at Bradford Crown Court he should be watched for eight years in public.

The news will sicken his victims, one of whom said they were unable to trust adults anymore and likened him to paedophile Jimmy Savile.

The Criminal Appeal Office confirmed to MailOnline: 'The full court allowed the appeal and the sentence is now an extended sentence of 14 years, comprising a custodial term of nine years and an extended period of license of five years.'

Extended periods of licenses are put in place by judges to 'protect the public from serious harm'.

Tetley had admitted seven charges of causing sexual exploitation of boys and two counts relating to the distribution of indecent images.

He had coerced them into sending sexual images and videos in exchange for money from October 2018 to August 2019.

The court had heard his celebrity status had ‘now gone, tarnished and destroyed', but the impact of his crimes on his victims had been 'most distressing'.

30 Police Officers Injured By Anti-Police Rioters In Democrat-Controlled Philadelphia

Violent anti-police rioters attacked law enforcement officials in Philadelphia on Monday night, injuring 30 officers in response to police killing a man that approached them with a knife earlier in the day.

The rioters were “throwing rocks and bricks at police” while others were engaged in “looting or vandalizing businesses,” NBC Philadelphia reported. “At least 30 police officers were hurt, police said. One was hospitalized, a 56-year-old sergeant who was struck by a pickup truck at 52nd and Walnut streets early Tuesday. Her leg was broken, among other injuries, police said.”

Journalist Andy Ngo, an expert in tracking far-left extremist groups, tweeted out a video from the violent riots, claiming that it was a Black Lives Matter riot.

“At the Philadelphia BLM riot, a cop got hit or run over by a speeding vehicle,” Ngo wrote.

NBC Philadelphia reported yesterday afternoon on the incident that led to the riots. Police were called to neighborhood over reports of a man with a weapon. The man, 27-year-old Walter Wallace, was holding a knife when police arrived.

The report stated:

One video posted on Instagram shows Wallace walking toward the officers while a woman, who a witness identified as Wallace’s mother, tries to stop him. Two armed police officers back away from Wallace and tell him at least twice to “put the knife down” though it’s unclear from the video whether or not Wallace is holding a knife.

As Wallace continues to approach the officers, the camera briefly points downward and the sounds of several gunshots are heard as the police open fire. The camera then rises again, showing Wallace motionless on the ground as his mother runs toward him, screaming hysterically.

Maurice Holloway, a witness, told NBC10 he helped officers place Wallace in the police car that rushed him to the hospital.

“My prayers are with the family and friends of Walter Wallace,” Mayor Jim Kenney said in a statement. “I have watched the video of this tragic incident and it presents difficult questions that must be answered. I spoke tonight with Mr. Wallace’s family, and will continue to reach out to hear their concerns first-hand, and to answer their questions to the extent that I am able. The Officer Involved Shooting Investigation Unit of PPD will conduct a full investigation. I look forward to a speedy and transparent resolution for the sake of Mr. Wallace, his family, the officers, and for Philadelphia.”

Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw added, “I have directed the Officer Involved Shooting Investigation Unit to begin its investigation. I recognize that the video of the incident raises many questions. Residents have my assurance that those questions will be fully addressed by the investigation. A swath of what appear to be secret Foreign & Commonwealth Office documents outline a multimillion-pound British effort to train rebel fighters in Syria via private companies, knowing but brushing off the risk of jihadist hijack.

The documents released by the hacktivist collective Anonymous appear to expose a variety of covert actions undertaken by the UK government against the Syrian state over many years.

The overriding objective behind them all, the papers suggest, was to destabilise the government of Bashar Assad, convince Syrians, Western citizens, foreign governments, and international bodies that the Free Syrian Army (FSA) was a legitimate alternative, and flood media the world over with pro-opposition propaganda.

The dimensions of the assorted information warfare operations implied in the papers, some of which have been detailed by Grayzone Project, were vast. In a representative example, “social enterprise” firm ARK, founded by veteran Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) operative Alistair Harris, “rebranded” the Syrian Military Council, “softening the Free Syrian Army’s image” in order to “distinguish it from extremist armed opposition groups and establish the image of a functioning, inclusive, disciplined and professional military body.”

Training ‘credible and effective’ militants

At least one cog in this cloak and dagger connivance was overtly militant in nature. From August 2016, a consortium of private contractors ran a programme for the FCO, through which “training, equipment, and other forms of support” was provided to the FSA’s ‘Southern Front’ coalition, to “foster a negotiated political transition, support moderate structures and groups in opposition held areas of Syria, counter violent extremism and prevent the establishment of a terrorist safe-haven.”

Under its clandestine auspices, up to 600 belligerents were trained every year the operation ran, an indeterminate total – the endeavour was dubbed MAO B-FOR (Moderate Armed Opposition Border Force Capability Project), and forecast to cost the FCO £15,767,599.

The U.S. is still in its first wave of the coronavirus pandemic, top infectious disease physician Dr Anthony Fauci believes.

'I look at it more as an elongated - and an exacerbation of - the original first wave,' said Dr Fauci of the current state of the pandemic in the U.S. during at the Yahoo Finance All Markets Summit.

Nationwide, the number of new coronavirus cases confirmed on each Friday and Saturday exceeded 80,000 - breaking the July record of 75,723 cases in a day, according to tracking from Johns Hopkins University.

But Dr Fauci thinks the surges we are seeing now are not a yet a second wave, but a back-end result of the U.S.'s failure to ever drive daily infections down to a sufficiently low baseline to prevent resurgences.

'We started to see a peak that brought us up to around 70,000 per day,' in July, he said.

'Now as we're getting into the cold weather, we came back up again to the worst that we've ever had, which was over 80,000 per day.'

On Friday, the US recorded a record 83,757 new coronavirus cases.

That figure was down only slightly on Saturday, to 83,718, according to Johns Hopkins's data.

Many health experts have warned that these new highs are just the beginning of the dreaded second wave of the pandemic.

European health authorities are fairly convinced that they are seeing that second wave.

The structure bombed is far from the front-line, and there is a ceasefire that Turkey is in a technical breach of, but that is mainly nonetheless upheld. Clearly, the parading Islamists had assumed they were protected by the Russian-Turkish deal from March.

This points to it being a message to Turkey from the Russian military. Moscow doesn’t hold much love for the current Armenian PM, but at the same time it can not be happy that Turkish backing and encouragement for Azerbaijan was pivotal in starting the ongoing Armenian-Azeri war.

Moscow wants decent relations and a measure of influence with Armenia and Azerbaijan both — if for no other reason then so that they’re not applying for NATO in the manner of neighboring Georgia — but a war between the two complicates that goal.

The Russian message is clear: if Turkey insists on fueling the Armenian-Azeri war in the Caucasus, Russia can in turn re-open the Idlib front and back another Syrian government push to retake it from the rebels grouped around al-Qaeda.

Hacker steals $24 million from cryptocurrency service 'Harvest Finance'

Hacker returned $2.5 million while Harvest Finance authors put out a $100,000 reward for anyone who can return the rest of the funds.

A hacker has stolen roughly $24 million worth of cryptocurrency assets from decentralized finance (DeFi) service Harvest Finance, a web portal that lets users invest cryptocurrencies and then farm the price variations for small profit yields.

The hack took place earlier today and was almost immediately confirmed by Harvest Finance administrators in messages posted on the company's Twitter account and Discord channel.

According to these messages, a hacker invested large quantities of cryptocurrency assets in its service and then used a cryptographic exploit to siphon the platform's funds to their own wallets.

In total, the hacker stole $13 million worth of USD Coin (USDC) and $11 million worth of Tether (USDT), according to a transaction ID singled out by Harvest Finance administrators in a subsequent post-mortem investigation.

Two minutes after the attack, the hacker also returned $2.5 million back to the platform, but the reasoning behind this operation remains unclear.

Company claims to have identified the attacker

In a message posted on its Discord channel, Harvest Finance claimed the attack left "a significant amount of personally identifiable information on the attacker" and described them as "well-known in the crypto community."

Large corporate landlords have filed eviction actions against 10,000 tenants in five states since September - despite a federal ban on evicting residents impacted by COVID-19 until the end of the year

Some of the country’s largest residential landlords have moved to oust thousands of tenants from their homes during the coronavirus pandemic despite federal eviction protections, according to a new report.

Big corporate landlords have filed nearly 10,000 eviction actions in courts across five states, even though a nationwide eviction moratorium, issued by the CDC in September, bars them from evicting tenants impacted by COVID-19 for non-payment of rent.

But while the CDC says such tenants can’t be physically removed from their homes before the end of the year, landlords are permitted to begin eviction proceedings now and aren't required to tell tenants about the protections available to them.

Thousands of those actions have since been filed in 23 counties in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee and Texas since early September, according to NBC.

Among the large landlords filing numerous evictions include prosperous US public companies like Invitation Homes, which owns and leases 80,000 single-family homes nationwide.

Court records show the company has filed 122 eviction notices across the five states since September, despite the fact the company is thriving, with earnings rising 54 percent in the first six months of 2020, and its stock price jumping 80 percent since the market tanked in March.

Another company filing the eviction actions is Progress Residential, which owns and leases 40,000 homes nationwide.

Progress tenant, Cristina Velez, of Boco Raton, Florida, told NBC how the company issued her an ultimatum on September 8 to pay the rent or deliver the premises.

Just over two weeks later, Progress filed eviction proceedings against Velez, demanding $4,210.14 in rent and legal fees, delivering the papers to her door, she said.

‘I told them I was affected by Covid, but it didn't matter to them,’ Velez said. ‘They are not very patient.’

Velez had recently lost her job running the staffing team on a Covid-19 treatment trial.

The mother-of-one claimed not once did a Progress representative tell her about the CDC’s nationwide eviction moratorium.

‘I said, “There's got to be something for people affected by Covid and being furloughed,"’ the 46-year-old said she told Progress. ‘There's nothing we can do,’ the company representative replied, she said.

Velez said she ended up selling her car to settle the dispute and stave off eviction. Her eviction action is one of 97 filed by Progress Residential against their tenants since the CDC announced its ban on evictions.

Progress, a large and well-funded landlord, is owned by Pretium Partners, a $3 billion hedge fund that invests in distressed properties.

Federal and state law enforcement officials have already begun expanded preparations for the possibility of widespread unrest at the polls on Election Day, a response to extraordinarily high tensions among voters and anxieties about safety stoked in part by President Donald Trump.

Brandon Jones, a spokesman for the Texas Guard, said troops would be sent to Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin and San Antonio. He said: 'Right now we could go to 1,000 troops in support of civil disturbance operations.

'We’re going to guard buildings just like we did during the George Floyd protests earlier this year. We are not going anywhere near polling locations. That has not been requested.'

Blackburn demands answers from education giant over Confucius Institute ties

Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R., Tenn.) is demanding that the College Board explain its decades-long partnership with a Chinese front group that has allowed Beijing to influence thousands of American students.

Blackburn asked the educational nonprofit to explain the nature of its long-standing partnership with the Confucius Institute, also known as Hanban—a Chinese government-backed group that the federal government says is a propaganda arm of the Chinese Communist Party. The Republican senator said the lucrative relationship could unduly influence the College Board, which administers the SAT as well as college-level "Advanced Placement" courses for high school students.

"It is my concern that the Chinese government is manipulating this [College Board] partnership to characterize China in a wholesome light and stifle conversation that might be detrimental to the reputation of the Chinese Communist Party," Blackburn said in a letter obtained by the Washington Free Beacon. "College Board's relationship with Hanban creates momentous security concerns."

An August report from the National Association of Scholars found that the College Board received nearly $700,000 from the Confucius Institute to develop the Chinese curriculum for its Advanced Placement program, shaping the education of thousands of U.S. high school students who take the course each year. The College Board also helped place hundreds of Chinese teachers—vetted by the Confucius Institute—in schools across the country and cohosts the largest conference for Chinese teachers with the regime-backed group. Blackburn asked College Board CEO David Coleman to explain what role institute officials play in teacher selection and test criteria, as well as whether the relationship could give regime figures "undue influence" over American students.

The College Board did not return a request for comment about its dealings with the Confucius Institute.

The senator's letter, which was sent Tuesday, is the latest in the bipartisan push to rein in the activities of the Confucius Institute, which had more than 100 branches in U.S. colleges and K-12 schools across the country at its height in 2017. Congress prohibited American universities from diverting Pentagon funding to support Confucius Institute programming in 2018, and the Senate unanimously passed a bill in June that would require all federally funded universities to exercise "full managerial control" of the China-backed programs.

According to a court ruling, an employee has been sentenced to more than five years in jail.

A court in Turkey has sentenced a local staffer at the US consulate in Istanbul for helping a "terror group", the Anadolu state-run news agency reported.

Nazmi Mete Canturk, a Turkish citizen who worked at the consulate, was sentenced to five years, two months and 15 days on charges of "helping" the Gülenist Terror Group (FETÖ), a movement which Ankara believes stood behind the failed coup in 2016, the agency added. In July, another staffer at the consulate, Metin Topuz, was sentenced to eight years and nine months in prison for aiding FETÖ.

Adware found in 21 Android apps with more than 7 million downloads

Six of the 21 apps are still available on the Google Play Store.

Google has removed 15 of 21 Android applications from the official Play Store over the weekend following a report from Czech antivirus maker Avast.

The security firm said the apps were infected with a type of malware known as HiddenAds.

Discovered in 2019, this Android adware strain operates by showing excessive and intrusive ads and by opening mobile browsers on ad-heavy or promotional pages.

In a report published today, Avast malware analyst Jakub Vávra said the apps mimicked popular games, and the criminal group behind this operation relied on social media ads and marketing to draw users to their Play Store pages.

Once users installed any of these apps, the HiddenAds malware would hide the app's icon (to make it difficult for users to delete the app in the future) and then start bombarding users with ads.

The names and Play Store URLs of all the 21 apps are available in this spreadsheet.

New Unseen Emails: Does This Heated Exchange Suggest Hunter’s Deals Were Too Dirty For His Business Associate?

Revolver News has obtained screenshots of unpublished emails from Hunter’s hard drive suggesting a dramatic falling out between Hunter and his business partner. The substance of this email pertains to Hunter’s holdings in a Chinese private equity firm BHR. Revolver has covered BHR in previous articles as follows: There is no apparent reason for HUNTER’s participation in the BHR partnership other than political payoff and influence. Virtually all financial investors or partners are state policy entities, state owned entities, or only nominally private. The investments flow primarily to Chinese state backed projects or firms. The financial terms, where we have been able to locate specific deal terms, engage in non-normal business practices designed to funnel fees and assets to benefit a specific party. BHR is a state managed operation. Leading shareholder Bohai is a Bank of China subsidiary, and BHR’s partners are Chinese State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) that funnel revenue/assets to BHR.

Here, Hunter’s business partner Eric Schwerin acknowledges the existence of special loans from BHR to US shareholders. The obvious question is, did all US shareholders get such loans, or only special shareholders? And what makes the special shareholders special? It is interesting that Eric Schwerin goes out of his way to attribute this to Hunter in writing. Eric Schwerin demonstrates a curious eagerness to pay back the $150k BHR loan. It is not clear that this is from disbursements as described in the previous mail. A source has suggested to Revolver News that Eric became concerned with the nature of the loans and wanted to wrap up his own personal involvement with BHR. This is merely informed speculation, but it is consistent with other e-mails from Schwerin that Revolver staff has seen. The following e-mail suggests Schwerin is ready to be done with Hunter, offering to buy him out of the Rosemont Seneca Partnership entirely. Hunter’s reply to the e-mail suggests a strained relationship to say the least.

Whatever the reason for Schwerin’s falling out with Hunter Biden, it underscores the pattern whereby just about everyone who has done business with Hunter either despises him, is in jail, or both. This raises a question as to Hunter’s relationship with business partner Christopher Heinz. Heinz is the son-in-law of former Senator and Secretary of State John Kerry. The firm mentioned in the email, Rosemont Seneca, is named after the Heinz family farm. Inquiring minds would like to know the status of Christopher Heinz, how his relationship with Hunter has developed, and what if any culpability Heinz might have in the shady dealings with Rosemont and BHR. Revolver staff is actively investigating, and readers can expect prompt updates if and when we obtain more emails that offer insight into Hunter’s business dealings.

Freedom of speech on the Internet is all but extinct, and on the eve of the 2020 US elections, a de facto “free speech court” is going to make sure it never comes back. On Facebook at least.

Days away from the most polarized electoral contest in American history, social media companies like Facebook have vowed to censor any voices which they and their partners in the federal government consider inconvenient. According to the Wall Street Journal, Facebook is ready to implement election information strategies that have been in the works for years.

Company spokesman Andy Stone told the WSJ that the social media giant will be applying the “lessons” learned from previous elections in accordance with the designs of “hired experts” and vague references to “new teams,” who are leveraging their “experience across different areas to prepare for various scenarios.”

Mark Zuckerberg’s de facto monopoly over online peer-to-peer communication tools has given Facebook an inordinate amount of influence over the political narratives at both national and regional levels, which it has shown a willingness exercise with topics like the Philippines and Palestine.

Last week, the company took a major step in solidifying its grip over the content purveyed on its platform with the official launch of the Facebook Oversight board. A body that is to function like a ‘Supreme Court’ for chat rooms, if you will, with the power to review any decisions regarding post removals or deplatforming and to make policy recommendations. Members have been drawn from “law experts… rights advocates” and journalists from around the world. The oversight board currently boasts 20 members.

Four members – two of which have extensive experience in the U.S. judicial system – serve as the board’s co-chairs and were handpicked by Facebook, according to The Guardian. Other board members include former Danish prime minister, Helle Thorning-Schmidt, who is also a co-chair and is perhaps only remembered outside of Denmark for her selfie faux pas at Mandela’s funeral in 2013 when she was photographed taking a group photo with Barack Obama and David Cameron during the commemoration.

Judge in Flynn case asks Justice Department to swear FBI records not altered

The judge overseeing the prosecution of former national security adviser Michael Flynn ordered the Justice Department to swear that FBI records weren’t altered beyond the accidental attachment of yellow sticky notes indicating estimated dates for the documents.

Attorney General William Barr’s Justice Department filed the documents in federal court in Washington in support of its request to drop the Flynn prosecution. The photocopies of hand-written notes by former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe and Peter Strzok, the onetime agent who started the 2016 probe into Russian election interference, accidentally included the attached post-its containing the dates.

After the notes were made public in the court docket, both McCabe and Strzok alerted the court that they hadn’t included the dates. The government has said the notes “were otherwise unaltered” but U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan said he wants assurances.

Sullivan on Friday gave the Justice Department until Oct. 26 to submit declarations “pursuant to penalty of perjury” affirming the authenticity of the evidence, noting that “the government has acknowledged that altered FBI records have been produced by the government and filed on the record in this case.”

Flynn twice pleaded guilty to lying to federal agents about his contacts with Russia’s ambassador in 2016, but later retracted his guilty plea. The Justice Department now argues the case against him was cooked up by FBI staff, including McCabe and Strzok, who sought to undermine President Donald Trump’s administration. The U.S. has pointed to the notes to support its argument as Sullivan weighs dismissal.

A New World Monetary Order Is Coming

The global coronavirus pandemic has accelerated several troubling trends already in force. Among them are exponential debt growth, rising dependency on government, and scaled-up central bank interventions into markets and the economy.

Central bankers now appear poised to embark on their biggest power play ever.

Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell, in coordination with the European Central Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF), is preparing to roll out central bank digital currencies.

The globalist IMF recently called for a new “Bretton Woods Moment” to address the loss of trillions of dollars in global economic output due to the coronavirus.

In the aftermath of World War II, the original Bretton Woods agreement established a world monetary order with the U.S. dollar as the reserve currency.

Importantly, the dollar was to be pegged to the price of gold. Foreign governments and central banks could also redeem their dollar reserves in gold, and they started doing so in earnest in the 1960s and early 1970s.

In 1971, President Richard Nixon closed the gold window, effectively ushering in a new world monetary order based solely on the full faith and credit of the United States. An inflation crisis followed a few years later.

In response, the Federal Reserve took the painful step of jacking up interest rates to defend its wilting Federal Reserve Note and tame rising prices.

Fast forward to 2020, and the Fed has assumed for itself novel policy mandates that are a precursor to a new monetary system.

But the monetary masters aren’t contemplating a return to sound money. Rather, they’re planning for even more debt, more inflation, and picking of winners and losers in the economy.

The Fed has unceremoniously thrown its statutory dual mandate of full employment and stable prices out the window. It now gives itself an unlimited mandate to inject stimulus and bailout cash wherever it sees fit (including, recently, “junk” bond exchange-traded funds).

Instead of pursuing stable prices, the Fed is now explicitly embarking on an inflation-raising campaign with the goal of generating annual price level increases above 2% for an undefined period. The next frontier of the Fed’s unlimited mandate could be “FedCoin” – a central bank digital currency.

Earlier this month Chairman Powell participated in an IMF panel on international payments and digital currencies. He touted electronic payments systems and raised the possibility of integrating them into a central bank digital currency regime.

Anti-Trump ‘Lincoln Project’ To Become Full-Blown Media Business Post-Election

Popular anti-Trump organization The Lincoln Project is set to become a political media company after this year’s Presidential election, according to a new Axios story.

The “never-Trump” PAC recently signed a deal with United Talent Agency to build “Lincoln Media”, Axios reports. There are talks of developing more podcasts, books and potentially a TV show, Axios says

The organization, which was founded by numerous ex-GOP figures like Rick Wilson, Steve Schmidt, and George Conway, has amassed more than 2.6 million Twitter followers and nearly one million Facebook followers. They have gained attention via moves like buying giant ads in Times Square and creating viral anti-Trump videos on social media.

Now, the group will seek to leverage that following into expanding its current media portfolio, which includes the Lincoln Project Podcast and two streaming shows on LPTV, which can be seen on Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube. The company is currently working on a documentary, discussing a “House of Cards” like TV show, and investigating the possibility of bringing its LPTV programming to traditional television, according to Axios.
